"Reason we talk about people still using condoms as if they have a variety of different partners, they don't WanNa, get a sexually transmitted infection and we don't have those indications yet but to your point right book intimacy now it into your about your product by the way which I love women, the sexual pleasure point is so important for both partners, right but women. Do have agile dryness. They really do have pain with intercourse and not just women who are Menopausal me. You know a lot of women young women do. So that's why I using these other products in combination with it is a really good idea. We'll talk about something else to again. This is like more skewing towards the males why I think it's also good for men is. Like morning married and we talk about eventually wanted to have another cabinet we will maybe we won't but we talk about it. So we have the option we don't you know using the right, but I think further down the line like say when you're done having children and then they lawrence get ready to have the sniff get ready to be cut if men can maybe potentially avoid such now. Just because I'm like psycho. Away, but I mean it there with popcorn and watch you get. But potentially fucking instagram stories. Let's take us other because he was. SNIP-. Let's say like we have a wife actually brick really loves her husband doesn't want. Me Straight mitigates potentially having to do that. It's wife wanted to use this and not put her husband through. The short answer like, yes, couldn't like it'd be like such a caring thing to do for your husband. Well. So I'll say my son's dad he did the snap and I said to him I said, listen you know we've agreed to just have one child so we don't want you to have to go back with one child was the agreement. So you have to do the snip we're not married anymore but yes, he did the snip. Yeah I think what I'll do is before my Second husband I'll just be like, okay it's time to get the snip and then move onto the second is I think it's smart for guys that have had kids if they go through divorce to get to bank the stuff and then get a snip because I'm going I'm sorry you're thinking anything you can just get the snap and not that I could just use the vaccine we don't..

"Not Everybody. Liked me. You know but they might have loved. Russ. They loved Kelly or whatever it. Maybe they were really clinical because some of these investors. Are have medical degrees you know so smart. So you appeal to each you ask character appeal to someone else's personality Yup and very smart and we would say like why talk of no one's GonNa listen you know what? I mean like you got to adapt your style to these audiences. So we always try to do as much research as you could get on these investors before we go in. And then we would do the pitch and believe me and sometimes it was brutal. It was brutal. I mean we had people say are you choking? There's fifty choices out there in birth control why the Hell did you take investor's money to come out with something that was a man that was a man Yup that was. We're not paying a very good picture ourselves. Why should a man be speaking about birth control? If the only thing he's doing is wearing a condom and he complains about that the whole time Kinda don't have a lot of room to talk or move plead the fifth and then some of them would get really it. But some of them would be the opposite like they'd really into I actually had one gentleman say to me I have three daughters and I have to tell you said just what you said. I do not want my daughter suffering. I don't want them on hormones that they don't even need and he said what you said he totally I don't even want them having sex. If they're GONNA have sex I don't want there to hand. You Imagine Sasa being on hormones for no I mean like I can't imagine you being on it. Now that I know you know what I'm saying like I don't want anybody that I care about on it if it. If. They want you to pay me and being really cool for the next nine years. Letters over nine years. So go on. Other tips that you have for raising capital? Yeah. Okay. So this might sound obvious to you guys because you're both very creative but ready for this..

"You think that experience like when you when you talk like maybe it's because you have a much greater appreciation for time now. Then, some of us that haven't experienced that close up call with death. Have right like one I imagined that your your fear of death is. Not as great as it was before because you've been faced with it before maybe I'm wrong. But also your appreciation for time because you've been faced with something like, Hey, this isn't just endless lot of us go through and like this is Never GonNa end and you don't think about death and if you're confronted with it like it makes it a little bit more like Oh shit like I could get some stuff done while I'm here well, and you've got to get stuff done while you're here and you gotTa make sure that the people that you really care. About no it and that you spend time with them like the fact that you guys do this show together like I'm being serious this is a genuine, not a brown nose comment. You love each other you have a baby you're doing this together you're creating access for all these people to tell their story. That's a pretty important footprint right for you to have on the planet you give people an opportunity to talk about what sometimes they've spent their whole lives working on when you get sick like before I would have come up here thrilled and excited to do it. Not Thought about who you were and what you're doing in the same way I now think about. Everybody else in what their motivations are and what they do and and it it. It has been such a different interesting experience well, and the other thing that you run out of time, and so I had a partner significant other. And I thought we were GONNA get married. And at the end of my treatment, he was like I just don't think that I get what I need out of this relationship and I'm not sure you do either. And I was one of those girls in the movie that didn't actually see that coming swam not joking I was like, are you breaking up with me? Is that what's actually happening right now like you're breaking up on me? And what was so crazy is that it was okay. It was like at that moment I was like you know what? He's right this is we were going through the motions and I thought you know what I don't WanNa. Live my next fifty years with a partner that doesn't think I'm awesome if he doesn't but it was really embiid before I would have been pissed and I would have been all those motions but yet that's what's interesting to. Like and also a partner that goes through all that with you and then right after that I mean thank you next. Yeah. Thank you next. you said something interesting. You said that before when you're driving up here, you would just you wouldn't think about what anyone else is doing. I think that that there's a really good lesson there. My friend, my pilates teacher always says, there's two kinds of people. There's someone that wakes up and looks out the window and then there's someone that looks up and looks in the mirror the window as you're looking out like what you can do and the Mir is like, what can I do for myself?.

"Amazing women and it makes you put on your big girl pants. Look I got a hell better than they do. And so that was good and sobering gives you a reality check I. also heard that you become a more powerful person when you are confronting death every single day I've been reading about a lot and it says that you should acknowledge your death even if you're not in the situation you're in but just to acknowledge it everyday is really really important. I love that. That's what does it Memento Mori is that what it is I don't I'm GonNa. Right but it's basically recognizing that you're going to die and it's like recognizing your death and they say, and this is a personal question asks you. But when you're in that moment and you didn't know how much time you had to you feel like it helped frame out your your days a bit more and helped you be a little bit more effective or do you feel like it's slowed like how do you feel? How, how do when you think back to that time? Like what did it do to your frame of mind? It definitely made me release some controls. It made me release a lot of control of my son. I let him be so much more independent. I, just stopped being a just I just released a lot a lot of some of my control. So for example, I had my chief commercial officer. He started going to all the presentations, doing all the investor deck doing it all I wasn't even there I started turning over things to people who by the way could really do it, which I should have been doing before I was almost my own worst enemy but then I also almost did like a and I haven't been in AA, but they say you have to go in like tell people. Ask for forgiveness. So I did that I wrote this long letter to my brother I have one sibling and just said all the things that I wish I had done differently and the things..

"They're GONNA look better they're going to feel better in everybody wins. Now you need to create a Gel that goes over a man's mouth when a woman's Postpartum for seven months. But the GEL on and just be quiet. He told me he's over this whole post-partum thing. In a moment of frustration. Yes. I know many get eaten alive. Now look at the my God. Over it. Seven months into the pregnancy I said, I'm over this whole pregnancy thing. I told you we're babies. Well. Listen. has been getting a little. I've had a hard time with postpartum you. Invent Postpartum I. Think we did a show that's a niche tell. Therapists basically went through couples therapy on on they're talking about it but I mean again it's another scenario where as a man you about there's a lot of female issues that we just never educated about like we don't know about postpartum. We don't know about birth control side if we don't know about any old, they make they separate girls and boys when they talk about sex ed like boys are never really educated. You know what? That's so true and I really do mean this that when men actually hear about it or they understand it. They behave different right if they're good men if they're good men, they love their wives, they love their daughter they behave different because we can expect I used to think, Oh, you should know how the hell would you know because here's what you think. A little pill. What's the big deal? One day? Baby like we don't nobody tells about there's there's so many things I mean I think that's the basis of everything especially I mean not to get political but everything that's going on the world if people understood a little bit more and and looked at it from a perspective outside of their own and understood like what someone's experienced could be I think we'd be in a better place they all comes down like education information and in a lot of ways it for the world for very long in the world for very long time we've just we've had limited information. Alsatians have been taboo. So walk us through when.

"So basically, our company was sold, it was bought by a bigger pharmaceutical company at that time. I was one of very few people offered a job and the reason I was offered a job is because I was leading profitable franchise I said. I WANNA stay in. Women's health. I've been in women's health my whole life. That's what I care about and they said we don't care about that. We just cared that you're a good business person and was this big Aha moment and I left. and. So I wrote a book called Saddle up your own white horse and it was about you don't WanNa find a partner. You don't WanNa ride in front of your partner behind your you want somebody to ride by your side, but it was really about encouraging women to step into leadership roles. And then in two thousand and nine, I started a nonprofit called women care global about providing sustainable contraception all over the world and the Susan B Thompson Buffet Organization was the first group that funded me and I knew going all over the world by the way that I needed an innovative product where where did the what are the journey take you all over the world mostly Africa. So most of my time was spent Africa trying to figure out how to give donations don't work even the poorest women don't want a poor women's product they would say to me, we don't want free product and it was really fascinating. So you're saying, it tends to be high quality product that you're giving. Correct can just be like the Hamdan correct to go, and that's what they felt. These donations were they were the expired drugs that pharmaceutical companies no longer wanted. They were the things that nobody in America would take and that's really what was happening. Once I heard about this product cave, this product, it used to be called Florida. It's now. Sexy. But once I heard about it, the company was being run by all men. The board was all men and they were running three different companies and no one really cared a lot about this division of the company because it was women's health and so when they met me, they were not successful. They were missing all milestone investors had come in there and Bester said that they were thinking about shutting them down. and. So the bottom line is they wanted me to come in at first because they thought a face of a woman. They didn't even know if I could walk and talk and Chew Gum at the same time. So when I stepped in I started changing everything. And the investor said to me, we'd like you to take the company public and I said on ordered to do that there's going to be a lot of things that have to change. I need to reconstitute the company to move out of this building I want to separate and make my own decisions and they said, yes, Great..

"Thing that I think is really hard as when I talked to women who have suffered from side effects instead of people pinpointing in saying maybe it's your contraception, put them on an antidepressant then they put them on a sleeping pill, and then they diagnosed all of these other issues that these women don't even have which makes their condition worse and then they're on three or four products. In fact, if they would have just changed their birth control, they would have been totally fine. That's what's to so crazy in. So now I just WanNa make sure that women. In, yes, I want everybody to use Vecsey. Of course, I do. But what I care about more is that if they're suffering that they really think about it could be your birth control don't go on five or six other things until you at least stop this in see if that's what's happening to you you know been there is no side effects from this. There's you said earlier like there's no hormones there's nothing that's chemical going to do anything it's not going to give you ut I. It's like all claim it's all clean and the ingredients by the way are. Now, it was designed originally by rush university and the three ingredients are electic acid, citric acid potassium by trae food, great food, great products, and I used to joke I could make it in my garage but they told me I wasn't allowed say that anymore. But as you see I didn't really listen it's so safe and so simple and so easy. But yes, it is food grade. Now, the other great thing to fear in the pharmaceutical world like I am you don't want anybody to come out with a knockoff. You don't want somebody to come out with a generic. So because hormones, there's no systemic activity in your body. So. Nobody can make an equal product they'd have to do so you have to have systemic activity so they can come out and make a generic have to show equivalents. So they won't be able to show equivalence because there's no systemic activity in your body. So that was another great thing for investors was announced and I have to.

"But that was the big thing in all the market research I have to tell you that women are so ready for something that they don't have to experience side effects. They really are and sure complaint. Yeah and with with Kovic, you have to think about this to telehealth and telemedicine getting stuff shipped right to their house. We have sexy DOT COM is already up and running everybody can learn anything they want. There's DR testimonials and patient testimonials women who are in our study and doctors who were in the study, and we actually did this study in one hundred and twelve offices across the United States. So we have a really big subset of patients who already love it if we. Had some patients get really pissed because once we stopped the study we had to wait we got approved and they're like, no, we need this. We need it now like we need this I think you're going to really love it by the way. So will you approved? It's FDA. So let me walk. Let me walk Okay. Someone through..

"I was on birth control for twenty years and then two years ago I had stage three breast cancer and I had no family history. I didn't have the gene and I had a clean mammogram the year before that's why it was. So shocking when I went in and I literally honest to goodness when they called me and told me my results said look I'm not gonNa tell anybody this is one of those times where you have. The wrong chart there's no way in hell that have stayed street breast cancer. I feel completely fine I don't even have any history I. I can't have cancer and they said that kind of denial is GonNa kill you and you need to have a mastectomy and you need to have it in the next three weeks, and then you need to have a hysterectomy have your uterus out and your ovaries Oh and you have to go through chemo. And it was so shocking and I used to have my whole life this very long Marcia, Brady hair that I really liked and obviously I lost all my hair. But yeah, I was a single mom and I thought to myself the first thing and I don't want to go down this rabbit hole but I was so worried that I was GONNA lose my job. I was worried that my board was going to say look you can't we can't in good faith you've got you know he'll tree. I leave offender. So this was in July of two thousand eighteen. Yes. So two years ago. Yeah, and I was an all my thoughts was I want to keep my company and I have to tell you this I really mean this look I. Think there's some amazing great men out there but no man would have dragged this company through hell like it's been through no man would have done. I was so passionate about getting this product to market believe me I, would I have no objectively right. I drink the KOOL aid for this company and I didn't want to be replaced and I was so worried that I'd be replaced and I was worried about my son. But the one interesting thing is that any woman who's had any kind of cancer can't use any any birth control with hormones you can't and ever again by the way in any woman who has any kind of other issues and concomitant diseases you you can't use hormones..

"It's in your arm I'd rather die I'd rather. Have, not have sex it sits in your arm implant I know, and by the way you can't take it out when you went to. Let's say you are suffering from side effects you can only take it out when a provider takes it out. So you have to go into the office and have a procedure to have the U D taken out of your vagina or the implants taken out of your arm, and it leaves scarring in your arm and so the whole idea by. The way to that one staggering thing is that in the United States right now they're seventeen million women who are currently having sex and they are not using any form of hormonal contraception because they've said, our risk of getting pregnant is less concerning than how much we have suffered from side effects from from birth control. That's what we're doing like the pull out method or a condom right now. Yep. Not to get like really specific but that's what we're GonNa much more specific and. They could be in the room with us. But but. Just to be blunt, that's what I've decided. I don't WanNa. Go back on birth control and gain. Twenty if we decided, we want to have another child which think like is probably in our future. God. Willing. We wanted to do that. I don't want her going back on birth control right now in dealing with all that and then getting off and going through that whole process. So like we've been mitigated down to dot those methods complain every time you have to wear bearskin. So now you don't have to complain. Christmas it is I know see you're welcome. No, we're really excited about it. We're excited for both partners you look intimacy and you got to think about two in the time of covert right people are connecting in more in a much bigger and more intimate way, and so we're excited to be able to look when women by the way you know when women suffer..

"X. X. I. in the reason it's called Vecsey is that the product it helps a woman keep her natural vaginal Ph so sexy Ph, and then the double x chromosome for woman also rams with sexy. So what could be bad about that? But what so awesome about it is that this product has no hormones. So right now in the United States don't WanNA use hormones if you've suffered from weight gain or bleeding or headaches or acne, or you just don't feel like yourself, you still are expected to take a hormone. Every week year after year after birth control. Yes. Birth Control. So women take. Ten Fifteen, twenty years and they'll switch four or five times because they suffer and they say I've got gotta try something else. I don't feel like myself. But the biggest trick that's played on women in my opinion is that actually when you take birth control with hormones, typically it lowers your libido. So you're taking this so that you can have sex and then you no longer WanNa have sex because these hormones are messing with your system and you're suffering. So sexy is the only product that has no hormones, no systemic side effects and women only it when they need it. So literally put it in right before sex or up to an hour before is what the label will tell. You and it looks like a Tampon just to be really visual look at a Tampon. It's a GEL. Yes it's a GEL inside a Tampon. It's this. It's a very simple little applicator and there's five milliliters in it and you literally take off the cap you insert it throw away the applicator and the GEL is viscous. So it's thicker. So it doesn't leak out women who have vaginal dryness or pain with intercourse they really really love this, and so we're really excited to your point about men Lauren yet think about this women don't win the condom negotiation because men don't want to wear condoms they just don't and see why don't want to carry a fucking baby for nine months. Where condom like such babies Oh my God put. This you don't have to wear condom yet in faulk no condom. Yep bare naked. Have all the sexy want into. All you have to do is implement Gel into your FA- China before sack that's it. That is in before sex because what if you're? Up to up to an hour. For. So you got you don't have to plan it out, but you do it right before. Literally right before you can do it as part of your intimacy you could. Afford. Like literally. Go okay. So if you're like hot and heavy and you just want to have sex right then and just put it in. Yes. Honest to God and it takes a second like you and I could put it in right now keep talking and what are the chances that you get pregnant. So so right now it is. So if you look the, it's basically ninety three percent efficacy, but ninety three percent efficacy. The biggest reason for failure is that women did not reapply it with a second act of sex. So just like a condom every time you have sex, you have to put it in. So if you have sex at eight o'clock or nine o'clock, and then you have at four hours later, you've got to put a Gel back in but the benefit is that you're not going to suffer from side effects. But yes, it is an on demand product. But the other thing I have to say because you brought it up, is we also now right now it's just GonNa be for contraception you will not get pregnant you won't suffer from hormone side effects..
