"It's form is if p then q and if our then s either pierre are so either cure s. Yeah moving from that. In the fifteen hundred s it came to me and more loosely a choice between two undesirable alternatives and now despite actual fights between dictionaries and their usage panels it has evolved into being accepted synonym for a plight predicament. So that brings us here. What a journey. That was coach. Okay speaking a great words. Today the word of the week is dunce. A dullard adult an ignoramus. And i chose this. Because i love the origins it came about as a standalone word. In the fifteen seventies from the earlier dunn's disciple or dunn's man in the fifteen twenty s. Now these were the followers of john. Duns scotus who was a scottish scholar of philosophy theology who along with thomas aquinas and william of autumn was one of the leading scholastic philosopher theologians of the high middle ages and then the sixteenth century. His followers argued against the renaissance humanism and the term dunce became a per the protestants a term of abuse one. That was a synonym for one. Who was incapable of scholarship. And then by the fifteen seventy is it. Just became any dole witted student. That is a very tough legacy for a once. Great man but in nineteen ninety-three. Pope john paul the second. I think it's pronounced beautified duns and that's a recognition from the catholic church of when someone has passed that they have an entrance to heaven and they can intercede on behalf of individuals who pray in in his or her name. So he's got that going for him which is nice. But his name is now synonymous with dolt. Okay sentence hundreds of years from now will someone in our modern times and entertainer author or even saturno former president inspire a legacy like that of john. Duns scotus offering up for the ages a new word like dunce. Now let's get back to the interview so you eventually end up getting your first shot as a head coach with the hawks. When you're promoted midseason right which is a tough position for your first time as a head coach because it doesn't feel concrete And it wasn't a eventually right for you. It was a pretty short run with the hawks. You went back to being an assistant with the warriors before getting another shot as a head coach. When you got that opportunity with the hawks and ended up going back to being an assistant. Were you patient and thought yourself that head. Coaching opportunity will come..

Now do you wanna give me shit about not asking about skater in any form or fashion. No i think that you've probably late in bed at night and done that to yourself. All the conversation we had about who the hell was skater. And why was he c- blocking you from getting to kent. I mean come on. Heidi you not ask that question. Well what was it. His charming out on the range accent. Why you know. We'll just you know that kind of thing you you just were like whenever you start. The stereotypical southern accent. All i think about you doing is politics. And i don't know why but i think the first time i've heard you do that. Politics was in the news and you were talking about. Our kids needed to get off tit it fifty years. Whatever it was but you have said that you'll you say may not happen on audio. So why didn't you ask. The question was the question on your list now. So what happened is through my due diligence and through sound checking. I was talking with kent and his wife. I assume it was his wife. Maybe it was his daughter. And i said as we were getting through it and i thought we were building a little repore said. Hey can't who's the leader. And he just kind of chuckled. And he's like. Oh that's my father-in-law he's like He's a he's a really he's a cowboy. He's a really good cook in his own. Right and blah blah blah and. He helps me do this. That and the other thing. So as soon as he said father-in-law that was it for me. I wasn't going to sit there and say well. Hey you know skied. Here's here's a little quick on the trigger. Y'all if you know what. I mean you should have. Yeah but whatever his priests. But i had secured the interview and it was through an end around so like why. Bother badgering fantasy. Kent might have never known about it. Listen please don't talk to the guests before interview next time. I have to check his because that happens then questions. Come out that you ask you get the answers to the you. Don't ask them and all of your audience. All the central lights are sitting here going. He pitched so much about that. Frigging skater. i can't wait til greg holds them on the carpet and assen but but think that question kisses kisses country asks for the old energy this as his country as country s all wide dusty ass. That's what country. They widened dusty. That's what the country has. Its wide dusty. Nothing i mean. Do you think the great. Greg expecting that had i not done any pre interview and i just would have risked that he sounded. Okay that when we got through the introduction. I would've said hey tent no before heading to ask you. Who the fuck is this skier. Like you would've hang is absolutely do your pre interview. Yeah of course but limited to sound. And what's the weather where you are. And maybe what are you wearing is he wearing chaps. Does he wear chaps. Did you ever ask about chips. No i didn't. I'm saying just keep to that. You know what happens you talk to. Somebody asked him a question or two and then you have the answer. Now you do not bring that question up in an interview so what. I'm what i'm saying. But what i'm saying is do you think by. Do you think my questioning of skater had not brought it up or learned anything in the pre interview or not. Read the book and found out in the book as well to confirm that. It's father in law that i would have been aggressive or more aggressive with. Who's skater line of questioning is just to see surly both in the in the days leading up to the interview. I would imagine you have been slightly more aggressive about the skater question. Yeah because you certainly were excited about. Who the hell is a skater. Blocking me from getting to kent rollins yeah and his little list of questions in you know who's your audience and how many people listen. What are we going to talk about. How is that relevant to any guide luck. You realize it was a mistake now. Let's just end it all right In my point alfonzo.

Thirty seven be whatever you wanna call it if you want to get the hashtags wrestlemania thirty seven eight and mercer media thirty-seven be trending by all means i use them in. I'm the only one using them. I thinks oh randy. Orton defeated the fiend. With alexa bliss and his corner until she wasn't in his corner anymore she was on top of that. Big jack-in-the-box thing. Which i don't know any so we'll see how that works. If she's gonna decide what. Randy orton or just happy with fiend anymore or what. She's gonna do saturno as long as it doesn't mean less alexa bliss than happy with it. Anything that results in more alexa bliss can't possibly be a bad thing. Possibly baby thing the first bad thing to came from bliss. Wb women's tag team champions fighting from underneath ny jackson shayna baszler defeated second to none natalia. And to me to snooka by technical submission after you know. Shane obeys ler booted. Natalia interface and busted open her lip. So yeah i keep up o blood and pain and yeah present when watching okay. Don't you know who my dad is or something along. Those lines shameless defeated ross. United states matt riddle. I don't even know who is dead. Is just going back to that quickly. Les paul. i don't know sheamus defeated roy. United's as champion matt riddle in a not surprisingly hard fought and hard hitting match as which chambers being a hard pitting muslims so I don't know it's punishment for anything or just. They just wanted to have a new champion. that happens in wrestling. Somebody does something that the promotion does want them to do so they punish them. Apollo crews defeated smackdown kennel champion. Big e a night nigerian drum fight which apparently description of it was that it wasn't an actual drum. It was. you're gonna be beaten so hard. It's going to sound like a drum. You're going to beat your opponent so hard. Sounds like a drum specifically nigerian drum apparently so because apollo crews now nigerian. I don't know if he act. I have to assume that didn't randomly say you know. I got this email from a nigerian prince. I think make a great wrestling gimmick. No probably wouldn't but any rate dow rhea ripley defeated raw women's champion oscar. So yes lot of title changed like three title changes in a row and really the only title changes that night because the only champion who needed storyline was. I think who needed to defend his title. Who needed to still be champion. I think when he walked out of wrestlemainia smackdown universal champion roman reigns with j. Lo and paul heyman in his corner defeated. Wb hall of famer edge and daniel ryan israel threat match so. I'm not saying like charlie shortly like in out of character. He's back saying i'm gonna win or also gonna do whatever threaten zoo. I mean character wise. His character needed to still be champion. More so than the other champions needs to be champion at the end of the night. Just seems like where they're going with. Roman reigns is like. I need to be champion. I need to be this thing. I need to be on top. I need to be the person you need to talk to. So i need to be the champion. Need to look up to damp the head of the table as he says so interesting to see how the go this how far they go with it. How far he's going to go with champagne if he's gonna and also pointed out if you look at the three competitors in that match. Roman reigns had leukemia. Edge had broken neck and daniel bryan had a major concussion so they all came back from what would be considered not only career ending. But you know potentially life threatening conditions though. That was quite the i mean. That's another reason. I guess not so character wise. Maybe or maybe a little bit deeper into his character knowing. He had leukemia and he fought back from leukemia. He's now the best at being what he is now. He's going to be the best and he doesn't care whether or not you want him to be the best he's going to be the best and there's no one can take it away from him because he defeated leukemia anyway. So who knows. That's what they're doing and at any rate whatever.

"Podcast. And if this is your first time tuning and this is a much different format than are typical. I guess we call them. The numbered episodes the ones that have like a little number by them. Start with the tipsy. I don't know that that's where i'd start or place to start like if you've ever listened before this would be an interesting place to start. Maybe you should. I pause go listen regular episode and then do the tipsy center. Yeah it just depends whatever your personality type is if you think this is for you go ahead and stick with it if not number thirteen. I highly recommend with allison tedford. We just released today. An amazed these. We are very professional. There we will not be very professional. Here we will not have a guest and it's live and we do not edit it so it's kind of a mess But it is a recap of the previous months episodes. Talk a little bit of what's coming up in the months ahead Again we just like to put this little asterix at the beginning for anybody who's shown up for the first time. This is not our typical episode. It's the it's a bonus is a bonus and sometimes people show up on facebook and watch chess and sometimes they don't number here. I don't it's probably kristen or my mom. Think liens had made me. She was coming mom. But i can't. This is funky. Were doing it in the group for the first time and there is something weird with the comments so if we don't comment back to you oh yeah it's something's weird so we'll go into the comments later in facebook and respond if it doesn't work here yes we decided because we have our facebook page for those of you who don't spend as much time with the ins and outs and nuances of facebook. There's a difference between pages and groups are paid just public. That's something that anybody can go to but we have a private group And we just thought that it'd be fun to do this in the group for once instead of on the page so we will see if we end up breaking technology by doing that. But if not and you'll still be able to listen to this on the podcast and you can go back and listen to it at any time By gosh i guess you have to join the group in order to listen to it because it will live in so it is or the podcast is is called mom and dot dot dot com unity. So if you're looking for that s- please drop on in. We'll do our best. We approve people as fast as we can. We do a little quick check to make sure that you're not a russian odd anything suspicious. They yes so. But that more than anything is to chance for us to regroup and kinda pull our thoughts together for all that this great episodes that we've had for the month ahead and you know missy and i don't see a lot of other so as if not knows the chance to say their missy. I did go out in the world this week. I'm fully vaccinated. And so i'm still being super super careful but i as m like running errands with just a little more freedom and all the things i did i just had. I just felt wild. Like i was out going and doing things and as you go into stores i did. I went into costco. I have not been in costco since. Probably january twenty twenty. Oh it into nordstrom. I have i. I've been in westrom. At the last time. I went to return something on march thirteenth twenty twenty. Yeah and i remember talking. When i was making the return. I talked to the man and said what do you think are you guys gonna close and he goes. Oh we will never close. That's crazy that none of these stores around here ever going to close just the next day for ya. I went and had returns and things and actually tried on some clothes and bought a couple of things and all my gosh. I'm so just so you know. Tomorrow is our second shot. You're almost there. I'm almost there which i mean. I don't think our entryway could take what you're talking about doing the returns. It is packed full because we are super super super covid. Averse safety minded So yeah i am really testing the return policies of most of corporate america. I've got some target. I've got some athletic. How do you pronounce it athletes or athletes. I think i may have missed it so if anybody needs any extra small jobs bras not for me. They were from my daughter. They were even too small for Fifteen year olds skinny girl. So i think we may have missed the window on that which is going to hurt because those were not cheap. We'll be very nice to you and give you store. Credit is my guess. I'm hoping my my strategy. For returning. And i hate to put this much thought into it but i usually like a little up like i like to get made up so i look like i'm a legitimate human and then i usually go on a week day when they're not as busy which i don't know if that works against it or for like maybe when they're so busy they care less their dislike. Just go just take your money and leave lady Saturno i try to give them like the space and that honoring their time by not bothering them unlike when they could be making money from some sale since they don't like i feel like they don't have time to think like if you're sale is old and you need. They need to get managers. It's just too hard on the weekend so much. Go and it's hard. It's hard on me. Honestly maybe it's more for myself that i'm doing it this way. I don't like either. I dragged my feet. Yesterday i was so prepared. I printed out my return for this thing for the order to pair of jeans from the gap. I don't know what i was thinking. They are now covid. Jeans considered it. Look like clown pants. They're ridiculous they were horrible so i need to return them. I printed put my car. Guess what. I did not put in my car did you actual Oh my god. I did that with an inflatable pool. One heads and yeah. And i think i even have a facebook post. It will probably come up my memories from like ten years ago is when we still lived in seattle. It was like when driving across town to a target to return your items. Be sure to bring items was the first stop. And i was like that's weird. I don't oh. I looked all over the car i thought also remember. Gary knows out to the car. If i don't remember mine it'll be bad because they are three Ottomans re giants not giant. But their automates And they're giant. When they're taking my entry way i've got those and i've got So i'll try to make this the shortest version of this story When we were trying to do our spring break get away So the dogs we drop them off the day before so that we could have trying to pack and they've meant to their little doggy daycare and hopefully the regular doggy daycare. We take him to isn't listening because we've taken bear for years with no incidents. I don't know he caused. He caused an incident. He was part of an incident. I don't know what happened. I didn't ask any questions. I just paid the vet bills an ass not to return. And i honor that record.

"Know it's a three day weekend, right? Monday's president's Day you might have the day off. I I didn't realize it until yesterday, so let's see. Check it out. Oh, my goodness. You know so much so much good going on in the world and and so much bad and you know, we focus so much on the drama and the politics And obviously, with the impeachment hearing going on right now, the trial there's there's a lot of things that divide us. But there's there's also there's also so many things that could bring us together. On by just everyone's while you have to be reminded by that, Have you ever been to Ah, Diane Bass game or really, Ah, lot of other sporting events here. One of the vendors, one of guys who walks around selling the soldiers of the drinks and things like that. You probably have seen him and hurt him. Usually he's doing lemonade. And he's his calling out his signature line. Lemonade lemonade like Grandma made and you, You must have seen him. He's been doing that for years and years and years I didn't like 30 years in the Phoenix area has been a fixture of D'backs games at Suns Games and Sun Devil Stadium, a Cactus League Um, He's a concert. I'm sure you've seen him well. As you might imagine. He hasn't been able to work for a year, right? I mean, all there haven't been diamondback games and Suns games and things like that, and he had he didn't have any money was unable to have health insurance so he had, but he had started having a lot of health issues. And his friends and family rallied around him. They reached out to the public for help. I don't you saw this yet, And they did one of those go fund me pages and they did it and I got to tell you as of yesterday afternoon they had already raised they were trying to raise like 50 grand. They had the help of his medical bills. They had already raised $89,000. Steve, could you jump on there and decided even checked before I came on which is bad, but so many people in the community Just an outpouring of support. You know, people throwing in 10 bucks, 25 bucks 50 bucks whatever they can to help this guy, And obviously there's many other people like him that we don't know. You know what I mean that you haven't heard of, and they're having financial issues. They have been able to work there struggling just to survive. They don't have health insurance. I mean, a lot of people dealing with this. Here's one guy who we don't really know him. We just kind of know him, if you know what I mean. What's the number? Steve? So their goal was $50,000 currently at $112,000. It's pretty amazing, right? And what's the name of the gold fund? Me in case I want to do it. The headline is help Derek MORE D E R R I C K M o R E So he's the guy that's lemonade like Grandma made that that's his. That's his tag line. Lemonade lemonade like Grandma made And if you have, if you want to get on there and give him a little money, go to it. You know, this is a guy has to be able to work for a year. Downey's money needs help with his medical bills, but it just it was his friends did a little bit of this did this It'll go fund me page you got out on social media and boom. Look at this in a couple of days over $120,000. It's amazing. It makes you feel good. I just got little shiver. It just makes you feel good people trying to step up and like I said, I know there are thousands and thousands of people in the exact same circumstances. He is. We don't know. And no one has a go fund me page and you won't read about it. And maybe it's just something makes us feel better. But we need to figure out a way to help these folks. There's a guy who worked always had a great attitude. He's not looking toe for this. He doesn't want this, but he hasn't. There's no work and some people When I talked about this with the stimulus program is exactly what I'm saying. Some people really need money. I'd rather send a guy like this a check for $3000. And not send any money to people who haven't lost her job. It makes no sense to me. I've seen this guy a countless d'backs games like you mentioned. Remember, specifically one time when I was in college, I went to see Disney on ice that the sun's arena with a friend. And he was there doing the same thing. Yeah, that's the job. Say Yeah, It was great. Yeah, and you're like, Oh, I know that guy. You feel like you know him. Yeah, you do. Could you tell your friends with him your room and you have this connection with him, even though you don't know him, you know you, but he's a good guy Always had. The thing about him is always great attitude, always smiling, Always happy to be there, and he makes your experience there better just by him being there and For Derek Morris. You want to jump on that Go fund me Page Derek More, and it's lemonade. Lemonade like grandma made. And if you want to throw a little money, please do don't feel obviously don't have to, but I was just happy to see how quickly the community rallied behind somebody to do that. And on a little bit of a Saturno, But to me again, it makes me think every day. Thank thank thank God. Thank goodness. Thank your family for everything. You have hug your kids hug your spouse. Um A.

"Hour has just been filled with very mid tempo songs this morning Wood Try to get you going today. Welcome back Jason and Alexis in the morning. Everything entertainment. Everything. Johnny Carson, early to bed early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise as well. We hope it doesn't always work out that way. Let's get loud. That's what Jennifer it's J. Lo's right there. Welcome back. We're talking about the entertainment from yesterday and just funny moments as celebrity funny moments. And okay that the Bernie Sanders and it is the means of him sitting sitting in his life look like a lawn chair sitting in his night sitting by himself distanced And he looked like when he was walking in. He had like a Manila envelope like like he had to go to the ups door after to drop off, looked like he had some mail to drop off. After the inauguration. He's and he kept looking at his watch. Bernie's like If I get to ups store by three, it is guaranteed next day male Can we wrap this up? Oh, man, that tweet was so funny and someone calling him Vermont Dad core just everywhere, just clipped him out and put him in game of Thrones on the throne. There he is. In Bridger Tin. He's hanging out with you just It's so so funny. Now I know some more about the mittens because you know that was one of the first things. That I saw those. I thought those were handmade. They have to be. Those are amazing, and they are handmade. It's made by a second grade teacher named Jen Ellis. She lives in Vermont. She's a public school teacher. She's a big fan of Bernie theaters. And she says she remembers making them for him and going. I don't even know him, although I guess the director of her daughter's preschool is his daughter in law. So that's how I think she got the gloves to him matters. Okay? Yeah, It's kind of right Master Like, yeah, the director of the crazy So There is, you know, she did have a connection to but she didn't know him at all. And so she makes him out of wool sweaters that air up cycled. People aren't wearing any more. She lines them with fleas. And she just sent them off and didn't think again about it. And then I saw them on the campaign trail and then now saw them again, and it's just you could tell. She's just so proud until happy. It's cute. You know, as a maker when someone just loves what what? You're what you make it end. Puts it to use. That's the best compliment of all it is and then to see them like that. Hilarious. What? What? Yes, yes, that. What's in that envelope? Is it something he's like? I would like you to do this first. Yeah. Yeah. Orders of the president.
