"I think with the off season and kind of learning the intricacies of playing linebacker, he could completely take off as a sophomore. This is a guy who I think was still learning the position. He played a lot of running back in high school. So I think Ellis staff in Matt house and Ethan's coordinator did a great job of playing to Harold Perkins drinks and kind of unleashing him in like a heavy blitzing pass rushing role. So I think if he has a full off season to really settle in, learn the defense, we could see just a highly impactful, incredible linebacker. He was arguably the best linebacker in the country as a true freshman. And I'm not even sure he would really knew what he was doing out there. He's just so athletic. And then you had Kuwait at number 9. It's rare when you only see one Alabama player in the top ten, but he certainly part of a union. I want to ask you about one player right outside the top ten. And that's a judgment from all this. So this is a guy that nobody saw coming and he is exploded into one of the best offensive weapons in the country. Yeah, yeah. To hit on Kool-Aid real quick, I mean, Kool-Aid, I think just phenomenal ball skills. He had 17 pass breakups, so he was the guy who I think sing it back to him in high school, he was a phenomenal receiver. I'm not sure he would have wouldn't have been Alabama's best receiver if he had played there last year, but yeah, like Paul, Quincy on Jenkins was phenomenal. I think he was the breakout star of the SEC last year, at least on offense. He was our offensive true freshman of the year last year and you think about going to the season. Everybody was talking about Zac Evans, the TCU transferred former 5 star. Quincy junkins outplayed Zach Evans last year. I think he had over 1500 rushing yards. It seemed like he had a 150 yards every week. A guy who was not as heralded, like you mentioned, but he was a top target for lane kiffin, and they got him out of Alabama. He was phenomenal last year. The guy who forces a ton of this tackles. He's just not going to blow you away from a size or speed perspective, but very instinctive and maximizes yardage and really kept old misses offense churning last year in games that they needed to win. Charles, I think it's interesting. You see two Penn State players in the top ten, but hold that thought because I want to ask you about that in a minute as well as some other players. And we welcome some of you who have been watching the NCAA softball tournament. We are in a conversation here about the top hundred players in the game as we are 100 days out on the college football season. We are chatting with Charles powers from on three. Charles, I mentioned Penn State, there are a minute ago. They have struggled to get into the playoffs. However, this year we have two of the top ten players in the country, I'm curious just in terms of that and what else they have and what the likelihood perhaps they could make a run at the Big Ten. Yeah, I'm really high on Penn State's talent nucleus. They have a ton of young talent and I think it's guys who are sophomores juniors once you had breakout freshman years there. I think they're going to make the Big Ten east very interesting this year. You start off with old fashion. I think he would have had a chance to be the top offensive tackle drafted in this draft. He chose to come back for his senior year. Caitlin king is the number two corner behind Kool-Aid mckinstry. I think drew aller is one of the most important players in college football, the former 5 star quarterback who is the presumed starter taking over for Sean Clifford. So he's a guy who I think could really take off in his first year as a starter. And then I think they have probably the best running back duo in the country to true sophomores, Nick singleton, former 5 star. I think he's the guy who could take off and maybe if pince makes a run be in the Heisman race and catron Allen, they were both like really upgraded Penn State's Russian game. You remember what Penn State's offense was like in 2021. They could barely run the ball at all. They were in the ball really well last year with two true freshman running back. So I think the Big Ten east is going to be a really fun to watch with Michigan returning up to college while playoff, Ohio State's always loaded. And I think Penn State is kind of an ascending team, at least from a talent perspective. They have to do on the field, but they're one I'm watching for sure as a potential college football playoff sleeper. Fantastic conversation with Charles pallor from on three. We really appreciate that. We're not done. We're only beginning quite frankly at first few minutes of the program and we'll talk in a minute about that NLRB situation with Darren heitner. John clay, I'm Mark stoops, and can this be the year and Nicole will join us later on as well. Your phone calls in just a few minutes. We're coming

"They had had their pick. They had the 51st pick. Yeah. Yeah, but I mean, if they had had a first round under. But yeah, I just think sometimes that's the way the draft shakes out. And the NBA is like that too. Sometimes there will be a center or like a 5, right? And the guy's clearly one of the 9 best guys in the draft, but really nobody just needs a center and then they'll fall to 17. Bam adebayo that happened when he did a couple like Greg Monroe went later than he should have. Because Jalen Darren went like, I think 13th, but he wasn't the 13th best player in the draft. Sometimes that happens. So you could tell me, I think he's probably going to suck because quarterbacks were good at this draft. But I thought it was good value. It was a really interesting quarterback draft. So I'm counting right now. There's one, two, three, that we're taking in the first round. Then you have four, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, ten, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 quarterbacks were selected. 15. That's the most. In modern, I think like 7 were taken. And as a transition to it, like henin hooker goes 68 to Detroit, then there's this big gap. One 27, the saints move up to take this guy J kaner out of Fresno state where he'll join Derek Carr as a Fresno steak guy in the fourth round. The very next pick, the rams take stetson Bennett, who I know some teams had no interest in. Take him in the fourth round, and then do picks later, it's 8 in O'Connell to the Raiders. There's going to be all these guys that were taken Clayton thune and Dorian Thompson Robinson. And I think it was the Brock purdy effect where teams were like, I'd rather have a quarterback on my roster that we might throw in and can do something than having a backup guard or a long snapper. Somebody who played in college and through for three, four years. Yes, it has a lot of reps. Let's throw Sean Clifford got drafted, and he's the guy who replaced levis at Penn State. He went to Green Bay in the 5th round, but I didn't have a draftable grade for many teams on Sean Clifford, but at that point you're like, all right, 5th round, this guy played in the big time. I like this. The Brock purdy effect. I think you're right. I think it's what it was, and teams are like, you know, max duggan from TCU, who played in the national title game, maybe he didn't have a drought chargers took them. They're like, let's add them. And other years, that would have been an undrafted guy, and we'll draft them. We'll add them to our roster. So 15 quarterbacks were taken. We go nuts over the first three and we do all the mock drafts, but to me, which one of these 15 is stetson Bennett going to have a great career with the rams? Is he the next guy after Stafford? Or is it going to be like, you know, Jaron hall in Minnesota next year is starting after Kirk Cousins leaves. And wow, he went in the 5th. I find that fascinating how each team had different boards and how they valued these quarterbacks. Did Tampa take one, I can't remember. To Tampa Bay to I don't think so. They didn't, right? Yeah, they didn't take one. They're going with Trask and they're going with baker. 'cause they already had trash. They already rolled the guy a couple of years ago, yeah. Yeah, I mean, when Bailey zappy came in for the paths, he was pretty confident that one game. They threw him in the second time in the Monday Night Football and he sucked. Yeah. I like this. I like this cute thing. The Brock purdy effect. But it's like, why wouldn't a team of offer like a second or third round or for Trey Lance and with the niners were even done that? Why would I roll the dice on one of these guys when it's Trey Lance was whether he should have been the third pick or not? He at least had the talent to be the third pick and he's been for them last year and got hurt and he's been in an NFL building with those quarterbacks and with that quarterback coach and with Kyle Shanahan for now three years. So you have to think at the very least he comes in light years ahead of a lot of these college quarterbacks. The problem with Trey Lance's, all right, so say you trade for Trey Lance, you give up a third round pick, you bring, you're getting year three, so you have to make a contract decision next year on it. You better want Trey Lance to make a difference. You better want Trey Lance to make an impact because the very likely point is your third rounder is starting somewhere this year. And maybe not a quarterback, but if you're drafting a wide receiver, defensive end, he's going to have to play. And if Trey Lance is on the bench in the next year, his contracts up, well, what do we just do? Where did you stand? Because I feel like people had to pick one way or the other where they stood on the Anthony Richardson he'd be a stud or a bust because it seems like there's no in between. He's going to be stutter a bus. Well, what I liked about Richardson is everything I spoke to said he came in and his interviews was great. But he also was like, no, I don't need a year of like, I'm good to go now. And I think the narrative was, okay, 13 career starts. He'll hold a clipboard and he'll do what Steve mcnair did. He'll do what so many of these young rookie quarterbacks do. They have to wait a year if they'll watch NFL offense, and then they get inserted and here we go. We're good to go. Mahomes model, whatever it is. He to a man to every team that interviewed him, blew them away, they loved him, and then he also said, I'm ready to go now. I could do it. And I could do it at a high level. And I think teams kind of like that. Curious to see what the colts do, but it's awesome team for him to go to. Great team for him to go to. Great offensive line and it's a fun fun market for him to have Taylor behind him and he's going to run a lot and Shane steichen has had Justin Herbert. He said Jalen hurts. He's had two different types of quarterbacks, but he also likes guys getting out of the pocket. It's a good good spot for him. And I wouldn't be shocked if he plays a lot earlier than people expect. I know men choose there and Sam Hellinger, but if Richardson's got the goods and he can move, let's get him in. All right, last thing, giants, how are we feeling? They paid Danny Jones a lot of money. I know. Get bark bark with some money. This feels like an in between year. Like the Pats had this with Parcells. They had good first year with them. And then the next year was supposed to are the good second year with them. Made the playoffs, and then it was like, oh, this is the year. And then they had to dip before it came back up. And it feels like this would be the dip and then it comes back up. I don't know. I feel like spirits are high and the Giants draft was solid. They get banks who's going to start a corner as a number one corner for them. He'll play. He'll start. And then they got the big center. John Michael Schmidt, which is good. And they got you. I like that guy. I wanted him for the paths. I thought he was that was one of my favorites. And they got Jalen Hyatt, who is going to be a burner and you've seen a lot on Twitter about whether he can run routes or not. Well, at third round pick we'll figure it out and we'll be all right. Like they're happy with what they did. I also think the Giants are fine kind of landing the cut right now as the eagles and the jets are getting all this media attention in the market. Like the Giants, they went to the playoffs. They went to the divisional round. They feel pretty good. The sac one thing is interesting. I hope it doesn't get ugly. They offered saquon.

"Everybody. Recapped a lot of the basketball hour one Reggie Miller will join us in the final hour. We'll talk to the former number two overall pick, 1998, Ryan leaf. It will join us coming up here in the man cave, as we have draft week here. I'm wondering how many quarterbacks should be taken in the first round. Not how many will because I think you're going to have 5, but how many should because is Houston going to take will levis? Where does CJ Stroud go? Anthony Richardson hand and hooker, and obviously Bryce young. It's a different NFL. Because you want to get in, get that rookie contract, build around it, and then you make that decision. Do you stay with that quarterback for a second contract? That's the blueprint right now. You have Seattle is going to be an interesting pick at number 5. Because you have a quarterback you just resigned, could you take Anthony Richardson? And if you're taking Anthony Richardson, he's not ready to play right now, but is he going to be ready in a year or two? Here's something for you. Anthony Richardson touchdown passes that he threw in college. 24. CJ Stroud through 85. Now, CJ Stroud throwing to those receivers and a better team should be throwing more touchdowns. Anthony Richardson with not a big sample size makes me nervous here. But it's a new NFL. You take a chance, this guy has a big ceiling, high ceiling, and that's what people are fascinated with this. And by all accounts seems to be a good kid, you know, high IQ. Like all these things, seems like he checks the boxes, but why did he struggle to start their Florida? If it wasn't a good team and you didn't start. It's like will levis at Penn State. Who was it Clifford? Was he the quarterback at Penn State? Sean Clifford, yep. Yeah, he couldn't be down him for three years. He went to Kentucky, and then had a good year, and then not so good year. And here he could be the second pick overall. Hendon hooker, who I loved, but he's 25 coming off ACL. He's going to be in the first round. I feel like the Vikings are going to take him. Bryce young, we know CJ Stroud is CJ Stroud going to be there for Indy. So this is what I love about draft week when there's still a lot of curiosity. And if you throw in, does Aaron Rodgers finally get traded after the first round. That's what I was told a while ago that they're going to wait because you don't want to give up that first round pick. That's what 13th, I think. Two Green Bay that you want to make the trade after the first round, then you give them a second round pick and maybe a first round that hinges on does Aaron Rodgers play next year. That's what I was told. Maybe he's traded before the draft. They've started resuming their talks. They're still the possibility and quotation marks. The forty-niners might be interested. If this doesn't work out, what if the jets say we're not going to give you what you want for Aaron Rodgers? Now what kind of leverage do the packers have?

"They move up large in the college football playoff rankings coming out on Tuesday. Second Iowa Wisconsin, after what I saw from Iowa against perdue, I don't know if I can ever pick them. If Sean Clifford would have finished out against that game against Penn State, they would have lost that game too. Now they got blown out by perdue. Now they're at Iowa. I mean, at Wisconsin, Wisconsin to me, not as strong as they were, but they're a decent four and three team and they just be perdue at her do. They're winning games. And guess what? Somehow, this game right now is for like first place in the division. This would not Iowa really awful lot. I'm going with Wisconsin. I'm going with the badgers to win this game, I believe they win it. It can't Randle stadium. I don't have big faith in grand merge or patriots on the Wisconsin side. I don't think any of these quarterbacks are good. I think this will be a defensive battle of attrition. But I think it Wisconsin can put up more points in Iowa when they feel like it. Texas Baylor, oh, I've got to feel probably delusional. I'm Texas to win this one in Texas has let me down so many times, the Arkansas game and others, I mean, baelor 6 and one, but I've liked the explosiveness. I've seen from Texas. It's just him a hold onto a lead and keep it and win the game. I don't know. I think Steve's artesian can do it. I know the first year, you're building towards it, but you need key wins. This is a key win in a tough environment at Baylor. I like Steve sarkesian to get it. Georgia, Florida, arm rooting heavily. For Florida, miscarry, I want Georgia to lose. Having one loss on my record, however, I don't think that'll happen. Georgia has the best defense to me by far in the country. The defensive line is great. The secondary is great. Instead some benefits playing good. I don't think they need JT Daniels as the guy right now. They're running game as good. Everything's just complementary, and it'll be too much for Florida to overcome who has a quarterback situation of your own between Emory Jones or Anthony Richardson. So I think that'll be too much Georgia wins the game. Texas tech Oklahoma, I want to pick a globe and a win big, however, I've seen enough from Oklahoma this season to say, I don't know if you'll ever win big. I'll pick Oklahoma to win though. I don't care who's at quarterback spinster rattler kill Williams. It seems like they always pull the rabbit out of the hat. One last magic trick to win the game. That's what Oklahoma does and they've been doing it this year. I don't think Texas tech can upset Oklahoma. Even though one of these times I pick Oklahoma, they'll lose. I just feel it. Old miss and auburn, I'm surprised how much support is for auburn in this game. I know auburn's a good team, but to me, I've seen so many bad performances. But one against Georgia, you know, Penn State was decent and LSU. They could have lost, but to me, almost is a better team. I like Matt carral. To me, he's a favorite to win the Heisman. So I'm going with the better quarterback. I know it's an away game in a tough environment. Both teams are really looking to keep hopes alive. And the winner of this game.

"Know you're talk. Yeah i wonder what that gets. You give me a second. Go on per seat. I'll be listening. But i wonder indiana at maryland two teams that are struggling. The turps of ton of injuries Five and a half point favorites. I think i'm probably the hoosier. Just a wreck. Right now to the. I like the hoosier skin the points. Yeah they worry me because they've been really really bad and what happened there but it's just here's my advice for that one time deal. Don't gamble gamble got one. There's no there's no tell. Issue compelled to gamble on an. Here's another game i would say. Don't gamble on rutgers One and a half point favorites opened up his peckham at illinois. Blind eye coming off at the biggest win of the deal. The era in the nine over time high scoring twenty two eighteen game. This is going to seem very aver. But i'll take rutgers may to it's tougher you is online i fan. I don't like the next line either. Minnesota laying seven and a half north western and northwestern cats cats. I don't trust either. One of them. And i ate the hook i ate that was minus six and a half. Then maybe give me northwestern at home. I'll hold my nose and i'll take northwestern in dover do for for stinger aren't they do. I would sir speaking of stinkers this line stinks to high heaven purdue and nebraska nebraska now up to seven and a half point favorites. They were openness. Settle blue anybody out. But they don't win close games. I like nebraska and i would put him in a moneyline parlay but i don't know if i liked them enough. Lay the with that seven. What do you think might go on. Purdue just take to sell. And a half. I don't know the book does prejudice suck everywhere but when they face iowa is that maybe the the real thing here Yes i think they just have. Iowa's number certain teams figure it out in get it and that's one of them. Did you figure remembers there. Keep growing k. penn state at ohio state ohio state. Who's really clicking. But they haven't beat anybody recently. They've beaten bad teams. Poll like a drum like akron in indiana in Some other teams. But they're playing penn state penn state's kind of a hot mess right now. James franklin doesn't know who is playing. Did you hear that. He thought he was playing illinois again. He thought he was going to go to the big house. This weekend really needs the high. He wants out of there anyway. Ohio state is an eighteen and a half point favorite in columbus. This is i mean what worries me is. It doesn't make sense to to to go the opposite way but ohio state and you've been saying this all credit where credit's due. You've been saying this last weeks. I think while state lay the points. I think roland on a different level. I'm and is is sean clifford good. He's not good when he can't run. And that's what happened. Last week he could not condemning. The basically was to beat up that they just told me. You jangle go wrong and hurt. What did he hurt now. I had heard that it was ribs but somebody else told me might have been a hip but i thought it was ribs that maybe he.

"Get a better option someplace else. You're probably not going to play much here. And then you go on. So is he right with what he said? Yes, the roster sucks and need a lot of help and it's gonna take some time. Doing it in front of the media, having that the best of ideas. Yeah, that's kind of my thought was it was almost like he threw it out there to the media to send a message to all those guys that you might want to get your affairs in order. You know what I'm saying? If you want to play football, you're going to have to leave because you're not going to play here. And there's a portal. And we probably like you to just get in there so we can bring in players that we really want. You know, that's essentially what he's saying. So yeah, yeah. Hey, with all that being said though, I won't bet on Illinois because I'm not that dumb. But I don't know what. Yeah, let me know, and you know what, if God, if what's his name, Sean Clifford? I'm Clifford. If he's anywhere close to not being able to play, do you run him out there against the fighting line? No. Heavens, no. Because you got Ohio State. He's got yes. So I mean, and then that he gets but you know what? Illinois just lost their mill linebacker JK and his really good football player. They are struggling. I probably take it either way, but yeah, if Sean clippers playing, that's not enough points. Any more points. So I would go with Penn State. As an aside, by the way, Nebraska is not going to get to Bologna eligibility this year, aren't they? No. What are you just going to go? Hey, Ohio State, Iowa. Who else? Wisconsin. I think they've got perdue, and two. Yeah. Yeah, I think it's perdue Wisconsin, Iowa Ohio State. Yeah. Good luck. Hey, outfit. I'll tell listeners this too. Yeah, I would say that's frustrated and upset and mad about Purdue and what happened. We just got done talking about and we've talked about Minnesota in the past and obviously they are playing a little better now, but still the boat ruins not been great of late. Lost Illinois is just a dumb. Illinois is a dumpster fire. And it might be in me, it's just that program is just, it's going to take a long time to get that program back there. And then obviously everyone knows about Nebraska. So as frustrating as you get with what's going on here, your Iowa hawkes have won 12 over the last football 13 football games and are 6 and one on the season. So just keep that in perspective when you're ready to fire everybody and get mad upset and want to know why you can't have nice things. You have nice things. It's a nice thing right now. That's my only answer. Maryland, aunt Minnesota, gophers, 5 point favorites, that's a weird line. I'm on the golf this week. Yeah, there'll probably be a money line parlay with me. Yeah, I don't think they lose that game if they do lose that game. Shame on them and shame on PJ flex. So I'll go 5 gets a little funky. It does smell. Seems like it should be at least kind of cooked, right? And they're on the road. Yeah. Just what is it? Wisconsin, output, and this is the where to sign Wisconsin favorite by three points. I think Wisconsin went. I think Wisconsin wins. So it's weird though the line has not really budged all week. I thought maybe there'd be some perdue money coming in and hasn't happened. Hey Tom, you said perdue's the beginning of the podcast perdue has Iowa's number. They look really good against dial. David bell dominates Iowa. Dave bill's good against ceremony. Don't get me wrong. But they're not playing aisle. You know, there's just sometimes that happens. They lost to Minnesota went into Purdue and won. Exactly. I mean, don't get caught. I mean, as a person who covers eye and watch that game last week, it's hard to say, man, how they're not gonna do that to Wisconsin at home. But not a great football team and Wisconsin is still talented. Yeah, that why I'm simply because the let down and the fact that that line smells, I will hold my nose and I will bet on what doesn't make sense and I will put Wisconsin in a money line with somebody. I don't know if I like the three. Golf. Wisconsin in Minnesota. Moneyline parlay. There you go. Our good friend lane. Partake in. No, I don't want him to I get worried when he puts his hard earned money. He makes he's got to make a lot of money than I do. So I don't want him to lose it all. So last. Anyway, because another weird line with a ranked team on the road against an unranked team and the unranked team is a big favorite considerable favorite. Touchdown favorite Oklahoma state at Iowa state cyclones are a 7 point favorite. And Oklahoma state's 8th in the country. We're not talking about perdue being ranked 23rd. All of the states, the 8th ranking team in the country and they're a touchdown underdog at home. Undefeated. Iowa state wins that game, don't they? I think so. It's for October. You have to remember that. Hey, he broke out against Ohio State in 2018. That was his first game and he played well, and he's always does play well against them and it is October and he's playing. They're too good of a team not to have a signature victory and I feel good when this year. And isn't this it? Isn't this the game that they win and Jack price is going crazy? And things are right with the world for cycling. I think they're due for that, aren't they? Yep. What do you do? I don't know if I want to lay the 7, but that's another money Lion team that I like is the cyclones. And the beauty part of all this time is that for the first weekend in a long time, I'm not one Iowa City or to a to a baseball tournament or to a and you don't have to work because you're a bi week as well. And you're over under amount of college football bets, tomcat makes this weekend 6 and a half. I'm going to go under because I'm going to be at a wedding. Oh come on. Oh, that's disappointing. I'm gonna be in a wedding. My wife's cousin is getting married in Johnston and I was, so I'll be there on Saturday. Oh, so you're going to be in Iowa. Yes. With your phone on you. Yeah, but I'll be okay, weird. So yeah, bullshit. You'll be you'll be gambling on your don't give me that, nonsense. You'll be gambling. We'll talk next week and find out how many college football bets you made between a Friday night boredom of toss a little bit on some random games tomorrow night and then the Saturday games. You'll get to 7. I promise you. Baby. Maybe, maybe. So. All right, we gotta go. It's late. Yes. By the way, we're absolutely finishing up recording.

"51 points on old myths. And in my opinion, my actual thought was, do you understand how good George's defense must be? Because the same Arkansas team that put at 51 points in all this got shut out by Georgia's defense. They were like, oh, that's unbelievable. So this match Georgia's no joke, they're really good football team and I'm excited to see how they do the rest of this year. Now, number three, Iowa beat number four Penn State. Penn State quarterback, Sean Clifford, left the game early with an injury. When he left the game, Penn State was winning 17 to three. Now, Sean Clifford threw two interceptions sure, but his backup quarterback to Quan Robert Roberson, the quant Roberson did not play very well. And both Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford into one Roberson through two interceptions each. So yes, Iowa, between two quarterbacks IO had four interceptions in this game. But even with the Sean Clifford put up 17 points and had a 17 to three lead, so Penn State could not score without Sean Clifford in the second half, only three points in the entire second half. I just wonder man if Sean Clifford hadn't gotten hurt. I don't wonder this. I actually kind of believe, I think Penn State might have won. Him getting injured was a difference in this football game and I just man. It's such a shame. If Sean Clifford doesn't get hurt, I think Penn State beats Iowa. And Penn State would have been the NFA to team instead of. It's just an interesting fun little what if. Now, even though that happened, you know, I don't know that I always win. I think I always win as diminished a little bit knowing that the opposing team starting quarterback got injured. Still, though, I hope I see Iowa go undefeated. That would be very, very cool. I'm afraid that at some point this year I was going to slip up whether it's to maybe the Big Ten title game to lose to.

"Should and do do not always line up. And the difference between a national title season and a year where you have a really good year and you win a bowl game often is can you survive your bad game? Every year, cleansing Alabama, Ohio State every year, every team has a bad game. I don't care who you are, everybody has that one close game where you slip up a little bit, you miss a play here and there. A team keeps it closer than you're comfortable with. You have to win that one bad game. Every last year Clemson lost to Notre-Dame. Remember that? I remember that every year there's something like that. I am hoping this is not that game for Georgia. I want Georgia to go undefeated. I am rooting for storylines. I want Georgia, Alabama, SEC title game that will be really, really fun. But let's not let's not forget that auburn, and let's acknowledge how good auburn is. They could challenge Georgia here, player two goes the wrong way. You throw an interception, you get run or wrong route on third down, you muff a punt. If things go slightly in favor of auburn, they have a shot here. And so I am hoping and looking for Georgia to take care of business and dominate an opponent. But again, if things go the wrong way, this could be that one bad game a year that you lose for Georgia. Game number four Ho. Boy. Kinik stadium, game starts at 4 p.m., the sun will be going down. Number four Penn State at number three, Iowa, the hawkeyes, baby. This is a game, probably, man, I don't know. You know, I can't trust that I know tech Oklahoma's gonna be really, really fun. I don't really know how good George auburn is. It could go that Georgia wins by 40 points over auburn. I don't think so, but it could be. This is the game I can most rely on is gonna be really interesting. It's two good defenses. It's gonna be fun. It's gonna be exciting. There's no obvious mismatch here. It's a classic, Big Ten game, both teams are 5 and I do worry. And that worries the wrong word, I think that the thing to look for here is Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford, I worry he's gonna get frustrated because I always got a really good defense and he is a dynamic quarterback who's made some big plays. Having a pretty good year, like he's had bad years in the past of criticized him. Sean Clifford's playing pretty well this year. But really get frustrated against a really good defense and start to force to throw here and there, hold onto the ball too long. If that begins to happen, the game significantly tips in favor of Iowa. Iowa's got a quarterback, Spencer petrus, who is a game manager. He's not a star, but he's also not going to make that crucial error that Sean Clifford, I remember Minnesota versus Penn State. Was it last year? Was it two years ago? I think it was two years ago before COVID hit. Penn State, Minnesota, Sean Clifford had multiple really bad crucial mistakes 'cause he got frustrated and say good defense. How far has Sean Clifford come? Spencer petras is not going to make that mistake. He's got a game manager. He's boring to watch. Iowa's quarterback, but he's not going to have a game breaking mistake. I think that if he plays clean as no turnovers, then Iowa will probably win, but Penn State at.

"But now with him sidelined at least they have a capable. Backup in zach zodda. I watched cows on in the spring game paul. I think he's excellent. He's a really good thrower. So i actually think him being in the lineup against a team like arkansas might actually work to texas. And m's advantage because they're gonna live right now. It's probably going to have to be through the air that offense a blind the other day not great cows did not look comfortable at all. But let's also take last week against colorado with a slight grain of salt cows. Awda was getting backup repsol week and was thrust into a difficult spot at altitude which is even increasingly difficult on the quarterback especially when trying to push the ball downfield so take an push them to the side just for a half second. Let me talk quickly. Why arkansas difficult match for an wants to live on the ground. You're not going to be able to run the ball with a lot of efficiency against arkansas. I'd be surprised if you could even with arkansas's three down defensive line. they're heavy. they're big. They're difficult to move. And they're very sure tackles at the second level now at this point i haven't heard an update as to what's going on with their outstanding linebacker grand morgan. He was walked off the field with a lot of help on saturday night. So if he's back hoping that he is and this will be one of the better fronts. Sevens in the sec. But if he's out they at least have capable depth behind him with both henry and bumper pool. But if those two guys have one of them were to go down and they might run into some issues so they're good right now along the front. It's just whether or not they can sustain injuries throughout the course of the season which are to happen in the sec. Because of how physical play so starting lineup very good. The depth is what question at this point. They're not having to rely on a lot of depth because they are excellent to eat greg. What's your quarterback situation. Look like in knoxville for josh chappel. Well watching joe. Milton's increasingly frustrating. I don't really know how to describe what it was that i saw and we've talked about it. Throughout the course of last week and leading up to the game joe. Milton had hit three d. Balls three if he hits three balls. And look. I played against patent doozy. I know exactly. What does he wants to sell out. Get those safeties involved in the run game you got to throw it over there over his head if you can do that you'll beat them convincingly if you can't do that you're gonna get beat. Jovan didn't do very well in this deep balls. And as a result they lost by touchdown. Now hinton hooker gave them. A chance was a little shaky early. But he settled down as the game went along. What i wanna see moving forward. I think the quarterback competition should be open. Assuming milton's back healthy available moving forward. I'd like to see that quarterback competition opened up because if joe milton continues to overthrow deep balls. No one's going to catch overthrowing ball not going to happen at least if you under throw it. There's a few things that could happen. One can get pass interference to your receiver could go up. Make a catch on the fifty fifty contested catch situation or three. It's potentially going to fall. Falling complete underthrown. Deep balls are so much harder the defense and they are in the offense because the defendant never looks for the football so i think that joe building if he continues to overthrow guys he's going to have to get out to many plays being left on the field right now by tennessee off. It's just not that good. They're not good enough. Excuse me they are. They can be good. They showed some signs or some glimpses at times on saturday. They're not good enough at this point to leave that he plays in the field against quality competition. So i open it up on. Hooker did a good job in relief. And we'll see where they go from this point forward because hooker by all accounts not have a great camp but sure enough with the lights on saturday. He performed admirably. Give him a chance. Greg auburn has been flawless in two games. I'll be at the opposition. Their head to penn state this weekend. What's going on with brian. hartson's team and What does it look like saturday night up there. I actually really liked auburn. Chances paul and i kind of went this season thing man. That's going to be a tall order. really i think auburn has played tremendously. But he referenced. The competition right and it wasn't the best start on saturday night. It's it is what it is but let's just acknowledge what auburn's done. They have not played to the level of the competition. And there's something to be said for that. Because i saw a while at least in the gus. Malzahn era times before auburn played to the level of the competition. That's not the case this last two weeks so they left no doubt they went out there and they executed. They didn't do a whole lot. That was extravagant. In regards to their game plan it was fairly vanilla and they executed insanely high level. Go next great in the first week. Not as good in the second week but still showing signs of growth for where he was a year ago. The running game now has more than just one piece and take big. And i do not need more than one piece tank. Big is about as excellent a running back that you'll find in college football the office of line. This shown some signs of growth even though they haven't really been challenged to this point and then on the defensive side. I've been pretty optimistic with what i've seen so far outside of the fact that i'm not really at this point convinced that they have a super dynamic pass rush but that's okay. I think they match up pretty well. This weekend. penn state along the offensive line. Not great auburn. I think can get some push can limit what they do in the run game and i think auburn in the secondary matches a decent against what are pretty explosive wide receivers. Now sean. clifford's deal on a really hot hand. It'll be a difficult game and in bo. Knicks doesn't play. Well they won't win. It's really going to hinge on whether or not bow knicks continues to play smart sound football throughout four quarters on the road where your emotions are likely going to be challenged in the white house. So i like their chances. Paul actually i think they can certainly go on the road and get a win. But they'll even have to play better than what they've played in the first two weeks in order to do that because penn state is obviously a significant jump in competition. Greg is alabama hedged gainesville Help us understand. What's going on with the quarterback position under dan mullen. The most popular player on the team is always the backup quarterback in this particular case. It's understandable backup quarterback at least so far through the first eight quarters of the season. Paul has been pretty phenomenal. I don't really know how else to describe what we've seen from him. And i think the upside that the office might have with him under center now with emory jones. I think there's been a little bit. And i can't put myself in his shoes but i would assume that he's pressing a little bit prints. I remember the first interceptions. He threw it to the left side of fau game. That's just a complete force and there's nothing that would indicate why he should go there. It was a bad decision as bad. Read but i think it was in large part due to the fact that he feels like he needs to make a play because the guy that could potentially take his spot is likely gonna make every single time. He's on the field now. Dan mullen is notoriously loyal. And i think that that's for good reason. The net should give your starting quarterback and awful lot of hope and appreciation. But i think the opportunities to win with richardson at quarterback. This weekend might actually be a little bit higher than that of maybe emory jones. Because i think it takes a super dynamic quarterback play to potentially beat the crimson tide knowing. How good this defenses for alabama knowing how dialed in. They've been at times over the last couple of weeks. The quarterbacks can have to play absolutely out of his mind this weekend and it can be done for sure. We've seen it happen before a lot. Johnny manziel another. But i think that this situation. This matchup is going to require an incredible quarterback performance..

"That they looked at. They are on a different level. And I know last year, right? They lose Mac Jones. They lose the Heisman Trophy winner and Devante Smith, Najee Harris. Uh, defensively, Patrick's or 10 Barrymore. All that It shouldn't surprise people anymore. But it seems as if people were surprised how dominant Bama was up against Miami, where that was just a total ass kicking. I mean, literally doesn't matter who's trotting out there honestly, because not matter for them because they've got so many good guys in the tank. And then here's the even bigger difference maker to is not only I mean, they're the best team recruiting from high school, and then they develop the guys. But then all of a sudden, Nick Saban decides that he's going to jump in the portal and grab the Jamison Williams, who was at Ohio State and couldn't crack the lineup because there was so many guys and he's an instant difference maker for Alabama and their offense like that is where saving has the game figured out if he's always a step ahead of everybody else. When we look at Ohio State ask you how you think they'll stack up against Alabama this year. We're talking to Joshua Perry. How bout against Penn State who got the best of Wisconsin last weekend? In a sloppy game? We do see that matchup on October 30th. How would you think that would go down right now? You believe her in Penn State this year? So it's interesting. I've got Penn State as my second best team in the Big 10 conference right now, and I think they showed a lot of grit a lot of toughness, a lot of guts in that game specifically on the defensive side of the ball. They played 95 snaps on defense, and I've been in those types of dogfights before. That is not an easy thing to do. And they gave up a couple of plays, but they didn't give up a ton of place and they were timely in terms of taking the football away. You could tell that the point of emphasis what? I was surprised about it. I thought that they did a really good job against the direct runs from Wisconsin when they needed to get stopped. I believe that Penn State as a team on the defensive side of the ball in the trenches that is built to compete with the team like Ohio State. They've got some athletes up there so they can move around and do the lateral game and make sure that those guys can run. So when you play a team like Wisconsin, they can gas you a little bit, but they vote up when they needed to. We saw what they did in the back end. Offensively is where the question is going to be, because I think Sean Clifford has proven to us that he is who he is as a quarterback, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. They have to develop the run game, and they have to find schemed up ways to get Jahan Dotson the ball deep in the field, and that's going to be a difference maker. But right now to me that the second best team in the big 10 I think it is a little bit of a gap between one and two. But it will be an interesting game when they play talking to Joshua Perry from the Big 10 Network, the national championship, winning a linebacker at Ohio State under Urban Meyer. I got to get your thoughts on Iowa, Iowa State, Iowa last week took it to Indiana and Indiana. I had a really good showing the last two years. We all know this. The top 10 matchup. Everyone loves Matt Campbell. What determines what gives here between Iowa and Iowa State. Yeah, And I'll say this about Indiana to is. I thought that they played well, defensively, they gave up that awful run early on. It was just an uncharacteristic mistake. But outside of that they were pretty stingy, uh, against Iowa, and they took the ball away a couple of times, so give them credit. This is what I need to see is I'm a big believer in what Iowa did defensively in the first game. I think they've got some veteran guys out there who can make plays. I think they've got some young guys who have probably developed a little bit quicker than anybody anticipated. So they're going to be good. Probably can't count on two pick sixes, but you can count on them to be a disruptive defense. The offense is the big question to me and you look at all the points and you say Well, but you know you give the defense 14 those points. And then you say, what did the offense really do? And I talked about that 56 yard run from Tyler Goodson. And if you remove that their second longest play was only 24 yards. And so they need more explosion. And I'm trying to see if a guy like Tyrone Tracy Jr can jump into the game plan and be that defense that can take the top off of the defense. I'm trying to see what Spencer Petrus can do just in terms of extending plays and making some things happen. So that would be in my opinion. The difference maker is I don't think that Iowa's offense was really all that good in week one if they can prove that they can be more explosive. I think that will be the difference in the game and all that to say that this has been a great series this I hawk. Because out of the last 10 meetings, five of them have been decided by a field goal or less. This is going to be a fun football man. Unfortunately for Michigan, and he had a great start to the season and got hurt Ronnie Bell not going to be out for the season like last week, if you would have told me what's again. Are you looking forward to next week? I would say Washington and Michigan But because a lot of people thought Washington was a sleeper team in the Pac 12 Washington loses to Montana. There can only be bad things right? That happens to Michigan and this one Because if they lose, I would fire hardball on the field. It's interesting right? Because if they lose like you said that that is an awful situation if they don't win convincingly, it's still bad. And then if they win convincingly, they only beat a team that lost to an FCS a week ago. You know, it just takes all the shine off of the game, which I think is a shame because from what I saw a week ago from Michigan, it looked like they had as much fun playing football they've had in a while and they've got a new defensive staff in there. They're running some things that the players are excited about from talking to some of those guys in the preseason. Offensively, it looks like they're really trying to open up that playbook and they've got a young coaching staff, I think can really connect with the players on a different level..

It's radio. Nobody's going to fact check you. Yeah, factor. I think it was the men's swimming team at Wisconsin had snuck into the P a booth. This is back in, like with the early nineties or something like that. And they had they had played like House of pain. It was, like all coordinated what they basically got in there, lock themselves down and just started playing it. In between the 3rd and 4th quarter, and it just It just became a tradition ever. You know every every point after that, and I think it was against Purdue like a Drew Brees. Purdue team, and that's that's when it started, And it was all because of them like breaking into the PPA announcer's booth to do this so kind of funny that it's stuck. Everything is crazy. Shots out Detroit Vincent, By the way, you you was talking real bad, real bad to me. Real real mad here talking about you could cook better than me. You're showing your your skewers and all that stuff while I'm on air and you're talking about what the Badgers were going due to the Nittany Lions, But but we are baby. I know you're listening. Troy. We are we are I I love it, man. Can I? By the way can I defend the the gameplay? Alright, I know. I know All these people out there want, you know games in the forties and fifties. Let me tell you something. It was so nice to have a defensive football game for once. No score going into halftime. 16 10. That's old school football. And for everybody that complained that there wasn't enough offense. Look you had you had balls thrown down field. I don't know who the safety for Wisconsin. He had a bad couple plays in a row yet I'm not here to call anybody out on the air, but it seemed like he had a bad couple plays in a row. But there were there were passes downfield. There was some offense in that game you had. You know your special teams, gaffes and whatnot. But I thought the gate that is my perfect football for me. I don't need all the fancy stuff. Keep your your big 12 60 point apiece scores Give me the big 10 and a 16 10 game to play out on national TV. Like that all day, I will take how many entertaining like that was an entertaining game. They were They were in scoring position so many times and they jacked it up. I mean, you had a field gold. You got it blocked by 17. The drone fumbles Help. You have fumbles on down in the red zone they were given. They were running the ball effectively against us. I mean they were moving the ball effectively. Up and down the field and just couldn't get it in that to me is the type like I know I don't want them to be able to do that in the first place, right? It's like a great defensive scheme. You can't do it in the first place. But if you do what's the one thing they tell you, Brady when you when you're playing the game, the hardest place to be able to score is in that red zone because everything shrinks Everything is tighter. It becomes a phone booth type of deal, and it's like here we go. Who's going to outdo Who in the red Zone and Pence they won the red Zone game? It was I was happy. I was happy because a lot of the conversation I I had Coming into the year. Some of them were not glowing conversations about what our team was going to possibly look like coming into this season. Just because the last year Well, we you do know we had to number one draft picks off of that defense that are not there anymore that usually when you if you're not Alabama or Clemson or so usually when you have a team outside of like the most elite teams, and they have to number one draft picks or more on on the team. You are not going to be as good. You're not going to be very good. That defense looked way better now. Our offense has got they got to do better. And you've got to get Johann Dotson and involved and you just got it. Really, really figure out how you get him the ball. But otherwise, I mean, no, a cane and all those guys. I think they get going as the season goes. If they can get if they can get that offense to launch sooner than later. They really could. This really could be the opportunity. We come close to beating Ohio State We we probably come as close as anybody in the 10 to beating Ohio State. We generally give the game away where it will be up last year. Not so much, but the years prior to We usually give them the best game and and have an opportunity to win. This could be a year if they continue to improve. Yeah, I wouldn't see. But it could be competitive against Ohio State, especially the way Ohio State's defense looked at. I think my only concern with Penn State honestly is It's not even defensively, even though they got run on a little bit. It's their offensive line like that group was always the question that it made me feel like especially early in the game. Sean Clifford was was kind of running for his life. But You're not funny. By the way Linebacker you was very present man. Brooks that dude's start. Yes. Hit him. He was flying around making praise and Smith. Yep, but the secondary was was impressive. Jaquan brisker that we've talked about Kyle Hamilton's That was a heads up. Play by by brisker obviously to get the interception. You know what score there out of What's that? Lackawanna? Yes, like become the pipeline. You know who has a son playing safety at Lackawanna is that LaVar Arrington O be on the lookout state in West Virginia. Let's go to Wisconsin, Wisconsin came away with points and only one of its four red zone drive Saturday against Penn State. Nonetheless, they do fall to Penn State, Wisconsin, was ranked number 12 ahead of Penn State that was ranked number 19 and the Nittany Lions beat out the Badgers 16 to 10, rust or reality. For Wisconsin. What a boring football game. Another big 10 gets this unfair narrative about these rock fights, But quite frankly, it's Wisconsin, always in them. Wisconsin is very stout. Defensively. They like to manage the tempo and pace of a game. That's great. But at some point, give me a quarterback and go out there and make plays. Give me guys on the outside who can make moves in space and let me see a vertical down the field offense. Wisconsin doesn't have that and what it's been masked by for so long is elite running backs the latest one being Jonathan Taylor, who is there that Colts backfield making plays on Sunday? They don't have a big playback. They now have a quarterback who's even further exposed with a lack of that run game, And they don't have receivers targets to stretch you out. This team is boring to watch. This is what I expected from them. It's been a handful of years where it's been like this. Let's go to Wisconsin, Wisconsin came away with points and only one of its four red zone drives Saturday against Penn State. Nonetheless, they do fall to Penn State, Wisconsin, was ranked number 12 ahead of Penn State that was ranked number 19 and the Nittany Lions beat out the Badgers 16 to 10 rust your reality. For Wisconsin. What a boring football game and another big 10 gets this unfair narrative about these rock fights, But quite frankly, it's Wisconsin, always in them. Wisconsin is very stout. Defensively. They like to manage the tempo and pace of a game. That's great. But at some point, give me a quarterback and go out there and make plays. Give me guys on the outside who can make moves in space and let me see a vertical down the field offense. Wisconsin doesn't have that and what it's been masked by for so long is elite running backs the latest one being Jonathan Taylor, who is there in that Colts backfield, making plays on Sunday? They don't have a big playback. They now have a quarterback who's even further exposed with the lack of that run game, And they don't have receivers targets to stretch you out. This team is boring to watch. This is what I expected from them. It's been a handful of years where it's been like this. I just don't take Wisconsin for anything more than a solidly above average football team. Tell us how you really feel. Well, yeah, I mean, I'm just tired of it. I mean, The story and that one was in state pen staking a big win on the road. And maybe James Franklin has that squad back, but they looked atrocious offensively to this was two very good defenses. But you're not going to go with any teams truly being elite unless there's some sort of pulse on the offensive side of the ball, and we just haven't seen that it pains me saying about Penn State Sean Clifford their quarterbacks from our high school, he's a Protestant sin at E. ST Xavier. Neither of these teams look like they're legit. The Badgers ran 21 plays in the red Zone. They were held to just 31 yards on those. Come on, Come on. I mean, no good at all. "Nights in a row. The man had fended off the tenacious advances of grizzly bear that had attacked him a few days earlier at a mining camp. Some forty miles outside nome there was no way to phone for help but then help found him in route to a mission on friday the crew of a coast guard helicopter saw the man waving both hands in the air. A widely recognized distress signal. The helicopter's pilot said on the tin roof of a shack. Sos and helped me had been scrawled. The shacks door had been ripped off. The crew took the man to nome to be treated for bruises to his torso and a leg injury. That was not life-threatening. According to the coastguard so ended a week long ordeal that could pass for a sequel to the remnant in which leads. Leonardo dicaprio was mauled by. Computer generated grizzly bear at some point. A bear had dragged him down to the river. Lieutenant commander juried carbajal. One of the pilots coastguard helicopter said. He had a pistol. He said the bear kept coming back every night and he hadn't slept in a few days. The man did not identify. the coastguard. Did not identify the man who you were said was in his late fifties early sixties. Who had been stayed in the shack. Since july twelth on the small mining claim it was not clear how the man had reached the remote camp which had no cell service and is a river drainage area. While while i'd that there there's your story that could be made into a movie and this is A woman what last week. was pulled out of a tent by a grizzly bear and killed My goodness nature is something and you know i. I follow a guy on instagram. He's a photographer for sony. I've got a sony Eight seven or to have gotten into photography up all this guy. Dick's brilliant outdoor photography. He was on a trail. Yesterday and a grizzly bear got on the trail and started a now it was a a smaller bear thankfully But smaller grizzly bear. Yes but started following people and all the people were a little bit perturbed. It appeared though thankfully that the grizzly was just checking them out. But my goodness gracious These stories the the the part of this is we continue to invade wildlife habitat where people don't frequently go and we have so much more expensive media these days. We're covering this stuff. And but this story is just just amazing in the new york times day and i do gotta give him credit for actually really intriguing story when we come back sean. "Seven three seven four to five Real quick it's a programming note at the bottom of this hour of the program. That is about thirty five. After the hour sean clifford is going to join me. I realize none of you know who. Sean clipper is. I get asked constantly constantly about what we do on the internet to protect our kids to to make sure our kids aren't doing stuff they shouldn't be doing going down the rabbit holes of the internet where they can get sucked out in their their their mind pornography and the like. What do we do and over the years. I've endorsed not as ads. But just we use them in our house. A number products But some of those products are not as good as they used to be. And i'm always on the lookout for better stop and so shaun. Clifford is the founder of a company. Canopy and canopy uses will human monitoring and also Machine algorithms to not just protect your kids but you know occasionally your kids can go to a website that He seems to be family friendly. But you stumbled upon inappropriate pictures or some such in this company can't has developed technology that actually protects even they're using algorithms and stuff so that your kids aren't stumbling across accidentally nudity on a otherwise fine website in in the like And so i wanna talk to you about the product. Because i hear from people all the time now that their kids stumbled down rabbit holes on the internet and they've gone dark places. And what do we do now to protect our kids. And so some of the apps that i've recommended the past We still use like circle device in our house. But you know Circle markets with disney as well and i am increasingly mindful of the fact that some of these companies don't have my family's values and so they're allowing kids access to stuff that Other companies might not in canopy is a company that tends to share yours in my values. And therefore i wanted to talk to sean about his product. And what he does. They're not an advertiser on an ad..

"But like I said, we just got to break one of the week and we got to win. We've got to win a team of a game on the road against a great team this year. I mean, you're sick. You should not be rebuilding. You should be reloaded. You should have all your bullets on deck ready to do damage, And so that's my thing. You got to beat Michigan State. Ohio State. If you want to be happy with, you got to beat one of them. You got to be the right team on a roll, and you got to win the ballgame or or or how you say or bogie? But Michigan State You gotta beat them. It can't be them then, man, you might want to go back to the NFL College age, okay? So that's all I got, fellas, man. You guys have a good one man. Go blue. Alright. We're with you on that. Sean Clifford? Yep. Coming back. James Franklin at Ohio State. Not that he's the greatest thing. He's got a little mobility, Alright, and he's looked at times, okay, but he more experience coming back. They have a few guys that are that are coming back. So again. They've got a few guys that they're hoping can can turn out and they're hoping the same thing like you said. I mean, yeah, we we think that they feel better because they they beat us. But those Penn State fans and that Penn State program they do not have a great year, so they're looking Like Michigan to have a big bounce back this year. Yeah, they're talking about a white out in a deal breaker. Gotta beat Michigan. Yeah, to follow that one up and beat that one. They're probably talking about beating Ohio State to all right. We're talking about. We're dicing up the, uh, into the Theoretical schedule of next year and how it could turn out and just how could An eight win season be successful for Michigan next year. We're getting your thoughts on that. We got some crystal balls coming up at 5 40 on a defensive tackle that is in the transfer portal will do all of that that leeches in for Jamie Morris. It's Morris 15 measures and we continue taking your calls. Straight ahead here on the M Zone. This is the M Zone Another day, another unknown It could bring your biggest order yet, or a new cyber threat. Whatever happens,.

A two-day meeting today we're also watching for ADP's scout of, private payroll growth and sprint continues to gain customers Posting its twelve. Straight quarter of growth in phone subscribers and raising its, profit forecast Gina Cervetti Bloomberg radio Cloudy and seventy. Two cents Chuck, and Kelly quite a bit of drama in Schenectady yesterday on a couple of different fronts first, of all there was a a note found about nine o'clock yesterday. Morning outside the county building on avenue and it really. Caused a lot of trouble for almost, three hours they. Evacuated county buildings and it's gonna. County office, buildings close to traffic employees were evacuated Scotty county library vacuous this is sergeant met during significant. You, know. Obviously incident Due to the vague nature of. It you know there are several. Addresses that need to be checked for everyone's safety, and you have pretty much the entire police department here and like I said you know. We have canine officer here. In Schenectady but, due to the large scale, of this event we needed to. Call in canine officers from the state, police from Albany county from Saratoga county from Troy to make, sure that, we, can get this done in as much of a timely fashion as possible so presumably there'll be serious consequences if they found. Whoever left this, note was diagnosed they found about nine o'clock outside the county office building inferring some sort of, a threat so they were extra cautious this next story Kelly also. Out of Schenectady sounds a like a soap opera I'm, not sure where. The truth lies but there are a. Lot of interesting elements to the, story let's, say okay A few months. Ago a woman was arrested for. Violating an order of protection a and stocking and, a whole series of charges because it's alleged that she was in a relationship with a. Schenectady cop and he was. Married she's married, it did not end well, and she's accused of sending explicit. Photos of her private parts to the, cops wife and the cops wife went in this order protection, filed against, her And in protecting her and five other members of, the family so the woman was arrested so yesterday comes out that sees now filed a notice of claim against the city claiming that the cop. Allegedly had. The affair with his brother, is the police chief Clifford bright so he is accused him of going to the state police and telling her husband everything or Osmond supervisor right right Is your. Husband's a a state trooper. And so is the guy that clever told so she's alleging that he abused power and made he's he actually says that he made her look like a complete lunatic I'm gonna. Say maybe the foundation was already there we will see well so she's like filed, like a ten million. Dollar, claim Classic ten million dollars she claims that. Chief Clifford acted outside the. Scope of his employment defamation abuse, of power and says that he she. Called he calls her husband's boss at to. Say that she was having an affair with the with his brother and wow. So you have the chief Eric Clifford in Schenectady then Sean Clifford the I think he's the city's canine. Officer the brother of the chief he put out. A, statement says this is difficult time for my family I'm doing all. I can to protect them I sincerely apologize to. My family for. The, endorsement that this is brought them so quite the drama Hey get him what I I know you can't because it's all alleged everything. For, super quickly I mean I don't have a dog in this fight but it's like, deja vu, it seems. Every other week we wake up and there's like up the Rensselaer county DA's office missed another deadline and another bad guy may. Walk free as a result it's happened again lost, track of how many. Times does this happen but you're talking about a double murder suspect, now who's probably going to walk free because he missed. Another deadline there was a double murder long story short double murder in Troy they they've been to the grand. Jury. Twice to get indictments twice the judge said you're, missing some stuff? Yeah forty five days to go for a. Third attempt to get it. Done long story short forty five, day the forty five day period has. Now passed and the the defense attorney saying. Forty five day period past let this guy go so this has happened before. With a sex offender And it almost happened, with the, guy who bludgeoned to death in Lansing. Birds right they didn't. They didn't disclose that one of the key witnesses actually was involved, in another court, case is this. Guy and I don't, have a dog at, the, by either I? Don't live in Rensselaer county but from an outsider you now have sex. Offenders going, free and now would double murder suspect is, going to be back out. On the streets you don't deserve to hold that office if you have mistakes of this magnitude the only good news is that this incompetence the Rensselaer county DA's office. In this particular, case if I understand it correctly maybe I'll be. Proven wrong this guy there will be no Justice on these murder charges but I think he'll be deported so. At least you won't be, on our, streets, it'll be the murderer. Will be back on somebody else's streets but the point is that he's accused of killing two people at. A, pretty violent and brutal manner and up sorry we missed the deadline you know maybe, we should, invest in.
