Biden Calls Satchel Paige 'The Great Negro' in Latest Gaffe and Liberal Media Defends Him

"Think with the media would do if Donald Trump called a black man a Negro. Violating federal law incidentally, I mean, Obama signed a law in May of 2016 banning the word. We don't use the word Negro anymore, but obviously Joe Biden does. And what the media did to provide him cover is so comical. That it bears pointing out if you probably have heard it by now. There's a lot to get to today. It's Friday. We had a busy week. We're going to head into a busy weekend. This is a big breaking news day. You're not going to want to miss a second of today's Mike Gallagher's show 'cause we have a lot of great stuff planned for you. The Kyle rittenhouse trial is going to wind down early next week as it goes to the jury. There's only one reason that this jury would convict him. And we all know what that reason would be. We'll get to that in just a moment, but first in context, here's the 46th president of the United States on Veterans Day. You know, I've adopted the attitude of the great Negro at the time picture in the Negro leagues went on to become a great pitcher in the pros and Major League Baseball after Jackie Robinson. His name was satchel page. Now, we could probably assume he meant to say the great Negro league pitcher, maybe when he said that Barack Obama was clean, he didn't mean to say, like he was clean like he bathed, maybe he meant to say, has a clean record. When he said that you can go into any 7 11 and hear everybody talking with an Indian accent, maybe he didn't really mean Indian accent. I mean, you could give him a lot of, you know, cover, right? Because that's what the left does. When he said, you know, those Republicans want to put y'all back in chains. Maybe he didn't mean like literal chains, maybe even those little paper chains that our kids did in kindergarten. Because honest to goodness, the media sprung into action yesterday to defend

The Cowboy Bob Mystery

"Morning in may nineteen ninety. One a ten gallon hat wearing sunglasses. Beer-bellied bearded individual exit in nineteen seventy five to pontiac grand prix to enter the american federal bank building in irving texas. The person stepped into the banks lobby and headed towards the counter. Where young female teller was smiling cheerfully. Hello sir the teller said how may help you. The bearded man slipped the teller note. This is a bank robbery at red. Give me your money. No marked bills or dye packs. The stunned teller handed over a stack of cash from her drawer. The robber nodded stuck the money in a satchel and walked out of the bank. A seamless robbery with the perpetrator vanishing into the afternoon. This was the start of the near flawless run of large-scale bank robberies that occurred between nineteen ninety one and nineteen ninety-two they call the robber cowboy bob. Because of the ten gallon hat he always wore eluding cops for years and then after serving time having one more wild ride. This is the legendary tale of dallas bank robber. Cowboy bob. So cowboy bob again. I keep saying that name. It feels comical but it is kind of endearing to was always calm completely unarmed. Polite always almost completely silent. He avoided security cameras. Checked each bill for marks or dye packs. Stipends are those small dye-filled devices that someone in a bank and set off and they stay in the cash and whoever was holding the cash at the time like a bright blood red cowboy. Bob gave the teller a note announcing that this was a robbery and to hand over the cash and would casually the bank placing a new stolen license plate on the back of his pontiac. Every time and drive off the first five times. Bob hit it was masterful so much. So that the fbi who were now trailing him obsessively were driven crazy by how good this bank robber was the beard and the hat and a silence made him really hard to identify and the stolen license plates made him almost impossible to track. He didn't make scenes. He didn't peel out in his getaway car. he didn't attract much attention at all. He was always making me. Start to pull my hair out former agent. Steve powell told texas monthly in two thousand five. How good this thin little dried up cowboy be whipping us. His bad time after time

The Trials of the Infamous Defense Attorney Frank Carson

"A sixty four year old attorney is making his way slowly up the concrete steps of the courthouse in modesto california. His body is wracked with pain. His heavy shoulders are hunched forward over the cane. He carries in his right hand from his left hand swings. A cracked black leather satchel stopped with his legal files. He's here at eight thirty on a monday morning. In june two thousand nineteen to do the unpopular work of defending the wrongly accused the thoroughly guilty and clients at every point in between he's made this trip thousands of times in better days. He swaggered the flamboyant terror of cops and prosecutors and judges. I haven't had any qualms about going after law enforcement for lying. If they fudge once they fudge it's open season. This is frank carson the most combative and controversial criminal defense lawyer in stanislas county. His kidneys are failing. His sciatic nerve is aflame and his morning. Families of Negro Leaguers rejoice in MLB's decision to recognize league

"On wednesday. Mlb announced that it was quote unquote elevating negro leaguers. Two major league status within its official historical record which helps explain why google searches for the name. Josh gibson suddenly started spiking. Baseball says it's figuring out how to include negro leagues statistics into its canon of sacred numbers. And there is no resume quite as legendary or as mythical as that of the late josh gibson. The catcher that satchel page once unambiguously deemed the greatest hitter. Who ever lived. So i called up shawn gibson. Josh's great grandson and the executive director of the josh gibson foundation to understand what mlb's decision to elevate his great grandfather means to him. Well first of all. I don't like the word elevating. I think it should be more of a merger because niggly baseball player or major league players as well. So that's first and foremost this. And i want to bid tuesday night as josh gibson's greg grants and i woke up as josh jacobs. His grandson asher to cerebral calls questions about this happened. Literally when people say happen literally overnight it literally happened overnight and to wake up and see that in lobby made the announcement and josh gibson. Now what we consider not just one greatest league baseball players he. He'll be considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time and so for us in our family. It's a great honor. Ona understand josh. What you heard growing up from family from friends about how your great grandfather considered his own career compared to those who had the opportunity who were afforded that opportunity to play in the majors for jars. You know and the other great negro baseball players you know. They knew they were great players. They didn't even know by to tell him that it was just a decision At that time it was in that era. that kennesaw mountain land is denied the opportunity to play in the majors but did not stop him. They barnstorm against a lot of white baseball players. And you know as well as we know. I know is that a lotta times. They beat the white ball players in. So that's something right there. And so when i totally stories just in our family. There's we call josh gibson big josh. 'cause josh gibson junior of course is the sense that you can't say jockey get confused. I wanted to ask you about one of big joshes more famous nicknames. He was called very famously. The black babe. When you hear that sean about your great grandfather how does that make you feel you know. Let's say this bridge. Stevens bakers great grandson. He's one of my good friends. We go back and forth back and forth on this all the time. I didn't know that okay. Tell me about your relationship with him. And what you guys talk about on this regard. That's great so burn. Stevens is bait roof. Great grandson and so we always talked about. You know josh gibson's compared to my grandfather. And i'm like well that's what you but if you ask me about. Bay roof is a white josh gibson. So we go back and forth. Is we always say our people always say Yankee stadium was called the house. Ruth bill in ice t's brent are okay but who hit the furthest home running stadio i give them on that one. Well i mean. I want to even push that. Story further sean. Because i grew up going yankee stadium. He's the only human being to ever hit a fair ball out of the park out of the house. That babe ruth ledley built. I don't want to rub it in his face to. I don't go that far. I just say the furthest rebel. We all know he headed out. The ballpark. we know is over near babe. Ruth kane close no all seriously. I've heard several stories two different stories. I heard it. It's out of the ballpark. Been a heard from some players that hit like the top tier of moammar. So you wrote a piece of the undefeated in august about your grandfather's name being on the mvp trophy. And that may have been unthinkable at one point but now it does feel like there could be momentum towards that. Why is this important to you and your family. Then the peak kinda fell on our lap on. This happened to read an article about terry pendleton barry. Larkin and mike schmidt. Making a case to remove kennesaw Mountains landers name off the mvp award and it gets to okay. Well here at a names that they're considering replacing the name with in his frank robinson branch rickey and go shoot josh gifts literally again on the phone with my board directors. I said listen. We just found herself in a race. Let's see how we can win it so for us. I'm hoping that the vwa taking consideration of this and really think twice when they make a decision to rename this after josh gibson but this mvp war if this may not. The jaw is just about josh gibson. This will carry on the legacy of all the other great players as well. Who were denied the opportunity. So josh gibson is carrying several thousand players on his shoulders but his vp award the page. Family the buck leonard. Cool up a bail family. Turkey stars fan oscar charleston. Family all great players will all celebrate. It'll be named after josh. But every time i speak about this i'll make sure represent all the family members who were denied the opportunity

The forecast high for San Francisco tomorrow is 68. Oakland should reach a high of 75 in San Jose. The Saturday high will be 87. Sacramento should hit a high of 97 degrees tomorrow. This is fresh air. I'm Dave Davies in for Terry. Gross. Baseball is back. For now at least and many major league teams this year are celebrating the 1/100 anniversary of the Negro leagues. Which gave African Americans a place to showcase their talents before the game was integrated. Today will listen to my interview with author Larry Tye about a man some believe was the greatest pitcher who ever lived. Leroy Satchel Paige. It's said that his fastball in his prime was so terrifying. Some opposing batters called in sick. In the 19 forties, Ty writes. No one was better known or more beloved among black Americans, not Joe Louis, not Count Basie or Duke Ellington because Satchel was unstoppable on the mound and because he played and lived with such style and charm. Central Page played his best seasons before baseball was integrated, so he didn't get the years and records in the big leagues he might have. But he's in the Hall of Fame that holds the record for being the oldest player ever to throw a pitch in the majors at age 59. Larry Tye says there's another story in satchels, rich and colorful life about race in America and how satchels barnstorming through American towns brought black and white fans and players together long before Jackie Robinson broke baseball's color barrier. Guy's biography is called Satchel. The Life and Times of an American legend. Larry Tye. Welcome back to fresh air. I thought we might begin by asking you to just pay a little bit of a picture of Satchel Paige in his prime if someone went to the ballpark Say in the thirties, when he really had his career. Going? Just give us a little bit of a sense of sort of what they would see what made him distinctive and special. Before the game even started. Everybody knew that you wanted to come out early and watch Satchel and what you wanted to watch Wass he would set up on home plate a set of matches. And he'd set up this tiny little matchbook and he proceed to throw eight out of 10 pitches directly over the book. Some days, it might have been a postage stamp. Some days, it might have been a gum wrapper. It was tiny objects, and he did that for two reasons. One was to delight fans, and it always delighted fans, and they always showed up early to watch him do something like that. The other was he knew that opponents whether it was a Negro League team or local barnstormers, who had never seen him before. We're there early as well. They knew this was the legendary satchel Paige and they were watching what he was doing, and when you watched him Burn these fastballs in with this pinpoint accuracy that he could actually get it directly over a book of matches. It started giving you precisely the second thoughts that Satchel knew these shows would do so he was somebody you came early to watch. And you always got the show before the show. His walk to the mound was even distinctive. Right? Itwas he actually did. What was More like a shuffle than a walk. He knew that the game couldn't start until he got there. And he was darn well going to take his time getting there again, letting fans absorb this magic of this guy who had arms so long that it looked like they were touching the ground. Who had legs so long that he had to take a really large steps just to avoid tripping over his own legs and who was distinctive and elegant enough that anybody who watched Had to pay attention and had to be struck by him. And his his wind up and delivery was like no one else is to write. It was indeed it was the famous satchel Paige pose, which was winding up. You could be a single a double or a triple windmill wind up and imagine what windmill does turning over and over. Satchel could pitch underhanded. He could pitch side arm and he could pitch his standard overhand. Whatever he was doing. It looked like his leg went so high up into the air that had blacked out the sky. His arm was so long that it looked like it was in the pictures face by the time he released the ball, and he had a kind of catapult release. That that sent the ball in its speeds that people they had no radar guns then, but that people said had to be at least 100 to 105 miles an hour. So amazing athlete, but a real performer and almost a circus act. Yeah, a circus act that understood that there was a thin line between entertaining a crowd and demeaning himself, and he would never take it to the point where he was doing anything to demean himself. But he also understood that Negro League baseball with something that to attract fans, and he attracted extraordinary numbers of fans record numbers of fans to attract fans. He had to be more than just a brilliant picture. You had to be showman as well. He was as sensational a showman. As I've ever seen, or read or heard about in the entire game of baseball, But let's talk about his early life he was born. What, 1906 Is that the established now that is the establishment is actually born on July 7th, 1996 in Mobile, Alabama coastal city where it's and it's interesting that you describe in the book that was a place of considerable racial tolerance and before the turn of the century, but but became a hard bitten and segregated place. Tell us a little about about kind of his his family in early life. Sure, he was one of 12 Children. He was the seventh of 12 Children in his early life was a situation where his dad was almost never around his dad with somebody who liked to call himself a landscaper. And what he in fact was Was a gardener and generally an unemployed gardener. His mom was a washerwoman who took in laundry from white families across mobile and tried to make a living, but with 12 miles to feed, and with no real help from her husband. His mom had a really difficult time. So all the kids from a very early age we're taught that they had to a get usedto having nothing and B for whatever they did have in terms of food or anything else. They had to go out and earn it themselves and he was out there. At the age of 9 10 11 at the railway station, doing things that a red cap would do. He was actually pulling people's bags. He was collecting a dime or 1/4 per bag. And that's where his name Satchel came from. He had discovered a system that he could use pulleys and ropes to carry 23 Sometimes even four bags at a time, and the way that he talked about where his name came from was that friends looked at it and said, You look like a walking satchel tree and the name stuck immediately. But as with everything with him, there were three or four versions of the story. There are also stories that you found of his skill at hurling things, even as a young kid, and that sort of brings up something that you wrote him, too. I'm sure again and again when you're researching his life is that that? He did such prodigious things at a time when there weren't the kind of records and videos and Internet stuff that there are now two document them. It must be hard. Two separate legend from fact, But But what did you come to believe about what he'd done as a kid that proved that proved he had an amazing arm. I came to believe that the stories that people told enough of them came from his friends who are eye witnesses and even taking account for all the embellishment Satchel did and other people did. I think he had an extraordinary ability. To aim a rock or a brick or a baseball and get it to its target with the kind of speed that was just beyond the pale. One of the things that he was able to do. As a kid was with Iraq. He was able to at the distance of a pitching mound knocked down a chicken. He was able to hit a square old. He was able to do extraordinary things, but he was best and he really showed his skills as a young boy. When he was part of a group of kids who live near him, and they'd take on rival gangs of kids and Satchel was famous not just for being able to hit the kid just where he wanted to, but in developing something that became his style when he became a picture later on what he called the hesitation pitch. If you were looking at the kids who you were trying to have this rock throwing contest with and if you threw the rocket them.

MLB Marks The 100th Anniversary Of The Negro Leagues

"Baseball is marking the anniversary of the Negro leagues created 100 years ago. The league's showcased black baseball players players who couldn't play on the major teams because of the color of their skin. Only a few members of the leagues are alive to celebrate the centennial Michigan radios, Doug Tribute spoke to the only surviving team owner and others about the legacy of the legendary leagues. In 1920 owners of independent black baseball teams from the Midwest gathered in Kansas City, Missouri. At that meeting they created the Negro National Leagues had no idea they were making history. They didn't care about making history. Bob Kendrick heads the Negro Leagues Baseball museum there, he says. Faced with segregation, black owners and players kept pushing for organized baseball. These athletes never cried about the social injustice. They went out and did something about so you won't let me play with you and I create my own And they did today. Stars like Josh Gibson, Buck Leonard and Satchel Paige are enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame, but thousands of black and Latino players endured bigotry and racist taunts. It was Tear before the players at that time. Many Forbes owned the Detroit Stars from 1956 to 1958. She lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that players try of them. They had nowhere to stay because of the discrimination, so they slept in the buses. And they couldn't go in places to eat so one person would go to the back door. When get food for all the players. Pedro Sierra pitched in the Negro leagues for several seasons in the 19 fifties. He grew up in Cuba and says it was tough to adjust to segregation and racism he saw in the US It wasn't easy to see all the problem with the raise. I know all about it, herb artist. But I hadn't experienced today. Sierra lives in New Jersey In 1954 he signed with the Indianapolis clowns at the age of 16. His salary was less than 5% of what white players were earning dollars a month a month, $100 a month. And I look back and say, Oh my God. Jackie Robinson played briefly in the Negro leagues. Then, in 1947 he broke baseball's color barrier with the Brooklyn Dodgers in Cleveland, Larry Doby became the first black player in the American League. Coming seasons brought many more signings. But many Forbes sympathizes with the many athletes who were good enough to play in the major leagues, but never got a shot. Unfortunately, some of the good players by the time the time Came. They were too old to play. The last league folded in the early 19 sixties, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum estimates there are about 100 former players still alive. Forbes is 88 worries about being one of the last left to tell the story. And I just want a if I'm worthy of represent and speaking about the Negro League because When I got involved, things was easier for me. Then it wass father one before me. Many Forbes will keep sharing her stories with younger generations and others will to Major League Baseball has a day to honor the league's set for next month. The museum has pushed back its year long celebration of the centennial to next year and renamed it Negro Leagues. 101

"You just created the new intro. And that's in their proceeding three for season three. Yeah so that's how I know he knows. That's how I didn't actually finish listening to the INTRO. Because I was at work and I didn't have headphones. Oh it was fantastic example here the last two minutes. That was like blank. Well yeah that's I told you can't cut it up and do that part. That was just a demo for you guys for no other guys for now. Rescue one twenty three minute marker. Thirty nine actually work I was playing warzone with risky and somebody else and I had it on my phone right here in front of me like a you watch your own. Podcast heard a little bit of it. That's fine not a big deal so John How's your back? My neck pain is pretty much gone. Starts a little bit when I do this but other than that market to get restricted duty nope duty. I just didn't go on the airplane for two days already. Don't you lie? You got restricted duty you get Nudie Fair Week FAC fair now. Snow on restricted duty. I drink too duty joke. What happens The airplane and I'm working on is in the where I need to work is in a really tight area It's only about this wide so I actually have to turn sideways to get in there and get down on one knee and then when I get in there. It's just really awkward and uncomfortable position. Nigel's mom through. I'm working this really awkward and uncomfortable position and after like beyond my knees and kind of leaning over and twisted and I can't really support myself. It's it's hard to describe. It's just an uncomfortable spot on on the bottom deck of a seven six seven of the very front where they have all the electrical tightest. Too tight space. Oh Yeah it's tight man. Blue wouldn't even help not even saying nope so yeah doing that for a week. Rebecca sucks gala comments. You know gas need to flex better now. I don't have any this week. So we're going to move onto random shit. You guys have any random shit this week. Yeah Yeah Okay Yeah. Okay all right Joe. Aw Look at that is there. It is the child. Iota Nice child comes next week. So are you worried about it? Those are worthless right so fucking cute. Just went to hold his little hands. Have you seen the House for that? Actually moves yeah. I keep seeing pop up on facebook. It's like sixty bucks. I think. Seventy bucks just junked. John Look at him. He's contemplating gift from the drones. Hasbro look the drones gave me six hundred bucks to finish my sleeve. She said note after she said you can get your sleeve. There's you're what the fuck what the Fuck my wife told me. I could finish my tattoo if the rest of this up here done that. I wanted to get done and then I told her how much it was going to cost. And she changed her mind What the fuck. John didn't even bring it up. She brought in yet worse. She's like you can finish that if you want to. What your tattoo like. Oh sweet so message my tattoo artists. Like hey this is what I WANNA do much. Is it going to cost to fix? You gave me the number. It's going to be this much. You're it's too much. You should have just told her and been like you said I could get it. I should not but she'll didn't damn dude she's like took that fishing pole with obeyed said is he can't jump any higher all. You can't get it old. You're on light duty. Not only duty eight so I this this might go on. What the fuck thing. Okay with a K. Seriously Okay Okay. Listening so the rumors right. Nfl memes have been passed around a rumors. Mirren Rogers Might Get traded to the Patriots right but really possibly okay. Yeah I was giving you shit about it. Your Buddy John was no. You're like look at the source. I just said source. That's all said source dot dot dot. I'm like it's NFL. Memes the real. Does it carry any weight so yet here? We are talking about as John. Mack Mackenzie Right John. Mckenzie was so okay anyway. No no John McKenzie. I remember that but this would kind of go along with my theory that if the Patriots did win with Aaron Rodgers and that means Tom Brady wouldn't be shit because Yeah I know this is what Bill Belichick is doing like. I said I don't have anything against the Organization the Patriots Okay? I just hate fucking Tom Brady because he doesn't deserve what he's got. That's you would hate fuck. Tom Brady he would ask his wife. Sorry good Lord were still no. I would not no no sorry. Yeah I hope. E roasts and Robertson. Hell and get sucked up by a hurricane down in Florida Holy Shit by somebody on bath salts. Yeah I'm okay. I was like five years ago. Now Basalt Josie. The poor man hasn't even played yet. And you're already tearing them apart. He could do that his own by sucking you know. But that's what I'm hoping for. Well I'm not for a second part football but honestly would be okay with. The Patriots made the playoffs in the Tampa. Bay buccaneers didn't not saying they're going to win the Super Bowl. But I'm saying if Aaron Rodgers went to the Patriots I would be okay with him winning and getting into the playoffs but losing to the chiefs or to the Ravens. I mean we already know already. Know what Aaron Rodgers is capable of without being in the Patriot system so I mean inevitably so they probably wouldn't make it to the playoffs with that kind of talent on their team. It's just like I said when I had that huge argument with. Emo I said you plug any other great quarterback into that system breeze or peyton manning or Aaron Rodgers. Hell you could even plug Jameis Winston into that system. I guarantee you. He'd probably get more wins and Tom Brady. We just imagine an Aaron Rodgers. Hail Mary at the end of a game with the refs on his side. It'd be the bat exactly Bazzar. Ferrets defense place on the half yard line anywhere would you guys think of the draft? Anybody Anybody Watch it. I did I watched first few days but that was it. I watched almost allies. The whole thing most of it. Yeah I booed goodell. 'cause you're supposed to get down part of it Everybody excited about their first round. Picks at all. Yeah Jalen rare. Yeah I am happy to. I'm excited for mine too. I couldn't believe Isaiah. Simmons fell to number eight. Let's I was like Holy Shit. That's good for us and our defense. Oh but yet this whole time you were complaining that you what is CD LAMB? I want to CD because it sounded like stay would take Simmons and Brown and a lot of these other defensive players but they went with two quarterbacks with two and Hubert which helped and then they started taking offensive line. Pretty quick too. So you know I was. I was like wow. I couldn't I thought defense was GONNA come usually. That's what happens. Defensive players. Come off the board faster they have a higher ranking because of their only eighth place. Yeah I mean we got a top five player in eighth place. He was considered top five. So I was pretty excited about that. Let's go Philadelphia. Jalen Mills Hurts Rigor Philadelphia. Jalen 's and go. I was also excited about Benjamin to at the end that pick number. Two twenty to the end of our picks was pretty solid to Sun Devil. So you know it was pretty good. And he's supposed to be who was supposed to go a lot higher than that so it's good to have monarchy. Jon Any thoughts go now go now. Okay see coach in. Gm know what they're doing the absolute done really well. Yeah always excited little sad that they let Justin Branco though they let Dustin Colquitt go. He's like the longest tenured chief. And they just let him go. So Dustin Colquitt Seville great punter cool. You guys got any other random shit. This week doolittle doolittle and again I was that I know Robert. Downey junior like had a weird accent in that movie and I was just Kinda like I don't know by a British or Australian or Hindu. What what kind of accent is that? What are you doing like I dunno? It was okay it was okay. Just okay movie. It was definitely a five dollar rental. That okay one one and done never again watched him in getting caught up. I'm caught up now with cone. Wars washed last year episodes Jeez wow malls back in this last season so It they're going to connect Clone wars somewhat to rebels so Chris don't worry because you don't watch any of the Animated Star Wars Shit but Ah Soco an mall. Had this epic battle. It goes up there with one of them the most epic lightsaber battles. They play duel of the fates. I didn't hear it. I didn't hear it but The title the episode was the Phantom Apprentice. So dark all trying to get so join him so but yeah it sounds familiar fucking awesome like they actually showed Ray Park. You could watch it on Youtube. He did live Live action mapping for this fight so when you're watching IT ON CLONE WARS. It's actually ray park fighting in In the C. G. so it's a really good episode. I don't think it's the finale yet But he kind of leads up to win. Atkin turns in Kazakh Mason hand. So yeah very very good. Very Good Kudos to Disney plus for that anybody else got anything negative nope Jones. You feel so as always stay to NAFTA The podcast. For if you're watching the stream to watch some of our videos that John has compiled as part of the more you know after the show the more you know after the show like that which he did there. Look what I did there. You beautiful son of a bit on this your beard too. Oh Yeah. It looks like Chris may have trimmed his beard off as well. Yeah trimmed up which now transfers the biggest beard title over to Mr Gel. That's weird it's weird. It's not growing long. It's just growing like four and I'm just like Miguel Chins probably longer than my whole face. Pointy a little devil. You little right sweet. Well I got demons God demons. You're my demons while you're demonic.

The freedom people have the freedom to do whatever they want to believe whatever they want to but when it comes down to you know choice you know it's just. I don't know like some people's minds aren't there as far as like why. I'd rather go to church with my congregation in my people in praise. God that way and possibly risk spreading this disease all at once. I mean they were trying to prevent large groups. Congregations They're not gonNA put a XS of duct tape on the pews. Or what are they GONNA do? Take half of the out of the Church That's I don't know I I just don't get it I don't get it. What the fuck. A lot of the religion able hands and stuff too. Bless me just super soaker hoses squirt everybody. Okay go home anyway. That's just my what the fuck is. Just how people have been just not thinking lately and part of me. Yeah the government's trying to they have these strict rules and they're saying that if businesses open up and don't abide by these guidelines that there's a twenty five hundred dollar fine and possibly ninety days in jail so for the business owners and people that aren't really abiding by these social distancing rules So everybody gripes about how well the government shouldn't control those. We need to be free but history has shown that the reason why the rules are in place is because people were fucking stupid. Jon Allen there Threatening to put people in jail for ninety days but in the state of Washington releasing criminals from prison to prevent the spread of the corona virus in prison. There makes a whole lot of no sense. It doesn't there's there's a lot of no sense used anywhere do see protests doocey said okay. Trump is coming to Arizona and in one of the reporters is like well. Yeah yeah but I mean like hanging out with other people yes see. I don't even. I haven't I haven't seen my mom's birthday which is March fourteenth. Because I just don't want to run the risk. The possible chance like I go to work. I deal with people that come up from Phoenix There's people I work. Says he goes to the grocery store. I don't even know if I've got it. I duNNo. She's got it. We haven't been tested. We're not showing symptoms but there's people that have it but don't show symptoms but I just don't want to run the possibility of me giving it to my mom or my aunt and having them die from it right. So that's why is this like a love you guys video phones? Zoom whatever I think Google has a new to to compete with zoom now Google not. Meat M. E. E. T. totally sons. I gimme a t I know I say Meat Grinder. God swiped to the left. That's my what the fuck Let me see what else that's it? I'm done that's it okay. Galligani what. Fox's week now I can't let the fuck anything doesn't just stuck at home. Does it hurt hurts. Maybe Winston hurts draft. I didn't I didn't watch the draft but I got messages from people talking about it and I'm like I don't watch college so I don't even know what hurts plays. Oh He's a quarterback. Okay we can be the next style. Breezing tastes Um Hill could be. I'm not opposed or breezing Winston. Yeah ooh yeah breeze. We'll see what happens. Jalen hurts and always hurts science fantasy team name. That's good. That's good football thing. Yeah I think they're gonNA have something they're probably going to do it without people in the stands my guess. I'm not opposed to that. We have a lot of like starting the season late and going to end of February or something I saw. I heard about that too. I saw that I also saw the fact that the CDC President or whatever his name is Fuji Guy. Whatever his name he's saying. We may not even have sports this year. I don't want that to happen. That's going to be the shitty part of this whole thing like if it happens it happens but it's still like a just like we need that right now. You Know Hey said just means that the chiefs are Super Bowl champions. The last football team to be champions wasn't he's not cool. Yeah fantastic. Quarterbacks can use a lear. You lose the year off his career. You don't want that I I can die a happy man now. My won the Super Bowl. That's all I wanted to see the teams that I wanted to see when the ship they all did not ready to die. Joe Might Rent Angels One ducks one. Yes monkey the ducks I love. What is it that there's diseases that can affect animals and diseases that can affect humans but there are very rare cases where the diseases fuse and affect Both win called Zu Zu on a mix. I don't remember what it was and drinking. I don't care but it's basically if if a disease kind of like the swine flu if disease it was meant to affect pigs frost contaminates and gets a mixed with the human flu. That's what happens in an Giang Bird Flu Bat flu or cove in nineteen whatever. China China Chinese flu. That's what I call it. Chinese flew the Wuhan. I do have another. What the fuck. "So this week. I don't have a lot of the more you know. I just I wanted to go over. The don't say bracket don't say bracket don't say bracket bracket Joe Touched a little bit on the duty. Update Right Dan. We've talked about anything specific. I don't remember a guy so I have the infinity Ward Post. They have on their website for the updates. There are some key things that they did that. I'm not sure everybody enjoys. You can now carry eight armor plates if you get an armor plate. Thing if you get the Satchel yes you can carry eight armor plates. It's look it's called. It's called a Satchel. Rachel says Satchel The downside is they nerf the armor plates so instead of being a hundred and fifty health points are only a hundred points. Yes so people are dying a lot quicker. Yeah it's GonNa take some getting used to be a dialogue quicker to care but it's more satisfying when I'm pulling the trigger and I'm emptying a half a clip into somebody and they're still crawling around like what the fuck I was watching a streamer today. And he played for ten hours. I didn't watch all ten hours because I don't have that much time But after he played for about four five hours he kept going over the things that you'd notice changed Fuck I can't remember loves just thinking of it. So the armor plates there they got nerve D- Oh there's not The blue boxes don't always have money in them. Always have money before they were they. Five hundred now. That's like hit miss away from what he said. It's your there. It seems like trying to challenge teams to work together. More instead of one person hoarding money which I feel like we do a pretty good job of sharing money would be vice stuff. I like to buy my own stuff. Okay sometimes you don't mean fucking load out drop because it's already been seven minutes sitting there and one's GonNa drop as soon as we buy one anyway. Fuck you Joe. Stop pointing at me. They fixed some bugs So before when you had the dead silence Con Pro. You couldn't stop while they fixed that so now you're able to stuff. Have you want to check out the all of the patch updates? You can go to infinity to infinity ward's website and check them out Pretty cool stuff and some things like I don't know about that They did say they fixed the issue for the after Action Report. Miguel so hopefully it is no longer broken. Good also apparently. There's a glitch where you can get an easy in the GOLOB. I don't know if I can fixed. I don't see that no shit risky rescue said me and monkey found the statute but you still have to armor plates duck just to carry more armour not doesn't auto failure armor that doesn't come with any armor in it. It's a bag. It's a Satchel it actually. Yeah he did say though. Slow you down a little bit there. You go heavy sacks slow you down low ZOA joke areas. They'll mg so he can you imagine l. g. with a Satchel? Now you're going to be stationary. So yeah that's just some of the things that I witnessed. "So yes sweet. Let's see other than that Trying to think what else was there. The News Oh yeah. Good luck with the modern warfare. Skin the obsidian skin for your guns Seems like it's outrageous to get the obsidian skiing so well to get all of them. Well yeah but I mean so from what I've Read. You don't have to do every single day. It's just you have to get fifteen. Kills in two hundred two hundred times in a man for for for the Assault Rifles SM. I think one hundred or one hundred fifty And then like rockets you have to take out kill streaks Yeah it's it's ungodly but all that work you've gone through to get what Damascus or gold Now they've added Obsidian as well so not doing it. I don't have a need to but sorry Elder scrolls a rumor and won't be out to a quarter for twenty twenty four so we got a while. But they're saying a large scale battles as far as hundred N. P. C.'s battling at the same time And ship battles in black flag and Odyssey as well so looking forward to that especially on the series X. That's all I got this sweet. All right we're GONNA move on over to the dates demonic. Are you ready Buddy Does anybody really care anyway. Demaim steets keeping us on track with what video games are coming out soon.

"It Call Duty Update is out now. Fifteen gigs download To get the second part at his age You have to go to multi player and try to activate the multiplayer mode and then it'll download the DLC so tunnels like eighteen gigs on mine. Because I did the DLC back and whatever get it let's see last of us? Two does have released eight. Yeah we didn't cover this last week. is June nineteenth. Last of us were part two so Next to throw loss of US part one on your doorstep for you know I'd rather play through assassin's creed again. Well it's GonNa take me that long in assassin's creed 'cause I know where to go for all the shit so I don't know he to go. No promises. So Horizon Cereal dumb to is going to feature co op in gigantic world and updated I think as a as of today or yesterday it's going to be a trilogy. So you will have arisen zero don one two and they're gonNA make a third one so guerrilla games get it and then they'll go back to red faction if only I loved red faction with the destructible environments lock. Yeah that was a great game. Speaking of Great Games cyberpunk twenty seventy seven the rating leaks scores it at eighteen plus why because their sex drugs and deaths of what is it is it. The is that the peg eighteen European rating. Or whatever it is so it's GonNa be mature here. I was hoping for an adult rating. Not for nudity or anything like that well maybe for the sex anyway It will ledge alleged lease features `leggies intense sexual relations Nudity Prostitution sexualization sexual language. Sexual Pleasure Mint an intense sexual relationship. Whose severity was aggravated by scene composition. you get other. Sexual Mini Games. I I don't know. Also featured in some way our scenes including suicide cruelty intentional death and exposure to death corpse so and in the lead quest designer Powell's SASCO responded to the leak on twitter writing. You surprised question mark. We don't fuck around get is that like necrophilia is that what's supposed to mean. Eczema to death corpse. Yeah that's what it is to be honest. I don't know maybe if somebody's tea bagging dead body and you just see that like all bomber jacket about it. Run Deep Yeah Steph. So why are you shaking your head? That would seem to me that that would be a pretty big stretch for a video game that go out that They're not fucking around that. Say John Hope you got a lock on that door behind. You Know Dan you can. I don't think I don't think that it'd be putting this on the switch. No I bet you. They still will though slope. Put that shit on their. That'd be my way to four for three weeks of it happens Cyberpunk twenty seventy seven released September seventeenth worldwide on PC PS four and xbox one. Take my money exactly buck in? Take my money Speaking of taking my money or Ubisoft has taken my money. Because I pre-ordered watchdogs legion. And it's now going to release alongside. Ps Five in the XBOX series X. So I have my first game for the series x already paid. For who so? Yeah walks watchdogs legion. Look for that Let's see two K. Has announced a weird cartoon wrestling game. Wwe TO K- battlegrounds and they've also announced that they are no longer making the two K. Wrestling Games at least twenty twenty. They're not gonNA make Think nope sorry. They're not working on twenty twenty one either. Well yeah they fucked up the last one so badly. Yes so this one looks like they're like little little retarded figures cartoony and it's supposed to be like blitz where the trailer shows the rocks are in Johnston into an alligator's mouth and whatever looks like a switch title anyway Yeah that's it. I wouldn't even around with that one. Seventy six is getting pets Leonard come out they are getting pets and waistlines does allow you to have companions So but we will now have a companion and a pet so hopefully. What does it meet bag? "Actually curious to hear from Arthur from Canada. It says that you're going back to Nigeria to visit family for the first time since coming out and they have a plan to save your soul you. WanNa talk about that. Oh Yeah How you guys doing hi. I'm sorry this is Jen. You're on with bill you guys doing. We're dead head death perhaps but we're rate actually amazing. I'm the first caller. But thank you so I came to Canada about five years ago and I'll like religious back then. You have an argument with me about Jesus Christ. I was like that too. Yeah so I came to Canada and visit my eyes open because physically you know. Niger is just like Half Christian half Muslims. That person is a demon Wow but came to Canada in Other cultures and Just engines you know and people who don't just believe in anything and I was like. Wow under such good people and I'm like couldn't all bags are going to help anybody that doesn't believe in? Jesus is going to hell so it doesn't make sense. Is that question in everything on Danino here. I am today. Congratulations this. This was a well. I've been for about two years you know. I kinda down for five years like I said so anyway So now I'm going to Niger and I mean I came out to my parents because I I went to dislike Phase where I was just mad at everything I feel like half my life. Most of my life was taken away. Yes I thought this exact same way. Yeah so I was just pissed so anytime anybody wanted to have a conversation about it. I would literally be in that conversation and just argue and thanks to your show. I learned to lots so I just euro documents land from the show and also from my personal research and older who have it but at this point. I'm just like you know tired of it now. I'm going back home where my dad. Who recently disown me? Because of it he came back. And we're going to have a conversation here on this show where you know you usually say you know you don't have to have the conversation you can change the topic and whatnot the different the different by belanger where You cannot say no. Who's taking things I? I know it's kind of hard to explain. No going back to visit for a couple of hundred visit. I'm getting back to this. How long are you visiting? Nigeria for about two weeks okay. Who will well one possible strategy that no one else would tell you. 'cause I'm just weird like that is it's a it's a. God Damn Miracle You're born again just short circuit the whole damn thing. Go back raised. Jesus whatever you gotTa do and then two weeks come back to Canada. Oh Yeah I mean. That was assaulted. Wow I didn't think that solves it? That's like Dowdy like going to church and all this money devotion shit I mean. You're you're making the effort to call and you're worried about not even going on the trip because you already know how bad it's going to be. I mean you. You know your family better than I ever will cost setup for me they. They like to call the Pasta to the House villa. Like you could just fix all that right before you go just put on facebook that you're born again and make sure they see it and go and go to service to go talk to the pastor benefit if you want to have real fun turn on the recording. App On your phone record the conversations and bring it back with you. We'll we'll we'll put him on the show. Maybe Oh okay. Yeah I mean you gentlemen have a different strategy. Mean well okay so so to each his own. You know if you WANNA do that. I'M NOT GONNA I'm not GonNa Stop View but you want to know what I would do. I know I couldn't personally do that. Because I'm just the kind of person that I can't misrepresent myself like I switched from being life to pro choice Pretty quickly and it took me a couple of days while I was like. I have to come out about this because everybody knows that I'm pro-life and I feel like I'm living under this false pretense if I don't tell everyone and so I couldn't do that but in addition along the situation that I'm in right now with my family You know if we're getting together for Christmas or actually. I have my families getting together for a tea party soon. It's like a tea party. The women on my family have an annual tea party. And it's actually it's actually really cool But when we have these family gatherings if they were to tell me I mean. They haven't told me that they're going to try to change me or bring a minister and to try to deconverting or anything and I still have trouble going back there simply because I have trouble having conversations with them at all Because of this this toxic household that. I grew up in and I'm not saying that it's toxic because of the people but because of the system because of this this Dynamic about how this authority figure and and everybody else has to do with. There's only one way to do things so I already have trouble going and seeing my family without some kind of exorcism threatening me. You do realize that if they do some kind of exorcism things can go very wrong and they have lon-wrong for people in the past won't so what do you think they're gonNA. What are they going to? Do they just going to have a sit down? Talk is not. It's not surprising excess. Because yeah we know that though you know yeah I know The I call it coach by came from the this basically Christianity. It's called but like they're probably going to sink down and Does a bunch of things like Jesus loves you and You know need to come back to those. What about all these? Are these things that Jesus did for you. He made you go to Canada. I made you have the job. You have Blah Blah Blah and How good you man that he sent you to Canada. Yeah Yeah Well. One of the arguments. The only the only thing is that the only thing is that temper so sought and I can't say no because doing let me. I'm going to be living with them. So I'M GONNA I'm GonNa have to have these conversations where he's always going to end up with US fighting. I was just two weeks. You know what I mean. That's the thing is do. You actually have to go. Can they physically force you onto that plane crew? I want to go tonight for other reasons. No religion okay. I haven't seen him in five years so it would be worth it to you. Would it be worth it to you too? If let's say goes horribly as you can imagine because I don't know your family I don't know how bad it can possibly get so imagine the worst case scenario is it worth it to you to go and I would. I would go with that. Well even wanted to go because you know I mean family friends and actually I don't miss the country and all that but you know I I can definitely understand where you're coming from where it is probably know what but like you know. I guess I have to deal with it. You know I mean if it's just GONNA be uncomfortable put put up with it. Try to be as Nice as you can try to change the subject And live through it as long as you're convinced there's really no physical harm or mental harm. That's GONNA call okay. Then you know then I just run away right right as long as you're safe then I would say that whatever you feel like you need to do is what you need to do. You know if you feel like you need to go go if you feel like you know to something holding you back. I'd say go with that. You know a you know your family better than I do. Yeah yeah thanks. I'm well I'm okay. By one last it will take time thing. Okay so So like I said when I when I come back and everything I really I realized something about myself. Not just the religious aspect just from everything I I kind of question everything right so something happened like my dad. He asked me was the we knew that was was he asked me on a family group. Satchels like What did you think about what you think about God? I physically because I was so angry that time I was like I don't I don't keep it in about Jesus and I don't I don't I have no reason to believe that. A good exist I and then she instantly said Consider yourself disowned But then back in the day when I hit the word disowned. It was his big thing. Yeah but then when you say this time I was like okay. You know what I mean that I just don't I kind of. Don't give a shit about a lot of things now. Yeah and I'm worried that I mean the food. Great like I feel free the right word I feel free from like even thinking about things like hell all well even like disowning. That was so big to me on my dad. Just me yeah go to shoot me anymore. How do you actually been disowned? If they're paying for you to come back Home Oh you came back. Came back around okay. Well that's good. That's really good. I actually had a similar situation where I had Moved in with a boyfriend right after high school and He was a Catholic boy But we moved in together and I was disowned as well and for me it was like a big deal and then it was like you know what whatever I'm GonNa do whatever I WANNA do. I was taken back and later on something else happened. The family and my dad was like. Oh if you do if you tell anybody about this I'll disown you and then at that while you know what so the question is the question is like this feeling of not really caring by love things? Yeah and as the disown thing and I know also the Stuff like coconut people is so easy for me to just kind of people you know. We haven't this conversation and you know you talk about what I do. Respect my views. I'm like it's so easy for me right now to do. Yeah well. One question of can turnaround a bike to ask. Will you know? Maybe Yeah Sometimes I. I'm I'm a believer that there are some times where it's necessary to burn bridges and the one time just to just to pull out an example out of nowhere. When I was waiting tables I kept bouncing between restaurant and restaurant in restaurant and I kept going back to this restaurant back to that restaurant and after a certain point I realized I really don't need to be working in restaurants anymore so I need to allow myself to stop creating these. It's so easy to go back into it. You know so. It's kind of up to you when you need to burn bridges One thing maybe does your family think that God is all powerful and can do anything. Oh yeah definite Then you should inform them that You will genuinely seek out God and let him do his job and they can't possibly do a better job and they might actually be trying to thwart God's will and that It's up to him and they should Let go and let God do his thing and God God will fix you if he wants to come back with an argument like well we to do our parts might. You're GonNa reminds me that you can do straight assist them on them. Have you looked up street epistemology yet by Through Anthony MAGNABOSCO channel on Youtube. Have you heard of that? It's basically a way of questioning to where you're not telling anybody anything you're asking questions and it's a way of kind of exposing to the person that's doing the talking that they don't actually know what they're talking about at times And sometimes they do know what they're talking about but this this kind of questioning will basically exposed if they if they have an idea of how they verify things that are true or not.

Travel to Northern Pakistan

"Like to welcome to the show. David Harden from travel worn SATCHEL DOT com. Who's come to talk to us about northern Pakistan? David welcome to the show. Thank you Chris. Thank you at least to be. Your accent is clearly not one from northern Pakistan. We're talking T- well you're in the UK. Near Windsor what led you to Pakistan give you the shortened version. But when I was eighteen. I decided to travel overland from the UK to Australia. And I could as far as Afghanistan before you realized you'd run out of land. It was not in the Russians. Got In the way so yes. Well the happens doesn't it tells away two years and decided that still WanNa girl on the Silk Roads still interested Islamic culture and art and architecture and filling in the gaps. Ever since. I've sort of done Australia and Southeast Asia and all of Europe and a few of the songs but Pakistan is always there the one that I needed to to tick off really well in you chose northern Pakistan on this particular trip which as we were talking before hand you said is quite different from southern Pakistan and that would be a whole different trip. North and south is very different. I mean the north. It's cooled in those areas and they three huge mountain ranges. So you have the to the West. You have the Hindu Kush in the sense of you have the character forms and then surrounded on the north and east by the Himalayas. And they're absolutely wonderful mountain ranges but as you get further south. Islamabad where I flew into the great trunk. Road becomes planes. Sunset becomes desert would way down to Karachi New Arabian Sea. So yeah very two distinct areas. Shall we start them in? Islamabad actually just flew into Islamabad as bad as modern city. One of the interesting says the city right next to it as well. Andy which is the ancient city but Islamabad is the modern city Pakistan pill. Much longer grid lines are easy to navigate. I would say that actually just before I started this trip on originally planned to buy a motorbike in Islamabad an travel up through the Karakoram highway and then head off into various places. I'd read about in various books to say that I spoke to that is a big Pakistan community here in the UK. And I have up the friends one. Who's a Kashmiri? And he said well to be honest. I know you're motorcyclist but the roads are something else and I would recommend a jeep at least so you'd better listen to this sort of thing. They listen to him and I got myself a cheap and a guide to me actually at Islamabad airport. I spoke at the moment number weeks number of months. Really sending out my tinman. He can find out about what I want to and that was great and so I had this a jeep drive and I have to say it was probably the best decision. I made an enormously. I would travel alone and make my way round but I think this would have been a journey too far. How did you find a jeep and a driver a Kashmiri gentlemen here in the UK who promotes northern Pakistan but wonderful gentleman and he put me in touch with Earth's people over the and I came up with one Sean who you turn out to be absolutely brilliant and good thing was that. He's his the Chinnery but often is not. We will turn off the rodent gun sale. This liquid interesting here. I suggest we don't do this. And I think the question slips or went what about safety because one sure yeah this image of cool so Pakistan and especially the northern areas and you know I I thought of the trip I plan was to go up towards promised so and Eko took care of it. Sometimes Chris when you meet someone. They have absolute confidence. That you've made a really good decision. They already felt towards the back end of the trip. We ended up in a shallow. He said near the Afghanistan border he said had I gone two weeks earlier suggested shallow harassed security reasons and it's nice having someone who has local intelligence so to speak and he was always on his phone is always checking where we were not set up. There wasn't one time the only time was rather Longley wanting planted in someone's house and it was an old soldier. I didn't notice but his granddaughter sent his granddaughter all and having a cup of tea with him dump. She walked in with this shotgun undecided K. And he said I started brandishing. The shotgun around me and I was okay Maybe I made a mistake too much of a price to pay for a cup of tea but it turned out that he wanted to show me the gun which was made in combat nineteen sixty in Birmingham the UK because as from the UK and then he was crowded this so I mean that's the momentarily. I felt unsafe that that was it. That was the extent to how I felt and say in Pakistan excellent now you said as I said Islamabad. You said that's a modern city. It sounded like in your tone I was hearing so I didn't spend a lot of time Islam Abbad. I was more interested in the mountain. I sort of pasta very quickly. In fact which we left about an hour nine did we did come back so actually to see Faisal mosque. Okay which is a really beautiful most very modern initiative about nine thousand nine hundred and again a very very beautiful most news in the foothills of the Himalayas. It's great visit down as the last place of his. But I'll tell you about that. I if I may so folks in about nine thousand nine hundred. Eighty eight defies most because in Faisal of Saudi Arabia. Stunt up the hundred and twenty million dollars. Us to build it as one does the money partly he fis but what is interesting is he. Made a competition to will be architects. Come up with the design. Took you shocked. The name one is an Basti. The whole architecture on a Bedouin. Tent shot was pretty interesting in the appealed to King Faisal and he's a magnificent structure because it's like an eight sided tend to really doesn't like a tent and so big on this enormous white marble and gray marble and you just see it for miles driving towards thinking okay. Looks Okay and something. You just don't know the ten minutes down the road you think. I'm sure I should have been by now this grid system of Islam about so you go up. It's the end of the road unless they just ended up votes off the Bat. So twenty minutes you eventually get close to it and then you start to really appreciate the enormity of small the structure and get three hundred thousand people praying ally inside. I think it's ten thousand but with the porticos and the data coca grounds. You've got three hundred thousand people. Pray there and it was real highlight. Visit every interested in style of architecture. But one thing is that if people do visit to you have to take your shoes and men and this white marble and greyish sort of marble and it wasn't a particularly sunny hot day but every time I stepped off the white mob wants the gray marble. My feet wants to get an angle for a pit shuttle. Take a shortcut to the record. My feet was scolded eventually got in as well but that just finished prayer and like go up to the main entrance to get inside to have a look at this incredible space inside and they said No. I'm sorry you can't come in and I said well look. I sort of come with away from London. See this is. This is typical of buckets. Johnny people that they will try and be as helpful as possible really nice and he said okay look you should really go with this young man and he spoke to the man order when we rolled around the back this young man to be around the back and there was a back door and he took my camera with me. He said look no pitches inside and just tap a low. I thought this really really nice touch and again to tread on the carpet I saw rob and really nice and re serene place children. Having lessons and really great atmosphere. I came back and said I gave him my camera and come back and I was sort of going to complaints because everyone in that had come phones. So fees and pitches thinking well. I was lucky enough to be let in so I wasn't going to push that but really worth of visit. This is a lot of history to this place. That modern architecture ignace absolutely stunning in the surroundings of the hills with the backdrop of the foothills of the Himalayas. It's a

"Which is not to satchel. I don't have that. Either. I'm just saying if there was a health benefit to it, would you do it, Scott, I suppose, I could be conned into doing it. Yes. Okay. With a puppy. Where's the pop? You. Couldn't do it with a class though. What with a puppy if there was a group of people with puppies. Yes. I would do it with puppy. Really? Yeah. You got a puppy. I'll do it. Okay. Craig Collins, you heard it. Save the audio. Yes. That's a dangerous way to go about life. Ten people with puppies. Robinson a yoga mat? And this is the first. Viral video of two thousand nineteen for this show. The other listen to this other story about this Chihuahua. This is in Arkansas. This is terrible. It is. But the dog lives. Okay. But the audio and I played it earlier. Just because this guy such a jerk usually like eight cops deserve more credit than they get for the most part. Good people risking their lives every day. Don't get enough credit. That's not to say, there's not some bad cops out there there. Are we all know that? Yes. This is one on display. Because this guy is called about it an aggressive dog. It's a Chihuahua mix. And you'll hear this isn't the guy that's taking the video you here. It's not even his dog be here. How this whole thing goes down. Okay..

"And I'm still at the global pedic's though was super smiley. And I'm sitting inside a silver airstream with Gordy spader the founder of curb go. Hi, gordon. Hi, how are you doing? Great to have you guys in here. I five this is crazy. Make sure everyone understands an airstream. This is from the nineteen fifties or something this particular one is from nineteen sixty nine so and it's a lightweight trailer. This one happens to be twenty feet long. They call it the land yacht, and we bought it about I don't know how many years ago maybe five or eight years ago and renovated the inside of it puts a my Kia cabinets in it. And it's the kitchen has gone the, but it's really meant as a trade show booth. Only is so cute and it's silver outside. It looks like silver aluminum, it is it looks like I'm a little retro spaceship or somewhat hundred percent. It's very rich. It's very eye catching people know us for the airstream. And and they really love the cute. And the reason you have this probably is because your brand is all about pet trout. That's right. So it's camping. It goes with getting out with your dog going places with your dog. So it's really all synergies they're together. So great, and Gordon I met several years ago through Toyota smiling, and I were spokes team for Toyota's. Safe pet travel, and you had all of your harnesses, tell us a little bit about your line. Yes. So the line really starts with traveling with your dog. Like, I said and really having your dog be say so how to protect your dog, and then how to protect your car. So she covers and things like that everything has a lifetime warranty. So it's really good quality. And then we've moved from there into carriers which will talk about in a little bit and other things for being outside with your dog. So that'd be like, really awesome leashes. And collars, things you really want like a run. Yeah. You really need their gadgets and gear and suffered being out with your dog. I love it. And and you've been on my show before we've talked about Curgel, many many times, lots of pictures 'cause I use your products in my car is a matter of fact, let me just say that smiley actually was in a car accident last April, and he was harnessed up. So that helped him not be as injured as badly as thank you. Thank you. That's what we love to hear. We love to hear the story. You know, the the hardest is are not expensive. Just a matter of getting in the habit of doing it. Right. Right. And I did another one of our dog is with the university of Georgia state farm was our sponsor in one of our tips was we had a cargo product that I talked about and then the ladies the state farm, ladies, they said keep them in the backseat harnessed up there. So that's awesome. That's good to hear. Yeah. So Gordy what? Caught my eye is this cool little backpack. This is the coolest thing what does this tell? So this is the g train using it ends a backpack for human cherry around dogs that are under eighteen pounds. It's a really awesome piece. I mean, it is it's really looks awesome. It's bright red. You can see it. Maybe they're on the picture, and it is has all kinds of things for keeping your dog in here. A little way to tether, the man it also has a place to store your laptop or your whatever else you're carrying with you. And it's got awesome straps. That are all padded to put over your shoulders. You can clip the straps, and you can put them in to make it more of a bag. And then it's got on the bottom. What we call our armor soul bottom, which is super lightweight. But also keeps water out from coming in. And it keeps water from if you have a leakage issue from going out onto the other. It looks like it's it's made like a bucket for lack of a better word. So if something were to spill inside it's not going to drip out all over your so far. Yeah. And it's got it'll go on an airplane. It's small and it's like a regular backpack. So be small enough to go on an airplane underneath see MRs. Just awesome people loving it here. Now, what is the name of this is called the G train G train? Awesome. And do you have a website also where people can go and look at these things. Sure. So this is a brand new item. So not quite out yet, but curb dot com. So that's K U R GO dot com dot com and everybody knows super spy are big fans were always promoting Kirkdale. And this is cool to this like a satchel that I love the material what is this? So this is a similar this also has an armor. So by this is a career style bag. So it's like a messenger bag that you put over your shoulder, and it has a strap to do that. And also buckle in the dog. This is also bright red and. Carrier. It's a dog hair. Yeah. Yeah. So the dog goes in here has a removable liner. So you can wash that if you happen to have an accident. And it's it's just a really nice piece as well. I love your products because they are so well thought out and do I remember correctly that your brother is an engineer who helps you design the yes. So my brother is an indus- who I found the business with is an industrial designer went to the Pratt institute in Brooklyn, New York. And so he's the designer had designer of all of our products.

What youll get with Warriors hall pass

"You're listening to the spoken edition of the San Francisco Chronicle. What you'll get with warriors hall pass. What if every pro and college team in the bay area puts donation boxes at the entrances giving every fan the chance to drop in one dollar for fire relief, no way, this would happen. But if the raiders had the chats, how fast would they trade Derek Carr straight up for Jimmy Garoppolo all anybody really wanted from car last week was a my bad a simple admission that he made a huge mistake by grounding a pass on that fourth and fifth play late against the chargers. He had to at least lofta floaty in the general direction of anyone in raiders gear. Everybody knows that was a mistake. Almost everybody genius. Bruce Jenkins idea of holding the NBA all star game team choosing just before the game at the arena. Such brilliant thinking by Jenkins is not surprising. I'm pretty sure he invented the twenty four second clock. Small suggestion to augment Jenkins idea paint the court to look like cracked blacktop. Hey raiders. You know? Okay. Is going to sue you. So why wait make plans now to play all your home games next season in London? You won't have to deal with the Hayden apathy. You would be sure to experience in Oakland. And every week you'll play an opponent throw enough kilter by the time change and travel. Once again, the NBA is light years ahead of other pro leagues in moving toward gender equality in hiring officials just as they were and are in hiring minority coaches the league signed two more female refs. And now three the NBA summer league featured several female refs, if you wanna work toward fairness, you have to work toward fairness, speaking of a quality, how can President Trump award Babe Ruth medal of freedom and not give one to satchel page page at a similar stature and cultural impact though, much of it was lost on white America. Remember left? Yo duels, the great hoffbrau sports bar and as baseball strike near union square that venerable joint close two years ago, but springs to life Tuesday at fisherman's wharf. It remains to be seen how much of the charm transfers over. But owner Nick Bovis is really hanging all the historic photos. Plus a lot more stuff. Nick says he wants to be a place to go to have a good memory. Lebron James passed the late Wilt Chamberlain last week on the NBA's all time scoring list when I contacted wilt for a comment he didn't say anything just smiled and held up a piece of paper with a big one hundred scrawled on it, the raiders owner in an exclusive interview with ESPN said, I always look in the mirror and the buck stops with me. It should be noted that Davis was responding to a question about the raiders long run of failure not to a query about haircuts. Davis also said of he and general manager Reggie McKenzie. We've gotta look in the mirror and figure out where the hell did we go wrong in trying to build this thing? So in the search for solutions to the teams deep problems an important tool will be mirrors and maybe smoke.
