"Will we start today Jimmy Yeah? Well, I thought we'd start at the injuries maybe look at our fifty three man roster that we will published on Saturday I. Guess Maybe a Little Earl Thomas talk since he might be landing with the cowboys after Ravens cut him and then we'll just talk about today's practice notes observations. So let's start the injuries as said. I the bigger injury in terms of importance to the team, of course, is Andre Dillard. Left practice about midway through I'd say. He slowly walked to the medical tent. Basically across one football field and then the medical ten for a little while. Ten minutes and then he left the medical tent and went inside the November complex. So not a great development for him I had heard that. I mean he he was sort of missing parts of practice earlier in camp and I had actually heard that after the the players reported to the Novacare complex and before they started practicing you lecture on crutches at one point and did not look good moving around. So he was playing through some pain earlier in Camp I assume that whatever happened to him today is related to that. So when you look at his Situation clearly, he needs other reps that he can get, but at the same time as he is worth anything to if you don't get them fully healthy before he starts practicing again. So that's a really a big injury to look to sort of monitor going forward because these if it's a serious injury than I imagined like Jason Getting Plug right tackle if it's not serious than again, you have to sort of kind of. Determine. What's more important you in terms of getting them ready or getting more or get him healthy or getting more reps and it was interesting to how the alliance ovation worked out today because Lane Johnson was also out. These are listening listening listening him. He was at he was at practice Vitali just yet. He was. He was not like he was wasn't there at all was their stationary bike. Yeah. Useless. The day-to-day, the lower body and Eagle's had matt prior filling in originally when Dillard was still in in the lineup. Are Prior Right Tackle Dillard at dillard leaves in Eagles instead of moving Jason Peters over potentially in Lake in things that way they split during my Lada right in there at left tackle, which I thought was interesting that. They didn't really open the door of Peters taking back over that Yeah I think you know you have everyone furiously taking notes do that. But also like I don't think he'd do that until you know the severity of Dillard's injury. Star Move Peters around because. You have to get him ready at right guard too. So the more reps he can get it right guard the better he knows how to play left tackle already that's the big one in terms of significance. As you mentioned, the other big one in terms of severity of injury appears to be Josh Perkins who suffered an upper body injury in his quote out indefinitely asked does not set out a fan. Link Season Ending Regal vernacular that means that like I dunno, he like he lost an eyeball or something. Like Good, we heard like multiple weeks quote unquote for Hargrave you know we are all that serious but when Allen definitely as a whole new level. So to be determined was wrong with him. Specifically, you have couple undrafted free I'm sorry of one undrafted free agent in Noah Tom Guy who you know his chances of making the roster now improved of course, they also just claimed a Caleb Wilson off of waivers from the Washington football team who made him the final pick in the draft In two, thousand, nineteen. So those guys get a better chance of making the roster. I think they're gonNA look to the outside to bring somebody in whether that's now or when teams around the League nacre final cuts news available Jimmy who's at Man Alex L. O. You. Did, he okay I don't know the whole situation on this. So I'm kind of the speaking keep that mind about to say but apparently from what I've read our celts, Ellis has type one diabetes and I don't know if that's kind of a factor with the covy tuition at the are concerned about that and everything I thought it was weird on legal cut him because I thought ls look good at times came in late in training camp last year and he looked good in practice he was making catches. That Ravens, preseason game it really good like tackle on special teams He also had those plays. We talked about earlier in the year when they're kind of them as a fullback like I thought he could block played in. Grill Games last year he did and it's like I would rather have that guy as my third tight end. He wasn't really nice black at the goal line. I forget who that was against packers was it early in the area is it was on a lamb block he platinum guy big bring him back the. Titans he was doubt. Scott also has he practiced dowse gotta practice today. Displayed, having a hairline fracture ernest gum. That was a taped up heavily just just relaxed like. We've been talking about guys like Al.. Like City Jones. For example, it's not great for them that that you know he. Missed practice today by the way it's not great that like a guy like him as missing all these practices dowse gutter like he's fine. He's I think he's already at the point is career where he doesn't need practice that badly just relax let that bum he'll get ready for the season will good to gal but they're really light on tight ends now it's GonNa be difficult just practices unless they signed somebody pretty quickly I would think but you you might see a roster move out within the next day just just bring a body in. Dimension Robert, Davis, strawberries week-to-week. Okay. I. Mean you know he's kind of on the bubble whatever? He's on the roster last year Fiona mentioned that we tend if you don't WanNa mention it then I said. Let me. So we go to the fifty three man roster. We're not gonNA go through the whole thing like we did a couple of weeks ago. We're GONNA give our updates from the last time we went through or we can just go we can go position by physician rolled back I mean quarterback. hurts the I think even I guess the update would be this time around like. I think you I. Both agree that at some point hurts is clearly overtake Seinfeld for the number two job But as far as like the guy, a narrowly cut kyle Aleta of any kind of threat at all but those are going to be the three guys running back. Top three I think are pretty clear like Sandra Scott and would you have corey? Clement is pretty close to allow at this point I would say one hundred percent and then beyond. Then, you have like Elijah Holyfield Michael Warren in Adrian killings competing for that last night who'd he gotTa those three I? Didn't Holyfield used first up today with the three guys you mentioned out and then on the quarterback thing to yeah I would say hurts is coming for selves job but it is not felt for now still that Ramos it's clear from like at least Friday's practice like as of today is definitely still the number two I would say a running back. It's player to be named later over Holyfield. I think more likely they bring somebody in Holyfield but of the three Holyfield I would say is the number four guy than that receiver Sean Jackson Jj Arteaga Whiteside Greg Ward jalen regular John Hightower in Watkins all seem to be laxed me out although I feel like quizzes Kinda cooled off here..

It doesn't matter because every day is Halloween. That's right you know October. Thirty first is for tourists and some of US live here all year long. So think of this as sort of your your your your your Halloween Hangover Cure Yes because we're all little sad. That Halloween is gone and this year in particular. Halloween went by so quickly. This was really only weird Halloween for us in California many parts of it including our little part of it because the whole frigging states on fire. Yeah so that's been a lot of fun. But but Sandra and I have been doing a lot of Well honestly Kinda volunteering. If you think about it. We've had we had. We both have day jobs where we Aid in fire victims things yes and we also had some evacuees in our house along with four legged ones. Yeah nine nine stranded cats ten counting our cat. Who's stitches you all know our producer of the show who hates cats and most other people very very unhappy? This joke my life does a joke a hate you all. You're not my real dad. And ever since they left she has been following following us around like a little shadow. Yeah she's like. Don't let anybody else come in here. Don't let them. Maybe some other people that I like but I'm good enough enough. I'm good people. You only need me in. I'm going to be around you all the time to remind you. Yeah and she's right. She is right. She's the best cat so tonight. Nine is also another long-awaited episode because it is our salute to Joe. Hell Joe Hill is. I'm just going to go out there and say just probably probably my favorite horror probably kind of I'm just going to say. He is my favorite horror author. He's definitely one of my favorite authors whore or not what he's up there. I mean like you know top three and I think that he's an author that transcends John Mara I have recommended books of his to my mom who is not a horror person at all and she really did enjoy the book that she did read of his and and I think if you're listening to the show and you're one of our horror listeners. I think that you've probably read many of his books. And if you haven't this is going to be an introduction and a few suggestions on some books to to read by him and really just get down to enjoying. Yeah sell this whole episode. It is gonNA be spoiler free. If you haven't read Joe Hill. Shame on you and if you have then this abi leg wonderful little time or we can just geek out together gather and of course come find us on social media and talk to us about Joe Hill and we're GonNa pick the three of our most favorite of his works and just the focus on those so there's a couple that aren't gonNA get mentioned but we loved them anyway. There's nothing he's produced that we don't like frankly so even the lake sound it's like Oh that might not be my most favorite. Maybe this one more but I mean there. He's written nothing that I can't like that I don't like I agree. There's nothing I've read by him that I did not enjoy sell. I've gotten to meet Joe Hill three times and hear him speak this last time. Scott finally got to go. He's alignment holy. Oh really sick or working or something and so it was like really really amazing that he finally got to see him and if you have a chance to ever go go listen to him speak attend a signing. His signings are wonderful. He always reads a big passage of his latest book that he's promoting and he answers questions But he does it all with a lot of storytelling. See really feel like you're getting your money's worth so to speak like he's giving you more than can you expect. He goes over and above and beyond to make this a fun interactive storytelling experience variance yet. He really is a very fun and very nice guy. That poor guy was so tired by the end of that signing but he he just gave the same energy you to every single person who came up to the table. He would sign as much as you had to give him. It was great. Yeah I was absolutely amazing. Oh Lake really quickly Kley. Should we tell people were for Hong Lean if they didn't see yeah. I was a toy story alien and I was Mario. I I have a real mustache right. Now I had to shave further fires where a particle mask and I said. Well I guess I'll just try it on growing of an act it was. It was definitely an accident. You know once I shaved off that bottom on my goatee I was like what the heck yeah. I don't plan on ever having a mustache. Dash again in the Sandra is overjoyed to hear this. I have to say it is not my favorite look. It's really weird. Scott doesn't look like himself and it kind of scares me. You have to admit though I wear well even if it's not my look I wear it. Well now you just look like Mario also for those that have been living under a rock. Joe Hill is part of a really famous family. His whole family are writers. You might have bearded them. He has a brother. named Owen He has a mother Tabitha and he has a dad named Steven King King. So they're amazing and they all the coolest people obviously seen in king is my hero and just to clarify to in case. You haven't read his books though he writes horror. And like Kinda fantasy sci fi horror in a way due to He and his dad had like totally different styles very different. Yes and don't let that fool you and I think most people once they start reading them they'll you'll really see the difference their both incredibly talented writers but they're they're totally doing their own thing. Okay Scott we're going to let you go first all right so I I would like to start with. I feel the stepping point for people who don't typically read horror and that is the firemen I'll K.. And this book make make no mistake. It is a horror novel. But it's also a science fiction post apocalyptic novel and. It's so well done tally. The the main character like many of his books actually is female and she finds herself in this world where it has ended people are spontaneously combusting and just being burnt to ash seemingly randomly. And it's it's her story finding You know going through the world finding a community of survivors and also meeting the character of the firemen who who is also a really interesting solid back story of a character I. It's it's one of his longer books but every single moment just snaps. It's such a good book it's It's definitely an incredible book. It's he borrows. Actually straight up steele's stigma characters from his dad in this one and it's really funny and he totally so that in there like this was stolen. This was stolen and it's like these wonderful like almost Z.. Streak Omar type things Yeah a lot of his books are the type of horror where there's some things some supernatural. Or what have you think. But there's also a lot of the human drama a lot of real life Horrifying stuff that his characters go thrill and the firemen's Lake AAC Definitely really good example of that. Yeah and and you know it warms my science fiction heart with this novel because there really is some fantastical science-fiction science fiction in this. That just just really makes me giggle with Glee. And this is the book that I had my mom read who is not a horror writer reader at all. Um She loved it yeah. It definitely disturbed her more than most books do but she loved it. It's a really original concept to this whole thing with the spontaneous Fontaine assuming combustion and the the fires everywhere like I'm. I don't think I'd ever read another post-apocalyptic book that had a bat and I've read a lot. I am a big fan of spontaneous human combustion because I'm from the nineties. I don't know like I talk talk about a show called sightings that was like oh I loved it so much as a kid. It was like this weird show on Sunday afternoons. And I'd watch it. My mom would make like a big thing of grape kool-aid and I would just sit down and watch it and it was all about weird stuff cryptic words UFO sightings ghost. Hunting's all that stuff. And I loved it so much as a little kid and you'd watch sightings and then like on some mysteries would come on. One was just a wonderful like afternoon of television in my world. and spontaneous human combustion was a thing they in the early nineties. I it could be remembering this wrong but it was like like it was everywhere like I felt like I was constantly hearing about people spontaneously combust. It was as popular as acid rain shirt. And I I mean what happened. Why don't people spontaneously combust anymore? I think I think that mobile warming. Yep Ah yes changed it. I think it's changed. I mean we're already just all conspired hideously combusting at this point. Are you trying to tell me it was like a hoax. The combusting was a hoax. I know and it was ever proved. That would be saying that would be like saying that would be like saying that. Global warming is a hoax. No one tell me if if someone disproved contains combustion I love it so much. It's like so like the images like they would show on those TV shows and stuff of logging lake league like a pile of Ash. It's so seared into my mind. Yeah I don't know maybe I'll come bus. I don't know I don't know how it we're not not right away. Sponsors worse this way to go then you know scientifically dubious phenomena. Yeah we're going to call it a phenomena all right. Let's do my picnics as so so this is a little bit of cheating. It's my favorite work by Joe Hill. Did use is the farming. Your favorite. No No. I think what you're about to say as my favorite I'll really stole stole it But you had to let me. I did have to lie so that would be his first novel which is heart shaped box so good and it's so much fun. This is a wonderful wonderful novel. I have a really battered up. Copy that I have carried around for many moons and loaned to many people and it's so. It's a paperback out like a park. Paperback the colors are inside. The pages are like discolored. And like you know. Sepia hombre effect fact going on to them and this last time that we got to meet Joe had him. Sign this for me because I love my little battery traditions nations so much and this is a story about an ageing rocker. He's like a metal guy named Judas Coyne not his real name him and he has a collection of macab items. He has a hangman's noose. He has a witch's confession..

see myself on the dance floor at sixty five years old during the chow slide the cupid shuffle I didn't think people are GonNa WanNa be there with me either so look every couple of injury a twenty four years technically now we've been married twenty five years we have it's twenty five I was sanders fault are you sort of learn you learn your partner and you learn all the things that that make them go but also at the same time you're in space really awhile is is really you can see the withdrawal of a person and that happens in business regular life to same thing with your job if you're under job in all all you do is get up and go to your job do the tasks that are necessary and then you immediately leave while that's something you should probably question right right if you're not flee living I think that's one of the things you should be looking at so fresh in a in again this this is a part of I guess a little bit because I know out of the back story for you and we've been friends for years but you know you seem to take very similar to me you seem to take some of the adversity in your life and you're gonNA figure out not only are you going to thrive in it but then you end up figuring out how to make a business out of it and then and then so when we started talking I guess a month or so ago about on the show to talk about this new business loop packers or this new community that you're building I was really curious about you know sometimes it's challenging too to share your your shortcomings with the world And then sometimes there are other opportunities that you can find it as well so tell me a little bit about Lou packers and what it's all about what it means to you and and How you've turned some of these challenges that you've had into a community so lou baggers which is the name I love it it's my wife's it is the idea that your life is the circle that goes on in for everybody gets it anybody that doesn't I'm I love Your Life but it is you get up you go to work you dear job you come home you eat dinner you watch our TV go to bed and then you start that process over and over and over again it's giant Luke and for us hack in the loop is trying to break that cycle not saying that you have to quit your job but what can you do that breaks the cycle of get up oh to work do your job come home eat dinner watching our TV start all over again so for us it is talking to people trying to get them to find ways that they can actually indicate in love themselves because that's one of the big ones in I one of the harder ones for me to put me in front of everybody else in the world which is we do stress these entertainers you know this it's always do for everybody else well we're finger out that loop hackers is about loving yourself first so that you can then help and love everybody else so we're breaking the cycle and it's for us it started with we didn't we don't have to have a house although lace teacher you in people into seizes up get a job go to college and get the house in you all of these things and that's not necessarily true so for us we broke the Balut by getting rid of the House and moving into a smaller space into an RV we're a lot more confined over actually closer as a result I'm still working but I'm not working as much I'm breaking loop so that's what loop hackers really means for us is to find ways to break the cycle and I think that starts with asking yourself the questions that are in your head that you you don't talk to anybody else about we all go through that we ought yeah there's everyone that we talked to feels stuck and they do not know how to feel unstuck they do not know how to remove themselves from this hamster wheel might they're living and so we have and having conversations with people we know people we don't know just talk talking about ways that we can love ourselves better ways that we can shake up the monotony ways that we can be better service and more giving and I don't know I don't know what's going to be created onto this from the packers and I'm just excited so it's an and what's interesting about is it seems like you're you're making and I'm not disagreeing with you I'm just curious what your thoughts are you build the connection Between that loop that people are on over and over and over and over again hey in and day out and people that don't love each love themselves so are you are you maybe saying that there is a connect in between people that are a little bit of a little bit drone like in their daily activities in day in and day out and the relationship that they have with themselves absolutely I believe in everything sanders she just did a thing when for birthday which is thirty days of love yourself it's thirty little tasks of something you can do every day to love yourself when you start to look at something that you can do everyday you'll realize how much self deprivation there is how much we Z. beat ourselves up one of the great example she uses is every time somebody takes a picture of you and most of do this except for Narcissus most of us okay all I hate that picture we immediately look at that and find the negative it's like that for a lot of pieces of life and I think all of that is what allows you to get into that loop I know there are very few people when they were kids said all I'm going to go sit at a cubicle for that wasn't that wasn't your dream as a kid your dream to be a fireman a police officer all these wonderful things and then somewhere along the line we start loving ourselves and then we just did what we're supposed to do I want to bring back the picture thing because I read this from some like sixteen year old little wonderful thing on social media who said wing when there is a group picture and you view that group picture on Instagram facebook is an actual picture you're looking for yourself in that picture so his group mixture and you're in it you are looking for yourself you're not paying any attention to what anybody else looks like Enron view I can relate to that hit me like I'm thinking we we zero in that picture we look for ourselves and then recruit cheek it you you know hate that why still like we're not paying any attention anyone else but when you look at that and you think if everyone's doing that just paying attention to themselves in this fixture and berating them so why are we doing because no one else is looking at us it's it's exists weird weird thing that I look back and I think wait a minute there's so much that we are doing to try to squash ourselves in line I mean so much from away we looked away with ourselves are always putting ourselves down so he so the loop the loop packer community do you as you as you start to really grow this do you see this as people that are on this hamster wheel day in and day out is their only option to go full bore and turn one hundred and eighty degrees and go the other way or do you have small steps along the way for somebody that says am I'm living this life of of of of yeah it's the same thing over and over again but what would be an incremental step before I have to actually sell everything is just one decision is away and sell it all in Vine RV and move across country that's not realistic but what you can do is instead if you're on the loop and loop is I'm GonNa get up I'm going to go to work I'm GONNA come home I'm gonNA eat gentleman watched TV and the number to go to bed will take one of those pieces out maybe you don't watch TV doc gopher lock or maybe you say you know what it's watching TV I really did want to be an artist when I was a kid take that our and all of a sudden go start to draw or find class that you can take slowly but surely you can take small pieces of things that you don't necessarily like they're part of that wheel and you can create them much bigger wheel for yourself or completely different one but small pieces everybody has a voice in their head that's talking to them all the time and I think we don't actually listen to it we hear it but then we go no I can't do that all right so hold on before you go on this this is a good this is a good thing because now you just said yeah this voice in your head that you're hearing so share with me some of the things that you are you think that people are saying to themselves that would lead them to believe hey you know what even if I go to the one hundred eighty degree approach and sell everything in via an RV and drive across the country your drive to Florida this is probably the beginning of making changed so what are what are those words that people are saying to themselves or those action items that they are doing that that they wanna they start to realize I probably need to do something differently one of the ones I don't I don't have time to do that I don't have time to do this it inside of your head you're like man I really wish I could I could be an artist or I wish I could be a singer and then people will say I don't have time those those two things go hand in hand I don't have time in oh I don't think the money I don't have the money most of it is you're hearing all these excuses to why you and your partner can't do this or can't do that excuses or a big one you start to hear those I think you have to pause it and okay wait something else is going on in my life because when your kid if you really think about it kids don't have excuses as to why they can't do something the kids as hey I'm gonna go it's cold oh I can't do this because I have my phone Aqaba comment with all these different excuses so the voice is really the the counter ways to you or what your current status leads so if you're a person I mean I know you doug is a person you were feeling it you're hearing the voices saying wow something's got to change yeah yeah I know what it is right you know something has to change so that Sandra when you when you talk to your daughters about this was the what was the reaction that you got when you said well again I could be completely like thinking the other thing you know thinking just as fresh was saying that you know early like yeah this is a great adventure let's try it what was your reaction was it this'll be great adventure or no I don't WanNa go 'cause I have all of this this these ties here to wear and right now they have always for every move that we've ever done have always been those kids I said let's do it let's go moretti you know so we moved how many times twenty one times when it needs to be married twenty five years we've moved twenty and it's just you know he would have better neighborhood nicer house you know Orange County or whatever they were always just minimal reasons but we just love starting over.

Well what did you did you guys actually give away every did you sell it because I would have made a lot of money if it was up to her we sold it we gave away it away all right so a little bit a little bit of both they kept their kids of course what they got now have a home on wheels and they hit the road currently residing in Florida for the winter they now wanNA created new way to live and to love and to last they wanna be an inspiration to others who wished to do the same see fresh and Sandra Scott Mary twenty four years with two daughters there's and one shits name Luna love that now traveling fulltime in thirty four foot motor home they simply call dylan at still incorrect Camila de Dylan is a boy fresh and Sandra earned the beginning stage of creating a community of like minded individuals and they call that That community loop hackers community anyone who wants to reevaluate not just some things everything everything twilights on who is seeking a love affair with life in themselves I know I am experts in love and life welcome fresh and Sandra to the Nice guys on business hide cast out thin I'm happy to be here to be here so I forgot there's sometimes there's only two most of the Times only to people so I apologize for stepping on you and your and your comments I wanNA talk about Dylan for a second you know whenever I see an RV in a parking lot or in an RV place resting spot I always and people cry a cooking math in there because breaking bad please dispel the myth that all RV's that are a little bit older are not Are Not Meth labs yes they're definitely not that's thing one and you know what I'm going to be honest I actually thought the same thing when she brought his idea to me about hey we should get on the road and rbm thinking I'm not doing that I don't Camp I'm not it's not what you think it is we went out we looked at their beautiful spaces live in for sure and everybody honestly that I've met I've met no meth heads I've met no crackhead only really nice people oh it has been an amazing experience something to do out of the blue so Sandra I gotta ask you this because the most of the most of the time I'll use a Yiddish word here that my mom has always given to me it's always the cocteau idea of the guy to drop everything and just and just run away with his wife or sometimes without his wife but in this with his wife and oftentimes it's the woman that really you know you've you've you've you've made that home you've stayed in that home and I know the home that you guys moved from which was a beautiful home so what the hell why why did you decide you want you or whose idea with us it was this and why did you decide that you wanted to drop everything and leave well my fiftieth birthday which was couple years go home I understand we went camping pretend camping because I grew up a country girl unlike my city husband at I thought this'll be great we'll just make a day of memories pretend can't meaning we don't really have a means to camp tanked but we don't have all those things that we needed so we took the tent we took each other and we sat there and built a fire and played spades at night and and just had a ball but seeing all of the residents that were living in the state park that we went to opened like our brains to wait a minute people actually do this for real and more than just a weekend or a day which got us into looking at youtube videos of people that do this that was like a year end right were just watching people live their life the sway and let me just break in for just one quick second because you know I really like making grilled cheese sandwiches but I don't want to open up a restaurant I like eating but I don't WanNa be owned franchise for fast food establishment it's like okay so how did you yeah sorry go ahead there is freedom in this that we have never known to be able to not be tied to home or specific set of bills show their true I agree with you about the cheese thing because I'm thinking the same thing I'm like I don't really want to do that but we were starting to look at late and go why are we doing the things that we're doing every day y y you saw the House Beautiful House twenty eight hundred square feet in the holder we'll probably only living in two hundred square feet of the House I live in my in my office and my kitchen and every once in a while I use the bathroom so I I agree the I think we got about maybe three hundred square feet of my of my entire House that I live in and I don't even live in a big house in la I live in a small little tiny house but at the same time I you're you're you're living in such a microcosm of that place anyway it it's such a small amount of space that you're actually using and I started to look at it and look I add the stress of regular life to everything's to ym paying for all this space in my heating all forty eight hundred square feet supplying water for all this and as we started look at it now I don't really use most of what we're doing I I don't use the house so that SORTA led us to the path of looking after we went camping pretend camping per day to look and go could we live in a smaller space and what would that be like so turns out a thirty four hundred views smaller space for sure for what I went and looked at it and I was like I think I could do this I think I can actually make the transition so I I know I know the the community that you came from because has I was a part of that community also we both were the reason that Nice Guy Community that fresh and Sandra and myself even know each other as we both were represented by the same agent and to a degree still represented at Saint by that same agent although in a much smaller capacity for for both of us and I watched the the the rise of of this guy that came into our office one day and was an amazing act EMC big events bar Mitzvahs in the in the DC market place and I did the same thing and I watched all of the pressure fill with him and with me the same way you know we were both doing seventy five to ninety gigs a year that were in the Barn commits a space and killing it making a ton of money but having absolutely no free time you know and I looked at it and I said probably six or seven years ago I said I have to figure out what's the next step for me I you know I can't see myself as a joke around with with with people in my new world about what I did in my what's a little bit of your story and why you guys decided to make that transition I know it wasn't just a money thing it was partly money thing for me but it was also partly a what happens next in my life so what a lot of people that link you know me you see me and I'm your out there the level just kept going up the pressure kept going up I suffer from massive anxiety on a regular basis that I pretty much hit from the public from everybody from all the people that I work with and everybody's like hey fresh the party I I live with anxiety and stress and yeah I think the stress was starting to build up almost like a court it was getting ready to pop and I started to shut down like mentally shutdown I literally for the most part would do everything that I had you for work and then everything else I was shut off and that stress started to build up so undertook talk about that for a second how that was to receive a guy like fresh at home who is in the public eye you know this this really bounding happy energetic guy and for him to come home and give you you know that the Kinda did he did he withdrawal when he got home what was he like that that ended up being ace for sure I mean he still played the game at home to you know had to be dad he had husband he had keep ever when happy he had to be sure everyone was well cared for and so he cut this persona going on at home too and at some point though it did come crashing down where he couldn't pretend to home anymore either so that was difficult the whole family to see and witness and watch but you know we really just created space for him and and just I thought I was just super proud of him to allow the surrender that he did because he could have just kept playing the game but I think he felt safe enough to finally just surrender it and he was quiet or weeks absolute weeks we're all he did was draw or play music and and then all we did as a family is just you know kept checking in and you need anything and pretty much just left and be you know because it is very much a wife and a husband or any kind of you know support tax cut to fix it I wanna fix it I wanna make it better and we just knew whatever this was he was going through was important for him to go through because he eventually let go at all you know and then included a home that included all of it you know so I know that as a part of my like transition I'm a I'm a I guess make bold moves Kinda Guy and you guys definitely are that that type of couple you know mine ended with a with the marriage that dissolved seemingly overnight you know huge surprise to me and for me the bold move was I just needed to get Outta town you know and I I moved literally from the East Coast to the West Coast and just said I'm going to continue doing this emceeing thing for the bombardment swirled through this agency but I just gotTa get Outta here I just I can't even imagine being in this space but that's such a drastic move you know and you guys the same thing it's a one day you had to say we're picking up or doing this we're moving for me it almost was like it was a little bit easier because it was it was only me and your case you were uprooted your entire your entire family so tell me a little bit about what some of the symptoms are for somebody that might be in our listening community Internet Guy Community and they're thinking well I just WanNa drop it all and go to but I can I can do that as a single guy or I could do that as a married couple what does that look like to you guys at what are some of the signals that you need to say before you do it you know it's the signal honestly a lot of solitude you start to retract into yourself for the most part and the wait wait you're right it's twenty five I'm the I'm the woman news you're messing up it's twenty five years in for twenty five years this isn't normal ring things start to become not normal is when I believe you have to actually ask yourself the question okay what's happening what's going on in for me being -tainer being super excited guy all the time I wanNA make everybody laugh and I won't be the life of the party to all of a sudden I'm home in the only thing I can do is draw and and do music I think you have to look at that and actually ask yourself the real question what's going on not just what your cell phone with your spouse to say hey what can I do and what and we do so I think a lot of it.

"Happy mother's day to you that song is called. Settle something. We didn't do this week in the state of Georgia it settle for anything other than life. And I wanna thank you as a mother hopefully future grandma is an ants as a caretaker caregiver. Our thank you to all the Republicans, and the one democrat, and to my governor Brian Kemp who agreed with the author of life this week and the signing of heartbe pill. We have some Democrats have something to say about this. A death warrant has just been signed by governor Brian Kemp for all the women in Georgia. Sandra Scott, joined other female Democrats in the state house, denouncing the new law Representative Erica Thomas. They'll stand with the ACLU and urges other activists to join the fight. I'm speaking to the hearts of someone that will strike this Bill down before January two thousand twenty. So that women's voices will be heard. Parish WS voices were heard that's the thing. Our voices were heard, and so with all the blood spilled into the ground over all these years, all of the millions of black lives that have been murdered in vacuum tubes across the state remind me to I wanna hear what governor camp out in response to that. But remind me to talk to you about Georgia right to life today is just the beginning. We have too many children that are stuck in foster care the adoptions process while we've made great strides in Georgia. We have more to.

"Irregular, mortal person, the human feelings and frailties. That way. He's he's more in touch with the hopes of keep you know, Mike Gallagher has what it takes to make a pretty good Santa Claus, conscience values moral strength and conviction, and he's horrible to once. Again, here's Mike I'm so grateful that we're over one hundred eighty nine thousand dollars in our Salvation Army red kettle campaign. What an amazing year. We've had our goal was one hundred and fifty it would be pretty amazing to hit one hundred ninety maybe even two hundred thousand a lot of the folks here around the Mike Gallagher show officers and studios are saying. Yeah. But we hit two hundred there'll be there'll be people in this final week before Christmas who are grateful forever. The Salvation Army does we love rigging ringing, the bell for the Salvation Army red kettle this time of year. I got to interview my son Michael last week. A lot of people were touched by by Mike. Joy of finding God. And being led to some great decisions. Thanks to the Salvation Army. They do so much good. Whether you can put in five fifty one hundred five hundred thousand we've had a couple of people put in some nice, big fat donations. And I'm just so very grateful to John war Mak who donated one hundred dollars two days ago, five hundred and twenty dollars donated anonymously, Sandra Scott donated fifty two dollars, and she wrote I donate because the Salvation Army focuses on the soul as well. As the material needs of people, and that's important to me. I love Mike Gallagher on the radio. And I want to help him beat Hugh Hewitt now, that's not the Christmas spirit. We're a little ahead of you this year. But who knows he may have a final big push at the end 'cause I've sort of I haven't backed off, but I've sort of tried to modulate my fundraising since since we we we went over our goal. How about my pillow coming? Through with a six thousand dollar donation, which helped us, of course, my buddy, Tom sedate precision payroll came through in a big way. So again, we're at one hundred and eighty nine thousand one hundred and thirty seven dollars. We've had a little bit of a slow day. I'm not gonna lie. I think you'll come through in a big way. So help to get us to one hundred and ninety and maybe even that magic Mark of two hundred thousand which would be fifty thousand over our goal, and it feels awfully good together. Doesn't it? Thank you for your generosity. Thank you for. For being so supportive of of all of our, you know, my wife years ago said why don't you do something for people that have just jawboning about issues all the time on your radio show? What you do things for people. And that's what we do. We try to we try to. Help the Salvation Army. We help food for the poor. We help prison fellowship ministry. Gallagher's? Army the fallen officer fund big special broadcast New Year's Eve will be here. I hope you can join us for a special New Year's Eve edition of the Mike Gallagher show brought to you in part by help services out of South Carolina and Gallagher's army the fallen officer fund which helps the families of a police officers killed in the line of duty is this show's different than a lot of the rest of Lana shows don't do this kind of stuff and we'd like to dive into the the the breaking news. And what to think of it their news stations that we're thrilled to welcome to our team. We boy we had a lot of activity over the last few weeks. There have been some changes in the radio world and with all of Laura Ingraham's success on Fox News. And I knew it was coming. I thought there's no way I know Lawrence us tremendous, and I consider her a friend, even though we all have always been in the same timeslot and sort of competed in radio. Oh, I thought there's no way you can go from early in the morning till late at night doing radio and TV and sure enough she announced that she's leaving her radio show, which led to a lot of Mike Gallagher affiliates around the country like hickory North Carolina's w h k y talk radio twelve ninety AM and one or two point three FM. And we've always had our eyes on that pair of stations love the Carolinas. You know spent a lot of time at at lake at lake talks away and my friends pagan, Joey and my family, my sons there so in the upstate of South Carolina. So welcome w h k Kyi hickory North Carolina. And how 'bout Vidale? You're Georgia you want. It makes me wanna Videla onion W P. News talk nine seventy AM and FM one zero five point three thrilled to join their team as well. Great news about Hartford, Connecticut, all kinds of stations. That are joining us. In fact, I think I thought. Unless you're going to find this out about an hour ago. But as usual, you're a little down on your, you know, you've stumbled on the job you're about to find out an hour or so ago about Hartford Connecticut, I think we start today in Hartford if I'm not mistaken. So let's get that information and welcome Hartford and get the right station and callers, welcome in to the Mike Gallagher show. If you are joining us, if you're a new listener, if you're not a new listener, if you're you're settling in for another what a year we've had been a record breaking year best year that we've ever had in the in the history of the Mike Gallagher show, either locally or nationally, and we are into our twenty nineteen. Oh, Mark are. It'll be the twenty first year that we will be in national syndication. We started in October of nineteen ninety eight hard to believe then the time that flies by and it just I feel so I was thirty nine or no for twenty one years ago. Fifty eight forty three hundred thirty seven years old when I first became a nationally syndicated host. And that was I remember thinking, wow, I'm talking to people all over the country. It's such a such a exciting. Just a great way to make a living. And I'm so blessed and so fortunate and a lot of listeners have been on the journey with me over the years, and my weight has come and gone. So I've decided this is the time I've made up my mind, I'm on my points. I've lost eight point eight pounds out of as of yesterday ten days in I've lost eight pounds. And I'm sure most of that is water weight because I finally drank some water because I don't really like the taste of water. I don't like vegetables. I don't like anything healthy. But I'm trying so eight pounds down. And I've only got about. Forty two to go. All right. Eight hundred six five five Mike we're talking a little bit about the this dichotomy of this contradiction from the Democrats, they they say they want border security, but they don't wanna wall as you heard a little beautiful seven year old girl died. Her family bringing her along on this dangerous journey. She was dehydrated. They apparently weren't providing her with water. They did not. Do their job as a parent. It certainly isn't President Trump's job to tell people. They shouldn't make this dangerous trek jeopardizing their child's life. In fact, I it's so funny to me that there's even a debate. There shouldn't be a debate. I mean, a reporter even on CNN over the weekend said that the father of the girl who died had nothing negative to say about US border patrol agents. Here's cut number nine. This is CNN reporter Ed lavon Dera sharing with the world. The fact that this was not a border patrol or American. Concoction or creation this the death of this man's little girl. The father has told he has no complaints about how border patrol agents treated him and his daughter, and that he believes everyone around them did everything.
