"San mateo. Welcome to judaism unbounded so great to have you. Thank you very much in this book. You talk a lot about what you call the original bible. Could you tell us a little bit about what that original bible is what you mean by when it when it was written. What is this original bible that you're finding within the bible as we know it what i mean by that is that it's missing the first story from the logically that was written down and then every subsequent story was built upon it So that's what i mean by. The original wide will probably more accurately the original original torah. Tell us a little more about what that means to sort of. Open up a version of the bible that we have which is to say. I don't know the unoriginal early like another version. And what is that like archaeology task. Like where you're sort of a us. Rq because it seems like digging. It's like you're you're looking through layers and the second question who cares. They're a great sentence or two in your book. So one person wrote the bible or twenty five people wrote the bible like so what we have a thing like. What is it. What are the ramifications if multiple people wrote this or if there was an original source or not. I liked the comparison an archaeology. You know it's a productive one. Because i 'cause the way i look at the at the toronto especially is that it's like sediment that cruise i think of layers as opposed to sources posted documents And there's one basic story and then every subsequent author added their own layer

Hack of video security company Verkada exposes footage from 150,000 connected cameras

"First up. Packers say they breached over cada accessing the feeds of one hundred and fifty thousand surveillance cameras inside clinics police precincts jails schools even cloudflare's offices and tesla facilities. The hackers say they also have access to the full video archive of all cada customers. Today i learned that verekauta is a startup that sell security cameras that customers can access from the web in its last funding round. It raised eighty million dollars at one point. Six billion dollar valuation quoting bloomberg. The data breach was carried out by an international hacker collective an intended to show the pervasiveness of video surveillance and the ease with which systems could be broken into said tilly cottman one of the hackers who claimed credit for breaching the san mateo california-based ver- cada cottman who uses they and then pronouns previously claimed credit for hacking chipmaker intel and carmaker nissan cottman said their reasons for hacking our lots of curiosity fighting for freedom of information and against intellectual property a huge dose of anti-capitalism and a hint of anarchism. And it's also just too much fun not to do it and quote cottman said. Their group was able to obtain root access on the cameras. Meaning they could use the cameras to execute their own code that access could in some instances allow them to pivot and obtain to the broader corporate network of ver- catis customers or hijack the cameras and use them as a platform to launch future attacks obtaining this degree of access to the cameras didn't require any additional hacking as it was built in feature cottman said. The hackers methods were unsophisticated. They gained access to through a super admin assistant allowing them to peer into the cameras of all of its customers. Cohen said they found a username and password. For an administrator account publicly exposed on the internet after bloomberg contacted ricotta. The hackers lost access to the video feeds archives. Cottman said the hack quote exposes. Just how broadly we're being surveilled and how little care is put into at least securing platforms used to do so pursuing nothing but profit cottman said. It's just wild. How can just see the things we always knew are happening but never got to see quote cottman said. They gained access to data system on monday morning and quote

We to feature the voices of the renaissance entrepreneurship center. Who's thirty year. Mission is to bride intensive entrepreneurship training networking and mentorship to support the launch and growth of women owned businesses through their. Thanks for being here. Sharon and tim thank you. Thank you for having us. I'd like to start because once again renaissance entrepreneurship centers one of those really wonderful services for small businesses and entrepreneurs and anyone who has an idea of starting businesses in the san francisco bay area. That a lot of people just don't know about so i would love to start with having each of you provide the audience aetna the renaissance entrepreneurship center. It's programs both in san francisco in the east bay. Which will have sharon you provide. And then tim have you provided the mid peninsula and south bay. So sharon great. So renaissance is completely dedicated to entrepreneurship. And our focus is helping to provide access to people who don't have traditional access to training resources a network. So that's where we come in. People come to us with great ideas a ton of passion and then we provide training access to capital access to markets and access to networks so that training that we do really focuses on intensive classes. That take people from the idea feasibility. Stage into the business planning stage and further to the gross state so we're helping people to perceive themselves as entrepreneurs understand what it takes to be an entrepreneur. Start that business. And once they have it grow the business. So you asked about san francisco and the e spe. We do work with people at all levels of business in both locations in san francisco we are the san francisco. Us sba women's business center so we add further services for women. There anyone out san francisco or the bay area could come and take our classes. We also have a center in bayview hunters wait that focuses on that community and in oakland we are working with businesses in oakland richmond and east contra costa county thank you. I was great and tim. How does renaissance center support entrepreneurs in san mateo and santa clara county. Just basically the piggy back off. What sharon said. We are an organization that is regional and the south bay and then the serving the san mateo county and santa clara county and small businesses and entrepreneurs. We really are coming alongside of those entrepreneurs and small business owners and helping them turn their passion the prophet in. I think that's what we really strive for is giving them the tools they need because we already know that they're gifted they're gifted at what they do but they need to support the technical assistance to be able to really be sustainable so we really are working with those communities. Churn says that are under served under represented by coming in and giving them the tools so that they can watch and grow their business and again like i said earlier turn their passion to profit

One Medical's Coronavirus Vaccine Practices Spark Congressional Investigation

"Are investigating a major healthcare provider that led people jumped the line to get covid nineteen vaccines. They're following up on an npr investigation of one medical documents. Show that company administered vaccines to ineligible patients. Some of whom had connections with company leadership. Npr investigative correspondent. Tim mack joins us now. Tim good morning. Good morning what lawmakers want to know. So basically this is a subcommittee. That's led by congressman. Jim clyburn this is the house. Select subcommittee on the coronavirus crisis. And what they're really looking for is evidence that the company intentionally distributed vaccines to ineligible patients across multiple states which is incidentally one of the conclusions. Npr investigation published about a week ago. One of the committee's concerns is that there should be an equitable distribution of vaccines one that prioritizes those most at risk in society rather than the wealthy or well-connected and so the committee is giving one medical two weeks to provide documents about their vaccination practices. One medical of course is a primary healthcare provider that is publicly traded and valued in the billions of dollars. It's business model is to provide tech driven primary health care for members who usually pay about the two hundred dollars a year in. Okay so you you pay this fee. You can go to the doctor when you need a checkup or whatever they were also helping to get vaccines out there. But now here they are giving the vaccines to the wrong people. What does that mean for. Local health departments that were using one medical as a distribution source our distribution channel right so we reached out to every local jurisdiction where one medical best business. We found that eat. Local jurisdictions have cut the company off from vaccine. Allocations are not planning to work with them again in the future. For example san francisco county made the unusual move of not only halting apply vaccine so the company but also demanding one thousand six hundred and twenty doses back in san mateo county said it had done an investigation and found at one medical had vaccinated seventy individuals who are eligible to be vaccinated at that time it to stopped the allocation vaccines to the company. So those are just a couple of examples.

Addressing the Digital Gap During the Pandemic

"Either this is alan shark and welcome to another episode of shark bites. This is the first episode in the year. Twenty twenty one so hopefully you had a happy new year and looking forward to a much better year than perhaps we had last year. As you know the podcast delves into europe. Cio's and other tech leaders throughout local government to some extent state government and today. We are very fortunate. Have john walton. John is a chief information officer of the county of san mateo california. I've known him for over a decade and he is getting all these awards and whatnot and it seemed like this is an appropriate time to really have a chat into sheer the discussion with you. John brings over twenty five years of experience in the fields of information. Technology has a diverse background in both public and private sectors sending innovative technology standards providing visionary leadership for numerous organizations each receive tons of awards and most recently state tech recognized him as one of the thirty people to watch in the year. Twenty twenty twenty-eight came out towards the year so hopefully it'll make the list again in twenty twenty one but he sent a lot of things that hopefully we'll get into that for example. I believe he'd been on school board. You have been a race car driver so you have a lot of interest so john. Welcome thank you on. It's great to be here. I really enjoy having the opportunity to talk with you. Ve enjoyed our friendship and partnership over the years and really excited for twenty twenty one. Yeah it's got to be better than last year. Such such an anomaly. Such a different year. It can only get better so john. I always ask when we begin these discussions. I always believe that. Very few of us wake up in high school or even college and say when i grow up and when i go into the adult workforce i want to be a chief information officer so i'm always curious to know. How did you get to where you are. You've had a really great career and is far from over so if you would you've had an interesting journey so let's spend a couple of minutes talking about. How did you get to the county san mateo allen. Yeah that's That's a great question and probably the most complex question. You're going to ask me today. So i will. I will try to keep it to a couple of minutes. It was a long winding road to end up. Were ended up i. I grew up in. A family of there was a military family. My dad was missile defense and so we moved a lot as you can imagine and my dad used to like to say we lived in places where people didn't care where he blew things up so those rather rural and isolated and i wasn't into computers at all matter of fact i'm of an age where computers were still a relatively new thing so my exposure to computers were really through. My dad was a bit of what we call order now. Every time they would demo out a test site he He felt terrible about all the expensive computer equipment that was getting thrown away. Pdp lebanon's and things like that so he would haul them home in his pickup truck. And i grew up with garage. Full of old mainframe computers wang's ibm's and so those were my toys. My friends growing up but to be honest they didn't really interest me I really love nature and so When i teach classes at san francisco state and things like that mba students. I always tell them to become a cio. The first thing you do is you go to humboldt state university and get a degree in natural resource science. because that's where every good cio starts with a degree in natural resources. And and that's really how i got started i. I really wanted to be a researcher. A scientist i wanted to study nature and the environment and at that time The college was implementing backs computer systems. That was a new thing and it turned out that i wasn't really great at school. I i guess you would probably call it. Add now. but i don't do well sitting in classes listening but turns out a really good at setting up. Faxes for all the computer. Labs all the professors would give me extra credit to make up for my poor test scores by going in and configuring all the computers in the labs and so that would really help. My career started i. I did get a bachelor's degree in science. I enjoyed that but immediately after college. I started setting up. Computer systems. for counties and cities and private industry and it just went from there and in those days. It was really what you did. You just sort of went from project to project and it was word of mouth and if you knew anything about computers that kind of puts you a leg up on the competition so while up here i am now i must cio the great county here in california You know appreciative of all the recognition. Our county gets think it's really a reflection to the hard work. The staff here does and the leadership of the county the supervisors in the city manager. I think i am probably the best easiest. Cio job in california. They they make things very easy for me. I met one of your deputies at a recent meeting in there. You do have a very talented staff so tell us. I did read somewhere about this racing car thing so tell me a little bit about that. Well yes so. That's like. I said the the technology thing wasn't really a passion of mind when i was young and my dad is a hobby was an amateur stockcar razor so i grew up around tracks and engineers. It turns out you know. He was an engineer. Engineers love to build things and so he looked to build cars and fix cars so i grew up working on cars and building cars and race cars and have always been around those. And so that's always been my hobby. As a matter of fact the mechanic paid my way through college. Because i had an aptitude for that. And it's really just built from there. I think from my childhood you know as a as an executive technology really. I spend most of my time. Unfortunately you know in meetings in office buildings working on spreadsheets. Power plants you know. It's not as glamorous as probably some people think it is to be a cio for me at least and kind of tactile this rule I built my own race cars. I tune them my drive them on the track. It's really release for me. And all the things i do probably things. It helps me too many of us in this world. Nowadays we all try to multitask too much when meetings and checking email and texting. And i will say if you ever need to focus. There's nothing like being racetrack. One hundred thirty miles an hour going into a turn to cause you to focus and not worry about. Who's texting you calling you on the phone. So i still love it. I've sold most of my cars now. I have to left. And i still do it when i have the time. But it's it's less and less these days. Covert has kept us very busy. And i have two young sons that i try to spend as much time with is like can so until they get interested in racing than i probably won't spend as much time at the track is i have in the past

"Show. I'm joined today by ace spiel. If you've ever seen the pictures or the videos of a seven forty seven carrying the space shuttle on its back aces the guy flying that he's a nasa pilot. It's really cool having you with us today as thank you so much for being with us. Thank you george. It's a real pleasure being here. Thanks for having me. You're willing to tell us how you got your start in aviation well. My interest probably probably started with my dad who is a world war two pilots who have six hell cats in the pacific right. He was a fighter. Ace jot down. Seven zero sank destroyer so that that probably would what's first introduced me aviation muscle lived in the san francisco bay area and i can always. We could see quite often from where we live going up. Point the final approach for san francisco international airport. So i've really enjoyed watching the airplanes. Come in and that just kind of got me interested in aviation basically so i assume that with your dad as an ace after the war where people were there a lot of adulation or was it kind of a a normal thing to be ace. Well i don't think it was a normal thing. I think a lot of people were proud of it for that but but as time went on it became something more within the family that you know we we. We knew he was guy we thought of him as kind of a hero in his flying endeavors and listening to stories was a lot of fine. You know sure so. Wendy take your first flying lesson first. Flying lesson in nineteen sixty. Seven is my first year in college. I graduated from high school. And i was interested in the asian so i wasn't sure you know exactly what i was going to study. The only college in california that offered a four year degree in in Aviation was san jose state but that was in business administration the the college of san mateo community college. They had a two year. Course that specialized the end basic training to be a pilot studied aerodynamics amex navigation in urology and stuff in in in one of the three hundred courses was actually forty hours of flying a cessna down to san carlos airport so i thought this is the perfect way to get going and so i enrolled in that program guy solo to november of nineteen sixty seven eighteen. Okay now did you. Did you collect ratings right away. After that i got my private and the course led to a commercial a rating but after about the first three semesters i kinda realizing that. This is really what i want to do. My goal is to become an airline pilot. And i knew it'd be an airline pilot. That i was gonna actually need my adp. And soft. and i was going to need to accumulate. You know quite a bit of experience. So i kind of decided you know. I'm not going to spend any more money trying to get my commercial because right now. Let's talk to serve me. 'cause i plan on getting a bachelor's degree us like to go into the military base. Oh okay so where did you go to get your bachelor's. I ended up at san francisco state university. I got my bachelors in mathematics. And then you went there were you in. Rotc not was it. Ninety day wonder and ots officer training school. At lackland in san antonio. So i i graduated from college. In june of seventy two and two weeks later. I went out to san antonio and started into your ot s for a for ninety days and they were gonna pound with training. Poetry was up. Advance up in enid. Oklahoma and i enjoy them quite a bit. It was the i found all came fairly naturally and easy the advantage of already abbot close to two hundred hours of flying time so i knew all the basics basically so it was you know i. I really have good pilots right. I felt for the guys really haven't or part wasn't that tough

Africa and museums: shaping the future; rethinking the past

"I just on your lawson. The founding director of the paloma in togo and andrew santo. Who's just written a book with twenty eight interviews with museum leaders across the world. I also speak to. Dan hicks about his book. The british museum's about the bronzes and for our work the week christopher repeal of the national gallery in london talks about san mateo painting of copernicus. That's coming to the national for an exhibition next year before that a reminder that you can sign up for the art newspapers free daily newsletter for all the latest stories goes to the art newspaper dot com and the link is at the top right of the page. And while you're there you can also sign up for a range of other newsletters including the book club and the art market. I now a new book by the writer and cultural strategy advisor andhra santo features twenty eight conversations with directors of museums and other institutions oldham during the covid nineteen pandemic the future of the museum. Twenty eight dialogues. Include voices from across the world attempting to define museums and the challenges and opportunities ahead of them now and in the coming days among them. Direct is of african museums including sonia lawson the director of the paladin loma in togo in west africa. Andress and sonia join me to discuss the role of museums today and look at how sonya's togalese institution reflects a new coq drew dynamism on the african continent andress. I wanted to begin by asking you. This book was written on zoom. Just as we are now essentially so you talked to twenty eight museum or cultural institution directors about what they were doing. It happened to be done in the covy deer as it were but was it. Germinating is an idea for a much longer period this spring. I wrote an article in art. Net news actually wrote it over easter weekend. So i remember did very well I guess that was early april. I can't remember the exact dates and it was an article about reopening museums. And it just hit a nerve. It really got a lot of people talking at the time. And i heard from dozens and dozens of museum directors and just became part of illogic conversation. And that's when we really realized that this is the moment because it gave us an editorial frame because it it really was a moment that made us ask what is the future about. Still trying to figure it out. I think there's no doubt in all of our minds that this is one of those years in the calendar that will be a turning point. A historical marker where new phase is beginning persona. I think this phase is the one that started in one thousand nine hundred eighty nine just ended. Now we have a new face. So what does that mean for museums. Once i figured out that this would be a book not just of conversations with museum. Directors conversations about the future not necessarily revisiting. Why museums have been great in the past of which many reasons to talk about that too but to really have a forward-looking and that is what led to choices like this extraordinary new institution in togo. Which i think is such a taste of where museums or cultural institutions or cultural centers are headed All around the world so so in a way this moment. This covert moment crystallized. How such a book could come about and how we would choose directors to be in it before we speak specifically about sons institution. I wanted to ask you about a phrase that you use in the to the book where you talk about how. The paradigm smashing experimentation in museums and cultural institutions is happening in effectively in the global south so in africa in asia in latin america. Can you expand on that a bit now. Because what do you think lies behind that. Well first of all i. That's not to say it's not happening elsewhere. And i think the book provides lots of examples of how people are thinking you in original ways about museums all around the world. But i think that there are perhaps two main reasons. Why so many of these truly interesting. And i would say inspiring. Examples of new practices are often happening in the global. South one is that many of these institutions are brand new. So it's you can speak to this. They have an opportunity to really design for the now and for the future. They're not dealing with a legacy infrastructure. They're not trying to retrofit something. That was already there and tried to adapt it to the future.

Proposition 25: Cash Bail

"Political correspondent Marissa Lagos is covering prop twenty five for cake. And she's also the CO host of the podcast political breakdown. Welcome Russa Pale, Libya. I. Can you take us through how the cash bail bond system works in California now? Yes. To do this I am going to make you an accused Felon Olivia Allen Price Right. So you're walking down the street in San Mateo County. You, get arrested on suspicion of possession for sale of a controlled substance. This wouldn't be like you have a little wheat in your bag. This would be like maybe you got a bunch hair win or they think you do. The bill for that is going to be set at twenty five thousand dollars just by the schedule that exists in San Mateo County. So the officers would arrest you and either you would have to over twenty five grand to the county to secure release or possibly depending on how big of a drug dealer they think you are. They might make before a judge who could either lower or increase that twenty five thousand. Dollars say you don't have twenty five grand laying around I mean really who does right? You would then decide whether you're going to stay in jail until you can get a trial set or you might call a bail bonds agency and what they would do is essentially guarantee the county that they would pay that twenty five grand if you skipped out on your case. So if you didn't come back for your trial dates. In exchange for that, you would have to pay them ten percent of that amount. So twenty five, hundred dollars. If you have the twenty five grand to post your own bail, you would get that money back regardless of whether you got convicted of the crime or the charges got dropped or you. Were found to be innocent. You would just get that money the just there to make sure you show up at trial. However, if you didn't have that kind of cashing around and you had to go through a bail bond agent that twenty, five, hundred dollars that you gave them to secure your bond, you would forfeit, you would never get that money back. The whole cash bail system has been under fire for a long time for being inequitable give us an example of how that inequity plays out. Look people who have been accused of very violent crimes up to murder can sometimes post bail if they have the means but a lot of people end up languishing behind bars for really minor crimes because they just don't have the money their families don't have the money and disproportionately study after study shows these tend be black and Brown people. If you can't pay that bail amount. You can't go to work. You might lose custody of your kid by losing your work. You might not be able to pay your rent. So what critics of the system say is that it kind of perpetuates the cycle of poverty. And potentially leads more people into crime or can lead people to plead guilty to things that they did not do or that they might have a good chance of fighting because they essentially just WanNa get out of jail and get back to their lives.

So it's kind of like. If I ended up calling you that just Outta love okay know Hosa. Your book is Super Raw. It's super honest. It's very unfiltered because I mean, how other can you write a memoir that deals with the history of Salvador Yeah Your own family's history and the complicated. Longstanding difficult relationship between the United States and in Salvador. You write a lot about your struggles, the Traumas, the violence things that you've witnessed firsthand or that you realize we're passed down to you from previous generations handing down trauma. So you talk about the rise of gangs in both Asadabad Order obviously the gang started on the streets of Los, Angeles? Child refugees, mass migration, the role of the United States in all of this and this really intimate look into Central America that. Los Angeles - Newsom Announces Statewide Face Mask Mandate

"Became aware that there were public health officials who had a meeting with that governor Newsom recently and they they said said that that a a state state wide wide mass mass border border was was under under consideration consideration by by the the governor's governor's office office that that they they were were told told that that unequivocally unequivocally there there were were a a lot lot of of people people of of the the complained complained that that every every county county considers considers wearing wearing masks masks differently differently and and you you know know what what let let me me just just kind kind of of go go through through this this because because it's it's all all going going to to change change now now since the governor has indeed issued that order it's no longer something he's contemplating he has done it he has issued a statewide order that people have to wear a mask that I need to get a copy of what the order is and we'll see if we can that come up with that pretty quickly so that we can find out exactly what that means and where and when people are required to wear mascot where masks in the state of California but the way that it has been here in the bay area almost all counties have required masks San Francisco county Marin county Alameda San Mateo Contra Costa and sin noma all require masks San Francisco's order requires people to wear masks when writing transit working at essential businesses grocery shopping and other activities where they will be near other people in Santa Clara county they only recommended that people wear masks Los Angeles and San Diego counties which are the state's largest I didn't realize San Diego is the second largest county in the state they both require people to wear masks in public riverside and San Bernardino counties created mask requirements but then they walked away from them in Orange County they were mandating masks but then the public health officer down there doctor Nicole quick received threats for issuing that order she quit as a result of the threats that were coming in and then Orange County downgraded its mask requirement to a recommendation lord have mercy the way people respond to this and and Newsom on Monday he recalled the second wave of the Spanish flu which was more deadly than the first he said it is incumbent upon us as individuals to be smart to wear a face covering to physically distance to continue to wash your hands and continue to do things that are necessary to avoid that second wave he said it's one thing to be outside it's another to be inside for an extended period of time without the ability to move around and move away from people this I suppose is a one of the things that guided him there was a state senator from a Renda his name Steve Glazer he's been pushing for a statewide mask order he's a guy who said that it's an issue that should not be dependent on county choice Stanislaus county was considering a mask order now they're not going to have to do that because the state is going to do it instead Sacramento county officials were also considering their recommendation to become a requirement

Didn't the CEO say that it was a? Tactical and business mistake, come out in favor of. Traditional marriage and didn't they say they're going to stop donating to organizations that promote traditional marriage, but that apparently is not enough. We talking about that later on. Also, the lead prosecutor in the central part five jogger case. Op at piece in the Wall Street Journal today saying, I'm sorry. The Qin burn documentary full of it this movie. That is now coming out, suggesting that the prosecutors denied them the opportunity to speak with their parents denied them water night them food. All she said a pack of lies. We talking about that later on his well. Now John dean said, hey, I'm not here as a fact witness chairman, Nadler. Rickie member Collins. The last time I appeared before your committee was July eleven nineteen seventy four during the impeachment inquiry of Richard Nixon, clearly, I'm not here today as a fact witness. So it highlights and brings attention to the wrongdoing, and the, and the predicate the committee's hoping to delay for, for the investigation theater rather than to some extent, steer because case to some extent it's feeder, please joke. Now you notice the. Media keeps saying that. Do you do you do you want to Trump in jail Cincinnati Pelosi says, I don't wanna see him impeach. I wanna see him in jail. And so now that's been the line. Do you wanna see Trump in jail, sir? He went to see the president United States in prison. Some extraordinary statement from the speaker of the house, new agree with her. Is that? How do you wanna see the president in prison instead of impeaching him? So what was your reaction when you heard speaker Pelosi reportedly saying that she wants to see President Trump in prison? I don't have any difficulty with those words. But here's the question, would you like to see President Trump in prison? Do you think President Trump committed crimes that could be prosecuted? He did. When Nancy Pelosi says she wants to see the president. United imprisoned is that at all realistic, you know, I think it could be realistic. No one is above the law, and that includes President Trump, if it determines that we lead to impeachment, or if he ends up in jail. So be it almost said that he should be in jail if you become president in. In twenty twenty. Would you want your Justice department to pursue charges against President Trump? Do you want to see President Trump in prisons? Well, let me press you, congressman. Do you want to see the president of the United States in jail? More than anything else. Will look the, the lizard brain that I have says, I hope bad things happen to this man, because he has been so destructive. Pelosi speaks, Trump hating media listens. Senator Graham said you can bring John dean down here. Bring him down. There's nothing going on in the house about protecting the twenty twenty election. They're trying to nullify the twenty-six election Muller has spoken. He found no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians after two years twenty five million dollars. The bottom line is what the house is doing is politically motivated, trying to destroy the Trump presidency. And I can assure you that we're done with the Muller investigation in the Senate. They can talk to John dean until the cows come home. We're not doing anything in the Senate regarding the mullahs report. "An open mind. I know you travel the world with with instruction and giving seminars and other classes as well. But you're based in the bay area, and as we all know living into bay area is shall we say challenging when it comes to commuting. So that's being nice about it. Yeah. We on the radio, I used a different word was cleaning it up to the folks at home. So you have several campuses around the bay area. Let's talk about the geography, and then we'll talk about getting people in that first class. Well, we have our main campus where we have actual classrooms where they're trading on our computers at actually with our money, which is kind of interesting how we do it. That's down by San Jose by the airport, right at the entrance off broke. Our roads, we have satellite, quote, unquote campuses, which are really hotels that we don't like doing them there. But we started doing a couple of years ago because not everybody wants to fight the traffic to drive from wherever they live down to San Jose. So there's remote locations to make it can be. And there they we have it in Pleasanton. We haven't occasionally not very often recently in Oakland. And and we have it in foster city off ninety two in San Mateo between one of those cases, people can figure it out. And you know, what you know? I it's worth it to fight a little bit of traffic alert. Heightened get your financial life. Squared away. That's the way I look at it. And I agree at my experience was that the time went incredibly fast, actually, it's not it's not a sales pitch. It's not a high pressure situation. You're you're you're you're giving me an overview using your excellent PowerPoint presentation, and you're explaining it as we go, and it was supposed to be. I think it's between two and a half and three hours. I swear I didn't feel like that. At all. I've I felt like I maybe watched an episode of the x files or something. Oh my gosh. Yeah. I I've actually shortened it to about two hours because people can only learn what they're rare raid will will tolerate a chair has fair about more of the things is that people always people think these are like get rich quick or go to a seminar shifting houses. It's not like that at all. This isn't get rich quick. But what everybody has to realize is that life is too short to get rich slow. And so we've got to provide a path for connect the happen. I like that maxim, let's get some people involved in that first free introductory class. Where can they call? And or go online. Okay. It's pretty simple as far as driving or if they have their cellphone handy. Hop on the phone, call eight seven seven. Three three eight trade TR AD at eight seven seven three.
