"A road diet. See how to try to shoehorn this philosophy international hood. All it will do is create massive traffic jams and still nobody will be on the bus so far. The, by the way, the restriction here is they can only use this on land where at least five units are currently allowed, so would not replace single family homes that there's like a five unit. I dunno condo complex. They can take it and develop into something bigger. But you're right they're allowed under these rules to build fewer parking spots. It gets it gets very dense and wording to go through these articles and most people don't read these articles. They don't understand it complicate it. But what I do is create massive traffic on the west side beyond. What's already there so far? The units are proposed and here are the neighborhoods. Koreatown Westlake palms, and saw tell if you know, where those neighborhoods are, and palms and saw tell us on the west side. That's not far from me. I'm very sensitive to this. Oh, because when they have traffic jams on these streets, even though it's a couple of miles from me it spills over into everything else, the west side is over loaded. I mean, there's so many things they ought to do. They ought to open up roads to go through the Santa Monica mountains. They ought to open up like the VA. The VA is a huge block on the west side, huge plot of land is a big piece of property and no, no roads. Go through the VA except little boulevard. They had to open up the VA and build four lane roads to create more east west traffic back and forth and then more north south traffic going over the Santa Monica mountains in the valley. That's what rational people would do. And instead, they're doing the opposite. They're stuffing in these, but seventy nine unit apartment buildings nip. "So like we lived in a neighborhood growing up where we backed up to the Santa Monica mountains, and there were tons of coyotes, and if I had outdoor cat they were going to get eaten and I lost three cats to coyotes or rent flesh disappeared and then one cat, and they every time I lost. When I would just name the next one Sam I was like, no one another Sam, we need another Seir this. I feel like that is psychopathic. Yeah. Kind of. But that is not even the saddest part of the story. So then I get this last cat named Sam and. At our house. And and I get a knock on the door. And it's the next door. Neighbors who have my cat in a box and the cat was dead because their dog the cat was walking along the fence and their dog pot like big huge. I can't remember what kind of dog it was but took his hand and like pod, the cat and friggin bent, the cat in half. What snapped at spine? Like like like, I don't even know how the dog did it. But he like took his like again this. This cat was like in a not catch. And they brought it over in the box. That was so traumatic had issue. Story. I've never shared. I'd never talked about that in here. It was really traumatic for me. So what is my story? I saw dead. Well, that's what I'm saying. Your neighbor is also psychopath. Yes. But back to capping psychopaths. Yeah. I think they are. Well, okay. So what is it about cats that you think it seems to be psychopathic base seem a little like manipulative and also like like everything's on their terms. You know, it's like Mimmo you'll pet me now or no, no, you don't touch me. Now, like, they're always the it seems like and then you should be grateful. I don't know why cats like have this look like when they let you pet them. Like, you should be grateful that I'm over here letting pet me I feel like not kittens with these older cats have this attitude, and it's just funny. And then I had a cat. That would go nuts and just like run around the room in circles, like a crazy person. Oh my God. I had to shut the door. I was so terrified of this cat when it did that that I had to like, I I ran out of the room and shut the door because I'm like, this cat is not what is that? Does anybody know about that? Yeah. They all do that. What is that thing? I don't know what it's from. But it's like, you know, when it's probably related to the hunting thing where get this burst of energy and start losing their minds running to that too. Sometimes. Yeah, I get it with Sigmund. When he's like hasn't had enough exercise that but like how the hell exercise? I guess you can play with the cat. Maybe I didn't do that enough. Yeah. Cats, basic personality is just you're welcome. "Teachers are able to teach more effectively in a small classroom. So I think it's a win win. Noguera says smaller class sizes allows teachers to give students the necessary attention they need to excel. "It's been a devastating few days in southern California. I shooting at a bar that claimed the lives of twelve people most of them teams and twentysomethings hours later and literally within eyesight from that bar smoke started rising from nearby hillsides by Saturday more than a quarter million people had been evacuated from the Los Angeles area. Let's go to ABC's chief national correspondent, Matt gut men because Matt you're right in the thick of it there. Those numbers two hundred fifty thousand people. That's I mean that's astronomical. Yeah. It basically over the best few days we've seen this massive exodus of people leaving and the Malibu area. And what you're basically talking about is also the San Fernando Valley, the western parts of it tremendously populated areas. Now, the fire is still encroaching through the Santa Monica mountains, pretty wild area. But you know, I live just ten miles from where parts of that fire are and. You know, we've had Paul's of smoke over our house. My wife was wearing a surgical mask the other day. So it's affected huge amounts of people in one of the most populated places on the planet. We have had bone dry conditions at least for the past year drought for several years, and he sent to Anna wins with winds gusting sixty seventy ninety miles an hour. That is basically like putting gasoline on a fire that if those winds kick up over the next couple of days, and they push in the right directions. This could be catastrophic. Well, so that southern California where you are in northern California. You haven't even deadlier fire. Right. It's the deadliest and the most destructive in state history at this point. So I mean, this is not back country. Right. These are people in cities and towns in Los Angeles, California, suddenly trapped by flames. Yeah. Some of the people trying to get out a number of people who died in these fires were trying to flee them and one of the problems is that the advance of the fire is because of that win. And is so fast that literally people couldn't get out of the way fast enough. Please please the two fatalities here in southern California where people who died in their vehicle, apparently, according to officials fleeing the flames we had one woman describing these embers just flying at her as if she's in this furnace surrounded by fire. I'm surrounded fire. Now, I don't know what to do. So Matt I'm going to ask you because you know, we talked to climate scientists after other fires they say, yeah, you're going to see more of these because brush is more is drier Windsor stronger. But then the president said the only reason for these fires is that forced management is so poor have California's been reacting to that statement at all I don't know if there's a public reaction, I know that there is a reaction among firefighters. And it is with just absolute anger and disappointment at the president. Here's the situation for firefighters. They have been battling flames basically year round for several years now each fire season has progressively become worse. And we're talking about I think four out of the five years or three out of the forty years have been the worst fire seasons on record. And firefighters are stretched to the absolute limit you come up into this community. Now looks like you know, a war zone of demolish birth of houses. And he's firefighters are seeing it all the. Time they're being separated from their families. This is their job. They want to do it. But they're saying they need more people out on the fire lines. And the result is that even despite the enormity of these fires more firefighters have killed themselves committed suicide over the past two years and have died on the fire lines. And this incident in the rates of suicide has simply skyrocketed because these folks aren't getting enough time off enough time with their families, and I'll tell you the fire chiefs with whom I've been speaking are extremely concerned about this feeling that that hopeless is this continues to get out of control Matt gunman there near the fire in Los Angeles. Thank you so much. Thanks, brad..
