"To take his spot and steve young behind him. And it just happened so I would love to see russell finish his whole career and seattle. This guy is a fixture. here he's a mainstay. He's been part of this organization since he carol came in and he's got a lot of success here so you'd love to see him finish his career but most of the time that does not happen when you start to see these squabbles happened. Ten years old nine ten years into your career. That's when you probably start to see the writing on the wall. When do you think before we let you go war. When do you think the. Pete carroll honeymoon starts to kind of unravel to a degree well. He's he's pretty He's pretty successful here. Because again they continue to keep rebuilding this roster. They keep young guys in here. And pete is a coast is really good with the young guys. As far as how coaches how. He inspires He can get guys to play it in at another level. And i think they have a really good roster coming into this year. What they've done in the offseason but You gotta have that continuity with quarterback and with their avenue offensive coordinator who came in from the rams. I think think is going to be good for them. and then injuries you know always play part whether you're going to be successful or not but if you if you what they have on paper right now i think this is going to be very competitive team but this is a very competitive division. You know it's going to be one of the toughest divisions in football with the forty niners coming back with all their players healthy. They'll have a quarterback hopefully healthy this year and jimmy garoppolo gotten better because of matthew stafford even though they did lose some things on defense and i think the cardinals are going to be better this year. So it's going to be a very competitive vision. But i think the seahawks are going to be right there. When it's all said and done we got to let you go. The first thing wilson's going to have to do when they get together in the off season has apologized to his offensive line in might be true but he said some things this off season. That are not going to sit well for the guys. Protecting it should be an interesting rod. Appreciate the perspective from the hall of famer warren. Thank you thanks a lot you to still to come a full quarter of the league. Eight teams could select quarterbacks in the first round. Get this not one of them. Could be named jacksonville. The jets the forty. Niners of the falcons. How could that be the case. We'll tell you next. It's real or not real keyed k. J. z. on espn radio and the espn app..

NFL Approves 17-Game Schedule and Drops a Preseason Contest
"Ravens will play 17 regular season games, the NFL announced yesterday. All teams will have an extra game tacked onto their schedule and a preseason game removed within the NFC North. Arguably, the biggest game added is the Ravens getting an extra home game? Versus the Los Angeles Rams. The Steelers get a home game versus the Seattle Seahawks, while the Browns extra home contest is versus the Arizona Cardinals and the Cincinnati Bengals. 19 game will come against the 40 Niners. The Super Bowl will now we move back a week the February 13th which places it directly in the middle of the Winter Olympics in Beijing. Coincidently. Russell Wilson still wants Antonio Brown in Seattle
"Elements so last week long time. Nfl insider. john. Clay said on ninety three seven. Bannon pittsburgh that russell wilson is lobbying the team to sign super bowl winning receiver antonio brown wilson's name has come up in trade talks this season Obviously he hasn't been fully pleased with the seattle seahawks. That's no secret max kellerman. What's your reaction to wilson wanting. I'm confused here. I'm confused because abc does not come the same discount. He came on last year. The bucks right. There's a market for him. Now that's going to be more competitive than it was so it's not just like give basically getting abc for free. He wants them to lure a be away from a super bowl winning team with a great quarterback who still doing it and a great defense and everything all the things that russell wilson was complaining. He doesn't have right. Like i'm confused. Because ross i thought this was about your offensive line which through under the bus or not having a defense. Well there's a limited limited resources in the nfl per team. There's a salary cap. So you must rob peter to pay paul for every cent you spend on antonio brown. You can't spend that sent on your offensive line poor on your defense and it's not like you don't have metcalf and lock it. You have a receiving corps so of course what quarterback wouldn't want to throw the ball to. He's one of the greatest. Whoever did it but given the situation. He's lobbying for another receiver. I thought that was about the offensive line or the defense
Chicago Bears sign Andy Dalton
"Bears have reportedly agreed to a one year deal with former Bangles and Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton. The contract is reportedly worth $10 million with another $3 million available in incentives. The Bears were reportedly looking to trade for Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. But we're told that Seattle was not looking to trade
Shaquill Griffin exits Seattle Seahawks, heading to home state Jacksonville Jaguars
"Losing a Pro Bowl defensive player to Jacksonville. Here's Bill 48 Pass breakups and 16 picks in four seasons playing corner for the Seahawks. Play action, again by Shaquille Griffin, A person familiar with negotiations says Jacksonville and Shaquille Griffin have agreed to a three year contract worth up to 44 a half million dollars, including 29 million guaranteed. It's the most significant move for Jag's new head coach, Urban Meyer. When brother should keen Griffin, also a free agent could be leaving Seattle to join the Jacksonville team.
Predictions vs Reality NFC West, Seattle Seahawks
"I predicted the Seattle Seahawks to go 11:00 and 5 last year. I pretty much nailed it. They went 12 and for the only game I missed was the San Francisco 49ers. I could not predict that the $59 would have a bunch of injuries. I thought that the Seattle Seahawks and the 49ers would split their series each win one game against each other instead Seattle beat the 49ers in both games. So that's literally the one game it's kind of crazy. I was horribly wrong about the Cardinals the Rams the 49ers. I nailed Seattle. My prediction was right there for I'm actually not that interested in Seattle. Like I like I said, I'm actually way more fascinated when I get stuff horribly wrong. I said before the year that Seattle relies too heavily on Russell Wilson, they're starting quarterback 2000sq them from their problems and kind of ended up being true now, they brought in the receiver Phillip Dorsett. They brought in Phillip Dorsett from New England. I was curious to Phillip Dorsett kind of a breakout year and Go from a guy who was infuriating to watch a New England to maybe having a great season playing with Russell Wilson. Unfortunately Phillip Dorsett did not play a single game the poor guy hurt his foot in training camp and by November Phillip told I was getting surgery to remove bone spurs from his foot. I encourage you look up a bone spur does not look like a comfortable thing but credits yet. I Seattle try to get Russell Wilson some Playmakers. I thought we were set to not work out. Josh. Gordon did not work out. They brought in. You know Speedy Josh Gordon. He had a setback in recovery. Seattle had to end up cutting him so long so brought in Greg Olsen. They they got a veteran tight end Greg Olsen and I look I got a lot of respect for Greg Olsen. He's awesome. Last year Greg Olsen. However was underwhelming had 24 catches for 239 yards one touchdown played an only 11 games missed a couple of games with an injury. So in the end Greg Olsen retired, so Phillip Dorsett, Josh Gordon, Greg Olsen, like the move Seattle made to try to support Russell Wilson just didn't work out and that's not bad. It just it didn't it didn't work. Unfortunately right now again, I love Greg Olsen. He's amazing. I cannot wait to hear the guy in the broadcast booth next year. But now the one thing that came out very very well for Seattle on offense was DK Metcalf. G came back up Seattle second-year receiver. Oh my gosh. This guy is a monster. He had 83 catches for 1303 yards 10 touchdowns. I love to see that DK Metcalf is a receiver that is just at the beginning of his eventual domination over the NFL. He already does dominate in some games. So he keeps getting better and better and he keep getting better and better the more we watch him. Now as I look back on Seattle season, one of the things that kind of sticks out to me that's very weird still is I just did not love their 2020 first-round picks Seattle is kind of known for having weird. First round draft picks. They drafted linebacker Jordan Brooks 27th overall. And he was her early on so Jordan books now, I will say I'm not going to trash on Jordan books by the end of the year. He made some plays with doing some good stuff like Jordan Brooks. Very good football player solid right desert looks like a first-round pick the end of the year. But here's what's weird to me is that when the Seattle Seahawks went to a nickel package meaning that you bring in an extra corner or defensive back onto the field to basically stop the past when they win to track a package which is happening more and more in the NFL because teams are throwing more and more than ever before. In a nickel package. Jordan Brooks is on the sidelines not playing maybe part of that is because they were he's a rookie. They're trying to light workload. I don't know but it's kind of weird to draft a first-round pick and then not have the guy on the field. All the time makes me wonder despite Jordan Brooks being a very solid football game. Could they not have got drafted somebody 27th overall last year that could have contributed even more to their team. Just a question. I'm asking cuz I looked at it. I still book how it's bit of an odd pick life. Even though Jordan Brooks can play it's like whack could they not have done something better or maybe more interesting than Jordan Brooks just me asking a question here. You can answer for yourself. I'm just for me. I'm like man, you spend a first-round pick on a guy who's not on the field all the time,
Seattle Seahawks Today: Latest Rumors On A Russell Wilson Trade
"Originally or a few a few weeks ago russell. Wilson's camp released some information that he was unhappy in seattle. They have not formally requested a trade but it seems like the relationship has some conflict there. he has a no trade clause in his contract. There were specific exemptions from four. Team's the cowboys. The saints the bears and las vegas after dak prescott signed is extent like talked about and the raiders recently have back derek carr. They've given their full support. They they wanna move forward their cars. So that really leaves the saints and the bears as the final two candidates for possibly getting russell wilson this offseason so saints are always in salary cap trouble From what. I've learned about the salary cap they can. They ended up being able to just move money around when they need to. But they're always close to reaching that point so they're always during the cat but it seems unlikely that they will be able to make a move for quarterback this price in this caliber. So when you re comes down to it. The bears like the front runners as the most desperate team. Four quarterback if you've watched the nfl shares have always had quarterback issues. They've been in quarterback hell so to speak for the past two decades and russell. Wilson could come in and immediately fix that so the bears are desperate. And i see the bears as the front running candidate to lead russell wilson or land russell. Wilson this offseason. So when did all this start with russell. wilson is come out of nowhere I would say to myself when i first saw. Russell wilson wants out. I was shocked. But although it's not that cut and dry comes down to russell wilson. Mp carol's relationship. So they've won a superbowl. They made playoffs made. They made the playoffs. Eight times in the last nine seasons which is absurd. It's absurd to think there was wasn't been playing in the nfl for the last nine seasons But he's been assault as they come. He's true winner. he goes to the playoffs. he's clutch and i see. The situation is very similar to the tom. Brady situation new england. You had tom brady and bill play for all those years. Winning all those super bowls and talk. Although tom brady wasn't playing up to his level he wasn't playing bad and they had that loss to the titans of the playoffs. And i think he just had those two egos bill. Belichick and tom brady kind of going at each other. And they've they've finally kind of just tired of that relationship and they wanted to move on. They wanted to start. Something new. And when quarterbacks are with the head coach for so long things start to take a turn for the worst so. I'm not sure if that's exactly what's happening with p carroll and russell wilson but there are a lot of similarities there so it was reported in week. Eleven of the season. That wilson stormed out of an offensive meeting when he was trying to offer insight as to what he wanted done as on a bit done for protection standpoint and so that was the first sign the second sign is just overall. He's been getting hit way. Too much. says he's sacked. He's been three hundred ninety four times since entering the league which is on pace to be the most sat quarterback of all time which is pretty insane when you consider how well he's played and he's just been under duress running for his life literally for the last his whole career and so seattle hasn't found a way to kind of sure up that protection for him. I think that's starting to get frustrating as well. So but more specifically in two thousand twenty. He had a week nine loss to the bills. This was a defining moment for this offense offense because after that moment. Russell wilson had started to throw a lot of turnovers making a lot of risky plays they lose to the bills. The seahawks kind of started to scale the offense back like i said to limit turnovers and did not perform well for the rest of the season so before that game. They were top. Three league based on expected points added per play. They were the number three the top three leak and then after that game from from weeknight on they felt a number eighteen the remainder of the season. So that's a huge huge drop off so they really sputtered down the stretch. They were able to win games and make the playoffs through to their defense. Kind of picking picking up. Their play was weird. Their offense was so good in the beginning the defense awful and he kind of flipped that latter half of the year but he's also getting hit It doesn't seem to meet on their offensive loss of beat philosophy and he. He's definitely voiced that he wants more of a say. In the franchise direction as the franchise quarterback so all these things culminating into one is. Where would he end up.
Seahawks are releasing defensive end Carlos Dunlap
"And the latest comes from Seattle. Adam Schefter reporting that defensive and Carlos Dunlap will be released today by the Seahawks. 32 year old was acquired from Cincinnati via trade this past season. With the Seahawks, sending offensive lineman BJ Finney and 1/7 Round pick to the Bangles. Ironically, the Bangles just released Finney last
Seattle to open more permanent COVID-19 vaccination sites in Rainier Beach, West Seattle, Lumen Field Event Center
"Seattle is setting up permanent mass vaccination sites at the lumine field events center also in rainier beach and west seattle seattle mayor. Jenny durkan says the expansion will reach thousands more vulnerable residents each week and thousands more with enough supplies. And i spoke with mayor durkan about this expansion and why it is so needed here. Despite the fact that seattle was the first to kind of experienced both hospitalization deaths of covid because of the hard work sacrifices that the businesses and residents have made we have for the top thirty cities or so in america the lowest level of disease in hospitalization and part of the reason for that is. We're able to stand up just a first in class testing system. We wanna first in class vaccination system and so we're building the infrastructure to make permanent some of our vaccinations sites and to be able to be one of the first cities in the country to vaccinate all of its residents that need to be vaccinated and of course it requires us to get a steady dose of the vaccines. But it's looking like we will in some very excited. They will make a couple of our vaccination sites permanent We'll stand up a mass vaccination site and we'll open additional sites as time permits well. We're the new mass vaccination site you're talking about coming online. The new the new mass vaccination side is going to be what's now called. Bloomfield used to be centurylink people. Think of where the seahawks play. And how about what's going to be going on at the rainier beach and west seattle facilities those way. We'll make the rainier beach and west seattle facilities permanent vaccine sites It's incredibly important just to be able to reach all parts of our community particularly those who've been hardest hit by the virus and we know clearly from the data that Our communities of color in particular have been hit by cove not just the health impacts but the economic impact and the health impacts have been significantly disproportionate. So i'm very excited. We'll be able to keep that rear beach Facility open and have it as a permanent vaccine location and also very excited that we can keep west seattle open because as you know not only are the number of underserved communities in that area but it also because the west seattle bridge it's access to other parts of the city has been significantly diminished. So we've got to bring the vaccine to the people that need it absolutely. You mentioned the communities of color. Do you know what the vaccination rates are looking like when it comes to inoculating these communities much more percentage of the population. Getting the disease and much lower portion. Actually getting the vaccines. That's why the city of seattle has stepped up and are are. We are really providing that equity lens or vaccinations and really proud of seattle fire department. And all the work. They've done but very proud of the community based organizations who have stood up helped us implement a program so that we've been able to do pop up clinics in the communities for those who've been under served and seventy percent of the vaccinations that we've been able to deliver have been to buy pock community. We're really pushing with our community. Based partners to get those people who might not have access to healthcare. They might be hesitant to get the vaccine or have language barriers and by doing that. We're we're reaching the people that that are most vulnerable and need the vaccine. Will you mentioned hesitancy in the groups that you've had discussions with we've heard a lot about this certain communities of color just being simply afraid to get given the us history and medical practices here in our country. But do you really think it's an issue or are we just talking about lack of access to the vaccine. So i think it is both i think right now because we are in the period where they're scarcity. We're working hard to make sure that we get the shots arms and and and getting them to the right people so using the lens for that soon. I think we will have enough vaccine to deliver. And then we'll have to shift to try to get people who would be hesitant to come. You have to remember that. For the last four years the federal government waged war against are immigrants and refugees. It's hard to then turn on a dime and tell them they can now trust government. And so that's why it's very important to have community based partners that people that speak the language or that are trusted messengers and has the new mapping tool created by the university of washington helped you achieve these goals or is there something more that can better serve these bypass communities the tool has been very helpful because it gives us the actual data showing Vice zip code where the disease is most prevalent and so we can see using that tool that we have not been able to reach some of the communities most at risk for the disease that helps us target zip codes but we still need the community based partners who can work with people that they trust to get them to the vaccine sites.
Inside The Russell Wilson-Seahawks Rift
"Years russell. Wilson has been wanting to throw the ball more and at the start of this year. It finally happened russell. Wilson was not good in the first half of the twenty twenty season. He was excellent deep cap touchdown. Seattle you run down there and set in his answer. Any better than that was fourth in yards per attempt. Weeks one through nine i. In passing. touchdown percentage was second in passer rating. Wilson keeps as default talk. He was legit. The best player in the league madden gave him a ninety nine overall rating during the season because he was cooking notion as he throws an accident. Edi feeds defensive player of the years like russell. Lula's legitimately the best guy in football games of the season then week nine arrived and they had this game against the buffalo bills that you recently wrote about. Can you tell us what happened in that game. And afterwards what happened is russell had to cook in the kitchen. Just kind of just caught on. Fire his paycheck wine with a sack at a takeaway from russell wilson. I actually watched that game with a former cr defensive and cliff april and teased talking me through it. And he's like russ's off he's trying to do too much and i think turned it over like four times. He threw a pick on the goal. Line throws for the jordan with tyco. I think that really turned the tables for the whole team. After that loss where they gave up forty four points and turned it over a bazillion times and got embarrassed in buffalo. Well what i would tell you that. I don't recognize that game. We haven't seen the look like that and it's a game that i don't have any place in my brain for. He told us he didn't even have any space in his brain for that game. That's very important subjects right like the fact that he considered that not seahawks. Football was influential the rest of the year. Well the following week against the rams things. I guess only got worse. Wilson throws and the other one four darius williams second game. I know that there are better days ahead. I'll use a baseball now but sometimes you go up to the plate you know and you don't have your way today mike. You and our colleagues. Mike sando jason jank's wrote about a meeting. That happened shortly after that loss to the rams can you take us inside that meeting room and just explain what went down russia's meeting with the coaches normal game planning type of meeting and he has suggestions he is giving input usually does and his suggestions just weren't dismissed. There were dismissed in a way that russell didn't feel appreciate it. And i think that is really important. I'm sure they disagree in every meeting ever but in this particular instance rust belt that he was not being appreciated so rushed stormed out was basically this idea that. How dare anyone in this building. Be dismissive of my ideas. I am of the quarterback was almost like kevin durant warriors when he was like no way up. I'm kevin durant russell wilson and he rustled perceives him to be someone who has succeeded. In spite of what's been around him not because of running for his life making the pro bowl with battle lines perceive that to be like the story of his career. And you get to week eleven. And it's like do. Just chill out. We got this no. You don't don't get it. I got it and that forced him out the door. Russell in the second half of the season was which is not himself like he was twenty eighth in yards per attempt in his final eight games he was sixteenth. In a touchdown percentage nineteenth in passer rating. These are bad numbers. These are not just like below average twenty nine yards per attempt man that was lower than the cincinnati bengals. Even when the circumstances are bad around russell he's been good enough to elevate situation still played inefficient level and twenty twenty was the first time it was like. Wow he's not able to elevate the lack of talent or execution of preparation around him and it produced like some of the worst numbers of his career certainly produced the worst playoff game of his career against the rams in the wild round sitting meeting big. Who's going into other sack four sacks two takeaways the interception return for the touchdown and floyd now all right. Let's fast forward a few weeks to the super bowl. The seahawks have been knocked out by the rams in the wildcard round and russell. Wilson is at super bowl. Fifty five in tampa bay sitting with none other than commissioner. Roger goodell mike. Tell us what you found in your reporting about russell. Wilson's experience at the super bowl. You know it's really interesting. Because i tweeted during the super bowl. That antonio brown caught a touchdown from tom brady in front of russell. Wilson there is the pass for the touchdown. What drive a super bowl. Winning drive that brady's only done throughout his whole career. I kind of just said it like star cast the as a joke. Not really thinking about how russell fell and then as our reporting i was like okay so i i was right like he is really upset. And it's so many factors. There is the fact that tom brady is in. The super bowl is the fact tom. Brady's they're playing pine. A good line is the fact that tom brady is playing in a system. That gives him some atonomy like got to pick players gronk. Antonio brown is the fact that mahomes is there again laying for again in a system that like essentially like his talents. The last time also played in the super bowl loss of tom brady seven years later prime many years. Tom brady's back. I suppose in a soup. Kitchen fuming so during the superbowl. He's texting his quarterback coach. And just close. Friend jake heaps. He's a local radio guy. Here jake to set it on the radio. He's talking about how russ was missed during the game texting him. They'll look the he had was in reflective of the text messages. I was receiving russell wilson. Just ultimately the overall sentiment was that he was mad that he was not lying in this thing and then russell spoke to the shortly after the game show. What's up with our line. You see that. Winning requires a good line and the gist of peace response. As far as i was told is about faith. And just you know we got this. And that just wasn't good enough for us
Bill Barnwell Breaks Down NFL Quarterback Moves
"So bill. We gave you do the math a whole month away from this podcast before our dependency bio chemically kicked back in so i just hope the last four weeks have been everything that you personally needed. Pablo got on many vacations. I turned around my life after six months of just staying watching football now. Bill barn wells weekly column on. Espn plus and he hosts the bill. Barnwell show podcast realistically. I have done something that few human beings have accomplished. I managed to get one pack of moments from nba. top shot. yeah. We share that same addiction. You are far deeper into the game than me. I realized over the weekend. I just want there to be an nfl top shot. Because i feel like that's going to happen right. It has to. i mean. Imagine the things you could do. You could send somebody that colts fake punt from years ago or or if you wanted to try some of your friends. Perhaps you could send the russell wilson interception from the nfl top shot to a certain person with the initials m used to host the show. Yeah just randomly picking in that example in those initials absolutely but bill. We dragged you back here. Speaking of a certain quarterback who threw a certain interception emotionally terrorized ours. Because this is an especially dramatic. Nfl offseason. they're all these big name. Quarterbacks who want out of these relationships that seemed from a distance at least pretty broken and russell wilson and the seahawks. I need to ask you about that. I because i know russ isn't feeling respected by head coach. Pete carroll reporting. I know that carol wants to revoke all of his cooking privileges. We've heard now. Russell wilson like storming out of meetings which is kind of funny to imagine like door very lightly slamming so this particular soap opera. What is all of it. Feel like to you much ado about nothing really. I mean i just i. Just don't buy russell wilson drama. I go back to his contract. Negotiations this is the same player in the same agent. Who wants imply that he would leave football in the middle of these negotiations entering the final year of his deal to try professional baseball. Where russell wilson once for the iraqis and the organization he hit to twenty eight in the low minors before returning to college football. It was not a realistic threat. But if that way does he want the seahawks to give him more helpful on the offensive line which has been sort of the crux of his public complaints. Yeah i do believe that. And i think that the seahawks could benefit from giving him more help. They relied on russell wilson to run his way out of sacks and free pressures from unblock players which has worked for that stretch buddies also taken a ton of hits cuss russell. Wilson plays the way he plays. He is going to take a ton of sacks regardless of how good his protection is the best way honestly pablo to get him. Hitless frequently would be to run the ball more. Which is the exact thing. Russell wilson was trying to get the seahawks do lasso last offseason. So there is something here but i very much doubt that leads to a trade. My favorite thing about this new cycle i think is that russell wilson has relayed via his wrapped. Adam schefter that he is not demanding a trade but if he were there are these four specific teams that he'd like to go to the bears. The cowboys the saints. The raiders does any of that make sense to you know not at all i mean the classic russell wilson tropez that ciara was going to pick teams him in new york in los angeles which this is the opposite that list even the teams he chose are so strange. Maybe you'd argue that. He chose teams with great offensive. Lions triumph of the seahawks. But the trade doesn't really add up the same. Stu have agreed offensive line. But they're like sixty five million dollars over the salary cap. The cowboys have a great line. Whenever everyone's healthy but they also have back prescott. that's not gonna work either the bears. I don't understand. They don't have a great line or any cap space. That one makes no sense to me on either. Level the raiders. Maybe are the most interesting and plausible candidate of the bunch with a great line and some cap space to work with. But when i think about jon. Gruden as raiders coach. He wants quarterbacks to do exactly what jon gruden wants on every single play. I don't think any if it really adds up to meaningful trae dialogue. I don't think there's going to be a conversation between the seahawks and another team about trying to make a trade for russell wilson work but this is twenty twenty one anything is possible
Seattle mayor warns: 'Keep your eyes off' Wilson
"Wants Russell Wilson to leave the Seahawks. I'm a toy, you can true mayor of the city of New Orleans. And I know Mr Wilson that you will be a great addition to the New Orleans Saints. J.J. Watt is leaving the Houston Texans
"Talk about it real quick here about the current state of the nfl. All right to shawn watson is going to be somebody that's talked about if this is the way the. Nfl becomes with high super caliber superstar quarterbacks wanting out of their russell wilson is somebody you would never think whatever asked to be traded or moved or anything other than go hawks matthew stafford we thought he was potential gonna die on a football field while wearing alliance jersey because he would never ever come out and say hey. This is not for me anymore. Okay i would like to potentially go on and have success somewhere because when legacies are talked about hall of fames or talked about. I just heard what happened. philip rivers. I would like that not to happen to me. But this is not the type of guy i am at all now got. Jj watt not that type guy at all by all accounts. He's going in saying. Get me out of here. That's when it gets interesting because now it's not you know because back in the day they would move somebody is they're labeled a distraction. Let's get out of here. Let's go do whatever now. It's like all of the biggest name players that you would never expect a walter payton man of the year potentially the greatest philanthropic person in the nfl is potentially saying you know what i mean a new landscape. I'm intrigued to see how this continues. How each of these situations gets talked about judge in how many of them actually happened. Because the seahawks without russ stink. The texans were out the shawn watson. Probably gonna stink now without. Jj watt not to jj watt winning. Them games good player. I mean he's a great player. He's gonna play well somewhere else. Seahawks management not happy with Russell Wilson
"Some drama in the streets russell. Wilson's team his personal team of fended his. Nfl team his nfl team is not happy with the russell team or russell. Right now. Allegedly will russell wilson be traded. Is russell wilson. The man that the seattle seahawks won all in on and got rid of everybody else could force his way out of seattle because he doesn't like the way he's being protected his chef came out and said hey. Listen we don't like what's going on on the football field. His promotional manager his marketing manager his agent his strength and conditioning coach his body guru. Everybody that is on the team. Ross what's number three team three. I believe his team three came out and said something. About the way the seattle seahawks have operated entreated the three in team three that was just moments or maybe even an hour or two before. Russell wilson was three was scheduled to go on with dan. Patrick was this a plan by team three to get a little bit of drama contrivances sparked so that maybe they could get russell wilson out of seattle into another city that maybe they feel he'd be able to win a super bowl again at be back in that conversation back in the mvp conversation and all that because that seems a little bit of a combo there. We're going to leak some shit. About how pissed off we are. Then we're gonna have russell wilson by the way chug somebody's celsius me. Die right there.

"Uh to win that thing and to go 26 and three the Seahawks when Russell Wilson does not play well, obviously, the Seahawks don't play well. In the last couple of weeks he had has not So the Rams beat the Seahawks in L A. And they are six and three. So that's the rest of the NFC West. What your thoughts there? Well, I thought that they would all be playoff teams. I thought the 40 Niners. I didn't have any way to envision all these injuries. I thought all for the Rams were the one team we just didn't know about. Because they had changed so much of what they do. But their defense is incredibly fast and what they did to Russell yesterday second six times, picking them off twice or Russell. When they get off to the five and I'll start is touchdown to interception ratio is 15 to 3. And then he had that, you know, Sunday night epic overtime game, the one that got moved back because the Raiders had to play earlier out of the Sunday night window. Hey, lost that game, And now he's lost three out of four. You know, he lost in Buffalo. He lost yesterday, The one game he was able to win against the 40 Niners. So the first five TD to interception ratio 15 to 3 the last four It's 4 to 54 touchdowns, five Intercept. I think a big problem. Has been losing their running backs. You lose Chris Carson, you lose Carlos side. Both got hurt in that game. And you know how I got hurt. Celebrating. A, uh, charge down Travis homers a nice player. They brought Alex Collins back, But you know those two guys, they're just especially Carson. It's a lot like what's going out of the 40 Niners during this three game losing streak. If you don't have any running game, and you become one dimensional It's hard. And in Seattle is just not good enough. Defensively. They I think they're gonna get better is to time goes on. But they haven't shown it and I will see what they do in a short week against Arizona, but Arizona's got to travel to them. And then the Rams are just their defense is just incredibly fast. So I think I think all three of these teams will make the playoffs. One will win the West. Obviously, the other two will be in the wild card in Um, that's what's disappointing about yesterday. As you noted before the 40 Niners and I, you know, going out of the game. Tried to envision a scenario of the 14 letters could actually win the game. And I told you and Larry and Janice what it would take and you had to be a plus. You know, I couldn't turn the ball over four times you had to protect and You did that? Okay. Wasn't great. Certainly CJ Gardner. Johnson has wrecked the game from the slot. I think you handled their inside guys reasonably well. Cam Jordan didn't wreck the game, but We were so worried about their inside, guys. You just didn't You didn't block the nickel that ask Dante wonder if he's ever heard of a nickel blitzing as much as they did yesterday. But if you would've gotten that game, you'd be a 500 going into the Of I and you would think you know you do you have a chance coming out of it. You still do, but it's tough, but these air These air three good teams and the Cuyler Murray and they're calling it the Hail Murray. And I, you know I thought he played. He's playing differently this year than last year. I think they know they're good. By getting DeAndre Hopkins. The other areas. They've improved their defense. Their defense was dead last in the NFL last year. It's much better this year. Obviously. But, uh, his, uh His accuracy on some throws have been off, but he does make big plays his ability to run I knew he could do that watching him in college, But I didn't think you'd be doing as much because he really is an elite thrower of the ball. There's not a throw he cannot make. He's relying on his legs a little bit more than I thought, but it's fine. And he doesn't really get tagged much because he's so damn fast and he will slide at your feet and he will go out of bounds. And if you got him surrounded, he will just go down and take a sec. So he does. At a young age, she's learned to protect his body. But the play he made yesterday and that was a wild game. Buffalo had a big lead. They came back. He ran in for two and Buffalo hits digs. Josh Alan, does they go ahead and that the play he made going to his left to get away from the SEC for Mario Addison already had him on the ground three times yesterday. I don't know how he got his shoulders square. I mean, you're digging the Aaron Rodgers plays and most of them are rolling to his right. Aaron did have the one rolling to his left when he had chef Janis almost in the same spot in that stadium, the same end zone. Which was incredible in a playoff game, But Tyler's was even Maura like, how did he do that? He ran straight line towards the sideline, somehow got his shoulders squared up to the line of scrimmage enough. So unleash that unbelievable throw, and then you just gotta freak. On the other end DeAndre Hopkins, who jumps with buffaloes, three best defensive backs, the two safeties and today Venus and he comes down with the ball. Just incredible, but I I think we knew because Arizona's in the schedule week one, John, we talked about it in the off season. I thought they'd be a playoff. I thought they could make a 40 Niner type climb. In one year. Now the question is, is Arizona good enough? To win the NFC West this year and not just make it is a wild card. I think, given the other teams in the division, Seattle's defense, they were a little bit better yesterday. Obviously, Wilson's gonna be better than he was yesterday. But unless they can get a little healthier, Jamal Adams has a shoulder injury. Now that they're talking about Whitworth is has got a tourney cl yesterday for the Rams, So he's out for the year. They're they're great left tackle. So how that could be his career? Absolutely. Yeah, That could be the end of that. So they've got some issues, And obviously everything's about staying healthy, but that game yesterday. I mean, look, there's only be five should be five and four. But as you said Hopkins went up among three guys and Got that. And that could change everything for Arizona as far as the division..

"A mission man all in on winning the Super Bowl being the best leader teammate he can be. An a man who will give everything he has to the city of Seattle and the twelve all across the world. Thank you for believing in me. Well, the seahawks were getting it all round playmaker Jamal Adams, according to NFL next Gen stats entering the league in two thousand Seventeen Adams, ranks fourth among say peace and completion percentage allowed as the nearest offender. He's recorded the pressure on. Excuse me forty seven plays the most by any defensive back, and he has thirty three run stops tied for second amongst the DB's. Bigger. The easy thing is to say the seahawks getting all pro, but dig deeper. Tell me more. What Kinda player! Are they truly getting in this trade? Well he's a difference maker. A guy that can can affect the game in a myriad of ways people look at this and they say well. He's just the safety guy that's going to play in the middle of the field or God is going to come down. No, you're getting. A playmaker got took and putting the box and say okay. He can play like a linebacker because he could snuff. The Ron may attack in the backfield and affect the running game. Okay well. What else can you do? How can you change that? You can stick him in pass coverage and put him up against the tight end. We've seen him go. Against Rob Gronkowski one on one thing about the great tight ends in this. League Kelsey kiddle. Sometimes you've got line and put safety up against them one on one. So what do you have a player that can play the run, but But you can stick him in coverage against some of the better athletic hybrid tidy is that we have been asleep in Oh by the way if you need somebody to get after the quarterback, don't we all remember display of USTA giants? The blitz come in the sack, fumble and the touchdown the head free so there are people around the league that are looking at this and they're going to say. You traded what for safety. Here's the way I would ask them to look at this Euphrates. Playmaker and the National Football League I. Don't Care What position you play whether your punter whether you're running back a wide receiver. If you are a playmaker, you can't affect the game and when you look at Seattle in where they are, and normally, they picked between twenty, three, twenty, five, the last five years I, trading away to ones for a can be a playmaker. Your team and you have your franchise. Franchise quarterback to go along with Jay Wright Bobby Wagner. This team is set to make another run deep into the postseason this year and I think it's one hell of but free for John. Snyder, pekair shadow to play making punters everywhere Johnny Hecker. The Rams I'm looking at you all right, so we know we're. boettger feels about this one, but jeff is Jamal Adams worth basically two first round picks. No Listen I. He is a baller I have no I have no issue. What will Seattle Defense? The better boomer just laid out perfect absolute. They will be better with Jamal Adams on the football field. There is no doubt in my mind, but do you give away that not only can you give away too I? Do give away a good player who is in your back starting the last two years and swap up all these by the way we gotta go pay him. He's got to get a contract done right. He's got this year. But he was with the jets. The issue was his contract. You still have to get that. So what are we talking about? Salary cap? Wise now you look at the seahawks go. Does this guy get us over the edge as a super bowl contender? Reason I say the answer is no is because your offense and defensive lines have struggled. You haven't struggled inexpensive backfield. You haven't struggled with your quarterback to what he was just saying. You know you've got superman back there. Let's help them. Let's help him be a better player. Let me so when you're looking at it I think he's a heck of a ball player. Absolutely the rate playmaker absolutely would give up, but they gave up to get him regardless of position. This is where on an organization they have other. T V were more pressing a safety flash. Whatever playmaker you have on the back. Can't put points on the board. Here's the bottom line I. think that in totality over season they outscored their opponents seven point seven thing about Baltimore Kansas City. San Francisco all the teams that. When you talk about superbowl contenders, they score a whole lot more points than the other guy. You got to score points in this league right now. It's great to have a good safety back near her. Thinking the game. Ultimately, he does not put them over the edge on a super bowl contender. In their. Diana thought you had something to add, but we'll keep moving forward then. Feel feel like did I. Appreciate that you saw my face just staring at a jeff and and I'm I'm agreeing with with justice saying, but also going back to a burger was talking about you. Know Jamal just being an incredible player that Swiss army knife we know, the kind of defense saint played in New York. They played a lot of man, which allowed Jamal Adams to blitz as much as he did. We know Seattle plays a lot cover. Three I don't know if they're going to be blitzing him as much as we saw them do that in New York, so a lot of his success. Had Credit to do with Greg Williams in the scheme that worked for him in New York but in terms of putting Seattle over the judy now become the favourite in that division while Jamaluddin, surly makes an immediate impact. I don't think he's the piece that puts them into that conversation of contender for the super. Bowl Really, interesting here so I'm going to get right back in this book because I feel like you're on an island now. I I don't mind dealing an island Gilligan was on island. Fair pretty well so did. CASTAWAY! His now say in order to win you division. You're going to have to get through the forty niners, because I think going to be Seattle in the forty nine division. And what does the forty niners do well? They run the football lineup. Come at you the Seattle, seahawks struggle stopping to run so now you have a sacred. It can be a playmaker stopping. Stopping the run I. Understand the value and putting them over the top. The Seattle seahawks aren't there for all. They were within one play of having homefield advantage in the postseason against a forty niners, so imagine if they get there and everybody's gotta come through Seattle those twelve I understand. He doesn't put points on the board, but he sure as hell can take. Off, the Boards Jeff Saturday and feel let me say there. People are gonNA. People are going to figure this out who won the frayed did Seattle when the trade or did the twin the tree feel? I got traded for I got traded to the Indianapolis. Colts with my man Jeff Saturday the coats in a second round. Pick Tampa Bay for old book. You know who to the bucks trade took with second round. Pick Savvy Piscotty Kelly. Do you know what this could tell he is? He's wrestling somewhere and nobody's heard from him. Think that the Indianapolis Colts one then freight so. We don't know who won the trae until Joe Douglas Mixed those first round picks, but sometimes you can get a player that can make an impact, and just even a nose tackle made an impact in indy, and we won a super bowl, so let's see what Jamal Adams can do for the Seattle seahawks anytime. You're able to good. What do you got strength? Best Trae we ever made man. Hey, floors. You're a man, boone. We ever pay. Put us over the top maybe. Talk all you guys need to do is reminisce about winning. Super Bowls together next thing you know you see everything I want to get. "I love this question from Josh. You got one and a half bytes left of something that you love on your plate do you. A take a tiny bit and then one full bite or be finished the entire thing in one bite. I guess there's also an option C. Which just keep them out. So I was thinking what about ten small but one thing you've got to say if you have one and a half bytes left of something you love you have not planned while this is like the seahawks in the draft this year in the free agency. The reason that you only have one have bites. Does that you did not like a plan. Everything accordingly for the last two bytes right. So that's you've already made a mistake but the reality is the last bite of food you have a meal you love must be the best so you're saving whatever it is you must have the lasting memory of that dish go all in one and a half by half abide full bite. I don't need too much in. Yeah make your last fight the very best. Yes always. That's it yeah agree. You know what I've found over the last couple of weeks back to the grocery question is we had a chef with the seahawks when we originally got there in the old facility and he would whatever was the day before you knew it was going to be in some leftovers. The next day some soup was going to be made out of every restaurant slang in some kind of special. "And I understand your point. The point is is that you know, that they're going to try to run the football. When you look the stats and to me, that's probably sounds a little easier. But the problem is is that when you look at the Seahawks is that as we mentioned Russell Wilson is such a viable runner. But. The saints are more explosive. You know, that's the thing about the Seahawks. They just gonna keep chip on chip and chip and they're not attainment scores Tana points. But there attain the likes the possession and possessions touchdowns with possession is a key. I mean, we can look at Dallas their biggest probably issue. This year's been. Yeah. They may have the possession. But are they actually taken full advantage of what they don't drive say getting the red zone and not scorn now this month right here on the other hand are able to execute. And and yeah, I I'll buy that by that you have to respect Russell Wilson more than you. Do drew Brees because these adult threat. Yeah. You never can get comfortable because he's always going to take off. And he's always going to do something that you're not prepared for or the match doesn't warrant an opportunity to make a play in not that this is easy, but you can to a degree crash the pocket and just reek havoc. And you know that stifles drew Brees we saw that team played. And so do that to Russell Wilson. And he's he will kill you. I mean, he's I've never done this. I don't know if you have he's trying to wrestle alligators. Have you ever done that before? No, no. I haven't even thought about that. I've heard about those people. But I think a couple of them are no longer with us. That's true. It looks it looks difficult. But so okay. So we we acknowledged, you know, this difficult hilas task. You know, what the Seahawks colors kinda look like alligator skin? You know, like just that sort of Topi greenish. You know what I mean? Obviously, the librarian the one that reminded me of that piece soup. Oh my gosh. Look worse than the Oregon ducks uniform kinda similar how do you do? You miss the old Seahawks uniform because I do the old kind of kind of close to the Cowboys ones time with the silver and the blue with the splash green. I. Those I like those, but I'm kind of an old guy wanting to stay young. So was it. Oh guy. Do he likes to likes trendy things? I I like a combination. I like the new stuff that's kind of not your forte. Is you know, I love the Detroit Lions uniforms came here and just a horrible with the live green. It's kinda hard to look at. That's that's very it's not good for TV. What's your favorite uniform that you haven't put on of all the ones you did? And I'm talking to your favorite your favorite color. Whether it was the wider, the navy, and whatever it was. I'm going to say the. When I was certainly with the Dallas Cowboys. I I like the blue away jersey sokaia, I never got the really the throwback the white. You know, how they do it? Now why excuse me dark bottoms and why I think white white jerseys. I think. But I I would say I really I was more. I was more biased. I I like the darker color because. It may be it made me look more chiseled grad. I can't even pronounce chisel swell. That's even possible for me. Because I I was a guy that really did have much definition when it come to the camp to the contour my body. But yeah, just like black and makes you mix you look Lehner and Maynard pay. Whatever that maybe this will amaze me, though, Tony is you're saying your favorite jersey ever. This is more on trivia. Warning american. Friday. Yes. Friday, winter solstice day, druids and pagans all over the world, celebrating the solstice for some reason. I don't know why. But this is what they do shortest day of the year. Son goes up for thirty eight seconds. And then goes right back down today. So watch for that. I thought it was forty five six I just found out. It's thirty eight oh it used to be forty five. But we move closer to the sun and now thirty thirty eight. Yeah. All right. So today's matchup is the is who has an issue Jeffey Kansas City to versus the Seahawks. And of course, more on tribute is a game that we play to predict the outcome of a particular NFL game. And that is the game that we chose this week. It's been a great year for more on trivia, we've predicted thirteen wins and only two losses out of four. It's that's a strong season telling you we're going to the playoffs and we're getting a first round. Bye. Oh, yes. The thirteen to two that's always secured. If we finish if we finish. Well, let's see how many how many games are left when we come back from vacation one or two. So if we if we finished fourteen in to my mean, seriously, right seriously. We got home field advantage. I think through the through the playoffs. Field. All right. So we start in which city Seattle's the home team Seattle. Okay. So the home team gets the first call and we call convenience stores. You know in your local area the Seattle greater Seattle, greater Kansas City area. And we we asked them if they want to answer some questions we have four questions a quarter and the city that answers the most questions correctly at the end of four quarters with the game. Now every once in a while, we have difficulty in getting seventy inside the city we had we had a game in Atlanta few weeks ago. And so they went just outside the Atlanta city limits to Chicago for a contestant that. I will say that doesn't work though. It does not when I said greater the would you say in greater area like Boise as an example? Okay. Inner Boise is two hundred fifty thousand but the greater Boise area has seven hundred nine thousand threat propolis, correct? But greater Boise doesn't include Salt Lake City. It doesn't does not know it. Okay. Sicken that though boy see Idaho one hundred and nine. Does though. That's incredible to me as credible. Wow. It's crazy. "And I think that it really good job at doing that again outside of the first drive Seahawks were for fifteen on third downs. Turns got a lot of penetration. They had seven and a half tackles for loss. They got. They sacked Russell's and four times, and they just wanted to line of scrimmage, and it set up a lot of third and longs for Seattle. And you saw during that game twice the Seahawks shoulder frustration by trying to get some late hits in DJ. Fluker. Justin. Brit. Both got personal foul penalties. Trying to push the pile lane. The hawks really tried to get into charter tender in this game too. You saw. After every incompletion every hit every dropped ball. There was a Seahawks player clapping and in the chargers. Talking trash every single time and the charters never backed down. And I know that's kind of cliche maybe a little bit corny. But these hawks tried to bait the chargers. I mean, that's that's their game. They tried to get in their head. And they went toe to toe with them and on offense the Seahawks. They wanna pound the rock. They want to keep the ball on long drawn out possessions. Keep Abbad rivers hands and keep the crowd in it. And the chargers took it to them. They beat them on the ground mongering at one hundred thirteen rushing yards. You talked about both Gordon actor average over seventy dollars per carry. And they just ran it down hawks throat and even with the stall drives you talked about some of the splash plays at ten plus yards. But just seems like they look like they could move the ball at will. And you know after this win. There was a lot of talk about how you know. The chargers have to dominate games like this and better teams will beat them. If they play the way they did against. Hawks. But that game wasn't as close as the score indicated. I mean, again, the first drive was a letdown for the Seahawks, but they basically score when the charges were trying to relent yards for time. You know, the dry before half Gus win in that soft zone. They just wanted to eat up clock. And essentially did the same to the second last drive by the Seahawks and the chargers, obviously should've had thirty points with miss kicks, but one because if they don't miss the first kick, they're not going for two on the second. Touchdown thirty one thirty one ten. Yeah. So thirty plus thirty thirty one at least thirty plus points. You know, they can't dominate every single game. But you saw you know, Seahawks titans are average maybe above average teams in the NFL. But even those both those games came down to the wire the chargers, absolutely dominated both those games. Yeah. I think they dominated Seattle more. So than they dominated the Tennessee game. Just because of the. Way Tennessee controlled the clock and was able to March up and down the field. They got stops when they needed them. But I wouldn't say the chargers necessarily dominated the titans game the way they did the Seahawks game. You know, they give up the first drive and then after that as the Seahawks couldn't do anything. I mean from you know, the eight minute Mark the six minute Mark of the first quarter until about the six minute. Mark of the fourth quarter, the Seahawks really didn't move the ball unless the chargers. Let them move the ball. There was no four progress for that Seahawks team. They couldn't run the ball. The chargers pass. Rush was extremely disciplined and they pen Russell Wilson in the pocket. Even when he wanted to run he couldn't find a running lane. There were plays with aero just driving DJ fluker. And some of the other interior linemen back into his lap and freezing them in the pocket. And he just didn't know what to do with the ball. I mean, they they completely dominated the line of scrimmage. They and like I said earlier they bullied the bully. I mean, Seattle wins at home in particular through intimidation..

"The Seahawks improving to one end soon. What's ahead for the Cowboys? They've got a game against the lions next week at AT and T stadium. And while you can never ever ever ever say that a week four game is a must win game. While I think in this case, you could say it's pretty darn close because beyond that are games in Houston against Jacksonville before you get a division game with Washington play at Tennessee team that owns sudden doesn't look so bad. They would they played tough defensively, and they're going to be a tough out. And then, you know, you get Philadelphian Atlanta, the point is you gotta go get these games when they're there for the taking the fleet to road games in Carolina now in Seattle both games offensively putrid played well against the giants for sure got that one. But there's no doubt the Cowboys got to figure this out before they take on the lines. They speak fees. That's a game that they really have to go out and get at home early game. They get many of those early games will they get one next week. "Of the evening and then he started and turn around and that really doesn't happen that often the nfl i think who quarterbacks i think that's why we little bit confused that my wake up moment i guess bordeaux's and i think it was actually a little bit late boys the seahawks game but if he was very good he went through his readings he may great passes great deep passes and i was a super impressed by the skills he shows um i have to say sorry he's not a liability for that team anymore he's not he's the only nonus stars be playing at such a high level they really doesn't make you think that they can go these class yeah and i guess the question will just be to see how dp can take the success right because at this point your certainly thinking to yourself you can see him having a future with the jags and even that some other teams might be willing to look into him now that they've seen some potential but how big of a ceiling is there really on oils and how quick might it be for him to retreat back into his old ways i think that would worry anybody yeah and that's the question that jacksonville half the figure out and quickly right because they're the ones who are you know they have some leverage over hand because they can exercise their option and then they can franchise mcgann but you know he blake might not want to do a longterm deal he my wants to be like her cousin if he's confident in his he also by the way has just makes citizens he'd be confidence in his own improvement in transformation you might poker causing to say hey let me put me on the contrary leyla or but you figure out so let's go because i'm good i'll make 23 million dollars and then i'm gonna get my big contract so there's a lot of parties now who have a very limited campbell size to work with to make decisions about great bertel future i will say this if he goes into the play out there already going playoffs and you advances to say that he's he came it shift i cannot see them letting him go god i love the idea of just a swag you blake borderless leverage such.

"Uh you know the the sort of cautionary tale there about the seahawks trying to bring it outside quarterbacks so they were just incredibly fortunate environ byron maxwell was we'll still available now question was whether or not he was people you know whether or not still had and whether or not he was still the same player uh that he was over his for sport season with the seahawks and he's fit right back in um and you know they they every time they mentioned that they just uh mentioned how fortunate they were that he was available on that they end that they were able to pick him back up or you know just the dolphins so there is so deep at cornerback that you figure there's just not on the roster for barron maxwell and he had the weeks ancestors the case in miami that was a curious one 'cause i don't think they see any money by releasing it was it was purely just a a roster move so it's uh yeah there was but you know as i mentioned that they're that decision ended up a worked out pretty well for the seahawks certainly seems that way and now uh of course he figure with the injuries some secondary even though maxwell is played better than anyone could have imagined you'd figure it was to take some pretty solid efforts from the front seven in particular the front four in terms of their ability to capture the quarterback at an and make plays apple and skirmishes running who impressed you now particularly during the win over the eagles in terms of what they did apple anna scrimmage yeah frank clark why would be that guy duck lightly geared kusak uh yet another will well had to get a penalty where he was off by by um you know a step that would have been a third sacked but um yeah frank clark had one of the best games i think i've ever seen him play there was a you know i think his first sacchi just made this incredibly violent inside moved uh to get free for his sacking yet he he's um really all of those guys though um you know they were actually kinda spin on their.

"Also sunday night up against the eagles obviously it had been a really rough fourgame stretch after that dramatic victory over the texans losing at home to washington the arizona game that was a victory but of course ends with so many injuries including richard sherman as seizing any injury the loss at home to the falcons and then a uh a win win against the four designers that wasn't exactly inspiring the seahawks were six point underdogs at home against the law of the biggest uh the biggest spread against them at home since i believe the traverse jackson era in seattle and then of course really in impressive 24 ten victory one of the more exciting fund games of the year so just to start with this i mean do you think the mood is changing now about this team after this victory yeah yeah i i definitely think so and i i i don't even know actually if if the mood was you know i don't know if if they if it would be fair to say that they've got some you know a great deal of competence back from this game to think that that a lot of the players especially on that defense already had that confidence in you know we we were in a media scrum last week with k j right uh pro bowl linebacker and you know he was informed of your the the fact that as you mentioned they were six point underdogs at home which was most they'd been underdogs home by since two thousand eleven and he would like look you know don't sleep on us and talked about how they still have a lot of talent on that defense and um you know it it is obviously they're not going to be as good without camp chance or richard sherman but you know they still do have five players admit a pro bowl on that side of the ball so i think the point was you know w we still got a lot of talent on that side of the ball and and don't count us out and um i think you saw that sunday night that was you know their most complete defensive performance of the season uh holding the nfl's highest scoring offense to ten points.
