Hopefully to teach people to be a little safer when you walk to your car lead not to make you paranoid, but when you walk your car, a cop once told me and we've probably shouldn't necessarily think cups to the best, but a cop once told me he's like just. If you're walking your car at night, do not be on your phone. Not Be on your phone. Keep your phone close to you and to call an emergency contact. He's like. Do not be on your phone. And if there's any way you can cover your hair, cover your hair. Because then they won't be able to easily nece necessarily. See that you're a woman because they target women. So that's what anytime I walk night I wear a Hoodie. And I also read that. If you're walking to your car at night, turn your flashlight on your phone and look under your car at least like six or seven feet away from cars. Yes, see if anyone is under your car, so they don't fuck and cut your Achilles and I also think that for broad daylight, too depending on where you are learning like I, think you should look under your car. "So why not give the show a try and let me give you the T- you need to know. Okay, we're back. I am so fucking glad because I want your opinion. Can we talk about this or do we want to talk about? Christa Leah I mean. Here's what I honestly think. Knowing Chris not well, but like no, he's like a CO worker I could say right like we're both regulars at the comedy store. I see him like when comedy was going on I saw him every single week. I've seen him every single week. Almost every single week of my life since I started doing comedy. I know as a person not as a person, but like as a human right, and he's always extremely nice to me and just because he's nice to me, doesn't mean he's nice to everybody else. I've always known him as like a guy who fucks a lot of chick always like he's. He's forever and he's always got another chicken an another check in another check. At the comedy store. You've never seen anything like it like there are lines of women for him. They're obsessed. They've always been obsessed. We the comics we sit in the back hall and we're like Bro like this is crazy like the amount of people who line up for him. This is a guy who has extremely calculated about his career. Can I tell you why that happens why? This is my crystal history and I love Chris, well I don't know if I should say that right now, but as a person that's been loved him in the past loves him. I know him as per I knew him as a person. That didn't get do the things that he's done. And you know we'll let the world figure that out, but like. You know back in the day. He messaged me and he said you know. Hey, you're really you know Q.. And I was eighteen and he was hey really cute you know. Do you WanNa? Come to the show come to my show this night, or whatever like I'd love to have you and it felt like a really personal message, right? So I show up to a comedy store and I'm like wow, this guy's like really cute. I'm so excited. Like can't believe this comedian took interest in mean bubble us because like I wanted to get into comedy. I show up to the comedy store and it was when what was the guy was it? Tom Was the book was the booker. And I show up, and it was Dan Madonia and he was working at the comedy store, and I walk up and I go. Hey, I got invited by this guy I'm supposed to be on the list for Christa Leah. and. They all start laughing. And they go another one. Yeah, and I said well. He's just he's. He's always casting a wide net, and whatever he catches he that's what he fox and Dan pulls me to the side, and I'm like. Why are you laughing because I got really upset. That was a white guys laughing at me like I. Don't get it and he goes dude. He's like you're like the seventh girl that showed up tonight Chris. Who That's how that's how we packed people out of shows like bats. How guy how he got started? And I was like heartbroken. Yeah, and I stayed for a little bit, and then like I met him, and then I was just like whatever, and then I kinda just known him casually through the years after I started doing doing. Stand up and stuff like that, and he's always been fine to me whatever but. I just remember that's how he got people to come to his show. Because there's a lot of guys who like I, know a lot of guys who when they get to other cities. They'll get on the dating APPS and like invite chicks on the dating APP to come to the shows, and then they're doing it with so many girls, and then I remember I, was like sitting in the audience with a row full of girls that he messaged. There's like a Harem of U. S. these recruit. Yes, and they like satis altogether like do Chris Invite, you. Never girls just like smoking hot and you're like the cast. We're actually all way hotter than me at the time. This is on the girls I mean. Some of the girls are like normal looking. At. Some of the girls are like holy fuck looking into the sun. You can't even steer. Yeah like I was blown away, but I remember then later. I mean there's so much that I heard that he was like. You know now that he's like engaged and has a baby. Did you know? and. It's like you don't see anything about it on this page. Which is always interesting? Let's always suspect to me at breaks. Bit like if I was his fiancee, I'd be. Might not wiser, not a picture of child. Why why are you hiding me? Yeah, why are we your dirty secret? And then I get some people are like. Oh, I'm private and I. Don't like sharing my romantic life on social media, but then you're kinda like like. Yeah, are you and post a picture with two over our faces and just say like I love my family at least was. Let people you know you have a family. Totally. You know it's a different time. Yeah, you know. I. Totally Agree Listen. Anytime I've dated. Somebody I've. Post one picture from time to time, the person was like this is my relationship because my fear is that we're going to break. Ask these. And then I don't even want to have to do that so I. Just don't post that much, but it's kind of funny. Because I saw Jacobs, Newburgh tweet the other day he goes. He's like it's so funny to me that everyone's just realizing that comedians are total pieces. Shit! Yeah, most medians. A lot of them are a lot of them. Are you have to think that like so many? Many people are doing this. Stand up and things like that because they're trying to fill. They WANNA. Get fucked like they wanNA, fuck chicks, look, you're married to a rockstar. Like part of him wanted to be a rock star one. He fucking loves music and to their the rock star lifestyle is dope. It's the same thing like all comics secretly wannabe rockstars like Josh Adam Myers show. What's his? The show the comedy comedy comedy jam like every comic was lining up to do that show because every comic wants to be a Rockstar I feel like that was like the tagline, wasn't it maybe? I know it's just like it makes me sad. Because like is there. I mean I'm sure there's like obvious Goldman, but I feel like this year. Everyone's just getting exposed like so much. Dirt is coming out on people. I feel like every day opened my fucking twitter, and it's like Justin. Bieber Michelman. Michael Bay was an obvious one. Years but like every day. It's like there's a new. I think right now. It's like. We everybody was. Stuck inside for so long with nothing to do, and then you know finally people hit this boiling point, and then the.

Right right right right and otherwise it's like chicken. I mean I try to be as a vegetarian as possible but. Yeah I love that you just said. Don't eat all the meat. That's a good slogan. Do Life like have meat. Don't eat all of also. Don't eat all everything. You fucking fat. Fox everything we. Ever you want. But. It's just like you know I just a moderate moderate moderate you know. Where did you grow up? Detroit you grew up into generally and is your MOM's. Still they're still. There are still there and you're an only child. You Got Yeah I. Definitely I feel like I got like book intelligence. Intelligence intellectual intelligence for my mom, and then emotional intelligence from my dad. Yeah, because my dad is like the sweetest man alive I love you, but my mom is like it was a little bit of a hostage crisis growing up, you know everything was like lick. It was a dictatorship like I was potty trained at gunpoint like I had to grow up real fucking. I don't have time for this I had my eighth birthday at the children's symphony. The Children's symphony what? Does that fun. What nothing was fun like? My mom would make me go to the lake these adult. She like never wanted us to like be kids. She'd always like dress up and take us places, and like L. Boo and to go places, but it's like I was just never allowed to be like a like a full kid, and then we were like. Like my brother and I were like so hyper active. Yeah, and she started sending us to a shrink when we were seven years old, because we were beating the shit out of each other, and my mom was an only child. She didn't understand like kids gets fight like you have a brother right avenue. Did you beat the shit out of each other? That's what you're supposed to do and I was like. My Dad has a brother, so he was like Susan like. This is very normal. The way kids act and she's like no, it's not normal out of control so that she's I saw shrink from age seven to eighteen. When you have adhd yeah I mean I'm definitely yeah. You're not even a doctor and. You're like you're like bishop bipolar. The mental illness it's no you can, it's it's pretty strong so when you went to the shrink. Did this shrink? Tell you guys you at Adhd and try to medicate I. Mean they tried Butman Ritalin, but it was like I was so young. I was such. Like a tiny thin kid that Ritalin like fucked me and my mom did. Kick you off of it. Yeah, we've actually got off of it. And then I started taking it again in high school, and it was like a lifesaver. Did it help you in high school? It did yeah, and I still take it occasionally like if I need to get shit done, I'll take it, but otherwise it's like I don't care like how hyper I am. Like okay. I think it's great to be a I mean. It's seriously as a comedian it's helps. That helps a lot. You want to say the part about. Guys Brittany records this on her iphone. Her One iphone and we just got a phone call, which interrupted the whole thing I'm like bitch. You got money like get another fucking iphone that you can record on. "What we did was we created a business model where my temptation is besides the point I'll give back. Is Algorithm make? It's built into our business model? It's communicated widely. It's an expectation our customers have, and therefore I put the temptation beyond my reach by building, and into the very business model, and I'm hoping that scale that will survive, and the idea is that you're you can't cheat. You've made it, so it's impossible to cheat on either side on either side of the equation. It's Devices, we think about it as something called ulysses contracts, as it's a timing in Game Theory but the legend of Ulysses is that he lived on the time with us. Was The island in the Mediterranean sirens. This woman monsters who devour anybody who came close. And sailors all knew that the danger lurked, but when they had the song of the sirens attempted, and they believed in their future south, they thought I will have the discipline to stop just before I get to the point of no return and one by one. They paid without Hubris without that Hebrews with their life. And Ulysses was only person to hit some of the sirens, because he tied his hands to the master of the ship, and if we couldn't change course, and we're trying to take a page out of that to say look, we know that we're our moral fiber, no superior to anybody else's. If our hands on tied to the master of the ship will will reach into the cookie jar just like the other people do. How do. Do. We change the game in the outset, so that hand tied, and therefore the goodness flows from the very business architecture rather than because we're better people than anybody else we're. Not I see anyway we're here with. This is fascinating lists. I didn't know it was a game. Theory thing but I. Do know the story of course as most people do. We're here with Daniels. Schreiber. He's the CEO of lemonade he's calling in from. we're talking about insurance I guess for good which most people don't think about when we get back, talk about how much money they've raised in sort of the wider competitive space, every area of insurance is now being venture capitalised I guess if you WanNa put it that way We'll be back after this. "He signed onto being LAPD double agent. Basically that was that was the end of his freedoms now back to the altar and all that I did find a book called spiritualism or SPIRITISM BY G H S. Two books are you follow. ESTA Brooks Yeah I'm sorry to tell you that. ESTA Brooks in. My research is one of those guys even middle of mind control. He's like Sidney gottlieb kind of character. He's like the Louis Jolyon west of UCLA who did Mind Control Control Experiments. You know the CIA gave huge amounts of money. The Not only to you know what you would think be. You know typical prisons prisons but also to universities you know to journalists William F. Buckley was on the CIA payroll Eric. So you get a sense of how insidious their influence was back. Then the unabomber. If I recall was part of the experiments show me say. I've heard that as well home so so I guess you get A sense of Reagan and of course Nixon being president and their sense of militarism and paranoia toward what was considered to be a possible revolution. And I don't think we'll ever see it's like again in. US history for literally. Yeah yeah literally I was just GonNa say Eric People like Reagan and younger and Richard. Nixon believed there was going to be a military attempt at overthrowing the US government which I think is absurd. Well they were being. There was a a lot of people who are feeding that stuff too. It's like I couldn't help but think of parallels with Colin Westbrook and how he was sort of running you know donald freeze but then. There's some speculation about Krishna. VENTA being influence on Charles Manson and all of these guys had this running theme of well. Okay I'm it's hard to get my thoughts together but I found it very interesting that you were talking about the worries of I guess you say Black Revolution and they were emulating the situation with the SLA. But Charles Manson was emulating that situation or his family's emulating that situation as well in the opposite one of the things I talk about on the Etro tour a bus tour of Manson land God bless Richard and Kim because they have introduced me to people in the La Sheriff's department and the it once again it's the Black Panthers it turns out that there's an angle by which Manson's since followers especially the quote unquote girls were trading dynamite found in abandoned gold mines in California uh with Black Panthers And in exchange the girls brought back to Manson's group guns and one day the Black Panthers there's greeted Manson's girls with the dynamite and said thank you. Now get the hell Outta here or before we kill you. And that was the end the relationship so the L. L. A. P. D. and the La Sheriff's both could have arrested while they did arrest Charles Manson and his followers initially and then let them out and then the infamous murders happen they could have kept them in jail and basically my research reveals through. You know Richard in Kim helping me that the LAPD and and the sheriff's Department thought that there was going to be an a violent engagement between Charles Manson's followers and the Black Panthers and they left them out. They're hoping for that engagement. So that they could sweep up and arrest any black panthers so so there's a similarity in terms of the theme of we'll do anything to break up the Black Panthers enters Between revolutions and and of course the Manson murders and would it be fair speculation. I've always kind of felt that Charles Manson himself was nowhere near as dynamic or fantastic as as billing. Well if you're talking about as music music Eric I would tend to agree with you. I think it's pretty bland Charles Manson again. I like because I've I started writing in writing feeder when I write a non fiction book I want the protagonist no matter how negative to be three dimensional. Sure and and without apologizing Charles Manson. You've got to remember that. His mother was a prostitute never knew his father he was raped in jail and within the reformatories and he was not a normal guy before he got out of his teams. I agree so one thing he learned was how to manipulate violate young women to to tell them they were beautiful. He learned from Dale Carnegie. He actually worked for a while for scientology. What was wild he were you got cut off? Yeah he was he was a guy who worked for scientology in Hollywood. And we're and we're trying to recruit people and that didn't work out so well my good friend Paul Krassner who we lost. Not Too long ago had done a lot of really great articles about the SLA in about Manson found out that Manson was let go by scientologist because he was a a little creepy but he wanted the reason he studied. Eric is he wanted to learn how to manipulate the the women that would basically become his family and again without going. Too far down the rabbit hole. The Manson land tour talks about the fact that he watching completely in control of the family. Exactly why Tex Watson and Linda Kosabe Ian were running drug deals without his is knowing it Tex Watson introduced Charles Manson to Sharon Tate. We wasn't a random murder so if you take week if you take Quentin Tarantino's amusing movie and you take Tom O'Neill's chaos book which is twenty years of here. All all the people I met and I still don't know what happened. And you set all that aside and say this guy was a lunatic who manipulated people. And he was burning people on drug deals and the people in his family got out of control and and killed people without his authorization nation. You have a better understanding of what Manson was about. And if you look into then Bouli. OC who wrote helter skelter which sold a couple million copies sir. You understand that. He was accused of prosecutorial misconduct. Because he he was trying to use Susan Atkins as a star witness. And the man tonight said you testify against Charleen. You're in big trouble. So all of a sudden she was unreliable liable and Buluwayo say was stuck with Linda Ca Sabin and he said you know. Put your hair up in pigtails and look innocent. Well forget the fact that you were one of the biggest LSD dealers in Boston will forget the fact that you and Tex Watson were burning people in drug deals in Los Angeles Angeles and you will testify that Charles Manson ordered the murders. And if you do that we will give you immunity. And if you don't do that you you will never see the light of day again. This pretty common honestly it's unique to The Manson family. I mean they're always trying to flip somebody sure but in essence they're flipping. Linda Kosabe Ian to lie so so actually Bouli. OC is also Guilty of of Leaking stuff to the press which could have created a mistrial and Charles Manson could've walked and and part of all of this. I guess the best way to wrap this part up part of all this is that they had a legitimate fear the LA DA's office and that fear was if Charles Manson was ripping off people with drugs and Tex Watson and Bobby Beausoleil went crazy in drug burns and killed somebody in a panic. Charles Charles Manson is an accessory and in one thousand nine hundred seventy and accessory to murder could get eighteen months. Can you imagine what the world interest in the Manson murders. What would have happened if the La da even if they got convictions actions against the others? If Charles Manson only got eighteen months they had to lie and say that he ordered the murders nothing. He's a good guy and then it should have walked free but there was no way in hell and again it's ever younger. Are Powell who worked with Ronald Reagan and the SLA Soleil was ever younger. Who basically went to Buoy Osi? Who was two years in the? DA's office went around the DA. who was in charge? WHO said? Hey it's just a bunch of drug burns and and younger realized that Bouli Osi was saying not only. Could it turn our reputation if Manson gets accessory but it will make our reputation in our careers if we say. He's the Spin Golly who hypnotize people to murder rap thing. They're just a bunch of burnout to screwed up in drug burns. And that my friend is the inside nine-story of the Manson murders. Since truthfully nobody would really care if it wasn't for Sharon tate same way nobody really care about the SLA without Patty. Hearst this is this is very true which is a kind of a sad comment because when you when you think about you know what the LAPD in the CIA a were doing. It's terrible it. It's a horrible history and people should know more about this stuff but again people perceive it as radical politics and it doesn't sell and so forth and so on ask you about that a little bit because you you know admittedly elise year I guess Somewhere to the left of Bernie Sanders. We're looking at practical guy. I know that when Elizabeth Warren says I I want Medicare for all that she's making a huge tactical error the politician because to not recognize. That's how powerful the health industry and big Pharma is in. This country is to just be naive. Like they're the things that you and I want in World Eric and then there are things that are possible given the system. You can't boil the ocean now. That's not where I was going where I was going to sit. I I look at you know a lot of stuff. There happened there in. It's obviously from the laugh. Door would be perceived as left. But they're also have been some Bruce Miss Justices or you know real questions about things going to the right and you know a lot of people say that Waco way out of hand and there are there. Instances like that because Waco kind of generated forget the other one ruby rich sorry Ruby Ridge route in college by most as terror waivers and they were hard core right winging borderline Nazis. I I know of that but I'm kind end of wondering if this is not a government. That's anti laughed. Maybe it's just it's a government that's anti anti-government does that make sense it. It's kind of. I'm curious because I've been on Shows we're the host is far right but what they appreciate about. My research is that I'm saying look at what these agencies have done in the name of justice and the law so you it's kind of you all of a sudden there's a middle middle ground shirt now of course if I talked about you know forgiving college debt. They go get off my show. But you know there's this interesting middle ground on of of people who do not trust the government and of course you know if Congress is at sixteen percent and you know. Donald Trump's impeached reached obviously. There's a huge movement in this country. Rejecting trust in government. The question is how do you change the system to make it better. there's so many things that prevent that lobbying You know campaign finance reform. you know citizens united there. There are so many things that enabled this system that a lot of people say. Hey lobbying thing is a form of graft it's a it's a an industry paying someone in order to look at the bills that they wants. Shouldn't it on the floor of Congress. Well that doesn't sound very very democratic to me. But that's the way our country operates so wild well DI radical but then you say okay..

This 7 year old dog whisperer will melt your heart

"Let's talk about Roman mccown. Okay. So here's a kid seven years. Let me just let me reiterate eighty seven years old seven years old. Whereas he's wearing glasses which. Doesn't need. He wears them for fashion, suspenders and a bow tie. And he is on a mission to rescue to place every single dog in America in a home every kennel dog every shelter dog. He wants a home for those dogs and seven years old. And if you can do it by being cute that kid is going to do it. Because my goodness. Is anyone a huge ward by the ASPCA? He did he did. And he's already placed thirteen hundred dogs. It's unbelievable. He's like sometimes you, you know, a little girl comes on. And she sings the fifty state song were Sophia Grayson Rosie come on, and they sing Nicki Menaj song in one sings in one dozen and they're super cute. And you know, you know, they're going to outgrow that. Yeah. I get the sense that this kid is going to be a zealot yet for for rescuing animals for the rest of his life. And he's going to be the cutest damn rescue. Where every seven years old. That's the part. That's amazing. Seven awesome little. Outfit. You've got to see it. Check out the show. Sweet. We are going to do more with that kid. Yep. Yeah. For sure. And here's Ellen asking him. Why he does it? All right. Well, I love what you did. So congratulations for winning. How did you feel when you one I felt very excited and? Tons of other happy things. Yeah. Lots of happiness inside. So you're seven years old. Yes. When did you start start helping animals I started helping animals when I was four, and what made you want to start helping animals. So when we lived in Texas, and I would see that there were dogs outside of the outside of texmart. Now, we're just in crates with a tiny bed in them. And I wanted to get to for them to get adopted. Right. Okay. But a lot of people think that, but they just kind of go home and go on with their lives. But you decided you wanted to do something about it. I did because they don't need a life in a kennel. I mean, they should be running free. But I don't mean like running free. I just. Yes, they should be somebody's home. And that's so great that you do that. So you help you make videos to to show how cute the animals are. Right. And talk about why they deserve a home. There's all these videos that you've made with all these dogs. And so you go to the shelter and make the videos. Yes, Lee we made the videos for the Gog. So they can get it adopted. Right. And then do you only do dogs or other animals their animals because I actually have once made a video of Guinea pig. A really was Niblett Niblett ended did Niblett get adopted. He got a home as fast as it Dogwood. Oh, that's fantastic. I love that. You're doing this. You know that because I love animals and I loved that. Someone your age already is starting to care about animals because there's a lot of animals and Chiltern that need homes right now hands of animals right now. Yeah. A lot of them. So why do you love helping animals so much? What what is it about animals? Well, I love helping animals because well, they get a life in a kennel what kind of life. This is that it's not a good one. No. And they offer so much love don't they they make you feel happy. They make you feel like you're houses complete with what they dialed or your family's complete. Yeah. I know I sometimes look at kids that don't have pets in their homes, and I'm thinking that's not right. They should grow up with pets. Everybody should have a pet. I mean, it doesn't have to be a dog. But it could the cat. It could be. The basically anything as long as it's just not something that came from breeding..

Let's talk about it. All right. But do they think you're cool because of the two animated movies you were in? No, no, no, no, great movies will thank you. But you know, you're never cool to your own kids. I think that's I don't know anybody who's cool to their own kids. I well four years ago. I kind of committed myself to getting you know, I don't do stuff. That's really for kids is, you know. Yes. And so about about five years ago. I told him I was like I really wanna do stuff for the kids, and I made this commitment to be in animated movies. I told my agents, and I really went after them, and I got some really good animated movies, right? And my kid the reaction to them is like, yeah. But you're just a voice. And then I'm like, yeah. But I'm I'm like one of the main characters and they're like, yeah. But you the bad guy. Accepted. The fact that it's impossible. I'll never be cool. Yeah. I don't want him. Now. They sound very difficult. But then you hosted Saturday live. So that must have been cool to meet little Wayne..
