Los Angeles District Attorney Faces Recall Effort
"The district attorney of Los Angeles, George gascon, is facing a recall, much in the same way that the San Francisco DA chesa boudin faced or recall and was in fact unceremoniously recalled and tossed out. Now gascon is basically a clone of boudin. This guy is a complete loser, he is a DA on the side of the criminals, this is a guy who has been battering and weakening, not just the police force, but the prosecutorial force in LA, crime rates have soared in LA. I mean, they've soared another parts of the country too, but more in LA, more in California, more in San Francisco. So gascon and budin are symbols of the worst. Of democratic kind of crime fighting policy. And I want to talk about a specific case a case involving a really bad guy criminal named Justin Flores. So this guy Justin Flores is now accused of fatally shooting to El Monte police department, well, a Corporal and an officer, Michael parades and Joseph Santana. Here's a guy who was facing serious felony charges. And gascon led him out, put him on probation. And this has been by and large the gas on strategy. It's essentially to take criminals who are in a serious, who should be incarcerated, and let them loose, put them on probation. And what is this guy doing? He gets into a domestic dispute that police get reports of a possible stabbing. They show up at the scene, a shootout occurs, and vote the officers are killed.

"Two touchdowns from brunell in the final few minutes in dallas to win on monday night in two thousand five or is it that jacksonville game the next year. I think you had three touchdowns including the seventy yard catch and run in overtime from brunell to beat the jags. Which of those two. And maybe you've got another one is the most memorable game you played in dc. I have two. That's a great question. I like that. Because i always expose what they saw in the miracle game. That was that game was a disaster Points the two games that i had my best performances in the two games. That's have probably couldn't consider this about five games. But two of them stand out to me is jacksonville at home and giants and five at home on on christmas. Oh yeah when you had to win it. On christmas eve yep listens. I had three touchdowns. I'm i'm a christmas guy. I love that holiday. I love the holiday season. That year was already like i told you before. Two thousand five magical to me finding in the chance to be you know the guy and get into you know getting the love from quarterback mark gave me that that game on on thanksgiv- on christmas eve you had to. You had to win. You guys were. That was part of that. Five game winning streak. At the end of the year you had to beat the giants. Then go to philadelphia. Which was the sean taylor. Game that we remember on new year's day but that game on christmas eve remember. It wasn't just mark. Patrick ramsey came in. 'cause brunell got injured want to exactly but always why stands out to me is because remember. I told you all that year. They were giving me please to run right. Routes and my second touchdown was a route that they saw someone else do when they asked him ten. And can you do this. Yes kojak and do it. And i did it and i remember outrunning the ball the ball a little behind me and i just like gracefully. Turn my hips and caught the ball and then the other direction independent looking emulate. He didn't just do that. And so is that game stands out a lot man. Because at the time of the year. And i remember people had the size of santana clause. It was just a magical game in imagine conceived it was. It was such that you know. Here's why it was also magical for a lot of us. Santana is that it was joe gibbs. It was his second year. We were in a playoff run. Gibbs gibbs's one of the all-time great december january coaches in terms of his record. That was his hallmark like they always his team's always played their best football at the end of the year. In so here. He is in year two and were surging towards the playoffs. We destroyed the cowboys the week. Before you know at home in maybe one of the loudest environments fedex field is ever had. I'll never forget being there. That day was a four o'clock. Four fifteen starter. Whatever and then the giant game on christmas eve you know you couldn't lose. You had to keep winning or you were out and the giants were in it too. That year they were a decent team. They were going to the playoffs as well. And you guys rolled up thirty five points and you had three touchdowns on that day. And then the the new year's day game was of course a memorable. Because that was the game was sean taylor. Had the fumble return at the end to to clinch the game That was a good way to. I mean that season man. It was like oh no but thinking back man like trust stacey. That's one of the things about me as a player. I never will like i. I hate being. That guy. Like fans are like me. I literally you know my folks to tell you. I will come home and i tape every game so i wanna come home and i go i fast for right to my please because i will even the place i messed up on i i had to see myself and i look at it and i already have my head riding home. What idea right or wrong. So i wanna see it on tape to see how it looked once i see it. We go to work the next day and coaches show us from the berge. You know our copy up. Here's whereas no noise and all that stuff. That's that's the only times i see those games and now onto the next week and whatever happens is behind me. I don't well on that. We don't talk about my my folks. My family know how to call me about it. Because i feel so pressured in being the guy that i wanted to be couldn't sit and dwell on good or bad moments and i think it helped me have a great career because i feel that i'm able to talk about a while. I love doing these shows. Because i get a chance to talk about myself a little bit. You know great athletes in great competitors and people that play sports at the highest levels. Those that succeed are not rear. View mirror people. It's looking forward. I mean you guys. Don't dwell on these things. A lot of players aren't even football fans the way we are but so that's not surprising that you were that way as a player. Gee i've got. I've got a quick trivia question for you. Because i'm thinking about that two thousand five season and i'm looking at right now. Those final five games. You had to win all five to make the postseason. The first win in that five game winning streak was at saint louis against the rams dino who the starting quarterback of the rams was that day he wants it was his first start our member that game he i remember that game vividly because that was a gaels ticked off and I got. I got a famous quote. That i'll tell folks about sean taylor ma'am set next to each other and in a team meeting room and on planes going to go on trips and that game. I want to get off so bad. I was open so many times. I probably have one or two balls. I'm not sure. I'm not even sure. But i'll take on the flight back and signed kept tapping me on my knees. He's like bro was wrong. And i'm like you know. I was one of those guys always been got on cry out. I might pout. Be pissed would have to do that. Becky normal and sean likely. That's your problem. Need to get off chess library. Watch out. don't touch me more. That's how you say no get off your chest. You're gonna talk to me tonight. And that's how you gotta you gotta you gotta understand. This is my first real time right like this year is my first time really. Been around sean sean younger brother at you. I didn't sean. So i'm not really knowing sean that everybody else knows i just know. He's from my school and he's a phenomenal talent. So that whole year..

"With that. Final thirty minutes My conversation the other day with santana mossy was great. If you missed the first part just go back to friday's show Titled santana moss on everything. This was santana moss. The final thirty minutes he got into some interesting storytelling and he had some thoughts on what this team this year Would do this season here. It is. I've always thought of you in the same way that i used to think about darryl green as a long time in a lifelong fan esteem from this perspective when you went back on a punt return it was a big deal. It was like they need him. They a need somebody to make a play. And you did you were an excellent punt returner. Darryl green didn't do it as much as you did it in your career. But every time. Joe would stick daryl back on a punt return. It was a big moment and you felt like every time he was back there. There was a chance that it would break in that. He would take the distance. And i always felt that way about you on returns if you'd been a full-time punt returner your entire career. How good would you have been. Would you have been one of the best of me. I'm always be you know. I'm not going to moan horn. But i i believe i would have been one of the best. I think my skill set was that of a punt returner. Like i can make a guy miss in a foam and then i got zero to sixty better than i don't know i don't know too. Many guys have zero to sixty gear like myself. You know that was one of my things. That's why when i ran track i was gonna sixty yard dash. I was good in our first league by full by one team. Because i get out the blocks faster than anybody i the only you know a folks extra time and time again. What is one thing you regret about your career. The only thing i ever regret. I never shared with no arms sandwich. I i didn't continue to do punt. Return to mark whole career. And i'm gonna tell you why in new york you gotta think about it. I was a all pro first team. All pro. my first year plans the comforter. Don't want several touchdowns you know. No one talks about the leading my first full year. My first my rookie season hurt tie you. I played the last four games but my first full year my second year in the league. I led the league in touchdowns and i was a first team all pro and a pro bowl alternate i was i. I was but it was cool. I'm not trip. And i was so young. I didn't even here in new york. The special teams guys. New santana's back here. We're going to do everything we can. We can do to make sure he gets to where he got to go. And that's all i needed when i got to washington. I didn't think those guys cared enough about the person who they had back there. And i told myself i refuse to play put myself put my career in line because i thought to also as a punt returner. That's taking a lot of snaps out of me. You know down the line. I wanted a long career. And i felt the more punt returns that i do. That's going to be less years that i have to receiver or elite receive. I was trying to be the leaders. All all receivers. And i'm like man all all the receivers don't do punt return and even though i wanted to do it so bad i was like you know what this is. What this is what this team needs me more at as receiver. Well was it. Your choice would they of let you be the primary punt. Returner feud said i want do it. No question they met it was. It was who who was mad. All of your coaches. Oh more more. Sore mike westoff might west of okay so in new york but my decision in new york was way different from my decision in wash because we would they brought in randall. Obviously to to be that guy in two thousand six yes. But i think danny thought that hey even though we bring in rendu ten and you have something different radio. Oh see there was a guy that was on juki right joke joke joke i get open and he tired of the tired guys out and he now he's off to the race. I'm one step down here. And i'm going your momma. She blamed your daddy if he blinks. They missed that was my. That was what i did as a punt returner and daddy loved that and everyone. You have to love that. If you're you know special teams coach that you got a guy that can really return to put in a blink of an eye. And i knew i had that but i didn't think i had two guys in front of me to to to save my body enough to be as lethal as offense of threat. Also you know. I feel like the hits. I was taking already early. In those two years of plan. Someone owes reps as punt return. I didn't get hit this hard and four years in new in new york new york. I was doing things and i was barely getting hit. And now i'm taking crazy. Hits in guys all lanes and got guys blocking so that was the reason what made me not want to do it as much in washington. Now i didn't wanna do it from time and time again. I just wish that i would have had the right. Kind of guy with the mindset like look ask protect china because he can put up six and a blinking. Do you remember though. Do remember towards the end of randall. Here my my memory is. It almost looked like he didn't wanna do it anymore. Do you agree with that or not. I i can't agree with that. I'm not even sure at the time when he left on anything. I was thinking about it. You know i. I can't recall. I remember that year the his last year with us. Because i ran a return back for that year against detroit detroit and i remember death when me and danny just talked that we'd like ten. I wanna put you back down once a game. And i'm like you know 'cause like i thought punt return always got me to be that much leaked. You're you know when. I didn't get the ball receiving you know. That's the only reason why i love so much when i was in college because i'm not getting the ball often makes them happy. You know as a part return. And that's why i regretted a little bit as you know throughout my rookus it was times in washington where i wouldn't get in the ball enough you know and i'm like damn only about a stay back here and caught plants but i can't the guy here these plants. You know what. I'm saying so but No i think you know we all get to that point where regardless of how you see right by doesn't allow us be that guy brandon banks who is brandon banks was pretty damn good at it and he was phenomenal like yeah east story and i'm sure he can vouch for this. He probably tell you if you ask them brandon banks out. Run anybody and one thing. I told him about the. Nfl is that all these guys will find the angle to run your behind down so you have to put something else in your game. Once you break free you have to cut crossfield. 'cause it's gonna be a guy that's gonna set in. They know your speed so they're going to make sure that they have a nice angering. It's a brand new with break one and never score you know. He scored his first touchdown. When i told him to cook crossfield he did it. And he got a touchdown either yet he had. I'm looking at his numbers right now. He only had one career return. It was his first year in twenty ten. It was on a kickoff return but he had a lot of long returns like concerns. You try to outrun everybody. I told him. I said brandon is but salt you out. Run the whole kickoff team or team you have to eventually know how to set them up and say when they got put their foot on the ground and get on the other side so that was his problem. I told me about six of them while his career his his short career. If he just did that from the star his one return for a touchdown was also at detroit. Like your last punt return. Touchdown was All right let's get back to this team for a minute..

"On. We're playing a lot of guys so there's limited wraps You know we see these guys day in and day on and how they conduct themselves and then the big thing that happens in the games is you know see how guys handle it you know because the intensity does crank up a little bit. It's not quite the regular season but you know all of a sudden the lights are on. And you're in the game setting there's coaches on the field and some guys you know it's it's a little bit too much for them. So how do they handle. You know those situations. That's kind of the the next test you know when a guy when they're coming up i think that answer was very instructive to all of us. We can't watch these preseason games and sometimes even regular season games and think that we really have a good feel for everything. He was answering a question that was wide receiver specific but really. His answer applies to everybody. The value of playing the games in preseason is just to see how they react. Make sure they don't get stagefright. They already know and can evaluate these players in training camp practices and in some cases even going back to ot as in many camp There's not a lot in these games that change opinion unless again somebody gets major stagefright. And they're like oh boy that's disappointing He looked great in practice. He looked great in the layup lines. But it didn't really pan out in the game i when we come back The final third thirty minutes the final thirty minutes of my conversation with santana moss the other day. If you enjoyed the first part i think you're going to enjoy this second part even more right after these words from a few of our sponsors. How familiar does this sound. You've got one device that lets you catch the game live. You've got another that. Lets you stream your favorite shows. "Of success because when i talked about this after the cease we played a lot of young guys during some stressful times in seven games in the regular season the last seven we won five of those two and we. We're in playoff mode each one of those games because it you had to win. We had to win. We had to put in. We put ourselves in position. We had to win to stay. We had to to stay ahead and we did at the end to be. That's you know you win through a tough situation. You've found an ability to reach down and find something to help you get through that and that stuff you build on but if for whatever reason we come out we arrived now we got this. Then we're not gonna get better. We're not going to go back and learn from the basics. Lanark understand what it takes to get back to where we need to be. That's what i'm concerned. I want to feel good about When we get ready to play that first gang first regular-season so there are two things that stand out from that Sound bite from rivera last week. Number one is this. He thinks that the experience of playing those winner go home games. Late in the season with team was a good thing. I totally agree with that. We all talked about that at the end of last year some of you wanted the better draft positioning because you thought making the playoffs and a bad division and losing in the first round that there wasn't much benefit to that he does he thinks there's benefit. I agree with them playing in those pressure. Late season games is a great experience. However and this was the second part of the sound clip that i wanted to discuss. He also recognizes that each year is its own entity i mean. I've talked so often over the years about the nfl being a week to weekly. Well we know that so much changes year to year. I mean all you gotta do is look it. Every single season in and there's a team that inexplicably goes the wrong way or the right way from the year before and it's not always the because of major player changes or coaching coaching changes. Or you know big time injury. Sometimes it's just the team that you saw last year. Isn't the team that you see this year. For whatever reason you see that every single year you know if you look at last year houston houston was a playoff team. That had a twenty four to nothing lead in a playoff game. You know in the two thousand nineteen season at arrowhead and then they were one of the worst teams in the league last year. Philly went from a playoff team in two thousand nineteen two four win team in twenty twenty with them. It was a lot of injuries. Miami went from tanking in two thousand nineteen to ten and six on on the doorstep of the playoffs last year and then washington obviously three and thirteen to a division winner And a team. That was playing pretty good football at the end of last year. Minnesota went from a final four. Nfc team in twenty nineteen with an exceptional defense to one of the worst defenses in the nfl last year and a seven win non playoff team. It's like this every year. And ron understands that while there's huge value which i agree with in getting that big game feel experience. You know the benefit of playing with pressure to win or go home. He also knows that that feeling of that. You've arrived because you are in a playoff game. Last year is a killer. You know especially when you haven't arrived it's a recipe for a step back year. I just think this guy gets it. Overall is he a great coach. Probably not does he in combination with his staff equal a top tier staff. Probably not. but it's much better than it's been and it's probably a top half of the league worst-case top half of the league staff. I think beyond the xs and os with him. He understands the people part of this. Which by the way. Joe gibbs always understood. He's an nfl lifer he's got nfl lifer experience. He's always been in pretty good situations in situations that built in his mind the important but the importance of not only good players but good people and coach people any stayed with that discipline. I don't know i there's certainly You know something to ron rivera. A for me. And i don. I know it's not totally there for all of you. That's fine. i think there's an identity with him you know they're certainly an air of discipline with him. There's toughness there's a a no excuses a my way or highway element to him. Not in the same way. That marty schottenheimer was because i think ron has a much better bedside manner than mardi But i like what's happening here as of now. You know it's subject to change as always with this organization and i still think that this year they could be a better team in not get the same results but i would be surprised if at the end of this season that if i didn't still feel like this is the right direction with a good man leading it scott. Turner said something the other day prior to the final Preseason game and it was a little. Bit of what i talked about earlier in terms of you know This preseason game on saturday night didn't really determine six spots you know. just didn't i'm he was asked actually specifically about wide. Receiver listened to his answer. You guys have a lot of depth that wide receiver. What are you looking to see. A third preseason game as some of the guys on the borderline of the roster. Not making looking for them. Yeah you know. I think the easy thing to see to say is like guys making plays but there's a lot more than goes in that goes into it then that Just overall kind of doing things the way they're supposed to be done. I mean we're.

It's a revenue generator for us They the can sell advertising based on the loyalty and the enjoyment of the show In addition to the the size of the audience of the show. So i wanted to get to a few things Before we get to santana moss part to the nfl network finished up their top one hundred players for the upcoming season. That's the list of top. One hundred voted by the players. And then espn just did their own top one hundred. I'm bringing it up because on the nfl. Networks top one hundred if you recall Brandon sheriff came in at ninety eight and chase young came in at sixty one. And there was no terry maclaurin on the list and i thought it was a joke has guys like cold beasley and And corey davis run. The list and terry mclaren wasn't I thought that that was a big whiff on the nfl. Networks players List but whatever. It's a popularity contest similar to the pro bowl The nfl networks list well. Espn had their list. Chase young came in at thirty one thirty spots ahead of where he was on the nfl network list brandon. Sheriff came in. It's seventy twenty eight spots ahead of where he was on the nfl network. List and terry mclaren wiz in the top one hundred not only was he in the top one hundred. He came in at number seventy three. The nfl network list had nineteen receivers on their list. With no terry maclaurin. Meaning that terry maclaurin. At best was the twentieth best receiver in the nfl. According to you know his contemporaries the players that play in the league. The espn list had terry as the fourteenth best wide receiver in the league and it got me to thinking this morning a little bit more. We had this conversation. I know i've had it on the radio show But it got me to thinking just seriously like right now. Where would i have terry mclaren. I've guessed between ten and fifteen may be closer to fifteen and ten. And i think fourteen is about right. I thought about this. And i went through. You know every single team's roster. And i think there are twelve receivers that i would definitely take before maclaurin and then i think there are another two to three. That would be in the mix with him. You know where they're sort of coin flips. So you know i would have him somewhere between thirteen and fifteen here are the twelve by the way. Here are the twelve that i would take in front of him without you. Know really giving it even a Consideration of taking terry over any one of these twelve guys. The i four. I put in order of how i would choose them in the rest. The other eight are in any random order but to Tyreek hill is one. Devante adams's to hopkins is three stefan digs is for those are the top four receivers in the league in that order. In my opinion hill. I think is the number one explosive weapon in the league. I think he's the most uncheckable offensive player in the league. And i think is quarterback would be number two but hill devante atoms. Rit andrei hopkins. Stefan digs are my top foreign that order and then in no real order the next state or julio jones. Aj browned keenan allan allan robinson michael thomas. When he's healthy. Obviously mike evans decay. Metcalf and damore. Cooper those are the top twelve for me. I wouldn't think twice. I would take those twelve guys before lorne now. Then you get into the justin jefferson's and the calvin ridley's and you know we can start to debate. But i think you know the list that. Espn has with him. Coming in at fourteen feels about right. These lists are funded debate. I think on that list of receivers. That i would take in front of them. All of those guys have better quarterback situations than washington. All of them you know maybe. With the exception. I guess alan robinson's. Qb's in chicago in justin fields could turn out to to finally be the answer for chicago at quarterback even though dalton is starting the year But i think every other receiver on on the list of twelve that i would take other than allen. Robinson has a great quarterback situation and the point is that all those receivers are talented. But they pretty much all hab. Good to great quarterbacks. There guys like terry mc that you would start to think about you know in the next year or two if they get better quarterback. Play guys like jerry judy in denver. Dj more and carolina and there are a few more that with better. Quarterbacks would be a part of the conversation to anyway terry maclaurin get some preseason recognition which is great and if you're paying attention clearly produced in situation last year that was much different than the situation that most of those guys ahead of him or even slightly behind him on those lists had. I'm looking forward to a big year for terry maclaurin. You know he is one of this team's a level talent players think about this mclaren young sheriff sweat tress way are all no debate a level category. Nfl talents five of them on this team. I think you could say the near same about doron pain. But i'll let that one slide. I'm not gonna mention fuller or jackson yet. But fuller's close five a level players is the most for this franchise since two thousand maybe since nineteen ninety one when we have a conversation evaluating this team you know comparing to any teams in their recent past or teams that they will play this year or compete with this year. You can start by saying they've got a chance because their roster has more elite level talent than it's had in forever all right Couple of things washington football team related or a couple of more things. I wanna let you know something. I want to let you know something that i learned Over the weekend. And then a few things that i think about the washington football team I what i learned. Ron rivera said yesterday about the final roster and the game on saturday night that four jobs were available going in to that game. The other night against the ravens in that six may have been determined. Nope not true. That's nice of him to say it builds up the competition level and it makes it seem like they were sweating it out the other night evaluating every block and tackle and drop back in pass pro and kick return as as if the competition was so close in so many spots at the game that we watched the other night that was dreadful to watch and that they were coaching in with somehow the determining factor for up to six roster spots. No it's not true. They had fifty one to fifty two locked and loaded before saturday night. Perhaps perhaps one to two spots may have been determined on saturday night or a day or two leading into saturday night and maybe one of those could be an injury related determination. It's nice to say to the players. You're releasing today tomorrow tuesday or today and tomorrow Hey man it was so close. And by the way i'm not debating that it was probably very competitive at a lot of positions what i am telling you is that saturday night did not determine six spots. You're really naive if you believe that to be true That's what i learned over the weekend A few things that i think off of this weekend on. That sounds a lot like That peter king column where he used to say. You know things that. I think I think the The the 'grande blueberry tapioca allante at starbucks is really good Anyway that's not what i'm trying to do here. I think a couple of things just off of this weekend..
Injury Update: Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins out for the Year With Torn ACL
"I can't wait for football season. I'm talking about real football. The preseason is over thankfully and mandate nfl teams handle the first three game. Preseason in a variety of ways. I have no idea which way was right and which way was wrong. And perhaps there's not even a right or wrong. Answer to this ron rivera. As way was to sit everybody saturday night against the ravens to ensure they get to the opener. On september twelfth against the chargers healthy john harbaugh took the other route and lost his starting running back. J dobbins for the year to a torn c. l.

"Because when he would stick that that ball and alfred's gut and everybody came up man made everything he sear behind it. Didn't it yeah. No i mean that's that's to me. That's something that you don't have to. You know i. I talk about that. That's going on our team. And i'm like sometimes you have player to that allows the office coordinator job to be that. Just that much easier. Because the element of their gain will make a defense second-guessed itself and that's what rob griffin brought to the game. Every week it we can't bleak because this guy would be down in heartbe and when you have that kind of skill set and you have that going for your offense. If you'll just do the little things right man you can go far. That's what we did. We went so far us while we were so good. And i think the only reason why we didn't have the season that we should have because injury if he don't get hurt we're not losing the sierra. No you're fourteen nothing. i'll miss you. I promise you we not losing that game. I promise man. And that's why. I was sitting there like lord where we don't have no luck over here. I was looking around. No where i know. It always seem that way. Because you know the way it's set up to you gotta fourteen nothing lead In he's he's not back to full health. We know that obviously But if you hang on and he doesn't go down in a heap on the field in that seattle game You go to atlanta the next week. I think you i think the way you guys were playing. You would beaten atlanta now. I don't know if you guys would have beaten the niners that year in the nfc championship game. But you can be worse. I didn't intend to do this But santana was so good and he had another thirty minutes of conversation him storytelling in him including an incredible story about a conversation. That he had with sean taylor at the end of a game in two thousand five About what he wished he would have done. More of in the nfl. With respect to a certain job responsibility and more. and so i'm gonna cut it into two parts because there was another thirty minutes left and it just gets a little bit too long for one podcast. So you just heard santana moss conversation part one and part two. I will air on mondays. Podcast when we come back. Daniel kaplan from the athletic answer. Some questions about the story that came out yesterday where the nfl was. And maybe still is considering mandating. Vaccines that right. After these words from a few of our sponsors when simplisafe home security's founders chad eleanor. Lauren's design their first security system in their kitchen. They did it for a very personal reason. Their friends had just had their home broken into. They were struggling to find security system. That would simple the setup and would make them feel safe again. Making people feel safe is exactly would simply safe has been doing ever since that moment. Fifteen years ago a passion to protect people not only drives every engineering detail in its products but motivates.

"To dominate. You don't have to be. rg three to dominate. And that kind of offense. Every receiver flourished in that offense. I was telling folks. That's wondering what i was so mad because i'm like when mike brought me into the office in two thousand twelve energy threes first year and i remember to talk. We had that off season. I was going through some stuff you know. Personally de folks didn't know about. I was damn near. I never knew stress wasn't until two thousand nine ish ten eleven. I never knew how stressed. I'm you know football players that's me i'm not stressed. I'm not fist then. I looked at my body. Like what was the source of the stress. If you can tell us if it's too personal it for for my book. I got a book coming some okay. I'm a put it all out on the table. Then all right to a size that. I never thought i could never be because i was stressed out. You know Some personal matters but the one thing that saved me with those things. I was dealing with with football so even with me being two hundred some pounds in this small five nine and a half five team frame. I still not dominated at what. I know how to do this at their size. That weight even knowing that i felt like man i feel like a butterball out here dominated guys at two hundred pounds to ten at one time had a thousand yards with all that weight on me so two thousand twelve comes in i get a call from those guys and i have been telling myself tending need to lose weight off season. You need to lose weight off so you need to do some different and you know as as as as humans we tell ourselves a lot and sometime we say hey give me a sign or give me something that's going to allow me to really go through it. What i'm telling myself. I need somebody. I need some reassurance. That i'm telling myself the right thing. I got a call from mike and i got a call from my agent. Say hey but drew. Hey but man. Mike is not happy with your size. He thinks that you can be more dominant. You lose some weight. Judy said no more. Don't say no more you that's all i needed. I was unhappy with drew. This is not what i want to be. I'm going through some shit. You know what. I'm going through. But guess what i'm big guy can handle it. Let me get the word. And i did it again. I got back to what i needed to be at. And so i come into that season like offering dominate this year. 'cause i know what i did at the size in two thousand ten two thousand eleven. I got hurt in the middle of the season. So i couldn't really get back you know. Get my feet back to where i was at when i came back but i'm like oh man. I'm lighter than i've ever been like. This is my high school. This is my high school college and they might bring me into office and say i want you to be a slot receiver and like fuck. No man. no. You just got me back down to the size. And if i dominated at japan what did you think i'm going to do at one eighty five. He's like the thing the reason why. Because i feel like with the office we have. You're not gonna always get the ball but when you come in a game on third down you would be number one in the read. That's when we needs to ten. I'm gonna try to preserve as much as i can of your career right now and get you to play some more years. Was he right so when he said preserve and play more years as a veteran and as a guy who's never been selfish and always talk about team before themselves. That's what i needed to hear. I said coach. If that's how you feel. I'm going to do it and i had to. He had to tell me nothing else. And deep down inside i hated it because every man wants to be a star. Everybody wants to go out there and especially at the what. I went through in my career from being hurt. When i came in the league and to finally get back to where i was at i feel like i should be that guy and i say you know what i'm gonna do it and two thousand twelve a magical year when me coming in on third down. Yeah i louis lit up to them. Score giant game had eight touchdowns that year amini was. It's unbelievable so when i saw that offense in how i was flourishing. How pierre was flourished how you know al and lynyrd in you name it all. We all have five hundred dollars plus and a whole heap touchdowns. I'm like you know what this is. The offers for us like we don't need nothing else. I knew i could play in this offense forever if you allow me to. Because i'm not using much my coming in and dominate my mental. And so i was kind of upset to see that that that go to waste. You know what i mean. I feel like they did so much to design that office to be equipped for. Rg talent that he had around him. And you know after. Moore's just ten of the league year after year. You know know his rushing stats. It was just unbelievable man. And i was hurt honestly. I was really hurt to see what we did in two thousand twelve and the years. After that i was really heard i was disappointed. Well i mean you know as you're sitting there talking. I'm just having the memories you know of the giant game in the meadowlands when he hits you you know late in the fourth quarter for the lead the game where you caught that incredible sort of back shoulder in the end zone on thanksgiving day in dallas. When you guys blew out. I think it was to to give you a twenty eight to three lead. You know at the end of the first half but you know. Everybody flourished because every defense had to play robert as a potential runner on every play..

"Where if they came to me at a time. When i wasn't open now we have to deal with a turnover or you know someone saying that them. Ten didn't get open. I i wanna make sure that he's ready when i'm ready. Who was the player that you played with. That was what we think of sometimes with receivers. That annoyingly always was open. Even when they weren't who was the player that was the opposite of you think i played too many On washington know the verniers was said a lot when we was in new york but lebron's had just got into that role with being guy. So he was he a you know he he had he had chip on his show anyway because he wanted to prove that should have been drafted higher and he was a better receiver. People expect it. So i can understand If i had to think of somebody in washington. I would say brandon lloyd. I remember that year. But i think it was. It was fair because brandon to me. I is the pig be pissed off also that year. No six below was so good but they were. They were they were. Don't meet ball. No not as much as i needed it or i would like for them to but they will never involve loy. When i thought that together we could have killed the nfc. We did a lot of things. Great together just know how he can get open is route running skills the way he caught the ball. If you use both of us and found a way to you know when when folks was kind of you know trying to shake my way and allow brennan to do his thing we would have dominated. But like i said before on we could have done that with mark brunell when they took mark away from our game plan You know campbell was so young at the time he just wasn't ready to be able to see the field like that. And so a lot of times jason was sitting back there patting the ball. Not knowing bro. You got to kill us on the outside. Just give him the ball. Go back and forward jason dis- get rid of the ball. If you don't see anything run usually get rid of the football so I think brennan the lord would have been that guy. Because i've had those sit down with him a lot when he just going at it like calling every coast and they're out of the name because he wasn't getting you know what's so interesting about him. I think that many of us misunderstand the brandon. Lloyd thing idiot was you know. They traded picks forum. They tore up his contract when he still had years left on. It gave him a big new deal. You have said this about brandon. Lloyd before clinton said it. Cooley said it about how gifted he was in how he was not used the right way but why so. Why didn't it with a coach. Like gibbs an. Oc like al. Saunders and we can. We've we've talked about that that you know in the past before but why didn't it work out for him. Was he the same reason why you will look at a santana malls have a fourteen hundred something yards and five and come have seven ninety nine and two thousand six if my play declined that much offense and brennan brennan law never get off. That's why because quarterback guy like myself with my skill set. And the things that i showed you that i can do an old five. That might play dropped off drastically. It's no wait brennan. Lloyd can get off. 'cause i need to get off you understand and so i tell all the time like that. Offense was not for us. We didn't have the kind of players that can run. That offense mark could a winged it and may plays in it but we didn't have to change. I didn't understand why we brought in our santus. Which don't give me wrong. now. I love are saunas. He was a great coach. But we didn't need that system and that system was designed for guys for for for a quarterback that can throw timing routes are rousing. File was drew up in the dirt. We literally said of up on the backside. I'm hitting you and i'm gonna hit you. Run a comeback. I'm gonna hit you. That's what mart did in five. That's what one games we literally would take passing plays from any team. They have played the team that plan week. And and coach was say santana. Can you run is route. Yes coach we're going to run this route. We're going to put up a touchdown. We did that week in week. Out throughout the entire five and six. We say we're going to new coordinator. I didn't understand it. So that's why brennan loyd got off because you didn't allow your star player myself to get off. You know what's interesting about that. You know what's interesting about that and i've always felt this. You know joe is back for you. Know that was his second year no five and he had been away from the game for awhile and For whatever reason. I've talked to cooley about this a lot over the years i think joe lost some confidence in what he was is an offensive guy and yet two thousand five. It was all coming together now. Didn't end well because you guys at had injuries and mark wasn't right in those playoff games You know against tampa in seattle. But i agree with you and i remember feeling the same way. No joe you're just starting to hit your stride and you're starting to get everything back but do you think that maybe joe just thought maybe time passed him by a little bit offensively. He thought the time passing by. I think it was just too much for them. You know you had joe you have bugle. You had another coach of bro. Bro a steph. We almost three offers a coordinators in one year. It was funny. Like i would have someone coming. Give me like. I told you two thousand my first season here and i will literally come to work every morning early because i knew they had a package just for me to look over to make sure i can get it by practice. And that's why. I say that season was so magical because if you really looked at it i literally look at a paper without on and say that was twenty or fifteen routes from other teams that players rent and i literally say i can do them all coach. And he's like you sure you give our get them. I practice practice. day are on every route. We're we're we're some kind of way. Put it in implementing into our offense. And i run it and they will have my tongue hanging out my mouth. 'cause i'll be that tired and come sunday. We putting up points going touchdown. So i'm not. I'm not complaining. Then the next year we put in this high power rams offense that you don't have a kurt warner you don't have a isaac groups you don't have a torry holt running stuff you have myself. Give us credit. I can run anything and everything you want. But if you don't have that kind of quarterback during the time pass to me then while we were in in this offense you understand so you know you take mark out of there yes. He wasn't playing well earlier in that season. Because the offense sucked for that for for the skill set guys that we had. But.

A full-fledged casino and a lot more just use my code kevin dc so they know That you came from this podcast okay. Let's start the show with the preseason game tomorrow night against baltimore. A few things that i'd like to see is baltimore goes for an nfl record. Twentieth straight preseason wind dating back to twenty fifteen. Someone asked me earlier in the week. Why do you think that is it. Harbaugh as it baltimore's death is an important Look they didn't make the postseason. I don't think in two thousand fifteen twenty sixteen or seventeen. They've made it the last three years once. Jackson took over in twenty eighteen And then they didn't do very well in the post season so it's not like you can you know Directly correlate great preseason success with great regular season and postseason success. But i guess it's probably a combination of harbaugh takes more seriously than some coaches in. Yes the ravens have been very good at roster construction and they've had some deep teams over the years and that may play into it As well as far as washington goes this. Was ron rivera answering john. Crimes question about how much the starters will play tomorrow night. First of all you know as far as starters saturday how much they're gonna play some play what we think they need to play. He seemed a little bit perturbed with the question. I'm not sure why. I don't think there's much of a competitive advantage or disadvantage to disclosing. Who's going to play and who isn't in the preseason finale but that's fine I don't expect a lot of starters minutes tomorrow night against the ravens here. A couple of things that i'd like to see at the game tomorrow night number one. No injuries Obviously that goes without saying in the preseason knock on wood. They've been pretty lucky so far with the injuries you just have the lingering curtis samuel soft tissue injury Which is a concern will ask us. Santana moss about that Number two is. I'd like to see as i've said before. Each and every preseason game the quarterback the starting quarterback if he plays get into some rhythm with the wide receivers and just the overall pass catchers as he has a couple of times in the preseason so far. I don't need to see touchdowns. Of course i'd prefer touchdowns at the end of drives. I just want to see the move. The football move the chains. Get into some sort of rhythm and then get the hell out of there This this concern or this obsession over. They haven't scored any touchdowns the first team offense is absurd in my opinion It's meaningless. it's how they play. Fitzpatrick said that rivera said that i agree with them. It's how they look look if they had ten possessions in the preseason and they went three and out on eight of them and on the other two there were turnovers. Yeah i'd be concerned but they have moved the sticks. They've moved to change They've gotten in position to potentially score and they didn't. They missed a field goal. I think they made it feel whatever it is. Having scored a touchdown. So what I don't think it's that big of a deal. A lot of these teams aren't even playing Their starters at all. I mean there's just been a wide range of approaches To these preseason games i'd love to see some rhythm offensively and then get the hell out of there. I'd love to see if the ravens trot. They're starting offense out there. I i'd like to see the matchup against their run game you know. I don't know if that's what they'll do you know. If lamar jackson's gonna run any in the game he probably shouldn't in a preseason game but you know they seem to take these things more seriously than others. I think the defense the first team defense has really looked good and athletic and physical and it would be a really good match up to face baltimore i think run stopping is going to be so important. to this defense This year and i've seen signs that they play with a lot of energy with a ton of athleticism obviously I'd like to see that match up For series or two..

Aroldis Chapman Implodes as Yankees Lose Crusher to Angels
"Loss was the all time historic worst loss and it has me going through my head thinking about ways i can atone for my past that might undo whatever curse god has placed on the new york win. This game resumed in the sixth inning. In the after the pouring rain the second hour plus long rain delay. They don't call games anymore. I guess and the second that happened. I went to sleep. Comey bad fan if you want to. I don't care really because everyone with a shred of intelligence knew aroldis. Chapman was not holding on to that lead. Whatever that lead ended up being at the end of this finicky six hour. Nonsense you did. Call it I don't blame anybody who own asleep you call the you said this game. There's no point watching this game. It's either a win or it's gonna end with disaster because like you said Chapman in the rain not good chapman and not a safe situation. I did look splits. He surprisingly does have good stats in non save situations but like this was a borderline save situation because it was just one. More run wasn't safe situation when he was warming up. Yes So i don't know like like we've talked before peace thrown off any aspect of his access whether it's losing losing the the foreign substances whether it's aaron boone. Deakin him with that. Intentional walk against carlos santana. Whether it's i don't even know he's he just it needs to be a dialed imperfect situation for aroldis chapman or else. It's it's not a good situation for

From No Experience to Multi-Million Dollar Business with Ellen Bennett
"Have a company called headley and bennett. We are in apron. Kitchen gear brand based out of los angeles. And when i started our company almost eight years ago we began as really a custom apron. Work where business for just restaurants and through the years it's really evolved into this directive consumer brand that outfits not just professional chefs but home-cooked is well all over the world. So it's been an exciting in amazing journey that. I just got to summarize into a book that i just finished. I'm very excited to push it out into the world and thank you for sending your book to us to. We've really enjoyed it and going through it. The thing i want you to tell everyone is how you actually started. The apron company is the that moment where you realize you were gonna jump for it. It's a moment. I think that actually happens in a lot of people's lives and sometimes you take the leap and other times you stare at the leap and maybe decide. You don't want to do it. But i'm a big believer in just doing it in trying and failing and getting back up again so that is exactly what i did. I was working professionally a couple of restaurants. I wanted to have my own restaurants. And i had gone to culinary school and i had this opportunity that just punched me in the face. Basically i was standing in the restaurant and where it was working. The two michelin star restaurant and then at the same time was working at another restaurant so fine dining and normal dining at the same time so you can imagine that was like a wild simultaneously and at one of those spots. Joseph santana my chef ran up to me and said. Hey there's a girl she's gonna make aprons. Do you wanna buy one. And i had been thinking about a chef coats in howard. Uniforms were just the worst. The fabric was paper. Stanage didn't look good at all and being a professional chef is a bit like being an athlete. You gotta show up and no matter. What comes your way if the push through to the end of the evening and get all the dishes out.

"He's my absolute pleasure to welcome back to johnny gould's jewish state to via tenenbaum. Absolute pleasure to be with you again. You know you are a true free speech. Doyenne and for this particular podcast. I think it's the first thing verson ground rules as you can smoke. That's the first thing eight you're wanting to billion and the second thing is you truly opened my eyes to my own. I think tolerance of jew hate when we first met two years ago thinking because before that time you know. I've been conditioned i think in growing up in the uk in school where they're only three jewish kids to tolerate the what they call politely banter works erm you would call anti semitism and it did overstretched itself from time to time and i think that is a sort of shall we say looking for a better word but would have jimmy cued. I think from a lot of british people. And i think that's what you sean likes this book. Which is finally out in english. That's why it's called the tame taming of the ju. it's not just a take on shakespeare. It's the taming of the jewel. I mean giuseppe. Funding indicated biden. Own amazing to me edo deny or tolerate and sometimes joined together. Fox's would there accuse us we'd the hate us. That was shocking. I mean the fell. Shocking was citizen. This admit is imminent burden. I didn't expect it. I went to britain. Because i'm a tinto naomi's love english data. I said okay. My published opportunity mean sister. Go anywhere you want whatever you would like to go is i like to go to britain. I like to go. i like to see did out. I mean zane ought to do it better than anybody else. That's what i remember. And then the was black seed said. Okay i'll see you two belting stone which one stone i didn't expect anti-semitism and i didn't expect such a contaminating such a contagious. Such deepen. they semitism so deeply rooted. You know it on an island katelyn or in england which is the most important of course a bit of the uk but it was a frightening to sit and what is more fighting. Wants to see the basically. I'll kind of collaborating. Sometimes they had to fight jewish lead. Doesn't seem like law. Your people told me this and that your people told me i interviewed. People not told me are available. The life is a horrible thing so this is the common people and it took time. Tim's admitted but one that gate open has had them open and started talking. Honestly say to me you know. How many times have been told delta jew oh you know let us all kinds of dips and it's like amazing much so and little kits in manchester of hasidic. The auto talks kits in manchester and london will have had acts pelted them only storm so whatever it is i mean is a big addictiveness and we talked to jewish leaders saying even when the time used to say anything against wirelessly well owning two positions if to say one wowed against jimmy coleman only now's opt in the position you know as it became hewison you wayne saying that a one is easy allies. That are not going to be selected you know in a volume label for example district. Tina zero willing to say it was piping to see that one of the most disturbing rates. I think of british antisemitism and this might go around the world as well is. There is a sort of dog whistle so that someone can maintain that they're not anti semitic so someone who is an influence on me. Extreme left and concise something assiduously continuously hard left without. Referencing jews but then. His followers commend dog whistle a really serious anti semitic sort of betrayal of what they think themselves. I'm using an example of a very powerful voice. Which is john bishop. Who has who has three and a half million followers. He prostrate himself in front of ken loach on twitter. He said all this great interpreted it was as though he transferred the word. A jeremy corbyn for ken loach. I would kneel before him. And then if i couldn't anymore i prostrate myself in front of him which set off a huge torrent of jew hate and of course he a month ago on holocaust memorial day. Couldn't believe the terrible tragedies and then this is where the problems lie and that's an eye opener i think for british choosier surprising the anti-semites i mean disgust for britain and coastal are the places. You know that they took very nicely. Buddy dead jews in world war cho- you knows such nice people bubble and so bad and let's give some money to memorize them and and an make any fence you know maybe even endows of comments may be whatever it is making events you know in in a beautiful place to memorize their juice by the juice living was you know i mean it's like at all let's let you know what's album changes on the plane and of course the cord is a polish time. The code is is the stinian am am by itself. You know if you kill by the palestinians you know it doesn't mean that you don't like jews you know if you're critical officially doesn't mean that you're antisemites if you are cup only fizzle and if the only people who care about our justice palestinians because you killed by nobody else. Don't get about. Muslims in china while being tortured by million. Your don't care about syria. Don't care about libya you don't care about lebanon. You don't care about you. Don't even know what happens in yemen. Of course you never heralded by the war in chechnya and and distorted opening their head about anything. Only but it's going to stadiums you know is that there's a problem and they interesting thing when when i went into states and talk to the people and i tied to figure out. Why only this issue bottles you know. Other they show from people is back know underneath it. The other side was fight. Independence genius he. So did choose members alleys jews and a hall of people or some people would say something like you know what you will high. I don't know why feedbacks why feel about palestinians and i don't feel about anybody else. I have to think about it not over the palestinians up. You know it's like when. I wanted to start with like anyone to my my wife. Easy as you mentioned and i went to take a towards kamla sound everything and i'm gone to straight on that and i pick up young people young white folks as they call them. You know students. And i say i. My name is ahmed. And i'm from palestine. Would you like to appointing the individual cumberland. I say to say some wards full touma. Addison sister palestines and yet when you see slice cates looked like he must santana even studious and everything or well drafts. And the person free pop stein. And then he apologizes up. Tradit- day. Yes not yet picked up to join the battle. I'm just like you away. Think i'm posting. Think whether you might want to. Nobody looks like from his teens. You don't even have. Some people do not know the distance. When i asked him to stupid question between lemon palestine.
NASA prepares to land Perseverance rover on Mars
"Today will determine the fate of NASA's perseverance. Mars Rover mission The Red Planet will have a new robot resident. If all goes well, and this morning a produce scientist is talking about what she calls the scariest moment of the mission. New Santana Mordo is here with more on what to expect in those seven minutes. Well, it's called the seven minutes of terror, describing the rovers entry descent and landing to Mars. Basically, it takes seven minutes for NASA's perseverance to go from the top of Mars atmosphere to the planet's ground. For the entire descent to general crater. The rover will have no help or commands from NASA's team on Earth. Perseverance will be plummeting to Mars at about 12,000 MPH and must slow down to zero in that seven minutes. The rover will use parachutes and retro rockets to help it will also use to rain, relevant navigation. Basically, that's mapping of the ground, determining where it's safest to land in real time. Purdue University associate professor of planetary science. Briony Horgan, dubbed the seven Minutes the scariest moment of the mission organ played a key role in the mission, and she and the NASA team of worked for this moment, saying it's crucial, but they say it's just the start Surviving
Marvel’s Helstrom Is Now Streaming on Hulu
"Hulu is premiering hellstrom which. At one point was known as Marvel's. Hellstrom. But somehow the marbles disappeared probably because it has no particular relationship to the marvel comic character and because Jeff Lobe is out at Marvel TV and they're changing their marvel TV exactly and they're changing the entire administration. So Hulu basically has in this particular case, a somewhat orphaned TV show that he is not very good. It is. So what you're saying is it's all connected Dan. Bullets connected to eventual cancellation I would assume. I turn what ever it's just not very good. It's IT'S A it's been. If you go online, you can see how the original character of. Demon Hellstrom and his sister Santana Anna here. Look in the comex they look nothing like that nothing in their world looks anything like the comedy connection basically, it's been re conceived as A. Color drained. Overly dark exercises drama of the type the TV has had like twenty in the past five years and the even acknowledge multiple times in the first five episodes. How much TV and movies have been doing exorcism stop and yet they do hassle absolutely nothing new or interesting with it.
MLB Playoffs Preview
"Okay. Let's get to the American theories start today obviously the headliner is the the series I'm going to be lucky enough to do starting at seven o'clock. Tonight we've got the Indians playing host to the Yankees you got Shane Bieber Garrett Cole a good old fashioned. Of Two aces one guy you know the best pitcher on the planet two years ago versus Shane Bieber's the best pitcher on the planet this year, what are you expecting in this series? Yeah. Mean this is going to be one of the best games of the entire postseason. I suspect you know what an unbelievable matchup shame bieber won. The MLB pitching triple crown wins the are strikeouts I gotta do that since Johan Santana and two, thousand six, and he not even be the most dominant picture in this game was Garrett Cole is pretty good. I looked up any postseason series game would match up and I might have missed one but the last. Game. One. Battle with a lower co by the area that I found was two thousand fourteen Clayton Kershaw as eerie won the MVP versus Adam wainwright who had a two three yards that year. So there's been some great ones we had Sherzer Colin game the world series last year, but this is just Terrific game one matchup for me the key thing in this series, and in this game, tonight is going to be how clean they play and I gotta say having watched the Yankees a lot this year they have not performed well on defense I was looking at defensive runs saved and there's no perfect measure of defensive play but the Indians were tied for second best in the regular season defensive run save they have an excellent defensive team Garrett Cole was talking about yesterday how the the Indians don't make mistakes in on the other hand. The Yankee seem to make a lot of mistakes the key guy for me in this series, labor. Taurus who has not had a good season he is not played well, defensively what about for you just some other factor that's jumping out of you. Yeah. I wasn't good point on the defense I watch Erin Moods game session the other day Friday or Saturday they made a bunch of airs and the look on his face was just discussed. Because that's been a problem on your ankles. Yeah. Obviously, it's the Cleveland offense. Are they going to be able to generate enough runs and I'm intrigued because yet they had one of the lower homerun rates in the majors. The Yankees allow the most home runs of any playoff team. You Know Garrett call had some of those homerun issues you know in the middle of the season not so much as last couple starts, but the Yankees do give up run so. That's to me. CLEVELAND'S GONNA have to figure out a way to knock it few the fence Jose Ramirez of course has been red hot Carlos Santana, great regular season, but he's heated up a little bit the last couple of weeks. So that's the key can Cleveland hit any home runs off the New York pitching and can the Yankees hit on the road the numbers the road splits for the Yankees this year are shocking. Great. Point. In fact, we had a note saying Sam. Millard this one of the twenty largest home roads blitz I. Forget how far he went back. This was history X. number of years but the twenty largest. Were Colorado Rockies, teams, and the other was the two thousand twenty so that yeah. Huge toll roads blitz this year. The. White Sox and Oakland Plankton a Lucas G Lido the obvious pick for the white sox start in Oakland Hey seuss Lazaro gets the start the young left-hander for the Oakland athletics we had serling the podcast yesterday and she mentioned the white sox fourteen in our game started by left-handers Lazardo left-hander. So I was a little bit surprised but maybe that's kind of where Oakland is with their rotation right now. Now, they don't have a clear number one I was surprised because Lazaros last appearance was actually in relief so I thought they might use them out of the end. This could be kind of a bullpen series for Bob Melvin right buster they had the lowest era In relief many team you know really deep bullpen saw even the Lazardo starting I would not expect him to go deep into this game maybe even just one time through the rotation.

Romans 49 the one I thought that he would actually get a bet down. I'm a little surprised that that one winning surprise winning impression is no surprise. He is 52 to 1, the longest shot on the board. Dallas Stuart and Joe Rocco. In the irons, New York traffic 15 to 1, Paco Lopez and Saffy Joseph is Ah Ah, actually, I think he's gonna end up being like the third or fourth choice when it's all said and done. Probably a little bit of a buzz horse here out here among the horseman Honore P. 8 to 1 in the 16 post position with Mike Smith. John Sheriff's is the trainer. Tis the law 4 to 5, Manny Franco and Barclay Tagg. An authentic on the outside Bob Baffert 9 to 1 John Velazquez in the iron, So there's your Kentucky Derby odds for right now and again betting is open. And we've got a bunch of our hot We have 30 minutes to the first post 31 minutes right now to the first post long time before we get to the Kentucky Derby, So a lot of money will be bet on there, Terry.

Here's the Owen polar. It's four to one Atlanta bottom of the eighth, a pitch is low one and one. I mean they can do it. However they wanted. But typically a team if you're fifty fifty might wait until an out or two and then get your guys warming, the one one power swings and misses straight to the other part of it is. Why would you be taking sirocco out? He's been dominant. Here's a called strike three to pull our. He did not think, so over the outside. That is the third straight strikeout for young. I'd probably say I'd probably say Santana most egregious is tough because you can make a case that for the longevity standpoint. It's it's Brown because he was so good for so long. Suppose it throws people because we just jump in. And we go back into the Entra later. So here we are live exactly so here. So my whole back story. So I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. My last name is Santana. But I'm a talion on Russian everyone thinks I'm Mexican I speak fluent Spanish, but I'm actually just a Russian Jew from Texas. I moved out to Los Angeles. At fifteen years old. I went to boarding school for the performing arts. I always had a passion for acting and I've been out here ever since. And now, I'm thirty three years old. And in the press, I don't know fifteen years gosh that makes me sound so old I've had a career in entertainment. I also launched attack business I have a influence or career as well. So I like to think of myself as someone who's got their hands on a lot of pots more than a couple more things. I know. Well, I have some things on the horizon we're getting into producing and doing some fun things. But I I love what I love about. It is. And I think I watched my mom do this. She's huge inspiration in my life. But I love that women today can be multifaceted. And we don't have to be in one box. I mean, look at you. For example, you have your hands in so many different pots, and I think that that's really exciting that today were embracing the modern woman multifaceted, and there's lots of duality. So I'm just charging along in those footsteps fifteen years old you move to LA by yourself. Yeah. I don't know. What my parents were thinking wait, we need to dissect that I went to boarding school for the performing arts. So it's not like, I was running amok. But yes, I I was out here pursuing a career in entertainment getting my education at the same time. But yeah, I look back at my parents. And I'm like if I had a daughter, there's no no way that she would be living in L A fifteen your choice, their choice, our mutual. It was mine. I did a full PowerPoint presentation. I knew I wanted to go to LA wanted to be an actress I knew I wasn't going to be able to do that living in El Paso, Texas. So I begged them and after a year of public school. They were like, okay. This is her dream. This is her passion. Like, we'll we'll let her go and do it. So you arrive in L A fifteen years. Old walk us through like what's happening. How how you sort of went from fifteen to where you are now. Well, that's a long trajectory. But yeah, I started going to school Idyllwild arts academy, which I which I loved I mean, it was geared towards people pursuing the arts in a professional capacity..
