"So let's talk. Let's take back actually and just kinda briefly talk about you know dark knight death metal really was and i've said this the crisis series level event that nobody really saw coming. I mean we should have learned because metal itself ended up being a much bigger like story because it felt like metal much larger impacts on the dc universe as a whole. I mean metal felt like it was gonna be this little thing to the site. Scott snyder self contained but then we got the batman who laughs or he who laughs or lasts you know schnee god the more titles he frigging permeated everything. Nude anything connected the batman justice. Yeah you know so we did this character and it becomes something cemented in the entire world of dc has been one of those characters. That's really become you see it in merchandise. You see like what do you call. You see a lot like you've seen a lot of like it was one of the earlier mcfarland figures you know so it's like it's not like this character had time to really grow round for a couple of years now and so metal became this huge event. It was really cool book. I'd like to revisit. There's so much kills about tenth metal metal being saying for nine hundred metal and then you know the tenth metal. The dark verse. Which in my mind. I was kind of like the dark multi-diverse like the way they talked about college on. Stranger things were like say. Yeah so you have neighbors. And then on the upside down the dark multi-diverse which is the same start. How many how many stories have we had in elsewhere. Where superman has gone bad and all powerful being like superman has gone bad. Well this is like this is like. You're the batman who laughs is like grant morrison's back god in jail la. You know what i'm saying. It's it's back. God gone bad. It's like what when bruises prepared for every eventuality like. That's that's that version of batman gone gone the way of the joker and then i mean think about the i team the very first thing that we got when the new batman and superman thima it was all about the infected from the batman who laughs and i mean scott. Snyder kind of took his own series. You know dude. I'm televised can. I've said the snyder. If you look at scott snyder and he'd say scott steiner fusing but if you look at it if you read. His batman run is is entire batman. Run you read. Batman and robin no wait. Robin eternal really read back any terminal truly believe that was going to be his next arc like he had stuff planned. He was ready to go a decade. I swear in just batman because if you think about like fifty two books would. They made batman eternal and it really kind of felt like the third volume of his quarterback story. But then you take that series and then you bring out his last night on earth that he did right that feels like that connect and then you look at metal and death metal like i feel like he's had to read the article with him he's had to do some re tweaking here and there with what was doing but i really feel. He had this huge through line to do for his characters. Yeah i mean like quite a lot of it was connected because like some of the stuff. I read from different. Different crossover is and some different books. Because i haven't read all of. I am not read all of his run. I read a little bit of his batman. Run and. I have not read batman eternal but i read the last night but some of the things i read. They you see threads picked up in different books. Like in the future like his His last night on earth buck you see stuff. Pick picking up right there. So so yeah. He's definitely had a lot of a lot of threats. You know a lot of things that he bought a seeds that he planted and picked up and picked later he did while the announce yet when when you got books that like we were talking about benefits. I mean how how much was unresolved in twenty eight issues in two different books that he did not. I mean it's not like he planted seeds and picked him up. It was just everything was drug out. It was it was it was done in a much different way. It snyder did it very well. All right well. That's kind of a little bit of ischia metal that i can remember so i have here an. You did a lot more reading on death metal than i did but i have read all. I read every every issue. All the all the one shots tie-ins. So i have here before me Death metal the seven issues. And i have a couple of the alternate covers because it sold out quickly. Usually don't buy a lot of very covers but what's interesting is very covers. Used to cost more anymore. Just the same price as it depends if they're they're the if their regular variants they're the same price but if they're a card stock variant it's dollar more. That's what i thought. But as far as e like so for very covered for seven that's all he had left in stock. The barely any at the very cover for four. Which i like because it's the superbowl prime cover and the very cover for three of supergirl which is weird but cool. So and then i have. As far as tying retires. I got was i- bible secret origin. The last stories of the dc universe in the last fifty two of the multi birds which i have those ones fran.

"And that he painting and the podcast detroit painting in that kind of stuff. I've got her hooked in with the folks at to kind of coordinate finishing off that comic book wall. That's you know in the in the hallway outside the studio. They're finally and getting the biggest. The biggest problem with that. Though is you bought that stuff because of the connection you had with artists and allowed you to tell a story. Yeah which is gone. It's not like buying a stan. Lee book you know what i mean where you know. You're buying something from someone that's relatively unknown. No offense to anybody. That's you know that you put out great work but like you have a connection you can tell the story like. Everything's better with a story like that. My flash gordon painting downstairs But spent way too much money on is way better the story like all my memorabilia downstairs. There's a story except for a couple of pieces. I bought there. Were cool but for the most part everything has a story. I mean it. It's you like we've talked about this before. Like i don't understand you know buying something autographed off ebay like to what end like the whole point of that is you know i want you know that couple minutes. I want you know that conversation. That story the bought an autograph. Gordie howe well i will. I mean he's dead you. You can't really get one of those now. So i mean that's that's an issue You know but it's it's that you know. God i mean all the drops that we've gotten you know we have the opportunity to really get those this year other other other than william hung. Of course i was just about to say But you know you know the you know the you know the scott steiner's and the you know the celtics and the you know anthony michael hall's in you know and i mean that was part of the fun i mean you know getting to go to those kinds and us getting to know them and them getting to know us and starting to look for us those events and having a beer next to michael myers and tell them where to eat pizza right now going remember never ever when you were the guy with the mask and the knife chase that hermaphrodite lady is great. "Positions at Raymond. James Wells Fargo and Prudential Financial Scott's also a CFP and hold series seven and sixty six licenses. Thanks for joining US Scott. Thanks for having me appreciate it. So the subject of our discussion today. If you couldn't guess from our Chicago guests is the Wrigley family. That's known for their chewing dynasty and the main topic we're going to discuss today. Their ownership of the CHICAGO CUBS ICONIC Wrigley Field William Wrigley Junior made his fortune out of their savvy. Business sense or don't lock depending on how you look at it yet. Thirty two dollars to his name when he started selling Wrigley scouring so at the turn of the twentieth century. That's about nine hundred dollars. In today's money you offered customers small premiums particularly baking soda as an incentive to buy his soap. Because that's what I do all my soap. Finding the baking powder was more popular than the soap released. Wish to selling the baking powder and then started giving his customers two packages of chewing gum for each kind of baking powder. They purchase again. Wrigley found that the gum was more popular than the baking powder so he switched his company's focus on once again to the product that would eventually provide him with his fortune in Nineteen Sixteen Wrigley bought a minority stake in the Chicago cubs. Baseball team as part of a group headed by Charles. "Is that something that you've seen as well absolutely? Yeah it's it's very important for families to communicate their wishes. We really encourage our clients to be as open and with their children as they're comfortable with and we realized that there's even within families some privacy there but we a lot of times can't stress enough to them how important it is to have the next generation involved because it's very easy as you just said and we saw this with the Wrigley's it's very easy to repeat these mistakes in an compound these issues over and over again and it really starts with that initial planning because that typically does carry forward to the next generations and you know part of you know you mentioned this communication that we talk about every single episode on this podcast and we're talking about it here again because it is just that important communicating. It's a two way street right so the children know how important you know say that the kids knew how important to call to their father. But now there's some speculation that that wasn't for the youngest rating ring with a third comes with that big a deal. I didn't really care now. You know that's something that is more common than you think you know. You have a lot of a lot of times. Parents have assets that they are deeply passionate about. This is the family business that I built. You know this is my life and sometimes the kids involved in the super proud of being involved in really loves it but also often the they have no interest in that business. They don't have it's not their life. They don't have the same connection to it but the assumption is made that they're just going to step in and happily and passionately pursue it like their parents. And so that's where a place where sort of a two-week communication is very important. Because the plan has to. You know it's not just to get them to have things succeed once they get it absolutely and having especially with a closely held business having a properly drafted and funded buy sell. Agreement is very important and often overlooked especially if the business won't stay within the family and in thinking again of those closely held businesses is once you've done what you can get a client to do comfortably from an estate planning perspective at the end of the day using the Wrigley's is is example. Is it still comes down to liquidity and realistically The Wrigley's had they been aware of that and had they been willing to do. Some planning. Probably could've still only done so much. We're talking about an eighty million dollars. State nineteen seventy seven the state tax exemption. One hundred twenty thousand dollars in one thousand nine hundred seventy seven so they were just a hair over that little. Incidentally the the top state tax rate in seventy seven seventy percent and ironically as. I did some research on this. Nineteen seventy seven also happened to be the highest year in US history with regards to the percentage of people that died that year that were subject to estate taxes. Nearly eight percent of the people that died in one thousand nine hundred seventy seven were subject to estate taxes so they pick a really bad year to to pass away and once. Reagan took office and the number started to move up. You started to see a drastic reduction in that but they just really It was just bad timing. Not that any of us get to have much of a say in that but ultimately the best planning they could have done after just being aware of the issue would have been to planned for better liquidity. And that's where things like life insurance often. Come into play. I know a lot of times. That's not everybody's favorite subject but it oftentimes becomes the best vehicle for a liquidity need but it also is an excellent gifting vehicle as well that we haven't touched on and they're probably would have been a the potential for some really really good use of life insurance. That could have gone a long way in undoing a lot the liquidity issues that the Wrigley's faced a real sort of the ways that you have to think of when you're looking at a state planning right because I don't think most people life insurance. They're not they're thinking that okay. Something happens to me. This will pay off Russia and take care of my kids and that's not really the kind of life insurance I mean. Is that kind of life insurance. It's not really necessarily the purpose of it. Plays an estate plan or or in a financial plan in general and I think getting across clients I is important.

from Star Trek next generation played Wesley and also from the movie stand by me he was born in Burbank California in nineteen seventy two and there you have it on this date in history July the twenty ninth Happy Birthday to you also if you are celebrating a birthday and thank you for for joining us here on Memphis morning news I guess the top local store today is the weather just because it's been awhile since we've had rain and thunder showers and we're gonna have to get back to use to having that for the next twenty four hours it looks like today tonight and tomorrow rain and thunderstorm chances but then things drive back out again but yeah we're gonna have a a bit more a bit more rain this weekend sherry was interesting because yesterday of course cooked out had some friends over which was great and I cleaned out the the ash basin in my grill and with that some of the ashes got on the on the ground I swept them off the deck however to get a hold of him and I and on Saturday I wash my two dogs I gave a bath and then yesterday my one of my dogs who tends to do some kinda anti social thanks not in anger or anything but just some silly things just decided that she was going to take she was gonna lay down over where some of the ashes remained Hey talk to me in the Mike sherry I can't I got in bed pick I think you've got a man I think you got a message for me are you talking on the phone the phone line which has been a mess for you it's going to be tough Manasa okay all right and all right very good sounds like a plan in the one the one great thing about her she will let me know if there is an audible that is called and she is fantastic at that so my dog ends up at the day after take a bath she lays in these old ashes and she's walking around the house smelling like old wet ashes and I got to give her another back today well before the rain hits because then should be like a musty wet ash smell but anyway I digress let's turn our attention from having fun over the weekend to what was supposed to be fine turning to be deadly Jeff manat so joins us this morning on the program Jeff thank you for joining us yesterday at the garlic festival as they were wrapping up terror strikes yeah at this point we know that four people are dead including the gunman fifteen people injured at your voice angle garlic festival of big festival attracts about a hundred thousand people or so in this town considered the garlic capital of the world south of San Jose officials tell us security is very tight there you have to get mag together and you've got to have your bags are purchased persist Jack but that this government apparently capital offense on on the north side of this festival to get in and approach to stage where hundreds were gathered to to do was no concert and and began opening fire I would hold a six year old boy is among the dead we're told that law enforcement officials engage the shooter within about a minute neutralizing him and killing him at this point we're not sure if there's a second suspect based on witness statements of officials believe somebody may have been with this person don't know if this person was shooting or are perhaps the secondary role they're looking into that mould worn for law enforcement agencies are are are on scene at this festival grounds sifting through evidence and and they're asking the public for help you take any pictures that you did you take any video what did you see if anything we want to know about that at this point we don't know a motive we don't know who the suspect is but that exactly that's expected to come out a press conference you set up we just got word ten AM local time there in California weather expected due to give me a little bit more details as to what happened what I heard and Jeff Manasa joins us this morning in and I don't know if you have further information as you said I know Memphis time it will be at noon when they have the press covers ten o'clock local time there that there was a six year old boy that was among those that were killed and his family members also had to be taken to the hospital they were injured so they were all in the hospital not yet listen there the all the deaths are sad and I'm not trying to put a higher value but did but a mostly to think that that it you know much of that family in the hospital and some may not even know that that that the young boy had been killed is just I mean it just pulls at your it's it's just all awful no no matter how you look at it and when you see a child hurts or or injured or killed doesn't need to define just what your heart strings and and that you just you just it's it's it's just an awful awful friend we don't know who this guy is or or or wind the one with this statement says that's ever hear somebody say why are you doing this and and that the suspect allegedly Sir because I'm angry is it yeah are you angry enough to to to to kill cared I mean for god sakes that that's that's where we're at in in gun control California and and we will use this heart the injuries go we know that five people at least five people have been released others are are are you dealing with life threatening injuries at this point the president in California governor Newsome and other twenty twenty presidential candidates as you can imagine are weighing in on Twitter at this point but right now it is a crime scene in California and they're still sifting through evidence trying to get to the bottom of the stack we what happened and hard count as to who was involved with the investigation is ongoing Hey Jeff thank you so much for providing us an update this morning especially on the fact that we can kind of keep our ears opened around lunch time today to to find out a bit more about what happened at the Gilroy garlic festival in California eight thank you so much for joining us this morning and I and I hope next time that we get to talk perhaps on some happier topics but thank you thank you for giving us this tough story this morning and and get this updated you're my friend you that night there's just one also met this morning news six.

And you'd be like, I I don't know what he's saying. Oh did was named three wrestlers. And then Mike Kinabalu despite it is like, oh, always talking about all the Japanese wrestler met. No, mike. You're not supposed to tell everybody cave. Hey, brother. So. Understood man speaking, hey, fully wrap of his conversation. Plug a little bit more social media. We're talking about your neck injury. Guys have common injuries had next incident myself. What was the deal with your because I thought. When I first heard of your neck injury. I was thinking it was when you were suicide and there was above looked like an x match. Right, right. No. That that was the X match. You're talking about was it wasn't me. It was me as me. But Frankie was suicide. I was trying to get into that bump he was fine because he was facing forward. Like, we were sitting on the top of the buckles, and the idea was just going to be like a flatliners. So it was going to be a flat backbone, but when he got off my legs were still there. And so my legs held onto the rope solit- longer. So basically, I came straight up and down. But because I was holding on so tight to Frankie Frankie came down, hands and knees. So literally the back of my head hit. But like that hard. Okay. So we're neck injury. Having a WWE, right? Yeah. I had a try out try out. They did a gimmick. This was the the week after sid broke his leg in WW against Scott Steiner and Terry Taylor called me said, okay. We want to do a match with you and another California guy named Mike modest and they were still building to cruise awaits up. And so it was going to be. The story was going to be hey, we're giving the cruiserweight to chance to shine. And at the end, Scott Steiner who's going to come out and waylay us and break, both our legs, not even a minute in a jumped to the top rope. And it's something that I practice like all day that day and hit every time I jumped in my foot slipped, and I was coming down and going backwards. And I thought well if I took my chin, I'm gonna break my neck, so I gotta look back. So I tried to get land on my stomach, and instead it landed on my forehead the minute Atlanta before I lost all the feeling in my left arm. And then like from then on you can see I'm running. It's like I've got a shoestring anger from my shoulder. And so, but I knew I couldn't sit down. I knew I couldn't stop the match up wrestling, another five minutes, and you know, Mike modest is soup. Lexi mean it looks like he's suplexes me on my head. And I actually like everybody backstage. If you watch the match back like I feel like I didn't sell anything because the minute had happened. I stopped thinking of anything except.

"And I just you know, detached myself from it and one on about my life. But I did the same thing the football. I determined that. I wasn't going to be one of these guys it would belts around from camp. The camp the camp the camp and matter of fact, the players went on striking eighty seven and that's when they brought into scams and I had several teams the dolphins. The Cowboys the Broncos several teams called me up and often the contract. And of course, there are no guarantees. I mean, if it's right last two weeks, and you may have two weeks playing time if it lasts six weeks could be six weeks. And so there was no guarantee there, and I it that point in time now determined that. It was time for me to move on to put football in the rear view mirror, and I came back to plummy, and there was a school here in Columbia that trained professional wrestler. So I bought my teen hundred dollars down and off the restaurant school and went on to take. Vic the business was something that came easier. You was at work in progress. It was a working progress for me because the athlete part of it. I think I pretty quick I I've always been blessed. You know, the pretty good athlete and have pretty good athletic ability. But the school I went through was was owned by the fabulous moolah. Lydian allison. And it was it was mainly geared toward girls at the time. I got there she she had some guys that had been for her school. And she would occasionally send them up Vance to work TV matches. You know, they'd go out and put somebody over, and, you know, minute ninety seconds something like that. So those guys know whole lot more than I did they didn't know anything about psychology and selling and things like that. So the athletic picked up thirty quick, but the rest of it was a working progress for me. So then was Awa your first territory when they gave you the trooper gimmick now, actually the first territory I worked, Steve I went to work for I went to work. Over there. Mid south for Jarrett, and in Jerry lawler's air and Randy HALE, and I was just working working. We'll and and then they worked they put a put ahead on me. And and for a few weeks I worked as the dream Weaver. And and then they they put me and Scott Steiner together and put us under hoods, and we were directly machines or white hoods and and white like tight..

"And then you you close off the loops. So it was like you were making he could make all kinds of things with you could make a chain with it. But there's different like decide you can make with the chain. And then like, I never did it. But like you guys remember like what's his name? Scott Steiner big pump. The cool head thing. Yeah. There was people that had like those head things. But those are like they went to like more than one session of summer nights. I don't think that you could you make chainmail right now. Do you still remember, no, I I would need the machine that they use to do it. But I don't think I don't think Scott Steiner went to summer nights. But he was into chainmail. I don't think the big bed booty. Daddy, went to someone is a. Yeah, you're basically wearing like like it's just a bunch of little like metal rings that are like intertwined, and it it prevents things from striking against it's supposed to stop like the tip of a sword from going through. That's what you took away from your camp experience. I didn't take it away. I I wasn't good at it. Because I had like a chain that I made out of it. And then I remember it breaking the head. Did you guys ever go to fund camps? Roy did you ever go to a camp though? Nope. No camps for me. That was really the only summer camp. I ever went to because my grandparents were retired. So they took care of me and my sister, and my cousins would come over. And that was really the only time everyone a summer camp. Sports gambling every. Yeah, I went to one. One summer camp as an intended. But it wasn't as cool as magic or nights. I went to. Actor's playhouse had a summer camp so child. Well, I would that was when I was doing my acting stuff. So it was cool. You don't have to say you don't have to say it in an accent? Were you ever a camp counselor because I was a camp? Now, I was a camp counselor as it came council for a long time. I wasn't a counselor in fifth grade. I was a wore the badge and the the thing across my chest. Was it like you were like a safety personal safety day? Yeah. What you do? What were your responsibilities patrolled for safety walked around the hallway with a thing on looking back? I don't write orange sash what any of these with the badge out part of you were. Yeah. That badge. And it was one of the things that I didn't deserve it. Because I was definitely like a troublemaker. I don't know how I got selected good times. Okay. Now what? Donlevatar aren't you trying to run a homeless guy out of your call to sack? Yeah. You want to tell the people that story still guides. There's a homeless guy who who is living in our community up in parkland, and I'm aware of him. I've seen him. I've given them a loaf of French bread. But I don't have the heart to kind of go to any of the management there and Radha matter feel bad for him. So my strategy is if I tell enough people perhaps someone will go to management and get him kicked up. But now, he's upgraded man. He's got like a little scooter got a basket on it. So now, he just drives around the neighborhood. And I saw him this weekend in half, the loaf of French bread that I gave him a week ago is still there in the basket. But they'll eat it already. This is live with our show with the stugatz on the ticket. Are there any major food chain restaurants that you guys have never been to? I'm sure there are plenty. But like, there's there's the reason this is complicated. Because some chain restaurants are regional like, you know, what a burger is a very popular restaurant, but it's only in certain places. Country. So I don't really think that counts I'm talking about something, that's everywhere. Right Jack in the box is I have a list right now up restaurant business online top five hundred chains. And there are some chains in here. Then terms of like how much money they've made. Yeah. Annual sales annual US sales year-over-year. Okay. Mcdonald's is.

"Up to fifteen thousand. I mean, we get to see a lot of these man's and a lot of these bands have played the ANR bar in Columbus for us or the small room, Pittsburgh forest. Laura cash is a good one. Yeah. There's just all day all three days here. It's pretty good an alliance always packed in the Sunday night headliner. I think was Jack white last year. Right. It was really that. Was that was awesome? New hanging around listening post Malone stage be Sunday night. And then you had Jack white closing state. I remember that because we were watching dropkick Murphys. Yeah. We hustled over to see post Malone. I'm big dropkick Murphys fan. And my brother, and I are standing there we look over. And it's the guitars from drop kick standing there watching post Malone. We're talking against cool as hell. Yeah. And then what one back to to watch Jack way. We're like man this is as good as it gets ready. Get Scott Steiner from a promo west Bunbury twenty nine thousand schedules announced you could see it at seven hundred wwl w dot com. You've been doing this for a while you've been doing this for a long time best acts you have ever seen live and said God, I wish I could get them back. "I mean, the one year we had the killers and fortune the Michelle. Yeah. So we always have the three big headliners and civility you fill in the gaps everywhere else you got four stages to fill two as well. Too. What is the most problematic thing about doing the show here in Cincinnati? Is there some issue? That's like, wow. I wish you could fix this. Or is it go pretty smoothly? It goes pretty smoothly. Everybody's cooperative. It's expensive. The park is not chief police is not cheap. But everybody's good at what they do or vice cooperative. It's no it runs. Very very smoothly. Yeah. Yeah. And and well, and the thing too is like most events Scott Steiner from promo west and talking about Bunbury twenty nineteen is, hey, we're just gonna get bigger and bigger every year, and because of the design of the where you have it you can't you're limited as he said, correct? To sell out the twenty thousand right, right? Lately, you look at rock on the ranger example. You're limited there, but that's a bigger. Yes. Yeah. That's thirty thousand or Coachella saying you've got the whole desert to play. Right. That's I don't know that many people. I've got a big crowd guy. I'm not claustrophobic. But I don't know if hanging out the desert one hundred thousand people I'm going there. I'll tell you what it's like earning Bernie, man. No, I haven't. Yeah. That's definitely look similar to that go now. That's yeah. Yeah. I'm good there. Yeah. Hang out in a big place where pal Davos with the billionaires. I don't want to hang out. Have you ever been to lollapalooza, and I have not been a lollapalooza? That's pretty cool. I was there right after and kind of got a little of the vibe. But nothing like that on the show, though, sounds pretty cool. Same thing Scott Steiner in student. He's the CEO of promo west are there bands. You've been trying to get you go in this brings up the obvious question with blink one eighty two. But it's like man I love to get them to to Bunder this year. We went after Travis Scott, and we had offer.

"But he doesn't want to go back and Meltzer would say based on what he hears w w would be interested in him. But only on a per show deal and not a long-term guaranteed deal because of track record. And then only if people like aren't Anderson approve him coming in. The next week Meltzer would say the situation with sid. Is he wasn't immediately fired. There was some sort of clause in his contract about four hundred thousand dollars per year, guaranteed which may have been an injury clause that the WB felt they had the right to cancel it. He was then offered a new deal which was a nightly deal, which basically had he worked complete schedule. He would've earned in the same four hundred thousand dollar range something along the lines of two thousand twenty five hundred per shot, and maybe more for pay per view, which he turned down feeling like his existing contract should have been canceled at that point. He was fired and threatening legal action back. Do you? Remember this contract situation. Well, the contract clearly did call that we could let him go for calls, and there was a clause in the contract that if he was unable to perform you could actually stop the contract and extend it for the amount of time that the talent is out if you wish and you desire, so the thing was well, let's restructure. He gets paid when he works. Maybe that maybe then he'll wanna come to work. But if he's getting paid, and I it wasn't being paid on a weekly basis. He was still getting paid what he earned. However, he if he didn't make whatever amount of money has contract was for then he would get that lump sum at the end that was a downside guarantee. So when you take that away in you or put in a situation where yeah, we'll pay you when you come to work, but we're not going to guarantee you anything anymore because we don't have the confidence that you're gonna show up to work. That's what that was. And that's why that happened. But no he didn't. Take it. The Vince consider bringing him back or how long was Vince really washing his hands up. Did you think this feel like a break or to this field? Like, a real the end. You know, they they always feel like this is the end then you're surprised six months later when he says what about said. So those of us skeptics that had been around for a long time. We just were waiting for the next what about said. Sido? No, I think that Vince was pretty damn frustrated in Vince had confidence in the crew that we did have that they were going to more than fill that gap. It's sort of interesting because SIDS not done after this. He does make a brief stop and AC w and of course, he had tremendous success in WCW on that second run there where he even becomes world champion. But I think what people most remember him about in WCW's that January two thousand one sin pay per view where it's a four corners match against Jeff Jarrett, and Scott Steiner, and then a fourth mystery opponent, which will be road warrior animal. He's on the second turnbuckle jumps off attempting to kick. So Scott Steiner any awkwardly lands on one foot while kicking with the other which severely fractured the leg landed on me break the damn thing in half stamping, both the tibia and the fibula which. Allegedly may or may not have had one of the bones puncture, the skin. So it's just another level of bad and sid puts all the heat on Johnny Lauren eyeless for doing that saying that he wasn't comfortable doing it. But Johnny said it was already written in. So do it hypothetically you weren't there. What would that sounded like, hey shit? Idea. How about you? Go to the second term buckle. Not asking you. Go the top turnbuckle. Just a second one jump off. It kicks got Snyder the fucking head. You're still got to have vascular vascular isn't so new you will let your back, buddy..

"I mean, it's obviously not too good PR move. But I can't imagine being over there and getting any sort of entertainment any sort of distraction from your day to day life over there. It's got to be a welcome break. Let's talk about December twenty ninth raw here from San Antonio. This show is going to start with reindeer Orton walking out to Mick Foley music, and he announces himself as the new king of hard core, which I thought was actually pretty fun whose idea was it to pair up rainy ordinance. Mick Foley, a say, it's something I would have come to on Mon. But this was good stuff. Amid Foley wanted to work with Randy and mic was as Mick usually did during that time. It was part time. Mccarron idea to do something with Randy. I think we wanted to get to wrestlemainia with it. So it was mix idea wanting to work with Randy. And that's how we did it. So lot of it was Mick working with Brian Goertz and coming up with all these ideas for the whole MC. Randy and Mick Foley being a coward that whole scenario. This is also show where we would see van Damme. Beat Scott Steiner in about six minutes. We would see different clips Sean Michaels on this show, including him beating sit at the Alamo dome at the ninety seven Royal rumble, Anna clip of his win over Hoener summer slam too. So we're really trying to build up the return of Shawn Michaels as the main event Christian and Jericho having some problems over Christian feeling like Jerko sold them out over a woman. The coach would interview Vince McMahon at W W headquarters about the board meeting and Vince would say that the fans want Austin back, but he knew it was best for fans if Austin didn't return, which of course, eventually you can imagine Austin is going to barge in with his pickup truck and say he's waiting for a phone call with a decision on his future. Later. We would see coach interview Linda who is speaking in favor of an Allston return. And eventually Austin does get a call says, he's reinstated. But he's upset because it wasn't on his terms, and he drives off upset. The main event that night as AAA Shen. Shawn Michaels going to a double pin at twenty nine minutes and twenty two seconds because the double pin that means triple h retains the belt and after the referee goes down Bischoff takes over as referee, and he called it straight. But afterwards showing gay flare super kick and punched Bischoff so Bischoff fired him and Allston returns. To the bring and said he's back in on his terms. He rehires Michaels and gives him a title rematch, but doesn't say win. And then announces there's a new sheriff in town. This is right after. Awesome has. Lost wrestlemainia two thousand three and is going to be done with his in ring work, but you guys are still trying to find the right seat on the bus for him. Is that fair to say that's fair to say it's really wanted to utilize the character stone cold if St. was gonna be a Russell anymore, which it was doubtful at this point. He still wanted to capitalize on that character's much as he could whether be general manager or in this case the sheriff and have Steve on television as much as possibly could cause Steve equal ratings. How much fun was awesome. Having with this, and how much easier was he to deal with when he was this sort of Commissioner type character as compared to an in ring wrestler because we've heard he could be fairly temperamental as a wrestler. If he didn't like creative one way or another is he more amenable in this position. Or is it still just a serious him? This was some of the most fun that I had in my tenure than because with Steve you could ride all day for Steve Steve didn't like it. Then he would get it change one way or another Vince, trusted, Steve's gut, Vince, trusted me, I produced a lot of that stuff with Steve..

Steve Steve Mick Foley Vince McMahon Randy Shawn Michaels Allston Austin Sean Michaels Bischoff Mick San Antonio van Damme Scott Steiner Alamo dome Mccarron Orton Jericho Mon Jerko rehires Michaels
