"R. EWS homes and this community thanks welcome back into red bird so Sean Campbell X. Chris Raby hang out till eight o'clock Mike Anderson in houses well we just wrapped up the third episode of twenty eleven revisited the oral history of the twenty eleven cardinals and now we're gonna chat for a couple of segments with a couple of guys from the twenty eleven team is Kyle McClellan and Jason motte join us I'm going to hop on over to the technology of zoom to visit with the two cardinals what's going on that was how much is zoom in facetime I've become more prevalent in your lives over the last couple of months is the second time I've ever been on so I have no my daughter's been doing a lot for school and stuff like that but yeah we got a couple graduation things and stuff like that but it's been you know with with without it it at the V. AZ you know you have a Senate seat someone in contact with people so spin a spin a good a good tool to have during this your kids are done with school thankfully but that zoom meeting up there was more hectic and frustrating trying to coordinate meetings between the two kids and all the things they had going on but I think a lot of people are realizing they can utilize this is a great tool going forward maybe it you know for some use it expose it I know a few other things I'm involved in that kind of figure out ways that they can they can use it Chris Mann your doctor several times you know over this and but I'm ready to get back to face to face that's for sure yeah I'm wondering both you guys do so much with your foundations and you have so many people that you work with and that work for you and all different entities that help you do what you do to help so many people so again just the last couple of months I can't imagine it's been easy what are the challenges of trying to navigate day to day as there been anything that you've learned any silver lining in the process and how you have to adapt I would say I'm not a whole lot of silver linings it's been it's been rough on the nonprofit space you know it and it's hard I mean everybody's going through it so you obviously sympathize with all the people that are dealing with whether they're dealing with a virus of the repercussions of it financially and and it's not just financially but dealing with you know kids being home and and schedules just being racked through an adopted out all these new new things and and then the nonprofit space is kind of at the bottom of that once people you know right now they're they're they're really focusing on making sure that them in their families are secured and and don't know how long this is gonna go on and you know donating is that for a lot of people is gonna last summer mine which is totally understandable on our side you know there's a sensitivity to it as well I mean and some of the stuff we're doing in north Saint Louis's is coping affected Haiti not necessarily we are starting to see some cases there we have two cases at our hospital but you know you there's a sensitivity to what people are going through and going out and asking for money in times like this is is really difficult but yes Jason I know that the people we serve are still going through issues as well it you know they're still battling cancer in Jason's case ours is already and instability of the home front and thankfully in our Saint Louis I we are are or a social worker that's working with the families continue to be there and be there for these families that is really difficult times and leave them throughout through it and you know from us is organization really to stand still there's not a whole lot we can do we're we're doing Zune meetings once a week just to kind of touch base with each other R. Benson fund fundraising waste pregnant so there's a lot of your challenges and and uncertainty on her end of that as well so make sure she's safe and and not at risk so it's it's a it's definitely been a difficult few months for us yeah I'm sure that silver lining Jason to be a tough term right now in the midst of this but does it help reinforce why you do what you do when when times are tough and and put into perspective the people you're helping and what they deal with your round quarantine or not with some of the things that we've complained about it last couple months yeah definitely mean you know with with some of our foundation in particular you yourself with your host battling cancer man and there's people that you know they may be you know hello I mean Bevin I guess this call isolation you know like they'll be like cater the they'll have a chance transfusion now this that going through chemo going through this and all this other stuff and it kind of got to stay in the room stay in a hospital room staying here for a week model right out so no the germs get into China you know because they're needing systems down so I mean there's a lot of things that a lot of people we're helping out with our foundation can you go through anyway especially with this this kind of magnifies that because I mean you really can't be around people that made you know have have this you know how you know the school nineteen all this other stuff going on so you don't have anyone like Kyle said you know the system itself we try to move around our our band so is that a woman in Saint Louis we spoke of already done in April you can add to push you back to August August thirteenth there in a way so we kind of move a couple things out we're doing a little thing now we're we're starting like yeah we're going to a virtual five K. I'm like a fun run that we're doing is gonna start June nineteenth through June twenty eight it's gonna be a virtual thing is ten dollars a sign out and it is also used for doing that sign up you can run your race wherever you run in Saint Louis you run it in Florida you run in New York you know whatever and you go on download the app do it you know as a way to just kind of kind of keep people involved and what you know it's a we're still you know this all is going on we're still trying to do what we do as a foundation to help those who are battling cancer because like I said people he was still going through the exact same thing whether you know all this you know nineteen in courts and all that stuff going on the the people that you know our foundations both healthy you know still so something they're going through so we we're we're still continuing to do what we can to help those people in any way that we can brace for impact also Jason Mott foundation if you can opt out of the website social media even as you know Bucks are tough right now check out what they're doing on social media and what's coming up yeah it's crazy to be almost into June and not just not a baseball but not have any sports and you know the biggest I guess excitement has been a couple of these golf matches over the last couple of weeks as you guys think about your playing days and even outside your playing days just being creatures of habit routine even now with your kids routine you know having sign posts from the school year to the summer how do you keep yourselves saying and as the athlete inside of you kind of as a brain turning day to day what do you think this would be like to have complete uncertainty on and when you're gonna get back onto the field Jason for you and and and the kids you coach that the guys you coach what's that been like with the communication like what's the frustration level so crazy that you mention that we just started I guess I guess you're in you're in Memphis Tennessee where they think in cities too of whatever we can do and stuff like that so we actually started right practice stuff like that last or I see yesterday in there I see like so say that we haven't seen the kids in about two months we could organize anything at the high school at Christmas I hope not with us so we can really we talked and said we need to throw you this kind of similar programs to do stuff with and hoping that they were doing something because a lot of playing summer ball either way we're just open that they weren't like sitting at home for two months Hey I gotta go I'm gonna go play summer ball there's going to be college scouts there's gonna be this money like well okay oh oh no my arm fell off like it has no no not again you know it's like well you haven't you haven't done anything two months so so I said we were hoping that the kids that we can get a little program we couldn't orchestrate anything back Hey I meet you here to do this do that so that that part was stuff you know what you're you know some high school is still good okay Hey let's be accountable we gotta do this but like so we had our first practice yesterday did they took some ground balls that some stuff that was not not very pretty you know two months of not seeing a ground ball and doing stuff we do like a little but B. P. type game today which went a little bit better and then we actually have some games this weekend which which are crazy even think about what I see with that being said everything we're all going to be at the six feet apart yes this ring on hand sanitizer no you bring your own water bottle you do this there's no food there's no seeds there's all you know like in the kids are gonna be like spread out all the way down the line like inside outside the dug out all the stuff from my mate is just it's gonna be it's gonna be something completely different but that's kind of what we're dealing with here I will that and it's definitely something something different that I've never seen like that we are still today and the guy was going around with the the the line you know I'll make the lines or whatever and he's walking six feet spray it walking under sixty so I K. you've got your box stay in your box don't do whatever so excited it's gonna be interesting to see tomorrow we have a game how it all goes and you know I mean I know the major league level are talking about like this alternatives to people throw it out I mean I still you know to see if they have an unlimited number of baseball's high school some college well good way ninety nine I would land in the river it also rocks fine you know so that that part of the M. C. mobility so we are kind of here getting back to normal a little bit and and some so so we'll we'll see how it all goes Kyle E. as a player rap I want you to kind of maybe putting a perspective for fans because fans see the wheels start turning we get excited when we see reports about you know sports coming back and then there are reports about the negotiations and the business part of it right and players obviously you guys have families there are concerns obviously about health and safety and there are things that need to be figured out from a financial and compensation standpoint you understand if fans get discouraged and say I'll come I just don't play these guys make millions of dollars explained to us you know I know you're not the bargaining room at the table right now but just everything that goes into decisions that are made in the business of professional sports the business of baseball why this takes time and and what the process might be like right now but I think that the first thing is that you have to take that and I understand the fans perspective of when you hear millionaires and billionaires organized that's what you hear people say right like nobody wants to hear that and I get that but you also have to understand when you're inside it you have to take the approach of this is no different than anybody else's financial situation so whether or not you have an hourly job you have a salary job you want to make sure you protect that you get what you think you're worth this if somebody you know this is like when a guy leaves for free agency and I said how could you do that well if you worked at at one location and you know the city next door are the the the the city next to that came and said Hey we would offer you an X. amount more of course you're gonna go take it in and say you you sometimes have to put those numbers out and I didn't realize that it's it it all gets back to the the basic economics of of how things work I think I think it will be for the players in a really bad spot I think they'd beaten to the punch in terms of making it public in saying that with the players you have to take a cut because we're doing this on the other they were they were the most aggressive and put it out there to where the players are immediately on a defense and an association's rob Manfred I've been at the table with him he's tough he's very tough it's very cutthroat and and he's putting the.

I because I call him Allah wishes and that's not as middle name. But it's he called Daniel Theodore isn't Patrick Ewing. Middle Name Allah wishes. Yeah from what I remember. It goes back at least ten years ago. He was goofing. He's talking about different centers he goes. You said something about a senator. He wanted to play with like. It'll be Patrick. Allah wishes ewing. We thought he's making that name. But that's his name but he would do it for emphasis. And then you asked about another player. And he's like a William Horatio Walter the UCLA legend. And it's not horatio throw middle names in there and then you guys started doing it back and forth. Yeah I was Theodore and then he was Allah wishes. I have no idea fritzy. What'd you learn? Today Reggie Miller shocked and thrilled here. Mj was stepping away from hoops for awhile to play baseball. "To the Cambier morning. Sean Campbell, San Francisco to San Mateo, these sports leader. Hey, fitz. First of all, good morning. Second of all, thanks for getting up early and third of all, can we open your files with Draymond green sound bite? All right, buddy. You probably heard it, but I want to just let this set the table. So here's Draymond before fits. No, no Gaza hurt by his loose. So I'm so people are happy to hurt. We just got hit a battle. When the next gay go back Toronto win game five comeback Ogle when game six. Celebrate fund ahead dare. It is you could take it from there. But agree raging cockiness that will inspire the raptors or the serene cool of a champion fits well with the warriors to game five in Toronto and I'm going to a reason. I've always thought that would be the game that defines the series. You guys know we, we picked the warriors and six close out oracle with the championship. And I still think that's going to happen. So I'm right with dream on, you know, and mathematically, now for it to happen, everything he said, has to work out to get it, you know, rally up, and then find a way to win Friday, then you get the two days off until Monday for game five and then come back and, and try to close at oracle and the Hollywood story beginning so it sounds good to me. You know. And I think he's trying to speak it into existence. And then why not? But you'd have to have a game where the the raptors don't shoot at the left last night. Tomato was absolutely incredible. And I don't know that I've seen too many games where seven guys scored for team. And every player shop fifty percent or better insane every player. Yeah. Kidding me. So you give the raptors a lot of credit. I mean, the warriors were depleted down and they battled. They showed a lot of heart and they were competitive. But every time they made any kind of move the raptors killer shot after killer shot after killer shot and it wasn't one guy or two guys or three guys was all of the raptors. And so they they're up to one. They deserve that to one lead. And we'll see what happens Friday because going down three one. You know, you wouldn't put it past the warriors, but man that would be really, really difficult. So Friday becomes kind of everything until Monday to comes everything. That's right. They should know no passed on the weekend, they'll play Friday night, and they fly over the weekend of Toronto. Game five will be in Toronto on Monday night fits how much of the of the Toronto shooting was just, you know, Danny green had the game of his life, there six threes. Kyle Lowry arrived. Threes. How that was them. Just having a magic night shooting. And how much was what we. We see when the warriors don't have looney and clay and K D on D. Yeah. No. I mean, here's the thing, though, is that, you know, I would say dream on four's best defender Andres, the second best defender, clay is third Kevin is fourth and loonie is five, so you're missing three of your top five defenders so that's going to be a problem. But this wasn't like, oh, that was a terrible rotation. And this guy was wide open and he buried this shot. This was people flying at van bleed and any hits, a killer shot. This was Lowery. You know, one step back durable railing at three. This was wait two. Words cut it to seven comes down right in someone's face transition three like you know, I would say you're depleted. So yes, you're missing some quality defenders, but the raptors hit amazing big time shots. And so, you know, I'm giving Toronto seventy five percent credit for just excellence offensively. And then twenty five percent to be game one there was a lot. Out of warrior, you know, it was just weird this guy. Why isn't he here? Why is that location? What happened here last night? It was just the raptors big time shooting performance. And really, you know, a great game by Toronto. I mean that's the seventeen threes shot fifty two percent. They limited the worst under forty percent shooting and that skewed because it was Steph against the world. But. Said they deserve to be up to one but everybody, you know, in a warrior uniform and works for the teams kind do the whole going to be a long series. And I don't think they're wrong fits heard your dear colleague, Jim Barnett sand last night. He said, you know what? This game showed me, this game show me, the words are a better team because without clay, and Kevin Durant and kevon looney. They couldn't shake the warriors. True. And I was thinking, and then I went over to NBA radio and there was a guy saying the the raptors were never threatened in this game not at all. It was a comfortable win. There was zero threat level, which side do you take on that one? L watch the game. There was it was a comfortable win. I mean when it was the warriors were down seventeen with three minutes left. And I'm like, okay, pull everybody, you know, they're down seventeen and Toronto, just had a great day. All of a sudden wars are ten and you have a, you know, it's going to go. Single digits to eight and then, oh, van bleed hits the three of the century. So it's, you know, again everyone wants to do the recency bias and then do these, you know, bold grand proclamations Toronto's played really well in game one in really, really well last night. And they got both those wins if Toronto was this juggernaut that can't be handled they wouldn't have Gaqid away game too. But they did you know and so the, the wars are down monster players. I don't think that that's any debate but those monster players aren't done for the year. Toronto may get a get a good. Look at a few of those guys coming up soon as Friday and, and that may make a little bit of different looking at the big men last night for Golden State, and it felt to me like bogut had a more positive impact on the game. You don't really in every facet then then to Mark his cousins, not knocking DeMarcus cousins considering what to gave the warriors in game two but, you know, the last night's evidence. I mean do you think maybe Kurt decides to put it back in the starting five for game four? I don't know. Paulie to me. I think with DeMarcus is injury. You've gotta get him warmed up in a revved up as much as possible, and he had an off game and did not play well and bogut was excellent. So that's a good sign and Bogue says adjusted on the coming in off the bench and coming over the second unit and things like that. So I love that. He played twenty minutes and I agree with you. I thought he was really good. So I, I would anticipate as DaMarcus add, you know, the eight minute kind of I'm played two months. Game have the other worldly game to had kind of a clunker last night that he'll be better. I think Andrew, you know that this will still be like the tag team thing. Jordan bells gotta be a lot better. You know, I know I was tough. He, he, he came in and all the quarter ending situations and got lit every single time it was just. Oh, ached for loonie, so that may give direct go more opportunity. But you just you got a lot of minutes. I mean, between, you know, Katie clay and Kvant. I mean, that's, that's ninety hundred minutes of playing time, you know, and probably sixty points so you know, you're going to be down looney know that, but those minutes are gonna get eaten up, you know, by claiming Kevin, when they return. So, you know, I I if Toronto shoots the way they did it will take an incredible warrior effort. I just like I said seven guys scored for the raptors every guy shot better than fifty percent. Everything was going in last night. Every team threes are important because it wasn't like Toronto, you know, backdoor cuts for layups and this and that bombing freeze and railing them. And so that gets a little demoralizing, the interesting part was that the warriors, never really every time they got down seven ten twelve fourteen whatever they always. Had a push the come back and that was kind of the indomitable spirit of staff. And if you're Toronto you had only curry really to worry about, and he, he got forty seven on you. So that was the other thing is they never took Steph away, and that's a good sign. I think that's a good sign on Ford, because, you know, steps confidence levels off the charts, and he has a few more friends to play with that could be a different result Friday night. Obviously the warriors would like to see Katie back for game four. Now the media was talking about yesterday. I thought was interesting. They think that katie's not playing because his agent is advising him not to play. Specially if he isn't ready or makes his calf worse if he does play any truth to that. Or what do you think about that? I think that's idiocy. Why why would he not play now? I mean he's, he's gonna his next you know, regular season games going to be in October. You know. So hey, I'm in the NBA finals, I've been to time finals MVP been an MVP of the league chance to put another ring on my finger. You know, I think I think I won't play sit out. I mean, come on. I mean, there's sometimes it's you get this, when you have the Super Bowl and World Series and things like that he just got a level of stupidity that, that gets repeated sometimes and pullback for six seconds and use your brain like no muss thing I've ever heard. So, you know. Ranches is working as hard as he can't to get back to play. You know, you'd think he's flying Toronto and hanging out in the locker room and coming out and high five as guys and stuff because he's not engaged, and he doesn't want to go play basketball, 'cause it's the one thing in his life that gives them joy. I mean gimme a break. That's people. They did get a clue every once in a while. Yeah. Fits decimating that take nuclear style. Hey a little bit before that you go on staff. I mean what the eighth greatest single game scoring Farmington NBA finals history. We're talking like this is like tall tall. Like the thinnest of air up there. Mount everest. That's a bad analogy because they're dying amount ever day. How about Kilimanjaro? Are we going down? That's safer. Only though of the top eight, only he and LeBron last year's fifty one came in losing efforts, but, you know, you've been watching Steph forever. You're close with Steph your feelings on what he did last night. Oh man. Well, I, I really I knew it would outs back from the game, too, 'cause whatever the dehydration or flu, whatever you going, you know, he was out of sorts in that game. And I knew he would he would shoulder the load as far as okay? Can he keep them around in case of Kinnear, coin cook or cousins or somebody has some incredible game and so early on? He was the lifeline. You know, you're looking at fourteen point stuff, I was twelve of them. But what I love was just the relentless, I'm gonna shoot threes. The line, you know, I'm gonna try to get fouled. I'm gonna just he was everywhere and playing at an energy level. That was inspiring. I mean, that, that's why I think the warriors just never tip the king and just kind of rolled over because he wouldn't let them do it. And so for Toronto. Other retirement. He's weaving through three guys and I'm thinking, they're sending the kitchen sink at him. And it's Danny green is fan belief that's all over them. And here's Kawai and, you know, wait. They got a shop locker waiting on them whatever and he still was scoring. So I just thought it was great. It wasn't some, you know, ten for thirty five shooting night, he's still was very, very efficient. So, and then he also had, I mean you have the I didn't even know what you want to. Call the Quin cook, you know, Lowery smashing him where Steph hit a three that got taken away. I mean that, that would have been a fifty point night. So he was he was fantastic. So that's a good sign for Friday because I just think Steph is is at that elite level in a game where Carolina would have been totally focused and taking him out and they couldn't and so hopefully that.

"O'clock tonight. It's going to be an intense month of negotiations over the city's ninety two billion dollar budget. WNYC's bridge. Bergen reports city council speaker, Cory Johnson says he's in it for the long haul. Even if mayor de Blasio is on the campaign trail, speaker Johnson is ready for a fight going to be a tough budget negotiations. He says funding for libraries, social workers, and budget reserves a role major priorities for the council, and he's not going anywhere. No hurry, there's a lot of things that need to get done. Well, the speaker says the mayor takes his coals when he's on the road, not everything can be done, remotely think it's very hard to run for president when you're mayor of New York City spokesman for the mayor says he's committed to reaching a budget deal by July first and labor and environmental advocates are pushing for a New York City council Bill, that would reform the city's private trash collection industry. The Bill would divide the New York City area into twenties owns and have the city determine which company can collect trash and recyclables in each one Sean Campbell is. H W A homework dot com, and Sean hallmark of America's better partner of ours. For a long time. You guys come on the show before and homework. Do is something that definitely submits conceptions out there that people have and their you know, there's a lot of valid reasons. Why home should really consider it? I think it's definitely not just for first time homebuyers. But it is a great product for first time homebuyers because it allows them to to not have to worry about budgeting for some of the, you know, repair items again that can hit them after they become a homeowner and they're responsible for those things for the first time. First of all thank you for having me here in. Yes. A home warranty. Is a great way to absorb some of the costs. If some something major in the home goes goes wrong, and at H W, there's different levels of plans, and they cover different different things. So and I think one of the things about home warranties that a lot of people just don't expect her prepare for is is the ability to save on those repair costs. In addition to not just getting them handle. But say you buy a home warranty. And then you're a goes out you pay a one time fee, and if the AC isn't fixed it's replaced. I mean that that's something that is right. There are people out there that are warranty people, and there are people that are aren't, but for people that are that are conscious of you know, what I don't have two thousand dollars. It's a great way to get the seller to pay for the whole Mortiz part closing costs. So so in essence, it's not coming out of the buyers pocket, and then they've got that coverage for thirteen months. So that they're able to have peace of mind about things could pop up in. 'cause. Him financial hardship. Yeah. Absolutely. And and that's one you mentioned that thirteen month warranty, which is a h w offers that for thirteen months as well. As like, you said, it's a great way to absorb some of the costs. Major appliance AC is big here in Florida and repairs are costly on the heat now for the cold. Hey, a heat issue. I kick my heat on it. It worked. My house April of seventeen and I got the thirteen month warranty with H W A, and I believe we negotiated and where the seller pay for it. And I actually used three times so one benefit that that you don't even really think about and it's not something breaking, but you can Ricky all the locks with the H W a home warranty, which is awesome because that can get expensive. But I had some AC issues. I had to pay the deductible, which I believe was one hundred bucks and then both of my garage doors, actually end up going bad as well. So got. Openers openers the the Motors went bad and both of them almost at the same time. So same adoptable perfect case because those the garage unit itself, and then installation, probably talk five hundred bucks right on each one of those. I mean, it could be a great way to save some money. And I think again, there are a lot of buyers that makes sense for I think first time homebuyers. It's a no brainer. Because a lot of times first time homebuyers. They're put no money down there or limited funds down. You know, they're they're not used to being a homeowner. So they're not handy. So having that that you know that warranty in kind of the background says something does go wrong gets handled. And absolutely if you've never owned a home, you have no idea how much repairs can can add up and they add up quickly. When when something breaks, I think it's a great option for investment, homeownership think it's great for everybody. And I was when I bought my first home twelve years ago. Whatever it was I was the one. And my agent at the time begged me to get one. And I was like no I'll never use it in that first year. My AC went completely out and my refrigerator. So it ended up costing me. I think it was close to six thousand dollars to replace both of those when I could've got more. At the time. It was like three hundred bucks. But that was the first time home buyer. I didn't think I could afford the extra three hundred dollars. Then I ended up, you know, they cost me six and said, yeah. Made the same mistake in the past two. Yeah. I think, you know, another another reason it comes into play, you know. And I think this is just something that that. That's just logical. When you buy a home there. There's always hidden things that the inspector didn't find. You know? And and you know, I think the the home warranty relationship we've had with home warranty of America. They they do a great job of of coverage and helping people, and you know, there are times when something was clearly bad that where you're like look now this was shot before he bought the house. But then there are times where things just, you know, maybe got missed looked okay. And on the inspection report pass, and then they fail and you guys step in to cover it. And I think that's where the consumer wins in those circumstances. And then you guys get those consumers to say, you know, what I'm gonna I'm gonna keep keep keep renewing this, right, right? And the short time I've been with the company that the I'm impressed by how out of the way they will go to make things right? When when when there is a claims, there's also some flexibility with contractor selection too. I know that you guys are always looking to. You're always asking us for. Hey, look, who do you, you know. So there's certainly a chance if you have somebody that you know that. It works on your house. There is a possibility that they could be again, it got to be licensed insured. You can't this can't be your uncle's brother's. Cousin? I mean, it's gotta be like, I mean, it could be if you. But it can't be just like the handyman. You know, it's got to be like, you know, professional legit thing. So Sean, we appreciate you jumping on the show with this. "But there are just like, well, basically, the book is called a recognition of being because she was having a conversation with an elder and named Sean Campbell star. And there was when she was starting out. She asked her about the role of native woman, and she replied that that phrase didn't sit well with her. She's like, she's I have difficulty with that word role actually said she gets older, she sees it as a recognition of her existence that the her a recognition of her existence as a native woman is what her role is like just being recor just being recognized for everything that she contributes community as a native as a native one rain, and that's just like that like that. It's like Oprah would say that's an moment. Like, you have something clicks in your brain. And everything flip everything kind of flips around. And it just changes the way you. There was like right at the beginning of the book. So you get to read the book through that kind of like point of view. But this there's this one passage where she talks about how her white passing nece has like has helped her she says her year. Oh, Canadian heritage is she's I cannot overlook the significant part of my year, Canadian heritage as the privileged because of the privileged as a formative me even something like writing this book is related to the privilege that comes out of my race, my class education and upbringing. She was talking about this with another elder about how another elder who who's also later skinned. And they were talking about that phrase that you hear often psycho. But you don't look Indian like white people will say that. I've heard a million times. And then that like that elder was in the presence of another elder with a white woman, and the elder just kind of like, you don't need to respond to that. I have plenty of things to say. So the other replied to this white woman. She's like she's that way for a reason she can go to places we cannot go. She can speak in places, we cannot speak. We have always had people like her to do the work. We cannot do and people have been people. I cur have been part of our culture ever since time began. And it just kind of like. It flipped the way that I see myself in this role because a lot of the privileges. I've been afforded especially in in the fashion industry is because people could consume my work without having to look at my race. Chime Mike not having to look and not having to sift everything that I do through this lens of like, oh, this native, news native, nece and. And now like I have these words to like to almost defend the reason why didn't use my native heritage in my work from the beginning. I I knew like, I it's not that I've never been ashamed of my native nece, and I've said this many times, but I knew if I was going to make it in fashion. This like my nineteen year old brain knew that if I was gonna make it I would need to prove my worth as a designer on my own merit..
