Yeah, a couple of things going on, Julia at first and foremost was the sell off that we had in U.S. equities Friday. The S&P was down 2%. We had the inflation expectation survey from the University of Michigan coming in a little on the hot side for early October that precipitated a lot of the selling. It also sparked selling in U.S. treasuries and as a result of that and move up and yields across the curve. Right now though yields are drifting lower in the Tokyo session with a ten year down about two basis points just under 4% and a two year down about two basis points as well to four 47. The dollar coming in ever so slightly after a rally in the Friday session here in New York we had the Bloomberg dollar spot index jumping about 7 tenths of 1%. Right now the Bloomberg dollar spot drifting lower by about two tenths of 1%. The yen steady here at one 48 65 or thereabouts, we touched a 32 year old low, very close to one 49 in the U.S. session on Friday, and that created a lot of speculation on when the BOJ and the finance ministry working together would intervene in the foreign exchange in support of the Japanese yen. Right now, if you look at the equity market in Tokyo, we've got the nikkei down just 1% energy leading the decline here. Crude oil in New York was off about 4% in the session on Friday. Some of that may have been tied to dollar strength. Right now in Seoul the cost be weaker by about 1.4%, and in Sydney, the ASX 200 down about 1.4% as well. We'll take another look at markets in about 15 minutes right now and update on global news. Let's get to Ed Baxter and the Bloomberg newsroom. We've got to defiant. The fed raids rates by 75 basis points for the third straight meeting last month to a target range of three to three and a quarter percent officials projected a 125 basis points of tightening for the rest of the year. That suggests 75 basis point move in November and 50 basis points in December, but bullard said it is still too soon to make that call. We're seeing stability now in the crypto market with Bitcoin at 20,500 over the weekend. In fact, on Saturday, Bitcoin dropped to a low of 17,600, the lowest level we've seen since late 2020, we got news to short while ago that the troubled crypto lender babbel finance has won a reprieve on some debt payments you might remember the firm last Friday froze customer with trawls given some short term liquidity pressure. Now some of that move in Bitcoin to the downside reflects a lot of the strength that we have seen in the dollar the Bloomberg dollar spot index was up about 8 ten to 1% Friday, essentially the dollar is flat now and we're seeing a little bit more weakness in the end here around one 35 ten Chicago Nike futures 26,040, so we're about a hundred points, maybe a little less than that above where we were in the cash market Friday, or I'm sorry yesterday in Japan. Commodities in retreat and that really reflects a lot of the concern that we have seen around the outlook for global growth, crude oil down in the New York session Friday by about 7% and iron ore in the last two sessions.
