"Any Valentine's stuff for men. I'm gonna tell your grandson Joseph dancing. I'm gonna tell Joseph then to catch it. Cancel canceled teddy's cake, all right? Why? What's the matter? Is he allergic to whipped cream with some? No, just allergic to men sending him. Otherwise no, he's fine with the cream. Along those lines, Ted, I'll tell you a funny story. Yesterday when I came back from my run, I see, I never really look at Facebook, but I heard a little notification. I direct the message on Facebook. And I open it up and it's from a guy, and it says, hello, handsome, but I'm Friends with the guy, but I don't sometimes I accept a friend request. I don't think about it. So I said back to him, I said, I said back to him and said, hey, buddy. I'm assuming if we're friends on Facebook, you can see that I'm a married man with four children. This feels a little bit awkward that you would send me a message like this, but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're just trying to be friendly. And then I said, it's just very, it's just a very awkward greeting, the scent to a straight man. What are you getting at? And he's like, oh, sorry, I'm just being friendly and then I just unfriended and moved on, but I was like, I don't have a problem with anyone's preference, but what am I sending out that says like, hey, let me take a shot at this guy. You're never gonna have to worry about me calling your head. That's one thing. Listen, you can call me him. We could be together for another 15 years. And I hope we are. But you never hear me, hey, handsome. Certainly not starting out in opening like hello, handsome. Hi. My first response is, you know I'm straight, right? Okay, I'm cool with whatever you are. That's cool, but when you say hello, handsome to me, it's like calling a girl like, hey, sexy. Which also would be inappropriate, but I'm not that guy. This is a great show. And you know what? You people, you know, we love you out there where they have for you. We had 280,000 subscribers now. Well, if you like what we do and you appreciate it the way we appreciate you guys, please subscribe and please get your friends to subscribe because I want Ken wants rob ones. We want the knobs to go up. I want to hit 300,000 real fast. And then I want to go higher. I want to go higher. I want to go higher. I want to go to a million, but so guys, if you really like what we're doing and want us to keep doing it, come on, get those subscribers in it. And so the media outlets, we love you guys. Just please cite us. Prominently, if you're going to use a line from the podcast in the title of your article, no problem. Just say teddy Atlas on his podcast to fight with teddy allis said he thinks Jake Paul can win, not just teddy Ellis, thinks he can win. And then you write the article like you did an interview with teddy. I mean, come on, man. Let's share the love here. If we see something on your podcast like the Chael Sonnen podcast, I'll cite it. Hey, I like chill son and take on his podcast. Well, that's the way that I think the appropriate to do such things. One other thing I've finished with Ken is that I just thought it was beautiful. I love it. I just love seeing our man. Again, our man volcanos goes on there. We got a few Poirier of course, but at a side who's been on our show a couple times and it's great trying to gene. Seeing out of Sanya there, ringside Sheeran on his teammate. I loved it. You know, his teammates were both his teammates for volcano and there are two worries that two gladiators. You could just see it. And he's like, yeah, yeah, he's jumping around. It meant as much to him as it did to volkanovski. Like he was in there with him. Yeah, but you can not feel it. I will get that vibe like it's like even amongst ourselves on the podcast. If one of us got an award in a lot of ways, it's almost like if you win an award, when you went to the Hall of Fame part of me felt like rob, can you believe we made it to the Hall of Fame? We did it. That's great. That's what makes it special, having people to share with. Yes. Otherwise, what is success without people to share with? That's right. It's hollow. It's hollow. It's just an item. It says an item. You only get to keep what you're willing to give away. Hey, speaking of Oz, a guy reached out to me on Instagram and said, hey, we'd love to get you down here to Australia for the Melbourne marathon in October. I said, hey, if someone wants me to come down and run the marathon and it's willing to get me down there, I'm with it. I love the Aussies and I'd love to come down and run their marathon in October. Beautiful country, beautiful country. Great people. Really? Outdoorsman and sportsman and just people that appreciate our competition and appreciate sport. Yeah, that would be that would be nice. I would be tremendous. I can't go with you because I'm not allowed in the country, but. I said the truth on the national broadcast and ESPN saying that John Horner actually lost the backyard. And they forget about it that I said he's, you know, he's not the great fighter you think he's a top son of a gun. I get more the credit in the world. Okay, you got the title. He's going to make some money. I love it. I love it, but he's going to get destroyed by Crawford. Oh no, no. Okay, he got this drug by talking. But Jeff horn, Jeff horne, not John. But and to that point. If it had anything to do with nationality, we wouldn't be fawning all the volkanovski and Adesanya. It's just we just talk about facts. There's nothing else matters. Nationality, ethnicity. The only thing that matters here is the truth. And so I'm pretty sure though that volk can get you a Visa now that he's in the driver's seat he's praying practically that governor now one other thing I add to when we were talking about how much I had both of us appreciate seeing how to Sonya Sheeran for his teammate. But it's not just a guide sharing. It's another samurai. Samurai. Really, they understand the code of conduct of the risk of the realm that they live in that they competed and so the appreciation that he's in there with this monster and he's doing what he has to do and he's shocking the world or at least part of the world by doing it. His appreciation was just so palatable where yeah, yeah, yeah. Because he knows what he's up against. He knew what he was being challenged by. And it was really, it was nice. I really loved it. And again, he's got it all volcanos. You know, not just a talent and that he's improved on a mat and all that stuff. But that it factor. To have his back to the guy and then he's back back in with this. And as he's talking, as he's talking, and he's basically talking to the audience, he's talking to Michael chaff. I mean, wow, you talk about theater. You talk about something being dramatic. That had everything. It had everything you need in a great event. The only thing missing was a Chinese spy balloon or a UFO. Yeah, that's coming. That's probably come back. That sounds like the great distraction everywhere. They're everywhere. They're everywhere. Wonder what they're trying to distract from with all this nonsensical news. All of a sudden this UFO is coming up that have no propulsion sent trillions of miles from other planets and we shot it down with a jet that can only stay in the air for a 120 minutes without getting fuel. Yeah, meanwhile, we waited, we waited like a week to shoot it down. Why bother? Mission complete.

"Much for coming I want to follow up now on that story really good just told us about what President Biden is concerned that the oil companies are not producing enough oil and they're getting profits that are too high We turn now to an energy expert professor Sanya Carly of Indiana University where she is co director of the energy justice lab So professor thank you so much for being with us Is there anything as a practical one of the president can do to get production up and profits down Well thank you for having me And I think that the best avenue is to have those conversations with major oil companies to find out if it is possible to increase production Although as we all know oil prices are impossible to predict and they are very much political as much as they are economics So those conversations could be crucial but we don't quite know So one of the things the president said is he's going to use emergency powers to increase refinery capacity because one of the issues as I understand it is a bottleneck here It's not just the crude oil but it's refined products Is that doable in the near or medium term Well it's doable if there is if it's possible to affect those bottlenecks essentially but we are dealing with many many supply chain issues across the United States as we know across the world And this is just one of many So it may be possible it may not be It's still to be seen One of the issues that's been discussed at least is the so called windfall profits tax something that now the United Kingdom is imposed already And it's being talked about here In fact yesterday we talked with the deputy director of the national economic council in Washington and asked him quite specifically is a windfall profits tax on the table And here's what he said We're open to a number of different.

It's true. And I wasn't standing over her when she opened it. But the thing was, even I tried to let her off the hook about it in Mexico at the time. I kept trying to say, you probably didn't know. But you know what? She's never wrong. There's no accountability for anything. And it's always someone else's fault. It's interesting. Did you watch this episode? Nope. You are really not doing it. You know what? I'm going to have to watch it because I'm going to do a little wrap up podcast. Heather dubrow's world wherever you get your podcasts. And so I will be watching it probably in the car on the way back to The O.C. right after this. Are you going to be talking about it on how to do wellsboro, wherever you get podcasts? Yes, it will be. Tomorrow. Friday, on another rose world. Anywhere you get your pockets. Do you think that she will let this go? So here's what's interesting. Okay, so here's my little scoop now. Yeah. I am going to talk about this more on the podcast, how the president was wearing a podcast. But what I would say is this, you know, when we ended the reunion, and I haven't seen it, so I don't know where it happened. At the end, but we ended the reunion. Everything seemed fine. I feel like everything was aired. I feel like we got everything out and there was a very nice sense of communities Ferrari. And moving forward. But what some people then end up putting on their Instagram and out there for all the bloggers to pick up on, really doesn't track with that and goes backwards. And that's where I have a problem. Revisionist history. What really just taken a U turn and going back to what are we talking about, who? Oh wait, hold on, hold on. There was a rumor back in the day. Yeah. That you guys got a added bonus if you didn't air dirty laundry on Twitter. No, well, this was after my time, but I believe what happened was, if people got nasty, there was a fine. Oh. Oh my God, SpongeBob bravo, honey. Isn't that the life's blood of these shows though? Don't they want that? No, they want it in front of the camera. We don't want it on Twitter. Gotcha. Oh, that we can get talk about it was a big night for the stars at the sag awards and for our girlfriend Jessica too. She talked to Will Smith right after he won. I certainly did, Justin, it was so exciting. I had so much fun. He was amazing. We talked backstage about what the night meant to him, and he got pretty emotional with the interview. And the actor goes to Will Smith. That may have been one of the greatest moments of my career just now. Because my name was called for a king Richard sitting next to Venus Williams. When they said your name tonight, what came to mind will? I was sitting next to Venus. You know, and her sister isha was executive producer. Ingenue Ellis, you know, Sonia and Demi that girls who play Venus and Serena and it's like, you know, just all of these powerful black women that I'm giving the responsibility to protect and you know go out in the world and get them that flowers. Demand their flowers is that you got me got me out. I'm tripping. But it's just really, it was taken Sanya and Demi around the room all night, you know? They're like, I gotta meet. I've gotta meet Andrew Garfield. I gotta meet him. I feel something taking them. And it's like, I'm blessed to escort them through the doors that is business. I'm blessed to deliver Venus and Serena and their families story to the world. And Venus was like, you know, thank you for telling the world the truth about my daddy. You know, and it's like. "Welcome to Sanya podcast. So today we're going to be talking about multicultural in this day and age you have a lot of people that actually very diverse very multicultural or some that just violation. But more multicultural than biracial. So I feel like when you have multicultural children, you should give them the opportunity to learn about every part of their cultures and to choose who they want. To be. Let's take the two twins Tia and tomorrow, Maui. Now Tia is more to her African American mother's side and tomorrow is more to her Caucasian father side. But both girls know who they are. Like they know that they are actually bi ratio. And in this day and age, a lot of children should know all cultures. There shouldn't be where recently I've seen a friend of mine. And I said to her little girl, I said, what did you learn for black history? So she just you know, she did her shoulders like, um. I see you didn't learn anything for black history. She said, no, I said, what did your parents teach you for black history? She said, I'm not, I'm not black. I said, you have you looked at your dad. And then I looked at my friend and I said, what are you teaching her? She says she's like, I teach her that she's mixed. I'm like, so why would she say that to my friend rolls her eyes? So I'm like, you know, you have to teach your children because when you don't teach your children that they multicultural or ratio to child get confused. So the child, my family is multicultural. And growing up, we was taught about every race in our family. But we got to choose who we want to be..

Because I don't know, I struggle a little bit with some of the stuff on YouTube that those are sort of old games. It's a little bit too dry for me. I want to be entertained first and foremost and then informed 7th or 8th. So number one for me entertainment. And then two to three is monkeys and then, you know, further down the list of importance is information. Yeah, I like that because lucky say, you know, some YouTubers do take it too seriously. And I think that's one of the things I really enjoy about your content on YouTube is that you don't take yourself that seriously. And it's just fun. To watch, you know and it's just a laugh, really, isn't it? Well, it's cheap while what we sort of have done on the channel has changed a bit over the last year because of what happened with lockdown because I was making videos with doctor Paul gannon, who was a member of Martians and does that podcast. And then we couldn't get together. So I ended up starting starting to do videos with my wife, Sanya. But we then so that's become kind of the backbone of the channel, but then we do these specials like we'll do Supernatural world where we go out and try to find ghosts so UFOs or something. Resident Jennifer Campbell and the members of the City Council member Todd Glory, giving his first state of the city address here tonight on news radio 600 Kogo, Let's go now live to the mayor. Our region's elected officials, military leaders, tribal leaders are friends from Baja California and around the world. And the outstanding city workers who always go above and beyond, and we're truly essential this past year. Thank you. In a normal year. Would be speaking in a theater surrounded by hundreds of San Diegans who care deeply about our city. Tonight. I'm addressing you from the empty sand you see drove Branch library in one of the neighborhoods hardest hit by Cove in 19. This is the newest library in our system. It also happens to be one of the busiest. It is just one freeway exit from the US Mexico border, and it was built on ER how cultures merge in our mega region. Sanya seizure residents advocated for years for our library to reflect the character of their neighborhood. The design the art The fact that nearly every sign here is in English and Spanish is a testament to what we can build together when we work together. During the pandemic. This library had to close its doors, but it didn't stop service. We opened an outdoor lab for people to access WiFi and made it easy for patrons to pick up books they reserved online. City employees stepped up and got creative to get the job done. This library. What it means to this community is a symbol of who we should be as a city. It's a beautiful reminder of the importance of investing in traditionally underserved neighborhoods and proof of community perseverance during this pandemic. Also a reminder that far too long this community has been ignored. Prejudice and systemic racism have long held back the promise of America. Last week, we saw just how much progress still needs to be made. Violence that the capital and protests across the country are stark reminder that there are those who seek to undermine our democracy and sew discord. We need to unite now, more than ever has covert 19 continues to spread. No one can escape its impact. This past year, my partner and my father lost their jobs. My nieces and nephew have been struggling to keep focused on their education. Haven't held my mother in months. It is not lost upon me that compared to so many other San Diegans. I'm one of the lucky ones. Some of us have been isolated for close to a year. Some don't know how they're going to make ends meet. Businesses are struggling to stay afloat. Kids can't go to school. Our neighbors are dying. Even civic institutions like our city have not been spared. Pandemic has exacerbated longstanding city budget problems. The last administration did too little to address Behind the ribbon cuttings and news conferences, the city faced structural budget deficits. I've inherited a budget deficit that exceeds $150 million and will require difficult decisions to preserve neighborhood services. That hole in our budget is greater than what it takes to run our parks and recreation Department for year. It means that we're left with fewer resource is to fix our crumbling streets, city facilities and storm water systems. Due to the years long neglect of our infrastructure. It will cost nearly $6 billion just to meet our needs. We have no real idea how much devastation, climate change and coastal erosion will cost in the coming years. All of this is underscored by the fact that our city's workforce morale has been battered because they're overworked, underpaid and underappreciated. Honestly. State of our city is fragile right now. Have faith that it won't be for much longer. See at the core. Our city is strong because San Diegans are strong. We are resilient. We are fighters. We recognize that we are all connected. Even when we are apart. Together. I believe that we can and will solve the biggest problems of our time. We will lift each other up and create a future that is better for all of us. For the city. To accomplish this goal. We must first recognize that our battle with covert 19 is far from over. We keep shattering single day records for cases and deaths. Lost. Some call for things to go back to normal as soon as possible. It is clear that we cannot This is why it was important for me to take a different approach. My first executive order was to protect our hospital system and save lives. We need to hold accountable. Those who choose to blatantly and egregiously defy public health orders. The arrival of vaccines has given great hope. But the reality.
