"Know my whole attitude from day one lucky enough to be on the radio is you never know who's listening. We have these conversations. I love brought sushi and the guy one of the main guys. The company listens to our show. It feels good, exciting. Someone reached on the text line is the guy who wrote that movie. Ah, Quiet place, right, Those those those right off the writer say the forget their names, but they have reached And I didn't realize they were that you were like, that's cool. But then the RAF sushi lights up like it's no big deal she plays much quietly does all right, So there's like 30 fires burning in California right now, so I just want to get a few details on what's going on Northern California. Obviously, there's a lot of bad news. A lot of evacuations Nappa, San Noma, Contra Costa, San Matteo and Alameda counties all have evacuations right now north of Tahoe as well and then here in Southern California. There was the lake Fire, which was north of Santa Clarita. The holster fire which west of Santa Clarita and I believe those air contained, But 21,000 acres gone there. You'll probably be seeing smoke for a while. One thing I was Not clear on you need a different mask for smoke and fire than the ones that were wearing for Corona virus. So which one do you go to? Or do you need to create like a hybrid mask? I I don't know The answer to that. Why not? Because I'm not a professional. And I all oftentimes forget the actual medicine system. Yeah, I'mjust curious. I still got the fire masks from last year, so maybe I could break those out. Harry Styles and Brad Pitt are trending this morning because any time either of them do anything straight women and gay men collectively asked them sigh love those two and I'm Neither of those Brad Pitt is the hunkiest most charming guy, Harry styles. I cannot name one song from him, but I watched him in an interview. He was very lovely. I would say that Harry styles transcends. It's It's one of those like Ruby Rose types for men and women are like, okay, I can get down with that couldn't pick that guy out of a lineup of 1000 people. A lot of one couldn't pick him out of a life of two people. They well. He and Brad Pitt or doing a movie together. It's called faster, cheaper, better. And the movie apparently deals with the great and inevitable changes that are coming to the trucking industry. So I'm kind of hoping for, like a lot lizards with Brad like a gay version on Daz. We've mentioned on the show before. You know, when your business is failing in 2020. You gotta pivot, right? You've got to get creative to survive, and one business owner. Is doing gangbusters right now because he has created the Corona virus pinata otherwise known as the Corona Yata. Good idea flying off the shelves. You know the image of that, like little grey ball with the red things out of it. He just started making those and he owns. He already owns a pinata store. It's called Cassidy Pinata Surprisingly, and they weren't doing that. Well, because I guess you know, bashing and unicorns wasn't really something people wanted to do. And no one was having parties, Teo, But then he created the Corona virus. Pignon problem solved. So sorry not solved, because the first thing that happens when everything spills out of it is everyone. Breaks down social distancing and jumps on top of each other and wrestles for little Charles and chew. And that is where s O. He's in some ways he is Maybe part of the problem Or so then the solution. Yeah, but then it circled back around and you sell even more Corona virus pinatas. So, uh, I'm Allie, and that's your 80 Dennis. Striker.

"Com come into you again with another companion podcast of this time is for one of the baseball wines we went to Wrigley Field as he a game because to lotto is <hes> adding wine to the <hes> to the selection not only can you get a budweiser but you can now get wine and this is the federalist Mendocino County Chardonnay 2017 which is one little baseball winding. Get there and you can get it any place else. You don't need to watch baseball game at drink this wine and we're going to say today. What are you going to say about Chardonnay that hasn't been said a thousand times before but will will? Probably has a thousand times before but we'll say it all over again. <hes> let's see Mendocino County. We're GONNA talk a little bit about Mendocino. County and Mendocino County is just north of San Noma and when you think of wines or the average wine drinker thanks wines from northern California you think of cinema you'd think of Napa maybe Kandara us which is half sonoma's half Napa. Oh you don't always think about Mendocino and it has all the great great advantages oranges that Saddam has it's got the it's due north. It's on the coast. It's got a coastal region. Just like Sonoma coast has it has the Russian river has other valleys in there that mirror <hes> Sonoma's gats great groin an area has got some great wineries grape vineyards but you don't think Oh Mendocino ran away. It's kind of it's under the radar to a certain extent and part of that reason is I think is for a long time Mendocino. It was the outlaw marijuana growing region of California on now. It's been legal for a while and I don't know that changes things but <hes> it seems that in a lot of places the <hes> grapevines in. Marijuana plants kind of like the same areas in locations so <hes> and men marijuana makes a lot of money and it's a lot easier to grow lawns. You don't get caught back the elders <hes> then <hes> wind. Does you know the joke talk. About why and how do you make a million dollars. In the wine. Industry started out with ten million you don two million before it's too long and and that's kind of I think that's kind of the reason why you don't think of Mendocino in the same reason or the same <hes> frame you think of Cinema Napa even though you probably should it's a great growing region and then that brings us to the federalist <hes> Chardonnay in this is kind of a new shout out to old school. Oh Big owed chardonnays of <hes> cinema and Napa without actually going over the top like some of those did way back in the day this one has <hes> ask has a thirty five percent new French which for <hes> you know fairly inexpensive <hes> Chardonnay as a lot of a lot of OCA- the use Hungarian <hes> American little French Oak. <hes> Hungarian and French the same species of they're just couple hundred miles apart two different countries Hungarian oak tend to be a little bit cheaper but brings the same flavors to the table that French oak does American American oak is you're more likely to see that in aging bourbons and that type of thing but you do see it in a wine. It's a different species altogether of Oak than the French Algerian. It's got a wider grain rain. You have to be a little careful with the wider grand can impart more oaks a lot of times where you see a wine with a shorter oak aging period US American oak because in the shorter time since it gives off more more it gives the impression that's been an oak longer and it's one of the reasons they use it because it gives off a sweet vanilla flavor which is very nice and a lot of things <hes> the the French and Hungarian oak has to be a little spicier so gives that extra little flavor that Americans really like. I don't know if it's this is the kind of wine it's going to sell big and France where they don't really go for that kind of thing but works here so I'm GonNa take a SIP. Because like I said this is kind of shoutout to the old school chardonnays it's going to have oak flavoring oak influence but not over the top here we go yeah it does it's got actually got the spice from the Hungarian oak in the French scout that Richmond Noah and under what Mao Lactic fermentation which switches the tart acids naturally occur in the grapes into more rounded acid and underwent at on lease from on leaves when the yeast from the fermentation is left in <hes> in the tanks with barrels and when you stir it it makes the more you stir it. It gives the wine a creamy sensation so when you're using oak I mean <hes> use the Mao lactic which changes gets rid of some of the darkness and get surrounded flavors. You get those stir you get creamy and then you get okay and get this vanilla. You get some nice flavors in this thing and you do get some nice flavors. They one more SIP before I come to final conclusion. A good it's a good Chardonnay here. We go one more time yeah. It's got a lot of flavor got full flavor. You know the Saturday kind of goes back and forth is usually a fad where you get almost no oak and then you get too much openness. One is maybe on the the middle somewhere but on the side of the middle and the oak just adds flavor. I mean it's not too much. You're not you're not doesn't give you dry mouth from the all the chemicals and the oak it just gives you a nice flavor. You get the spice you'd get the Vanilla you get the creaming us from the annelies you get the rounded fruit route from the mall lactic and everything they did to it. Kinda comes out in a good way and that's not too bad. This is the wine I think is going to. You'RE GONNA find it around fifteen though on the Internet I've seen it for just above ten so it's not anex super expensive wine but they seem to have done a lot of production techniques to it and so it's a wine that they threw the bells and whistles at and that's it for me so keep it cheap..

"It's twenty minutes after eight o'clock inching closer and closer to being able to celebrate the fourth of july celebrations going on tonight of course and also included in tomorrow's celebrations or is the fourth of july event in the city of san noma jason campbell is here he's the festival of coordinator good morning jason good morning pat how are you i am well looking forward to tonight and tomorrow celebrations great reasons for people not to use personal fireworks by the way and cinema really does it proud i mean this anoma fireworks celebration something that a lot of people really look forward to every year it's an amazing day for us for our department of big commitment but when you see the fireworks show which seems to get better and better every year well we're the commitment that department puts into it well one of the things that so surprising i guess about this anoma fireworks celebration is how long it is i mean it goes on for a while it does show usually lost over thirty minutes your looks like we have over twenty six hundred fireworks they're going to be going off very nice very nice great show every year we get compliments that this show is better than the last and it's the greatest show so hopefully we can continue that trend of this year and there was some concern about whether sonoma's would put on a fourth of july fireworks show this year wasn't there there has been a little bit of talk from our department standpoint we were ready to go from the beginning and we've we've been committed to and we're excited to do it and i think it will we'll go great and it doesn't start at dusk of course in sonoma's talk about the festivities beginning at ten o'clock in the morning tomorrow at the plaza absolutely so ten o'clock tomorrow morning we have our parade this is the second year that arsenal volunteer firefighters association has produced the parade and festival following ten am is the parade that goes around cinema plaza we have a multitude of floats community members that are involved with the parade that's put on by our volunteer sociation following the pray there'll be festivities in that saddam oposite amphitheater the flow winners will be announced at that time and then we starting at noon we begin the festivities the celebration which includes live music we've got three bands set out tomorrow the mighty creatures of habit will start at twelve thirty i love that driven band at two pm and then the last band will be the illegitimate acdc band at three thirty and while that's going on of course we've got a variety of food trucks and beverages beer and wine brought to you by arsenal firefighters association yeah great fundraiser they're great this is a whole kids zone we wanted my kitties and games for the kids so on the north side of some positive we're going to have a whole kids with a bunch of different games that they can play to get get the kids involved you is there anything different this year jason on the fourth of july celebration in sonoma's because of what happened to us in october so we believe that the with the communities support and involvement i mean the fire was obviously impacted everybody in the county tire community was in some way impacted and the response that we got was just on precedent the strengthen support from the community from the beginning from the onset of the fires all the way through never faltered and i think with that being said we believe this festival is going to be really strong and we're we're happy to present a great degree festival and have everybody have a good time and let's say that there's someone listening who has never been to the sonoma's fireworks celebration on the fourth how where do you where do they go and how do they get there so green the morning for the prey there's a lot of road closures just because we want to the to get around the plaza and everything but that that'll open up throughout the anywhere if they're able to get someone in vallejo's home off the bike path is great viewing there's a lot of open for perhaps john john did a great show near very good at it all takes place tomorrow in the city of sonoma's it's a great a great celebration if you wanna take your family and really see a surprisingly great and really long fireworks celebration tomorrow night and jason is a member of.
