The fire spread over an area of about 7000 m² in the mega kimchi shopping and entertainment center. Those that is headlines, back to Andrew. Thank you, Emma. The 26 countries of the Schengen area, Europe's Visa free zone are about to become 27. They are not, however, about to become 29, which is to say that while Croatia is acceptance into Schengen has been signed off by EU interior ministers, Romania's and Bulgaria's have not, despite the fact that Romania and Bulgaria have been EU members 6 years longer than Croatia. It was Austria and the Netherlands who kiboshed the aspirations of Romania and Bulgaria suggesting that both were impermissibly soft on illegal immigration. While joined with more on this by Suzanne lynch, chief Brussels correspondent with Politico. Suzanne the European Commission had backed all three countries to join Schengen, so is it a surprise that two of them aren't? Yes, I mean, this was a surprise when it came down to a very political discussion at the meeting here yesterday. And really, it's down to one country, Austria. Austria has seen a real increase in migrants coming through the western Balkans route. Mainly through Serbia, but up into at the EU via those western Balkan countries that are not members of the EU. They have been struggling with this for some months. And the numbers are very, very high for Austria. So politically at the moment, they gave the signal in the last couple of weeks that they weren't prepared to allow other members into Schengen free zone. As you say, Romanian Bulgaria are in the EU, they were just not prepared to sign off on that yesterday. They feel that this issue is too politically sensitive. And I mean, it wasn't completely alone. The Netherlands had issues too, but they had indications that they just had concerns over Bulgaria, whereas they would back Romania and Croatia's accession. But in the end, they decided all country they couldn't get consensus on this just to go with Croatia and Romania and Bulgaria are basically blocked at this point. I mean, we will get to the dark and shabby political subtexts shortly, but it's not like I think it's important to emphasize that Austria and his you correctly point out to a lesser extent the Netherlands don't have a case. Those numbers you mention are quite startling. Irregular entries as they're known into the EU via the west Balkans. This is according to frontex, are up 77% year on year. Yes, exactly. And one of the things the EU has been working on was what was happening in particularly Serbia. Was that countries migrants have been coming from countries that traditionally don't come into the EU. So for example, India at Tunisia, Burundi, there was a high number of citizens built countries going to Serbia because they have a Visa free arrangement there. And then going from Serbia up through other countries into the EU. So the EU has kind of been quietly working with Serbia and say you need to align your Visa free policies with ours. And we can try and get this issue under control. That's kind of been happening and there is some progress on that and Serbia has agreed to align its fees of free regime the EU by the end of the year. But in the meantime, a lot of these migrants have been coming to Austria. And like other countries, Austria has also been dealing with an influx of refugees from Ukraine to become a very big political issue in Austria. And presumably, I mean, they're not going to say this specifically, but we know that politically it was going to be too difficult for the government to say to give degree life for more countries to enter the bees at free zone Schengen when there's such a concern about migrants coming in at the moment. So can we assume and we wouldn't be the first to who did that Austria's government has, well, recognized the fact that you rarely lose votes by teeing off at migrants. Yes, that is, I mean, there are two extent yes, but the way the EU works is this agreement needed unanimous agreement. So every single country needed to back this. So if you go down the veto road in the EU and you may find very soon that other issues that you may want some slack on around the EU table, maybe countries won't be as willing to do that. So it's kind of a dangerous game when you for weeks and months, maybe indicated, or this is fine, then at the last minute, to say, actually, it's not. And that seems to be what happened here. The commission had given that objectively Romania and Bulgaria in particular Romania had fulfilled all the criteria, has been monitoring on this for years, the commission officials are telling us privately there isn't an issue with migrants coming in and say, from Romania to Austria. So in terms of the facts, Romania Bulgaria had fulfilled all the criteria that the commission had expected from them. So Romanian particular are quite annoyed now. The president has been out speaking on this. They say it's profoundly unfair for their country for Romanian citizens. That Romania deserve to receive a favorable vote on this. Whether that there have been many missions to the member states and by the commission, there was over and back between Bucharest and the commission on this and Romania field it had done what it was supposed to do. So they feel very hard done by on this debate, but at least one country got in which was Croatia. And then this issue returned probably next year to look at these other two countries. Well, Romania and Bulgaria are a guest also have the option of realizing that nobody ever lost votes by teeing off at the EU either, but what options do those two countries now have if, as you say, they had met most people's criteria. Is there anything more they can or should or will do? I think some of the language coming from Romania again, I quote the present there, but he also made the point that Schengen accession is Romania strategic objective. And they're not going to stop until they achieve that. So this is a huge issue for people in Romania who want to be able to travel into the Schengen free zone. Yes, they have free movement because they're part of the EU, but the Schengen area means you don't have passport checks. So it's a huge issue for their citizens.

"Pride passion that pageantry of college football lives here. This is the Paul Fein bomb show hour three podcast. And we were back like Matt Schengen joining us the usual Tuesday spot and I was asking Matt as he came on here. Like, where do we start? Because there are so many choice subjects. Spin the wheel, Paul, where are we going to go? Yeah. Yeah. I'm not surprised. And even on the heels of a victory, right? Because a lot of people would have thought that, all right, this is a conditional thing. You beat Florida and has been in Florida been diminished that much where you still get fired when you beat the big Florida count. You're still fired. You did that last year. There were no shoes involved this time. And so if you extra points, yeah, it will definitely Florida even last year. It was a really good football team offensively anyway. This year, they're not the same team, although we'll find out a week removed from now, just whether or not they can pull some magic out. I think that when you look at the general direction of that program, and it started before even last year with the departures after 19, and it was all right, try to find a way to replace that staff in the most key spots, right? Because if you think about any program, there's four key areas. There's the head coach. The two coordinators that get you to three in your quarterback. And he had to replace everybody, but the head coach. So the same guy remained, I got to come up with a new quarterback, which was for. Well, in that instance, when you think about it for on field success, and I think even coach ozer on would allow that is that he's not going to look for the 60 minutes that we play this football game. I'm not the guy that's in there that's pulling the levers and pushing the buttons. But that's not my role here. And they knew that I think when they hired him, is that you're not hiring a strategist, so to speak, there's no denying that the guy can recruit at a very high level. And I will say this. I think you can allow that it was an inspired hire to get Joe Brady. Joe Brady was not a coach of sorts. It effectively in an analyst role and you're going to hand your office to him, Stevens mingr being the coordinator in name only. And now of course he's a coordinator in the NFL now does Joe Brady. But I think when you have two quick revolutions of your coaching staff, the way that they did at the coordinator spots. And to see the results that were being realized, you have to wonder at that point, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Maybe 19 was as anomalous as it seemed. Talented program, but the product on the field was definitely diminished. Let me ask you about this because he's coaching the end of the end of the season or at least that's what I say he is. That rarely happens, maybe coach gets fired the last week of the season he coaches one more game. Sometimes even they coach the ball game and not often. But I want you to explain what's going on what you think is going on behind the scenes. What's going on behind the scenes? Because you have a number of assistants that have no earthly idea who the next guy is, but more than likely are not going to be part of that. Right. And we're all trying to support our families, and they're trying to prepare for games. So I think you know what the question is. Yeah. So what does it look like for those guys? They've got their eye on the door. And they have to, as you pointed out, it's a profession for them. There is no Sutter fused. There is no thinly veiled anything. These coaches are getting paid to coach. And they plan on getting paid to coach next year if it's an LSU or somewhere else, and you've already indicated and you're right. They're not going to anticipate to be back at LSU. I will say this. At least as strange as this has seemed, and especially on the heels of what happened in 2019. This makes more sense than what they did at southern cow. I mean, if we're talking about marquee jobs that are now open, what they did in southern cow to me was literally, we'll just throw the season away. Those coaches for sure, they're not coming back. And they've had their eyes on the door of the entire year after two games. That was absurd. And what we saw at LSU was, I think, let's see. Let's see if these guys that you brought endless. Let's see if this roster gels to where I don't think the anticipation was Division Championship. Because we all knew coming into the seas, I think they were what ranked 15 or 16 coming into the year that this could break good. It could break bad. I don't know that it's broken badly program wise. It certainly hasn't worked out the way coach ozer on anticipated. But as weird as this one is, it's not nearly as jacked up as southern cow did. So the Florida situation is not the same, but it's interesting because you've got a defense that got blown up by LSU. You have questions about the quarterback. So even though they're off, they have a lot. They have a lot to deal with. Or do they? I mean, they really do. And I think that, you know, I think back to when you all were there, right? Nation was there for the Florida banga game. Yes. And there was a lot of talk about Anthony Richardson. And what role can he have in the offense? Well, we had them two weeks ago when they played Vanderbilt. And Anthony Richardson had come back for really that one game versus Kentucky, missed the prior two. Emory Jones looked his best in those games in my view. And you looked at Anthony Richardson's numbers and they were largely compiled versus what South Florida and farted Atlantic. And so no disrespect, but the expectation would be that you would dunk on those guys. Your box score should look pretty good after those two teams. And they did. But why is it that we're still seeing him situationally? And then you see the game that we saw from Florida last week. And the concern that I think you have at this point in the season is if neither one of these guys has seized that quarter quarterback position, then it's not that you have two quarterbacks. It's that you don't have a quarterback. And I don't know that that could have been avoided. I do think that it appeared as if Anthony Richardson was destined to be for this season anyway, a package oriented player. He was not going to be this is our offense. Anthony go operate it. And it seemed as if that was going to be their MO going forward. After last week, does that change? I don't know. You got to buy a week. We've seen Florida do some crazy stuff over the biweek. I can remember what year was it 20 13 or 14 and next thing you know Trey Burton's out there and they're running basically the inverted vere. And you just think that's amazing. And one and beat Georgia in that game and you think you completely reinvented yourself offensively and you beat a what was thought to be at that time, one of the containers for the east division. So there's a lot that can change. I think I just don't know that this quarterback situation needed to persist as long as it has. And I feel certain that internally there in Gainesville, they're sitting there thinking, what could we have done differently? Maybe the answer is nothing. But I do think that by now, given those two quarterbacks that are available and the defense the way that it performed the other day, that's all the more pressure now on whoever it is, it's going to be taken those snaps because you somewhat been exposed. Else you had to run the football all season and then they hang what 360 something yards or something on the ground, that's a pretty remarkable statistic at this juncture in the season. I want to conclude with the Alabama Tennessee game because Tennessee continues to exceed our expectations in many ways. Oh, to say that that offense is light years ahead of what I anticipated it being is a mass. It's still a massive understatement. And that's pretty hyperbolic, right? Light years. But to me, Josh hypo coming in. Knowing that, look, the guy was averaging 40 plus points when he was in a zoo. He goes to UCF. There is no drop off, post Scott frost, which could have been anticipated. But UCF is still an SEC land. That's Siberia. Nobody's paying close attention to their opponents necessarily. So could he replicate that at Tennessee, especially knowing that that was an anemic offensive philosophy and really roster. And you see.

At least to the extent that they ever sort out of bull after five days of debate. The case parliament was to vote on Tuesday, which now feels like it was some time in the late nineteen ninety s on whether or not to approve the exit agreement struck by Prime Minister, Theresa majoring, the five hundred years which have elapsed since the U K voted to leave the EU in two thousand sixteen the difficulty as had only been spotted by literally anybody who'd been paying any attention at all is that there was no chance of maize plan winning majority on the grounds that everyone hates it. Brexit has ossified into something upon which nobody wants to compromise. May's deal is far to remain for Brexit's and much to Brexit. For remains the prime minister therefore announced on Monday that they wouldn't be vote after all this probably wasn't a bad move on balance had made lost especially by the funding margin seemed. Likely. None of the consequences looked palatable. It is a fact of law that as things stand. Red Light District (Amsterdam) - 2018 All You Need to Know
"Let's end. No today's program by heading off to Amsterdam the city's Myers play into issue sex work permits for locations outside the historic center of the city. It's part of efforts to move the red light. District out of the area. Monaco's acting business had asked while Amsterdam correspondent is Venetia rainy and she joins me now. Hello venetia. Good afternoon. Why this move in unwind now as sort of Amsterdam is fed up with this sort of red light district, and it's nefarious influence around the city. Well, the red light district has been around for loan time. Obviously it sprung up because this is a richly poured. This is the same as So to speak. speak, but this is an ongoing effort by city councils Cain up the fifty center that turning to eight get rid of the wrong sort of tourists. So that means the people that come on these budget airlines that come for one or two nights that may need drink beds. That goes AM's, maybe stay in her towels and are tracked it at least in part by the legal prostitution. So it's possible and they tried to ban tourist shops. They've found beer bikes done whole bunch of things and the things works. I fall out. This is the next step for them the next step, and I wonder I guess was a divide isn't Evanston between you know, who it's outwardly attempting to benefit and who were what is really about by which I mean is this another bid to basically rid a city of the the wrong kind of tourist? If you like we've seen the similar kind of dynamic in bus loner, for example, Amsterdam's wrestled with this before is this about helping those that you need need need some help, maybe, you know, sex workers. Who, you know, having friend, Tom, thanks to be nice. But actually, it just they just the city wants to get rid of the wrong the wrong sort of tourists. I think that's a really good point. And one hasn't quite made its way into international press yet what we're seeing in the Dutch process that notable sex work is happy with this. You know, this idea that they'll be safer for moved outside. The center is just not always true that is a huge problem of human trafficking and forced prostitution in the sensor. Moving those prostitutes outside of the center isn't gonna stop trying to think Think of of the problem. the problem is that prostitution is legal in the Netherlands, and they have open borders because of Schengen so moving out of the city centre isn't gonna soul fat and a lot of sex box set. Well, we pay rent till, you know, some of these places are businesses that are owned properties that are owned a profile owners, and they say, well, it's legal. Why are we now being pushed off the break here? Very profitable area of tourism for us. That we've spoken before about the fact that there was this long term program of decades-long initiative to essentially deal with those really insidious in serious problems.
