"Mississippi State. The pitch, Miss. Now it's three. No fastball there from San Tian was up in a way to this left handed batter. And he is way behind the count on Nate Low. Here's the three Oh pitch and low looks at a strike. So last year playing with Tampa Bay got in 21 games. It was 15 for 67 of the plate to 24 clip and the pitch in there for strike and now Santillan's work back from being behind three balls and no strikes to fill up the count on A low nobody on one man out. Santy on has the sign he's ready his pitch. And low wax. It found the left side out of play. Down remains full three into you mentioned that Santy on a second round pick back in 2015. He was a High school product pitching against the team. He grew up watching the Texas Rangers. Sequin High School in Arlington, Tony San Tian. Drugs, the shoulders. He gets the sign and deals. The payoff pitch into the air left center field on the run The left fielder Aquino and he'll run it down to the warning track in deep left center in front of the fence by the Reds bullpen, pal Aristide. He's had a good jump on that ball, and it was hit well, too low went the other way with it on a little breaking ball on 32 count that Look, you know, we've seen him make some very good defensive place, including, of course, maybe one the best arms and in the organization from the outfield. Joey Gallo will stand in. Hello up with nobody on it. Two men out Santiago deals and it's in there for a called strike to count his own won. A lot of guys are scheduled to pitch for the Reds today, so this could be a day where Santiago was one inning and then everybody else after It's an ending of work. San Tian Drop Step in the pitch one. Mrs Up too high. It's a one ball one strike count on Joey Gallo. You're Tony Santiago. And you think you're pitching one inning? You better get out there and fill up the strike zone. Pitch behind the counter attack the hitters One ball, one strike and the pitch. This ball is hit high in the air and deep but foul down the right field line. You know, you say that a lot with Joey Gallo at the plate high in the air and deep This guy has light standard power. Other last year. Had a rough time of it hit. It hit a buck 81 during that shortened season last year, just never did get on track. Five home runs already this spring. Here's the 12 pitch, and it's just a little law breaking ball from Santiago. The count is even two balls and two strikes..

Seeing him out, there was reason to be happy. His goal reminded us of his quality. This is extremely important because we will need all of our players in the squad between now and the end of the season, and also highlighted today, the regime that ASENSIO has put himself through to get fit up to five daily sessions and his quote, iron, mentality and unconditional support of those around him for play himself. It's hard to see the point of signing him. With all of the new arrivals at Chelsea on Gula country's future is still uncertain. Now this is a significant step as the club had been looking for around seventy million, which for most of the. Live by greetings greetings ingredients. My amazing person may amazing listener. My amazing people former community. I so appreciate you for joining me for episode one hundred and Fifty Five of the entrepreneur. New podcast I'm Hanikos. What kiss portrait. Today's episode is with Dominique Dom Brightman. Dominique is an award winning speaker and certified member of the John. Maxwell team dumb hosts the going north. Podcast a top rated South podcast that interviews authors from all over the world and is also an author himself. His Mansur is advanced others to advance yourself. I'm looking forward as we are going to be talking about going north tips and techniques to advance yourself. Welcome dominy Oh so much You feel I feel good or at before we start chatting about self advancement and Helping others and tips all that jazz. From what you've heard about Jamaica. What stood out to you the most? Oh man a lot of stuff. So that's made the good weather and to make sure you hide when rain combs 'cause rains Kim's be ferocious down arear. Yes sometimes and talk about little weather. I was in California Dan. Oh my gosh. Believe me and it wasn't severely cold but for me it was extremely cold right. So yeah I'd rather is is is great. I I don't do well in coal tar any who. Let's talk about going north. We want some tips and techniques to advance ourselves. We need to get her head. We need to Move forward we need to improve ourselves. I D what does going north even mean. What's that yes indeed? So going north is embracing your dreams while helping others to embrace. There's like to sum it up into the phrase of advancing others to advance yourself because at the end the day were all here. Because of some one ak our parents and we're allowed to be here on this planet as long as we're allowed to be on his planet by the good Lord above in the skies. Some say because if we help others in other seat of goodness they help us to continue to live and succeed in some cases breed. So isn't it just important? You just you know what you want. Get ahead in life and forget everybody else and everything else no. Isn't that good enough. Oh No don't forget nobody those who have been good to you like if you have a mentor in your life will always acknowledged him especially if they're alive like my parents my first mentors especially when my father was the love. I thanked him and heck even John. Maxwell his books have changed my life and he himself mentions L. each change more lives. There is writing in his speech is because I've read his books before ever hearing him speak at gave my teachers themselves at one guy he. Mr Laden in my high school years while I was a senior year is okay ever got a perfect score new tests and I was like on a test would look. Nah never did and he's like. Hey Man if you get one hundred perfect sewer next test with me. I'll buy your lunch and I got a hundred on that test as you can imagine because he saw something in me that I could do it and I didn't see within myself I just didn't have the right focus at the time or I just wasn't thinking that I could actually do it so just being grateful for those who help you to see the gifts inside of you and helping others to unlock their own guy that they within themselves. I mean I'm sure absolutely. We all can identify and find someone who has indeed tossed along the way because Indian no money. No money's on Ireland no man or woman Santillan just a nicely sewn in crochet relays a reality no talking about gratitude right How important is it to to have that to hold that sense of gratitude and to daily? Get up and be grateful but not. Just be grateful for the things that you have but people who would have made you advance in life important has got a like with God. Gratitude Capital Geez. All Day gave him with a hundred grand capital. Geez all day. Was there as well. Gratitude is important especially when you first start your day off because when you wake up in the day if you wake up you already have your first one of the day because someone else didn't get a chance to wake up and if you have full movement as another piece of gratitude because someone may not have all their arms legs they might not have their limbs in especially if you're a caregiver and you still have your ride mind taking care of someone else who no longer has the right mind. That's another thing to be grateful for because a lot of folks nowadays are suffering with especially with the big talk about mental health and requirements. Self care and it's a must self cares a musk. Gratitude is a must and heck even gratitude is a form of self care as well as caring for others. Because if you yourself grateful for your life and you tell us thank you just by simply the door for behind when going into a store place a business or something or even head back to having that buffer mentor in your life. The Nets really gift because gratitude is a gift. It's gratitude you give to yourself and you give others because it shows that you appreciate your life and your pre. She ate everything. That's going to come into your life and you appreciate others out of blessed. Your life talks a boats. We all Canadian defy somebody who has helped us along the way and that one person for me that standards I remember life may going up. I didn't have it all together. You know broken family are perhaps not verify. Everything didn't have it all together but I remember this particular pasta. Who is no my friend Very dear friend of mine who he was the one who you know in. Somebody believes they're the best thing since nice burden and we all need that dinner knives. That person for me was My former minister. No I'd love to hear from you. Know you mentioned yet can do that to your Dad who accept your dad who has been that one person for you who has really stood to kind of help you to see yourself differently and to make sure that you're where you are today mascot of our choice let's see is there's my dad and then heck there's also my mom too because she's basically the first teacher in my life. My first ever like speech coach because like I was growing up as a church boy having to recite scriptures and issued all ways. Basically helped me to make sure that I remember these scriptures neck even my first ever barefoot of a church where we had over a thousand members of once. I'm just writing down. A brave woman actually say bravo the so. I wouldn't actually forget anything in fumble over myself and just having that Smith show later at my first ever coach in something that we all have is at one mother like we only get one and especially if they're goodwin but if you may be one of those unfortunate folks at the time who may have had a biological mother and May of as she probably wasn't in the Right Mon state and she may have left you out to fend for yourself from putsch what you're up for adoption. I mean apologies for that but like real for me. Like that is really. The other person was kind of an easy choice to make arms of graduate. Because I've had I've had coaches I've still have coaches and up at mentors I I've read like tons and tons of books. That have really helped me to really change myself the better but really having that person to actually really take you win and stay with you and actually give you that encouragement to really go out there and actually stay encourage stay focused. Even that was one of the word she used to make recite. Every morning was focused like Saddam. What's the word focus? It's like a Annika was was the word. It could be focused because we all sometimes get off. Course we stay on course and get focused once again on our. Why would we need to do on a life so right so it's very important and clearly you had that phone day Sean? And not just the appearance but You know along the way coaches and mentors and so on and some of US really didn't have that as a phone nation. You know I mean in my own life thankfully I know have a great relationship with my mom of course in star that we right Because of circumstances and you knew you give people grace. Because he recognized that were they. Were at some point in your lives they. Perhaps we're not pleased to meet the best. This is John Evelyn. We all will go through periods in our lives where we don't necessarily make the best decisions ever so for persons who don't have that Foundation you know for helping insolvent into their own advancement and and so on what what are some of the key principles and techniques and tips techniques with tips that we can enter to to make sure that we move ahead. Yes indeed one of them's as alluded to before his reading grade. Books by folks who've ridden those great books John Mexico's One person. Of course they can grow rich. That's another classic book that has helped thousands probably if not millions of people to really change lives for the better. In given a guy by the name of Antonia T SMITH. He is a great author. Wrote a book called so happy and grateful and it's a thick book but it's a fast read in himself he. He's actually one of my mentors because he himself he had was basically homeless at six years.

"So I feel I don't know the guy, but based on that trajectory, I feel like he wouldn't do the Batman, just repay check because he's probably stupid. Rich already you're right. I feel like he would do the Batman, because he thought the director or the script were interesting. Yeah. No, I that, that I don't know that bible with who he is. And kind of what he's chosen to that point. I, I don't know that this movie is going to be bad. I don't know that it'll be bad. Like I was worried about aquaman. I was worried about. Justice league. Seeing Batman versus superman, but I don't know that I'm worried about this film. I feel like maybe DC's coming into a different like a second renaissance films with hopefully joker. And then this movie in Auckland's not that was fun. Zan was good might suicide squad has some hope to know swamping might. Only concern is that I can't see our patents and Batman running parallel to the aquaman verse. Guys, totally. Separate though. I believe it is this is supposed to be a rebuild. Yeah. Is it actually that's a good point? Because then that means that joker is probably also not on the Auckland universe. Right. It can't be. Is a standalone, what you're saying their second renaissance is similar to the first renaissance. So they said, we're gonna make all these movies. They're going to be on related to each other. And then marvel did their thing said Otit, if we connect all these movies, it means big money, right? Well, if you do it, right. That I didn't hear that last part. Yeah. So then it just there hasn't been solidified vision. So now, it's sort of, like, well, whatever maybe we just let these things work. It looks like wonder woman has found an audience. The new poster looks good. That's right. Yeah. It seems like doing this Matt Batman thing. And then doing this sort of Santillan. Jokers, this looks red. Yeah. That's what you just said. Right. Yeah. Look, so fucking cool movies about wonder woman rag nineteen Eighty-four. It's the name what it is. Ragnarok, wonder woman, nineteen Eighty-four, and then I think didn't didn't American horror story stranger things. And their next season was going to be called like American horror story, nineteen Eighty-four, and then pay Jenkins was like, skews me. All right. Doing it, your obscure show is ruining my multimillion dollar budget movie. They talk a lot in a lot of the news is coming about Robert Patterson. Is that like the audition process was the shortest Batman casting, that's ever happened like it was a matter of hours, and they had them try on the suit, they have them try on Christian bale suit. I think. To pass a couple of guys Aflac suit they hadn't put on bail suit, but then, but then, also mentioned that Christian bale put on Val. Kilmer, sue. Not George Clooney soon, not the nips tonight. Had the bad you also. Doug, the design of the Ben Affleck won because I thought there they're kind of going It was on. it looked kind of some of the Arkham video games, even Justice league I was like, oh, cool. They're going for like the armor plating. Like, I don't know why you need goggles, but it looks cool, which is which I feel like that's sort of the sort of Zach scientists process like I don't care what it does. It looks cool. Goggles. I like it. The only ones Clooney win realize they haven't for hot trash the suit. I mean, Billy bad one. Heating Bill Kilmer, suit wasn't, it's not really isn't as bad. It's not as offensive as. Because. Silver and weird like highlight texture on it. Yeah. Basically, please shoot me like me the audience going. This is also like I feel like it was a product of time where this is what was getting made. That's felt Kilmer. That's when he puts on the prototype. Sue that was the only material they had available in the nineties to make cost us out today. Wish he said, some trials and tribulations instead. Oh shit. I did not know that. Yeah, I hate that Clooney suit man. I'm saying this as a Batman fan, and that's all. Yes, that's the end of that movie. Yeah. Yeah..

"You've kind of taken on this enemy role. I wanna give you a chance to explain yourself. What's sort off with the office burger thing. What's the reasoning behind that? If you think about it this way Steelers have not made the Super Bowl and quite some time since two thousand ten police they've had some of the best offenses talent that the NFL has seen in years. You throw in a BU throwing fail. You throw in ju ju you throw in fans McDonnell ally. Roger you throw in all these guys Martavis Bryant you throw in all these guys, and they couldn't get it done. Now, you look at the Pittsburgh Steelers two thousand nineteen you may have no AB. You're probably gonna have no bail. You have no Bryant you're left with James Washington. Juju a Ryan Switzer as your wide receivers with James Connor and Samuel's you go from. From the from the pit house to the outhouse so to speak in terms of talent. Juju is solid jujubes. No number one. Yes. Said ju was not a number one. Why receivers stop it? You'll see RAF was burgers going win the championship with that cast of characters if he couldn't do it with the other cast of characters with that being said don't do the restructure save that money. Let's start moving for we've rebuilding this team rebuilding. This defense is starting this from scratch because pink Ben Rothlisberger back with these guys that I just mentioned it's rented repeat, and we'll be watching that team up north in Foxborough. Finally, catch the Pittsburgh Steelers and get six championships. Okay. We'll let me let me say something here. Okay. You talked about leasing guys like and Brown, which let's assume is going to happen. But I want you to think back for me to two thousand and five. And it's tougher you, and I know the your memory's not your strong suit being back to that Super Bowl forty team. Can you name me some of the wide receivers on the team? Go. Twat random l ward. Yes, What's the guy's name? Cedrick wilson. Yes. Those are the primary three Nate Washington was also on that day, Washington. But now. I know how old on I'm not talking about the defense. They ran the ball more because. No, none of those wide receivers were elite. I love Hines ward. We'll say I love him till the day. I'd die. He was not in a lead game changing wide receiver. He was a game changing blocker, and he had great hands and played his role to a T in. He should be in the hall of fame my opinion, eventually, but he was not an elite wide receiver case. Now, let's fast forward to two thousand and nine. Can you name me some of those receivers on that team? Two thousand nine let me go back as Washington was still highs war was still still there. Yes, you're right. Nate Washington was still on the team here. Correct. Let's see who else. Play wide receiver winning touchdown catch said soil homes if they get a little bit. Burger should've been MVP of that game. I will for that. And you're and you had he's Miller. Those guys. So again, Santillan home was was more dynamic than the previous wide. Receivers crew that we talked about I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think sometimes because they had so much talent in the passing game. That throwing the ball seem so attractive all the time. In my opinion. This might be a blessing in disguise in terms of the balance that you speak about that is that is peak about ad nauseam on the show because they'll have to lean on the run more, and that's not going to be a bad thing. Because let's say if you've juju and you have James Washington, and maybe you get a free agent wide receiver refined one of the draft or both. And you can piece together some players that can be a deep threat that can still control. You know, the middle of the field was shoe does so well, but he can run the football. I think that can be an arrest for success. But like you said the defense on the other side was so..

"And I realized that was David sedaris. His name when he was in Santa land. He wrote a book those Santillan diaries, and he wrote that into a lot of his writings, and I was like, oh, Amy sedaris is sisters in this movie. That's probably a shoutout to to David sedaris. A lot of the New York comedians knew him. And and yeah, but yeah, he has written about and he has other. They did actually get locker rooms to change in interesting. Yeah. Because they had like their special uniforms that were given to them you had to you had to wear what it was you would change and they probably weren't as nice as the ones. They're also Zoe national says she showering there because her water was turned off. But like it shows her apartment later, and that is a nice apartment by New York standard that is a nice big apartment to be living in on your own. But she's eating Rahman. So she's poor. Yes. But because he has such a childlike understanding of the world. He doesn't realize that he's like invading this space apparently doesn't realize that she is naked in the shower. And then just like is sitting near where she is. And then sings along with her, so that's horrible and scary. She does confront him a few scenes later where race but that scene ends with her being like. Because she starts by saying like, hey, I need to talk to you. And then she asked him. Why did you do that? And he's like what I just love Christmas. And then she's like, okay. That is they could have cut the first two scenes and replaced it with anything I feel like to their relationship. Because like because watching this thing is that like, I know there's the obnoxious like, you know, this person makes you see the world in like a different way. But like I've got to say that like being like a grumpy morbid person myself like I have dated a lot of people where like they came in. And they were like, let's have fun. And I was like begrudgingly like, okay. All right, fine. I'm actually having fun. Okay. This is a good time. And yeah, that's actually that's happened to me in my life. Where like you meet somebody? Cheerful entered affects your life in a positive way. Like that is thing that happens. It's a stupid tro. But it is a thing that has happened in my life at least, and you know, it could have been done in a way without him creeping on her right? But the fact that so many romantic storylines in movies start out this way. We're like she's like, no, no, no get away from me. Don't talk to me, the most agreements example of this. I think at least the movie that we've covered was the notebook where like like Rachel mcadams says, no like fifty pills. I so don't go on a little date with me. You know, I had a guy come up to me. I was I was actually I think my friend is in the audience tonight. Who was with me we were in Europe together after my? Yeah, she's smiling. And I was in Vienna. And we were like separated for a few days, and I went off on my own to this park. And there was like a ferris wheel nearby. And this guy came by and asked me asked me to go out with him and go to a party with him. And I was like, no. And I told him over and over again, I was like no I have a boyfriend. No, I'm not interested. I'm interested, and he he tried to liberally philosophical, and he was like, but you just don't know where life is going to leave you. And I think eventually I just walked away. He never did anything like physically threatening. He was just it was just kind of stupid. But. Like, I told some people about it afterwards. And they were like, oh like the notebook. That romantic pantheon? That's yeah. That movie is just like the notebooks a whole situation. Yeah. I guess like I'm gonna kill myself. If you don't be my girlfriend. Well, yes, see I had like a really complicated relationship that movie because I was like so much about this as upsetting, but I had like a really big crush on racial mcadams. So yeah, so, but then I watched her and other things so..

Anyone who wore their sexuality on their sleeve, guy girl like like like, like porn stars that are like, right, like, look at you, big daddy. Just turn it off. Just talk to me just talking, but then I heard some guys that and I was like, that does sound pretty fucking ignorant like because there are people who their sexuality defines them chore totally defines guy, girl, straight, gay grill. Very true. But like I always think that like the like your you, you're probably how I am being straight one hundred percent. I'm just be straight. You're not gonna notice it a lot, right? But like, yeah, I'm straight. I have a friend that's very much the pussy hound sex at like, like borderline where it's an issue now. But it is a non comic is from Michael friend of mine, but he'll like he'll call me. Everything asked me. I'm talking in LA. I'm talking about two. Like I'm like, I'm trying to pitch the show Tronto. He was like, yeah, I I was was like. like, did someone drug you like how like how did that happen? And he was like, I was tired from what like there. There are parts of people's personality that they do put on other people and go on like this, you must be like this, right? Well, that's the thing I like having a friend like that because he does push me into those things. Try to meet more people go at date to all those stanks and I think that's cool to have somebody who's not just like fucking, let's talk about the business. Let's talk about comedy, you know, that is something cool about having a friend like that, but it's just so funny because like that's that's what he's all about. Every profile pictures him in know his girlfriend. I'm all about. I'm like shaky, Matt, that's him. That's what I'm about fucking. That's what he's putting out their twin. Let everybody know.
