"Said on forced to celebrate my 60th birthday in quarantine after having tested positive. I would like to add that I am relatively okay, just a little more tired than usual, but I'm confident to recover as soon as possible. Put in boots. He, he added out, Take advantage of this isolation to read, write and rest. His statement was in fact written in Spanish. So someone translated that for me, Thank you. Ah and Tony has had some stuff in the last decade or so. We had a benign tumor removed from his back in 09 heart attack three years ago. As far as I know, had been in pretty good health lately. I'm not seeing anything else. Um Antonio's acts Melanie Griffith. She celebrated her 63rd birthday the day before yesterday, but she did not share a covert diagnosis. They don't think they see each other, she posted a photo of a happy birthday sign on the front gate of her house. Talked about, you know. How wonderful for failure. I mean, you know whatever. Well, stuff happens you on your birthday. It's a nice day. Sylvester Stallone is in the news today for selling his SUV. They say here for more than your house is probably worth thes. People clearly do not live in the bay area like this. This I will say this for $350,000. You could buy a small house and it's Sylvester Stallone's Escalate. You could live in this thing. Surprise. It's 20 feet long. It's fully customized. It's a 2019 Cadillac Escalade for 3 50 It's Ah, It's all about the TVs and screens, though, like they're going, you know they go on and on about how Marvelous. The TV system isn't and I'm like, I don't know. I wanna watch TV in the car. He spent 300 K on Ah, and an Escalade last year, and he already is getting rid of it only has 1000 miles on it. Jesus. What I know Oh, there, there's a picture of it. It looks like it honestly looks like the interior of Ah, like a really posh jet. Ah, it's got a 43 inch smart TV built into the center divider and then 12 inch screens for the rear facing passengers. They each each of the TV's apparently has two sim cards in it, So they a different carriers. Can you know wherever he is? He gets the best reception service rights, right? The windows have electric curtains. Wow, that is worth 3 50 there are two fully electric rear bucket seats with leg rests on everything and it's ah, It's only 1000 miles on it. He's unloading it because my requirement for it has recently changed. So Ah, you Khun! You don't know you could get your hands on that experiment for okay, look at that thing. I mean, it's it is, in the end, just a car. You could sleep in it, though. And right in the area. It's a bargain. What he was doing where he actually thought felt like he needed that, you know. Like lower in different worlds aren't way we really are will like it after it was like an afterthought for me is just like you know what I need? I need a really big car. Try to look at the look of that seat, though that is that does look cozy. Look, I mean, it looks like he's a big limo. It's the seats fold down here and live easy. They're easier to get in and out of the car, You know? Fold that thing you ever wrestle with? Like how the seat folds down or flips robbery? Just like that. I just left the seat up. Wouldn't that be great? Well, yes. And for 3 50 you can have that. I suppose I don't know what the thing cost when they rolled it off the lot, But I suppose if you're a huge rocky fan, and you've got 30 50 laying around, maybe this is for you. I don't know. Is it is it If you're in the market for this car, and the rocky one becomes available, you're like, Yeah, 1000 miles on it. I'll do it. Um James Hung. You probably don't know his name. I don't But if you look him up, you would go. I've seen him in a 1,000,000 things. He's 91 years old. He is. They say he's possibly the most prolific actor in Hollywood. He has more than 600 acting credits on his resume dating back to the 19 fifties. Ah, he's been on everything from Seinfeld to Wayne's world. Tio moolah on the original one s. So I guess he was a voice. Um Agents of shield and he's still working. Do you have a picture of Ah of James Wong? Sorry, James Hung. He is actually ah, there. There's a big campaign to get him a star on the areas. Take a look. Okay. Like you've seen him. I mean, I do recognise him. Yes. He's been in everything anytime they needed. An Asian guy. Go get James Hung. I actually remember him from Seinfeld. Yes, Yeah. Yeah, he was on Seinfeld. There is a campaign to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Um, I think he's the guy in the restaurant that they're trying to get a seat in. That's taking forever and then they're gone. And then he he, he calls out Seinfeld. You don't remember that one. I know I do remember, and I wouldn't have remembered him from that. But, you know, But there you go. They were like, Well, we need an Asian guy to play and he would be the guy. "She puts it all way up to the bottom of her nose out around the sides because you don't want that to crack down underneath the lip. I mean, she's got like this big, glossy sort of Section of her face. Great and it's all I could think of him like, Oh, my God, it's Lenny. That is crazy. Like Just and it becomes an obsession. People who need who do the lip balm. Well, that's elected a building clearly. It is addictive. Yet you're just saying that No. 100%. It's like what's the African crap? You spread your nose. It creates more. It alleviates the problem that it creates. You know what I mean? Like it? Well, it dries you out. So there you are trying to put stuff on to live it up, and now you're being dried out wears all right. As soon as it's off, it drives you further and then you need Maura of it and so on, and it's just a never ending cycle of application. It's unreal, and some I mean, look, I know you know, just this one person in my life that I would. I just was staring at her like you've got to be kidding me that it's it's not just like soon she's going to use it as face mask like it's. It's gotten that far outside. The realm of her lips is like the clown mouth that they paint an inch all the way around. God, I hope Lanie doesn't listen. I doubt it. Can't imagine it. Well, that maybe you're given her cold splash water she needs well, I gave it to me. Oh, there's a skinny Jing alert on the back. I have one You've got a car than that. Oh, my God. You're addicted to Oh, yeah, I got a variety pack. And I'm concerned. Yeah should be concerns our skin cancer and skin aging alert. Yeah. Throw that away and quit. You want to hear something trippy? Yes. My daughter was a toupee girl until last week, and she just quit. All on her own The which one the youngest? Yeah. The youngest one? No, of course. Yeah, we wouldn't. I mean, There's no way we'd continue to give those to our six year old, right? No well, but Ed's, though I know I know that that's why I'm so impressed by my she's about to turn to next week. She just quit. She just stopped using it. No, we never asked her. We didn't have to wean her off it. She just stopped neither one of Mike. I wish that my kids would use pacifiers. My one kid sucked his thumb. The other kid, Nothing. There was nothing you could stick in that kid's mouth that would shut him up. Oh, my God, I would I would have loved I would have loved to have had the problem of the toupee. We got the same one had the super before, and then she converted her thumb. Yeah, And then she just stopped. She just stopped to. Yeah, Incredible. That's really sometimes they'll get like a little sore on their thumbs so they can't suck it anymore. Which is what you want. You want a little sore? Then you go. Oh, just, you know, take a week off. On then they then they can't even like fit in there, mouth or right way more otherwise, unless they have another one of those Yeah, I was. Anyway, Listen, the one I want to get this in before we move on from big brother. So while you were focused on this, that kid's CarMax, which I really towards the end of the episode my attention had, you know strayed, so that's why I didn't hear that. That part Um Is her name, Lynette. You know? You know, Jen l I the boom and blonde, the real estate agent with the giant lips the surgery. So first of all, I'm looking. They kept you and face close ups. The nose surgery. The blown up lips are so distracting that I had I looked her up and went General Big brother. Whatever her name is big brother. Ah, pre surgery and sure it will. The first thing that pops up is a mug shot of her from some gym from. I don't know what she did, but she was. Oh, my God. Awesome. I got I'm gonna look her up. But it has a totally different knows. Oh, yeah. No, no, you can. You know, you can really tell when someone has a nose job. Lika has really distinct side nostril has been narrowed. She had that knows the first time she was on I mean, she just looks like obviously, you know, all the procedures have continued. She's super Plumped up through the face, But yeah, those lips John was like what? What do you even do? Two get lips like that. Like, why do you want me to get those? You really go in a lot there it ISS That's that's that's pre nose job. You know what? She didn't need it. And that's good. If I could take a second toe the people out there who are thinking of looking in the mirror and thinking what they should dio you pro know where you are. You are going to look just like this lady. She's I can't Focus on anything else, but what she's done to her poor face up, and it's you know, maybe somehow through her lenses. She thinks she's improved herself. But I don't see it. I think her nose is absolutely distracted. Let her sign her nose was fined pretty aggio. She she's She was a lovely She's still lovely, actually really liked, you know. But well, I watch of washer three times on the show, and and she's good. She really She knows how to play and she's She's a good person she got. She's kind smoked last night on that challenge well, She got smoked, but the genius of that challenges They knew they were up. They knew they were going to be targeted, and only one of them was going to win and was going to take the other one. Like walking into that safety room. Why wouldn't they? The Post-Pandemic Builder's Market

"Thanks so much for joining me today Clare. Ing Stance. Pleasure be here. I want to start with. So so we're talking about this thing that that you call a builders market and so just to start off the bat. Will Yael help us understand the distinction between a buyer's market and a builders marketplace. Absolutely. Absolutely. So You. Know the the the Post Covid and I'm I'm being optimistic to say the Post Kovic. Market right because we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel However in May, coexist with us for a while I. Think businesses are are are starting to emerge from their hibernation their you know their self-imposed `isolation. Sarah. And part of what we are seeing unfortunately is rising unemployment we had we had been. Very blessed. I think with a with a very low historic, low unemployment rate, Pre Cova. Now, of course, the unemployment is climbing as companies have had make very difficult decisions. you know just to just to survive. Let, alone come out of stronger. and. So with the rising unemployment, a lot of compainies look at that market of. Available talent and they classify it as a as a buyer's market rate, the supply and demand kind of thing, and I would challenge companies to shift their perspective. Toward that humid pool as a builder's market and the reason I say that is because you you can look at this. Situation. We are in the economy that we're in right now as a buyer's market from a stamp wing of. Renegotiating agreements with suppliers and vendors and partners, and trying to. Make. Your cash flow more efficient. You're spending more efficient, and that's all well and good when it comes to candidates though that you want to add to your team. The smart companies, the smart years are looking at this as a builder's market in saying, we're not just going to scoop up talent that's out there because the supply is so high, we're going to be that much more strategic about who we add to our teen and make sure that each of those people if the right fit for where we are trying to go is an organization. So it's a very different Lens through which to look at the employment market, the candidate market as a you know from the eyes of builder as opposed to a buyer. I. Say. Okay. So was there a process that they go through to figure out? Where they need to be adding or what they're looking for in in the right talent. Yes, absolutely, and so. Every every company that I work with in in cove it, you know the the impact of covid. Doesn't change my initial focus with any any company I work with. We always start with getting really really clear on what that company's mission is and when I say mission a lot of companies. They're the reflex reaction is, Oh, we've got that covered. We've got mission statement out on our website. Right and a mission statement. Too often fortunately is so far afield from a company's. Mission, the company's forget what they're. You know what their purpose is why they are in business to begin with up. They are all about what they're looking to achieve long term, and so it is really important Especially coming out of the covid impacted in life as we know it Chew Revisit Reach Next Redefine or or craft from from. Square one what your company's mission is you have to get that right I. Truly truly believe that the mission is the springboard for everything else. It's the filter through which you should be looking at on your business decisions. You're hiring decisions, you're spending decisions and so when we talk about that in the context of candidates in who to add. The. Clearer. You are in your mission. The easier. You can then say, okay. Now that we we know we're all aligned on what that mission is. At least from the you know the top levels of leadership. Now, let's take a fresh look at are. We structured the right way to achieve that mission? Do we have the right people in the right roles with the right skills and the right motivations? Right, and so the that clarity around mission? is so fundamental. It's so foundational to any bits regardless of the stage of its evolution whether they are just starting up. They're transitioning from You know one face to another television that mission clarity shooed determine who you hire where you high or how you hire in in how you put those skills to using organization.

How to Transition Team Members with Sarah Sloyan

"T members transition all the. Time business and it's one of the joys of small businesses you get to work with some of your best friends and and also one of the biggest sorrows is when you get to a point in and you go on a different path and those friends leave to do their own thing to move on a different opportunity and our senior vice president of entreleadership Sarah Slowin Ir we're. Going to spend a little time talking about this idea of transitions with team members, how to do it well, how to coach your team to do it in a way? That's classy. Alex has been so classy all the communication up to this point. This decision he's included us. We've worked together on this journey by the time that the decision was made he made that decision we. All agreed felt right because of all the conversation that we have been having and It's really a beautiful thing when it goes well like this, but it's also a nightmare when it doesn't and so Sarah unpack a few of the ways that you can set your team up for success to have a healthy culture that embraces doing transitions well with your team. So check it out. Sarah we say it all the time and that is that healthy things grow. And growing things change. When we have team that's growing and a business that's evolving. There's times when people move on, they do their own thing. I don't know about you but I used to just be in denial about this I thought will hire people they'll stay forever will all love each other all the time and nobody's ever going to leave and It's not the case. It's very not the case. We take a blood oath. It's like you're committed staying forever the hot normal. Because I mean we put so much energy into hiring the right people and. We build these bond says we become family and working and fighting together I mean what was the first time you remember thinking like Oh, man I can't believe we're losing this person because I mean, I, think we can all think back to the first time. It's such an emotional thing that somebody's moving on for me. It felt like we're never going to recover from this. LOSE THIS PERSON WE'RE GONNA die yes I was thinking back to not only my first time also the time that probably hit me the most was win I had an admin leave you know and we were so close and she just had this gift and this calling to go back into the music industry but I just remember thinking Oh my Gosh, you know is there anything I could've done or what am I going to do without her or that one felt I think so personal because we worked so closely together and that was really really tough and we stayed in touch and were still great friends but I remember thinking that was going to be tough to recover from. But you made it. in the moment, it always feels like the end of the world and I think what we have found is that there is a natural thing that happens where somebody else comes along. Sometimes it's even a better fit for the next person that comes in you get a chance to kind of upgrade your tail, and that's what I've learned is I have gotten progressively better at identifying what I need like. If you take the admin example, the first time I've ever hired an Admin I didn't know what I even needed. Help with people just told me I needed this. Person, and so the subsequent times that I hired for that role I had a much clearer understanding of what I needed the characteristics that I needed and I was able to articulate that better on the front end to set us up win even better and I think that's the same in our roles. I think when I am rehiring for a designer role, honestly sometimes a business has changed and grown so much since the last time I hired for that role that we are looking for a different skill set even at that point, you know the bar is is changed. Into Stanley often says that the people that start with you many times will not finish with you. Yeah, and that's tough because you want to believe that the people that were early on the founders of your team that wants who really are building this from the grassroots you have these visions of standing on top of the mountain together all celebrating the big long journey that we all went on together and when that doesn't work out that way, it can be an emotional journey. That's the bitter sweetness of leadership. You know we're called to lead these people. Love them and train them knowing like you're saying that a large percentage of them will be called to do something else. What I always try to remember is it's a force multiplier when they leave, they are taking the principles that you have shared with them and the kind of unconditional love and acceptance that you've shown them, and hopefully they are pouring that out into other places and other operations, and so that's kind of a cool thing to think about the ripple effect you know, of course, I want everybody just to stay here and be at Ramsey. Forever. But the idea of them going somewhere else in being able to implement the things that they've learned here. That's pretty cool.

Messi Dazzles as Barca Advance

"Barcelona taking on Napoli One, one, this of course going. into the second leg at the camp. Now, boss in the end winning by three goals to one heads of discussing Alley Moreno Frank Leboeuf who's about to become a grandfather for the first time. He's adore to in labor and without comment we also introduced Craig Burley as well to the program Craig. Let's start. Shall we reflecting on that win for at the camp now once again Lionel Messi was instrumental. Thank. You. So when you went for thirty thousand and just just delaying the inevitable for him one more game going to the core finals. You know and you can't say much more than. in terms of the performance, it was unsurprising that. Not Play who finished seventh and Sarah will still very much towards the end of the game I thought that you'd brought Milijana Burt eller physical presence. And get more balls in the balked. He didn't do that until the last ten or twelve minutes and so bacelona got away with it was messy sharpness. That gotten through particularly the the bold inactivation killer Bali. For, the kick, but there was one or two calls in the Game B-. Bustle, and got the job done is they should have. Done done against the site are not the best in Syria. We'll talk about some of these dubious calls in a moment but I thought you talked about the so much. Have we I feel after every Barcelona game about how dependent they are on messy? Yeah, it's it's not gonNA take not anytime soon that is the way that they play and everybody on the field looks for where Messi is and give him the ball and led him resolve the issues. There isn't any more productivity coming from anywhere else other on the field. There is a through ball from anybody else there isn't a final pass from anybody else across from anybody else if it's not messy, essentially winning the ball given to himself, crossing the to himself and finishing himself it's very, very difficult to see where Barcelona produces Brielle, goalscoring opportunities and. Again. Today we saw Nantong agrees bid a lot of running a lot a lot of work for the team defensively by very little impact offensively restarted scores have penalty gig, but very little outside of that and really what was truly surprising about this game in the second half is to see Barcelona at home just renounced possession just four for the possession say, yeah, you will. You have the ball you see if you can create something on, we're going defend. Now this is Barcelona we're talking about this is not a millennial team. This is not a defensive team, per se and yet at team that you have historically seen at the count now just knocking the ball around really. Possession Monday, the rhythm of the game that is not what we saw today in the second half they were more than happy to sit behind the ball, very unlike Barcelona but in the end effective effective and to advance onto the next round. Frank is testament to what have done in this competition over previous years. The even three one up I home with ten minutes ago you still felt you had to watch this game to the end just in case Napoli got back into it. Yes. Exactly. Because you know that defensive, a bustling is very fragile and the showed that many many times and. And the consistency now they're the talent is not as well except that you have a fantastic little man missy to also do young think he did well, I mean the outside the food when he gave him the giftable macy when he scored and the goal was. disallowed. is an absolute beauty but otherwise, Yeah Celine Craig, it's very very. Well you. No performance style you know where where you don't see many things you you see only one guy doing the difference and that's it and you you I wanted to to see after the. Win Win scalding just before the off time. Say Six second time. It's going to be better. Maybe we're going to see something. Well, he didn't happen to the bid at some point but. How. The of the day you Didn't see a good game good game I. so average she'll team against I've sees a dude, the shade of the that we known I think we're doing the rest of these bustle and a disservice here. Yeah, they're under performance. There's no doubt about it, but sometimes players even the best players are looking for guidance and we know we know there are holes in the boss loners squad the there's quite a few top teams have holes in the squad. But did you spend all in? Well, let's see. It's just a messy for Barcelona. I think when you look around, I think what they need to find as as yeah, a balance within the squad which comes through budget. But a coach, find a key to unlock the clear talent there, and it takes some pressure off message Volvo they struggled and lost his job and said to him was a man it was going to commend with as Grit football style from Betas and nuts really not happened, and so there is more in the locker for boss of them were seeing I'd just feel that the sampler not playing well, another players looking for guidance. And yet defined the court this going to command and the last twelve to eighteen months or so and fainter sets up the gets the best of everybody else as well as getting the best Lino. Colleges take different approaches to tracking COVID-19 as students return to campus

"And universities to resume on campus classes and sports have now finally been released by state health officials. California schools in counties that have been on the state's monitoring list for three consecutive days, which is the case for all Southern California schools won't be able to return to indoor lectures and, well, some students might still enter the campus at USC. It's chief student health officer, Dr Sarah Van Orman says. There will be restrictions. Anyone coming onto campus or residing in our dorms are actually required to go through a daily wellness screening process, And that's you know, based on best practices from CDC, it's also a requirement of the Department of Public Health if we re open among the requirements for college athletics is that players, coaches and staff must wear masks when they're not engaged in a match for high contact. Sports like football schools must share virus testing results with each other within 72 hours of competition and games. Well, they can resume must be played without Spectators. Chris C. Eden's

Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker

"100 years ago, Madam C. J. Walker was the richest, self made woman in America. She battled both racism and sexism in a post abolition world. She created an empire of hair care products for black women, and she also employed an empowered thousands of black women across the country. Her story is the subject of a Netflix series called Self Made. Inspired by the Life of Madam C. J. Walker. The show stars Octavia Spencer as Thie, tenacious businesswoman, and Blair Underwood plays her husband. You see him struggle to live in the shadows of his wife's massive achievements. You might know Blair from L. A law dear white people or sex in the city. He also starred in the Broadway production of a Soldier's play. I talked to Blair right around the time. The play had to shut down early because of covert 19 back in mid March, and I started off by asking him why Madam C. J. Walker story is so important. She accomplished something that was just a monumental An extraordinary at the turn of the century in the late 18 hundreds and building this hair care empire Ah, woman. An African American woman, um, during that period of time to to earn that kind of money she did, And as you as you said, she employed and empowered thousands of African American women all over the world, So she was really you know, before Mary Kay or Avon or M Way she was creating distributors. People could have their own businesses and be their own business people at the time, So it was really extraordinary. It was amazing what she created, especially given the times in which she did it. Yeah, the early 19 hundreds. Incredible. So let's take a listen to a clip from the new Netflix series Self. This is you. Yeah, This is you and Octavia Spencer as husband and wife. New hotel downtown. The iron figure you will meet wouldn't go down. There could be a bell half you could do laundry. You don't just plant a seed and expect fruit the next day. Color women here. Just gotta get used to that idea. Somebody was doing ahead as all you know. I always love you big ideas, but I'm not going back to long enough. Now. Wait a minute. No way. Don't all made sacrifices You won't do was best for this family. Yeah, so there's definitely some tension. Attention that we hear that Cliff. How would you describe the relationship between your character CJ Walker and his wife, Madam C. J. Walker. Oh, loving but strained. I say, loving first, because I think that's the most important thing to know about. These two people is that they have great had great admiration for each other and affection. They came together and fell in love before she became successful before she became Madam C. J. Walker. Her name was Sarah. Breedlove. And my character's name is Charles Joseph Walker. So she's known in relationship to him. Mrs. CJ Welcome, Madam C. J. Walker, Um and then when she because of because for intellect and her driving her tenacity and her persistence. She as the brand became more famous, and she built. She was the driving force behind the empire that she built. And it was ah, a lot for him to swallow in tow handle into process on a day to day basis and There's alcoholism involved, and there was a womanising involved. And you know he himself was a man of his times on did not want to be defined by the woman in his life, no matter how much he loved her. It was very hard for him to just find his equilibrium in the midst of all of that. Yeah, and to figure out how to play second fiddle and still, I guess, maintain his masculinity or maintain the image of masculinity at that at that time, that's right and still feel of worth in a value. How did you get yourself into into that head space? That sounds like a really intense head space to get into. Well, you got nothing with acting you just Ah, In the simplest terms, we we played from people and we believe it A cz long as you believe more specifically that that you want this woman to win this woman that you're in love with that you want her to when you want her to succeed. And if you live in that space, and then all these other dynamics coming to play her becoming more successful, who are becoming more famous for becoming more well known, and then her ideas are the ones that really work more than your own. And then you you feel less diminished. But if it's rooted in the fact that you bonded and you came together as a team because of the respect and admiration and love for each other. Everything else kind of falls into place. You've been married yourself for 25 years. Did you draw on any of your own experiences in figuring out the power dynamics of a partnership for this role? Uh, yeah, I think you know you draw them everything you've got, because I was sorry. I should be more specific. I guess I'm wondering like you're a famous person, and I'm wondering if there's anything for you not even in terms of like gender roles. But just just just what it is to be a person who is in the limelight and and also trying to make sure that they're there. Partner comes along. With them and shines just as brightly. Wow, you know, Tommy, That's that's really great question. I I do think what What I've learned is that it's important to make. I find everybody around. You feel of value, but you're asking specifically in relationships. But I think that's important, too. You know that your spouse in that marriage or relationship that has a kind of dynamic Where one person maybe more known to the public. And it's more public facing that that person is aware Of how your mate might feel. My my wife doesn't care doesn't look for it, which is great, So it's a part of its part in parts of what I do as a professional is part of my profession. So there's no conflict in that respect, but But there is a sense of you know that it's important that she knows that she is valued in her world and heard her desires and her passions. And I think that's true for any relationship, so I definitely you know. Use that and this character just understanding that

What Happens When Livestock Escape After Big Storms?

"When there's a severe storm in the forecast, lots of people worry about flooding and power outages. Far fewer. Cows roaming loose on the highway. Fences. Go down and so things like cattle, horses, goats, pigs, livestock, they get out and that can cause obviously a hazard to those animals but also to humans in that, they often end up wandering in the roads including onto the interstate. We know exactly where in the county. We will probably need to respond I and go check on I. We know whereas most likely to flood I, we know where there's animals where there's crops, there's greenhouses where there's orchards. "I'm an from Iran on chief product officer at core scientific. standards with scientific. Approaching two years now before that. I. Danced around a couple of other machine learning startups and spent a decade at Microsoft working in the search team. So have been around the algorithms and big data distributed system space, my entire career mostly. But do now like what kind of brought the core scientific do there? So core scientific was interesting for a couple of reasons. One is. I definitely wanted to focus on a I said, that was one of my criterion. The second was it's a very different crowd. So lot of companies. If you go and work in a role, YOU'RE GONNA start from business problems, downwards, and kind of make your way to, let's say, ten flow kind of that. You know to flow by dortch layer up the stack. In what was unique about? Of course, scientific starting from the bottom bottom. So we were studying from concrete. Our Katie P chipsets in understanding into connect said really an opportunity to get the under the hood experience. If you will the hardware experience if you will of Ai and then work your way up at once you've done that you have a full picture of everything from. Okay. This is GonNa, use this library that's going to take advantage of this silicon feature. That's GonNa be accelerated by this hardware infrastructure and Blah Blah Blah, it just gave me a really. Unique opportunity to work from the bottom up. That's really interesting. So you're like because I, of course, scientific is I, guess you boast yourselves as a structure company. Providing, a lot of resources for people to do a myriad of things that I need compute power part of that being mining, various cryptocurrencies, as well as like machine learning and so on and so forth. Today. I. It's interesting that you you take it from. These are the resources that we have. These are the architectures that may be fit to these different types of. Algorithms that are applied across the board Does that. Even that perspective like how do you approach a problem, but what does that? Learned from that. So as you mentioned, core scientific provides a hosting infrastructure is gonNA suffer services for the two primary categories. One is blockchain in the other day I. In the blockchain side were lowered down the stacks in a somewhere between Denison as service and infrastructure is a service where we host. Mining gear for customers in aside, we've much higher up the stack. So where pretty much a a past bathroom as a service. In we'll talk about that some more later, but does it kind of the two differences in we have a, you know some synergies between the two. If you start at the facilities level, not commenting with crypto and an ai gear is high, he taipower Sarah facilities are typically much higher rated than you would find a traditional data center. And the other aspects is. Around controlling heat. In making sure you can deal with these machines at in normal standard racks that you might be used to So that's the infrastructure here and then we did a couple of things around. Using Algorithms around a workload placement, we do that both in ai on blockchain. to, as you can imagine, if you look at on the blockchain side are very common workload that you might want to figure out what's the optimal coin to mind? Right. So how do you do that? You have to figure out a bunch of algorithms, ingredients? To make a decision what to mind, and we can, we can talk a little bit more about how that works in the same thing. On the AI side, you might want to run a large training job. and you might WanNa, know is this better to run on. Azure visit bidders run on our infrastructure core aws because again you have the same equations, there's a cost in the compute. Capability in, you have to figure out what's the optimal for the customers need. So that's kind of the suffer overlap we have between the two verticals.

"Ocean animals have a clever form of camouflage transparent, but being through as far less common on land and was a few reasons why that might be Jim Barnett is a postdoctoral research fellow at McMaster University in Ontario Canada differences between air and walters. Surrounding media means life interacts differently with a transparent organisms body tissues. Any Ocean light is always coming from above and the background is less variable, but in jungle. CANOPIES light is coming from all over the place and the background is far more variable. Enter a little critter called the glass frog. It's not actually transparent. It's translucent that means it's skin in some places is thin enough that you can actually see its internal or hard at work most of the time when you see photograph of these folks, they're taking onto quite controlled conditions with either strong lighting like powerful flash. Photograph underneath on a piece of glass, and it's really the the bellies which are transparent and these folks are pretty small and thin and quite delicate Sarah. If you have a powerful flash on your camera, you can tell just lost light through them and they look pretty transparent. Barnett says the frogs translucent skin is actually a novel camouflage strategy that no one's ever really studied. Until now we're thinks is happening is that light is traveling through the frog interacting with the pigmentation about a lot of it does pass through the frog and bounces off the background Some of that light will be absorbed by the background underneath Roque. This'll some reflected of that becker a come back through the frog. So if a glass frog is sitting on a break greenleaf. In the jungle canopy, the light passing through its thin skin and onto the leaf, make the frog appear Brenner and color matching more closely with the leaf. The jungle canopy is filled with leaves, but it's also filled with predators, birds, snakes, mammals, and even invertebrates in search of their next meal these animals acquaint. Visual Systems are pretty cute into finding differences luminance brightness between different patches. So the quite good at finding prey based on differences between the background on the animals brightness and by being translucent sees folks are able to have an adaptive camouflage. So regardless of whether the leaf is dark or bright if the glass frog is sitting on it, it will appear to change to more closely matches background the study by Barnett and calling is in the proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. With around one hundred, fifty known species of glass frogs in the World Barnett says the next project is to find out if the franc's translucence may differ based on their individual habitats. One thing is certain. It'll be hard to see what they find.

You know you couldn't do you like you felt helpless and you've always been Sarah's protector tie fell like I failed and you were the last member of her family to say goodbye to a big pill swallow. You helped her get ready for a night out. I painted. Yes he never could have known. You never know you should always tell you loved ones. You Love Them. He really don't know. His deep sorrow was clouded by anger and suspicion. Now that the search for Sarah was over it was time to find her killer so far. Detectives had made no arrests. But Nick had his eye on someone he was the only one. I just wanted to rip his heart out of him coming up. That's a big deal tremendous deal a telltale piece of evidence. It's almost like it. I need to do something more here than than just searched. It was so many unanswered questions. Like I felt like I had to find stuff out. And she had no idea of where to start. Turns out. Sarah was on a Laura's family cell phone plan that meant a Laura had access to Sarah's phone records so she pulled them up on herself but did you find anything that jumped out at you just random numbers that I've never seen before the same number as over and over again like back and forth. Did you start calling any of the numbers? I didn't and what kind of response where you're getting. You recall last week. The party. That's about it. Nobody knew anything as Laura scrolled through. "As one day passed then two then. Three four and five still no sign of Sarah for her family. The not knowing was unbearable. Think deep down you hope like if you founder like maybe. She was still alive and shoes breathing. You might be able to help her each night. Sarah sisters brothers cousins her entire extended family piled into one house comforted by the closeness. And we all stayed at my mom's house. Everything lay on the floor couches. Kitchen brooms we everybody. Within their sleep you heard the helicopters. We went back out we out all hours of the night. If we heard of helicopter we all jumped on or follow it or if we heard a police car we will. We're GONNA find it. They were relentless using the Hashtag. Find Sarah Good. They organized a massive search effort covering miles and miles. How grueling was the search. It was horrible his bed. It was raining some days. It was seeming hot. Even if there was high you're still in layers because her in woods and you didn't want the Pixel and every day no answer town family and friends searched places like this Smith Point County Park. Sarah loved and the tick infested woods near where her car had been found. For three sisters Jennifer Tabitha and Samantha. The search was especially difficult. All three of you were pregnant during the search just added to how hard it was spur probably worse because I know by the end of the day. My feet were so swollen. They couldn't shake another feeling paranoia. I didn't know who did it so even when we were searching. I was like maybe that could did it. You know I don't know it could have been somebody right under your nose. Was that kind of frightening to think of that. Yeah I was afraid that they were searching with us You know we're staring down people and then even when you're going in the store you like staring at people because you you don't know you did it and maybe you took my sister where to put her and they weren't about to sit back and wait for police to find. Sarah in what seemed like parallel investigations. Everyone detectives talk to the family. Tried to talk to as well. One person or sisters hadn't been able to reach was Sarah's childhood friend Jason Flora's he was the one. Sarah dropped off before going home that night. Since he was the last person known to be with her before she vanished. They called his cellphone. We've tried Cuban however answered. Did anyone worry that he could have been involved or know something. Yeah we don't know how or why. But we just thought he was there with her and just speculated he had to have something to do with it not about to sit around and wait for Jason's call Sarah's brother in law. Nick and his large posse went out looking for him. You couldn't find him. Do you think that was on purpose? On Jason's part I think at that point. The word was out that we were out looking and we were going to do whatever and how to take to get answers. So wherever got the word or hide him pretty good? Do you think Jason was nervous? Worried that you looking for him. Yeah yes absolutely. Because he wasn't making himself readily available to that. Say anything to you. That's what you gotta say to yourself. Does he know something? Obviously you know she was with him. He's gotTa know something. What Nick didn't know was the real reason Jason was MIA. He was behind bars. Detectives had brought him in for questioning and discovered he had an unrelated harassment warrant so they were able to detain him. Two Days Jason was with investigators. Yes he spent a significant amount of time with six precinct. Detective can they feel like? Hey if you know we have to find Sarah if you know something tell us. Oh absolutely. He's the last person that she drops off. So you know at this point you have to look at these people very seriously and you have to make sure that they're telling you the truth. Prosecutor Albertson says Jason Story was consistent. And he was adamant that he had no idea where Sarah was. Did they take his DNA as well they did. He consented and he gave them his handprints again. Handprints not your typical police request in a missing person's case the reason police were collecting them would soon become clear. Jason also agreed to turn over the clothes he was wearing the night. Sarah went missing. His encounter with police all seemed very cooperative. Everything is not what it seems. But when Jason Florus sat down to speak to us he says visit with detectives at six precinct was like a scene out of a bad cop. Film detectives call me and I- willingly went there. Obviously because I would not go you know what I mean the police so we get there this and that he goes from Mister Nice Guide of. We know you know where she is. No one read me my rights. What were they asking you? What kind of questions? It went from How do you know Sarah to where is she you you know she is? Yeah you were an eagle a stage. Where the where you last night just ripping my mind apart and he. It didn't get easier when he was left alone in the jail cell. Make me go crazy and cry in the cell all night. You actually were crying. I was crying myself to see on a roll of toilet. Paper is my pill. What were you thinking about for Sarah I was worried. I was concerned because she had a lot to lose beautiful baby beautiful family. Nice job. Good career himself. Did you have anything to do with Sarah's disappearance now one bit after two days they let him go but warned him to stay close. Did you feel like when you were walking out of that police department? They weren't done with you. They still no. I knew they weren't. How many times did they come talk to you already? Plus the police declined to comment on Jason's claims of how he was treated by detectives. As for Sarah's family they had their own suspicions. Her family was convinced me. Yeah how did you know that the cops made it seem like that? Did you feel like you were enemy number? One most definitely I felt so targeted and they've found Sara's family and friends were becoming more and more desperate. They didn't know who was behind her disappearance so they kept digging and finally hit a solid lead coming up so many unanswered questions. I just had to find stuff out our best friends. Hunch and an eagle-eyed neighbor I was wondering what is he doing? Help put someone new on the radar. You actually followed him. I really really thought he would lead us to Sarah..

"On Saturday. June seventh two thousand fourteen single mom. Sarah good didn't show up to a family birthday party where she was supposed to pick up her four year old daughter Jocelyn. No one in the family could reach her all day. Her Sister Lizzie. Says she knew something was terribly wrong. When Sarah didn't respond to messages that her daughter was asking for her. Nelson's column my mom I said. Caller McCall during a went to voicemail. So that's when I I just thought something was not right because she would always answer. Especially if you mention. Jocelyn it's heartbreaking when you think that the little girl wants to talk to her mom and you can't find her When Sarah still hadn't appeared by Sunday afternoon Lizzie went to the police station to report her missing. I said I need a report her now. That report set things in motion prosecutor. Janet Albertson who was brought onto this missing person's case from the beginning learned that on the day Sarah was a no show at the party. A woman had spotted a blue abandoned next to a wooded lot. A police officer had responded to that location thinking that maybe this is a stolen car. The plates were were bent. Albertson says the BMW was found less than a mile from Sarah's Mother's house where Sarah Joslyn also lived the officer Ran The plate number. It came back to Sarah good with an address and after that he went to Sarah's home and there was nobody there because as we leader learn they were at the birthday party around. The same time. Lizzie was at the police station. That officer noticed the abandoned car was still in the same spot. The officer radios it in again and at this point now. Sarah's family reported her missing. Some things were really clicking now exactly once. It came back as a missing person. Well now. They've got a reason to really pay attention and her beloved car was the biggest clue. Detectives needed the spare key. So they headed over to Sarah's house sister Jennifer was there and she desperately wanted to know. Where was the car? I just remember overhearing one detective. Tell the other detective that the car is an evil estates and then I was on the phone with Nick and that's when I told them like he's he said Eagles dates and then we all followed them that you went straight there to where the car will told us not to go follow him and I said I am following. Eagle estates was a place. They knew well because it was so close by a large entourage of Sarah's family headed over there and tried to approach her BMW but police wouldn't let them get too close. What was that like seeing her car. There one of them to tell you it was hard and scare was. They wouldn't let us go. We're not let us narrow it. The police had a job to do. So things got heated. Sarah sister say they shouted at detectives and detectives shouted back. Only we yelling at them. I was like open the trunk young until you guys have to Lee. Did you say no? I'm not leaving you know. Did you leave? Did but then they threatened they would arrest us so obviously. We don't want to be arrested so we did. And we've kind of because we kept on circling around in our cars instead of our feet. But I wasn't gonNA leave her if she was in there later that night. The family finally got some answers. Detectives told them. Sarah was not in the car. Were you trying to hold onto hope trying to to yeah hope turn to action? The family got organized in a big way. Everybody came to my house and then we we just started searching anywhere we thought to even just go. We just want. How many search volunteers are we talking about? There was at least two hundred. The first day pretty humbling because you can see how many people that you touched and cared about her. Yeah just put it together in an hour on you know off social media and you know this is how we how many people we have right now but there's more people on the way and there's already people searching beyond searching. This large family started. Its own investigation making calls and combing through Social Media. Checking facebook's makes an update anything. The professional detectives were also looking at Sarah's online life. Piecing together clues from the Friday night. She went missing. They started with that picture. She posted on Instagram of her freshly painted nails. They learned she was at Nick's house around six. Pm AND FROM THE PICTURE. They could see what she was wearing. She had on a tank tops and very unique tank. Top over it with an owl face and her headband. Police then confirm that after Sarah. Kissed her daughter. Goodbye and left her brother-in-law's house. She drove to a friend's place. She hooked up with a friend of hers. A childhood friend By the name of Jason Flora's a timeline was coming together. She picked up Jason in her. Bmw She and Jason had referred to each other cousins because they've been neighbors growing up when they were younger but they had drifted apart. She had really just kind of connected with Jason about two weeks before at six fifty one. Pm A second selfie. Jason took a Selfie of the two of them where you can see soured driving. And she's so happy. I mean she was just beaming you know. She just looked like a happy kid like for her first night out in a while. They picked up Brandon Allen a good friend of Jason's and a new friend of Sara's and headed over to a small gathering a dozen or so young people hanging out in this front yard. Investigators estimate they stayed there about forty minutes before they left. They took this group shot at ten eighteen PM. That Sarah in the pink sweatshirt next Jason. Where does she go to she go home? No point she and Jason are going to go back to Brandon's house who lives on only around the corner. So Sarah Drove Jason and Brandon back to Brandon's house where they watch the Hobbit a moving around one o'clock in the morning Jason Sarah's childhood friend wanted to leave. Sarah agreed to drive him home after she dropped him off. He sent her a text at one. Seventeen am basically saying or your home. Okay she responds. Yes and we know. That's want Jason's phone because the police have taken his phone to download the information. All this seemed routine. Then something ominous on Sarah's twitter feed her brother in law. Nick learned that days before Sarah went missing. She had tweeted. So you know I live on a dead end I see you creep in and a second one getting threatened for days now. Is that the new thing to do that. End Part really is the one that that got to me like with someone following her. Did she get to the House and so on attacker dog that end very dark where she parks? They're very creepy posted. Yes very creepy. No one had any idea who or what she was referring to. There were so many questions and Sarah's brother-in-law wanted answers with the help of some large friends neck went looking for anyone who was with Sarah. The night she vanished. He sounded more like a detective than a floor. Refinisher who is she talking to? Who Do you see her talking to who you see less leave with at the party? Who She who? She was socializing with your big strong neck. And you want to be like you know what I want to put this to us and go find out some information here. I did want answers. His mean five of the biggest guys. You could probably imagine how come on your door was getting you really hot under the collar. No no I wasn't getting nothing from anybody so that's got to be frustrating in itself. Nobody's standing out. Nobody standing out. Everybody was really sincerely telling the truth but there was someone in particular. Nick wanted to question. Sarah's ex boyfriend their two year relationship had just ended and Sarah's family was getting suspicious no one can say what was really going on between them why they split but we thought we know him well enough to you know we thought he was a great guy and she loved him. And you don't know everybody you know you don't know exactly what someone is capable of doing. We don't it's not easy to just trust people that way and he didn't show up to work the day after she went missing coming up new questions about the X. There are a whole bunch of rumors going around about DJ and his family. The mother had threatened her. The detective did say Nick. You really can't trust nobody at this point right now. When did line continues.

"I want to do this with you. Won't make comedy. Let's not do that. And you know what. There's too much comedy. Don't you think there's too much comedy and I think that's why I started. This podcast is to try and stop it. I like to get very funny people here and then get them talking about serious issues. Let's get serious. Let's get uncomfortable. no-one no-one says that with that tone one of voice. I always forget that. You and Sandler are from New Hampshire. Because you don't seem anyone listening right now has a perception. Shen of what. Someone from New Hampshire is like then Sarah Silverman and Adam Sandler don't fit that mold. We don't represent New Hampshire. Well Seth Meyers to from there. He's from the same town. Because we're from Manchester. And then we moved to Bedford stuff. I could kind of see it. I could see him wearing a hat with ear flaps. Tragedy big thick boots. I could just to see a little bit. I know what you're saying. Adam and I are big fat Jews and you. Just don't see that in Hampshire said it and I couldn't let me do this for Korea letting me do this far you thanks for finishing my sentence. People all growing up. When I was growing up in New Hampshire they'd go where in New Yorker worker from and I'd go what's New York? I'm from a year and then you know so now I realize it's because they go. Jews are from New York and the right yes but I didn't know she's Jenny on the block. She's means she's from Brooklyn. She's from Staten Island. She's you know what I mean. I lost my virginity in a story. Acquaints Breath Really WanNa talk about that or should we just maybe not top tier. I was I was a comedian to comedian. Okay this is Jeff Dunham. Yeah was it was at Jeff Dunham or one of his puppets does he have the puppets with him. It was the skeleton like Turbine Guy. Just like you revealed that it was Sir guy. With puppets and Pros Gallagher to gallagher elegant to is who Hugh Gallagher Sold His yes gallagher soldiers hall act to his brother Yes and they called him gallagher too. I remember hearing the radio ADS and they did it in a tricky way. They go do you like gallagher. I like gallagher too hill. And he's playing at Blah Blah Blah. Oh piss for those people when they showed up and it was a different guy who looked like gallagher smashing mellon could they they know. Yeah Ah there was no disappointment at all. Yeah okay well losing virginity in one thousand nine hundred a little later that really. How old are you? Ah during Obama's second term Syria. Were you under twenty three. Yes twenty parents. Listen to this. And I'm still Jill Hyper Catholic. Positive your parents this year right into it. Yes I was under twenty one I was under twenty saw good. You know you're seventeen seventeen. Let's just say was a magical moment in my life was not a comedian. I wasn't in the comedy world then Dan. I wanted to be in the comedy hall. I wanted we had to go there. Our guest is Jim backus playing Thurston Howell the fall lovey. You did impression. That's a good one. Oh lovey let me start by saying something very positive and when I say start right I mean we've already been talking. We start recording. I think we've been taught recording for over four hours. You know I love. I love a lot of things about you. Do you do something real. I thought was hilarious on my show recently. which is you came on dressed as Hitler and you were upset that people were comparing bring you to trust? That was so great but I thought there was a somebody's idea on your staff a really. Oh my God I didn't know you but you in love today it credit for a but I may have tweaked to thing here or there. Whatever we're but like no the idea was someone? I wish you were Whoever thought of it you're the only person that could do it? And it was clear and you came out of the cell hat. Do you came out. And first of all you were a very attractive Hitler which was confusing And confused me for a while but then your attitude was just very eh reasonably upset that people keep. Yeah it was bad but I'm not that bad and it was so funny and there's a lot of Political comedy that I admire. It's just that it can get very shrill and angry and this was visually so silly and so wrong and so well played that I just thought yeah in a way that that's the kind of political comedy alike. Just it's it's absurdist noticed and somehow to me it speaks to me more than if you would just come out and had fifteen trump jokes and l.. I prefer aggressively aggressively dumb. And silly you know especially if you might have something quote unquote to say because otherwise you just. If if it doesn't visions dozens isn't sandwiched with really dumb Shae. You're just I feel like as a viewer I'd be like fuck you. Yeah well this is. What's interesting right now in comedy is that? There's there's this expectation that if you're not speaking truth to power as a comic you're copping out of the big struggle right now and I think what's interesting being your first job as a comedian is to be funny and then you've got to figure out how to reconcile that with what's happening but you can't just get mad because then you're not a comedian anymore. So it makes sense but it's so silly because doing comedy is figuring out like what you care about what you're interested. I didn't what you want to talk about. So it's like I had a comic friend. Call me and he was like I feel like I'm not talking about what's going on in the world and like I I like I'm my stuff isn't about anything political and I feel like guilty about it and I was like that's such a gift you know like people the need that I remember my mom before she i. I'm not glad you died. Obviously but like in a way. I'm relieved she didn't see like she died. Thinking Hillary Hillary or burning were gonNA be residential wages before that so like but she would watch msnbc not she was the opposite of the Fox News like she and constantly on that like daily coast and she would get so worked up. And I'd be like mom you have to sometimes just watch a bones. I something like for me. I watch law and order or something like but you've gotta it's now healthy to just be until jump in and say I don't think she should've watched a bone. Yeah I'm okay with law and order. Okay bones I liked the first two seasons and then they lost me so I'm glad that I hope that's not what your mother was doing. When she passed away? You know she was struggling debris.

Some of it has Fung the other way. That's why you know. I feel like I honestly like I feel like that's a big part of why Donald Trump got elected because he is actually someone who says whatever he wants without any repercussion, and it's so freeing to most people a lot of people do find them to be his champion their champion because he gets to say, whatever he wants. And he doesn't have to you know, nothing happens to them. And I think for a lot of Americans they feel silenced. Yeah. And I know the field literally, just yeah. Just shooting the shit. I just to just like cemetery that I've had for years and years and years, and like now it's like harder to tell that material because more people are worried, and I'm like, you're not really offended. You're just worried someone's going to think that you're not offended and that as a fence. Think really job Sarah of like just pointing out like do. See how ridiculous is like. "All right. Well, we're going to dive into this conversation. I had with my friends, and I want to do a quick introduction of who is on this. And if you are not familiar, and you want to know what the heck we're talking about. We did this. This at our gathering last year and recorded onto the podcast. So if you want to hear more about the origin story of this group of friends that is on the friendship episode of selfie episode Twenty-one, which will be linked up in the show notes of this episode. You don't have to listen to that. I am. I just give some interesting context. Once you've listened to this one. So this is a chat with Jen. Hat maker. She's an author and speaker she wrote for the love and of messing moxie. It's also with Jamie, right. She is the author of a very funny and poignant book called the very worst missionary. It's with Sarah Bessie who wrote Jesus feminist and out of sorts, and my friend Tara lives say who is a midwife who runs heartline Haiti maternity center in Haiti she's a total bad ass. Now. Our group is rounded out by a six member, Sarah Goodfellow, who Sarah, you also know, but circa fellow refuses to join us on our recorded shots, which I love she's like, you know, what not doing I have no interest or time for. This. I love it. But sir Goodfellow is a mom of four and she does say families. So she is often taking in kids who are in need of shelter. And she and her husband also started the Peru arm of crochet kids. So guess great group of women, and this is really us just chatting about how we went deeper in our friendship together. Hi, everybody..

"Well, lady. Threes. How it starts? No. I promise I won't be because I actually really don't like the look of well, the lion lady looks like that because of fillers not because about talks, I'm just saying this is a gateway Kristen I know talks is a gateway to the still really don't like that filler, look, especially in the lips or I don't I don't want to plump things up. And I don't care. I've said this before I don't really care about wrinkles a care about looking angry. But with the whole forehead did I will say is I am starting to. I've always had the eleventh have had the eleven since I was like twenty a high. But the the lines that go across the forehead, what are those called? I don't know. But I have a lot of those. You know what I'm talking about? Go cross a horizontal lines the horizontal lines. Yes. Those just completely went away. Oh, wow. And I didn't think I cared about those until they went away. And now, I'm like, oh, I never want to get those against gosh. I know scared. Listen, not all of us can pull up bangs, Sarah. I know I'm sitting over here. Like so smug because of the bangs, but no because I would be I would definitely I was thinking about that today. I was washing my face. I had my bangs pinned back, and I thought to myself, you know, really, it would be really bothersome to me if I was looking at my forehead all the time because it is I have. So I talk with my eyebrows raised at all times. I have since I was little so I mean, I have tons of those lines. And also my thing is I've always had we've talked about this a little bit. I have hooded is. And now now like they're really getting saggy where the hood of my eyelid rests on my lashes in some mornings, it's so bad that I now have I have a crease in my hood, like my Hutton falls down. And it's so heavy that like it folds on its self. It's right. It's not good. But the bang your mom or dad have that. Yes. And have they done anything about it? No. And they and you know, they look fine. They both are aging gracefully. You know? I'm on. Has anything? I mean, they both. They. Oh, thank you so much. I will tell her that she'll be very thrilled. But you know, my banks actually helped because my banks kind of mankind of rest on my eyelids. So it kind of hides it all I'm telling you. I will never get rid of these bangs because the hiding so many two things I wish I could pull off the I haven't how like yeah. Why do I have to? I mean mine is really extreme. And it's right there up at the front. I mean, I can do a side swept bang, but that doesn't really help conceal your four hate, right? And I just have like way. I mean, it is when I and I've had banks. They're so high maintenance for me, they're super high maintenance. I mean, I just feel like I'm constantly like every activity is just like, well, what's the bang with the Bank fallout going to be totally if I go on this boat ride or if I yeah. Yeah. That's so true. That's so true bang fall out like, I'm like, oh, I'd love to go hiking. But my bangs. Yeah. It is. It's a thing. It's definitely a thing. I will say the longer you have them..

"We'll Sarah what is up with you and self care this week. Kristen. Wow. Oh, jeez. The menstrual Cup. To not. Oh, well, I have feelings about it uninformed feelings because I've never tried it. But have you? I have informed feelings. Okay. Well, can't wait to hear. Well, this is the first this is the first month, and I have heard from everyone that it is like life changing. But that there is definitely a learning curve. I'm sure I'm here to tell you that there is a learning curve. And I'm I'm in it. I'm in the midst of the curve right now trying to figure out how to like put this thing in my vagina. Yeah. Okay. So you know, there's like a thousand different kinds now right there just to be that one diva Cup the because like the right? But then I heard, you know, oh, no that one doesn't fit Bob LA. So my good friend. Lisa who I turn to for all of these things she has a tilted uterus. Like I do. So do I will then listen up, my friend, listen up. So she tried all of them. And I'm not saying that, you know, my Jonah's exactly like leases, and we're all the same year. Right. But we have tilted uteruses. So I bought the salt Cup. It's spelled S A LT. And this one is supposed to be great for tilted uteruses. They have two different sizes. They have like a small, and then it's kind of a regular bought the light combo pack because the Smalls for lighter days. I thought I needed to know like the relative size of your vagina thought to. That's what I thought too. I'm like, do you measure you get a tape measure and like stick it up there? I don't know. But so I bought the two. And then of course, you know, me I read the instructions eighty seven times shirt to make sure I didn't miss anything to one amid Asian YouTube videos, watching YouTube videos or streak different ways to insert it, you can fold it differently. You can make a C cap or a seven or like, I don't even know. The thing is before we get into insertion that these cups. You only have to change them basically in the morning and at night. So it's like you put it in the morning you can wear all day long. And then take it out at night, rents it out do your thing. And then put it in for me that is like miracle miraculous because I have a pretty heavy period. And I'm changing my tank wall my happiest days, I change a Tampa on every forty minutes and I'm wearing period panties on top of that. Right. Perryman apaz. Hello, forty four. But that's what I want in my life. I also don't want to deal with just buying all of the pads in Tampa. And all the stuff. I just this is my dream to have a menstrual Cup. Like this what I want Kristen. But it's like really hard to get it up there. I am sure. Like, I figured out that it's like you been into a C, you place it up there and it works by sections like you kind of release it. You you do a little bit of a twist which creates a suction. So the blood basically can't get around it an out of you. But I've I haven't figured it out yet. I would recommend people not trying this for the first time while you're having your period. Just it's mass. Yeah. But I want to I've never wanted to try when it just sounds like a giant mess. I know I know Krista. But like Lisa told me, she said okay first month. It was so weird. And she's like now, it's just the best thing that's ever happened to me like she's like, it's just you'd get it. Like, you understand your hand your brain gets put it in there without so I am hoping by the end of here's one of the questions. I've always had is. I'm like, okay. What do you do if you have to go to the bathroom in a public place, and you've got to wash this out in public sink? Like, so is it basically you can leave. It in the whole day twelve hours pre ablation, this would've looked like a crime. It would have been cloudy. I know like I have Klotz to I always get that. You've got the ablation..

"It's easier than I even thought it was going to be. Yeah, it's great. All right. Well, let's we're going to take a break and then we're going to come back and I'm going to do some high performance karate free. Back to wriggles picks. I'm Sarah Tana. We had a listener Paul, Paul Thompson poll Thompson. He wanted us to do a tabs on traps tabs on trying to. Whereas he Chandler sumit's in Kansas, Kansas City. Okay. And he is working with Pepsi. Apparently he's got a Pepsi bobblehead that is out there and available. So I think he's pretty stoked about that. His beard is on point. I mean, he's knotting yes. Over and over head is anyway. He looks cool with it. Travelex. Good. He did. He looked so bummed on Sunday night. I wanted to just give them a hug for at least twenty minutes, All right. but know. In a fun way. Now we're off to the racist because we have that undefeated monkey off our back. So people are going to be harping on that. Now we get back to football and get back to Walpin ass. Yeah, like the the the chefs have been doing all year. Yeah, which I think we picks them in our twenty eight are not our pick them week the this is the the bet online pick them. So we have, here's our choices for this week. We took Kansas City at home over Cincinnati, which has been moved to the Sunday night game. We're taking the chargers in London over Tennessee. We're taking Philadelphia at home over Carolina New Orleans on the road at Baltimore, and our lock of the week is the Rams at San Francisco. So all those picks on what I would call locks locks, mortal lax. Can take that to the Bank and if you want to do something else, watch bet. Which is laid out. Your week picks, would you lay down our week pick.

"Ooh. Because I have so often been in that experience. Like for example, you go to the Hollywood bowl, you can bring your own wine, but then you like you're not allowed to bring a glass in. Yeah. So I talked about these stainless steel wine glasses that I have, which I still really like. But I just found another version and they're silicone. And they're really nice. So they're silicone shaped in the shape of a wine glass. They have stems stem loss stem list. Okay. So you can pop them in a bag. Papa Minna purse, drink your wine, whether you're out on a picnic or at a concert, and then you can just pop it back in your persons. Not gonna break. Okay, that's awesome. Do. Yeah, they're awesome. Is simple. What do they look like? They have like, are the color were? Well, I got them in white, but they do have which I debated. Yeah, because I thought about getting them in colors because then if you're in a group of people, everyone knows which is their class. Yeah, you know, like you go to a concert with a bunch of other people and that way like it's not like which one is yours, but I did get them in simple white because I thought they were prettier. Oh, of course, of course. Simple. Modern. Yeah. Okay. Good to know I need. I need stuff for our outside. We actually have a backyard that you know people like to hang out at the real place that I started. Using them was on a vacation where you weren't allowed to bring glass down to the pool. Exactly. Wanna bring like a little Rosa down to the pool. So you bring in your silicone? Yeah, I need some pool glasses for sure. You should try those. All right. I'm going to do a quick reading of one of our items reviews. You guys. We so appreciate when you go down to. I tunes and post a little review for us.
