"Welcome back to the GMC weird news podcasts so cottage cheese. some people are fans. Some people are not we once had an intern at a place where I worked high school intern nicest sweetest kid but he it was just horrified by the thought of cottage cheese so one day when we were out to lunch he and another coworker ordered some cottage cheese just because neither of them had tried it so I commend them for trying it it's kind of. I don't know if it's an acquired taste or if it is just something that you either love or hate but this is a cottage cheese tub that has gone viral not viral well actually it might be viral for more than one reason because it could be filled with you okay so suspect. Tyrian virus but work with me here but it went viral online because it was left in an office fridge for seven years. That's a health hazard people uh-huh so this is the you know we when when you think about office refrigerators you tend to think about things that get left that don't that are in thereafter passed their expiration date you get the the snarky notes about don't steal my food then you get the people who steal the food the office refrigerator as a place of much drama drama but this story is from a Reddit user J. B. J. G. Bones also known as Julia from mm Philadelphia and she shared the office legend. That is a tub of pineapple cottage cheese okay. Does it have chunks of pineapple in it. I I would assume so I mean cottage cheese often served with fruit but I didn't realize that they made panapa cottage cheese. I don't get out much so this little tub of cheesy. Weirdness weirdness has survived in the Fridge for seven years. Now why okay anyway happy the anniversary to this little tub of pineapple cottage cheese. It has now survived seven years in our work fridge without being thrown out. I take a picture of it each year. Julia Julia wrote and there is in fact a picture of her with this each year so Julia said that her secret is that the cheese is indeed hers I. She says I bought it back. In twenty twelve opened it tasted it hated it and threw it in the fridge so apparently it's low fat and has weird fake pineapple in it. Okay it managed to get pushed to the back. I forgot about it. No one touched it and then sure enough. It managed to survive. I have a whole year with no one touching it. Then it became a joke no one wanted to throw it out. Have they open it. Recently other cheeses in a tub with the lid on the seal has been broken in but it's never the perpetrator of any weird odors we moved offices earlier this year and now we have more room to fridges no smells and where a happy family early besides everyone respects the cheese is has been there a long time. I admire their commitment but wow again. I'm just wondering mcadoo. Does there's no smells clearly. They aren't opening it. I'm thinking because it would definitely smell if you opened it. Julia is waiting the right time to open up the cheese or throw it away either when she leaves the job or hits ten years residents in the fridge or maybe I'll bestowed on another colleague colleague. She adds the laugh. I have opened it since I bought it so I wonder what it looks like inside. My boyfriend is incredibly against it staying in the fridge at home so it's got a bunch on just post it notes saying don't toss and everyone here in the office knows not to touch it and there's a close up of the cottage cheese container with the expiration expiration date which was September seventeenth twenty twelve wow non-fat pineapple cream cheese or cottage cheese interesting. The first comet makes me laugh. I'm depressed to think that a container of cottage cheese lasted longer at a company that I ever did. Oh sorry that is sad but also kind of funny. Finally we shall talk about the fact that today is talk like a pirate day every year. September nineteenth talk like a pirate day and I was never fully sure why Y it was September nineteenth but it turns out that this was created by to Oregon two men from Oregon Ghent to Oregonians and they created it because they were playing a game of racquetball. The of course doesn't that make sense so this is from Albany Oregon and the holiday which is known as talk like a pirate day was started during a game of racquetball between two friends the quote is we started taunting each other with pirate phrases like our that'd be a fine cannon aid and you slapped that one off the off off me missing mast. Maybe can't even say that we had so much fun doing this game with pirate words that we decided there ought to be a a day in every one day and every year where every ban woman and child is encouraged to talk like a pirate said Mark Mark Summers otherwise known as Captain Sloppy. It's and there's a picture of the two of them in there pirate gear looking very festive and entertaining so he he and his friend John Bauer old jumbo kit as he's otherwise known played the game on June sixth but new since it was d day that day was off limits so we settle on September nineteenth which was my ex wife's birthday. We weren't being mean. The date was just stuck in my head said Summers and it stuck for around. I mean for the first seven years. The holiday was observed by close friends. It was really simple. It was like about four or five friends all knew about it and we would call each other at work and talk pirate day and go and hang up and that was the extent of talk like a Pirate Day back then seventy seven years later they pitched the the idea to a columnist at the Miami Herald after his column was printed the holiday took off pretty soon mark and John or getting phone calls from all over Summers said we're getting interviews with media outlets from Australia to the BBC New Zealand Ireland Denmark South America. We were headed. We're hearing from everywhere from people who were just excited to be playing pirate. Never expecting it to become what it is today. Summer says he's happy to be part of of a somewhat cult holiday. We gave the pirate community a Christmas. This is their holiday. It's been kind of fun to be the Santa to a whole new celebration ration- that is awesome. I never thought I mean I. I always think about how the holidays get started because as I've said before for there are multiple holidays on every day of the year. If you ever go to one of those calendar sites and look at the holidays you will see that there are just a million holidays and so always kind of wonder how they get started and it's fun to know the back story of this of this this fun Pirate Day in conclusion. I will say that tomorrow is September twentieth because today is September nineteenth. Talk like a pirate day and it's the day we're supposed to we. I don't mean me. I'm not going but the day that people are supposed to be storming area fifty one one and you know that there will be reporting on what actually happened because there's there's going to be news stories. There's going to be stories who knows as if anything will actually happen but there will be stories regardless of people you know they'll they'll be there. They'll be looking out for people to Storm Area Fifty one. There will probably be food trucks or something. I don't even know I know they were. They were talking about doing a festival at one point. I'm not sure that that ever came about but hey as always I will. I will bring you that news next time on the next episode because we need we need to know what happened at. Area Fifty one on September twentieth so please join me for the next episode of the GMC Weird News podcast in the meantime have a wonderful weekend and stay weird word It's cutting into your exercise time it stabbing you in.

"It's basically about how this one seaside town in Croatia. Got so overwhelmed by British like Stagg we last weekend. Delic everyone moved out of town and just came into the bars and then left and like basically gave like ceded the town to the British tour. Fascinating and horrifying. So I I can understand Croatia's sensitivity. All right. We've had enough leave. Out of. Yeah. And and so and the other thing that you know, like Mike was at the premiere, and that's that's like I was so interested to hear Mike feelings around the premier and being there. So that the other interesting thing, I think about that big, you know, they did Radio City Music hall. They didn't do it in LA. Like, they usually do it. They like they really splash out. There's a giant thrones in Rockefeller plaza. It's like that they had most of the cast their. I mean, I I don't think Amelia Clark was there. There were one or two other main people who weren't there. But like it was was there. Lena Hiti wasn't there because she's sick. Sorry. Handy wasn't there? But like it will it reminded me of like being a kid when you took all of your like Star Wars figures and laid them out across the stage musical I was like, holy smokes. Like, they were all there all the dead people. Sean bean was there. Yeah. Also, there's a symbolic the symbolism of Radio City Music calls a few blocks north of HBO's headquarters in New York. Yes. I think they were like this is our turf lake where we're bringing this home for the one last thing, you know, I think as sort of a kind of HBO specific branding their their with location and also started a full damn our late because the red carpet long imagine. I'm sorry Joanna. I interrupted, you know. No, no, no. That was a great point. But the the people who were there who work on the show who were maybe like burnt out from all the work. They put into the final season or any number of other things got reinvigorated by seeing all those people there who were excited seeing the enormous throat. You know, they were like I was feeling disconnected from this all like end we finished shooting, and it was sort of over. I was talking to Paul Fairfield who does this out on the show, and she's just she's like she works on her own in her own house out of our own studio. And she like, you know, she's been isolated and just like making dragon noises like. Doesn't wasn't really connected to the larger thing. And then you get to go to this thing. And just see like, wow, what an impact your, you know, silly drag annoys job or whatever has had on people like the story is so important to people so fascinated me, and my friend Margaret who came as my plus one she was she is like a political person. And so she's like so who's here. What is those? I was like I think it's the people who worked on the show or like filling out huge portion of this audience. And I mean, there's a lot of people who've worked on that thing. And it was cool that Dan Weiss said and their remarks beforehand, he was like this is the last time, you know, he said this is bitter sweet because we're really excited to be here. But this is really very likely to last time. We're all going to be in one place. So it really is. I mean, they understandably they were they were aware of the momentousness of the occasion. And you know, and rightly so I mean, no one they were saying like, we'll never experienced anything like this. And how could they I don't I don't think you ever could. Yeah. Apparently there. Yeah. Apparently their slogan for the season was we'll never see. It's like again or something they were making it. I wish it was a little owes lately self-important. But like, it's also true. You can't you wanna be like come on guys. But then you're like, well, no, you're right. Actually, nothing really say about it. So Mike you've seen the first episode in Arkansas spoiler for anybody. So think they should be concerned..

"But it was the only edited out the part with his, but and then, like the edit stops, and then it's just full on her breasts. Excellent first seconds, like you're in class. It's the greatest moment of your life. Yeah. And I didn't realize what they had blurred out until I went home. I rented it from blockbuster, and watched it just to see what we edited out. And that's when I know it's like it was just. Like a long shot of this dudes but, but like. Literally women give them a thrill. Adam get. Yeah. We, we watched nine hundred eighty four in class. We read it, and there was, there's a I mean there's a long nude scene. I mean, they're being interrogated. And the nude for. Scene. Yeah. No. And but the way that they edited it for class was that they just like a color, corrected, her nipples. So she just she was a fully naked woman, but instead of nipples, they were just the same color as the rest of her skin. Do wonder it was the future. It was the war. Whereas upsetting because everybody. Yeah. I've seen like that. Sam. Oh my first girlfriend, you have weird looking. What are these? Oh my God. So this show is this rash strength. I hate it. It's, it's who is going to watch seconds. Yeah. Joe it's the third season Jonas people watch it. Yeah. We have no idea. We are we sure that, that Netflix shows get more seasons? Because people like no, there's no right? It must I mean if they're secretive, but they're, they're not like aliens still operates like any network. I know watching it, it dies. I found myself feeling for data time as perfect zip. Right. Right. Yes. For the actresses in the show, who were like, you know, probably told it's gonna be like game of thrones. Yes, we're gonna get Sean bean. Episode paparazzi's and it's one of these nudity shows. It's going to grit screening traders because there was Sean bean was also, you know, he was in game of thrones famously and he was also in another head another tonight. There was another show. We covered. I don't watch it, but I get calling the Medici the management. He was in it. Well, it's Medici Bruce Turner. Correct. You on that. Medici anyway. So he's this is like the third one he was in anyway. A little more context on Arab. Don't watch issue Sean something run the opposite direction like in the fourth episode of game. Where you got head jumped off. Yeah. In the fourth episode of. The ten never watched. It can still have a conversation about it. What? That's conversation. Next. Susannah buried alive. Okay. This one hundred twenty five minutes after a pregnant woman is murdered or spirit seeks revenge against her increasingly terrified killers who are determined to finish her off for good. This is a cheesy low budget horror film, from Indonesia, come for the confusing title. Stay for the confusing, I like one hundred twenty five minutes, which is the running time. Right. But it sounded like after she's murdered because. This movie takes her ever. This is insane. Runtime for a movie over our long, how much did you watch? If anyone watched more than five minutes, I'm going to get I did. I did. I did. I saw. Her giving God damned out dollars. Someone needs to donate to your patriots. I watched because the only thing we knew about this was that she gets murdered. I was like, I will watch through the murder, even though as ready to drop it earlier than that. And so, I want it took half an hour to get.

"It's but on the show, it's like, even when you're dating somebody in real life. You can kind of tell when it's going south when you're telling each other you're falling in love. And you're like really there with somebody. And then it happens. Yeah. And you have no warning signs. And you only have like I God bless the producers. But like, they're obviously gonna do their job and tell you they can't let you think that you're gonna get dumped. Yeah. That they'd get fired. Yeah. So you have everybody telling you what you wanna hear right and these people in in that point of your life, our families. So you trust them and then happens, and it's like well now, not only are you heartbroken, y'all. You also feel manipulated. You. Also feel lied to. It's like all these things you don't have your friends and family to just call. Right. And then you get home. And you're like, hey, I had a really bad break-up what just happened like these next. Few holidays are gonna suck because they're so differently than I thought somebody just doesn't want to be with me ultimate form of rejection. Then. Oh, yeah. We have to watch it back in the people come up to me and say, hey, oh my gosh. Like, I just know. It's you guys have the best connection. I it. And it's like, you don't do that normal relationship thing, you know, not you, but just in general like trying to picture like a really hard break up, and then having defaet and just knowing all of these forms of rejection. Yeah. Like, I always I always think about that. With like people probably going up to him to be like. Yeah. No, less casts. He says he she like screw she left you. She doesn't want you. I can't wait to see you Hannah to go. Like, he probably got that. Do you know what happened to me? This is the worst outta here. People were going up to Sean bean like he don't need that slut. She like had sex with somebody. Yeah. Oh, it was bad. He was getting people. She already had a hard enough time with with my whole season because of the controversy, and so he was like, yeah. And it's that's his fiancee and people are coming up and telling him like how shitty I am to do that to him. So it was like. Reiterating his like insecurities already as and then it made me feel like shit because I'm like if people always asked me to like did you have regrets? Of course, I did with you again. No, no regrets. I'm like, of course, they did. If you can't go on national television, dating twenty five men falling in love with multiple and not have regrets. You're like could have done that differently. Yeah. Like, you just you do. So I wanted to ask do you have any regrets after I just said nobody you everybody else ever got basically tell me your regrets. I know as soon as you said that was like shoot I actually for me personally. I don't have it. How am I supposed to have regrets in hope that I'm in a relationship? Blake. Hope. I I know for me. There wasn't anything that was off of my character. Or my like there was so many things and that was something I held onto. Maybe that's why a lot of people didn't get to know me is because sometimes it'd be like I don't wanna I don't wanna talk about this. I know who knows. Yeah. Does. She let you get away with it. You could say don't talk about it. I feel like okay. So sometimes if I'm like in the mood. I can be kind of like fancy with words. Yes. Eight and ways to where it's like air in somebody's head. And so I think I would do that. And they're like well this time. Yeah. Well, you know, whatever I think there were also so many strong personalities in the house. Yeah. Who they could get it from way easier. You're not get it. But I know you mean like the narrative of the whole thing, and sometimes I wasn't even there for some because sometimes people will play their game and sometimes you need to. But sometimes people go overboard, and they're like, how do I get more TV time?.

"Had a bunch offers for smaller schools. I gave me is rules. I didn't have any doi- offers. So I was just trying to battle through that knowing that someone's going to come sooner or later, but I always wanted to play a boy you so they owe me to walk on there. And I wasn't turned that down. I always wanted to play there. So yeah that was easy for me. Would you think of that Bluefield? The first time you saw it. All the time. I grew up watching the game a little kid on the games, and and enjoying experience that way, but actually getting getting to be able to around the seal before the game, and they employ out. It was all though, what did you expect this year coming into the NFL as a rookie? That's a good question to I thought. I thought it was gonna take a little bit time getting going, but obviously been thrust into position. I am now with Sean bean doubt. And just starting in a moment and making the most of it as being confident myself. What was the welcome to the NFL moment. That's with you been asset at the time here and there, but I mean that I I'm Jay practice. I guess you could say no lines a lot faster than calling. Into that only took like a few snaps in maybe a day a practice, but other than that. I mean, it's just an it's an full go on blatant. But you get out there. And everybody says that you know, the game is so fast. But then the great ones always say eventually the game slows down, I think just because you get used to that speed. Have you gotten used to the speed of the NFL? Yeah. I think I think there's definitely there's some teams are some teams are a little bit different dollars. So you got to get used to that that way. But I think for the most part of the game is is has as down quite a bit since the beginning of the season. So just taking that in there, and they keep gain coffees keep keep didn't experience out there and all of those coming and just play fast being aggressive. What was your opinion reaction thoughts when you first met Jerry Jones? On my official. Visit my phone visit here in the spring and I got socked him office. And that was the first time I'd ever been like that. I mean, he's awesome us. He's the real deal that your fan. He knows his stuff. He's extremely sharp. And he just didn't really respectable guy. You don't do an impersonation of Jerry Jones d. No, no. Good answer. They're very good. I talked to Jalen Smith last week. And I asked him how much he benched max bench. You know, what he said? What do you say four ninety?.

"But I do agree. He probably didn't have a lot. Of control over this. It was probably all the producer making the film. He wanted to make last time with the director that he could been to his will. And just not a lot of strong, creative vision, and general they just repeated the imagery of the last film, the, nurses and the sword and all of it is just shit. We had seen before done at a much higher production budget. And so it's very disappointing. Someone that tried to see the positives of what they had going. I could see nothing but down now that they're stumbling out of silent hill, and it's a happy ending because Sean bean is going to go find his wife, and he's going to let us daughter run off with kit Harrington. It's a happy ending in that it's over. I mean, I don't really know that Sean bean on an endless mission to find his life in an alternate dimension. I wouldn't call it happy happy as he finds her and escapes with her. They might be notable that Sean be not only survived on movie. He's a series of movies or he might be dead. And that's why he. Can't leave. I mean, you could make that case too. But again, this might seem like a tease for part three. Obviously they thought that they could keep this going. That's why we also have this truck driver. Pull up Travis Grady is a character insolent hill five that was a prequel game where truckdriver came into town to rescue a child and found out more about the Colton. How it started there? So they thought that they were going to just be able to continue on through all of the silent hill video games and crank him out in the same way that resident evil did. And this movie is bad enough to stop those ambitious cold is he a creepy pedophile in the game. Or is it just something they did in the movie end that guy was off the charts? Weird. Maybe he was just overplaying the small rule..

"So she could grab the now complete medallion. Here's the difference. Is that I do think that in the original film while you didn't know what was going on. You understood physics, you understood basic like, okay, we're in the room. And we know that we're looking for share. And we know basically what's up here? I do not know what I should be hoping for what is the goal here. I guess we're just define Sean bean. That's the thing that we're supposed to care about. I don't care enough about his character. Just want to see him rescue really does just feel like a video game that you're not engaged with. And you're just trying to survive the levels when they got like recall like they didn't finish got scrapped. We were working on it. And then they cancelled it, but you can still play it if you want it's got a lot of bugs. I've bought some of those games. And eventually she's gonna find Vincent here because he was thrown in the insane asylum because his mother was mad that he's fallen in love with Heather and that he was actually trying to help her and that lead her into the plot. And so he's insane now and they throw him in a room, and we have I don't know a vague -ly cool scene in which we at least get pyramid. Head back to chop off hands reaching through bars and the crazy faceless nurses are here as well. He's being rescued from gurney while they try to slice him again. Those nurses are a great design. I really like them quite a lot. I do understand who's attacking who for why. And I think he was turned to the light side a little too easily to say the least here. But what it really does? It feels like every time they wanna have a revelation. It's just a recreation. It's oh, let's do what we did in the last movie that creeped you out so well except. Oh, yeah. We don't have the same budget. We don't have the same quality of actors, and we haven't created any sense of mood. So it's just a sad remake of a movie that didn't work that well to begin with. And I never even got the sense that Vincent was really working for his mother. Anyway, like talking about his grandfather, I thought he trusted his grandfather was actually a true human being and not actually twisted and had a plot of his own. This whole thing is a mess. It also raises my question I asked last week is pyramid had a guy. Or is there a bunch of them because he's back, obviously, he died in the last one in the games. There's a bunch of them. Okay. He's in the sane asylum kicking ass slicing off the hands. It looks good in three D. No doubt. But then he's going to turn right back around and go to a carnival and have to make God goddamn merry go round around again by doing the bicycle. Yeah. Last time he was at least a glorified henchman. Now. He's just got like odd jobs. Clean up an aisle three it is really disappointing. And the worst part is I don't care. I don't care about any of this. None of the performances are drawing me in. None of the story line is intriguing me. I thought the last one was convoluted, but I missing the nebulous nature of that story when faced with utter ignorance clear to me the only way to save. This would have been not to pick up any of the story strands at all you just have pyramid head and some new people that get caught up in the town's lower for some reason, and you can have new characters that don't have anything to do with a less, and Sharon and all of that stupidity. The fact that they've draggers spec into that has only meant that we have had to reexamine how stupid it was to begin with and in trying to reveal something new they have only exposed their own incompetence and writing and recreating.

"And I do think that this movie created a noble tone, even though it created a shit story. Yeah. So it's probably the closest thing that we're going to get to all almost recommending so far that I did I'm tipping at green. But I think we're all saying the same thing. Honestly, whatever the color is. We all saw the same movie. And so all I can hope is that maybe it'll improve with the sequel, I'm somewhat hopeful. Here's what I can say is I've never seen the sequel either I knew it came out. But I was so disappointed in this. With the first time. I saw it back in seven. There was. Nothing to make me either want to pick up the game or race out to see another one of the movies. So I'm curious though, it's three D. Could it be better than the original? I'm going to bet that they'll simplify it. I know they're picking up the same story because I know way, see I would just pick new characters silent hill to video games new characters. They're not gonna go back to Lissa and all of that shit. Right. Well, that's the only thing I really know about this movie going in is from when I was just looking at the disks and buying them Rodham Mitchell, and Sean bean or back. Uh-huh. Interesting. Okay. So maybe it's not going to get better. It's just hard. After all these sequels. I'm always impressed when they're like, oh, well, they acknowledged the verse movie existed. This is what I'm not sure that I want more story with these characters. Yeah. I definitely like the story was overdone. I don't need any more on this. But I guess I'm gonna get next week. Meanwhile, if you want more dancing ghouls, we got the spirit remake this Friday four civil level donors, it is the conclusion what we've been building to. And really what I've been waiting all year to see is this remake of spirit that looks at credible. It is the last show in our silver level donation series. So for those of you who liked to wait until you can get the whole series at once you can here are three reviews of the Dario are gentle original three mothers trilogy. Plus the review of phenomena also known as creepers movie that was supposed to be a three mothers film and wasn't and ending with the remake of spirit here. And then next week. We start our goal level. Aries? It's weird. We did platinum earlier, but go level starts next week through Swiss Haley, Joel ause Mott Donnie, Wahlberg the six cents. What a twist. I always loved that comment robot chicken. What? And if you can't donate we completely understand their other ways, you can help this show out. You can tell your friends to give us a listen as we continue in the arcade in two weeks. We're going to perhaps the front of the arcade. The more glorified game that you show from the door Reckitt Ralph it technically not an arcade game. But our Kate Iggy. What I've been seeing on the toy shows they actually did make that game. And they have a little miniature version of that you can buy for twenty bucks. I might have to pick one of those up before we sit down for that one. There's so many more reviews you can tell people about at our website in a couple of weeks. We're going to be reviewing creed too. You can hear reviews of every rocky movie, including the first creed in our archives. Halloween is a much better horror film and silent hill, and we just reviewed that new one two weeks ago, you can hear all of the Halloween reviews last week. We did children of the corn. "And it really won't matter where she wants to go one thing that I never knew. Until researching this film was do you guys know what Sean bean is famous for dyeing in the most movies ever. That is actually. Yes. It's like this big thing that Sean bean dis. Always there are like montages of him dying hundreds of times as so I see Sean beamed across the street. I think he's going to be knocked out almost immediately. By that truck. I'm aware that mean to you know, because I know I'm being from game of thrones. He was one of the main characters early on and died and died. That mean kinda got some feet, and I'm right there with your name like oh boy. Here we go Sean Bean's garner. He wasn't even supposed to be in the movie as much as he was. They finished the script. And basically the husband was left here at the beginning. And they send into the studio and the studios like we're not making this movie. The movie has no men in it. So they went back and added all of Sean bean subplots. But he really does look like one of the most ineffectual worst adoptive father's ever from. Yeah. He's saying that we need to medicate her, and I don't know how their marriages. But a marriage can't be that great. If the conversation goes, I wanna take our daughter to this weird town. No, I won't I'm going to sneak away with the daughter. Well, I'm gonna turn off your credit card. Pretty dick move which raises an issue from me right away because they stopped to get gas. They couldn't get gas. They continue on did you notice where they stop? They stop at this gas station diner. Right. But yet there's this giant blue neon sign. This says tattoos and body piercings. It's a tattoo body. Our gas station diner full of old people. Does it sound like such an uncommon mix? There are some weird way stations in America. I've stopped at a few where they yeah. You could get a lot of things done all at once. Hey, I'm cross country. I need some gas and prince helper. Have you ever been to Shuki? It sounds very much like Shuki in the south. But I'm just wondering, you know, they made such a big deal about her not having money and whatnot. And they never take care of the gas situation. She drives all the way home on that one Danka guess she found out she couldn't pay after she filled the car up. I didn't think somebody was going to come out there and siphon the gas back out to repo it. Yeah. I suppose you're right. She did Philip. I I guess I was distracted by the fact that once again shitty parenting. She's gonna leave her daughter in the car and walk inside out of you for good five minutes. Well, she may never have driven much further. We'll discuss whether she ever goes further. She is looking for the town of silent hill, West Virginia. And this is the neighboring town that if you freeze frame the web information that she had been scouting. And you can read it's all there. Someone took the time to write it. This is where everyone was evacuated after the fire in nineteen seventy four. There was a big coal fire and everyone that survived and there were hundreds that died, but the survivors now live in this town. So she's close she wants to know how to get to the vinyl destination. They still have signs up conveniently helpfully pointing the way, but it's not a town that you can get to anymore. They've just decided to close off the roads and let it burn the cop who saw this lady and her daughter suspiciously, leaving a gas station catches up with them on there. Way to silent hill pulls him over and rose decides to just gun it and take off this cop. Cybil Bennett motorcycle cop is played by Lauren Holden..
