"Later today. Israel's capture of east jerusalem in the six day war of nine hundred sixty seven will be commemorated as usual by the annual jerusalem day flag march on the basis of the last few days. It is difficult to imagine it. Going altogether smoothly. Hundreds of palestinian demonstrators and dozens of israeli police have been injured in several days of disturbances around palestinian protests against threatened evictions. The violence has spread to haifa romolo. I'm the always hypersensitive site of the alexa mosque. In the temple. Mount compound in jerusalem's old city. Joining me with more on this from tel aviv is alison kaplan saw a journalist at haaretz alison first of all to the disturbances. We've seen over the last few days. How significant do they seem. I guess local standards. They seem very significant. We haven't had anything this violent and this large in several years really time will tell if this is going to be a long term problem but right now you know. We're focused on this. The celebration of ramadan coinciding with jerusalem date which is also always very provocative time of year. But i would say that we haven't seen anything on the scale. In in many years. "Is CNN. The most trusted name? Yeah. So that coming from Jake Tapper. For four years pushed a collusion hoax shoved it down your throat even after Mueller came out, was his report and said there was no collusion between Trump in the Russians. He still is. He and his network still tried to push that narrative. You want to talk about lying to you. This man lied to you for four years and there are whole network continues to lie to you and you're stuck with him in airports. Absolutely. I don't know how they still have that contract. Honestly, how does that happen? Because it's international so they can show CNN international. That's true. Now all over the world, I will give Jake Tapper Scintilla of credit on it Pains me to do so It really does. But every now and then he does say something or do something on his show State of the union that Actually brings him back towards the middle. He actually every now and then he does ask the hard question of a Democrat. Sometimes he does actually hold their feet to the fire. But it's so hitting this and it's so infrequent that you really don't catch it all the time. Well, it's because he gets caught like, for example, when they did that whole What was it? They called it? A town hall. But it wasn't a town hall. It was a pile on after the Parkland shooting. Oh, yeah. It was a file on for anybody who supported the second Amendment. They didn't want to hear anything. No positive about gun ownership. Dick Dana Lash was on that show. And he let Scott Israel that Piece of garbage who, basically in my opinion, was responsible for what happened in Parkland because Well, I'm not gonna go into all the details, but they could have had that kid put away or or something to where he would never have done that. Scott is real. Just lambasted her. And then we find out all the stuff all the things that Scott Israel had missed leading up to the shooting. So tapper had to do a make good and have Israel on and then asking the hard questions, But only because you got caught. Yeah, that's true. Like, you know, let's let's give that caveat. Yes, absolutely. Others on this list and the worst media of people of 2020. Now this person I don't understand how they still have the job, and they've actually been promoted from just having a weekend show to being on nightly at 7 P.m. eastern at the beginning of prime time. And that's joy Reid from MSNBC. Oh, yes. Somebody else whose whose name just does not fit her attitude. Absolutely not. This is a person person who also got caught with tweets from years ago. And I'm not for that. You know, honestly, going back like in the news Now is that poor girl who got kicked off the Tennessee cheerleading team because of a tweet or a Snapchat he made when she was 15. Look Wall said stuff We've all done stuff. Um, but Just the hypocrisy of Huh? Saying What? It wasn't a It was about Gay people. I think that she was tweeting about in a very derogatory away and Now she's back tracking it. But the worst thing that they always do When they get caught, His eye was hacked. I was act. I didn't Yes, everything was hacked. Of course, it's not Theeighties or the nineties. Hardly anybody says Hack anymore? No. Hey, whatever, but she She's also the type of person that she only sees issues through the race colored lens. Yes. And that's something we gotta stop doing. It's amazing. They want to talk about Donald Trump all the time. A Zafar is dividing the nation and everything. But why every single one of these anchors concentrate on race. Constant traits on gender concentrates on sexuality. It's like, Don't We've talked about it over and over again, but it's just out of control now. We have to get back to seeing each other as individuals and not looking it race. It's ridiculous. Absolutely now on our favorite cable news network. This.

Yeah, except Sarah's. And she's been described as a champion of originalism, meaning she's like a construction is she's like she doesn't go off interpretation. She goes off the Constitution. These are all apparently supposed to be cons, right? But I mean, I think I don't understand why people are all voice summer freaking out over it. I know that there's a little bit of back and forth on the right as well. And I think honestly, it has to do over like religion, a different different different faiths. "So now actually, there were 39 visits and Get up being proven by countless media outlets who said This is where Scott Israel lied. If you would like to go see that I haven't linked Oppa Dana last dot com Also linked in my Twitter feed yesterday. Welcome back to the show. I am gonna lash at D Lashed on Twitter, Daniel Ashman parlors Well, Dana, last dot com official in election Facebook to 44 Plateau here first, so That audio was from that infamous now infamous CNN Town hall where he and I sparred on stage. And I wrote about all of this. The behind the scenes stuff in my book, Grace cancelled and I knew the moment I met him that he was a snake in the grass, because when I walked up to him first off, his deputies wanted nothing to do with him. His deputies came into the holding room where I was with my husband and some of my colleagues and One of my colleagues and they came into that room and they said we support you and they were very careful with their wording, but and I never published the pictures. I have them, But they said, You know, if you know, we would. We would love to get a photo with you. Well, you know, we don't want to put it out on social media. And I said, Of course, they did not like him, and they were already trying to intimate that to me the moment they got there, and so after I met with them, I walked out into the hallway. I was like, if I'm going to be on stage with the sky, I'm going to be the one that's gonna go up to him, and I'm going to take his temperature. And I went up and I extended my hand and I introduced myself and I told him I was praying for the community and he immediately pulled his hand back. I was with an organization at that time, and he said, Oh, you're you know you're the gun lady, And he said, Yeah, no hard feelings, and I thought that was incredibly weird. And that's when I knew that he was going to try to pin everything on me and I only have minutes to cobble together a kind of strategy for it. On DSO and I and I told my husband and that And this is about the time that Marco Rubio was folding on stage and my husband was like it just got that much more severe Frio. And you need to realize this which I did. And I told him I said, Well, ah, this guy's going toe. He's going to come off my neck. On stage. This guy's going to come at me on stage and he's going to blame me. Just so you know, and I I am incredibly thorough whenever I do anything, and I immediately was trying to figure out everyone who was going to be at this event because that town hall remember, I was told on a Tuesday I was going that town Hall was held on a Wednesday. I found out on the flight down there that afternoon that I would be asked questions, but I didn't know I was going to be on stage for that amount of time until I arrived. Luckily, though, I was able to figure out who possibly on my own without any assistance was going to be there, and I did a ton of research as much as they could in the time that I had on everyone who was going to be there, including Scott Israel. So I already knew this about him in his office when I walked up on that stage, and he didn't think I did, and I was the first person and for a while, the only person that held him accountable. And he was trying to blame me. I mean, he literally blamed me on stage. Hey, said your egos you, didn't He? He told me I wasn't standing up for those kids and that he told me quote you're not standing up for them until you say I want less weapons in quote. I wasn't sheriff. I did not know that Scott Israel even existed until the massacre took place. I did not even know that that school existed until that massacre took place. And as he was praising himself for his horrible response he was trying to somehow blame me while simultaneously saying that I was not the litmus test for how his police department should have responded. You know what? Actually, I would have done a better job. Then Scott. Israel is sheriff, and he did such a horrible job. It's why he lost his primary fight last night. To Gregory Tony. Our county's first black share of Gregory Tony, who actually has training in responding to mass casualty incidents like what we saw with the massacre at Parkland and then the airport that Scott Israel also bungled Gregory Tony, who keeps his deputies up with training, I could sit here and go on and on with all of this Keep in mind that during the hearing phase, the Marjory Stoneman Duckman, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Commission, the safety commission that was established in the wake of the aftermath of this tragedy, and everyone, all the deputies who came forward and we're talking to the commission. They were saying they could not remember the last time that they had training under Scott, Israel. He did not keep. He didn't even keep his own training up. Hey, did not keep up the training for his deputies. They had no experience up to date experience with responding to what happened at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, and it's why the Coral Police Department blasted Scott Israel. He was too busy looking for the lights of the cameras when they still had police tape up and medical examiner's going in is the bodies were on the floor. He was looking for the cameras. And he was blasted by Coral Springs police for this and that why I get so angry over this knot and the fact that Scott Israel blame me. He's my example of a bad cop. So I know that bad cops exists because I've gone toe to toe with him. People like Cardosa, Vedo people like Scott, Israel. You're damn right. Bad cops exist and nobody dislikes a bad cop more than a good cop, Which is why all of the deputies down there in Florida every single one of them over 86% of them. And Scott. Israel's Union had a vote of no confidence in that man, and they actually pushed against him because they knew that he made people less safe in their community. It's why they fought for for law enforcement. Leaders who actually had training and would keep up training and understood the leadership and the responsibility of protecting and serving and so the thing that makes me the angriest about this is that this? Scott Israel's policies and hiss If you want to call that one guy that Scott Peterson that coward who stood outside instead of going in, Scott Peterson didn't go in because Scott Israel didn't require it with this policy, Remember, they changed it to may intervene. May he had he was trying to cover his butt. That policy, and that horrible example of a school resource officer is used. As an argument against having resource officers in schools to this day. That is why I get so mad about it because people say Well, Dana, what do you care what happens in Broward? We're number one. I was the mom who was brought in from Dallas and blamed For Scott, Israel's incompetency, So that's why I care number two because I'm a mother and I have kids. I have kids who are in school and this horrible example of what Scott Israel did, and that coward that he had who he didn't require, didn't keep up training and had no idea how to respond to this incident. That example is used as a way to keep Kids defenseless. By anti gun advocates who say that well, if you have arms school resource officers, that's dangerous. And look, they don't do anything. Look at Parkland. That argument has come up in my own community where my kids go to school. So you're damn right it has to do with me. It has to do with every single parent out there. It has to do with every grand parent out there every and every uncle, every friend..

"Connectedness is driven by our relations with other people. Well, that man should get a Nobel Prize for science. I mean, my gosh. Do you come up with that all by himself? All by himself. Did he figure that one out? No, no, no. That's not the top off the intellectual ladder for representative buyer over there in Virginia. No, no, no, no, no, no. No. And in America, where more people live alone than at any time in our history for people is a percentage live alone at any time in our history. It's our mail that connects us. No, it's not. It's our mail that gets us junk mail and flyers to local pizzeria that we're never gonna order from. That's what our mail connects us to it. I argue that more people are connected via their Web cam to the chick on pornhub that are connected via their mail. Oh, my Lord Tony Cats, Tony Cats Today 833 got Tony 8334688669. This is silly. This is embarrassing. Anyone who can't go and vote because they're afraid of Corona virus is a fool. Now let me give the caveat. There's some people who can actually get out and vote. I got no problem. Those people doing absentee voting. I favor absentee voting. I don't favor Universal mail in voting. And I certainly don't favor scaring people into thinking Corona virus. Evil bug. You can't now go out and vote. That's just wrong. It's simply untrue and fear monger people. To scare people into this idea that they can't That's disgusting. That's That's exactly what I expect from today's Democratic Party. How awful is that? I'm not even surprised. I'm not surprised at the levels to which the lies happen Now, if you want to argue to me that you think that's the level to which lives happen on the Republican side, you're more than welcome to argue it. But I need you to bring receipts to it. Will we find hypocrisy? Across the aisle, no matter which way you're looking shore. Of course you will. You may want to root that out. But how can anybody actually take a look at the mail system right now? And take a look at this idea of voting and say, Well, it sze wrong to think people should go to the polling place. That's the discussion. Bad hands. Now It's not all madness out there. Some things were happening right. And one of those things was the primary in Florida, where Sheriff Gregory Tony defeated Sheriff Scott Israel and I could not be more thrilled. You know the name Scott Israel. The guy who thinks he brings amazing leadership. To the Broward County Sheriff's Office. This was the sheriff's office that was called when the attack took place in Parkland at Marjory Stoneman Douglas and it was his sheriff's That certainly never followed through on any of the things they may have known about the shooter. But his sheriffs who hid and did not go into the school. It was Sheriff Scott Israel, who said that he provided amazing leadership to Jake Tapper. That's what he said. My department provided amazing leadership. He was removed from office. By Governor Ron de Santis, and then Sheriff. Israel had the audacity to think that he could run again. And by the way, he only won by 2% points was 37 35. Which means the people of Broward County We're willing to take him back. Now, here is the interesting question. I'd like to hear those people who want to talk about systemic racism chime in. Sheriff Gregory Tony is black. Scott. Israel is white. Is that why the race was so close? Is this what we think of Broward County? It's a matter they didn't want a black sheriff. Now, I don't actually believe that to be true, but I don't have any data on Broward County at all. And what the positives and negatives were on Gregory Tony. But someone could think that you know what? Sheriff? Israel didn't do that bad of a job. That's stunning to me. That is stunning and frightening and radical. To me. But I'm glad he's out. It's one of the good things that has taken place. Was not everything you know, and the level of insanity in which we live the anger with which we live, which is Remind me I need to get into a whole conversation about education. Because man people are sending me things left and right. You mind if I can do that now? Allow it. Thank you. I have been having people send me The things that their kids were getting in school, the homework assignments. It's the social justice everywhere. And when I bring this up I bring it up in the context of Reimagining. Very often. You hear politicos say we need to re imagine policing. Well, every time I hear the word reimagining, I get a little queasy together woozy. Cause I believe reimagining is just code for wealth redistribution, moving the money out of policing and putting it somewhere else. If you want to take money out of policing and put it into mental health, you're more than welcome to I can't decide what you do. And as I've said from the beginning, don't even over the work. What if it does? Give it a try. We want to talk about the militarization of police. I have discussed this numerous times on my shows. That what we want is the non adversarial relationship. Between police and the neighborhoods that they ah care of. Right? That's what we want. We don't want the adversarial relationship, but this reimagining term doesn't doesn't strike me well. Well, I have been watching and taking a look at these homework assignments, thes homework assignments with seeing schools getting more and more into social justice. It's pretty ugly stuff. And one of the things that we're seeing is that there are middle school students eighth graders getting assignments about how does my race influence who I am? Power, my experiences similar and different from those of people from other racial backgrounds. I think that one's a fine question. The first one's a weird one. Right, because it seems like kids would want to write to the woke anus of it. And not know how to answer that certainly needs grade. Secondly and again, an eighth grader who could answer that question is only woke is not, you know, aware How are my experiences Similar differently that you talk to people about? I think that's a fine conversation. What kinds of bias and privileges to individuals and groups experience because of their race. That's a weird question. It seems like a question that's begging a specific answer. What if the answer is well? I noticed that black people can get into Yale. Asians can't because yells bigoted. That an acceptable answer. What kinds of bias and privilege to individuals and groups experience because of their race. Well, now we know Yale has shown us the way What can we do to address racial prejudice and to advocate for racial justice? Well, nothing cause racial justice isn't riel. Anything. Justice, Environmental justice, Social justice That's all code for wealth redistribution. This is a homework assignment or or something that went to students. Essential questions. As part of AH school district here in Indiana. I'm getting more and more stuff sent to me all the time. I read that I've been going over education for awhile in my head. I've been asking myself, maybe what we need to do to steal a phrase. Is re imagined Education. Now I think a lot of this is happening. As you see more and more parents. They screw it. I'm home schooling. Teachers don't think they have to go back to school..

S. what role they they go by called the promise program they've changed the name now that says we're exposure record and it's not only legal to do it it was promoted by Obama his administration and his department of education it systemically the thing is broken because they want the numbers to look better they want to say what we have no problems in our school nobody's out committed any crime who's going or high school when the reality is they can commit for per year and have expunged every year so I think you make a good point I think but I I what happened in the past year about what like why can't we do something in the future they have a criminal penalty for people not reporting this type of puts it in place I guess is the question the school board is keeping this idiot Runcie you who is the problem Scott Israel will probably be the the sheriff of Broward county again come the next election that's how backward it is recommended that committee wants that. then they're going to get it but I I advise any parent listening right now is South Florida were heard there six days a week get your kids out of the public school system because the public school system is not taking the safety seriously then that's a fact I've written the president I read my two senators my congressman I still think that we needed their federal or state law to incarcerate people I mean if we're gonna throw that being from Michigan State University in the jail for not reporting.
