"What's up everybody welcome game. Joining me this week is Tina Amini Stein and Stein Stein like. Stein I like. Which means one Stein? Exactly same flavored is here. Everybody and making his inaugural scoop appearance is Michael Swaine Michael Walker show swain scoop. Yes. So. Damon there's been a couple of you didn't host that you wouldn't know Michael was on those or not? Just put that up. Think there's only two. Really. I didn't host. You had one without me right when she was in Germany. And then Kim knows stole my spotlight one time. Yeah Yep. That's true. Swim. He's been working with us for a while now, but we've been wanting to game on Gamecube. We finally wrangled them. Now that some are gaming has come to an end. He actually has some free time. so Michael Tell us about what's your favorite game of all time? Wow. That's a hotter than you probably meant to solicit. Day. They ask us this. When we joined the company I joined about. Game. When you join game scooping and they put the Bar Code on the back of your neck. They ask you. What's your favorite video game? And at the time I said SCICLUNA. And that's. Still Very Near and dear to my heart, but I gotta say right now at this time in my life. You asked me that Damon. I have to be honest. That's stranding. Game of all time it I've had in the middle of a very spiritual experience with it I'm about one hundred fifty hours of put into that game and wow, I've just. It's opening the up in ways I didn't think I was I was thinking a lot this week? Because there's that hint at the sequel and found that strangely comforting, because first of all I had a great time play. It was absolutely favor game last year. What we laughing at what are we getting? He's making united. Here. We didn't close. Einstein has judging our tastes. He's he's like crying out loud about this. It's more. But even though it has some some weirdest, too. I had a really good time playing and I I. Really Really Look back in that time fondly and I like really WanNa kind of. A comfort game like that again it was. That's what I was calling the right word. It was my animal crossing new horizons. It got me through the quarantine instead of building my little house I was walking around. Little Roads Oh. Yeah, my maps complete every road section that can be built as. Sent, brother Yeah when. Curls up in the air as the craziest road Love, so, what was it before that stranding? I cannot. And we played the second ads. VR Game also very in inventive as Tim Schafer in the People Double Oh. I. In that's interesting, it's a very interesting answer destiny. For my like my personal, whenever I'm trying to come up with my favorite of anything of all time, just like my own little sort of a personal. I limit myself to only things that were released at least five years ago. That way I have some hindsight that I can sort of. You know you're absolutely right. There's recency biases in play for sure and the. Okay, we you. You say Yo exclude things from five years ago. No. It's no. It has to be at least five years old. Probably reflects on your in order for it. For me to consider it one of the best of whatever of all time, yeah, for example I have a playlist that I keep updated of my favorite songs of all time. They're called God tears songs, but I won't allow any song. That's less than five years old on that playlist. Okay I think that makes sense. I think the Oscars actually showed work that way. We'd have some perspective on things at that point. That's a great idea that's your. Of. Tina. Do you notice when we do a game of the year? Stuff that our staffs tends to think about things that just came out especially for music. That's when I really noticed an. Fresh on your mind. Exactly, it's also holiday season right so all these games are out, and it's just like I've never been able to separate that out. At the Santa, then towards the end of the year, we have more time to like finally. Catch up on some game, so it gives people an opportunity to play the stuff early in the year that they had. To not throw. Our whole came on the air system under the bus SAM.

Dozens of migrants die in shipping container on truck in Mozambique

"Well in Mozambique on Tuesday fourteen deeply. Traumatized male migrants were rescued from a sealed shipping container on a lorry bound for South Africa. According to the International Organization for Migration Sixty four other men on the truck died from US. Fixation an interview with you and uses. Daniel Johnson. Iom's Sondra Black explains where the migrants came from and what the agencies doing to raise awareness about the dangers of such journeys lever the tragic news yesterday morning that the bodies of sixty four migrants were found in the back of a truck that had come from Malawi. The survivors reported that they were from Ethiopia and that they're on their way to South Africa in search of better opportunities for their own lives. Iowa most is in close contact with the National Migration Service of Mozambique in order to provide immediate assistance for the survivors. Do you know how they found the truck required to pull over at a checkpoint and police spoke with the driver asked him the contents of the vehicle where Austin to open the back of the truck and very sadly those bodies where found but we were glad. At least there's fourteen survivors. Thank goodness there. Were some survivors. It really does sound horrific. Do you have any more details? About where the migrants came from a- they all men are there any women and children. All of the migrants are men. No minors no. When we realized that these men were travelling from Malawi. And they're coming from Ethiopia with the goal of reaching South Africa. We have seen similar incidents in the past car accidents of migrants who are coming from Horn of Africa who are attempting to travel to South Africa in search of education and economic opportunity of course traveling down through Mozambique Malawi areas. That were really really hit by two massive tropical storms Kennedy. What's the situation for migrants? I mean it's tough enough for many in. Mozambique so are they not aware that conditions are absolutely dire for many in Mozambique on their way through to South Africa. Mozambique is along this southern Africa routes where we see migrants coming from eastern Africa traveling down to South Africa but we still in Mozambique have over one hundred thousand people in resettlement sites. The country is still recovering from SCICLUNA die and cyclone. That happened one year ago. We realized that these migrants are looking for educational and Economic Opportunities. Some of them are fleeing violence so they may feel themselves to be in desperate situations. I'm would've you manage to find out from these migrants not necessarily those rescued from the latest. Laurie tragedy. What does it they tell you? What are they looking for? Exactly the situation that some of these migrants are fleeing is fleeing hardship in their countries fleeing poverty. There may be fleeing islands. They may not have the opportunities that they need in order to find employment to support their families so that they feel that migration is an opportunity to improve their circumstance so they choose to leave their homes many in this region we see them travelling to South Africa. So what's the IOM's daily work if you like? What's your objective? Both in preventing people from risking their lives in really dangerous journeys down from the east of Africa to the south. And how do you maybe get some people home repatriate them? That's one of the International Organisation of Migration Semaine functions to isn't it? I O N Mozambique in cooperation with other missions. The South Africa where involved in information-sharing we want migrants to realize the dangers of these irregular migration journeys. We also have a project. In order to voluntarily return migrants to their home countries. We have returned over several hundred migrants. Who WENT TO SOUTH AFRICA? Who did not find the opportunities that they were looking for and wanted to voluntarily return to their home country so just from from Mozambique. We've returned over three hundred migrants Mozambican migrants in the past few years from South Africa and finally in terms of covert nineteen preparedness. What can you tell us about the state of play in? Mozambique the moment many cases of infection there are a few cases of coveted nineteen in Mozambique. This question is best placed for the World Health Organization but all UN agencies are in support of the government of Mozambique the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization to respond to this

"Of the range of like retrograde station to direct station but what you really focus on is the halfway point between that where it can joins the sun and whatever degree that is so for example. The upcoming one is going to be at thirteen degrees Gemini. That's what you call the Venus Star Point and what you look at specifically in Natal Charts. Is You look at what was the Venus Retrograde prior to your birth and what was that exact degree that the sun Venus conjoined prior to birth? And whatever that is that's your Venus star point and sometimes it will be the last retrograde before birth but other times it wasn't retrograde because remember Venus and the sun conjuncture one another there's an Another conjunction in between the two retrograde that that produces the evening star. So that's what's going direct. And that's the evening star comes out of the direct conjunction and what I found really interesting about this. Besides what I found written in books from you know some of the ancient literature was that If you just visualize it Venus's retrograde when it meets the sun in the interior conjunction and what comes out of that is the Morningstar. So they're both coming towards each other with great anticipation but they meet for just that one moment and then they're gone again you know they're going in different directions. Sun keeps moving this way but Venus eventually it's GONNA turn station income back up but it doesn't reach the exact conjunction with the sun until the sun is all the way around on the other side where Venus then becomes the Kazeem evening star but when Venus then they're both moving in the same direction but they're moving slowly together for a really long time so this is one of those slow love affairs that can just stretch out forever you know. They're only kissing. Maybe on that one day but they're still so close to each other they're tracking each other really or is it the Morningstar conjunction. They're just meeting in the middle of the night doing that. Tang and they're moving on so part of that with the two different conjunctions so there's a conjunction between Venus and the sun when Venus's retrograde and that one is when Venus actually when Venus's retrograde joins the sun it actually passes over the face of the sun or is actually closer to the earth At that point when it's retrograde can joins the sun whereas when Venus's direct and conjointes the Sun Venus is on the other side of the Sun. So it's actually further away the earth and blocked by the Sun at the point bright and the only time you're really gonNA see Venus passing over. The face of the sun is like twenty four and two thousand twelve when we had the actual Venus Transit. In this case they're lined up by longitude but they're not necessarily lined up at the same latitude where you can actually see it moving across So that's those are the special ones. Those are the ones it only happened like once a century so that was what was so important about two thousand twelve down a sexually passed across the face of the Sun Okay Yeah and you know. We won't have the next one until twenty one seventeen okay so just to put it in context for people. The next one where Venus passes across the face of the snap will be in Sagittarius that again twin transit's two of them separated by eight years but And the last one before the twenty twelve and twenty two thousand four one were in the late eighteen hundreds that was also in secretaries so Boca so in terms of This though you would recommend that everybody should Figure out what the conjunction was between the Sun. Venus that took place prior to their burn and what degree that was in the net degree becomes a special degree or a sensitive degree for you in your chart right. It does. And I'll say this for the evening star people even though we're evening star. I think all of us inherited evening stars right. You know I still think because the start of the Venus cycle is at the morning star and begins at five hundred and eighty four day cycle. I think it's still important for the people like us. That are the evening star to not only look at our own star. Point hurt the one prior to our birth. But where did that cycle began? Where did the five hundred eighty four day? Scientific SCICLUNA began. So where was the last retrograde? Actually also And I think those two points in the chart or are pretty sensitive and interesting and I think it's the same thing for the morning star. People they may have had the retrograde before their birth and so they know that. But what are they coming to in terms of like the full moon Venus you know. What's the evening star for them? Going to be. And what's that relationship about and I kind of started putting both those points in the person's chart to see? Okay how are they working with Like where are they coming from? Where are they going to like almost like an evolutionary flow Yeah okay so in terms of the upcoming one. The upcoming one as we've said is GONNA be at thirteen degrees of Gemini and then they'll be one after that that's at eighteen capra corn. Like what a couple of years later and then it'll jump in January of twenty two okay. January twenty two so jumps every year and a half or a couple of years between that there will be an areas evening star kind of in March of twenty one Okay so What happens that's interesting? That you pointed out. Is that these degrees. It only moves by a degree or two every time. It comes back eight years right okay. So that's really important because that means it stays in these signs for really long extended periods of time stays in a sign for one hundred years but it might stay on your planet for eight years to twelve years 'cause it's so slow moving right so you were talking yesterday. One point about if it does do that in your birth chart like over a significant placement or a personal planet that that can be significant with regard to like what you're doing during those eight years. Yeah and I would say. It's it really lights up that part of your chart your life that planetary archetype going back to archetypes again. You know if it's your mercury a lot of times. I've seen words going over the person's mercury and they're doing all. They're getting all their degrees. They're post graduate degrees and really The bulk of their studies or happening then. Or when they actually figure out what they really want to do. and I've seen it go over the moon for people where I think when Julia Roberts for instance headed Passover her moon. She gave birth to her twins. Then interesting yeah okay Yes a pay attention to that as a sensitive degree and then sometimes that what you were saying earlier is that it can connect together people if you meet somebody that has the same prenatal. Venus star point sign more degrees if you're born for years apart from one another or eight years apart from one another. You're most likely going to have the same star point because it returns to the same sign every four years it returns to the same sign and phase every eight years. Okay so Venus goes retrograde in the same sign in roughly the same degrees every eight years but then in between that eight year cycle like in four years after the first one it will do the same thing through the same sign. But it'll be direct. Yeah but it also be very in very close proximity to that degree. That same degree okay. So yes Venus's just activating because this is so such a tight cycle. It's activating the same degrees in relatively Regular Succession of eight and four years So That's interesting because usually we think about Venus in the inner planets is being such quick transit's that are just really brief for especially Venus's directing moving average moving fast. It's just something over a degree in a day or two and then that's it so as transit. Studying astrologers as the timing technique were not used to paying too much attention to mercury and Venus because they move so fast and their transits are so brief. But this really shows us that. There's much longer-term cycles that are involved in Venus that can activate parts of the chart for much longer periods of time than you would think yes exactly and this really gives the like. I was saying earlier about mythic astrology. How you're actually fleshing out characters rather than just key words. This gives Venus a much fuller richer presence in our life in operating behind the planets as a backdrop with the star clock. But just for instance I wanted to do. The last few degrees of the Venus Kazimi the last few years so in twenty. Let's go back to two thousand four when when they made their conjuncture their first transit. That was at Seventeen Gemini fifty four minutes retrograde for years later in two thousand eight it was eighteen. Gemin- I forty two minutes direct then four years later in two thousand twelve. It was fifteen forty five in two thousand sixteen. It was sixteen Gemini Thirty Five and now here in twenty twenty will be thirteen Gemini. Thirty five and four years from now and twenty twenty four will be fourteen Gemini Twenty Nine so that fourteen twenty nine Gemini I in twenty four compared to the fifteen degree Gemini and twenty twelve. That's a whole twelve year period. That if you have something fourteen or fifteen degrees really any sign but especially immutable laws and especially Gemini are sad. That's like a twelve year period of really hot Venus Action Vinastar action on your planet. I have Venus that had fifteen fifteen Sagittarius. No I'd action Yes so But that's also short not far after the sign of my mid heaven at five Saj so it's a placid of Sir quadrant ten thousand so things involving career as well as groups organizing starting the Denver Astrology Group under one of those in two thousand eight and restarting the astrology. Podcast in two thousand twelve under another one of those As it keeps going over those degrees and I was just mentioning to Lisa yesterday but the studio has done a year earlier. Having if you to wait until twenty twenty to move here You would have been right in sync with at cycle again. That's true well we'll see what happens this year. We got the Venus retrograde coming up later this spring slash summer so that should be interesting and should be important and We'll see what happens Do you have any other instances of used an analogy? That I thought was really interesting when you were talking about. It wasn't necessarily closely tied in with the astrology. But those instances where Venus those instances where sometimes like the partner can eclipse the. Let's say more prominent partner where you were talking about? So for example there was Prince Charles but then when he got married to Diana like most of the attention was Diana or more recently. When you all right yeah sure was so eclipsed by her sure or or more recently with Meghan markle and Prince Harry It was funny in the media that I remember reading a story and they referred to Harry as like Meghan markle's husband or something like that instead of like the Ryan Royal. And she has the new edition to the family but your research making an analogy between that and Venus where sometimes those conjunctions with Venus especially when it's retrograde are those rare times when Venus suddenly gets an in the spotlight because it is closer to us and it is in the way of fully viewing the sun and as it passes over especially during this close conjunctions. The face of the sun in some ways takes greater prominence in some ways I think we were talking about the idea that there's combust a planet moving within ten degrees of the sun being Kambas. You don't really see it at all you can't see it. So what's its effect? Is it strong as it. You know the sun's rays burning it out and then there's Kazimi which is right up. Close you know. And in this case Charles. Brought Diana right up close to him you know. Nobody was paying attention to anyone in the court or anyone around Charles before that it was Charles Right And then here comes Diana and now suddenly she's the Venus and she's eclipsing the sun and the same..
