Crypto Stories: ETH as Money, Generalized Mining, and an Exploration of Web3 with Dan Zuller and Ryan Sean Adams
In this episode Erik is joined by Ryan Sean Adams (@RyanSAdams) of Mythos Capital and Dan Zuller (@danzuller) of Vision Hill Advisors. They talk about their backgrounds, how they became interested in crypto, and how that has informed what they are doing now with their companies in the space. Ryan explains why he’s structured Mythos as a holding company rather than a hedge fund or venture fund. Dan talks about how to bridge traditional finance and crypto and takes us through the current “money stack” that is worth an estimated 80-90 trillion dollars. Ryan talks about what he calls “maximalist hubris” and why he believes both Ethereum and Bitcoin can co-exist and both have massive upside. He explains why he believes that Ethereum is about 30% finished, Bitcoin is about 80% finished, and why in judging their probabilities of success, one should look at the finished end state and discount from there based on the probability of executing. They also talk about Web3 and why digital scarcity is the key innovation contained within it. They explain why people tend to overestimate the extent to which Web3 will disrupt Web 2.0 and why Web3 will instead disrupt the industries and companies that weren’t disrupted by Web 2.0 in the first place. The three discuss why one should think about work or utility tokens as analogous to taxicab medallions, which are similar to money — but that no coffee shop in NYC would accept in exchange for a coffee. They also talk about what other protocols still have a chance to be the “winning money,” tokenized securities, and the potential drawbacks of stablecoins. QB gurus, Brady v. Mahomes, Walton's job?, Murray's choice
I want to speak yourself. I'm Jason Whitlock. That's my sellers while he's that do coming up. We'll tell you. We've got more faith in Tom Brady or patch Mahomes this weekend. And if Luke Walton stays with the Lakers or are we start every day with a Whitlam? So which cut today. Oh one day soon. I hope Adam gays is the poster child of this quarterback Craig's era of professional. One day. I hope this picture on the cover of today's New York Post symbolizes the two thousand nineteen off season. The NFL has gone QB mad in hopes of creating ratings driving's quarterbacks. The league has massage the rules to the point that a referee actually thought and offense of Lyman hugging. His quarterback was a sack and stopped play. I'm convinced this is all part of a Russian plot to destroy football. I call it. The Putin principle stick with me. And I'll explain it in a second and how gays fits in. All right. See it's not just the rules. Where massaging the quarterback crazes created the fake news narrative that the best head coaches are BFF with the quarterback when the two thousand nineteen season kicks off twelve of the NFL's thirty two head coaches will have played quarterback in college thirteen if you count Mike Zimmer's one season it Illinois state and another six of the. Coaches will be regarded as quarterback gurus the latter categories where Adam gaze falls, and while cliff Kingsbury is widely regarded as the worst head coaching hire this off season. He's the only coach to fail at Texas Tech in the last thirty five years, I believe gaces press conference yesterday with the jets makes him the new leader in the clubhouse. Take a look at the man leading the New York Jets. Is that the look of a leader? Or is that video all you need to see the understand why gays crashed and burned in Miami. Adam is not an NFL head coach. He's a quarterback guru. There's a major difference gases in NFL head coach because of the relationship he developed with Peyton Manning when they were both in Denver. Manning swears by his former offense coordinator, they both loved film study and strategy preparation. They talked and texted football incessantly when they were in Denver. That's great. That's what may gaze a great partner for Manny light. Manny gazes a football nerd, but there are fifty other players inside a football locker room besides the quarterbacks and the wild eyed little Vladimir Putin isn't the right coach for those fifty guys. The jets are about to experience the Putin. In principle. It's an offshoot of the Peter principle gays has been promoted to his level of incompetence operation. Putin. Principle is a Russian scheme to influence the entire NFL and undermine the values that made the league in America. Great this whole Vladimir gay saga reminds me of my favorite scene for my favorite TV show. The wire remember, Wendy Angelo was sitting in the pit and explained to the young hoppers. What happened to the man who invented the chicken mcnuggets? And Ronald McDonald didn't write that, dude. No big ass. Check and promoting the president of all the McDonald's that dude is still sitting in the basement at McDonald's tearing the bone out of chicken and voting in the little biddy mcnuggets exact same wages, and he's doing it right next to the dude who invented cutting fish in the squares for the filet of fish. That's america. It's what makes us great. The NFL needs to read the rediscover those values and quit acting like every. Assistant coach who played a little quarterback are became friends with a great quarterback needs to be promoted to head coach. Here's the gold. Standard of NFL coaches, Bill Belichick, Vince Lombardi Bill walls. Chuck, no, Joe Gibbs Tom Landry. Don Shula Bill Parcells and Jimmy Johnson. Only one guy on that list. Play quarterback in college Bill walls, play two years of San Mateo before transferring to San Jose State and playing tied in hell. Adam guys play football in college. He was a gopher for Nick Sabin and Michigan state gays should be Sam darnold quarterback coats. Not the jets head coach are joining the desk. Now, a Fox Sports NFL analyst marks out that. Sells the most draw with you. Let's start here. Anybody they will work. I'll be okay. And my overreacting to the press cop. You know, you are doing a lot you do it. I mean, look we learned that was young coats. And you saw that what? Book him up case also this do they go made me run through a wall that way, but be careful we'll lock you are overreacting don't judge a book by its cover. Because there's a lot of crazy looking coaches you right? Wait, headed your. Be careful. To say the kids. Sean Payton looks a little Creole look like cable, he a little off the Mark on me. Just be real. So I'll pay little saucy is Sean McVay ever gonna blink just be real. Like, he ain't never blinking. Oh, man. This as the cover boy man, they're gonna put him on the cover z q. Do right? That looks like Vladimir Putin. Hey, thanks. Rex Arab y'all to fat wreck said, okay. Let me surgery it up. I mean, it's been out there before we had coaches who could be genius and won't capacity, but not necessarily look represent that part. So look if you want to Costa have intensity why can't a coach where intensity I like, Adam gays because of? I like to Adam gates for one reason to more reason only. He actually took a team that really had no expectations and built them up to having some expectations. And you could say, look, he's not a great coaches. Now, tremendous we'll get to that. But just in this mean part and the overreaction, let's make sure to guy doesn't have any issues. This just be real nothing that is induced by health related issues. But beyond that, I could take a psycho looking coach I took a lot of crazy other coaches and my over. Are you? Yeah, you're overreacting but come on. That's a bad press conference. I mean, you cannot have your eyes dilated before you go. Do your opening press conference, can you? I mean, I Adam is a friend of mine, and I regard Adam is a very good coach. But I want to applaud you because one hundred percent agree with you the way the league has gone. They look at what they think is the way to create a coach they look at Sean McVeigh, and I have met with him on three different occasions. Now calling games that dude is an unbelievable human being. He is intelligent. He is sharp. He is particularly, and you know, what he develops a relationship. And that's the bottom line is do you have a coach that's in the relationship game. Because that's what we're all in your either in the relationship business or you're going out of business. That's it. That's final. And if you can develop a relationship with your quarterback. That's great. But like you said there's fifty other dudes outside that quarterback room that have to know you have their back, and it's. What about motivating those guys? It's about inspiring those guys to play for you. I played for one of those iconic coaches, you put up there, Joe Gibbs I've played for that, man. I played one Super Bowls for for Mike Shanahan, those guys are great coaches, but they related to the entire football team, and they weren't afraid to hold their quarterbacks accountable. And that's I am one hundred percent with you just because Sean McVeigh has taken the league by storm. Does not mean that any thirty year old that brushed up against Sean McVeigh has what he has the ability to communicate the ability to be authentic and ability to inspire players ought to react. No perception is reality kinda reminds me of remember when Ben mcadoo got the job for the giants. And he did the ten challenge. Earlier would that big old suty war at right yet? Really that oversize flight. In look how that turned out. Oh, that's the reason. No. No, it's an it's the perception. Like man stop. You. Can't take him serious. Dude is like this the whole time. Yeah. And so he goes back in relationships all coaching is is being a psychologist. I gotta relate to each player on the team. And then you've got his former players laughing at it on social media. Yeah. They were sent off judge. I got traded to the eagles. And he's saying Jarvis Landry to the Cleveland Browns. But that matters I've been with coaches that I didn't like, but I respected them because they were honest with you, and you can communicate and we have somewhat of a relationship when you don't have that relationship. Any pisses you out the first thing you're gonna think of is that that's all you're going to end. It wasn't like authencity. He's quarterback girl to lick. It the Miami. See look at the Miami Dolphins you all simply lick at them offense. At least says he's been hired total offense thirty I get back. They were all fence of guru. But that gets you a. NFL is because of what he said they're all looking for. He should be the quarterback coach like they were thirty first and offense. He's become to Miami Dolphins. Hey, okay. And go to first of all you shouldn't be talking about perceptions reality because I'm not gonna lie and you notice there was a day. When if somebody looking like TJ showed up on his team play plays football. We questioning your toughness that low here. Don't care. Right, right. We look at only tale like is. He ready is he 'bout that? You prove them wrong. And he's the head cold. Thank mama player. But everyone has something to prove. And there's a lot of great coaches that live. Load off. Secondly, okay, got started do is the league to obsessed with this quarterback thing and quarterback coaches, the Nguru thing absolutely not. And it's amazing. If you look at what Adam gates has been able to do what wide receiver who was off injured at transacted in the first round, Manny and have all personnel decision making. But he got a wide receiver and converted into enough wins where he has more wins in his first three years than a greatest coach of all time. Bill Belichick and the guy has a postseason appearance and finished second in the division of fire. Okay. Got fire. But hey, Bill Belichick. Also at the same time should have got fired by the number you comparing him bell say right now he'll pays the Bill to check them. Also what I'm saying right now. And you know, why this guy is officer minded try to fix something that couldn't be fixed. Because ten a hill was often. I've always said this about a coach. All right. A head coach has got to be able to command his audience whether. That audience is one on one with the player whether that audience is standing in front of your team meeting talking to all your players, whether that's one on one with coach or one on one with coach are the entire coaching staff. And whether it's the media that does not look like the face of a man whose commanding his audience right now. And that is that is that's, but they said there was some thirty euro he younger player, you know, what else they said with Doug Peterson. They said that's the worst higher in the history of the National Football League with Doug Peterson. And I just watched Doug Peterson greet every one of his players as they came off a loss. Thank them for the season. Hugged on 'em loved on them. That's the billion Mark relations. So that goes a long way when it goes does that man that that was a long way for jokes for means? Yeah. But in reality it seriousness, I'm not tripping on how you look this. If you're going be in tips, and you're gonna look into this morning, Schottenheimer respect the coast. Didn't look we're. But he cried Elise twice. We are. War season. And we all know this to be a man and crying front other men. That's a sign of strength. I'll give you a sign of weakness growing up, but that's a sign that she'll is that a sign that is is is just going all over the place. Weirdness yet. He's off wear. That's very awkward. You just don't when he's in over his head is not the look that commands respect ag- again, though, because I just don't want to beat up on Adam gays though because we beaten up wanting pretty good enough. I go back to this quarterback. Coach obsession that the league has and Sean McVeigh is a different do clear yet. Listen, I was one of the last by the hype. I've now bought it he proved it this weekend the guy again, it's just what I said yesterday in order to get your team to play that game that the Rams played that physical. We're going to take you out and snatcher. So there's a speech to coach has to give to get his team to play that style of football. And this whole obsession with everybody being best friends with a quarterback, not every coach. And particularly a lot of these quarterback gurus. They came give that speech, Sean McVay. They can't even moat that they can't get that kind of emotion and energy and passion out of their team. We've gone too far with this quarterback. It's a copycat league for good reasons, especially right now, and you put up the montage of all the coaches of yesteryear, and they all were defensive minded, and they were all. Yeah. In defense, a minded ground a pound, and that was the era that was the style right now. It's about offense of minded coaches quarterback friendly coaches and think about it the top four teams who scored the most points in NFL this year are the same fourteen remaining in the playoffs. So the teams that were led by their defense Chicago Bears where the while two more ravens where they at even the chargers who had a great balanced attack. We're so if you want to say every ticket Bill so there what his team also whole stand. He's still goals. You show me it throughout this playoff run. You can go to the national championship game show me the team the control line of scrimmage on both sides. I'll show you the team that won every that's never going to say that that will never chain. So so the new the new school poor, but Adams, a good coach Adams, a friend of mine. Adam this is I've never seen atom. Look like this. This is absolutely it seen either. He got no sleep where he's on Energie dry. Yeah. Like, I don't know. I don't know what happened but going back to Sean McVeigh. Like I sat down I was watching film with Mike Shanahan. We're studying the passing game. He is the first guy to hire, Sean McVeigh. So here's Shanahan of a legendary coach been head coach for longtime back in Washington. When he went back to Washington hired, Sean McVeigh, he told me this. He goes I sat down with Sean McVay in the interview, thirty seconds. And I knew I'd hiring thirty. He sat down in the table. Thirty seconds. I go, oh, I'm hiring this guy. This guy is special. And that's what you do. That's when you meet with him. That's you just you come away with that. He is special and the owners are looking like the owners get around. You know, how they are? They're like, hey, give me one of those guys. They're human. They give me one of those guys. What's wrong with that? They do that with players. Look, they're very few special players and dinner a lot of damn good players. But when you see a Giovane curse out there. And I came out with the prototype was von Kerr's Jason Taylor. Jason Taylor was a third round draft pick in the same draft class as I and I was the second round and even to ask my, friends and my. I was at the combine with him. I'm like they make a mistake. Not the draft me. I have to hire he can play man just do was insane. But he was a Twitter that was a time where it was not fashionable to be a Twitter Jason Taylor history team, boom, boom next to, you know, where's the von curses? Whereas all the guys who are small who can't necessarily played a room but get out to the passer. This is the fad right now ride away because it leads to success. I mean, here's it tell you what the real fat is we can never talk about. And I'm gonna talk real curveball here in may upset some people, but I could care less. Here's a fad. It's not fashionable to talk about you know, what actually works to me in football. Every time. I see it virtually I it's not the quarterback guy is the Christian conservative dabbles Sweeney. Coach, I see it everywhere. It works people that can inspire people with their faith and just that energy that comes from having that faith that from. Vince Lombardi or since the beginning from Newt rock me all the way through the beginning of time. But there is no craze in fad to go out and hire the next Davos weenie or even Nick Sabin who doesn't wear his faith on this lead. But he's certainly conservative. There is no fad or craze. We don't popular is that. But now because Sean McVay can call a few plays. We got a higher every thirty five year old young coach in American. It drives me crazy respectful saying that I just don't know who is wearing their faith versus who's not who's agnostic whose atheists who's really devout. So I can't assess that all the way through guys to me guys. Joe Gibbs guys that are then tick. Yeah. And guys that will get the players guys that will get the players to sacrifice for one another. Let me great leadership happens when you care more about the people you lead, then you care about yourself. And if you don't have that on your football team, guess what you ain't gonna win a championship. That's just my personal experience. And I got three of them. And our teams all had that they had that Joe Gibbs once met me walk down not walking crushing out of the elevator. Only played on Sundays. It couldn't walk the rest of the week in nineteen Ninety-two asked me to come to his office. The next morning. I was sick all night. Didn't sleep wing thinking. Joe hates it. When people don't practice. Joe is going to cut me Joe is going to do something. I walked into his office a barely wrapped on the door. Barely wrapped on door hoping that he was sleeping, and he would invite me, and I'll be like, I showed up your office at the time you as you know in forty five nine o'clock meeting. Right. A walk into his office. I sit on the couch. He points to a greaseboard and goes, I want I want you. I he said man, I appreciate what you're doing for us. If you think you need to have surgery, if you're ruin your career, I want you to go have that surgery. He goes, but I want you to look at that Greece. Board. It was my name and fifteen other names on that greaseboard. He goes, I want you to know that I sincerely him on my knees. Everyday praying for you by name. And I appreciate the sacrifice that you make for this football team. I would step in front of traffic today for Joe Gibbs. That's the kind of inspiration. He created for his football teams. And why he had so much success? And I believe that that is the key to successful business, regardless of what your that's what they should be looking for more. So than Peyton Manning called and said man, we texted all night about Xs and os. He's hand. I mean, here's only say at least he stayed in the same division. He's probably he has the best young quarterback in the division. So he does know what he he's probably hoping to England is on their way out. Are for me that that right there? That's his odd. Man. You can't you can't dust. That's not my if he can go into that meeting room if he can go into that meeting room show the guys that he genuinely cared that. Biggest thing of a coach shows, you let's I pressured. So you got to you have to be able to get over that. And let me tell you something that's. I'm doing well. I just realized why I never want to championship, and you probably should too. In front of Notre. Now now, hey. Late for the right way about that. Sales of here you go Bill. There's something about auctions that makes shopping much more enjoyable sports fans, it probably has something to do with the competition in suspense that auctions provide. But who wants to spend time researching where their nearest auction houses? And then make the trek all the way there. I definitely don't. That's for Steen auctions, built P R. I S T I N E auction dot com. And when you register be sure to select the speak for yourself podcast from the dropdown menu in the how did you hear about a section this lesson? No, I sent. Let's move to Kansas City. Chiefs host the pages in AFC championship game. This sunday. Pettit beholden. Tom Brady will have to contend with more than just posing defenses. And Arctic blast expected hit Casey this weekend calls record lows possibly even dropping temperatures below zero by gametime and the matchup between the forty one year old Brady and the Twenty-three-year-old Mahomes is the biggest aids gab between playoff quarterbacks ever. All right. The question is who would you rather have this weekend, Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady? You know, I brought my chiefs head today. Oh now you back on her wagon nephews sent me for Christmas. I'm a chief fail. But I'm a realist. Yes. There's a guy with too much playoff history. Tom Brady, I have to. I gotta go Tom Brady just because of the experience the history. And then the the the real deciding factor to me is one quarterback is going to face a Bill. Bella check, Brian Flora's lead defense and the other is gonna face, Bob Sutton, and Andy Reid sitting on the bench talking to Patrick Mahomes while the defense is on the field. I'd rather be Tom Brady facing Bob sudden's, very predictable defense than Patrick Mahomes facing Bill Belichick, I will say both of them will all out. No question, but Mahomes has proved that especially last week that the the lights aren't too bright in the playoffs and elements are in to a averse he played well in those snowy conditions last week. So I'm gonna patch Mahomes. Tom Brady can't bring a history. And if he does bring that experience how much of that translates to success in two points gronkowski one one. Catch last week. I think there's going to be a different game plan. Obviously. Then when they face the chargers. This sounds simple, but get out his own or at least mix it up. Get your second level doesn't mix it up. He needs to talking to you. Bob Sutton right now. Please cover James whitened a- backs out of the backfield. Please please double Ataman and in gronkowski. A know you're great your future hall of Famer more than likely, however this year, not history present I wanna see you go out there and beat us with that. And if they come with a different game plan in a chargers did with the talent and Patrick Mahomes being at the quarterback position to where he played last week. I believe in a him. I say, it's my home. I'm gonna go with Tom Brady. There's nothing you can show Tom Brady that he hasn't seen. So it's not like that you're gonna confuse Tom Brady. Listen, I keep waiting for Patrick Mahomes to act like he's a second year quarterback. That's his first year starting and he never has and tip my hat to him. He has been absolutely unreal. But I know having played Bill Belichick defenses over the course of my career. I know how difficult they can be how much they can change. How many different looks? They can give you and it's not just that they give you different looks. They give you looks where they're they're creates a confusion at the line of scrimmage on how we're going to block things because they give you Shays. They give you personnel groupings. They give you things on the defensive side that make you designate if you break the huddle, and you've got a bunch of James Harrison linebacker types out there and James I know can play defensive end nickel, but he can play outside linebacker in base personnel. And you start mixing those things up as an offense of line. Creates confusion, it creates hesitation, if you create hesitation, guess what happens your quarterback gets it. And we create turnovers, and that to me is your ability to create that confusion up front your ability to give Patrick Mahomes, some things that he hasn't seen that he's going to have to adjust to over the course of game. And all it takes is one Ajay. All's it takes his one mistake in a game. Like this to be the difference. Now, he may go to the sideline, and they may figure it out and adjusted, but the mistake is already been made. That's why I'll go Tom Brady. Yeah. I'm which I'm going Tom Brady to and my biggest thing is the weather just as you saw where you were running the reels you see the Kansas City Chiefs practicing inside indoors during all that you look at the patriots. They're outside in the snow in the weather. You know, getting getting practicing he's used to that weather. I think he's what thirteen into and what they call, you know, inclement, weather or whatever. So my my reasoning is all because. Of what they're going to have to deal with you know, if it drops to subzero temperatures. I'm James, that's interesting. 'cause I'm on the other side of the argument as a release to weather, and I say it just I've been forty one and I've been twenty three and when I step out into the cold at forty one feels different when I'm twenty three. And I know, but you've got stronger mindset now too. When I was younger cold weather bothered me. You know what I'm saying? But as I got older, and I got a stronger mindset it I just wash it away. You know, what I'm saying Tom Brady is literally the first one out there like when it was like negative fifteen and catches like, dude. I don't believe he bought the habits. He like, hey, I want here. Let's go. He's the first one out there. Let's get it. Let's get going the weather. He doesn't think about the weather, man. It's built in you know, he's firing the ball to these guys. They're catching these hard balls in this cold weather, and they're they're learning that you know, what I got. I am have to body something I may have to hand something depending on you know, how hard that ball is coming or how hard it feels from it being so cold. So. So that's something. They get used to. They get to get that practice in like, I said you saw right there. The chiefs were indoors right there wireless indoors or he may not have to worry about the weather because he is Tom Brady. But that chiefs defense when they're at home is a different defense, and they even play well down the stretch we saw last week against Indianapolis. But look at the numbers of points per game do slash them in half. They only give up seventeen points a game at home in Arrowhead, and the seal is the best pass rushing defense in the NFL, and they get after you would just force dander, Russia's they don't even need to blitz. Now. Everybody in covers to try and do some I respect that. And they're going to need that this week especially gives Tom Brady. But that gives you flexibility when you could send four and still get the most Saxon NFL, I would say this the difference the juxtaposition of the two offenses. And I know there's a lot of side to side motion. A lot of kind of the jet sweep stuff and the ghost motion stuff with the Kansas City Chiefs, and they do a great job of that stuff. But at their core they wanna push the ball down the field. More than New England's dumping off the backs or. Underneath those are easier. Throws especially right, especially in the cold. You don't have to hold onto the ball and drive it down the football field. It's Affleck out to the flats where you are six yards. There will be a second down and four and our whole playbook is opening as far as gronkowski's concerned. I know he only caught one ball. But let me tell you. What on the line of scrimmage is an inline tight end. Also what they do with him and the Wham game. And in the fake Wham game the play action. He was phenomenal to me at a great game and didn't make an impact catching the football. And as long as he does that man. He'd makes a difference on the field on Sundays. Okay. My other point about Lou Patrick Mahomes. More towns to the future of the NFL door coming into his prime, but Andy Reid again. I I'm sorry to be so critical of any reading. But if I have to trust a coach to handle the conditions and anything that goes on in the game with their quarterback, Amy re gives to pass happy, and and will not. Run the football when it's obvious. He should did you see new evidence last week of that? So they got up on them control their game that was the much easier game and Andrew lucked play terrible. But Andy Reid is a pass happy coat. I just wonder if he'll be if the conditions make it that you can't pass as much and without Kareem hunt back there if he will stick with the past or will he do the right thing? I don't have that worry as it comes to Tom Brady, Josh mcdaniels and Bill Belichick. They're gonna do whatever's necessary to win the game. Andy Reid a lot of times. Does what he likes to where everyone knows when you play the patriots. They won't lose the game. You're going to have to beat them. You got to take it from. They just they don't make those unforced errors to the level. Where is coming back to harm them? So you're gonna have to go out there and play vicious more game played this that's on every reading the cheese. But can this is different different? I want them back with locking Wiley. We're joined now by NBA champion, Dante Jones. Let's move to the NBA where the Lakers sees him has taken a huge turn for the worst since LeBron James went down with a groin injury. LA is just three and seven without the including bed. Losses to the Cavaliers in the Knicks. And now, Luke Walton is considering a lineup change, but speculation is going to the Lakers brass might be considering a coaching change, especially if they lose to the lowly bulls tonight. All right Magic Johnson. When he gave that half-hearted vote of confidence said unless something drastic happens, Luke Walton will keep his job. And you know, what drastic capper LeBron James went down and say, you know, what I'm gonna come back after Luke is gone. Wow. You're going that far. We we're a so. Really no now with a groin injury. As soon as he hurt the engine hurt his growing. I remembered they showed in zoomed in on his lips. He said I felt the pop once he said that told everybody in a room that's a month. That's a month of his as I think you read his live from it. I want pop of. And I come back. Probably won't him too. This is weird. This is because Luke Walton shouldn't be graded right now without his best player on his roster thing about the entire is as training. I mean, it's bigger than that. Even the world. And you design it would hit bigoted. The whole place LeBron focused, then LeBron's gone. And you know, what it is athlete nature. Are we going to try and play together? But it's time to get those suppress numbers back up. And there is like a lot of individual parts, especially off festively defensively is a better team without LeBron. They went to second in defensive rating, but that's not helping them win gays because they're not put up the points. I just say, this is mulligan time. If you're talking about Luke Walton you not great a guy without his best player on court win when last seen team. What are they doing the grading? And okay, he doesn't pass the coq one thing I know about his character as he if he can play he will play like that's not in the discussion with me in my in my personal opinion about LeBron James because he's a guy that likes to go out there perform play his game, the mind games and control of the organization is not something that he does as a person. It's just that. What the media's perception of him is he has an opinion he has his opinion on on on different things. But it's not necessarily. I'm going to go in and make a make a commandment to to the to the ownership organization. However is the scrutiny on Luke Walton unfair. Yes. But the scrutiny on NBA coaches is unfair and the scrutiny right now is not about the performance without LeBron James is about about beating teachers are supposed to be beating teams that you're better than Chicago, New York. Minnesota Cleveland, they're better than them without LeBron James and the I their roster is better than them. They won thirty five games last year. But but but those those those teams are not winning basketball teams, and you should be able to put together a team that goes out there and communicates and plays defense, and is inspired. And those are the things that coaches are judged upon whether he's lost the ear of the team. And we don't know that from the outside the organization knows that if those guys are not prepared and not motivated on a daily basis if they're not responding to him. That's how he's going to be be evaluated. Do I think it's unfair. Yes. But that's what that's what your job is. As a kosher. Your job is to inspire lead. Communicate get guys go through and and take care game plans. And if you can't do it without your best player, then then then you have to be held responsible Somerset while I'm not gonna dance, and I'm sure you guys are either fit in the room is this is not their higher in Luke Walton. So, you know, I it is we always fair when we don't feel you to the degree. We're always looking for evidence to get you out. And is just like right now, this is more ammunition towards that evidence. That Luke Walton is not our God if they were to walk the Lincoln Riley magic applying if they would have walked in with the spirit of he is there guy glass half full, then this wouldn't be evidence of that. This will be evidence of this is a good team close, but they need to star power. Now, we're using this as evidence Luke one can't command guys because without LeBron this team came his comments after the Minnesota game. When he said, the guys are not playing hard, and they're not communicate. And that's. Your job to get them to communicate and play hard. Honestly and truthfully. And he can he can be judged on those things. Yes, is very very very unfair. And you're absolutely correct. When you come in as a GM, and is a president you want your job is to be able to put what you the best product. You cannot there on the floor, and that's coach and players, and you are responsible for hires that maybe not are yours at times in production. This was sound critical. But it's not just factual. There's a force within the Lakers organization that stronger than everything else stronger, the Jeanie Buss, strong and imagine Pelinka wall. And it's LeBron James LeBron James is a force of mater within basketball that has the solar system and energy source. All it's all and when you take that away. I think it becomes harder to coach Lonzo ball ING. Everybody else on the team because LeBron is your source of power, he Samson's long hair. And so I'm gonna go back to our motto reference day MC. Minimum for me SPN's been covering LeBron for a long time. Here's what he said. In a story last Friday while James thirty four could be in line to return in time for the Lakers game against the thunder this Thursday, he will take a cautious approach and is prepared to be out multiple weeks. If that's what it takes to return at one hundred percent. A a source familiar with James's thinking told ESPN, and this is where my point Dante is like in the NBA and regular season in January February it was a lot of guys that ain't one hundred percent NFL mid see a lot of guys eight hundred percent, but they're out there. And this is a calculated decision again. I look LeBron wants to different coast. They need to give it to them. You can you can speak to this. And after this. When you have injuries when you're older, it's a total different ballgame. You know, they linger and a problem with Chris Ball right now is that his stuff is lingering into multiple seasons. And if you look at the landscape of injuries point, you have to take your time and take care of your body going out there playing hurt is not the answer. Most of the time like guys go out there and guys have injuries and not one hundred percent. But there's some stuff that can linger effect what he's really judged upon. And that is the playoffs you judge? Lebron James not on his regular seasons with Seagate's. You judge him on what he his his production in the playoffs. And if he brings you a championship, and if this is something that could stop that. Then I gotta look at to it. And it makes sure that I'm one hundred percent because me being one hundred percent is one hundred percent in March and April echoed and LeBron James if he has the power he doesn't have to take the extra time to to use that same power. He can just say, look, this is what I want you guys gonna give if he has that power if he doesn't then this won't work either. Because you don't have the power. So this is more powerful than him saying. Anything just sitting out? Far more poet thirty five win team. In contrast. I don't think it really lands where he wants it to thirty five win team teams always say, it's your healthy. When when when you are the judge of your health, your doctors are going to say you should be. Okay. But I know when I feel I know when my body's not right? And if I'm not, right? I can't go and be me. And if I'm if you LeBron James he's seventy five percent, and he's not doing his opposed to where we're going to be talking about the Brian James doesn't has it anymore. And he can't get it done. And he's not doing he's supposed to in Los Angeles. So I got to be able to do my full job. And I respect that as a man to be able to say, you know, what I'm not ready. I'll do it. I'll do it when I can't. And I'm gonna try to do at the best level rather than just give you a half you've made excellent points. But I stand by my always we heard a pop of. Well, back to the show would lock and Wiley March slur at TJ zodda, Tom from my favorite sex antisocial. We moved it up a little bit earlier. I Don L couldn't wait. I think Dardanelles got a doctor's appointment later in the weight room. Oh, go on L Smith our social media manager here and tell us what's happening in the social media world Arnelle. What's poppin? Yeah. Start off in the NFL where bears Cody parkey went on the today show and talk about his double doing misfield. Go gets the eagles during wild weekend bears fan made it knowing on Twitter that they were pissed and thought he was being selfish even bears head coach Matt Nagy said and all locker room, we talk about a week thing. And that was more of a meat thing. We'll do you guys have a problem with party going onto the today show. I really don't I don't get this controversy at all, you know. I don't think he was making excuses or anything. I don't get the concert. I don't see what the big deal. I think maybe the city of Chicago Bears fans, maybe trying to void a Steve Bartman situation because you know, how he got put out there in ostracize. I'll have a problem at all anybody who's reminding the world that life is bigger than football than games than sports. Don't condemn dude. He went through hail, and he's paying for it. I'm glad he's a drill. A we thing is are they we thing. They're gonna fire him, right? Like, yeah, they ain't firing the other fifty three they're gonna fire him. I mean that's doing that was the six one. He don't off the upright yet. It's not like he's going to be working there. So why do they care if he goes on? I don't I don't have a problem with it either. It's technically he didn't miss it f ill was bought. Oh, so technically he didn't miss the field goal. I it was like do. I have a problem with it. No. He owned up to it. After the game. He said it was his fault. We know that he will no longer be Chicago Bears season. We know that as well. So he's getting to space out there. Don L wasn't ex. Yeah. Moving onto a training Sabato Instagram, which I know I had to get in on everybody. Was that old Sav Miller? Oh, dear. Everybody's been participating in this team year challenge. Pose a periods of themselves some old nights. And now even got myself decided to join in the challenge posted this picture of him and his five XL pink polo in a pair of jeans. Are you disappointed that these? Jay's went out of style hail. Yeah. I'm just wondering we case either. Jeez. Right. Got the all up top that was amiss. Everybody's doing the challenge. And everybody's showing their worst picture from the best from now to show that they're not aging. I wanted to flip it a little bit like show, some jeans visa you remembered. I was winning back there. But boy, I look, a mess wuss. This can we go back to the picture now? Now. I got some questions here about of. Yeah. I wanna make. I want to the sides of Dr meals here. Only berry bonds the only guy. Alzira snus the fat is called cross fit. Not cross fat. Do. Hey, you with lock lock the Brooke eight hundred. Up. You look good. I don't know. Have you started living? No, not really I thought around if you look good. All right. The moving on to college football the Clinton Tigers. I all victory over Alabama and a national championship game rather the White House today for visit President Trump. The team was heard of a righty fast food, including Wendy's. Mcdonald's Burger King wish the White House. President Trump pay for out of his own pocket. Now, don't get me wrong. I definitely throwing this down. But Twitter was a little to spread our yellow cab with listen at age twenty one twenty two if I walked into a room with Wendy's. Mcdonalds and Burger King and pizza. I'm happy, man. Heaven. Every time you go to football game in college. You see the keys excited Chick-fil-A excited in and out. What did you say what those big Donald chick fillet and out? I can't remember having Donald. Eric. I don't you can't get a rib eye or a steak. Booze. Lane alpha I'm going like, I wait a minute. I'm going to the White House. And I'm going to get the same thing. I get the suit union building. K seriously government shutdown y'all. Oh, McDonald's that double layer Fisher. When you saw. Role that man I was next on a high sticking with Clinton at the White House a pitcher making fun of their players service on Twitter with the caption. It's Belay bills off me. And all I was see a Big Mac. From the pitcher Matt Bachorz decided clapback saying in scholarship, a Stephen and education, a head coach cares, unless at least a national championship ring is sponsored haters here. Love somebody got adding. I love it. Now. Look, do I think college players should be paid the high profile ones. Yes. But for the majority of the college players like me it works out. Just great. Yeah. I mean, I love his response. But the hit dog hollers, and he did had to respond clam Bank. I mean, all the other guys ninety nine percent of those guys in that room will maybe Clinton so ninety five percent of those. That's all they're going to get out of the man, whatever those relationships are. And what they could build off a connection, which is amazing. But. College the best time of your life. No way yet. Is you see that picture me when f Rory now the best time? At one or ninety five percent of. Okay, man. Like, I'm telling you, the guardless give me so much more than it is taken from me and my best friends in the in the entire world of guys. I went to the university of ho with barn on clearly that's the case for me. I text with my guys from ball state every day. I wouldn't be here without playing football ball state. And I never got a whiff of the NFL. It's a great extent there. It is come by. A group. I tell about doing thirty for thirty on Oregon state. Rate. It. You would say oh, Google bishops? Hey, Danny was there Eric's me, Chad, Nick, Bornet one? There was we all played over ten years in the league Fogo. But one team, you know, if we have somebody from the you here, they'd run off a list of hall of fame. No, no, no, no. Just different already excess different. Area made to on that. He's trying to get a footnote on high. Now last. Herb and got idiots. Take a listen. If New England goes to Kansas City and wins this weekend. AFC wave the white flag. I mean, this is the most vulnerable they're ever going to be yellow group calling here. No, we said everybody says last year when a bit report came out and all the schism issues. That's the most vulnerable they'll be fraction in New England dynasty now this year, they're most vulnerable. You know, what I don't think they care about on ability. They just gonna go out there continue to roll, man. I I don't see the patriots be invulnerable until Brady retires. And Bella check leave h that's when they'll be most vulnerable right now. They still got the gold of quarterbacks and coach's house how they vote on. Which you went twelve is not taking snaps. That's as long as twelve is back there. They always got a chance I'm going for the chiefs this week for sure, but. Now, Tom Brady back there. They always got a chance. I think the thing that sets them apart is every year. They lose games early. They lost some late this year. But they do a better job than anybody. In my mind. The NFL is developing players over the course of the season where some of their players the beginning of the year. They're whatever at the end of their. They're actually really good football players testament to coaching seriously, anybody interested in Oregon, stay documentary, come up. Here. He's got a cold. Stay here's one they might as well do one on Boston. Now. That's. Hey. Ramos. Twenty seven losing seasons in a row BCS game. Come on, man. Thank you know. Hey. With lock wildly Mark slayer and James Harrison a bat moved to New Orleans with the saints host the Rams and Sunday's NFC championship game. The matchup is a showdown of two of the league's best offenses into of its best. Sean McVay and Payton while McVay has all the buzz this year Payton is a season hand Super Bowl win on his resume despite their differences. Both guys are among the top off into minds in the game. Sisters bay came into the league in two thousand seventeen both have kept their offense near the top of the league. All right. The question is which Shaan would you wanna have this weekend? Peyton or McVeigh? I'm gonna go with the hand of experience. I think what Sean McVeigh did last week was tremendous. I think it was the most impressive thing that I saw during the play offs and maybe this season. However, let's don't forget that Sean Payton last week called a fake punt from inside his own thirty five that turned that game. And so Sean McVay is still the same super aggressive. Innovative shopping all the coach he's still Sean Payton, and he's got a Super Bowl, and Sean McVay doesn't I'm gonna go with chomping go with McVeigh. And I'm gonna take the young Peyton take some big vague. And I don't have much evidence because there are no wrong choice here. Let's be real. I mean forget last week in the fake punt which was tremendous in the Super Bowl. I remember being there because I wasn't playing and I saw like coming out of halftime, the onside kick was changed the fortunes and they won that Super Bowl. So for me. Sean McVeigh because this offense was sputtering without Cooper Cup last three games. They've average thirty six points per game, this style of play that creativity. How he changes it up? Now, you bring in the CJ Anderson, and you immediately put them into the fold and the mealy get results from him that creativity daring this, and the fact that he's just a younger version. So who knows where his genius will take him? I know Peyton is. He's amazing. But I think we have something amazing in a younger version. I like the younger. Yeah. I think they're both incredible coaches, and I'm gonna go like you. I'm gonna stay consistent. I picked Tom Brady simply because been there done that scene that I'm gonna go with Sean Payton for the exact same reasons because he's been here he seen it. He understands it. And don't forget you make a great point fourteen nothing down in the first quarter. The eagles you go for it on that fake. Punt it changes the fortunes of your team you convert with your quarterback a bunch of big time third downs in that game. There. Both based you look at these two teams as much as we make for their passing game. And it's legit. They're both based at a wide zone. We want to run the ball. We wanna stab us that we want to set up play actions off of that some deceptive plaque to attack you down the football field. But I'm gonna go with the guy that's been there. I'm gonna go with the guy that has the experience go with guy that has will ring and jumping. Yeah. I'm with you guys. I gotta go pay gotta go with the experience. Like, you said he down fourteen there at home. Another thing there at home, you take that that fourteen Nutting, and you put them in in Philly with that it's a whole different turn out. So you know, he's been there. He's done. It is is easy. For me. I'm going to experience. What about the lightning that comes from Sean McVay and him touching and really just inspiring guys to go from good to great or even from bad to great. If you talk about Jerry golf before Sean McVay after Sean Todd Gurley who had a tremendous rookie year, but then fell off. And then here comes Sean McVay coop. Cup came in with all the question marks. And saying really is that your phone booth receiver? He's been amazing robber would. So it was a very good receiver in buffalo took the next step on the Sean McVeigh. Look I was splitting hairs here. But he's done a lot. He put a lot of juice in someplace careers. Listen, I believe the Rams are gonna win this game. Because I think they're going to do the same thing. They just did the Cowboys. They're going to beat him up on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Having said that imitation is the highest form of flat, and Sean McVeigh is really just a knockoff of Sean Payton, and we're giving Sean McVay all the credit now for creating this craze of quarterback rules offense of gurus. But it probably wouldn't have happened without Sean Payton, he's actually the guy McVeigh's imitating and the Rams organization wanted to find their young Sean Payton, and so again when you start being imitated is hard for me to go and say McVeigh. Is going to outperform Sean Payton on Sunday. I think Sean Payton's about the only way the saints can actually win this game. I think the personnel advantages so far on the ram side that that if the saints do pull it off it will be because Sean Payton did something we didn't expect they may have a lot in common, but they're not carbon copies. I played with Sean Payton in Dallas, and I will say witnessing both of them do their do their thing. If you wanna go like, the acumen football Accu men like just out of respect, Sean McVeigh's is hired probably every other coach walk around like his potential, and it's not just as memory and recall is about the expansion how much volume that he's throwing his players in part while they're so creative offense shopping's amazing that dead, but Sean Payton is more relatable from. Hello. But Sean McVay kimbrel late to all through how he were. Works in how he's invested in everyone just kinda different like you day one. You wanna go have a beer with Sean Payton before Sean McVeigh. But at the day one hundred you like, wow, he's still cares. He still there intensity. Kind of weird. I it's interesting. I was at I was at saints camp this year. And while they were practising Sean Payton took me into the into the facility and said, hey, listen, this what I do from every year. This what we want to do for players and showed me, whatever it was new. They put together this whole facility with these sleep pause. And these hydro every everything you imagine all the what do they call that? The we get in the nitrogen or whatever the cold thing, you know, all that. I mean, they had a whole facility that they've created. He goes every year. One of the things I wanna do is when my players come back. I want them to have something new something you can be excited about right? And then Sean McVeigh his players told me he's one of the fifty three. He's out there practicing with us. He's out there doing that. So they do it a little bit differently. But they have that connective in that relationship. That's what sets. Jason with Marcellus Wiley joined by Mark slurs, and Jason zodda, moved to the NFL draft was just added a very high profile prospect Heisman Trophy winner Cuyler Murray. The former Oklahoma quarterback made the announcement yesterday despite already being drafted in the first round to play baseball by the Oakland A's American still go she ate with as if he wants to pursue a career in baseball. And there are still big questions about the side Murray and how he would adjust to the NFL game. I think this is a brilliant negotiating ploy by Scott bores, his baseball agent. Okay. I don't see Cuyler Murray as a serious NFL prospect. He's a tremendous college quarterback five foot eight I just five foot nine I just can't pull if I'm a team. I can't pull the trigger. I've seen. I think that's a whole five foot nine is a completely different ballgame than Russell Wilson. Or Baker may. Field. It's is this kid better than Doug Flutie and Doug Flutie had an okay NFL career, not his fault solid NFL career, though better. I think he's negotiating with baseball for better baseball contract. And I think that's his best board play with Flutie flakes. It's not a problem. It turns your height. Look, I will say this. There's limitations at times of drew Brees has limitations at times. You you bring pressure up to middle ju- breeze in passing lanes, not as active so we get that. But five eight to five ten five eleven obviously you rather be taller, but you can still play the game of football play with joke. Flutie when he won ten gains Pro Bowl and the play offs, and he perform well now, that's it. Boy, I would love for that to be my son in that position to have these two options. These these two opportunities I would tell him. Look. Here's a pros and cons in both situations. However, I would root for him to go to football because you always fall down to baseball. Tim Tibo who did play baseball high school is damn near a pro. If he wasn't injured last year. Probably would be a pro right now be a met. So the athletes system in baseball. We all know is a little less than it takes to play the game of football in your prime years in the years where they're still trying to get you and put their claws on you into football world take that opportunity if that doesn't work fall down baseball. I think that I think that playing major league baseball a lot harder than playing professional football. A lot harder to get in. And the statistics bear that out. I mean one you're playing against the world. You're not doing that here in America playing football. There's fifty three guys on our Australia's twenty five active guys on a major league baseball roster. You sign this deal in baseball. You're gonna spend the next three or four years riding around bus in the minor leagues. Then when you get in to professional baseball when you after you get to that you get to the majors you've got three years of major league service without going down. You can't be sent down the miners that the clock starts ticking. If you get sent down it's no longer ticket does back. So you've got three years to be able to get to your arbitration year. And then if you're not a superstar, you're arbitration, you're you've got one year of money that you're gonna make and then you hit free agency. So you're going to be seven years essentially out before you have a chance to sign a contract after the signing moments. You have two contracts in the NFL, maybe working on your third contract. NFL? He's gonna be a first round draft choice. And he's rated in in the bottom in the twenties. But that means you're gonna get elevated up in the teens at the very least in the National Football League. You're gonna make fifteen you're probably gonna make twenty some million dollars just to sign your name on a on a on a contract, and you're gonna get another opportunity for years from now to resign. A deal of is a four year deal with the option of the team if you play well, you're going to get an option you're going to get that option contract in four years if he's the first I'm playing football. And I've I've thought about this. I've kind of looked into this what you said he could possibly be twenty nine thirty years old before he's a free agent in baseball. If it goes if he's in a minors for two or three years, and they have arbitration system in baseball. Look your Bryce Harper. Manny machado. They can't even get a tenure do in their two best players in baseball before he's up for a second contract in baseball. He could possibly make what you said at least thirty million dollars playing. Football. If he's a good player. He doesn't have to be great. He'll sign at that time for twenty one twenty two maybe twenty three million dollars a year as a quarterback. It's an end. He's a star. He won a Heisman Trophy. He's a star in football. He goes and plays baseball bus trip in a minors. He's not a starring more. Your doll. So for me, go play football. If it doesn't hand out. All right. I'll go try baseball. Again. That's what I would do. Jim is here to help us talk about our approval ratings for New York Jets jets coach Adam gates of Jimmy. Very serious in your what? Maybe seal ram, bro. What are you what to? Here's a highlight discussion earlier about Adam gays, Adam gaces, not an NFL head coach. He's a quarterback guru. The jets are about to experience. The Putin principle a Russian scheme to influence the entire NFL and undermine the values that made the league in America. Great this do they go maybe run through a wall looking that way. But be careful will he has more wisdom his first three years than the greatest coach of all time. Bill Belichick and finished second into the vision. Why fired? Okay. Got fired. But hey, Bill chick. Also at the same time should have got fire by the number comparing him belly say right now he'll pays to Bill. Check dam. Also saying right now. Why you say that? Needed to do life bladder MIR Putin and you compare him to Bill Belot shit. All right. Jimmy. What's your take on discussion about Adam gates? First of all, you know, that served with great distinction. In the special unit of the marines for twenty years. I'm one of the few survivor members of the black berets chill team, thirty two. In Jim Brown's character. In the in the dirty dozen was primarily based off my role in the bay of pigs invasion. No, man. That's dirty dozen was about World War Two. Jason knows well as I do Hollywood plays with facts. Four point. I'm just making his I'm well versed. I'm well trained and Russian acts of espionage and employs of that nature. All that was going on here in the Kennedy administration. I had the highest security clearance of anyone allow I'm actually the one that actually introduce John excuse me, president Kennedy to Maryland my row. You knew Marilyn Monroe. Yeah. Yes. I knew the young lady not intimately. But yes, I knew her. She was really my type. No meat on the bone speak of. But the president founder quite ravishing. If I may say. Ramsey's old as England's man. What's your take on Adam gates? First of all commend you on your great take ever trust the Russians. Never. They're always up to tricks. I too believe Adam gates his Russian operative. And I'm quite proud of this show was the first one to point that out and alert the public to it. Head john. I mean, president Kennedy and he listened to me the. He would've said the proper airport in during the pigs, and the human missile crisis could have been averted way way way that you know, you have to be very far with the Russians when I'm trying to tell you very firm which history. Back to school back to. I think the bay pigs actually sparked the Cuban missile crisis. But part, sir. We go. We're going all that man. So you think Adam gates is going to be a failure? Not I I'm not actually at liberty to say. I mean if I was off the record. I would say this whole thing reminds me a whole lot of. When Gorbachev put on a wig and glasses and they paraded him around as the Commissioner of the NBA for four decades. And I think they call him David Stern. Russia's when they lost lick it. And we are Jason. This is what it likes just winner. Game. David superheroes, Mikhail Guba tra- as he'll Gorbachev. No you. Gorbachev he went to Columbia. He wouldn't. I look man, we appreciate the history. Yeah. Cuban missile crisis. And all that we'll put it together. But let's get to our prove ratings for Adam gays, and you could have fought Ned war. I don't have Adam gay says a dumpster fire a forty two job performance. I gave them a four all time greatest. I give them a four character. I'm gonna give him a twenty th the guy didn't even play college football and has made it all the way fell head coach gotta show great character authenticity, though. I think he's faking the funk lot. No, I'm a little down on him, authenticity wise. Nothing. That's when keeping it real goes wrong. He is being who he is. So I'll give them a high authenticity of. It was all time greatness. What the hell I do. Adam gates like who gets zero jobs true. Yeah. And I like Adam gates trying to fix a broke down receiver and make him a quarterback all twelve job performance. He got five. Yeah. But the winning record better than Bill chicken his first years. I gotta use de for some common guys Russians. Come and keep it up. Checking emails. Everything's Porky pig. Russia's. Bay of pigs. Not we gotta go.

So I asked brandy if she could get on Snapchat to do the podcast on Snapchat with me and you don't have your the only millennial, a dozen have Snapchat. Well, I just want Instagram stories became a say. It just seemed really silly to do both because it's the exact same thing and obviously to grab trumps everything. And so I just quit using Snapchat somewhere along. The way I forgot my password to got walked out of Snapchat and I just haven't cared enough to get back on me. I said, Jeff, Snapchat, you said no. I said, dang, it sounds really good on that. And I said, let's try to FaceTime audio and seal. That sounds. And you then said, well, I have it, but I'm locked out of my account. I haven't used it in years, and I said, dick pics question Mark and they use it. What about them. Breakout hundred ten, not question. Like, how do I get them now? Do I do? I? What does that mean? Milic? Are you locked up because you sent too many dick pics. That was what I was going on now. How would I say the dictate? I I mean, I don't know who mean like nudie pic? Yeah. Like like like booby pills wasn't doing that. Have you ever sent a skinless photo? Two gentlemen, I did when I was like twenty three and I was so nervous about it all the time because I was like, it's gonna begin leaked it's gonna leak somewhere someone's going to have myself. And I only did like two because I was sodas, but I was young and Stephen, you know, can I ask like what type of skinless photo was it? Was it? Was it like at the end the day? Like like PG thirteen? Or was it in seventeen? I technically PG thirteen. It was just like a naked mirror. Pick. I feel there are different degrees of picks you can send, right? Yeah. It definitely. Was not NC seventeen? Yeah. Like just like naval up. Yeah. Yeah, because it's like borderline font. Nine for your like tits to be seen. Like I feel I guess, just like that's live like no biggie, but it's like a whole other bulk all game. I feel like for your waist down to be exposed or female, I feel hashtag for the nipple. Yeah, you wanna know some. I've never ever in my life said backpack dick pic dude. I mean, I feel like blink gigs are gross. So why would you tend to dictate there's no good can be had from sending a dick pic. I agree and I don't really understand the appeal of it because I do love tits and are like turned off by that. I get it, but like girls don't say dictator, like Hugh, it's like you do, I would. You do it? I have one, and I think it's gross. You know? Yeah, they're just like a pretty like, I just don't really understand, but whatever like you. Wonderful. I mean, there was a time in my life in which I was getting a lot of DM slides and people sitting a lot of like naked pictures to me, you know, post bachelor. Yeah, like there's a good six months of just like unbridled naked thoughts, talk insane. Thoughts are taught s-. It's thoughts. Yeah, just like nothing but thought sliding in like, is it? That's our thought. That is insane like the, is that like like, are you guys like proud of this when it happens? Or are you like, yeah, get lots of thoughts and Medina's or like or like you're like, this is annoying. We were to set iheart fest this past weekend, right? Yeah. And it was a brand new guy and then Ben Higgins, Nick vile. Sarah, was there Ashley and Jarrod dean, who is a hot mess and hot mess. And then it was Blake and Jason who by the way, I really like really nice guys. I hadn't had. They're both great. Hadn't met him before. I don't know if you noticed, but Ben was doing a thing where he would Instagram story Brown's having fun. Yeah, and it's them on their phones. Right? Yeah, because they're on their phones. Twenty four, seven, yeah. And and you know why, right? Because they're in the d. n. they're filtering through the DM seeing what tots thoughts are sending them. I kinda like Todd, so I live took a young thought. Yeah. Oh, that's good. Yeah. Like a not legal. You know, one hundred percent that's what's going on. I know they're single, you know, like they got dumped on TV like Goforth buddy. You know, get my only complaint was, is that they were. We were like backstage at iheart fest, and backstage is filled with a bunch of famous people, you know? Yeah. And I'm like guys year nine one yet. Like your window of relevancy is closing rapidly right now. You want to know my thoughts about the my theory about this though, about these guys and it's not just like Jason, I feel like it's just like the average guy that comes off of the bachelor elephants any of this. I feel like like when they're on the show like the producers, obviously make it seem like these guys have a lot of game like you see with like from fantasies raking, seal desires, Becca are super romantic and they're super whatever. And they look like they've got game and it makes all these girls are watching them on TV like remind guy only only I guess somebody like that or whatever. But in real. Life, like these guys toss. They're like yet girls Medina like, yeah, I was out till four last night, but they don't follow through because in reality they have zero game. And that's my theory. I agree with, hence why they're on the television show. If you had game, you. You. On the show. So I feel like they're like big talk, like whatever the like talk to girls when we go out, talk girls at the club, but then when it comes down to at the end of the night, they like have in follow-through ended up just like failing on them. So I, I think of them going up to like a pretty girl that's like in real life is like asking too much these guys hundred percent agree with that. Actually, I understand where they're coming from. My whole thing was like, you can check your Deums next week went later. Yeah. So is that just like them being socially awkward because not really knowing how to like, hang like, if you think about it, those guys have been like caged birds. Right? That's true. Yeah, but just call a Spade, a Spade. Those guys have been keeping a very clean knows because they thought they were going to be the bachelor, totally. So they've been being little altar boys, and then all of a sudden your boy, Colton over here is the bachelor, and they're getting invited to Vegas with you and a bunch of other famous people, and they're just like. Whoa. All right. Yeah, but mild thing was like guys, these aren't going anywhere promise you, all right, but we're backstage with Debby Ryan and Sabrina carpenter owners. Like there's a, there's bunch of hot famous people around here, get off free phones, you know? Yeah, this will this window of you as being cool really closing quick as. Things like this festival like by not happen next year. Look, you never know. I know in that group jet you are in the group chat. I should have put you in there, but I was a hat. Well, yeah, I'm sorry. But obviously Peter was invited last year. Yeah, the Peter was not invited this year, but he was like in like the residual like the old group chat and he was like, oh, he still in the group. I think we had to start a new one because we realized that Peter was invited. Oh yeah. And same with like Vanessa, gremaldi that he wasn't. She was in Bali. I know which I wish she had been there because. Was there, and I would just like this back and honestly bite me, one of the reasons why she didn't go. Yeah, he knew he was going, but I adore her. I wish she'd been there. It would've been nice to have a little girl power. The group I agree, they're way too hot top heavy on the guys. Agreed. I had fun. What was your? What was your favorite part of her Festus year? My favorite part of I are for. I had fuck Saturday night out with everybody a jewel that was probably my favorite time the festival. But as far as the actual sessile goes, I really enjoyed show him. It does. That was probably my favorite point. The show show Mendez solo or Justin Timberlake, bring in Shawn Mendez out to do I an old dead and seeing Justin Timberlake bring on Mendez out because tell douchebag security person was like that passes and get you up here. And I was like, yes, it does. I was up there and I was up there yesterday and yet would let me on the free comp- lap warm and I couldn't see. So I missed that. Those bad either way. I loved Chaminda as I love his record. What was your favorite time? Jack white was great. Yeah, quite good. I was very surprised at Jack white would do that festival to just because like Jack white is so against everything corporate and like to be on lavar at work for them, but like they are the epitome of corporate, he'll right. It's like an iheart, like the two like media giants in the world. So I was surprised he did it, but like we were talking about this during the festival, there is Jack white, the artist, and then there's Jack white. The businessman jet with the artist is a caricature. He created this thing, right? But let's be fairly. Jack white is a genius businessman, a genius marketer. And I think that I'm buying into the thing that he created. But if Jack white is a smart as he is or seems to be, of course, he's gonna do iheart fest, you know, like right. So it was this weird thing of like LA forgot Jack White's, like a totally sp- savvy business guy that like why the fuck would you turn down playing? I heart fest, you know, I'm sure Jack white like is like, yeah, I'd like to be always played on all stations all across the country for the rest of time. You know? Totally. So japa- was great. I really, really, really liked Leonard Skinner. Well, so here's the thing like Leonard, Skinner does band that like you can say to yourself, you're not a Leonard Skinner fan, which I would imagine like three fourths of the country would say that you could also say the exact same thing for like Coldplay or snow patrol or sheer and in near like, no, and then you go to one of their shows and you're like, fuck no, every song, you know if it's got so many hits. Yeah, it's true. It was a good vibe, everybody loved it. Yeah, and it was, I think that they sat back in the wings and saw the Shawn Mendez is and you know the what, everyone knows all these young people singing. And I think they were like, you know what? We're going to go show these fucking kids used to be like, you know, this is how you're supposed to rock and they killed it, man, their own dudes, but everyone for that many people are show up that are like between the ages of like nineteen and twenty nine for them to like, get that crowd going. I think it was impressive and they were great. So that was my, I thought they were. Right. You should get me a bell as a house home and gift for my Denver apartment. Okay. I can do that. We've been potted while can we say it like that Cleveland, patted. We've been like very, like a grocery store. Show would say that which by the way I'm going to, I'm going to say yeah, on Monday. Okay. I have not seen somewhat they so bad on that show by data. I didn't watch Sarah Juna watch. No, no, I don't wanna watch photo. Well, I wanna watch show, but I heard he was really bad. I just watched his performance because I heard people saying it was bad and I was like, I got to see this. It was like, I literally reminded me so much of my dad. My dad would was on that show and like he was so terrible. And he would like count out loud because I was the only way you'd like, you know, like two degrees that I'd like go and else was doing that, and he got some shit for it, but I kind of Joe doing that too. I feel and was just like it was cited trainwreck. I felt so bad for him, and I almost felt like he was secretly wishing he got voted off into NAFTA do it again. I think so. But there is a silver lining in that story that you told because your dad, what really far on that show? Oh, yeah. 'cause the fans votes count more as much as the scores do and at least up until the, you know, the final like three. So yeah, my dad was top five. I think he was fourth runner up whatever ever Ricky generation pulling him through in. It's true managerial. Joe's got the fans on his side. He's like, he's so he called me and he was like, well, do you wanna come to the show. And I was like, not really. And he's like, they've been asking me to get some bachelor people that I'd like it if you came and I was like, yeah, okay, I'll go. So I'm going on. I'm going on Monday and it's actually really fun show to sit in a live audience for. All right, cool. I asked Sarah and she was like, no, not going to. I don't play. It is fun though, but it's it's hilarious because of all of the guys from that scene, then I feel like there were so many of them that can dance where like freakishly well, like Jason and Blake bows like don't have swing dance or something. It's insane. It's like of all the guys they could have picked, like Joe's like the least capable of dancing. I know funding. I hope that's the story that like he is terrible at this and then becomes good, you know? Yeah. I mean, there's always one I feel similar to like him being on reality TV show like he was terrible. The reason why you got kicked off the first night is because he could not talk in an interview. Not because I don't think because because becka gave to flying FOX, either way about anyone at that moment. You know, it was producers being like, this guy is horrible. Get an out of here. And then at the end of paradise, he was like pretty good at it. Like he would. Yeah, you know, he started cracking jokes and being funny. So no my God. Can you hear the dogs background? Uh-huh, too. So I'm doing. This from I built this studio in Sarah's house. So I, I need to be better at this in our house. It's so funny because I do my radio shows from this room. That's so crazy. It's kinda weird like I just trade up, do my job in my underwear now. Phenomenal. It's almost as nice as you being in your bedroom. It's on those, but it's really funny, it's I'll be like in the middle of a break or whatever. And the dog start by Carl are tallying the background and is at the role again because that's my new workspace. Now that is so funny. So do you have your same show that you had on your here? Yes, I do. Wow, that's amazing. Do it from here, which is kinda clean, do it every day, like a Houston every day. Yeah, one. Oh, seven, five, the river seven to ten every night and then one. Five. Nine. The rock that one changed now. I'm doing mornings ten to noon. So yeah, we'll see how that goes. Dude. Did you watch the Emmys this year now who wants to Emmys? Not like at the golden the Emmys I know. Well, I don't know. I watched it because your friends like up for stuff. Right. I know. But this is the first year that modern was not nominated for an EMMY. They weren't, which is ridiculous and stupid because that show is so good, but whatever, whatever did you guys go? No, we didn't go into like all the parties beforehand. Got it before the Emmys which was our first date, I'll right. An never told this story. I should try tell the story it is, is there never told it because like I was always worried that like telling it would upset her, you know, or like letting too much in. I was out in LA last year to present at the hero dog awards because. On brand. She was at this. She didn't tell me what it was. She was just like, hey, I've got an industry party about a go to. So I was like, that's cool. I'm going to this hero dog awards, but when I get done, let's get a drink. That was the thought we were in Beverly Hills. I didn't get done until like like ten thirty eleven or something. So she was like, I'm looking on my phone right now. There's nothing really open in Beverly Hills. Just come to this party, Matt. I got a plus one, so I was like, okay, I don't. You know, whatever. If I told the story before now but come county. You rolled up in your like leather jacket, emp dad data in your back pocket of your jeans. No, I was in a suit because I was just presenting at a dog award show. I was thinking you were dressed, right? I was dressing perfectly for it. That's crazy. I was hoping draw up in like your typical. Like I just got off my bidder cycle and he's Nashville look. Now that was like this year. Yes. Our first date was the night before the Emmys party and and that party ninety nine point nine percent of the population doesn't know that this party exists because there's no press allowed. There's no cameras allowed and it's the night before it's everybody. It's everyone that's on a TV show right now except for reality TV shows and so I roll up at. It's like the first person I run into like at like getting my creek by getting a brisk band was Joel McHale. He starts making fun of me like immediately and you can remember, this is the first time I've ever met. Sarah. I ever met her like why? Like FaceTime like talk, but like never met her. So then we walk in and then we run into Johnny, go lucky from big bang theory KFI and he's like, she's like, oh my God, love. How are you doing in the your nose? How Hollywood people talk weird to each other? You know, there's a lot of Hello love and like a what's let's wants to use a lot doll. Oh, yes. Yes, yes, yes. Why you all are now happening. Is it love with love what's going on? And he was like, my house was burned down. I started laughing and he's like, why are you laughing? And I was like, oh, you're being serious. Oh my God, I guess I can away. It's Sarah, like it shocks me that she would invite you to that party having never met you. But at the same time, I guess it's like the ultimate test like, well, we'll see if he can keep up. Let's see if he can, hey, you know what I mean? Total trial by fire, you know? Yeah, I guess I pass that to, you know, just like, I hear you are year later. Exactly. I think that it was wonderful that I didn't know where I was like, I, I do much better. Like ignorance is bliss, right? Like I do so much better. Have no idea what's going on. Right? So the other day, Sarah goes to a baby shower, and I was like, baby showers are for girls to go to, and this is a co Ed baby shower is okay. I'll go. And she goes, it's my good friend Addy donor for years, but since eighteen when I got here and her husband Jeremy him and I went to high school together in New York, so like, okay, these are old friends, whatever. Let's go to baby shower, get dressed up, like my yachting outfit that I like. Appropriate for baby showers. Right. All right. Like denim light shirt. Yeah, exactly. It was a, it was like it was a khaki rolled up. Oh boy, nice shoes, button-down bit too. Tight, button-down, incredible the hair, whatever you don't, you don't like no guys are have been to shower, so we don't know what we're supposed to wear. That's true. It's like, oh, this thing now Aachen and this black lady sees me walk in and she goes, you're here. Thank God. You're here. And I was like, oh, okay. She was my husband and I love watching the bachelor, so earn on Basham paradise. And I was like, oh, cool. You know. Great. And then at that point we had to go find Atty. We start walking around in like William H Macy's. There. And like EMMY Rossum 's there and I'm like, we're fuck. Lar-. We right now turns out our friend, Jeremy is lip from shameless. So the entire cast of shameless despair. And. You know, I was like afterwards. I was like maybe in the future, tell me that we're going to meet the time because I love that show by the way Whitehead's opposites all your asking for here bet. Oh. Anyway, that she doesn't tell you, I kind of love that. She's just like, yeah, it's a little bit here is what it is. It's everything's nonchalant with her, but then turn. Hello, darling. How are you this hit. So God, like, I believe that's so great because like the, you know, the other way that that goes is like, okay, we're going to maybe today, like to my friend was on is shamelessly doping weird like that that would suck. So I I like handles it. She's like throws rideaid and is like sinker swam, bro. I did. Great. I'm sure sure you did. Yeah, this is. This is a weird thing. I've I've noticed about Hollywood. A lot of people give you their number because they're like, dude, you're cool. You're great. You know, like a novelty people night, totally accept it. You know, like I'm this reality TV dip shit. Now they had how got Sarah island? Yeah, exactly. Like the trick the system and they're like, well, I guess you're kind of here, you know. So like then then they get to know me and I think they're all like, oh yeah, you're, you're pretty funny. You're like you're nice or whatever. And then they'll give you their number seven on numerous occasions. But then the next day I'll text them being like, don't so great me you, you know, like, let's get. A drink. Nothing dot. Thank you. I feel like I am so guilty of this number. If someone asks me for my Belfer I cannot say no, and I cannot make up a fake what like I'll does give it to them and then I'll never respond to anything they ever sent me. I do the weird thing like just hit me up on social media. It's just that's what I need to start doing. Do they be Tammy? That's what I got a step to because I'm so bad about it, and then I'll start getting flooded with tax. I feel so bad not responding, but it might if I answer even once then I'm stuck stuck responding every other time. Can we just like real quick talk about this quip. Toothbrush. I've been dying to talk about it. You like gave me one before you left and we talked like, we talked about it for a second when you left, and then I've been using it and I'm like, all on news, talk law. This brush we have notes. Let's just talk about what we actually like. No, it's near copier. Do get some freaking Inc. So basically it's a like real sleek looking to brush. Personally, I went with a gun metal. Would you go in minds like a copper? Okay. It's pretty. It's electric so vibrates. They send you like new brush heads when you need them subscription. I was in Mexico for a month and a half. I use it every single day still is still charge mine. We'll never know. It's incredible. Okay. And you know, last time I gave you so much crap about like you can stick it to your mere. Yeah, that's so aesthetically pleasing I ever do that. Okay. It didn't stick it to the MIR, but I did stick it to my backslash tile tile on the back of my sank or whatever. And I did. I like, suck it on there and I love it so much. And this is ninety two, but it comes with the really cool travel case. It does come with the travel because that's the one thing that kinda gross about toothbrushes may travel with them. You're like, he's kind of throw it in the ally time. I know in my makeup and then get honest, I love the little case. Yeah, right. This is straight up. We dislike this love the brush. I got so excited about. Quip toothbrush starts twenty five dollars. And if you go to get quip dot com, slash y f for your thing, you'll get your first refill pack free with equip electric, toothbrush, guys. You really need to do it. It's it's life changing. So let's get quip to g. e. t. q. u. IP dot com. Slash y. f. t. for your favorite thing. And boom, literally, there are some things I think we've we've probably done this thing where I'm like, I don't know if anyone like this one you're going to like, this will be your new favorite. Yes. One hundred percent hundred percent. Oh, you want to go. Let's go to sing karaoke academy. Find that what time trying to do the I've got so many favorite shows right now by the way shows all all my favorite shows are back on anything God as God fall TV is back your case gave me what you run down. Grey's anatomy premiered last night to our premier phenomenal about to rewatch for the second time we hang up that much. Yeah, this is us. Obviously, what a classic that one's back this week is well loves the first episode. Oh, the resident. It's like a, you know, like the poor man's Grey's anatomy or whatever. But it's the guy from Gilmore girls, the hot like Blunkett from yoga roles, and he's like the lead character, and then it's Emily van camp from event. That's two characters. I loved from other shows that are in the resident, and it's back as well. You don't show that cut a peak. My interest watch who's I'm not really like a hospital ER scrubs guy, but looked pretty good. Was new Amsterdam. Have you seen l. now haven't even seen that really look up a trailer for, I think you would like it like the premise is, is that the way that hospitals are run right now is really fucked up. So this like bad ahead surgeon or whatever comes in there and his like, we're gonna do it completely different. What are you? What are your thoughts like insurance companies aren't going to be like tons of the do like, what are you guys want to do? Like no waiting rooms. Great. No-one like he starts like doing hospitals like the way they should be. Cow they're run. I actually haven't seen it, but I love that you chose three shows that I've actually never seen a single episode of how do you ever seen? Grey's anatomy. Argue human being. I've seen ER that's the same thing. If you it's not the same thing, but I watched yards child religiously. And if you like yard, you'll love Grey's anatomy. I didn't love yard. That's the thing. What's not to love? Well, I am the son of a doctor. That's true. I guess I didn't think about that. I just don't know if I care. It's so good. I know it's good because everyone says it is, but I don't know if I'm going to get like I've got. I've only got so much bandwith and I'm not sure if I'm not like dedicate some of it to that, especially coin, fourteen seasons. So it would take like months to catch up. Yeah, no, thank you. And then this is us. I'd never seen episode of this is so I just know it's sad, right? It is sad. The first season was really great. And then I felt like I like the second season was just men, but I like the first step. Episode of this new season a lot, but like the guy from from Gilmore girls is dead now, though, right? He aired, but he's still in every episode because they flashed back all the time. Like the way that show works is like it's a little confusing because they'll show you like all these different timelines of these people's lives like it dose irt order. You know, that's the cool part of it too. Is that the way they're able to make all these character, all these actors look like, you know, twenty years younger and and years older than they are different scenes. It's pretty wild. All right. And then the other one was this dog resident? Yeah. Yeah. It's like you know, like a poor man's grays. It's definitely not as good as Grey's anatomy. Look up this, this new Amsterdam thing. I think I'm one hundred percent. I will because I do love medical shows for some reason even though like it's funny, like I, I, I've never. I haven't been to a doctor does like thirteen years old. Like I don't even go to the hospital, but I dislike lived for for some reason. So I've got a couple, so those are yours are in. I'm in charge of the bell bedroom. Had it ring, ring, ring. New seasons of Ozark, stop it. It's it's great. Yeah, it's been out for a minute. Has the punk ass in a while. You're right. But I like that one as well. I'm almost done with it. Are you done with it? Oh, yeah. I've ripped through anything. Really. You have Vishva now? I haven't. I have two more episodes to dude. I fucking brand into that little that little redneck chick at the airport. I couldn't talk to our and I was just like, cool. I can hang God. Mice. Vilely would fan girl so hard. She's obsessed. She's so good. Everyone shall like him. Bateman is so good in that so good. And he's like God. His like is arrested development like that guy can never shed his humor like that's just who he is totally, but, but it's so subtle in this good. He does such a great job with it and then Laura Linney who it is and I don't know. I think it's, I think it's Laura Linney. It's like MacBeth, like she is starting to take over the heroin, former wife and a husband thing is still, yes. Oh, good. And they're so Caridi ho so creep. The wife wife, especially suf- scares me. Sarah sometimes where I literally think she looks demonic. Yeah. Oh, yeah. They've done such a good job and then low redneck girl the. And so here's the thing. I really love that first season and I'll send man. I don't know if they're going to be able to keep up the momentum like sophomore slump I say, I think I might think that the second season is better than the I I agree with you because season one actually started to lose my interest about three quarters of the way through and I paid finish it, but I was feeling like I wasn't as into it. I haven't been really into season to love it. Other show that I watched, I had to kind of push through it because I'm a guy, but I will say the marvelous MRs Mazel is not what is that. So at one like everything at the Emmys, but you didn't watch the this year because you're. Whatever you're watching raise anatomy or some shit. I feel like I was busy. I feel like I was like in Iceland or something. We didn't talk about that this. Let's just bookmark that for second. Okay. But Mark, the marvels MRs may Ville is a period piece happens in New York in like the thirties or the forties. Maybe midge may Mazel is Jewish housewife, well, to do family. Her husband is like kind of like a normal businessman. But at night he goes and goes to the the gaslight in Greenwich Village and does like stand up. And then all of a sudden one day he leaves midge Mazel because he's cheating on her with his secretary midge Mazel like Connell loses. It gets drunk and goes down to like where he'd perform and like jumps on stage and just like starts ranting about like, how should he men are and like how terrible predicament she's in. And you know that woman who does the voice for a mom and. Only guy. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah. It was on mad TV. So she's, she's like the owner of of this club where she gets on stage and all of a sudden she's like, you are fucking hilarious, your comedian, we enter you a comedian. So then it's like the transformation of this like housewife into this amazing comedian, and it is. It's really, I think the reason why it was hard for me to get into. 'cause it's very female and empowering. Right. And albeit like a someone who's like all about that. It doesn't like hold me as much as like it held Sarah because like Sarah finished it like an day. Oh yeah. And like it took me a while, but then once it got going was like manage shows really good. And then the way it's shot, you're in Birdman where they would do like an entire scene with like never cutting like different Amera. They end that like like it's like six pages in like one shops as critical. So anyways, that show is phenomenal deserved like all those frequent Emmys at one lives. Other show that I really really liked. Oh, have you seen the center. I can't watch it. I tried just as the first two episodes were just so violent. I couldn't keep going do watch with Jessica Biel. Yeah, too. I really, but I'm like weird like that where I like making the murderer and what kind of stuff. And I like I like a lot of crime stuff, but there is something about stabbing like seeing as her that's seen as brutal. If you can get that one, then you're fine, then I couldn't. I just couldn't. And I don't know any other kind of violence. I've really okay with. But there's something about stabbing scenes that really do a number on me and I just could not get past that. Yeah, I hear you on that. That season. The first season is really, really good. I've just finished the second season in. I didn't love as much as the first and then my land got a couple more one. Fucking TV to lose her. I have another one to keep going. Okay. The next one. Oh, remember when I told you about American vandal the mockumentary and like you couldn't like grasp it. So he's got a new season of it, and it's about the to the doodoo bandit to like, oh, the third burglar anyways, it's about some guy who dislike terrorizes a school shit, and it's so fucking funny. That's great. And I just started last night the first that's with Sean Penn on Hulu, Alex, that it's all about, like going to Mars. The first time off at the first not to ruin it with the first. I've only the first episode, but I was like amend of this. The first episode is Sean. Penn is like the astronaut leader, and he gets like scrapped from the mission. He asked like, kinda like, sit by and watch all the guys he trained or whatever. All his comrades co workers like go up to be the first man mission to Mars and exp. 's like, oh, he has sent from like the trailer or whatever. It looks like he ends up like doing the next mission. So I'm only like right at that point put. That's cool. I'm gonna. I'm gonna start that one tonight. That's sounds good. You have who I do. All right. Yeah, that if I was the only province Sean Penn looks like he's doing some steroids, like he's way too jacked up saying old relay. Real vainly, real vascular, not loving weird. You speaking a Hello? Did he ever watched Handmaid's tale? No, I watched like China, so like, all right, I can't do this. I loved it. It was great. Did you watch sharp objects on HBO? No, I think you'd like that. It's fantastic. I. So it's a book by Gillian flan which I, I read years ago when it came out that they turned into a series Amy Adams stars in, and it's it's pretty. It's lined up pretty well with the book which is great. Usually like if I've read something that watched the, you know, usually Bubis never as good as the book or whatever, but HBO did a really great job with this series and Amy Adams really killed it. The last episode was a little weird the way they ended it with the twist and everything, but it was great though. I loved it. I think he's watch it. Why sort of watching berry on HBO with Bill Hader? Have you seen that one? Now? I have. I love him though. I do to the Hugh civic like I still see him in forgetting. Sarah Marshall were how he's like, oh, I know what you're doing. It. I loved him in trainwreck to Amy. Schumer movie. Yeah, he's so good. I love him. He wanted me as well and Ellie dead. Yeah. Let the premise of that is. He's a hit man, and he has to go to l. a. to like, do a hit on. It's like a mob boss. His wife is fucking the trainer, you know, like the GM and so he's got to go out and like kill the trainer as he follows him around like the trainers, like in an acting class, like everyone. Goes into the acting class, and he realizes that he wants to become an actor. It's just him having to be a hit man, like he can't get out of it. But he also really wants to be an actor. Harry Winkler who was like the fawns he won. He won an EMMY for best supporting. So that's fine too. So this is a big TV heavy episode for doing right now. It's appropriate with all the TV coming back. I am in the middle of a book right now that I like lot alley, which ones that it's called a whiskey when we're dry, have you know? But I like the title. It's a western how you feel about westerns I want. I'm a big western guy big into Louie, LA more. Yeah. This one's really cool because it's female. I feel it. We're very much like in the swing of women in power -ment thing, which hopefully which I'm totally fine with. So basically, it's about a family dad mom's gone. They live in Missouri. Older older brother. Younger sister, older brother kinda gets into it with the dad leaves the farm and ranch. Data ends up dying. The girl has to make it on her own for a while. So she she ends up dressing like a boy or man and like going out. And she becomes like gunfighter gun shooter trick. Shooter thing. She's like is better than every guy that she comes across. And in interim, her brother is becoming like the most famous outlaw in the country. And so it's her trying to catch up with her brother. I dunno, I, it's just like like we are in that weird like me to like female empowerment thing. And this girl is like such a bad ass. I love it. That's how cool on that one on the list I read. I've read a few looks lately that none of them that are attitude crazy about, but there was one my separately, more of a female. A book. I feel held behind closed doors by the a Paris, and it's a good like like, you know. Fiction, like thriller, like with a twist at the end typical. But evolve I, I read a lot of those because that's what's on the bestsellers list at the airport. Usually this was one of my favorites and it's about basically this one day what this hurl Mary's, this guy that she meets pretty quickly and he just seems so perfect. And then you know, without giving anything away basically that she gets into the marriage and like you know, day one of their honeymoon she, she realizes like, this is not the guy that she thought she married. I'd it's pretty dark. This guy's character would once he starts revealing who he really is like, it's it's pretty dark and twisted and crazy, but I loved it is in the vein of life girl in a train or gone girl like that. It is. Yeah, it is actually, basically like basically this, I don't think it's giving anything away. Basically, this real Mary's has guy at that. He basically takes her as prisoner and forces her to protray this perfect wife what is over and he like sends her parents emails make it seem like they have this perfect marriage, perfect life. But in reality, he's like torturing her and her sister all the stuff. That's pretty crazy. I want to. I want to read that one or listen guide. What about movies? Have you seen? I'm a little behind on this. Have you seen it Venditti war? Yes. That was. No, it was a while ago. It just came out on like like apple or whatever. I watched it three times in the past two weeks obsessed with it. So what he is going to happen because obviously everyone dies and that can't be how this stick. How about bringing back? I was a little annoyed that they brought in spider, man. I'm like doing really need spider mad and this crew. I think not. He's funny though. He's funny, but like he's a child and he's not like how many spider-man's can't. We have honestly million Tobey Maguire I feel was my favorite. And since then we've just had to freaking many. And this kid hasn't been around long enough to be able to be an adventure. I'm sorry, he doesn't. He has not earned it. You know, who has earned the keeps getting snubbed. Its pissing me off his deadpool wisn deadpool. So you're right. He's I didn't think about that. It's ridiculous or an x. men like it's x. men is DC comics, so it's not. It's moral. It's. Yes. What's DC comics thinking of that man, superman. That's right, Batman. I don't know. Maybe ten will make a showing in the next one, but I loved them bringing Chris Pratt into this crew like there was some real magic happening with Chris, Christie, Chris, if you know what I'm saying. And a lot of hotness onscreen which I was totally okay with. But Chris Pratt, really did some of his best work in the Benetton War. I thought he was hysterical when he when he starts talking like life worth. I. Does took you with your voice deeper. It was my favorite seat in the whole movie probably, but I just love them together. I thought they were great and I'm like, how does Chris keep it together? Like, how do you not laugh at this? I know it's so good. I really liked that movie to have you seen the new deadpool. I watched half of it. I wear what I was on a plane. Got interrupted like I only could watch half before the plane went that are something I really need to finish it like the new dead pool. I loved the first one. Have you some social media like the new big joke is like moths really liking lamps. Now you haven't now, it's like the new mean that I'm seeing all over the place, whereas ROY. Yeah, it's like moths and lamps. It's gotta look for that. I'm not seeing that. Not to do it so much that really annoys me. You don't you buy a six pack of like soda or whatever, and they've got like a thing where you can come up pop off a corner of it, so you can take them out individually as you crank them? No one in the history of man. Has been able to pop off like the corner, right without like ripping the thing every time I do. I fuck it up. It's so annoying. I'm pretty sure that's more like twelve until what did I say six pack fix. Yeah, you know what? I'm twelve. Yeah, you're not wrong. Or like when you get a box of granola bars and you've got to pop open the top, but then so you can also like hinge it back together but aerial Bach? Yes, exactly. I destroy any theory box that I open every single one. Do you wanna some funny by probably haven't had cereal in ten years, why? Yeah, my parents, that's what they eat for dinner is serial. This is not. This is not a joke, frosted flakes they every single night before bed seriously every single night. Who did like I- gluten-free cereal in my house. But you know, frosted flakes whatever floats your boat. But I'm a big guy and I blame my parents, your parents. I love cereal too. I still do it anymore. I just don't drink milk anymore. Well, I, I use coconut milk in mind. Will you do. Gluten-free cereal. And and yeah, this is not even cereal anymore branded. It's actually really good. It's like maple flavored like granola, ask cereal. Good, some sort of nation. Now I'm just trying to be healthy every here. You know what you have thirty. You gotta start like helping it up. I hear you on that. Man. I got one of them. One of them scales that tells me like my body fat and like, oh God, bone density. It's just. House. Yeah, I know I can't have scale. We've we've seven scales in this house. No. Why? Because people send them to us. I'd give them away. Miley has a great idea for birthday the fear. What is it? She's having dirty thirty even though she's only gonna be twenty six so that everyone tells her how good she looks for thirty. So if you're at Nashville route thanksgiving, make sure you guys show up for the dirty thirty though is Marley to a Halloween party this year. She's not, but we're going to throw a big party for her birthday. It's two days after thanksgiving. Her is the party. Her birthday is the day after thanksgiving, but we're going to big party then. So here's my deal with Powell. We we've got an amazing Halloween, costume idea. Okay. Are you gonna tell I'll tell it, but when his heirs I'm to put like a babe in the middle of perfect. Perfect. Okay. So I want to dress up as. Yeah, and she's dressed up as a giant. Oh, that Phil good, right? Who thought of that? I did actually. That's genius. Okay. So I'm like, this is such a good. This is such a good costume, and I've been informed that there's like three or four parties we have to go to. We have to have different costumes formed, and I was like, Sarah, no, we have. We have the best costume. We don't have any other costumes. We had a good one. Right. Totally like we're never going to a live up to the costume that we've come up fast prior to this costume is the role reversal here? No singing with the theme. And also like harkens back the last episode on told you about last year to last year, especially. But then also last episode until I like to wear wigs. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, where's that? Though? Really, truly don't. You think it's so fun to to her leg? I love a wig Yana while wig's not like some weird, like a little weird of its offense. Let's be real knows it's not a fetish that they can. I can totally see how it could seem like that, but the way that I look at my hair is so difficult. That I've only had the same hair like everyone's had multiple haircut hair. I know joke never had a different haircut than the one I have right now. I don't know what it's like. So I'm like, oh my God. This was like, because grow your hair all got different tariff, your person that's. You gave your head ever told you the story of the scar my head now. So when I was like two or three guess I was crawling around my cousin Darrell, dare all was babysitting for us, and she was making cookies and I smelled them and she had left the cookies in I think on, I think you'd have made me told me. So she left the oven open unless she took the cookies out. But I thought as a two year old that like the cruiser soon there. So I crawled into the oven and Bert my forehead on the grill part of the oven. And then I did that shoved my head straight up. And when my head went right up, went into the broiler and earn fuck outta my head. So I until I was about fifteen years old, I had giant bald spot on my head and ninety huge scar. So then I was like, dad, you've got, I used to have Clive really curly hair, so just grown afro and Africa, like really, really like. Closer to afro. So it covered right. And finally, one day I was like, we gotta fix this. It's my dad's a doctor, and so he's like, oh, I could do this like, so he got his buddies together and we like went into his lab which looking back like this is probably not legal, but that was going to it sounds awfully Scalia so they went. And so what you did is they cut out the the scar tissue, which was probably like, if you think about if you stacked maybe three quarters back to back to back. So it was kind of like long. That's what it looked like. It was a long and, but like that with, you know? Yeah, in right on the top of my head. So they went cut that out, and then they pulled my skin together and. For like two weeks afterwards. My head was was a the shitty facelift. So every time I laughed, it would pull in the stitches and my head bazaar bleeding. So my and I'm the youngest of five and all my siblings, I was the funniest thing in the world credits make you laugh. Me laughs like they're not start crying. No, being an blood pouring down that is the meanest thing I've ever heard. And my siblings that I was mean to them, though you got nothing on the Addams family. So I have a, this is a long. I should tell that story. I haven't told that voicemail story yet. Yes, you have have is the less Ori. Yes, I told to you backstage at I heart. That's what I think have so anyways. So I have. I have a pretty big scar my forehead and I have a pretty big indentation in my skull. Say, you can't shave your head. Yes. So long story short can't shave my ahead. 'cause I realize cookies, right, right. Yeah, there we are. That's insane. Apparently I used to case trace around with scissors, like threatening him. I don't know really. So I haven't told something tells me though that he pulled my hair, I because that was a common theme in our childhood was him pulling my hair out for no reason. So that's cool. What is the hierarchy here of the of the Cyrus clan? It's you. You mean like the actual like whose oldest you? I'm the oldest then trace his ear and a half younger than me. And then there's like a five year gap between him and Miley. She's the middle and. Then a year and a half. Younger is brazen. And then Noah's the like young and that was the accident. You know, I was mistake too. The youngest always are. Lives. Yeah, how she doing daily p out? Have you listened to it? It's called the good cry p. Yeah, my favorite well mad at us, the single. So maybe maybe you should play that one, but my favorite song on the is it's called punches than it's, she did it with an artist names LP and she's somebody I've listened to for years. She's fantastic. I feel like you would know l. p. do you know her? Of course you should looks like Bob Dylan, but sounds like yes, yes, she's been of at all. So no has been a fan of hers for a long time, and they co wrote dot song together and then LP's featured on it. It's it's phenomenal. What song is it punches also while you're queuing it up knows currently on tour and she just had her third show in Nashville. It was so fun which she'd been here and like, yes, I went took like twenty and my friends like filled that place up Miley was here. Brazen was here. My parents are here. It was great. But if you guys would like to see no onto her, you should go onto her website and find her tour dates, because I bet she's playing in a city near you was the first time mile is Riddick cannery ballroom. It's possible it's gotta be, which is, which is funny. 'cause we everybody. Telling stories of of. Seventeen. She lets us from Kentucky is at her best friend lied to my, her parents, my grandma, and came down to Nashville to see a band called lipstick at the cannery vol- room. The whole on great Dory ads on Spotify. No, I. Feels that split YouTube into. I'm try the. Joe. Son. I'm still good. Try. That's the. Ooh. This. Two. Who. Seen them. Sit on you. You. Beyond? Yeah, on Che's. Five. Dawn. Good. Yeah, yeah. Interesting. I love l. p. by the way, I've always loved her. Yeah, I remember taking my family. She played live on the green for us, and I remember is big festival on Nashville. I remember making my family and I was like, trust me, you're gonna wanna, see this chick. I know she looks like a skinny. Bob Dylan voice is absolutely phenomenal afterwards. Everyone's like, oh my God, who is this lady? She's so n. Hollywood called bardo and they do the called school night once a week wearing like up and coming bands play school night. It's like it's a taste maker type thing. When I was banned band, we played school night. An LP was there to watch us. She's like she was friend who's friends with the girl. I was in a band with brother and two is there, and I were being so freaking at l. p. was watching is because I was a big fan of hers. That's forty. And now she's doing with your sister. Funny coz I really, I really am proud of no for like her tasted music. Like I like I had a hand in that because a lot of artists she loves. I guy traduced to back in the day when I was driving back and forth to the barn everyday. She really loves like LP and Ben Howard. Yes, she loved that Howard, which I think's gray because he's one of my favorites. So you're just a huge fan of mine when I was morning show DJ on lighting one hundred. 'cause all we played Ben Hallard LP war on drugs. I did listen to lightning one hundred all the time. So I like I've had a hand. Just a couple people removed from why your sister. Great. But it all fairness ex-boyfriend have the power play the troubadour like five years ago. And that's why Ben Howard who's not like his stuff since then, but whatever I liked the second one, the first the best. The second record was also great, and then it's gone a little downhill sets, so. Okay. So do Dermott Kennedy's countries. I feel like I've, he's, I think he's Irish, but he's played. You played? Yeah, I played him before. So he's doing a US tour and somehow I just found out about it a few days. Actually. I was in Iceland out and so I went on to try to buy tickets to the Denver show sold out. So I was like the national fly back Nash for it sold out and I was like, fine. I'll fly Seattle and a Libyan. I will go sold out entire towards sold out. So I was like, all right. I was like by last resort here is DM this guy until I'm that. I'm. I'm a huge fan at have to go like before I do that of to give one last shot. And so I had Miley manager reach out to his management to get to the show so that I didn't have to like logo myself and like DM the guy. But I've been. Go ahead. Yeah, we'll be stupid for him not to have you there, you know, especially because you show and everything. I what he probably thinks complete for because I wanted him all the time and stuff. But I was like, literally, like tried to craft the, I don't DM often like as rare that I'll slide to him like, what am I going to say here to not sound like a freak and but also not be like a snob. It'd be like I am Brady Cyrus lemon, like, what's the player? Can't. You're out the happy medium as the happy medium is, hey, dude. I'm a gigantic fan of yours at every God dang show of yours is sold out. How do I get it? I got that sounds so like fanatic. I know. But like that's what those those guys want here that you're right, they do. I forget and someone like you who's almost million people following them just in terms of marketing and PR they must be like, yeah, let's get this chick in the show immediately. That's speaking of I discovered a guy on Spotify the other day, just like him up, like, you know, when you leave playing it all like play similar artists and stuff. And that's a lotta times highlight. Find people. I like site bound this guy. He's like a folk singer as Joshua high slot. Okay. H. y. s. l. o. p. and I like started listening to one of his songs and Instagram story, and he reached out it was just like so pumped that I posted about his song, but people should check him out because it's really good bookmark. Let's get back to it. I slow. Tell me about I sent what was your favorite thing about ice LA so hard to pick this one. You and union live. Via go to Iceland together. We do an her friend, Rachel won her best friends from college who Joe so happens to be professional photographer. And let me tell you right now. I can never go back to traveling without a photographer. It is the way it is the only way to travel. It's the only way it was fantastic. So Rachel, Rachel, Lydia had already and this trip it, but a Libyan knows Dina goad Iceland's, and she was a, hey, Rachel are going, do you wanna go with us? And at the time I was like, oh, that gets a little soon to commit to like, know that I don't have to work, but I was like, you'd be couple of weeks after couple weeks. I didn't put anything and I was like, what is going to do it? So Livia works for delta. So she flies us for free party. Watch. We fly standby for like eighty bucks roundtrip which is great. And then yeah, that's that's traveled live. It's like easy. And then she got she had gotten this happy campers company to give us a camper van for as long as we posted throughout the week or whatever. So her plan was to camp the whole trip because you know, she's on this whole outdoorsy backpacker camper girl kick or whatever. So she wanted to drive the whole island that camp the whole time. I was like, man, I really wanna go, but I just don't think I have it in me to camp for eight days. So. So I do what I do best and reaching out to hotels and then happened to find a hotel hotel company that had several hotels on the on the cut in the country and us like several nights. So, and that big. So great. We got so much to totally taken care of, but everybody was everything was awesome. Like ten ten would recommend, like if you wanna camp, then happy campers was phenomenal. And honestly, like even the weeded sleep in the camper every night, I really liked having the camper to cook it because we, we, we hit the pavement hard. I mean, we were driving like several hours a day sees as we could. So it was nice to be on the go, be able to cook our own food and stuff, especially because food and Iceland is outrageous because our currency conversion is terrible. So if you, if you're going to rent a car, you might as well rent. One of these like they have smaller wants to like ours was pretty big. It was three breath. Like if it's just two people, they have smaller ones that have little kitchenette stuff. Again, I just think it's so nice to be able to make your food down of. So yeah, we're trying to go for New Year's Eve, tight. I know. So as we're trying to play the right now, you have to do the bubble. You have to know. So, yeah. So it was explained everyone what that is at really had that she is my favorite experience that it was the bubble, and it's something that's been on by Baucus for really long time until it was my one like we have to do this. So it's like it's a literal inflated bubble in the middle of nowhere like that. They have three locations. The one we were at like top of this hill and awesome because there's like six or seven bubbles in the vicinity and they're all you know within like two hundred each other. You can't see anybody else at all. So you feel like you're all alone in the middle of nowhere. Phenomenal and their climate controlled. So even though it's. They're like, the bubble wasn't cold and they get, yes, easily heated gets in everything. There's power outlets, fair phone, like whatever. And it's it. It's the way it works is like there's like two doors this little hallway and you. You can't open both doors at wasn't the bubble deflates. That's how it stays up is like you have to open the one door. It's almost like a spaceship like open one door closed that one of the shoes off, they need to open the second door to go in, and that's how it keeps it like the air pressurized or whatever. There's a bathroom, there's a, there's hours at the bottom of the hill and a bathroom so that you can shower and whatever. But then at the top of the hill where the bubbles are, there's a second bathroom. So if you have to pay in the middle of the night, it's not that you don't all the way down the hill. Like it's right there. Can you be naked and like having sex in their ESI, you know what? You can't see anyone else's bubble like they're not that far like you're not alone a little, but like no one could see. Yeah. And the mind was the best because it was like very woodsy vibe, bubble had trees surrounding it. A Livia was open a little bit which made her better to see the Northern Lights and stuff to be on your bed, looking of the Northern Lights that, yeah, that's the whole appeal of the one in Iceland is if it's northern light season, that's will love it is because a lot of Iceland, if the hotel, the wake you up when the Northern Lights come out, you'll miss it because you can't tell what they come out. But this way like do is look. We could kinda see them as we were going to bed at like ten PM, but then I set an alarm for midnight to wait back up and see if they were still out because I wanted to see them and they were out brighter, but then the following night, we saw them even four and a town called Vic. The hotel we were at, they give you options like wake you up. If the Northern Lights are out or whatever, but they were actually out pretty early. It was like eleven o'clock, and we saw they were like simmering dancing. It was moving around and it was just incredible one of the Northern Lights like in real life, like shades of grain. I think sometimes they looked purple if they're not like real. Strong, but they just streak green across the sky, but they literally shimmer like they boo. It's so weird. It's like the light to like dancing innocence. Craziest thing. It's so cool. I'm trying to go after. Now, like when you do splurge on food like we had like three or four meals that we were on, and it was like, all right, by the water, there's like the freshest season ev- ever had. It was honestly was the trip of a lifetime. I loved it. All right. It is dad's gotta. Go, gotta, go to Iceland could live, you hook it up with the eighty bucks round trip ticket or like how that work is tell you. One at is like a lie, just lie and say, you got engaged, and he wanted us to get. Just to propose on this trip. It actually might not be about idea, sir. Lights are out. It's all and then you pop it pop the question the question, the bubble and not the bubble notable. Okay, problem is a ring or anything. You know, there's sometime. Lorraine Schwartz cholera that I saw like a bunch of press and it was like, I'm not talking to Neil anytime soon. And that was like the headline like, oh, God. And I was like, stop giving Neil impress gotta, give Laurien Schwartz profit xactly. Okay. Or I I miss ya a see you in LA soon. I feel like I feel like we can still do the show just be next to each other. All right.
Wells Adams and Brandi Cyrus's show
