"To Cole Cuba, I'm Jason Fitz, filling in for Paul on the Paul Feynman show. You just mentioned regionalization. I want to stick there for a second because I think you'll appreciate this better than most. I grew up as a little kid in Vegas, where college football did not matter when I was a kid. And when I moved to the south, that's when I really started to feel it, right? I keep looking at USC and UCLA and thinking about what little sort of passion there is in the pack 12 fan base at least in perception up and down the West Coast as little as it matters. You've now taken two prominent programs at least away and you're going to make these kick-off times all over the board on Saturdays, make it really hard to figure out when to watch what to watch. It just changes the entire watch experience. What's the future of health for college football on the West Coast because of these moves? Well, I think this actually aids that because at least now you'll get USC Michigan UFC Ohio State USC Wisconsin. You'll get UCLA. You're playing Michigan state. You get UCLA playing Iowa. Those are going to be bigger games than a lot. Not all, but a lot of the games that they had been getting recently in the PAC 12. I think that helps. I think that also gets more die hard because I think essentially what you're saying about the West Coast is there are not a lot of people like us. A college football die hard that if it's maxing on Tuesday, we're going to watch it. You know, if it's a bowl game that starts at 11 a.m. on a work Wednesday in December, we're going to watch because we watch all of it. We consume every bit of it. But there might not be as many of those in the far left in California. Let's just say, as there are in the Midwest or in the southeast, or just in the state of Texas or in the state of Michigan, well, you could bring some of those die hard fans now to your product and where your product is and that potentially could help grow it. And then just the amount of eyeballs that you may now be in front of more often could also help the sport grow in that part of the country. The issue will be that you're just not going to get a ton of interesting games for a lot of the folks that are sort of teetering between leaving and sticking around and not a really cool long conversation with Ryan McGee on my show about this. He's actually got an article out there from a couple of years ago because I've sort of seen a bit of a correlation between where NASCAR was and where NASCAR tried to go to some of the things that college football is going through now. And I don't want college football to leave the die hard fan behind. I don't want him to leave even a part of a fan that's going to watch one or two games a year behind. I would rather try to get that fan in for more games. Hey, Ryan McGee told me he said the biggest mistake that NASCAR made was it never thought that their die hard fans would leave. And when we began to grow to do things different in the beginning to do things that made a lot of those fans mad that had been there forever, a lot of them did leave. And a lot of them did walk away. That is currently my biggest fear for college football is that a lot of the die hard fans will leave will not come back. I've had a lot of them tell me in IL, not watching anymore. Get off my lawn guy, whatever it is, transfer portal, not watching anymore. Well, now, if you begin to grow this thing, and let's be real, the beauty of conferences and rivalries in regionalization. And I'm not saying it has to stay there forever and just be that. But those are games that we've seen for so long that we automatically care about them. I mean, teams in the SEC play Tennessee, you're probably thinking about the mid 90s when Tennessee was great and Leonard little and paid Manning and you're thinking about Al Wilson and John Henderson and you're thinking about how great it was to go beat Nash and Kent and those guys. When you play auburn, you're thinking about whether it was Cam Newton or takeo spikes or Bo Jackson, like all those things come to mind. When you go play LSU, you think about Marcus beers and booger McFarland. It's not just Joe burrow. Kevin faulk probably ran all over. If you played Alabama, it's not just a saving era like Sean Alexander probably had his way with David Palmer probably made your team look bad on a regular basis. We remember all those things. Those things stick with us forever. And the further we get away from that, and we start introducing these new teams that must be real, a lot of people in those conferences just don't care about. And there's not a lot of meaning to them, is it going to stay as popular? I think it's a real question that you have to ask, but the reality is the teams that can operate a certain way are the ones that are pulling away from the pack right now. We're talking to Cole Cuba again, Cole, by the way, I reread that article you referencing because I found myself sitting at the radio listening to every second of Marty and McGee on Saturday as they spent three hours just diving into like, what the hell is happening to college football? And you make a great point, I'll go back to auburn. Another school you obviously know incredibly well, right? But you think about years where you may not be a national championship contender, it doesn't always matter as long as you still have the moments. The important rivalries, I'll argue, as somebody that lived in Tennessee for 25 years, that whether or not the Tennessee falls win in national championship is obviously important. But Florida, Alabama, these games still mean everything to fan bases. In a mega conference SEC, will the game still mean as much for the intrinsic rivalries that have existed for generations? It's a very difficult question to ask because I think some of them immediately are going to go away, Jason. We've talked about this with all these scheduling models. Do you have, do you have three annual opponents? Do you have one annual opponent? And that's going to be your rivalry game that you know you're going to get. So if that were the case, we lose auburn Georgia. We lose Alabama, Tennessee. And it doesn't have to still be one sided. There's a Twitter account dedicated to how many thousands of days it's been since Tennessee beat Alabama. And people still care about that game. Still want to see it. Ratings still do extremely well. Now you all of a sudden, it's Texas Alabama going to be a problem? No. There's two massive brands, two top 5 brands in all of college football for the history of college football. But the further we go with this and the more we begin to extend, I mean, Missouri fans, are they excited about playing a couple of big 12 opponents that they used to have? I don't know. The answer to that. I don't know South Carolina fans other than the fact that Oklahoma has been good if it's going to be a meaningful game to them because there's not a ton of history that's attached to it and that's the part of college football that I think a lot of us have fallen in love with and grown to love is the history that it was attached with. What we knew early and then what we knew later and then what we know now. And some of that's just going to go away. There's not a ton of history between Maryland and USC. There's not a ton of history between UCLA and northwestern, but all of a sudden now those are going to have to be somewhat rivalry games. Conference games. So the big rivalries will stand forever. I mean, bedlam, if that one's still played, it's not going to die. It's not going anywhere. Hopefully we get Texas Texas a and M back. It'll mean just as much now that it ever has been. The iron bowl, army navy, Ohio State Michigan. Those games are never going to lose any luster. But we've.

"And so you know, I think there's always the thing I always try to advise some of the young men I get to get the encourage or mentor and whether it's college or prose is, let's make sure that we're actually making a big plant and not undercutting the grove that happens from trying to persevere through tough times. Sean finally, you were at Alabama number of years. You've watched that program. You have been a proud part of a heritage. And it seems like these questions are never ending, but the idea that Nick Saban on Monday night I could win his 7 title in what 13 years at Alabama, I just even somebody who played there. How do you put that in context? It's amazing. You know, we are so proud of our school, but you know, when mom Moore went to go get him and the great odds he knew so was like, man, we can get coach Saban, you know, which they were together from Cleveland. We just were hoping that he would do the things that even coach Stalin did, you know, and that's who recruited me. But to see what he's done over this time has been just amazing, so much fun. You see the growth of maturity of all these young men. It's been really good. I loved what he's done with our school. Not only just waiting, but guys are growing in character, guys go to class. They get their degrees. He's done so many things the right way and he's giving them tough love and then he cracks the smile that reminds him that they are loved and more than just athletes. He's just done a great job and we're so proud of him with thankful for him and we're proud of where he's taking our program. Great to have Sean Alexander with us as we always appreciate your time. We're heading to the break, Sean. Thank you again. We'll come back and get your reaction to Sean and so much.

"I think I'm not exactly sure. I think it was primarily I mean, I know I know every Alabama player was invited Jeremiah Castillo his foundation was the one who put it on and he's right. Yeah, I don't think it was really something that they advertise because they ended up having almost 600 people. I don't think they could have had another person in that ballroom. So I think it was there were so many people from the past who wanted to come with their families. Yeah. That. Because you're right. When I told a couple of friends of mine that I was coming in to host it, they looked at me the same way you did. They didn't know anything about it, because it was one of those events that didn't need publicity because it had so much fuel going from within. Yeah, well it was a family thing for all those folks. Yeah, it very much was a reunion. And if you played in the 70s for Alabama, you were there assuming you could have been. And then what was remarkable is how many other players showed up. I ran into players from throughout the 80s, 90s I saw Sean Alexander Andrews. I mentioned Davos Sweeney came in for it. I wish it could have been televised because it would have been a spectacular night for Alabama fans and really well. Fans of college football to participate. There was so much history involved with and I know every school has celebrated that period but this was particularly poignant because I guess who the head coach was at the time, coach Bryant. We'll take a break. We will be back with more of your phone calls at 855-242-7285 right after this..

"First? Yeah, I'll go first. So in the AFC, I'm going to stick with half of our prediction. No, you know what I'm not going to stick with half of it. And I'm going to say that the home team is going to be the Titans and the road Tim is going to be the bills. Which is an abdication of both, because I originally had it the chiefs and the Chargers. So, but in the NFC, I'm going to stick, it's going to be Green Bay and Lambo. And against Tampa Bay in January. We'll see, we'll see if Tom Brady's 44 year old bones will literally shatter when he gets tackled in negative 21° wind chill. His whoo nutritionist will surely get in the way of that. He'll be like, I do have to say, I do have to say the real revelation of commercials in the NFL this year is for the Tom Brady some way commercial. Right. Oh, that was great. You know, I mean, I like turning the whole thing on its head and like the least likely person to do it or to endorse it. I thought it was pretty genius, but anyway. Scott, who Belle took ones are pretty good, too. It was kind of the campaign was pretty short lived, but those are pretty entertaining. As with the Marshawn Lynch ones, although the much better it's Marsha and lynch does just like vocal ads for like a plumbing company, just tremendous. I don't know how they can afford them, but it's like it's just grade egg content. Always said that he lived off of his endorsements and put all of his salary into the bank and so he may just be willing to do anything. So he has to touch his capital. I mean, he's a smart dude. Yeah. I love Marshawn. Wait, wait, here's a side point. Is the beast to Hall of Famer? Yeah. Boy, that's right on the cusp. It's sort of like, I'm inclined to say no. But on the other end of fucking Curtis Martin and like Jerome bettis are Hall of Famers. Like, you know, based on like the research running. Like, he's clearly better than like, Sean Alexander. You know, like, you know, like he's like those kinds. Yeah. Yeah, so I mean, you know, I think, yeah, he's right on the bus. He's right on like you and like he's just, you know, you like his career to be a little longer or like one more great season. But he was really outstanding when he was good. You know, and what other fall of ambers are there on the scene? So, like, Wilson's a Hall of Famer Earl Thomas is a Hall of Famer. Wagner's a Hall of Famer. You know, do they have a fourth? Because that blood is the only other candidate. Well, Sherman, Bill Sherman, sorry, that's right. So maybe you can see, yes. Yeah. There could be a lot of Hall of Fame. Wagner. I mean, Thomas, Thomas will probably get in, but it's harder for safety and also his the end was so divisive. That's true. He's punching his own players in the states. That's actually true. It might be a wild thing. Like to me, like, I think Thomas is a greater player than Sherman without even. But yeah, you're right. Corners, I would use your time getting in. And the end was Wagner. To me, I mean, it's possible that there's pushback against rust for that matter. I mean, ultimately, the results are not always that great for all the hype..

"Jason gave his story. Where like if. I mentioned the guy he i remember like watching matt forte and jason's this guy. Like the next sean alexander. I still remember that conversation. This guy's good player your mic on alexander. And i was like. I don't really see that and then like his rookie year. He's run all over. The place was like him. You know there. It is at so that one i know is true. That one always sticks with me so we member stories like that but but But it's probably a good deal. It's probably good that you're having like when you're young like when you coming up like that that's probably great to have those conversations because you probably like start to see holes in like what right like i think like like brett like you start to okay like what did i miss now. You're looking for something else right like being around other people probably helped you guys that way right. Yeah i think when when you play the game and you know you're watching it you you know if you're not in the business if you haven't worked in business you just kind of look at it through your lens and you're his only and you know when you're surrounded by people that are really good at what they do and they see things differently You realize that You know roster composition is very complex and diverse thing in that. If you're looking at seeing only you know in your through your eyes then you know you're gonna be wrong more often than not and that's why it's a collaborative effort and that's wife jason as a great staff with him and and look you know our sas. Make us look good. I have a bunch of great people here from my cap guys to people personnel department. I mean there's a lot of times it you know we end up with players at you know. Maybe when the whole process started we are on opposite ends of the spectrum. But you know they give you give some and i think that's our job is to and this goes back to coach. Our ultimate job is to make sure that we're always doing what's best for the organization so You know if we're wrong. You know being able to that all right. Listen you know after doing a little bit more work than seeing things through your lenses. You know. I'm not going to sit here and say no. I still like this guy. Matt no like you know. There's enough time and enough tape out there that we have played. I still have plenty time to make mistakes so What's all get on borer. But but no. I mean i you know. And that's the thing that yes coach to that you know being able to to sit in a in a collaborative process and understand that You taken all the information you bounce it in your way it and then you just go ahead and make decisions that you think's best but it's not solely my decision Jason decision i know. I know how jason it runs his department. I mean you know the people that we have working with us you know they you know a big say in what we do..

Four time NFL Rushing Champ member of the 19 nineties, All decade team member of the NFL 100 all time team. Member of the College Football Hall of Fame member, the pro Football Hall of Fame. All of that, and appearing courtesy of the Rocket Mortgage, Super Bowl Square sweepstakes. Berry Sanders back in the jungle Bury It is great to have you on before we get into football. Everything else. Barry, how are you doing right now? How is your life? Jim. Great to be with you, man. It's pretty good man. Considering the circumstances, you know, can't complain. Great. Great to be back with you today. It's good to have you back, Barry always going to talk to you. You and I have done this so many times. It's great to have you back. Listen, we start right here. You had a really nice tweet the other day. I thought that read quote. Just want to send out a quick note thanking Matt Stafford and his family for all they've done for the team, the fans and the city and a quote Various somebody who represented the lines in that city of Detroit for as long as you have, what do you make of the job that he did as the face of that franchise? Well, hey, look, man. I mean, the guy carried the team for a lot of years. Um, you know, and they have so much good football left in me. I hate to see him go. We know that you know every every day he comes to Every day he comes to work, you know, and and when you step on the field with him And the guys the difference maker. You know he is so so we hate to see him go. He, uh, you know, I guess it got to a point where both sides You know, we're kind of ready to go their separate ways and what have you and the the that's kind of how the new regime saw it. But The guy's just a flat out player, man. Um, you know, he has elite talent, and we saw that every day And so you look at you know, with the Rams have done over the last few years. I mean, they could. They could be scary out there with him, Um, lead the team. Family. Barry Sanders. Joining us appreciate those thoughts. I agree with you. Yeah, barely mentioned the new regime. You were actually invited to serve as part of the advisory committee for the coaching search. What did it mean for you to get that invite? And what do you make of Dan Campbell as the new head coach? No, it meant a lot for me to be involved in it. You know, I don't necessarily encourage people having their kneecaps bit off or anything like that. But I love him. I love you know, Coach Campbell's Initial press conference, You know, just kind of putting the division on notice and other teams on notice that That you know That's his attitude and his mindset, and that's going to be the attitude mindset of the team going forward. You know that. You know, people better look out, you know, because you know he's been around. He's been around some Winners and they seem you know how you build brick by brick. That whole process on, so I'm looking forward to it here. You know how it is Brick by brick kneecap I kneecap. You know how it is around the block. You know, Very Sanders joining us. Let me take a step back. I was recently talking to Derrick Henry and he became the newest member of Berry of the 2000 Club this year as a member of that club yourself. How did it feel to welcome him in? And what do you think when you watch him run the way he does. Oh, man, It is great to welcome Derek. And, um, you know, Jim, honestly, the last couple years You know, he's been the most dominant player outside of Patrick Mahomes. And maybe Aaron Rodgers. He's been in Northumberland opposite player. Maybe he put it on display again this year by going over 2000 yards. Um, you know, and you look out. He's carried this team into the playoffs last Couple years. I feel like they should have given the ball 40 times this year against the Ravens at another another story, But but, yeah, he very well could be a guy. Um, the first guy that Chris 2000 years twice in a career. Or I'll say more than once because he's definitely in his prime, you know, and so hopefully don't give him the ball but hopefully giving the ball on. Hopefully they're paying him whatever he deserves, because, like I said, I believe he has been You know the three dominant players office. The players in the league and the guy's future's bright and I wouldn't be shocked to see The Titans, you know, playing the big game at some point if he stays healthy, we're talking Barry Sanders. He buries a quick photo that I think you make a great point. The fact that he's been a dominant dominant offensive player along the lines of Aaron Rodgers Patch Mahomes. But he's not getting that kind of respect, right? At least his name is not mentioned with those three as a running back. Does that bother you? And should he get more respect? What? I think he certainly deserves more respect. Um, I don't I don't think I think he certainly should be right up there with Aaron Rodgers and who wins Leading VP. Um, you know, and then he should, you know, and I'll just throw this third one, and he should certainly received quarterback money. I don't know what he's being paid, but, um, but yeah, but he just been. He's been that kind of player the last few years and You know, And so he should be compensated for, But yeah, The point is the guy the guy is right up there with the best in the league and you know he's going to be great for many years to come. We're talking very Sanders. Very now. I talked to Sean Alexander the other day as well. I mean, you made putting up huge seasons is a backward pretty easy, but it takes a toll. It takes a toll on you. Physically, it takes a toll on you. Mentally. Sean was talking about how when he what he had to do to get his body to recover from a 300 carry season and then get ready for the next season. How were you able to do that? I mean, you average more than 300 carries per season over the course of your entire career. How were you able to bounce back year after year after year and maintain your body? Your mind for that kind of grind? You know, it is tough. It's tough, but you know for me, there was no greater Um, privilege I would say, than lining up Um In the NFL as a running back, you know, as a top running back in the NFL, you know? So so I knew that I had to take great care of my body. I knew that. And as I got older, I learned better how to do that, You know, just working out wise and And diet wise and everything else in a lot of things have to go right for you, you know, And so I think there's luck involved as well, You know, but but But, yeah..

No, it meant a lot for me to be involved in it. You know, I don't necessarily encourage people having their kneecaps bit off or anything like that. But I love him. I love you know, Coach Campbell's, uh, Initial press conference, You know, just kind of putting the division on notice and other teams on notice that That you know That's his attitude and his mindset, and that's going to be the attitude mindset of the team going forward. You know that that you know people better look out, you know, because you know he's been around. He's been around some Winners and he seemed, you know how you build brick by brick. That whole process And so I'm looking forward to it there. You know how it is. Brick by brick kneecap I kneecap. You know how it is around the block. You know, Very Sanders joining us this Let me take a step back. I was recently talking to Derrick Henry and he became the newest member of Berry of the 2000 Club this year as a member of that club yourself. How did it feel to welcome him in? And what do you think when you watch him run the way he does. Oh, man, It is great to welcome Derek. And, um, you know, Jim, honestly, the last couple years You know, he's been the most dominant player outside of Patrick the homes and maybe Aaron Rodgers. He's been a north dominant, obviously player. Maybe he put it on display again this year by going over 2000 yards. Um, you know, and you look out. He's carried this team into the playoffs last Couple years. I feel like they should have given the ball 40 times this year against the Ravens as another another story, But but, yeah, he very well could be a guy. Um The first guy that Chris 2000 years twice in a career or I'll say more than once because he's definitely in his prime, you know, and so hopefully don't give him the ball but hopefully giving the ball on. Hopefully that they're paying him whatever he deserves, because, like I said, I believe he has been You know that three dominant players off of the players in the league and the guy's future's bright and I wouldn't be shocked to see the Titans, you know, playing the big game at some point if he stays healthy, we're talking Barry Sanders. Um, you know, and hey, should you know, and I'll just throw this third one, and he should certainly received quarterback money. I don't know what he's being paid, but, um, but yeah, but he's just been. He's been that kind of player the last few years and You know, And so he should be compensated for, But yeah, The point is the guy the guy is right up there with the best in the league, and you know he's gonna be great for many years to come. Talking Barry Sanders. Very now I talked to Sean Alexander the other day as well. I mean, you made putting up huge seasons is a back look pretty easy, but it takes a toll. And as I got older, I learned better how to do that, You know, just working out wise and And diet wise and everything else in a lot of things have to go right for you, you know?.

I mean, the guy carrying the team for a lot of years. Um, you know, and they have so much good football left in me. I hate to see him go. We know that you know every every day he comes to Every day he comes to work, you know, and when you step on the field with him And the guys the difference maker. You know he is so so we hate to see him go. He, uh, you know, I guess it got to a point where both sides You know, we're kind of ready to go their separate ways and what have you and the the that's kind of how the new regime saw it. But But the guy's just a flat out player, man. Um, you know, he has elite talent, and we saw that every day And so you look at you know, with the Rams have done over the last few years. "He is a two time rushing champ. He led the NFL with 378 carries for over 2000 yards. In fact, a player in NFL history to rush for two K. He led the league in total yards, which 2100 and 41. He's a Heisman Trophy winner, and today he appears courtesy of FedEx Air and ground NFL players of the Year Awards, which recognized the top quarterback and running back performances off the 2020 NFL season. My guest is Derrick. Henry. Derek. It's good to have you on. How are you? Good. How you doing? Good. Good. You sound great. All right, See, you wrapped up another massive season, including more than 2000 rushing yards. Let me start right there. The game ball, and some of your gear from the game are now on display in Canton. It's such an iconic number for the fans. What is breaking the 2000 yard mark me, do you personally? Does it feel a special particularly special to you? Home. It was definitely definitely special, especially over for me to have with me and my teammates and, uh, us to be able to accomplish that all together because I couldn't have done it kind of did about them and then actually very cool to a builder. Joining some of guys that analyzed and that you need group. So the deputy special definitely Some are always remember the rest of my life. We're talking Derrick Henry. I'm not at all surprised that you immediately went to your team. And answering that question, because my senses it's always more way more about team for you than individual achievements. You came close to reaching the Super Bowl last year. You went to the post season again this year. How hungry or you when it comes to getting to a Super Bowl and winning one? Is this something you think about frequently? Yeah, I think about all the time thinking about it when that When the clock hits all the zeros in the game was open. We way got eliminated. Um, um and know that they're still motivated. Gonna stay motivated till I get the opportunity and I know I speak for all the guys on our team. Definite going off season hungry and can't wait to get back at it, huh? Your chance to shoot for the Super Bowl Lombardi Trophy, right? Derrick Henry my guest, You know, Think about your team. Your team is really good with this show, And I say that because I've talked to a lot of your teammates over the course of the season on both sides of the ball, I'm always struck by the fact the guys on both offense and defense have a similar toughness a somewhere mentality. How would you describe the identity of this Titans team and what's it mean to you to be a titan? And ah love being a tighter love everything that is task for love everything that our organization stands for, and no culture, and we just love being related to send out play. Never getting enough. Start fast finish strong. And doing it doing it doing anything we can to win the game on all three phases. And I know one thing about us. We would never quit and we always we always fight back. No matter what, this being relentless and everything we do. I'm from the start to the finish and me end on the field, weight room and everything. Titans running back Derrick Henry joining us. That's the word right? They're relentless, You know, I talked to Sean Alexander on the show..

"We will never do that. As long as I'm the head coach in New York Giants You mean do those things that every other team and every other player had to do around the league throughout the year? Blah, blah, blah, blah. How many times we gonna hear this? That rant is littered with these same old word salad. That judge is consistently vomiting up. Him rambling on about this sacrifices everybody had to make and their families had to make for an NFL season become a reality. How hard these guys all work how much it all means to them. Never mind that pretty much everybody in the league works really hard and really cares and had to make tremendous sacrifices. Mean doing all that does not make you unique or better than anybody else bad enough to keep playing that broken record, But even worse because he didn't address the only thing that really did matter, the fact that his try hard crew Was six and 10. He didn't own that fact that if you're six and 10 in the worst division ever, that's pretty much. The only thing that really does matter in a business like that, and no one gives a damn about anything else, nor should they. He didn't mention that they were playing some of their worst football when it mattered most. He didn't mention that they lost three of their last four with the division hang in the balance. And that they didn't have anybody to blame but themselves. He didn't get to any of that. Just that Well, you know, our guys work really, really hard And we really, really care And it's too bad. The other guy doesn't Or we wouldn't be in this position when in fact you would be you would be regardless of what the Eagles did or did not do, because you are what your record says. You are. And your record says You're six and 10. And for some reason, Judge just could not get his head wrapped around the most obvious thing ever. And the only reason that I'm still talking about that now, with the divisional playoffs coming up Is because Judge was asked about it yet again, Except this time he finally started to get it. This is what he had to say. Yesterday on Boomer and Geo. Look, that's awful. Went blank. We have to do better. Six and 10 is not a playoff team. That's that's reality. That's what it is. You don't deserve to be in the playoffs of that, and our guys know that. I understand that you guys are very you know, realistically, how they look at things were very honest and transparent our team at all moments. We're not trying to sit back and trying to make some kind of excuse. We're not sitting back trying to paint some pictures. Son also does anything they don't Good. Take Joe. It's a really good take. I thought so when I said the exact same thing nine days ago on this radio program While you were on a zoom soapbox, talking about how the Eagles disrespected the game. When really what you were trying to say? Is the Eagles disrespected you? And blew any chance of you back door in your way in. Anyway. Welcome to the party pal. Party Path. The reality party pal, the ownership party pal. The Accountability party pal. The party where a 16 10 head coach finally admits that his six and 10 team got exactly what it deserved. A six and 10 team does not deserve to be in the postseason and was owed nothing by anyone. Now. All of your players who were live tweeting that Eagles wftv game 10 days ago going toe owner as well because that also was a bad look. Bunch of six in 10 players hammering out entitled Hate tweets as they watch their playoff hopes Circle the drain. Lacking any kind of accountability or self awareness. You know the self awareness that comes along with losing 10 games and playing in the worst division ever. Besides, you want to get right down to it, Joe. Nobody's mad outside your locker room that the Giants Mr Postseason because Instead. What we all received was a nice dose of Taylor. Hi, Niki Taylor. Hi. Nikki took us on this amazing 60 minute ride, where it looked for a moment that he might actually slay the goat himself. Crazy, right? Absolutely crazy. That anonymous player that before that game, so many people would never even heard of was standing in and trading haymakers with the goat crazy when you think that he was a Saint Louis battle Hawks quarterback Less than even one year ago, and my right James Kelly saying Louis battle Hawks quarterback I mean, I'm talking about the ST Louis battle. Hawkes. It's an amazing name for a team and my right, James Kelly saying Louis battle Hawks A flight deck. What job? Did Taylor Hi, Nikki hold before the job he currently holds with the Washington football team, saying Louis Battle Hawks quarterback The deck. When the rock brings back the XFL. Which team are you most looking forward to watching, saying Louis Battle Hawks? Deck when you come on for big head Betsy's coming Friday What is the one team that you wanna talk about, saying Louis Battle Hawks. James Kelly. Who do you think that Adam Hawk most wants you to talk about when you come on Friday, saying Louis battle Hawks This is literally hawks best and a long time on this show, Jake and you know why? Because you came on this show once and you said this Sang Lewis battle Hawks. J. K. I had to throw Hakka bone man. He's been beaten down so long and so hard. And inevitably, when the two of you get into it usually get the better of him. So I had to throw the kid a bone. You understand that right? Inevitable. It's inevitable that this would get reset on the program, saying Louis Battle Hawks Now, having said all that you will have a chance to respond on Friday during big head bets. It is your segment. You could do whatever you want. You could talk about Hawk or you talk about your favorite team. Saying Louis battle Hawks Anyway. Now that Joe judge has finally accepted the past as his reality we can all move into the future. Because there are now eight teams left. And also the saying Lois Battles battle Hawks. Just kidding. J. K. I've got eight teams left the A teams that deserve to be there. And I cannot wait for these matchups this weekend. Nor can I wait for the Friday edition of Big Head bets. Saying Louis battle Hawks He's waiting. JK just hit me up with quote. Tricky believe dog. It is, man. I get it. ST Louis is tricky. So are tricky. Saying, Louis Battle Hawks. What? It has a translation and, like one of the lines is he has the biggest peopie in the world like that's one of the lines in the song. Why? Why does a 445678 year old? Like Why is Well? I mean, you gotta Gotta get my low self esteem right now, don't you? Aren't they gonna be looking at that and looking at them? You know, e think it's gonna be full shame from day one. So he's gonna be doing the video tomorrow. Mason's gonna be are running around with balloons tied to his That's one point. I mean, I don't know what message given 4 to 8 year olds like we load up the phone lines here. What do we have to give away? We have a gift card to Hooters to give away Don't want the transition. We have a $50 gift card to Hooters. It's football season. You need your wings. Hooters. Got him. Here's 50 bucks to Hooters. What they have great wings. You You should be an advertising executive. So let's go every five callers 5 10 15 23 50. I've got 10 questions, okay? This is it's the Bears playoff payoff If you will won't look atyou. These are all questions involving bears playoff games from the last 20 years from 2001 through 2018. This is all having to do with their first playoff game of each of those years that they've made the playoffs. So like there won't be a question about Bears Packers NFC Championship game or in the first round of the postseason. So I wanted to give trivia questions for all the first round matchups the Bears have been in over the last couple of decades. So what? How are we going to do this? Is you helping? There is one that I believe I can stump everybody. I think you go. I I don't I don't think I'm going to be very good at this. Oh, no. I think most of these, you'll get easily. I think for you most. There's one that surprised me that I forgot about somebody. And I've made it a question. I think out of the 10 8 are extremely extremely easy If you follow the Bears, If you get your question, right, you go in the hopper. If you're wrong, we hang up on you. And we shame you And you have to go. John Guillemin. Many guys probably wouldn't mind going to see that. So why are you going to be if people want your help? I can. Yeah, I'm just gonna advertise that. How about you go? You do give the hint If they Okay, There you go. I'll give you his. I think it's so easy that if you're just going to do the guessing for them It's not much fun, is it? No. Okay. I'm not gonna give you the gas. I can try and give you a hint. You give them an extra hint that I didn't in under there. All right, so 3123323776 sort of like a bear's playoff payoff. The winner will get the gift card to Hooters. You let me know when the call went. Any of the colors are ready and you could introduce them and I'll give I'll give the questions. We go to Gil in new athletics. What's happening, boy? You big up. There's fan. Oh, yeah. All right, so we're going Tol first round matchup between the Bears and Seattle Seahawks. This happened back. I believe this was in 2020 10 season. Here's your question. Okay after causing a minor quake in Seattle the week before the Bears defense held this Seahawks running back to just two yards rushing. I know what's his name, Sean. Alexander That is incorrect. Oh, no, You didn't even go for the clue, was it? That was a good one, though. Like Shaun Alexander was a great Seattle running the film. That would be him. I don't know. Now he did face the Bears. I believe it was in the 06 playoffs. But by 2010. I believe he was gone a while. You know the answer to this question, don't you? Is it Ricky Waters know Marshawn Lynch? Yes. The visit my fucking my club in there after causing a minor quake in Seattle the week before. That's beast Quake! I don't remember the beast Quake You don't That was, Don't you remember where The Richter scale. It was so loud in the Seattle stadium, the Richter scale picked up like a small quake because of the crowd, and Sylvie. I believe there is a former bear who is in and on that play for the Saints defense, right? Wasn't Alex Brown. I believe so wanna play on the play? I believe so. That's good Recall by you, CREss. That's really good. All right. Next caller, while very good for a hater to a guy that cheers against his favorite or his local teams, just Thoma and LaGrange, Tom Huh? Yeah. Hey, what's up? How's it going? Oh, it's fantastic. Let's do this. Let's do it right. Here we go. We're sticking in that same game. All right, where we're keeping it to that Bear Seahawks game 2010 season first round This is a real tough one. Why don't I don't I don't know how anyone's going to get this. Unfortunately, you drugged drew the short straw here. Of course, Here's the question well, Matt Forte rushed for a game high 80 yards against the Seahawks. This bear's back up running back, scored a touchdown and added 44 yards on the ground. He is best known for his years in Baltimore and and Minnesota..

"Is in on first down hurts and the gun on first down. Hey, hands off the Sanders and Sanders spends forward for five. Jalen hurts is in and stays in. I still have a lot of belief in a lot of lot of faith and trust in in Carson and And as I've said, this is not about one guy. We have a lot of things to fix offensively, but But I do believe that Carson will will will will get himself back. Tonto, You know that championship level. Doug Peterson on his quarterback. That was Meryl Reese, the legendary voice of the Philadelphia Eagles and equals radio last week. Look hurts, gave that offense a little bit of a spark, but it's time to look at what happened. Carson Wentz again if you go back to this date three years ago, You're looking at a guy in his physical prime who was about to lead the number one team in the NFC toe, a 13 and three record through the 13 weeks that he was on the field. They were 11 and two He had already compiled 3300 yards 33 touchdowns against only seven nineties. Had Carson Wentz not gotten hurt in that game in Los Angeles. The Eagles would have been the one seed, he would have been the quarterback he would have thrown for 4000 yards and 40 touchdowns. And very obviously would have taken home the NFL M V P award. And yet upon that injury, everything crashed down around him, and he has been Progressively worse since And talking to people around the league. This is perplexing. How does this happen? How does Carson Wentz look this bad? Well, I think that there's a myriad of reasons. I think number one is, Peterson says. This is a complete breakdown by the offense. The offensive line is a disaster right now. Offensive line is injuries and inconsistency and garbage play, and it's really affecting one's also from a roster build standpoint, he does not have the weapons that other elite premier quarterbacks do. And so he's struggling there to develop. Some of those guys also dug. Peterson's play. Calling also appears to be very confusing. Why you wouldn't want to get the ball out of his hands quicker, especially with an offensive line. That's a sieve is anybody's guess. Ultimately, Doug Peterson is responsible for how his offense looks as a whole. And the pressure of what happened in 2017 has got to factor in here, considering that that was a team that was built with Carson Wentz in mind. Fools takes over leave the Cinderella charge to a Super Bowl. And after that there's a statue built two foals and Doug Peterson that Carson wants us to look at. And now he's trying to replicate that magic. While maybe not having the same Advantages that Nick Foles had, and it's getting into his head. But I talk about historically speaking, this has never happened because I went through the list of 60 years of NFL MVPs. And it is a monster. Kind of indicator. It is an incredibly accurate indicator of who is going to make the Pro football Hall of Fame when you look at 60 years of MVPs It's hard to find guys that don't make Can't it? And you certainly don't have guys that are just kind of anomalies one year and then never have another great year without some type of explanation. You will have non hall of Famers like Earl Moral Roman Gabriel John Brody that wanted back in the seventies. Larry Brown is a running back one of those well in the seventies, but those guys Had career years of the middle of very good career season to the middle of very good years. All of those guys had very good careers that were multiple time all pros or pro bowlers and Many of them, you know, played 14 15 16 seasons for brown little bit less because he was a running back. But you know that was not crazy. Just had great seasons. In the eighties. It transitioned into if you want the EVP, you were likely one of the greatest ever to do it. Marcus Allen, lt Elway, Montana. Thurman Young, Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders, Brett Farve TV Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk. All those guys won the M v P nearly in succession. The odd man out From the eighties and nineties is Boomer a science in who had to get a really good career and one wonderful season, the 1988 in the 2000. Same thing happened. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Adrian Peterson, LaDainian Tomlinson, All of those guys Hall of Famers. Shaun Alexander was the one guy that didn't make Canton and won't make Canton but he was also Just driven to the ground by his usage. At that time when you look at Sean Alexander he was already in his late twenties, when he won the M V P And then war down with injuries the next couple of years. The only comparison you could make to Carson Wentz in terms of the VPs will be 1980 Brian site. And he helped the cardiac kids and the Cleveland Browns to an amazing season and he had a great year. A quarterback. That's also not like this for Carson wants, because by the time that he wanted He was already 31 years old. He was the 13th round pick Sipe was the outline. It was not supposed to win it M v p You could even become a starter until 27. So when he went down, and he was never that great again in terms of his career, it wasn't surprising. Rich Gannon one, then be people. He was 37 years old, again injured the last two seeds of his career. There's never been an M V P Like Carson Wentz would have been 25 years old. That lost his game so cataclysmic. Lot of cataclysmic Li like he has As though it was Rick Ankiel unable to find home plate. As that was Chuck Knobloch unable to throw to first base. This is got to be mental. For Carson Wentz. It has got to be Because physically speaking, he can't be this bad. I mean statistically. He's the worst quarterback as a starter in the NFL. It doesn't make any sense considering where he was just three years ago. I think it could only be a confluence of reasons. You can't be just one. Because everything has to go sideways on you for to go this badly. Jalen hurts has a huge challenge. Today. We'll see if you can live up to it. If he does one, say getting his job back this offseason and the Eagles are gonna have to decide what to do with him in the off season. The cap it that's gonna be exorbitant. Even if they don't have him on the roster. Meantime. When you walk inside the Span of yesterday's college football action. One thing stood out and that was how cool Army Navy still is It really is still an amazing experience. Even when there's no fans in attendance like yesterday, even though you had cadets and Etcetera in the in the stands. But when you saw what happened yesterday between Army Navy a 15 nothing win by army. It makes you realize Army Navy should be played on campus at least once. Every five years. Straight off the right side and into the end zone Touchdown. Army. Again they shipped over the left tentacle to the right tackle means you have three.

Carson Wentz Doug Peterson Carson Army Navy Barry Sanders Jalen NFL Eagles Philadelphia Eagles Pro football Hall of Fame Meryl Reese Army Larry Brown Nick Foles Canton Earl Moral Roman Gabriel John Sean Alexander Shaun Alexander

"We're going through our expert consensus running back. Rankings we'll news and notes and try. There's got some trivia for us. Boys how are we doing? Hello Jakup we are doing well today. It's a beautiful weekend. Mother's Day weekend shoutout to all the mothers out there spent my weekend doing a lot of yard work. It's been really nice to get outside and enjoy the nice fresh air. I'm finally the DANDELIONS are starting to die so I'm pretty excited about that. Yeah as Matt said happy. Mother's Day to all the mothers out there I am doing wonderful. Matt's grass is looking really really nice. Did you. Just say his crass or something? Thanks guys how you doing. I'm doing well mad. I will compliment you with the Dan. Lyons know start to die off. I know you're really concerned about that. So Yard's looking good looking forward to see what it looks like. You're in a little more a couple days. Yeah I appreciate it boys. I'm really into making sure my air looks nice. Thank you for the shout outs all right. Let's dive on in Matt. Sounds like you got some news for us. We have some overtime new starting off. Shout out and rest in peace to Don Shula. He his way at the age of ninety. Don Shula coach of all time. He finished with three hundred. Twenty eight wins. He coach for thirty three seasons. Seven with the colts in twenty-six with the dolphins. I want to ask you guys here. Bill check is third all time with winds. He is fifty five. Wins behind? Don Shula give me on a scale of one to ten the likelihood that ballot check passes. Shula for the most wins as a coach. All Time you said on a scale of one to ten yes most likely I will say twenty-seven really yeah. I think it happens to one hundred percent. Well let's talk about that fifty five more wins. That's a minimum of what six seven seasons? That's correct how old is village. I don't know he's got to be getting up there. I'm sure he's in his sixties at least but the I see him coach. Little bit longer. They're gonNA take. Trevor and Trevor Lawrence is going to jump them right back into the ten win seasons. Yeah the DUDE. Lives eats breathes football. That's all I can do cool. I'd love to see it on next that we got on overtime. News Frank Gore. The ageless wonder turns thirty seven this week. Thirty seven years old and he's still getting it done signs a one year deal with the New York. Jets what is your initial thoughts on that. You guys don't really have a whole lot of thoughts. Matt had said earlier on some conversation with them. He's afraid for Lebanon getting some touchdowns taken away. I still think on has a decent fantasy season. Gore's just nothing special in my eyes. He's there to steal one hundred and forty carries and all the goal and work so rip. Levian Bill I have feelings on it and instead it's awesome. I Love Rank Gore. Thirty seven years old and he's still getting it done at the running back position. You don't see it much it's awesome. Do you know at Frank Gore runs with I a lot of things. What more and that does. Not just I mean you gotta respect it. That he's still getting it done at this age but yet for Levian bell man I already had levy on bell low on my list drops down even more to lose some of the goal line work. Adam Gates didn't want him there in the first place and then they went out and got him for your fifty two million because Adam days doesn't have much say in the team and you're going to see it this season especially bells gonNA lose a lot of value in a lot of valuable touches. Let me ask you guys this. Is Frank Overhaul Famer? Absolutely one hundred percent. Yes he is as you said the most unexciting career but yes. I think he's a hall of Famer as well. I think it's one hundred percent guarantee that free is a first ballot hall of fame running back or an all right moving on still does not rhyme moving on Earl. Thomas was held at gunpoint by his wife. I don't know if you guys saw this or not. This is a family show so I'm not going to go into details but I urge you to go read the story Larry Warford released by the saints. This is going to be a huge signing for somebody to bolster their offensive line offensive. Line a position that is really tough to fill especially at this point no post draft. So it's really surprising. Release Saints just made some signings They didn't have the salary cap form though and had to release them. Larry Warford on the waivers free agency. Who's GONNA get him? Boys just show is what impacts the twenty twenty. Nfl draft is showing right now with the Ruez slide in there as far as where he is going I would say the Chicago bears would be my. I guess yeah I can see a team like Chicago. maybe even Arizona. I thought of to and I would love for the Vikings to tickets to but we have no salary cap. Yeah the Vikings would have to get extremely creative. If they're gonNA make a move there but I agree. I think the bears are favorites. Land of I would think in the next couple of days. He's going to be off the market so we should have our answer to that. Pretty quick all right fellas. That is everything that we have for the overtime news for today. Tyler what do you got for Trivia around the topics of this episode? And it's going to be all about the running back. Sounds good. What are you up? So I have a list of the top ten rushing touchdown leaders and while take turns alternating on who can select one and we'll play three-strikes again. You'RE GONNA have to start mixing these up. Should Google this ahead of starting to see a trend all right matt. Why don't you go ahead and flip going? I'm going with tales this time tales. It is you got it right. Why don't you start us off here? All right I'M GOING TO START WITH. Who I think is the most easiest way I wanNA make sure I'm understanding. You're just saying the top ten touchdown rushing touchdowns of all time correct emmitt Smith EMMITT. Smith had one hundred and sixty four touchdown. Walter Payton one hundred and ten touchdowns for Mr Peyton I will. Adrian Peterson had one hundred eleven. Eric Dickerson Wall seriously. Healy had ninety. He is tied for thirteenth. Ooh Okay I got a few more though. I WANNA in three-strikes Jake's not out of it perfect Pretty early strength for you though Jake would you would you have said Eric Dickerson saving him? Actually Shaun Alexander's gotta be on there. He had the even one hundred ladainian. Tomlinson coming in at second with one hundred and forty five. I'm GONNA with Marshall. He actually was with Schon. Alexander at one hundred getting close here has drawn a blank and throwing out their priest Holmes. Not Real confident about that. One won't respectable guests. Yeah he was number. Fifteen with eighty six held our boy. Jim Brown with one hundred and six touchdowns. I'm running out now man. I thought about that. I just didn't think he played long enough to get that money. Oh it's happening right here. I have no idea where to go with this Jeez just hit the BUZZER. But I'll throw out a name here. Larry Johnson. I know it's way wrong but I can't think of it. I guess all right you want already. So don't blow it here. I won't Marcus Allen's got to be on the list. And how will the guy we talked about this morning? Frank Gore. Not even in the top fifteen. So we have John Regan's with one hundred four who would not bury sanders with ninety nine. I should have. We should have got again. I thought same thing with Jim Brown. Just didn't think he played long enough to accumulate that many touchdowns but I clearly was really bad at this game so moving on. I got a question for you. Boys who is your favorite. Nfl running back of all time. That did not play for our Minnesota Vikings for me. We actually just talked about him. He came in at number ten on the all-time touched on list. At Ninety nine Mr Barry Sanders is a great running back to watch with those lions always tearing up the Vikings. Yeah I'm disappointed. I never got to see a game that he played in. Just not as old as you. Who is your favorite running back? Jake mine well guess. Show my age a little bit here but Ladainian Tomlinson. The dude is just an absolute stud for fantasy football. And that's what got me to start watching Lady Ladainian. Tomlinson catch the ball. Throw the ball. Yes said throw the ball and he can obviously run the ball. The Dude is just total package and he was so much fun to watch. I think my favorite running back of all time is Shaun Alexander. I really like Shaun Alexander because that was really when I was getting introduced to fantasy football. I think it was two thousand five. He had twenty five touchdowns twenty six touchdowns e carried me to one of my championships that year. He was just a lot of fun to watch. He was a beastie played. Every game is very durable game in his first six years so really like durable players that score touchdowns and that was Sean Alexander a beast. If I'd let you guys include Vikings. Would you have all chosen? Adrian Peterson No. I think I would have okay Robert Smith. Yeah that's a good one too all right. Well let's jump on into the consensus rankings. Here let's do it so similar to the quarterback in tight end positions we're GONNA run through our consensus rankings for the running back week. Send it a little bit. We're going to go one through twenty and if someone disagreed on a particular pick a little bit we're going to dive into them a little bit more and explain why starting off with our rankings. Here actually our top six. We all had the exact same kinda thought that was surprising. Guys find that audit all that we all had the same six. Yeah it was pretty odd especially kind of blind without talking to each other. Just tossed them into a spreadsheet. Yeah I think it is a little surprising that we have exactly the same but I think the top six is pretty clear. Also not that surprising but it's just a little strange that we have been the exact same order. The exact same order was the part that I was surprised. That but Coming in at number one. I don't think this surprises anybody Christian McCaffrey Yeah Christian. Mccaffrey is the number one player in any fantasy football league. Don't try to get cute and go a different direction if you have. I picked you take Christian McCaffrey. It's that simple. Last year he finished with four hundred fifty six points and full point. Pr Leaks. That's one hundred fifty points higher than the next running back and it was fifty more than Lamar Jackson. Yeah it's crazy you know. It's no surprise. He's coming in at number one last year. Identity by much into the CMC train but this year definitely full steam. My number one. Yeah what did that cost? You not believe in AC- MCI hype. Train I tend to forget my losses only celebrate the Victory Tauscher. Sounds like a gambler. Well I remember 'cause I want a nice little dinner from you has really nice of you. What was your guys bet? You're welcome tyler. Did Not Think Christian. Mccaffrey was going to finish a top five fancy running back last year and he was very very wrong. Not your best very wrong. I really don't think too much needs to be said about. Mccaffrey lasts you though yet. Fourteen hundred yards rushing and one thousand yards receiving. That's just absolutely incredible draft number one overall. My only question to you is. Are you at all worried about the workload? Because he did get somebody touches. So many targets inevitably. That's GonNa come down and just a bit. Are you guys worried about that at all? Yeah I don't think he's GonNa hit that many points this year. He's not going to see as much of the target share. And then who knows what's going to happen with the new quarterback in town how that's gonna how that's GonNa play out for them. The new quarterback in town though is teddy bridgewater and he is better than Kyle Allen who had most of last season. So I don't know I think I think rose appoint even more. What do you mean? If he's better he's going to be passing more. Probably Not Christian. Mccaffrey technically checks down a little bit more. Though I think that Last year they ran a lot of designed passes. That were supposed to go to McCaffrey. I think there's going to be a lot more natural check downs from Teddy and even if he loses one hundred points he was still the number one running back last year..

"Fact that team the club ordered these uniforms for the World Series in one thousand nine hundred Gordon the World Series, they ordered new uniforms and the reds are going to throw back to nineteen nineteen these uniforms, heavy, it's kind of a slight alteration of the sea with the reds in the logo on the front. There is a more pronounced claw shape. See on the caps. It's button-down pinstripes. Red belt. Numbers on the back. No name on the back to color. Stirrups red at the top of the stirrups white on the bottom of the stirrups Ed row, Sean Heiney, grow, and others would have worn these uniforms in nineteen nineteen that team won the World Series, five games to three a best of nine back, then perhaps, you've heard that series was tainted as they say the black SOX scandal, eight Chicago. White Sox players found guilty of conspiring to lose the World Series. But the reds, I've seen them, you're gonna love them. They are going to look, so wait on Sunday in their nineteen nineteen throwback uniforms, that is your reds threads presented by Branstetter kangaroo, and their lifetime shingle roof system. Thanks, dwayne. Glad to have him on board. Glad to be doing this segment throughout the season. All right. Let's see I the more I thought about this during the break. I think the argument could be made. Keith Cleese career is not, it's, it's a work in progress versus Shaun Alexander's whose resume is written, so to speak now. It was pointed out on Twitter, who should give them credit Shaun. Alexander was also, if you're looking for evidence also on the cover of Madden. Well done. But how do we judge then answering this question? Sean Alexander's who who's resume is complete from a pro playing standpoint to Luke Keithly, who started who turned pro in two thousand twelve and has chapters still be written. Does that make sense? I'll give you the third name that I debated in my initial wave of the thought process, Heather mitts friend of the show, two thousand eleven World Cup won three gold medals three gold medals with US women's soccer team turned pro in two thousand. Has played head play had played over one hundred international matches representing her country. Played in a pro league. Played for her country. Heather mitts is a strong resume. I don't know that we've settled anything for, for what I'm going to tell the guys at this point, I'm st- I shot Alexander. I don't know how to view Keithly since he's not done from that standpoint he's going to accomplish more. He's going, there are going to be more pro bowls. I think it's safe to say and he's already got six. I think if I had to give them the answer right now. I think I'd give them lewke Klay. If you're just tuning in the, the question presented was what greater Cincinnati high school athlete. He's gone on to have the most successful decorated pro career here since two thousand somebody emailed said, oh, what about Ken Griffey junior? And I said, well, Ken Griffey junior didn't turn pro two thousand Rafter there's a timeframe for this. I think I'd lean Luke Keithly at this point. Milford we go? We talk netting Shirley, you were on seven hundred wwl w. Good evening. I'm okay. How about you? Oh I'm doing fine. But I gotta tell you that fourteen percent. You agree with the netting has never been hit by a PM Tim Raines line. Tell me the story. A year for years ago at riverfront friend, and I had pickets we were to those behind Montreal's dugout on the third day tied at rain tip of scorcher, right over the cop dugout, Mike, a big dummy, I stopped by hand up and try to catch the ball. How'd that go? Oh man. And these people that people just don't understand that. They've never been hit like that. I mean. This could hit me in the head or hit my friend kill. Yeah. This is not about. It's about safety for the yes, in when you couple it with the fact that anybody who's gone to a game can attest to this. The netting is not intrusive of your game experience. It, it eventually blends in, and I guarantee for, for people complaining have never been just go and report back to me. You're going to tell me I made a big deal about nothing because it does not hinder the game doing experience in the greater the greater. In the ballpark are right behind home. Absolutely. The diamond seats and I've never heard anybody say, oh no, I'm not gonna sit behind that net. I gotta diamonds needs give him to somebody else. Yeah. Yeah. I, I would like to meet the one lion. That wouldn't wanna pick their Shirley. Thanks for sharing the story. Appreciate jacket in no problem. Great show. Thank you have a great night. I, I have to ask this when we continue because I asked this innocently enough on Twitter. And deals with peer pressure, neighborhood peer pressure, and it deals with mowing your your your yard. Set it up this way, and we'll pick it up after the news. And I don't think this is maybe it is only maybe more this way. Do you hesitate to be the first in your neighborhood to mow on the weekend? At of respect for it's the weekend people sleeping in a little bit. I the only one who because I consciously what I wake up on Saturday, this past Saturday. I had to get the yard mowed.
