"Wanna houston helping them win two championships which is why rudy t shouted out like the dude is just one of the best post-season clutch shooters of the of the modern era and is not enough to be a hall of famer chris. I don't know maybe it's a stretch. But i don't think it's ridiculous to talk about him. He's a stretch for he's stretch for so it's appropriate for like fear point one of the greatest playoff shotmakers. We've ever seen ice in his veins like lived for those moments. Wanted the kickout pass from colby or manu ginobili like wanted. The ball in those situations and there are a lot of players better than him in terms of pure talent. That didn't operate like that. That didn't have that type of mindset. That's why whenever there was a contending team they wanted robert ory to be part of it why it was on so many contenders because he wanted a player with that type of mindset in the playoffs but like three times in his career did he averaged double figures. He shot career-wise thirty five percent from three. Which is okay i guess. And he shot forty two percent from the field which is not good so like the numbers just are not there and at some point it has to come back to the numbers. I mean his fourth season. The nba was the last season. He averaged double figures. That was it after that he did. Other things like defensively. I give them credit for made those big shots but he wasn't averaging double figures now. If robert ory was like this four time all star who didn't have a ton of great statistics. I might consider the playoff performances. Then would i think buoy him into the hall of fame. But he wasn't that guy. During regular seasons he was pedestrian factor on play-off teams but during those regular seasons just didn't do enough. I create a special award for him in the hall of fame like best playoff performer. Like every year. You put someone like that in. I just think it waters down the hall of fame. You put robert oriented notice respect robert. You've had you've had a career that most players with better number score in the hall of fame probably envy. They'd probably want to be. They give you their hall of fame bust in order to have the career that you had but the hall of fame is for players that did more in the two over the totality of their career. I i can't just look my own definition for as such as it is for. How define who's a hall of famer if you're questioning and when we talked about this with regard chris webber a few months back and he's going to go in later this year for the second hole the two thousand twenty one class. This was the twenty twenty class. We just saw go in so whoever's gonna make it. In one of the cases. I made on his behalf had to find his case was. You can't tell the story of the late nineties early. Two thousands of you know ten year span..

"Still thought they had a chance to go because statistically they did mathematically they did so teams. Were still mostly trying up until you know almost the very end. And that's a huge win for the nba as an anti taking measure and then on top of that and there's better basketball's results and on top of that now we're going to get the games and the games are going to be really cool. It's going to be like march madness. If you love march madness so great that everything is or go home. That is affectively what we'll have for three or four straight days. It's over forty right before the playoffs. So that's going to be a blast and as an added bonus. We get staffers lebron. I couldn't agree more. The plane has been an unqualified success and the nba should make it a permanent part of its schedule. There will always be howard teams from teams in the six seven range. Players coaches whatever that are griping about the plan. We saw this year when luka doncic whose team was in that range griped about lebron griped about it and that's certainly raises it to another level when the face of your league has issue with all the things you said are true if the nba can make the end of its season relevant. Keep going keep doing it now if you want to tweak it a little bit i'm okay with that. If you wanna just make like eight nine ten involved or eight nine involved more power to do that but keep some capacity make it so ten teams have at least the opportunity to get into the playoffs. I don't wanna hear the arguments about how it waters down the regular season. Sure it does. But it makes the regular season more compelling over the final months and which is more valuable like what's more valuable to the nba to have a quarter of its league playing for pingpong balls or to have twenty seven or twenty eight teams competing for a playoff spot into during.
Washington Wizards stun NBA-best Utah Jazz
"Make no mistake. I didn't see this coming. A wizard's ended their five game losing streak by beating the Utah Jazz won 31 1 22 and a coach Scott Brooks explains. Washington Wizards stun Brooklyn Nets with wild sequence in the final seconds

There's hope fell ill. Louis stole my Matthews left wing. The Westbrook for three. It's there. Oh, my goodness. With 4.3 seconds of the Wizard's Leave 1 47 46. Do you believe this? I saw it. I don't believe it. It was amazing. He can do it every night. He doesn't take nights off. He does. Shoot the ball well every night but did last night. Westbrook

Houston Rockets agree to trade Russell Westbrook to Washington for John Wall and a first-round draft pick
"Wand and poof, There goes John Wall. George Wallace. Terry go. That's right. You know nothing like waiting till the last minute right as the seasons getting ready to start up. Training camp this week. Individual workouts, followed by team workouts and now John Wall heading to the Houston Rockets. Couple weeks ago, We heard the rumor that the two sides had talked and both players look. Both players wanted out to Houston. Russell Westbrook wanted out and John Wall reportedly had wanted to trade as well. And now that his deal is done wall for Russell Westbrook Wizards also giving up a lottery protected first round pick. For next year. So the end look. Russell Westbrook, former league MVP, reunited with Scott Brooks. We played for seven years of the Oklahoma City thunder, Not a bad pick up, not a bad pick up at all. Now we'll get to see him with And you know what a determined Maybe Russell Westbrook, who was motivated to get out of Houston. Now he gets a chance to play with Bradley Beal, who, by the way could be a free agent next year. So now hopefully he doesn't want to test the free agent waters. "But it's not making them happy either even with the benefits that go along right now in in the kobe situation so that we encourage people not to work. While they're ill it's still people would rather work. So those are some of the biggest challenges right now thinking through those those areas and then if i add one more challenge to that and it's it's related to as we move into the fall season the opportunity for other similar illnesses to have an impact like influenza and other respiratory viruses. That might confuse the situation. Because we don't have Let's say a protocol for influenza about the number of days that somebody has to be removed in the workplace in quarantine. We basically have until you know. They're they're no longer ill as a guideline but it's it's going to generate some potential confusion now on the plus side. We were just talking to our medical advisers about this yesterday. We feel like because of all the travel restrictions really. They're still in place of globally and all the preventive measures with face coverings handwashing and distancing that. We actually might have a little better flu season or less severe flu season. That might help us a little bit. I've crossing my fingers that that's the case but that will be some of the challenges. It will deal with some of these other things that are similar to cove. Ed that might cause team members to very conservatively be removed from workplace to two in indian just public health but it might have a significant operational impact. I think you're right about the upcoming influenza season countries like australia new zealand. Who went through their seasonal flu already did report lower numbers based on restrictions for cova. So we'll keep our fingers crossed that This fall and winter. We see the same thing has putting all of these plans in place. related to covid Kasha you think more critically about your emergency management procedures in general. Yes i think it has so. There's a couple of things here. That i think i can answer that question with a couple of points but first off. It's it's caused us to increase the staffing in our occupational health and safety team. So that's a little bit of a corollary at your question. Perhaps but it's You know the occupational health and safety manipulated the front line. So we're adding by the way. Tyson is adding close to two hundred occupational health specialists mostly nurses and some administrative types at our plants across the country to really help beef up. The care of our team members Some of them are initially gonna be dedicated to covid care but certainly over over time. This'll be broadly in their care. And it's kind of a part of a we care program et tyson and we're doing a number of things that were piloting With we've said we've released some of his information publicly about a pilot. We're doing a number of our facilities. Were putting we're bringing healthcare to our team members more advanced kind of healthcare support services. So i think that is going to help broadly. In other situations inevitably there will be other pandemics or other. Pandemic scares things like sars original in mirrors and ebola and other kinds of of outbreaks of depths influenza and that's of course particularly of interest. Ask as many of these come near the influence as will be potentially an animal source where that swine or poultry or something like that..
Bradley Beal plays like an all-star in Wizards' win. Too bad he was snubbed.
"Bradley Beal play like an all star even though he wasn't named one he just missed a triple double scoring a game high thirty four points along with nine assists and nine rebounds as the wizards with the Hornets one twenty one one oh seven fourteen of his points came from the foul line fifty one attends that was last three games when he couldn't get a call most of the season so why the change for coach Scott Brooks Jeez attack in in these getting contact and he's the same guys out of position so he's going through it and he's getting some of those calls pretty surprise you get those calls not even all star those guys indeed it was bill was an all star the last two years instead nine players will be making their debuts when the game is played in Chicago in

"And I as promised are going to do a brief retrospective on the teams that have less far been eliminated from the playoffs. And so less jump in no words today. This is totally didn't format. So wizards. Sit them. First Ernie Grunfeld, a fired the status of Scott Brooks known. There are many questions about the health status of John wall. There have been some people even speculating that this is going to be a career ending injury. Also heard others say that if he comes back this type of injury makes it quite unlikely that he's going to be able to play at the level. He before of course, he is more of an athlete than a skill basketball player, not the city. He's an unskilled Basco player, but he certainly is one of those types of players that relied heavily on his athleticism. Memphis, kill physicality, not a great shooter. So you that contract is a concern in an obstacle. Greg. So first of all before he kind of get going, otherwise your thoughts on whether or not Scott it's going to get hired. I mean, I don't see how it doesn't. But we thought about that same thing at previous seasons as well. So the the thing that's really difficult is is we've talked about this before sometimes from coach standpoint, you need a guy gets you from a to be. And then you do the guy to get you to the next level in so's almost seems like a BJ Bickerstaff has always been a guy who's bring it to just get us through the kind of crappy here is where we're rebuilding retooling roster in. We're kind of like waiting out some contracts that aren't very optimal and things like that. And then once we get to decent players, and then you get. Points right direction. Then you bring the right coaches for like the way Milwaukee brought but in last year wasn't the same path. Of course, they didn't have stopgap coaches. They hit guys that they thought were gonna gonna really coach the team. But for me, if you fire Scott Brooks right now. You really don't have much on this team that would be appealing in terms of bringing in a, you know, an elite coach other than Bradley Beal, you know, this the roster's kind of a mess. You know, they've been hard capped for a while. You know, I think there's not gonna be any immediate answers or very few immediate answers trying to get this roster in better shape for next season. So the decision if I'm sitting in the front office picking this decision medicine comes down to do I need someone other than Scott Brooks to at least get us through the next season or two as kind of navigate getting this roster put back together, it was Scott Brooks can do that. And and we can have a healthy environment for players to play in a healthy environment for young players to grow develop. The we don't see the need to make the change at this time. But you know, my prerogative is s- coverage has been. A while and healthier environment may be had by making its coaching change. Even if you're not able to attract an elite coach right now, at least you could get a strong player development, kind of a good culture type coach in this direction that I think I would want to go. The last point to me is the biggest part of it. If if they bring in GM, the wants to do a complete reset on the culture of the organization in needs that certain type of coach in Brooklyn did this with acquirer kidney could he have consent? He wasn't the most qualified coach I've probably have able to them this. They were coaches I head coaching experience on a lot of success in previous head coaching experience. But they decided to say themselves weren't to bring in a guy that we know can we believe can bring a strong culture while we kinda wait for our draft picks available to us and cetera in establish that culture from day one. Now, keep in mind Scott Brooks as two more years on his contract them. Calling regard.

"Changes that rejoin and sounded a little bit sensual nature from STAN Van Gundy is replacing what used to be there, which is the famous STAN Van Gundy, quote from ten years ago around here, we've been doing show for a long time, we misrepresented him badly one time by editing together. What sounded like STAN Van Gundy? Very sternly calling Scott Brooks an idiot. Stan Van Gundy was fine with that back. When Scott Brooks wasn't an idiot. But now, the Washington Wizards wanna trade everybody, and STAN Van Gundy doesn't want his name attached anymore to Scott Brooks is an idiot. Do I have everything there? Right. Santa by misrepresenting, anything you're being the sensitive coach. It was. Okay. When Scott Brooks was winning. But it's not okay anymore. We've been playing this sound for ten years. Ten damn years. Scott Brooks in idiots. Great. It's great sound. I don't know if he ever confronted you about it. He should have because we played the hell out of Scott Brooks is an idiot. And then you demanded that we took it down as soon as he went sub five hundred Scott Brooks an idiot. First of all, I didn't command. I just said it's not I didn't like it. It's not as funny. You know? I mean when when Scott Brooks is winning sixty five percent of his games. It's clearly a joke. And when the when the wizards are struggling, you know, if it's people who haven't listened for a long time. How about we handle the funny? How about we handle the funny? You take care of just making flammable statements might take the coaches, we'll handle the five. Here's the point. I didn't make that statement ever. That's not true. Listen, I don't know what's happening here. But this guy clearly propaganda king liar. There is no disputing. You. Didn't say this Scott Brooks an idiot is. That. Say that you absolutely put that together. I did not put it together thing. That's the only thing on my side in that that people will believe it is. They know how crazy you guys are. So you know, they will then we should be allowed to buying it. Because honestly, there is nothing that proves to me that the wizards are idiot proof in leadership nothing. They're not allowed to have anything. I don't know about that. But Scott's not an idiot. Scott's damn good coat. Oh, there's. Place a sound bite for that history. That out. I mean, the guy is as great winning percentage, you know. So that when you're going to have a hard time art Knicks open, we'll close with Scott Brooks is a really good coach. And that's the kind of radio we need around here. Let's pivot from STAN Van Gundy. Coach protectors and Van Gundy into other matters because it has been really funny this morning to read the information coming out of Cleveland Browns camp that includes porn a federally indicted owner who escaped the federally indicted chargers behaving in a way that I imagine Jerry Jones behaves in the shadows. But you never hear me just referred to one of his employees as Obama Jimmy has them would apparently have these meetings with team brass and he's eating a hardboiled egg the entire time leaving shell casings on the floor. It's one of the more appalling and rich people things I've ever seen. Sham reported this story. We gotta get it in front of STAN. And we gotta get it in front of Stu gods. Because this is the story that people are going to be talking about today like the Browns. I mean, they were even more of a mess than you think they were. It's a juicy headline like all of it. He description of the article how long has it though. Well, that's the problem out here. Four minutes before the show started blame Lorenzo for something as Danny how much time was in your segment, which is always a minute. And didn't read anything times. It's fifty sometimes it's a minute twenty. I mean, you never know. That's why ask them. I'm so upset was set the timing of this article, and I knew what sort of position as Baker can pull us through all of this. But as a Browns fan, your concern is is this organization going to drag this unicorn down to so do you think that Hugh Jackson actually told has lem get the bleep out of my office? Of course, I do can you say that to an owner? Stan can you have? I know I know people that have, you know, there's this thing around a lot of coaches where it's..

Moving on from the 'John Wall Practice Altercation', what are the Wizards' options now?
"Broke a few hours before a number of reports on recent yelling matches during wizards practices hit the Twitter machine. I'm sure you guys saw this. Just to quickly touch on some of it. Bill reportedly blamed general manager, Ernie Grunfeld for this entire mess. It's been here seven years, and he's seen this for seven years. I think you have to trade John wall. I thought coming into the season we talked about Dwight Howard is that a good signing. I thought well, you know, what as far as the locker room goes can't get any worse will it has gotten worse, and you have to cut it off. Now. Now, you have to train them to any cost at any. Do you think? All right. So who wants Dan Van Gundy beat up who give me the guy in the NBA that that we believe that standing Gundy could take a fight? Then if we're saying, then we'll don't don't limit it to the NBA just anywhere. I mean is there anybody walking the planet basically that I could that I could handle I'm not so sure I could Terry Stotts. I mean, come on. Now, he's got reach all come on Terry stat. You would go by what's left of his hair down the courts and an active code vocals. He's vogel. Is it does the same job in the NBA? "And I felt that the chances them the athletics and then the is probably not very high. I'm not. I'm not gonna say he can't do the young age, but I'm saying, you know what? If they do great, I'm gonna in courage it. I'm going to empower them and making sure that they had the best chances to succeed. But I definitely want them to have the desire be educated net. Something I grew up. We didn't know about all the things that you can do with your brain with your mind, all -education all the the great things that that gives you in. But I, that's what my wife and I decided that you know, my son. Does USC my daughter's a senior in high school, and then she has a great opportunity. She's probably the smartest one of all of us, but I'm proud of that. And I think that's what I'm challenging them to be do great things off of athlete field and you guys may on they're doing on proud of. Yeah. Yeah, I'd like to point out that you obviously sold out your wife's athletic jeans because you're great athlete and saying your kids would not be athletes only proves that you like listening. "There's something I heard you talk about which I've tried to. I've tried to share as a broadcaster and I probably and I learned it as a player, but I probably learned it maybe a bit too late. There's a difference in the role of being a starting point guard a backup point guard, and you know the Matthew del of a dove 'as the the Scott Brooks, the Darren collison when was a backup with the clippers. Like to tell me if I'm wrong like you Patrick Beverley. For example, I guys like man, Patrick Bev is like borderline dirt. Like you have to be. You gotta pick up ninety four feet. You have to change the tempo of the game. You got to be able to get out of the way and make an open shot, but also let the other guys play. It's a very, it's it's the same position point guard, but a completely different role. You're not trying to do the same thing. The starters going to do only for short a period of time, and I think it, especially for a guy like you and this is where I think there's a disconnect for fans. People that know you played in the NBA don't realize like dude, you're twenty four game in in college at a legit college drop in twenty four game and to, hey, I'm gonna score six game, but I gotta make every open shot. I got a guard. The other teams point guard who's probably a combo guard and that he averaged twenty five game in college and do it would be better against better competition in a much shorter period of time. Like that's a really hard judgment for players to make. It's one of the reasons that some guys might have more kind of upside and talent, but they can never be the backup point guard in the NBA because they can't change roles even though it's the same position..

"I mean, he's got it all, and so does this slow him down even a notch and progressively more so? And does it expose the fact that his jump shot has never really been a consistent weapon from beyond three point range. I think that would be my fear. Also. If you remember the argument for Paul. George staying in Oklahoma City and the argument that I've made for Oklahoma City being the second best team in the west is look. They're going to be better together the second time around another full training camp. Another year, Russ in PG and others playing together. Frankly, they set themselves up very nicely with Dennis Schroder who get a chance to play major minutes early on. I like cruder as a backup point guard more than a starter. But I, I think it's gonna be fascinating to see if the consistency and continuity minus odyssey Carmelo Anthony. But the addition by subtraction of losing Carmelo, Anthony, and the consistency and continuity keeping the same coach keeping most the same roster adding in Dennis Schroder that ultimately benefits the Oklahoma City thunder now that they don't have Russell Westbrook for for training camp. Kind of interesting, right. We'll keep you updated on that gets ready for the NBA season in the coming weeks. I thought this would wet your appetite though. Let's get to our discussion with Scott Brooks. It's a two parter. And I think you'll. Enjoy it. If you have any questions or comments at Gottlieb show is the Twitter handle. So let's welcome in the head coach of the Washington Wizards, a longtime friend, Scott Brooks. Let's welcome into the all ball podcast. The head coach of the Washington Wizards, Scott Brooks joins us and sky. Look, I want to get to the wiz. I wanna get your time with the thunder, but I, I want to start with you as a person and you as a player because when I first got a chance to watch you as when you're at UC Irvine, average twenty three twenty four game planet Crawford hall. And I think, yeah, I think you played a year two of the brand. So I think he played all the Brennan center may maybe. Brin center, and there's a lot I want to get into, but you grew up in like the Sacramento area, right? Where it's like, where's French camp? Well, it's about, I would say it's about sixty miles south of San Francisco. I was born in French. Can't move to the young age about maybe five or six miles south to a small town lay throat. Youngest of seven. My father left when I was to never did see from him or heard from him. They'll child support, not just in my mom raised us owner own along with governmental aid till about about seven years old. And then she decided, and you know what? No more help from the government. We're going to do it as a family. And that's when I started picking walnuts and topping onions on the weekends just to make ends meet no way. Okay. So you mean the oldest to you being the youngest boy girl, how older brothers, three older sisters? I think my I think my older sister is almost sixty four and I'm so. Fifty three and three brothers and three hundred sisters. Okay, so seven people, single mother and you guys kind of all picked up. Everybody had everybody job. You really did pick walnuts and do what with onions. The sack and you move onto the next. Onion, Rona SeaScape Tree sack, and you didn't get paid for. You didn't get paid a lot of sack, but you got paid enough at the day. We get. We had. We had to do it. We have no other choice. It was. It was tough. I have two kids and you know, I said all the time. I don't know how my mom did it. I did it. My wife and I, we. Schedules of two kids alone, seven all by herself know God blesses. She was incredible. She was my hero. The better mom and a better role model than I had. So when did you did you always hoop? Because I mean for people who don't, and it's really interesting, you know, like there's there's a, there's a disconnect between sometimes between fans and the reality of basketball, like you're a great athlete, a great score, and it's, you know how you made it in college..

"This week's guest and look. I could get into the ACC in the big east in the big twelve and I'll releasing. Schedules or give you a second on Russell Westbrook's injury and the subsequent surgery, and he's going to be out for the preseason give you some thoughts on that in a moment. But for the most part, we're getting ready for the upcoming NBA and college basketball season. We'll look forward to the college basketball schedule in the coming weeks, but I don't wanna waste our time. We got a great guest is aimed Scott Brooks Scotty, of course, most of you remember was head coach of the Oklahoma City thunder, and is now the head coach of the Washington Wizards. But I having known Scott for well, he start to track yourself like how long have I known him? I'm gonna go about thirty years little bit more than thirty years. I can honestly tell you that he's an incredibly interesting guy. Also a great nude, but super, super interesting. Is life story is one that I'm not sure most of, you know, and I wanted to tell it and then we'll get a little side stories about making the NBA from being a CBA. Player making his wife. I UCF von UC Irvine was super super talented back in the days to go there basketball camps and watch him play at Crawford hall. My dad was insistent at Long Beach state before they lost their job and then watching use year vine play. So I can remember what it was like to watch the engineers and watch Scotty Brooks, but how he made it from there to the NBA playing for over a decade in the NBA to becoming an assistant. Also, he was a head coach in the ABA want to get to with that. Talk about playing with the Sixers with Charles Barkley. What is interactions and ultimately friendship was Charles Barkley was like winning NBA title, what the Houston Rockets becoming an NBA assistant coaching with the SuperSonics and then thunder, and then they PJ gets fired, and he gets the job, and then you know, go into the NBA finals and losing in the NBA finals and having all the injuries in a couple of subsequent years and never getting back to that moment before losing his job, what it was. Like to lose a job to sit out to wait, why the wizards, and how can you fix the wizards, man, there's a lot to get to. So that's kind of the ultimate teaser. Let me first start with this thought because you're going to hear from Scotty on what it's like to coach Russell Westbrook his honest perspective, I think you'll enjoy it. So Russell had his knee cleaned up and remember this is this is a guy who had was a torn meniscus, Patrick Beverley in of like Scotty, Brooks type of way. We're in talk about this. The backup point guard. You have to be just tougher than a two dollar steak. You know, you gotta be willing to put your nose in there. Maybe get a steal. When a guy goes to call a timeout at at midcourt does win. Patrick Beverley mistakenly bumped into Russell Westbrook's knee Russell tour his meniscus. And then of course, the first surgery didn't take that next year was honestly what led to Scotty Brooks dismissal as head coach of the of the Oklahoma City thunder. I think the fear with Russell is it's not that he plays hard in that his knee won't be fine when he comes back. Plenty of guys have had their knee scoped plenty of athletic guys by new scoped, and we're still very, very good athletes. The fear though is that he anytime you go in on somebody's knee, anytime you go in and fix, even an elbow at Tommy John, the more you go in, you run the risk of infection. You run the risk of not being the same and of chronic pain and of a short of career and lessening of athleticism and Russell Westbrook is arguably the best athlete gray of of the great players in all sports. He might be the best overall athlete when you combine speed, quickness, toughness, lateral and vertical athleticism..

"I mean, it was the opposite of what people are talking about with Durant here. He was on a team that was going to win the east indefinitely, but he wanted to be the go-to guy, the guy on a team and so was able to get his way out of there. I mean, you know, all these players want something a little bit different and Kyrie wanted to be the guy Mayweather McGregor who you got. I mean, I I would take Mayweather maybe because I would hope the boxer would win. I'm more of a boxing fan. You have fan, I'm will tell. All right. And finally Mohammed Ali has passed away. Oh, it took a darker. Yeah, that one was I think everyone felt the same. I mean, you know, this guy was one of the true not only a great boxer, but one of the true heroes sports heroes of of generation stood up for what he believed in costume. Some prime years of his career in prime earning power, somebody that will. I think by most people be highly respected for all time, the ball family. Just an incredible sort of phenomenon to me. I mean, you know, lonzo's a good player and they are in the news virtually. All the time every day. As you know, in basketball news, they've got one son who's a really good player. The other two really haven't done anything and a father that people always want to hear what he has to say for some reason because he hasn't done anything in the game. So I really don't get it. But man, I give the guy a lot of credit. I really do. We had one son is a good player and he's gotten all of this out of it and all the publicity. He's a marketing genius, Rick Pitino. I mean, a great basketball coach. Nothing ever got proven in that. He's fighting it, but it seems like in his years in Louisville that you know trouble just seem to always follow him thought you talk about how he's a vampire. He has vampire. We do think he looks a little bit like vampire like somebody on now. I don't think he looks like how about Billy Donovan? Billy Donovan look a little bit like he's no Billy's Billy's a great coach and a great guy. Unlike Scott Brooks, that edit. Come on the corruption scandal with feta. Well, unsurprising quite honestly, there's a lot of money at stake. And anytime there's that much money at stake. There's probably some corruption. So I didn't think it was that surprising. And can you believe JJ watt hasn't had a sack since the last time you were on with us. I don't think that's true. Factually inaccurate, factually accurate. But yes, j. j. watt is at some injuries. I mean, my brother's still a Texan season ticket holder. So you know, he's hoping for a return to health for for what Dwayne Wade has left the Miami Heat. When he went to Boston that what we're talking about when he went to Chicago com when he, yeah, we went to Chicago. I was surprised as anybody. I thought Dwayne would be in Miami his entire career. I thought it was shocking and I'm unsurprised that to moves later. He ended up packing Wayne Wade returns to the Miami Heat was going to be my next question. Not surprised by that at all was actually surprised that didn't happen when he went to Cleveland, you know, but but not surprised at all with the the buyout and back to Miami and glad to see it in a lot of ways, it seems to be where he belongs. Koby is retired. Your thoughts. You know, one of the great players in the game, the farewell tour of Kobe thought was a little bit unfortunate in a couple of ways. Number one, the teen wasn't as good as what he had been on. And so he was it was almost reduced a side show. You know, he wasn't totally healthy and wasn't the Kobe of old. I wish it had gone better because he was a great player and one last thing, the last five years of Carmelo Anthony. You can listen to the Dan lebatardshow with the students then to one eastern on ESPN radio on, you can wash on ESPN news..
