"And so he is really observing things and talking about them and he and Jupiter have what's called a semi sextile. They're both in signs they like, and so they're swapping information too. So there's a lot of information swapping going up in the heavens. So when we see that, we're like, okay, what is the day? What is this about? Why are they, why do they talking about up there? What are they sharing? So when we look at the sun this week, the sun goes from 12 capped 1920 cap. The beginning of the week is kind of quiet. But he does have his parallel with Mars and Pluto and the parallel with Mars is on the third and the parallel with Pluto was on the fourth. So those are connections and linking that has shown at times in violence. People shooting people in the stores and stuff like that. As Mars is violence and Pluto is the underworld, but hopefully it's the positive form is people making decisions about the direction of their life and the changes they're making. The sun also has a stressful aspect to the nodes of fate on the 5th of January, asking him to make some important choices. Now remember, the nodes are getting ready to wrap up their 18 months. So they've been talking to all the planets over the last 18 months and teaching them Sagittarius is teaching and mercury is saying, well, let's have a new ideas. And of course, it's going from complicated, Jupiter and satch towards simple Neptune or Gemini. Let's break it down, take the big concepts and break it into the smaller parts, break it into understandable communication, transfer and knowledge, right? So let it knowledge transfer and going on with this last 18 months. We also have Venus, of course, as I mentioned before meeting up with the sun and the sun also has a sex tail to Athena on the 8th. So the sun Venus conjunction sex tiles Athena and Pisces and so she's opposite or she's in working aspects are with the Venus and the sun. So Athena and Pisces is kind of strategic vision. So there's a really nice energy this week for figuring out your strategic vision. Venus this week runs from she's retrograde and remember, she's going from 21 back to 18 and a half. And she has a sex doll with Athena on the 9th. The sun has his sextile in the 8th. Venus has also meeting up with Juno, the planet of partnership. There's a lot of energy and Capricorn wanting to partner wanting us to partner and Venus also has a sextile to Neptune, which is encouraging us to figure out what our dreams are and she also is parallel to Saturn. So she and Saturn are on the same level. Again, a secret relationship because she's in Capricorn. He's an Aquarius, but they're on the same degree of latitude. There's a lot of secret relationships going on in the heavens. Or aha moments, like I had with the vaccinations. Like when we start I was saying it to somebody. I said, you know, when you tell somebody they was talking to a friend of mine who was a teenager, is giving her teenager behavior. And I said, yeah, but when you boss them around and you tell them what to do, he's not going.

"So he's going to activate Pluto then and kind of get him moving. And we also have Neptune moving forward now, so that's kind of full steam ahead. This week, two of the features are mercury, squaring Neptune, which takes place on December 7th. And the sun squaring Neptune, which takes place on December 12th. So mercury and the sun both wearing Neptune and Pisces, they're going to activate. The other leg of that minor grand trying. So they're going to say, hey, my vision is this. And then Neptune's going to go, what's your vision? And then he's going to flow the energy towards the minor grind trying and send it water. Send it nurturing, like when you have a plan that's a little dry and you pour water on it and then it kind of perks up and it goes, oh my God, I got water that's so great. Thank you so much for the water. So the energy is very potent this week. And I just really encourage you to use it to your best advantage. So the aspects of closing aspects are all pretty good except for the moon in the moon and Aquarius, which is December 7th through the 9th, but that's a moon in Aquarius square Mars in Scorpio. So it does trigger that Mars and get it moving. But it also does it from a slightly detached place. So sun this week goes from 13 sag to 21 sad and it doesn't have a whole lot of aspects. It does have some health stuff on the 8th and 9th kind of becoming aware of health things. And it also has some clarity when it has a bi quintile on the 9th Uranus. So it's got a creative clarity. And then of course, on the 12th, the sun squares Neptune. So that's sometimes that's an emotional overly emotional day, but it also has an element of sentimentality. But with both mercury and the sun squaring Neptune, there can still be reveals. Remember, we're still in eclipse season for another two weeks. Mercury this week goes from 16 sag to 29 satch. So it is really flowing along, going pretty quickly. He has, as I mentioned, the square to Neptune on the 7th, he also has a little bit of an argument with Saturn on the tenth and an adjusting energy on the tenth from the Venus and the Pluto, where he gets told. Well, I know that's a great idea, but there's some limits to it. Take the limits, listen to them. You don't have to agree with them. Just hear them out. And kind of note them. And then he has sextile to Jupiter at the end of the week on the 11th, which the sun will have next week. But that's also mercury sex selling Jupiter is kind of an expansive energy. Venus this week has going through the aeris Pluto square, she is going to be squaring eris on the 7th and then she is going to be meeting up with Pluto on the 11th..

Hostgator dot com slash mixer g What was it about the product that allowed in the early days to feel proud. When did you add to it. That you feel proud of Just the speed of innovation you know being able to to create that and you know as a simple products i remember showing it to your routine active campaign and ilk. Gosh my customers can use this in. So what do we create. I think it was just it was. It was a combination of all of all of that. Just really simple problem early on which was being able to add. Sms to a workflow and then creating those conversations you know we had customers from all over All of the us in in all different types of industries so they were solving all different use cases the altercation to Appointment reminders. And everything between and you know when when people are excited about it and they're telling you than the than that's exciting and also having a team to to help solve those problems but when you say that it had those integrations with Infusion soft and active campaign it was if when you're collecting contact information from people the form would also ask eat in addition to an email address. A phone number. The phone number would get stored where sales message or get stored with infusion soft active campaign in the other companies. Yes so go through their marketing automation. That's a active campaign or fusion. Soft form and then that would just through Through h. c. t. p. post through saw. Send that through sales message. Outbound that text message. Then if people reply there's an interface to go back and forth on this conversation's a god. It caught it just just like now i can say after. Three interactions send somebody of the specific fourth email. I could say after. Three interactions cinnamon sms and then if they respond to sms instead of them getting a sorry. This is a one way communication channel they get the message comes to my web page reminder phone and other people in my team we respond back and manage it and that's the simplicity of it and that's what worked that that does make a ton of sense especially back then when this stuff was just starting to become interesting. Yeah yeah And that was it. I mean today devolved so much and you know it. It's still at its core. I think if you look at intercom in how they have their early more web chat but the same way that you'd use intercom to have conversations and send mass messages or hose. Nasty emails In builds a lot of that functionality to tunisia with those those contacts it's evolved a lot you know. Where're you don't realize they're you don't know how you're going to move forward that things are going to get worse And things don't they. You know things happen. Move forward and you pick up the pieces and move on and so that was just a you know a very uncertain time on the future of sales message but in reality achy was a great thing that happens and you know we're able to To continue to build the business Products grow the company how to buy them out He wasn't a shareholder in the company. Easier if it was you know the other than it would have been a little bit so the difference and just saying to him. You built this. I'm sorry we can't continue. Yeah yeah i mean you work with somebody for many hours and made just doesn't work out and It's it's very tough on both sides and to do that. I i've found that people who do that. The need somebody from the outside to say you have to. Sometimes you eat it. It's even an ultimatum. If you don't do it. I can't work with you. Person says dad or or an adviser says that to them the signs were were early on And and when you have people telling you that it's hammered them or people start leaving you just use facilities. What was happening people people. I don't want to embarrass them. But i don't wanna embarrass him What you're saying is that was internal pressure from people. It just didn't make sense and that we all knew and you know it's This is the first time i've ever talked about. It's uncomfortable to talk about it. Thanks and you know we we we we we knew we knew. And you know just It's of got to that that tailend where you talk to make incision at the end of that. It's a business decision anyways But yeah. I think you know that that was it. We just Just in workout workout right. And so then. Growth ended up coming in the beginning through these These integrations infusion soft taza marketplace active campaign. I think had a marketplace at the time right there promoting all the tools at work with their software. They're sending you customers. You got customers from call loop who want the extra functionality. That's where i think your first customers came from right. Yup yup from that. Yeah we did send out like a couple couple promotions to the call lube lists. Some customers came over from that seat a little bit. But they're really two separate customers Realization oh wow they're actually totally different So came from that. you know. We're doing some marketing and just organically word of mouth really started to kick in and since then we do a lot more on the marketing side without but But early on it was sort of that word of mouth. That was you know helping helping it. Grow into the integrations out too. So hey and then today. Wars where customers coming from all over come from The agency's affiliates You ads so we're starting to diversify a lot of the marketing side of things. But it's you know it's it's perfect but it's working so let me close off with three things that i have in my notes from the first conversation or one of the conversations that i had with you here on on the podcast one was. We asked you our producer. Did what advice would you give somebody. And you said you'd suggest doing more customer profiling in the beginning and that's one of the things that you learn from the lean startup movement.

The Celtics finally have an African American head coach. No, no knew that was the case. Knew that was not a a pioneer Terrell. Well, more as this was a huge story yesterday. Huge. This overtook social media You did not include it in the topic list was that because you were worried about Media on media crime. Yes, and also knowing damn well that he has a show that may or may not be heard at the same time as us it felt like something. We swim a way from and not do, But, hey, I'm all here for it. If you want to do it, especially from the fact that the best part after was he doubled down and said he changed his past. I haven't even gotten there yet. I have Okay. Alright. I didn't know if you were aware of that part of it. I haven't even gotten there yet. Because it only enhances the ridiculousness. Okay? Never mind. The reason why I think that this is absolutely on On the table to pick apart is that J. Williams isn't only a competitor of ours. He's also a widely He is a widely well regarded basketball analyst on television. He's also a guy that played in the NBA. He's also a Duke standout. I mean, Jay Williams has been around the basketball block. He's a guy that's been front and center in basketball for many, many years. And he's pretty well regarded. And so you hear this, and you're just like this is the easiest fact check of all time. It doesn't take much. It's one thing to be wrong on opinions. Look, we're all wrong in opinions, and I'm never going to get after somebody. Like a J. Williams that usually doesn't do the hot take thing. I mean, sometimes he does, which is kind of ridiculous, But most of the time, it doesn't it just be like, Hey, he was wrong on that higher that fire that prediction that that draft pick or whatever. It's another thing to say something like the Celtics have never had a coach of color with Doc Rivers was on the sidelines seven seasons ago. I mean to me more as this is slightly mind boggling that you wouldn't before you had this taken just quickly do a Google search and the only way I could possibly defend him because he had to have got that from somewhere, right? You don't just Make that up and tweet at the moment. You see the news. Was there some kind of fake Twitter that he fell for that he read and came up on his timeline That said he will be the first You know, Boston Celtics head coach of color Like there has to be a reason that Jay Williams went with that. Well, I think that because Brad Stevens has been there for a while because the Boston Celtics have a very white washed reputation. That the inclination would be. The Celtics have never had a black head coach. That's that's probably some people's first instincts. That's probably not J. Well, that's not probably only J. Williams. First instinct you think about race relations you think about Boston. You you look at Brad Stevens, and you just kind of assume. Well, they probably have never had a black head coach before. I mean, now again, Doc Rivers is not long ago, but Doc Rivers is two teams ago. So maybe you even are thinking about Doc Rivers and the other guys that I mentioned are back. In the early nineties, and before many people haven't heard of Satch Sanders has a head coach. Casey Jones is one of those rare guys that won multiple titles in the NBA and people Don't remember him as the head coach. You remember Pat Riley, head coach of the Lakers. You remember John Daly, head coach of the Pistons. You remember Phil Jackson, head coach of the Bulls. If I asked Most NBA fans who were the coaches that Larry Bird won titles with most would not say Bill Fitch and Casey Jones. So these might be forgettable names in some ways, I just think He just didn't think about it. And then didn't Google it? I don't think he got it from anywhere. I just think you didn't think about it. But that's a pretty big meatball. Just tweet on instinct did not look up and do a little research. Aren't you? The king of tweeting on instinct? Am I am But I would think in this angel race relation stuff is something If you're going to tackle there needs to be real research done and not just win you and not just wing it. I mean, you think of you the fish, The emoji like you. That's a big deal. Just look it up. If you don't know, and I find it hard to leave The J. Williams from this error could possibly forget Doc represent and go to the Boston Celtics. Well, but that's kind of unforgivable. I don't care how many stops stock rivers made sense. He wanted freaking title in this era with the Boston Celtics. Well, The best case scenario is, as you said, somebody else tweeted this and he just took it and ran with it without thinking because then Jay Williams deleted the tweet. Waited three hours and at 7 37 last night. Had the goal to tweet as it relates to the Boston Celtics tweet that came from my account a couple of hours ago. I did not post that. And my pass code has now been changed. O J. O J. Williams. Uh, I had respect for you before this. But the dog ate my homework. My account has been hacked. Excuse is the worst excuse because In this instance. If you were a hacker and could hack into people's Twitter accounts. Would one of your practical jokes or one of your reasons for hacking B. I am going to send an inaccurate tweet about the coaches that have coached the bus it Celtics from Jay Williams account. Is that really What a hacker would do is that Is that, like, got you J. I mean, of all the things a hacker would do. It would be celebrating the higher of the Boston Celtics. Be like, Where do you see what I do to Jay Williams account? Ha ha ha! I'm going to totally get them by celebrating a head coach hired by the Celtics like No, That's not what people prank tweet about. We know this We have had many years of prank tweets. It's not this and then you know how else I know it's a lie. So that J. Williams had the gall to tweet. My pass code is now been charged. Oh, well, Okay, great. J. Well, now I feel so much more secure in your tweets because prior to to Wednesday afternoon, I was wondering what your passcode was and how recently you had changed it. I was wondering what your secret answer was to what your high school mascot was or what your mom's middle name was. I was kind of wondering, Had you check that on your chase banking account as well? Oh, now your pass code has changed. Okay, great. Like when you get hacked. If you get hacked Your response, is it? Oh, and don't worry world now I've changed my pass code. That won't happen again. I mean, more as this is just the worst excuse ever for the biggest l you could take right and to double up on how you know how we know J. Williams is lying. Nobody calls a Twitter password Passcode, either. Your passcode is how you get into your phone. So unless somebody actually stole your phone with your Twitter logged in and then hacked says Go there. But then at that point, why would you even need to change your passcode? You have your phone back. He's not saying that happened and also We know how people who actually hacked Twitter's work when you hack a Twitter. Oh, my goodness. I can't believe I got in and you go right to tweeting something stupid to do Whatever. So you're totally bonkers..

High Avalanche Danger Out West Affects Transportation And Ski Areas
"To another story now. It's been a chaotic couple of weeks in the rocky mountains where large avalanches have closed highways ski resorts a single storm near Salt Lake City. It triggered a record forty eight slides as NPR's Kirk siegler reports. The increased avalanche risk comes at a time when more and more people are hitting the slopes in the high country. God probably Craggy Teton Mountains of North West Wyoming steep and deep Jackson hole is as a magnet for extreme skiers right. They're buddies goading them on on Matt Beauregard. And Rick lawler drop a fifteen foot cliff in this glade. Area called the tower three shits as just a melody honestly. You were just rep around rounded bounce. Skiing inbounds inside. The patrolled boundaries of the ski resort generally thought to be safer when it comes to avalanches. That's because all season skiers. I've been packing this snow down and stabilising it. But Matt Beauregard knows that's no guarantee we've actually triggered small slides on this exact face. They may duck a rope and ski ski out of bounds into the back country. But even here at the resort. They're wearing avalanche transceivers and safety gear. Just in case education's probably the most important thing. Rick here's wearing an air bag for added protection so in the case that he is stuck inside an avalanche you'll be able to pull this cord and hopefully float to the surface inbounds or in the back country. Avalanche danger is high across the mountain west. An unusually snowy early season followed by drought than dry powder. Storms then a punch of heavy wet snow last weekend in Utah. Today's storm dumped six and a half feet in Little Cottonwood Canyon home to the snowbird and Alta resorts awards and it ended up closing little cottonwood for fifty four hours and forty eight. Avalanches were reported one of those hit. The Road Mickey Champion is a forecaster here at the Utah Avalanche Center. She recorded wind speeds up to a hundred miles an hour on Ridge tops that further destabilize the already volatile snowpack in the Wasatch satch mountains. And then you put a big wrong heavy load or a wind load on top of that it just kind of upside down. It's like a pyramid when you take out the Baser Django when you remove one of the pieces says there were no fatalities reported in Utah. But last month skiers were buried and killed in avalanches within patrolled terrain at resorts in California and Idaho. Oh all of this is putting the round. The clock work. People tasked with keeping these mountains safe under the microscope Jackson Hole. Ski Patrol Director Drew Neilan stepping into his bindings above. You can't see it in the fog now. But there's a big cirque above us here and that's Casper Bowl. All and all that terrain is avalanche terrain every morning at dawn before the tram and the Gondolas Starts Spinning Army of Nielsen's patrol or detonating explosives lives to intentionally trigger slides. Now so skiers don't later and some of these can even be detonated remotely thanks to new robot like trolleys that reach even more dangerous surest remote places. Obviously we worry about avalanches coming down into the heavily congested areas. So that's one of our biggest concerns to get that work done early. Another big concern is simply that more. People are venturing out further into areas. They normally wouldn't have thanks to improved equipment. I think people assume that we're able that. We have the ability to completely eliminate the risk of avalanches within the scary. And that's just not the case but avalanche forecasters say along with the increased risk. It comes a new cachet becoming cool to say. You've taken avalanche courses and Dir as prepared as you can be Kirk Siegler N._p._R.. News Jackson Wyoming.

"I think he's in if they win this year, and maybe even if they don't think he's in what do you think? A whole team just they operate. You know, it's funny, I was more of a baseball fan growing up. So I feel like he's hall of fame questions had very defined boundaries, and we would blur them and everyone had their own criteria. But, but you kinda knew with basketball, it's all over the place. And I do think being an essential member of historic core, especially having learned BA finals MVP. Can do it. I mean he just was really prolific for a very long time. Even before he got there back to the numbers. Yeah. Let me back to being prolific now. But he's like he was I mean, you know, we forget he was a guy who was, you know, twenty game eighteen game nineteen to game seventeen every year during prime he, he, he accumulated enough of those sort of raw numbers. So then when it came time for him to be the cloak contributor role player on an essential team. That that's not merely. He he, he did. He did the man thing, right? You did the forty minutes a night, you know, team leading score thing for a pretty long time and was by then. So by the way, was hated in Philadelphia during during that time. Yeah. I mean. Drape peculiar guy by his own admission. Yeah, I, I if I had a vote sure, I think you want to looking at the full, I'm looking at the full complement here. Yeah. Sure. I knows MVP I would've voted for Steph, I've said that, before I think the subtext this entire conversation is I had a big argument with max Kellerman earlier in the season. I think Steph is remains underrated even present day in terms of where he ranks. I think he's he's underrated. I think he's closer to the best player in the league than he is to like the fourth best player in the league. And I've said that many times. And, and I you know, but I think Andre is going to get in. I think he was, so the finals MVP to me makes up. I think it's robbery that he never won six minutes of the year. Absolute robbery. But if you look at all the one time all stars that are in the hall of fame, most of them are in as coaches or international players, like like, you know, one or fewer all-stars, frankly. Then you have some of the Celtics guys from the fifties and sixties like Satch Sanders and Casey Casey Jones who's in as a coach and a player Calvin Murphy's at one time, all star, you know, he's a one time all sorts in the hall of fame. Bill, Bradley, I thought he'd been moral thirteen one time. I thought so too may one according to. I'll double check again. So there is some precedent for it. Although it's incredibly rare for someone to get in with just one all star appearance. I think Andrea is getting in particular, if they would issue, and in the playoffs. I mean, a big reason they've had their hiccups right Houston took them six clippers. That was like a weird series for a hot second. A big reason they are. They are now two wins away from another finals. Is it Andrea has turned back the clock and head? I mean, this is as well as he's played since like his first couple of seasons warriors it's been ridiculous. Yeah. There's some nice playoff numbers. Yeah. Some really nice playoff numbers and his defense. I mean he's guarding the guarding Lillard down the stretch of these games. If not at the beginning of them, and he's, he's guarded Hardin..

‘History of the Future’: Facebook, Oculus and the Rebirth of VR
"Have to tell you. The history of the future is a must must read for everyone out there. And joining us today is its author. Blake j Harris. Be blake. If you could conceive this five years ago, you couldn't even conceive this story, it's such a pleasure. Welcome to the program. You of course, the author of the bestselling console wars. The. The it's also being did I hear that legendary entertainment and producer? Seth Rogan is producing this for television. You heard correct. Yeah. My first book council worries about the behind the scenes drama between Sagan intendo from the early nineties as being produced in two TV series by getting legendary pictures and dream come true for me. And yeah, if this new book, the history of the future about Oculus, Facebook virtual reality, and and tear point I would have no idea ended the way it did. When I I sit ups, right? This is such first of all when did you get what was it about the story that compelled you? I mean, it really was just the experience I think using Oculus virtual reality headset. One of the things that interested me was that so many people between two thousand twelve and fourteen right before I sold the faithful for three billion dollars would try what are these virtual reality headset and just take it off and say, wow, that's the future. And you know, we didn't really know what that banks especially looking at this business standpoint how to type ad or how do we move forward? What does that experience? Really incredible. And that was certainly a big part of of what caused by entrusted also reading that book ready player one which was recently adapted into Stephen Spielberg that was a big inspiration for me as well as people at Oculus and Facebook who got involved with I for reality. So this story. Satch? I mean, what a story tell everybody a little bit of the background. If they're not familiar of archaeologists in how this all unfolded. Sure. So. The book takes a twist towards the end that we can get into or not spoilt for your listeners. If you wanted to know. Just starts off. It's it's really crazy to be sort of a modern day American Greene story about this nineteen year old kid named Palmer lucky. I think in a living in a living in a trailer park FYI living at a trailer in Long Beach, California and the trailer. I described the book, and I think one of the. Basically like Walter white. Yeah. Yeah. Commerce has been optimized for virtual reality headset said back in twenty eleven twenty twelve nobody cared about virtual reality thing that people thought was weird that can lead to anything and then through a strange twist of fate. He contacted by the legendary Gabe Baker John back. Best known for making games like doom and welcome sign, and then Palmer's journey the and then in less than two years to sells his company to Facebook for almost three billion dollars. Can you imagine? Can you imagine? I can't imagine and one of the most fun parts of nurses. At Palmer is such a essentially by grounded person, you know, to him the best part about making all that buddy. Was just gave him it made it made it easier for him to do more side projects like fun stuff with combustion, engines, and airplanes and stuff that we would ever think of you know, he's he's a pretty humble guy who really just loves his work as a writer. That's right about that. I bet so you use started to look at this story. What what is where are we today with virtual reality? That's a good question. So. So much first of all reality. Whether it's from science fiction or the failed attempt VR the nineties is just about this promise, this vision of the future and with that comes a lot of hype. And so Oculus was the beneficiary of that. And sort of raise this whole industry over twenty twelfth twenty fourteen they they released their first consumer DR headset in two thousand sixteen as a company named valve who partner with HEC, also Sony, PlayStation. So so a lot of consumer VR was launched in two thousand sixteen and so far, you know. It's been it's been a slow go. I think people are very about the long-term prospects of reality. But it's just gonna take a while to get there. And there's probably at this point five million pets out there. But you know, when Mark Zuckerberg purchase Oculus and the beginning of the book starts just he he compared it to the smartphone revolution, and the sort of expecting to sell millions and millions and millions of these things within a few years, and that has not been the case which made for interesting story, though as a fan of the are, maybe not satisfying. What?
