California lawmaker wants Peeps to change its ingredients
"A California lawmaker wants to ban dangerous ingredients in candy. Don't worry kids, assemblyman Jesse Gabriel of San Fernando valley isn't taking away your candy. I love candy. I love skittles. I love wild berry skittles. We are not trying to be a candy. So what are you trying to do? Ban in the state of California at 5 toxic substances that are used as additives in food, these substances are already banned in the European Union and in many other countries, the jurisdictions around the world. Because he says some chemicals in candy like red number three have been linked to cancer. The candy industry insists the chemicals California is considering banning have been thoroughly reviewed by the federal and state systems and many international scientific bodies and continue to be deemed safe. 10 Los Angeles middle schoolers treated for suspected overdoses
"To know if cannabis edibles were behind the overdoses of several LA students, I'm Lisa dwyer. Ten Los Angeles students appear to have overdosed on edible cannabis products at their middle school in the San Fernando valley. The Los Angeles fire department says the students between 13 and 14 years old experienced mild to moderate distress at the van nuys middle school, fire department captain Eric Scott says the overdoses were possibly from edible cannabis products and investigators want to know if it all came from the same source. That would be a possibility that there was all from the same bunch, but that has to be conclusively determined. The important information here is that this is not fentanyl related

"Super cute. That Sparky sparking the dog. And a good sport is my brother doesn't train dogs. So what you got to hope for is that you have a dog that will listen. He was very polite. He wouldn't run away. He would come most of the time. But if you left any food out, he would eat it. So because he was a dog. Anyway, but that dive bar was an interesting dog dive bar. And then there's a dive bar in Minneapolis that I never went to, but it didn't have any seating, it was weird. Only standing. They were like, come in, get drunk, stumble out. And if you brought them an AA chip, they would give you a free shot. What the fuck? Yeah. That's okay. Not okay. Super. Super douche baggy. And I was like, well, that just seems neat. That's out of control, wow. Part of me was like, oh, somebody must have an ankle bracelet there, and he's such a parole officer. That is an excellent point. You're probably correct. Yeah, I need these chips. No reason. No reason. All right, so what's your third one? Keeping with the Christmas theme, there's a wonderful dive bar in Nashville, Tennessee. Called Santa's pub. Oh. And it is a double wide trailer. What? Yep, it is a double wide trailer cash only. There bar is literally just a big old timey fridge with beer bottled beer. That's it. Christmas decorations everywhere. All the owner, the owner looks like Santa is called Santa and it is a karaoke bar. Oh my God, incredible. That sounds like an incredible bar. This is the greatest tour. This is an incredible tour. Some weird ass tiny bars. Now why did you go there? Were you just doing were you just traveling through? It was that time it was my first time ever going to Tennessee and I was doing shows. It was like, I was a baby comic when I went there for the first time. It was like the first one of the first road gigs that I did was going out there and I was just doing a bunch of like indie one night shows. I think it might have even been the first time I technically headlined, but I didn't tell anybody that. It used to be a first time. Make it till you make it, baby. You can't, you will not get headliner work until you tell somebody that you are a headliner. And then part B, and then you do the 45 minutes, and then guess what? Your headliner. And then you get better at it. So that's the only way. Yep. That one, yeah, that place is rad. I love that spot. It's so great. That's super cool. All right, next one. I decided to do a local one to LA in case there's anybody that's listening that's there. Lipsy bar. Have you ever been? No. Where's that? It's on western. It's technically everything. I guess it's beyond western. If you're in Hollywood, it should be on western. If you're in the valley, it should be on San Fernando. It's so funny. Yeah, it's technically, I don't know if it's technically east Hollywood or koreatown..

Was George Reeves's Death a Suicide?
"The George Reeves shall must have been the top one of the top 5 shows. One of the first 5 shows we did when I got to LA to do mysteries and scandals. And I knew some I knew some stories about George Reese, but man, so much more light was shed on these people. And I remember the names in these stories so well, he had a fiance named lenore lemon. And they went out to dinner with their friend Robert condon. And then the three of them went back to Reeves and Lennon's home in Benedict canyon. And just so you guys understand who don't live in this area, Benedict canyon is such a beautiful area. You go up the hill in the valley that separates Hollywood from the San Fernando valley, and these homes are gorgeous. And the view from these homes is spectacular. So they go back to their place on Benedict canyon, and after George goes to bed, lenore lemon decides to host an impromptu party in their living room with condon and the neighbors William bliss and Carol van ronkel. And Reese wakes up by all the goddamn noise they're making. You know, he's not in the mood to hear this kind of bullshit. You know what you're a celebrity and you're working in the business and things aren't going right. And you know you got people responding off you. You can't fucking stand to hear them in the other room laughing and whooping it up when all you're doing is laying your head on your pillow worried and concerned about what this fucking business is doing to you. And that's what was happening with George Reese. So he gets woken up by the stupid drunken noise. He comes downstairs to tell him to shut the hell up. Then he's calmed down. He spends some time with them. He had a drink. He said, calm down, George is such a stick in the mud. How the fuck can cognac. He has the drink. He's calmed down. And he goes back to his room. And not too long after that, the guests hear a gunshot coming from his room. So bliss runs up to stairs to the room, they find Reeves body naked, he's laying on the bed, and there's a gunshot wound to his temple. And as a pistol on the floor, and it looked like it fell out of his hand. Now even though George Reeves death was ruled a suicide, there's some conflicting stories that began to come out in the press, likely because of the fact that the only witness had been drunk at the time. And some news outlets claim that lenore lemon was with reason the bedroom when he shot himself and that she came downstairs and told her guests tell him I was down

"Is some good news for some. All right, Let's check out the numbers. Why not? We have temperatures today that should be a tad cooler in some spots will go 75 along the coast. Downtown 83 puts us right around the average will take that and the San Fernando Valley should pull out of the triple digits today, and that would be some good news. Even the I e getting a little bit of a break doesn't last. We'll let you know how that 70 forecast to shape it up. We'll do that in just a few minutes. Ginger or send it over to you. Yeah, Let's talk about some things that we got going on. We're anticipating today to be a fairly busy day just because a lot of people back at work in school that kind of thing, so we'll start off with our first real time Traffic map of this five free with the South Bend side right here at the four of our doesn't meet in two spots. We are talking about the one here in the San Fernando missionary where the crash is now sitting in the carpool lane. You see what the conditions are like. It's still pretty good, but it's just one of those things want to make sure you are well aware of what's going on. So we made the phone call just to confirm whether or not any of the exits are closed for the one on one freeway off of Sunset Boulevard. Everything is open. I feel like they should shut it down. Because if you exit at Sunset Boulevard, whether you exit on the north or stop outside, you're going to run right into the police activity. We're going to get the nuts and bolts in just a second from Carlos Herrera, who is alive, But it is the end of a police pursuit right outside the old Denny's there And so because of it, we've got Sunset Boulevard close. I'm going to put it just before that gas station. On the Home Depot's Wilton place, and then running you to the West. The closure extending all the way over to about Bronson. And at times you cannot accept access van s. You just have to know. A lot of people are using some of those smaller streets in the surrounding areas to get back on to some of us main areas of sensitive boulevard. That kind of thing, And that just means you got to follow all those stop signs.

It just is rough because of the fires were not gonna probably go back to, uh and I think it's going to happen fairly soon when I was a kid growing up in the San Fernando Valley. And there were no catalytic converters. And people would burn their garbage in the backyard. They had incinerators. And the towards summertime. I remember going out during the summer towards the end of the school year. You have to stay inside. You go outside. And if you breathe deeply, it actually hurt like the smog was so bad Wow to breathe and they kept you inside. And it's just and we're going back to those days. Isn't that special? Alright in Florida, Speaking of the weather, you've got a storm threat that's hanging over now. The condo site and the rescue recovery mission. I know it's kind of semantics at this point, but I guess there's still hope. If they will find somebody in that, But you've got tropical storm Elsa probably going to hit more. The keys area and kind of stay away from Surfside. But with it comes wild weather in. I guess they've had lightning. And it's because of the lightning that they'll have to stop operations because a lot of the rebar and things that are in there are like lightning rods. So they have to stop for a few minutes while the lightning goes on, then the rescuers go back in there and continue the operation Death toll Now 2800 and 17 people unaccounted. And no one has been pulled out that has survived other than that first, uh within hours. That 10 year old kid if you remember And after that hand out of the rubber that nothing And we're not getting information is too and I don't know if we're going to because it's I. You know, it's difficult to to read about it to see about it to hear about it. And that is the shape of the bodies that they're pulling out. Oh, yeah, because this haven't seen anything. I don't think you're going to because they I'm willing to bet that there isn't much left of the very remains themselves. Based on the way this thing has come down. It's devastating later on going to do a story on this, uh and that has to do at seven o'clock lawsuits already starting to fly. How much insurance is there Who's at fault, and that's before the rescue? Well, the recovery is even recoveries even done. Let's check in with Jennifer Jones League.

Cut akilah yeah. I like that would have been cool. I hope that when she campaigns for this tech you can talk when she campaigns for this tequila. I hope that she incorporates. "Facilities in the San Fernando Valley. What made Mayor Bradley come to her and say this needed to be done? I think she had the mission of bringing communities together to listen to music. Um, I don't know how others feel about it. But I myself I know that music touches something in our soul. It brings us to a time in a place or a moment. It either brings a good bad or bond memory. Um, it's something that when people speak to us, it's words that Oh, my God, I wish I could have said that myself, and this other person knows exactly where I'm coming from. So it's a connector, and I think that the mayor felt that by connecting a number of organisms, a number of people It would start a nice tradition on making them free. Just made it a little bit better than family and friends and people can come together and we do it on a weekly basis on Sunday night. But you just get this pitch for two or three hours in a park, enjoying in the lovely dinner, listening to the music and just having fun. It sounds like such a good time without a care in the world. Just listening to music, you know, daydreaming or being with someone you love and just chilling. That sounds so cool that you're getting up and dancing and participating, you know? Oh, and it just It's just free and surprisingly, it's kind of like the best kept secret. Where any, you know, with 6500 people show up every Sunday night on more Listen to music. So let's talk about how has it been affected with the pandemic and such? Yeah, our season is the summer So we do turn concerts in Woodland Hills and eight concerts in North Hollywood. Um and they all stopped. We did movies on Saturday nights. They stopped. Everything came to a stop. So how do you keep an organization going? While everything else is stopped. We just jumped in a little bit. We changed from doing concerts to doing drive in movies again, providing them three free for the community. Um, we have something called are emerging artists and these air up incoming rising individuals. Who are the future of the music sound in Los Angeles and throughout the world, and we started doing something called concerts on the couch. Small little 15 minute videos. That had three artists on them because we figured people don't listen more than 15 minutes, Right? And we did about 15 of them and they're on. You know our website that people can listen to them all the time. We did a Christmas album. So this is the first time that Valley close will got into producing an album. We took these emerging artists and have brand new Christmas songs that we did during the holidays. We have something called Battle of the bands last year. We did it in person this year. We are doing it online, so not only were we able to keep it local in L. A. We have some international artists participating, right? And then coming up in March. We're going to be going to podcasting us well. Nice. So how important was it? Was it for you guys to get these new artists involved and put together this Christmas album? It's very important because the artists have no place to play. Their livelihood, their survival. Their enjoyment is the audience that inspection of people listening to them in the bars in the club in small venues, and because he's of all being closed down since the pandemic, they still have all these creative ideas. And so I said, music's flowing And when's the last time that you heard a really good new Christmas song from somebody. That was not the standard Plus one day, three o'clock in the morning, I wake up and say we're doing an album. And there we did it. We reached out to the emerging artists and 15 of them participated with 20 songs. Some of funny Some are typical holidays and some are what I like to call the Barry Manilow weekend in New England talked So it just It just gives the illusion of the holidays. End of the season, and these, the album is still in it. It's still online that you can still persist that will hear it at on a website. Um, and it just helps support the artist that gives him another avenue other than their website, and they have Facebook to have their music heard by other people. So what impact do you guys feel like you have on the community? Um, you know, I think we have a lot of impact because we get to provide a service now, do we? Do we give food out? No. Do we give any do we could do with those practices? The answer's no. What we give us an escape moment. Most of the attendees cannot afford to go to concerts. They're very expensive. So if we can give them that time just to enjoy music and take away a little of this stress and a little bit of their problems, and just enjoying afternoon under the trees on D music playing around you And and just pure joy. There's nothing else but pure joy that comes out of the events. I think that show importance because you don't necessarily have to, You know, give out food and things like that. That's not your lame, but you are still helping people just escape reality and have a good time for two hours out of the night. Two hours. That was a little bit longer than that What we do. We're in the park with there. Almost four hours. We have the opening acts, which are the emerging artists. And then we have our aunt on Regulus tribute bands as we call them that actually plays like you know the songs of your youth. What aspect of the organization do you enjoy? I enjoy everything about this organization. Do you know how sometimes you wake up and you just a pure joy of doing what you enjoy? What is they all saying that Kathie Lee Gifford says her father would take find something that you enjoy and find a way to get paid for it. S so I kind of find them. I enjoy coming to work Every day. I enjoy the joy that I get to give other people. An example would be a couple years back with doing the fourth of July. We do. Ah, Fourth of July. Councilman Blumenfeld sponsors that and there's 60,000 people surrounding Because of the fireworks show and I'm sitting there watching and looking at the sheer joy on their faces that Iesus organization get to give them 15 minutes of something looking in the sky of bringing back a time when they were with their parents, their grandparents. They were at a lake with friends. You know, the Fourth of July. It's just a common thread and the smiles on their faces. And that's what I get to do each week with the music that I bring to them or the albums or the You know, whatever we get to do that we get to bring to the public that it's just joy. Have you not be joyful with music? Absolutely. That's what I do every day, Sit in a room and listen to music. My favorite songs. Exactly, you know that It doesn't have to be something that you even mindful up. It's something that just happens. I mean, it's the background noise in the car. It's the background music while you're washing dishes. It's just something that kind of gives you the moment. Um, of the beat that keeps you moving in a forward direction. What are some of the programs that you guys actually support? The Valley. Cultural has the flagship is the concerts on the green. We have no host summer night. We have, um, the emerging artists. We support schools in that we give scholarships for $500 to the arts programs and L. A unified school district. Any one of them. Multimedia's We put on Children's programs on Monday mornings during the summer for free introduced Children between the ages four and 11 of The arts..

All right, so Governor Apple came out today to announce that the statewide stay at home water is being rescinded. Which means we're back in the stupid, county colored tier system, which may or may not mean something's changed in L. A county. I tell you what's gonna happen. The folks in Orange County, said Diego County and most of the other counties in Southern California are going back to outdoor dining and everything they had before. We were the only one here in L. A county already had limits before Newsome came along in December with the stay at home order, and by the way, the only reason that the whole county is dragged down, it's because they have enormous spread on the east side of the city of Los Angeles. And in parts of the Northeast San Fernando Valley and other scattered communities. The immigrant communities are getting overwhelmed with the virus. There were several stories on this. In the L A Times, New York Times and other places that it's like 10 times the amount there on the East side compared to other places, so there's absolutely no reason for the whole county to be shut down. Just not at all. They've got a severe problem in those overcrowded, densely populated neighborhoods where there's 10 people living in a one bedroom apartment, literally, 10 people. And I have no is, If this is their idea of equity that everybody in the county has to be shut down because of a problem in a limited number of neighborhoods because of the density of population, then that is most Inequitable equity problem. Plan I've ever seen in my life. Now on the this is going with the This is when you have woke health policy by a bunch of woe. Cole's running government now. Well, they have to do what they can do to bring down these numbers so there could be free. So I don't know why they haven't concentrated on those neighborhoods You just mentioned from the very beginning. I mean, what we find out last week they're gonna send Kitson with masks and hand sanitizer. Kid's gonna drop off kids. January. 2021 kids, You should have a big mobile van, and they're given out vaccines. They should be going door to door with vaccines. Sure, I'll take that. I mean, I mean, like the ice cream truck coming down the street. You get your vaccines here, Little bell going off, eh? So I totally flummoxed even the crazy stuff they preach. Bad equity. They don't even follow through competently on that. Yeah, Who's gonna argue if the vaccines went to the hardest hit neighborhoods first? Nobody right now would actually make scientific sense, But they're anti science. In L. A county. Every every. Everything they do is anti science. It's about power. It's about woke ideology. Well, but you know the topic of the vaccines. It's like this story you found today for the National Review that Dr Rochelle Wolinsky Joe Biden's appointee to run the CDC. Apparently, they don't know how many doses of the vaccine the country has. You can't count can't keep track. I don't anybody tries to figure out where the shortages coming from if there is a shortage, because we've been telling you time and time again, even though there's not enough vaccines yet in the states to vaccinate the population, there's a lot of unused doses still lying around. So it just doesn't make any sense. Yes. Listen to this new genius. Gee, I know I knew everything would get better once Joe Biden took over, right? So this is the new CDC director, Dr Rochelle Walensky. I can't tell you how much vaccine we have, and if I can't tell it to you that I can't tell it to the governors and I can't tell it to the state health officials, she said this on Fox News Sunday. If they don't know how much vaccine they're getting, not just this week. But next week and the week after they can't plan they can't figure out how many sights to roll out. They can't figure out how the vaccinators they need. They can't figure out how many appointments to make for the public. And then blamed it on Trump saying. This is the problem. We're left with challenges. We're left with hot, but except and this is Jim Garrity writes in the National Review. I'm just paraphrasing it. There's at least one person in at Madonna and one person adviser who knows exactly how many doses each company's manufactured exactly how many doses has gone. Distributed in the United States and other countries and how many have been administered so far. Everybody should have ballpark figures for these numbers, and that's absolutely right. And we do get some numbers. This Bloomberg compilation that you read almost every day seems to indicate some kind of number there. There is a number and he says, Every company in the world manages its inventory using you. PC coats. Uniformed price code. I think it stands for and those of the white and black lines on every product that the clerk at the cash register runs over a scanner and it goes boot. All right. Those codes are on every single shipment of vaccine. And there's radio frequency I d chips that tracks any shipment that gets misplaced or goes off course, that's what Amazon ups and the Postal Service that's how they know where your packages while it's being shipped. In fact, he says, even drug cartels keep Careful track of the inventory. And he says, we're being told the CDC can't keep track of how many vaccines they've got. Where they're going. Was knowing. Counting the boxes is the shipments rolled off the production line. I mean, this. This is just that which means they must be lying. Somebody's lying here. The idea that the government and Madonna and Fizer have no idea how many vaccines were sent out or where they went, is absolutely false, not believable. Well, the governor's office put out a press release. Today. They've got this new system, which is me worth getting into called my turn. It's a website where you can sign up to be told when it's your turn to get the vaccine, But they're saying California's received more than four million doses. Of covert 19 vaccine. That's their number. Just more than four million not very specific but roughly enough for two million people in two doses each. Claiming we have three million health care workers and nursing home residents. Six million people above 8 65 2.5 million who worked on education, child care, emergency services and food and agriculture. I think this is a cover. I know. On the Bloomberg list. The CDC.

As a kid growing up there, where did you live and how did you first start plugging into the whole strip in the scene and everything that was going on there? I was born in L. A. Downtown La but then as a kid. Moved to Glendale California which is just right. Next door. They're nice sleepy little town and I basically grew up there went to high school there the whole bit and was there up until like nine hundred ninety and that I but I moved to the valley when I got married a second time and Just. been there all my life and. I was well connected when I was a kid started going to concerts when I was twelve. I concert was the Beatles. Hollywood ball no. That was all I. I went to the last la which was August. Twenty nineteen, sixty six and that was the Beatles Esta left. Day before the last one, which was candlestick. But that was my first concert. That right in the second row air right there. Six dollars? Ticket dollars can you actually hear the Beatles because? I HAVE THEM IN DC and said, the girls were screaming so loud that she couldn't hear the Beatles from where she was sitting in the stadium Yakking you know here and there it wasn't obviously crystal clear. You did have screamed grounding out of most of the time, but you could hear your somewhat mind blown dude, that's all I wanNA say or I'll deal mind-blowing. Well, that'll be a great entry into rock and roll life for anyone. And Talk to us a little bit about the book you were taking pictures around the L. A. Seen for quite a number of years in have some stunning captures in this book in all, it was going to concerts as a kid I used to play around with little Brownie camera when I was nine and ten years old and so eventually when I was able to graduate up to actually getting a decent camera which was. Like nineteen, Seventy, eight, seventy, nine, eighty at one. I really started pushing myself into the into the scene as best I could. It's all proven yourself in the beginning paying your dues you know you're not getting paid when you start out, it wasn't the solely for the money was the for the love of the whole thing. I always had a visual of capturing a great moment. You know whether it was in concert or meeting. Somebody in a hotel room that's what I started doing. Did you build a black and white dark room in your house? My father had a black and white dark room. Yeah. I didn't my house. I had a friend that helped me out a lot a couple of friends that end our rooms and I would bring my films as soon as I shot it the next morning I was there almost at the crack of dawn. We gotta get this process you know right away. That's awesome. You know would do the proof sheets and then big out of print I'd have sometimes I'd have to send something out right away most of the time in the beginning, it was just doing it and getting it done. So I could actually look at what I shot. That's all part of the beginning anyway trial and error is how you learn from a day to day thing you know 'cause I'm self taught I didn't go to school for it and I just I always wanted to do that. You know just take pictures because my father. Was, a newspaper man you were for hearst for the Herald, examiner in La A., and that's how I of got into it. When I was a kid was he would always take me down to the office I used to look at all the photos and the photo room with saga offers, and then I go to the pressroom and watch the paper roll off the presses at night with the greatest greatest experience you know the newspaper game sets how I got into want shoot black and white for falls. What was the first concert? You Shot Elvis Presley Whoa. Seventy six year before he died he he never he didn't come to L. A. and seventy-six closes. He came Long Beach Arena and I had tickets through a friend who is very well connected into Elvis and getting good tickets. So we had some really good seats and that time I think I'd be twenty five bucks to see John a few pictures. They didn't really come out that well. So that's why nothing has really been seen on that because I nothing came out that good at all.

"Angelenos were awoken by a 4.2 magnitude earthquake centered in the San Fernando Valley near Pacoima. KPCC science reporter Jacob Margolis lives nearby, and he has more 4.2 Isn't all that big. But since it was right beneath us, it hit harder than any recent earthquake. I know. I remember. I woke up because I felt like a truck hit my house. If you didn't feel it, it may be because of how far you were from the epicenter. The good news is there was no significant damage reported. Remember, All of this is totally normal for our area. The shaking could continue as aftershocks rolled through. There's even a chance that a bigger one could be on the way, which is a totally unsettling thought. But and I know that, like none of us can handle this emotionally. Right now. You can prepare for the next quake by getting your emergency kit and an emergency plan together. Covering science. Los Angeles County Locals Make Up Bulk of Looting Arrests
"It is Hey so what what's going on over there what's the word on the street I know that you've been extremely busy and and by the way the work you're doing like collecting the information and not necessarily concentrating on on exactly what's going on the street but why it's going on you've been terrific on this body unbelievable thanks so much yet one of the things that we've been trying to figure out over the last few days is where is all the trouble coming from because clearly the bulk of the people who have been hitting the streets with the signs with the demonstrations with the protest had nothing to do with the mess that we've seen over a few nights over the weekend I mean the worst of it seem to be Saturday night in the LA's Fairfax district and then there was something of a repeat performance in Santa Monica and we saw some of it to go down to Long Beach and certainly some in the San Fernando Valley although it seems like and check me on this if I'm wrong but it seems like over the last couple of days the volume has been turned down on the unrest and and the looting and the arson right it seems much smaller and not quite as many people involved so we've been trying to find out who are the people that are responsible for the trouble and in some other cities not here in southern California but in the Midwest in back east there was word spreading that there were groups of outside agitators I think is the right buzz word who are coming into town and causing all the trouble we want to find out if that was happening here so we got hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of booking records from arrests that were made beginning last Thursday all the way through yesterday at midnight and lo and behold the people who've been locked up on the most serious charges not the people who get arrested for sitting in the street and volunteering to be arrested as an act of civil disobedience rather the people who are out to do harm allegedly and have been nabbed by police in the active perhaps looting or vandalism or arson who are they they're all from southern California for the most part they all have LA county addresses there are a few flyers from Fontana and maybe some from the antelope valley but for the most part from the corner of southern California we found I think five or six people who were from out of state I want one from Michigan and one from New York one from Chicago but it you know LA is a town that's full of people from out of town so it's hard to tell if those are folks who came in to LA to cause trouble or they just happen to be wrapped up in this so as a non it's not mostly outside agitators then you're saying it's mostly southern Californians granted we don't know who everybody is this out on the street but all of this small slice of the people who were arrested on the most serious charges felonies here not good no not little stuff they're predominantly from southern California and for one reason or another most of them are already out of jail in fact most of them were out of jail within twelve hours of being arrested we've been looking into that as well hi you have the number of people being rearrested none that's that's one of the other interesting things that as we look through the records beginning Thursday night again through midnight last night we got all the names we put the names in a huge spreadsheet and alphabetize them looking for repeat offenders and at least as far as the felony cases go we didn't see any wow granted that's a again a small fraction of the people that were involved because not everybody that was out looting in doing terrible things got arrested it's only a fraction of them they did on top of that it's a a fraction of all of the people who got locked up the numbers were hearing pretty staggering between Thursday and today it is well over two thousand people that have been through the booking process most of them again on those low level charges for violating the curfew order or failing to disperse when police declare a particular demonstration and unlawful gathering that's going to be the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of those hundreds there's you know maybe a few hundred that were booked on suspicion of felonies so that's the group that we're looking at and then trying to extract out some information that tells us more about what the heck's
