San Diego Enters the Red Tier
"Welcome to southern california real estate report. This is bob mcguire. Daniel wise come into from san diego. California reopening sandiego reopened a red tier san diego. Right pretty exciting. So so what does this mean really for us so it. There's there's some right there's some honest it doesn't mean anything but i'm not gonna sit inside and san diego weather right now and other at a restaurant but you know what it does mean that the world i was opening up restaurants precise operate at twenty five percent capacity inside museums could operate inside a twenty five percent capacity. Haven't been very perk is open so all in all the fun things seaworld you know. I don't know what to say about seaworld. But so they offer operate again inside. I think they've been able to operate outside museums but now they can go back to operating inside right in time for our summer. Tourism season right and saint patrick's day right so which this is going to post just the day after saint patrick's day but it was a big deal so going into the red tier for that particular day. It was big deal. So i go to this really like super great little deli down in down by san diego state. Right and it's it's a real popular one. I don't know if you've ever been to it. it's It's it's like a little jewish deli called What is it called. I cannot remember the name right now. i can't believe. I'll have to look it up. I'll post at d. d. and it's awesome. It's like really authentic really great and it was packed. Last night. I went last night to pick up dinner and i do weight and extra forty five minutes to get my dinner and it was to go do irish jews in common like well. I think it's just because it's a deli. They just do super good corned. Beef was one of those things. So it's a really but it's a really popular. So i think that the delhi site that the jewish shelley more like east coast so they're really really good. It's just i mean. does that sound bad. I don't. I don't know i so. So it's a really like it's it's it's like an authentic east coast deli. That's yeah i don't know what's funny as delays even growing up with a jewish family. I don't go to delhi. So i really don't know like a bad east coast deli from sally so it's i think it's a lot different. It's a lot. There are a lot better and so they have much better light quality of meats. And everything like that. So it's just the one in del mar really popular same thing. East coast are west coast elliott. That's like an east coast one and that is also a very well known really good jewish delis so that the east coast jewish. He's known as being really good. Yeah and so so. That's why it's not like it's not like It's not like a religious thing or anything but it's it's always funny that i hear so milton's and are the two big ones here and i'm sure milton's was super pac too but So it's really good and and it was packed. It was packed packed. Like i've never seen it. That packed and crazy and spent there. Because i was there to get dinner together because i wanted corn beef. Because i'm an irish guy and it was the whole outside was completely packed and there was like a line like out the door around the building practically to get in and that was to order it and you had to wait an hour to order it. So it's so. I mean clearly like the red tier like people were getting out. Yeah i feel like people having getting out if you like. The more and more people are that are getting vaccinated especially has kind of elderly generation. It's getting vaccinated. You're gonna see a resurgence and that's a really good point. Because last night it was a lot of older people. Like a lot of people that you wouldn't think would be going out. We're definitely out who fully vaccinated talking to. They're like oh it feels so good to be vaccinated and you know. Yeah we're we're we're ready to get out again and people were talking like in line that this was the first time they've been out in a long time so i think it's good the combination of the vaccine's rolling out at the same time that obviously that's having an effect on the numbers here they're saying that our numbers are really good So the the numbers are. I think we've now gone to six cases per hundred thousand. I don't remember exactly what we're we're so it is saying in here and this by the way was out of the. Ut okay so union tribune and they are saying nine of the other county so it looks like nine. Other counties moved into red to in those were monterey riverside sacramento santa barbara center to hema to lori and ventura And then that just leaves eleven of the california's fifty eight counties in the most restrictive purple tier still the the cases. They're saying have gone to six point. Eight per one hundred thousand residence so they took last week's case rate which was eight point. Eight where at six point eight. And i think they took like a combined total and that got us just over the mark to go to read. So that's good so we keep having our case count drop to which is which is good and i think a lot of that has to do with vaccines right. We're just not spreading fast and it's starting to slow down so hopefully this'll be. The weird thing is in europe. They're kinda getting so talked to one of our clients say who lives in france and She was saying that you know like where she is. She's around knees and it's become more restrictive there so they become more lockdown.

How Cody Sperber Completely Screwed Everything Up & Still Got Rich
"And on that about is just this topic about how you completely screwed up. Not just something but everything and you still got rich and this is a fascinating topic. Is i know having spoken to now. You know well over twenty five hundred entrepreneurs on this show and speaking entrepreneur fire nation a lot that a lot of people who have never quote unquote and made it or gotten rich. They seem to think there's just like this one chance they get if they don't hit out of the ballpark and just hit a grand slam on that one. I try they're doomed forever. They're living under a bridge. They're eating out of some trash. Can this on fire like they just have literally that's the perception but the reality is the you know and that i know and that all the past guests that i've had on tried to share and get across the my audiences. Listen you can literally screw up everything for years and years and years one thing right just one thing and you can become filthy stinking rich so break this down for us. Cody how can you screw everything up and still win at this game of life. Just think about your own personal john. I can only imagine you've interviewed so many people when you first were starting out. You had this vision of what you wanted to do. But as you started taking steps to actually you know put in the work and make it happen for yourself. How many new things constantly just unfolded in frail. I mean literally. Ignorance is absolute bliss when it comes to something like this. Because if i had known what was going to be involved with the growing this media empire like i probably would have been too scared to start but i know so. You're right. I just had to start and i found a bunch of things along the way and just had to keep knocking them out. If you don't have or passion for whatever it is you're doing you're not gonna make it through the fires so i mean that's a core thing they gotta have and if you don't have it right now you're working a dead end job and you're one of those people that says oh man i want to go to work today or it's the weekend i can't wait for the weekend do so i could take off and chill and barbecue and stuff. You're in the wrong profession and you need to do whatever it takes to find. What your purpose in light is. Because i never feel like. I'm going to work i. I'm so obsessed with what i do. It's all i think about all the time. And i love it. I actually get irritated when things get into way of me. Living my life's purpose so so. So that's that's kind of the practice of it. But you know it's not about one big win it stacking little wins along the way and it's about developing your core skills and capabilities as you're on your journey. I you know. I can envision trying to start. I don't have a podcast but harrington starting a podcast realize. Oh my god. I got to know how to get listeners. I gotta learn how to do graphic design. I gotta learn how to talk properly and be concise and there's so many other skills sales skills business skills that go into being able to do what you do. I can only imagine how many little steps older printing so for me. I've always been the underdog. I've always been person that When i when i was a kid i had extreme hyperactivity disorder with the called it. I was on ritalin. My dad was really. He's he's my hero. He's an amazing human beings. He used to walk into my room and tell me hey. Don't listen all the teachers doctors and everybody. Don't listen to your mom. You shouldn't be taken this crap. And he would switch out. My ritalin with a multivitamin so awesome intel my mom. Oh yeah. I gave it to him because he always told me. That's your superpower kid like don't ever forget that like that's to be the thing that's going to take your life in in so i was always if i was into something. I was obsessed with it. Otherwise i totally neglected it. That's why did poorly in school. And i'm sure a lot of people listening this probably relate to some of this You know i was always passed over pushed around. I was bullied. I was sidelined. I was the underdog. And i didn't understand it as a kid but as you grow up i got used to being with my back against the law. I got used to being in a pressure situation. Where i was always trying to perform and it has an adult manure. It's the greatest thing ever. Were you like that. On on any level john absolutely i mean for me. I was just that person who's always struggling to truly envision. Like what is that passion that i have in life and i didn't find it in my teens. I didn't find it in my twenties. It was literally all the way to my early thirties before i was like. Oh okay. I don't have to do this job that i know i'm gonna hate the next forty years so it absolutely took time. So that's why. When i talked to people that are fifteen. Twenty thirty fifty and they're like you know what like i still don't feel like i found my thing. I'm like hey sometimes it just takes longer and sometimes we're not all born as entrepreneurs but we grow and develop into entrepreneurs because that was me for sure i wasn't selling baseball cards at twelve years old. I wasn't running around like you know selling newspaper. I wasn't doing anything. Entrepreneurial at all until i was thirty two years of age so it came to me later in life not late in life but later in life. And i really do love cody. How you talked about stacking little winds in for me to game changing books that i read back in two thousand twelve and i was getting my entrepreneur. Journey going is the slight edge by jeff olson. In the compound effect by darren heart because those books talk about just that stacking these little wins and when you stack these little wins over time they give you the slight edge. It was turned into a massive edge. They compounds and they give you this compound effect into massive massive winds so fire nation when you look back over a month and you're like i really accomplish anything big this month hay. What are the little things that you did like. What are the little things you're stacking. That are over six months twelve months twenty four months going to cause massive massive win so i want to kind of move into cody. A little bit about why. This game is rigged. I mean you know. I know that you screwed everything up in your life at least once in your still winning and you're still it would be financially successful but you were able to identify because of that. This game is rigged so talk to us. About what exactly that phrase means and of course how we is fire nation can beat that ragged game. I got into real estate about sixteen years ago and as as an investor down create a real estate investor. And so. I had very little resources. So i was looking around trying to figure out you know how to make money in in what i was going to do with my life. I was just coming out of the navy. And i was like okay. I got to figure something out at at a certain point. I wanted to be a history teacher. And i went and talked to the history professors down at san diego state university and i said how much you guys make and they started laughing and they said we gotta have two jobs just to survive and so i was looking around for something and that's when i discovered no money down real estate. Investing in was because a friend flipped a house and made eighty thousand dollars in a couple months before that we were party in he had nothing to his name and now he's driving a brand new mercedes in at all this money and i was like how did you do that. He's like i did this. This process called wholesaling. Right flipped a house. And i made this money. I didn't have to have a real estate license. I didn't have to have deep pockets. Didn't have any previous experience. Somebody showed me how to do it. And i i did it. And that was for like one of the first times where i realized. What don't i know about making money. What don't i understand what wasn't taught to me in school. And unfortunately a lot of people grow up. They don't have financial intelligence. We're not taught how to be great at making money. Not really making money. We're taught to get a job you know and that whole spiel where you're conditioned from your teachers your parents in your church and school get good grades and get a good job and you work away up the corporate ladder and so once i discovered that there's this whole world of creative real estate out there i just went down the rabbit hole and when i say the game is rigged. There's a million potholes and hurdles in your way but financial intelligence takes energy in after. I'm horrible at math. I loved to make money and the two don't aren't required to go together and I look at this damien. go all right. Needs to be more education out there taught especially if we go upstream in and work with young kids which is a lot of charity. Work and stuff that i do Works with underprivileged kids onto. It's because i. I gotta get them. Young got to change their language patterns their relationship with money needs to change. They have to understand that letter running a big corporate businesses. They don't want you to break free and go and start your own business and be their competitors they want you to follow the rules and sit in see and it's kinda that old school mentality where they just want you to follow the rules and for me second. I started asking better questions. why why. Why do these things happened. Why don't why aren't they teaching. These things and i started going down. The rabbit holes started finding some good mentors in my life. Everything starting to ship and what you'll find is once you start down that path. It's impossible not

NBA Mock Draft 3.0
"And we are back talking two thousand twenty mock draft three point o our last mock draft of the year. It's draft day draft morning. What better to unwrap and a mock draft on draft morning. it's the second round. Now now's the time to confess. I'm really terrible at projecting second rounds like you know my hit rate and some drafts has been like one two three picks in the second round. It's it's so hard to keep track of the first round the wheels to sort of come off and these picks happened like every two minutes. I it's hard to really keep track. I did my best. I project where. I think particular players can go. You definitely don't really get deep into this when you're talking the nba scouts in executives about what they're going to do in the second round. They're still trying to figure out the first round as well. So i've tried to find some fits there so this is reported more chad ford speculation. Here about what's happening. The second round starts with the dallas mavericks this pick via the warriors taking malachi. Flynn the san diego state. Junior point guard One of the guys that frankly could go ten spots higher in the draft. I actually really love malachi flynn. There's kind of a lot of point guards kind of later in the first round which may push him out a little bit. But i actually think he's the guy who could step in play right away. I would actually love him in dallas. I think that'd be great. Pick for dallas at thirty one at thirty two. The charlotte hornets are on the board. They're getting this pick via the cavs. Paul read the sophomore forward center out of depaul. Have them going thirty two. This is john. Hollinger's been super high on all year. I think he's another guy who can guard positions on the floor. I really like him. Actually think he brings some stuff offensively as well. I personally like him. Better than precious. I'm right now. Could turn out to be a terrible take. But it's kind of what i think and i definitely think he could be an excellent fit. I'm in charlotte. Especially if they end up with lamelo ball and they're gonna need to add a defensive big man. As part of that package at thirty-three the minnesota timberwolves around the board. This'll be the third pick because they have to. First round picks. Tillman the junior power forward at michigan state. Everybody loves this kid. He's he's one of these guys like high floor. Low ceiling. just does his work every day. Great rebound or plays hard. I'm ken defend going. Bring be a great locker room guy is gonna find some rotation that somewhere I like him in minnesota on a team. That is trying to go forward. I think he actually adds a bit of a veteran presence to the locker room. At thirty four the philadelphia seventy sixers are on the clock. That get this. Pick via the hawks. Isaiah joe the arkansas shooting guard who is one of the best shooters in this draft. Crazy range. High volume of three point shots philadelphia. Always in need shooters. When you're going to be playing. Ben simmons on this team he certainly constructs the floor. And i'd like isaiah joe there them at thirty five the sacramento kings Via the pistons. Dan dotson to kansas sophomore guard. Who is one of the quickest players in the draft. He's an elite score excels off the getting to the basket not a great shooter a bit undersized for his position not really a point guard that's why he slides a few spots higher but could be instant offense off the bench for sacrimento at thirty five at thirty six the philadelphia seventy sixers back on the clock this time via that pick from the mix jordan aura the louisville junior who also is one of the better shooters in this draft. He has good size vers position. Good length i'm not sure exactly what else he brings to the table besides shooting but again i'm just loading philly up i with shooters at the moment at thirty seven. The washington wizards are on the board. They get this pick via the chicago. Bulls tyler bay the junior ford out of colorado who is one of the best athletes in the strath super explosive. Really hard worker on the defensive end still just kinda coming along on the offensive. And then i think that's been a concern. He's he's one of those guys that might be a little bit of a twitter. Not sure exactly what position he plays in the pros that causes him to slide. A few picks in this draft think this is still really value. and by the way when. We're talking about a lot of these guys dotson. Tillman for example malachi flan. These guys could all end up in the first round as well. Just have them the second thirty eight new york knicks via the hornets janis ramsey. The texas tech freshman guard again volume score can shoot it a little bit We're just loading the knicks up now with backward guys that can score the basketball. I'm not sure who's going to defend in new york. But he's an intriguing prospect. He's only nineteen years old. And i certainly there's upside there with the thirtieth pick in the draft at thirty nine the new orleans. Pelicans selecting this pick for the wizards. Daniela touro the minnesota sophomore center. Who had a really really strong summer season one of the more improved players in the country very skilled at big man. I'm great size. Adding just bore skill in size to this pelicans roster i'm at the moment If you remember earlier jalen smith. I'm selected at thirteen at forty. The grizzlies are on the board. This pick via the silence. This is the first pick that the grizzlies have been able to make in the twenty twenty. Nba draft a doco as a bouquet. The kansas center. Big guy seven. Seven wingspan seven footer. Really good athlete actually just dominant player in the pain. Terrible free throw. Shooter doesn't really do anything facing the basket. But when you have that size and length and athleticism. I think you get something done in. The and kind of reminds me deondraye jordan. A little bit and a little bit surprised. He doesn't go higher. I get there seems to be a penalty on the big minner plane or pain. Right now in the draft at forty one san antonio spurs back on the on the board yama dr the israeli guard nineteen year old for hop. Well tel-aviv and you know. He's such an intriguing prospect because he plays his butt off. His incredible energy is just making a difference when he's out there but he's not really a point guard. He's kind of more of a two guard in a point guards body. He's not like a great shooter. I'm athletically he's actually not bad at all but that lack of a jump shot kinda undersized i position that makes him more of a second round prospect at he absolutely wants to leave israel and come to the nba. And if it's the g. league next year and so he could be an interesting prospect for san antonio developed down the road

Stomping out Diabetic Foot Ulcers at Podimetrics
"Exciting to be here thrilled to get a chance to talk about the real pains and struggles the unglamorous parts of startups and. Just. Throw the be here today. Terrific terrific. Now, one thing that was a little bit interesting to do hopefully, listeners do as well is here a little bit about your back story or CEO's backstories how they got into Med tact. Their path to their venture in this case, Pota- metrics and Just learn a little bit about you was your path kind of almost predestined medicine and science was more secure this How did entrepreneurship fit into that? Tell us a little bit about your background. It's definitely not. Linear it's been a very. Interesting path to get to where I am today but grew up in in southern California. Used to do. I was going to be a musician. I was a fairly dreadful percussionist in various punk bands and you know I thought that was GONNA be Kinda my deal for while I went to Undergrad at at San Diego State University coming out of high school is Maybe C. Student something like that and I spent eight years. Undergrad is there for quite a bit you're really trying to figure out like, why am I here what am I WANNA do? It was Kinda on the hunt for something I didn't really know what it was. And I just never run out of the year, your four or five as I'm just GonNa just coasting along I end up meeting this this pre med student and. It was such an amazing I ended up your city. Just talking to this guy, he he had every everything was so well planned meticulously and he was talking about, you know why he was doing it and it instantly resonated with me I I'd been at this point thing I was a chemistry major with emphasis in biochemistry. But the idea that you could use those to you know make another person feel better. It's very practical use of everything that I had been learning and it was crazy. It instantly clicked holy smokes like this could be an amazing thing I just knew somebody with my sis stellar academic career going up until this point wasn't going to be an easy part. I'm I'm proclaims the Pre Med office and you know they're looking at my record like. John. There's other there's other pathways you could do. and. Out of it and there's also do schools but you know that may be a challenge and I was just like, okay. This is what I wanna do this is it. Around the same time I. Remember. I worked basically fulltime all of Undergrad and was on the phone this when these amazing people got to know her her husband was a cardiothoracic surgeon and she introduced me to him and then he he invited me to follow him in the or for doing this for a while and it was just you're at the same time there's something magical about you know for him his. CARDIAC, surgeon. So this is he was a patient who is you know so worried and scared and you're able to be with them in in in in fix it impact his life. So it was just this. Moment or it wasn't like I always wanted to be a doctor but yet it makes so much sense when I heard it and I ended up going to fortunately I. my academic record had a rocking mcat scores and was able to go to. The talk school at least that I had on my list, which was University of Pittsburgh is a very social school interesting where I remember somebody's told me the elevator at at the medical campus and the doors shut. If no one's talking, that's not the place for you to go and I just remember I was doing this elevator tests and people just wanted to chat about whatever it was. It was a really interesting place to be in there. That was really the first time we're technology started. Sort of come into my life I remember. A few of US students set at all levels of the school you know in their first year second year CETERA. We found each other for our love of tackling. We decided to create this this Tech Club where who's GonNa talk about technology and Madison and what was out there. And we're going of quickly realized that the schools tech infrastructure was terrible. This would have been two thousand and two thousand. One maybe something like that and Each each office medical education, and soon affairs they all had different websites none of them talk to each other as a very disjointed experience and we thought wouldn't it be cool to try to rebuild this for the students in getting sanctioned as a committee and that was really one of the I.
Who would replace Kamala Harris as California Senator?
"We still have 12 weeks before the November election, Voters will decide between President Trump on my vice President Mike Pence against former Vice President Joe Biden and current Democratic vice presidential nominee California Senator Kamala Harris. But in Harris are victorious. Governor Newsome will have to appoint a new senator to serve the next two years here in California, and well, there's been early speculation on names like State Attorney General Javier Becerra and San Diego State Senator Toni Atkins. Another elected officials told the governor he's interested. Mayor of Imperial Beach Search, the DEA sent a note to the governor with a picture of him in a business suit with a surfboard and water, nothing his intention to seek the appointments If the Democrats win because Pamela Harris may become our next vice president, I notified Governor Newsome like everyone does not is via Twitter that I'd like to be on the collection left to be the next U. S. Senator put out Open seat. And I think it's important to have someone who's not from the insider circle in Sacramento on someone that's ready to help clean up California and fight for our planet and our ocean from day one. Well and yes, I think it was the announcement that color base attention picture of you in a business suit with your surfboard. Right. The water's edge. Kind of embodying what it means to be from Imperial Beach. Yeah, you know, and you're a bitch, maybe small. What? We're mighty, You know, I've seen the names of some of the more high profile candidates and you know the reality of California's in trouble countries in trouble, And so we need someone who's used to doing things without a lot of resource is gonna support. You could get things done quickly, and that's experience. I've had thereby be in that experience that we need for the next senator from California and as the native Senate, California someone who rested 500 California the lifeguard for the state and for the city of Baby, I'm ready for the job and just look forward to being considered by Governor Newsome. Well, obviously you've worked with the governor, and in fact, you've worked as high as going to the White House when it comes to the sewage issue along the border, with the issues coming out of Mexico to impact San Diego County Imperial Beach, the city of San Diego. Everywhere else here with its impact that profile of yours with that fight has gone to the highest level. Yeah, so you know, unfortunately, because sewage issue is continuing to happen. I ve had to reach out from everybody from the president of Mexico, too. You know, President Trump We've met Got Governor knew someone. The governor of Baja California. So yeah, felt the times were like more like an international diplomat rather than a mare. But that is good practice good experience for what it takes to be an effective senator. To give you credit. Since the minute she was in office, she has support our first queen of the border. She's put a lot of attention on period Beach. In fact, her California director came to Imperial Beach to visit her stop is in very involved in this issue, so she's been great on the tissue as well as Senator Feinstein, but it's time for a new direction and and that's what I'm putting My My name in the hat or handed the ring And you know there is a perception out there at some points where you know, San Diego geographically being where it is. So we feel that the state of times may forget about us or things like that. You know, putting San Diego right back up there and kind of raising our hand and saying, Hey, what about us? Yeah, you know, Right now we have two senators from Northern California from the Bay area, So obviously we need a lot more Southern California repetition and the fact that Southern California needs a lot of help. We've seen that during this covert Christ of some of the highest rates, obviously in the country in Southern California, especially here in South San Diego and along the border, So we're in trouble have the highest rate of unemployment in the state along the borderlands question. Imperial County so We're in trouble. We need to get someone to replace Senator Harris. She gets elected vice president who's fighting for California and every California and not just the ones who can write campaign checks, right? I think that's important to make sure that someone who works for every California In every corner of state and every family and put families and kids first for California
Conversation With Mountain West Commissioner Craig Thompson
"Delighted to welcome. To our program, a very important guests at this unbelievably strange time from the Mountain West Conference Commissioner Craig Thompson Commissioner thank you very very much for making the time I I, I can only imagine what your schedule is like. These days especially Zoom Bill Assuming there is one good afternoon. Paul good to be with you. You know I hope to mode no more about The next ninety minutes to two hours I have a four o'clock board calling five o'clock standing Monday de call, so we all compare notes and Kinda live by that old adage. God gave us two ears and one off for a reason, right? We're trying to learn from each other. Well we appreciate you making time I'm curious before we get down to some of the obvious questions Since, this occurred you. You've been very obviously active in in the NCAA, basketball tournament, having chaired the the men's basketball committee, and it all started there, and and I know in in your many many years is as commissioner. You've experienced so much but How do you? How do you prepare yourself for something like this? which is literally off the charts. Really is and you know again you don't because. no-one there might have been a few people worldwide They'd be well into their hundreds that were around nineteen eighteen. Spanish flu days, but For the most part, nobody's dealt with any of this Paul. So it's all new, and and it's It's disconcerting. It's hard. It's sad, but it's It's life and it's something we. We have to adjust to and and moved from. In as you get closer to what are really critical decisions, other conferences have made these choices many have not What what do you weigh as you're about to go onto? Another call here how how do you determine these things? Well, it's really got to beat a the safety and the health soccer you I think it's simply going to come down to what is the risk tolerance for for all the various groups just within our FBI subdivision and certainly there's. A rank and file and differences between the autonomous five leaks and a group of five leaks, but You've got you've got. A ton of governors. There's fifty state governors in that up BS group, one hundred thirty board of trustees, regions, one hundred thirty university presidents and Chancellors hundred thirty athletic directors under thirty head, football coaches, and I guarantee it dollar on the same page, and so you know we're. We're just trying to adjust on what makes the most sense for my university and ultimately our conferences. And everyone has a different set of circumstances as you said Commissioner Thompson but. It is late I think you know that we all we all know that. As you are about to go on these calls here in the next hour or two How do you start narrowing the window and coming to? Conclusions! Well we all kind of went into that false pretense and hope that fans should be better in July and August and we had time right back in March. We had four months to figure this out when we've got probably less than four weeks. A couple of weeks a big date coming up on Friday with you know the the six week period starting extended team practices, and then most camps opening somewhat in that August seventh time friend I! I had a good exchange with one of our head. Football coaches today saying you know I don't even know what to do. Because of campus regulations and concerns, we have one institution that's had nearly one hundred football players for little over a month. Now Paul and we have another institution that literally has no football players, conditioning of or working out degree, and so you know we're all over the map based on a local and university, muncipality rules and regulations and. I said this for months gone on standby. One of one of the big concerns and focal points for us is the state of California They just announced today that they're going to delay. The start of their prep season suggested until December or January didn't give an exacting, and they join a couple of states that the prep seasons have been canceled altogether one of our states New Mexico, so just just trying to deal with all the nuances and differences in rules, policies and allowances. As you as you try to deal with with some some issues before that certainly, the non-conference issues a lot of non conference. Games have been scrubbed. I. Has that been a major issue for you or Were you in reasonably good shape. Well it is a big issue, and of course years of all years. This is our twenty seven season A. We had more home games against PAC twelve than any time in our previous 21-year-history, we lost home games. Ucla at both. San Diego State ally. Utah, Colorado Washington state calendars on a state. They were GONNA play at the new two billion dollar NFL stadium in Las Vegas against UNLV so a lot of people like to point to that financial loss of losing the the six road at twelve games and a and a guarantee. Those seven home games from from both of financial interest level, and then ultimately you know television perspective CBS. Fox Aren't real thrilled. You know that we lost those seven home games. Talking to the Commissioner of the Mountain West Craig Thompson discussing all the variables. Commissioner. We. We've talked to so many different commissioners over these past few months, and as you as you so eloquently pointed out a minute ago. Everyone has a different set of circumstances and challenges you maybe more than than most because of the geographical aspect. But how do you think and it shouldn't be that hard to think about it since it's not far off? How how do you ultimately come up with what you would say? Good solution, not only for your member institutions, but for the safety of the athletes. Well again. You not to lean on your medical people and that's one of the. Major aspects of this board call coming up in an hour, so Paul because It's the first time that they in a while. They've heard directly from the the medical advisory group and you know they don't depend on them. You know they. They are the experts, will we? The board are economists and Then different walks of life. They're not medical people, per se, and so you know you really have to lean heavily on what makes sense I. I said four months ago and I I contend today. A lot of this is going to be perhaps probably triggered by what happens on our campuses. What they look like in the next month or so you know everybody's either hybrid mostly online You know there's GonNa. Be Certainly people walking around campus, but you know you. You really can't expect to have a college athletics if you don't have a fairly open in some degree. Campus. Commissioner I, it's no secret Wherever conferences are located and and and spread that football pays the majority of the bills there. There's some outliers of course but What's at stake you just from a revenue standpoint? Well you know. Let's all kinds of figures in I I know that A couple of our department said have lost Well in excess of ten million dollars now, and then could jump into without football alum Paul you know double and triple, and you know those are not insignificant numbers. They're smaller than the world. You live in I lived in Atlanta. For four years. New Orleans for twelve years both children born in New Orleans and well versed in an SEC football, and what it means in a walk of life, and so it's different, no question it's different I live in Colorado and and what it's like in Western states, but but none the less. You, do not escape whatever love your Ad. That football is probably that you know eighty eighty five percent of of an athletic budget, and and so it's so very important, but you know as harmful as painful rather as it is from the financial perspective now that cannot be the driving force won't be the driving force. It will be that the health and safety it'll be university decisions. You know I've always. Always felt. The presidents of universities and chances have an extremely difficult position now more so than ever because they're pushed him pulled in and all these different directions and you know I. Don't know how the decision will. Ultimately made would fall looks like from terms of football. I don't know who makes that decision, but Hopefully they'll be some clobbering collective. Let's let's go right to the College Football playoff. Can you even imagine a world where pick a number? Three conferences can play in the fall and seven up to play in the spring. What happens to see a p.? Is there a CFP? Does that make sense to have a CFP? I guess it might depend on those three conferences are and I use. You know you, you're GONNA have to look at this for for the good of everybody, and and you know the collaboration and collective exchange and we've seen conferences. Do things unilaterally I mean as a commissioner. You Work for twelve schools. You don't work for honored thirty FBI schools, and so you're doing what's right, and what's your membership is is directing and advise you to do, but we do have to get together and get the same page in some regards spor for the sake of the CFD for instance and the bowl system. I know at least I'm told in talking to your colleagues commissioners. We wind down. I know you've got a lot of meetings to that. You are a collaborative group. I mean that's a fact. I mean we see that all the time but it but I wonder though. Because we've already seen some some. Some schisms as we had the big ten, and then everyone else said something else I mean the PAC twelve and the big ten, and do you. Are you concerned about the stability of of what you do every day and try to work with everyone else within the framework of college athletics. I am and I'm not I mean again. We try to work together, but at the end of the day our plan for fourteen or ten members, order media have will dictate. What direction are leagues go and I know the NCAA takes a ton of shots, but the NCAA is membership driven. It's schools that are that are ultimately making decisions and the conferences the exact same way, so you know we can compare but I. I am concerned about The postseason college football, the the CFC's a five hundred million dollar enterprise NCAA. Basketball Championship is a six hundred million dollars in a prize number of conferences of two hundred and fifty to three hundred million dollar annual TV, contracts, and and we can't go ten I don't well. Yeah, anything's possible. You could go ten separate ways I. certainly don't think it's going to be that way at the end of the day. Commissioner will let you get back to your meetings, but thank you for making time. It was just a pleasure to to hear your perspective as someone who is so well respected. And revered in this industry we be well and let's hope for some good news. Stay safe yourself my friend.
Jon M. Chu - how the internet changed visibility for Asian Americans
"And if you could ever like yourself as the subject of a story it's like it almost takes a work of imagination to like you know. See that who you are can. Yes object store. I mean I basically grew up in. I think that's part of both my power and my weakness is like. I grew up in an environment in the Silicon Valley in the eighties and the nineties. And so I know that perspective because I grew up in the perspective of like Oh are Asians the other when you're surrounded by it. You are indoctrinated it and so you know what they're thinking and I grew up in a Chinese restaurant as well. So the fears of what people think of you are completely intertwined in your brain and in your heart. I think the Internet changed so much because when I watched youtube video and for instance and dance like I saw how fast the perspective of what Asians are as dancers in the dance world. When I started Asians were known as amazing hip hop dancers. But when I went to those tournaments and these these these conferences whereas they're six thousand Asia American dancers and their amazing hip hop dancers. And that's where they Kaba. Modern was job. Jabotinsky was there. Were all these amazing answers. And the world didn't know about it and in the span of like four or five years everybody knew about it and suddenly it's like. Oh Asians condense. When did you start going to these dance and I went? Let's see my cousin was going to San Diego State. And so she'd be like you have to come see this because you like dance and this is incredible and so. I want to say it was like two thousand six two thousand five. The collaboration or which dance competition was this They Will Aberration Star. Collaboration collaboration but there's also other ones but data for the first time. And that's when I did step up to I was like when I was creating sabotage like crews because I've seen these crews And Job Lock is like the. All Star like they weren't there was no ABC. At the time there was no nobody knew them they had never been filmed before so we got them very very early. But witnessing the shift of people seeing agents dancers and stink. Oh there can be the best. When you see these Korean dancers in those Uniqlo ads or in missy Elliott videos like it changed and I could see how fast that oh it just takes an example. I love that you have always seemed to love dance and music and sort of gravitated towards those areas in your work. Obviously I remember. I went to the set of your web series. You're super can't series the St shooting like a showdown seen in the town true we had. They're kicking us out in fifteen minutes so he just shoot like our whole last episode at fifteen minutes. It was insane. I was I was there. It was pretty great. And you really between that project and the step up movies and the Adam Chu dance crew. Which I'm GonNa make you explain to turn around and the Internet back then but you really seem to to be able to lean into these interests of yours but at the same time create company of talent like Harry Shum Junior. Got So many greats spotlights through your works with him and so many other dancers got on my rematch. Cast Nets smarr. All that stuff was crazy. It was crazy times. How did that like what? What kind of role did that project? First of all. How do you describe it now? Looking back I mean we were early and Youtube. There's two thousand seven two thousand eight. Maybe I don't know maybe two thousand eight nine somewhere around there and basically we had done step up to and Miley Cyrus had watched the movie and so she called our fourteen year old star of that movie atoms. Vanni who played Moose in the movie and left a message. He didn't answer he she him as I loved you in that movie congrats and didn't leave a number and so she's like fifteen or sixteen and he's fourteen. He calls me like. Oh my Gosh Miley Cyrus just called me. Can you get me her number? I'm like a I don't know how to get her now to call her age. He's like Yeah Asia. No I'm not going to do that but she was already had a youtube channel and we had already were thinking. Hey we should do some videos on youtube thing and so I was like she has her best friend. Mandy. Who's a dancer like? Let's challenge them to a dance battle and just challenger and maybe she'll answer because she knows who you are so we got our crew together and made this crazy video challenging her to a dance battle and two days later she answered and she had the biggest youtube channel at the time This is at the height of her sort of power. And when she answered us She got all her celebrity. Friends made it like music video and got included channing. Tatum and Jenna Dewan in their video. Which is kind of a slap in the face to us. We'll man dance battling real though we should. We should resolve more things. Thought those this was west side story digital like this real shit and people online like really got into it. People who hated Miley could be on our side and then people who love it could be on her side and we made another video. After and we pulled out our Rolodex we got like Sandler Lindsay Lohan. We got Chris Brown before the incidence of Diana. Ross Amanda bines before here incidents. We've got a lot of people. And then we got a huge amount of his we've got millions and millions of hits and at that time it was big and so then she answered again with like helicopters and Ryan secret and all these people about this whole thing which I remember it being just so huge but it's kind of an example of growing an Internet age community in a way very very like demonstrably has power. I mean you've also worked with Justin bieber twice and saw how how strong his phantom is. So it's kind of cool to see the Asian American community rally around Craze Rich Asians and that came out not that at all at all related to one another safe. You know all these I mean they are little bit though. That's that's what I wanted to ask about his Asian American dance crews and southern California's. Such a thing you know I went to Ucla. Watch them and it's so cool to kind of hear you talk about how. Yeah Yeah I mean I you know. And Jabber walkies like weren't they on like America's best dance crew or something like that but that was that was when like the world got to know them but before that they were in ACDC dance crew before they were actually as during while they were on there. They were in step up before they were ever On match you put you put the Jabber walkies on the map that you represented elsewhere. We film them for those for sure. I had already made my first studio movie and yet I still felt like when I would watch youtube. This is like energy and I reminded myself that. I didn't have to ask permission for anything like I could have a camera. I know how to edit and I ended all the. Are you to battle videos? I didn't have to answer to anybody. And that's an amazing confidence builder and powerful thing to know that you have at your fingertips and you can have millions of people watching it tomorrow. Not next week. When a marketing company goes not with the press release like just releasing it. There was a big lesson to me during that time knowing that I have no excuses not to make stuff at any moment that I wanna make

Food For Thought: The Julia Child Episode
"Yes I taught English in history in Vista California for twenty two years damn near killed me but this young woman here Emily Myers. He came down here with me. Was My student fifteen years ago and I was a big grammar teacher because I went to Catholic school right. So we're doing this grammar exercising. It said Julia Child Comma the French Chef Comma and whatever else to sentence said and so I said to the students this is what two thousand four ish and I said so Julia. You all know who Julia. Child is the seventh grade. I got these blank. Looks let me tell you about Julia. Child told them the whole story about who she was and the French chef and how she was fifty years old when she first started. I was forty when I was became a teacher. And so this that and the other and then I told them the story about how nineteen eighty nine. I was a stay at home. Mom I had my two kids Cayden Matthew who were six and four. No six and two and Julia child came to town to the to Warwick's books to her book signing of the the way to cook her last book that she wrote on her own and I said I have to go see her. I have to meet her. I just have to do this. In the meantime as the stay at home mom was getting bored so I started making English muffins and if local but you know the Panikin isolating the Sh- muffins to the panicking because the guy who used to own the Panikin road motorcycles with my then husband and one day he came over for what they called the Prince of Norton Prints of darkness motorcycle. Ride and Chili Cook Up. You can tell which part I was in that and and I said Hey bob you wanNA try some English Muffins. And Hey say. He had one with my homemade strawberry jam on it. And he's these are great and I said good. Do you want to buy some because I need to do something out of the home and make some money and he said so to gross a week from my little kitchen when I was living by San Diego State. It was hilarious so this is when I was still doing that so I got the babysitter for the baby. Matthew because he was too he would never have known the difference and I took Kate with me now. Kate was six and so she'd been watching with videotapes at that point Julia. Did something called the way to cook. She did a series of videotapes. Kate and I would watch them. Kate's birthday cake. Every year was the classical. Jen was with the whip cream and the strawberries on it and so I took with me because I walked in Julia. I know by the way I made her a dozen English. Muffins packed them up in a box wrote her. A letter. Dear Julia. You are the one who taught me how to cook. My mother thought she did but she didn't. You're the one who really did with your show. Julia Child and company and Julia Child and more company. I've learned everything I've known from. You saw there. She is. She walks in. Cates going. Momma and I know I know she's here so we get in the line in the line and the you know they always have the helpers with them when they're big like that I don't mean in stature I mean you know and so the lady and I said I said here's a spock's English muffins in it. I made them pro. Have this little business so she. It's my turn. She hands the box. Julia is working out. She did this. She took her. She's she. I was looking in her eyes and she was sitting down because she really was too. She's banging on the box. Oh goody goody gumdrops homemade English muffins she's really did say that it was so funny and I said yes and she's and I told her that I was making them. Well I guess profession getting paid for it so I guess that makes it a profession right and she said I'm so she got very serious. I'm so glad you're doing this. We need more cottage industry like this. She said English muffins she said to me. How do you get them to cook so that they're cooked all the way through and not burn on the outside? I'm going Julia. Child is asking me how to do this. And then I remembered her recipe didn't work. This was not her recipe. This was from a jam book called Jam. Shame or something like that and I said Yeah. That is the secret. Isn't it and I told her how I did it. And it was all about rolling it around in a bowl of corn meal and I said like you had taught me on one of your shows about cornmeal being like a ball bearing and she said I never really thought about that and she was unbelievable. I couldn't believe it. So we're in the store and she signs the book and she didn't sign much of anything. Good luck or whatever and then. Kate neier lurking around the store watching her some more and she oh and you should have seen you know how mom's right so this kid of mine is six years old. She's just standing there looking at her and Julia said some things to. I can't remember what it was but it was really cute. So okay fast forward. It's two thousand ten. I'm on what I called my odyssey because I decided being teacher. I need to take some time off during the summer. Actually do something and not stand at the Xerox Machine. Getting Ready for the next school year. Merola grammar packets. Remember those and I took off. I went on this Odyssey. I went up to Portland just to go to Powell's books because I needed more cookbooks. Right to add to that four thousand collection and so I'm coming back. It's twenty in my little. Volkswagen Cabriolet with the top down and Bonnie Raitt blasting. Having a great time end. The car dies on the side on the side of the road. I got I two tires off the road. That was it and I'm talking about on this very near. Oh I was four miles north of point arena which is two hundred and fifty miles north of San Francisco on the one and not the one. Oh one the one the one the ones the one that goes like this and you can only drive twenty five miles an hour thankfully so I've got my two tires off on the side of the road and some guy comes turns around takes his truck and pushes me the rest of the way off the road and I was a little nervous about that. Call whoever the tow truck comes. I'm taking pictures of the tow truck. Taking my car away they take me down to point arena. I was on my way to that. Lighthouse also lighthouses and now. I'm stuck there for a week because I don't know if I can say this. But what does the industry in Humboldt county growing exactly so the town of point arena about five blocks long? The entire town is stoned. Looks like you can see smoke through the whole thing so he kept my car for a week. Never fixed it. Charge me a thousand dollars. Never fixed it he he had it towed to Healdsburg where his brother fixed it for another thousand dollars. That's another story anyway. So I put it up on facebook. The picture of my car being towed and one of my friends called and he said. I love point arena. You have to meet the Jam Lady. I said okay. Well I'll meet the family so I walk a mile down the road because I don't have a car turn right and there's a sign the Jam Lady. Her real name is Lisa Joa committees. She calls herself Jam Lady. She makes jam in point arena. Sends it all over the place? I went inches a full kitchen like that. One all stainless steel really professional. That we start talking Blah Blah Blah. She Says Yeah. I used to work for Barbara Tropic. China Moon Cafe and I said Oh my God I love her. She figured she'd Cook. My dinner sometime before I was like. Oh my God. This is amazing. She says I told her the Julia Child Story. Oh I forgot to tell you part of it. She wrote me a letter. She answered my little note that I had scrawled on a little tiny legal piece of paper. She wrote me a letter. Julia Child wrote Miller. I have evidence and so I read. I wrote back to her. She wrote me again. I still owe a letter. I don't know why I never finished that. So I'm telling this story to Lisa The lady. She says wait right here. Okay what's going on here? I mean this really weird place she disappeared. Disappears upstairs comes down with a box opens the box? She has a dozen flutes. Champagne flutes. Julius ninetieth birthday party she says you need. These gave me two of them. Doesn't that amazing I just went? I'm a total stranger and you she said we're not strangers. She said you have to have these. They have to be yours and size. Okay thank you thank you. We wrapped in very carefully. They got home even through the bumpy. Healdsburg thing and so then on her hundredth birthday. And I'm not sure what I think that was. I don't remember what year it was on her hundredth birthday. I was home from school that day. I think in August I was home legally and I cooked everything just all Julia Child and I called one of my friends. I said come on over. We use the Julia Child flutes. We had a little split of champagne. We toasted her. I put it all up on facebook. It was amazing and now it's so funny. I have those glasses there in my glass cabinet. But they're hidden in the back and my son in law was here in February and he went to reach for that to put for his champagne. I said Oh no look what that says on it. He says Julia Child's ninetieth birthday. I said you don't use those. You don't appreciate that. This is Julia Child. I mean come on so that is my Julia Child Story. I Love Her love her the day that she died. My daughter was about twenty. I think she called me just limit on her own. She called me says mom have really bad news. What does this in an accident? She says Julia died today and it was as if her her grandmother had. My mother had died. You know we were so cried on the phone and you know who's better than Julia Child

"Yeah I I don't get it either. I hear what you're saying. Yeah so there's that and then on. Baylor two thousand twenty being one of the best teams that they've ever played perhaps the best thing they've ever played since he's been in the big twelve. I think the other teams you brought up with last season's Texas Tech and two thousand Oklahoma state which was an awesome team. They all and big and strong. I remember two thousand and four. I was the Memphis beat writer at the Commercial Appeal newspaper. And that's Memphis had to play in the second round of the incident. Play tournaments. I was. I saw it team up close and they just whip them. I mean just absolutely made them look like a high school team. It was Tony Allen Grizzly. And My home. Eta Joey Gr- the Graham brothers. John Lucas Ivan McFarland. Like that team was awesome. And the idea that bill would put this Baylor team in that class. And I'm with you. I don't think it's lip service. I think he he knows what he's and I thought all of bills postgame stuff was interesting. He said listen we. We won the game here. We beat them awesome. But we didn't control this game. Nearly as well as they can they controlled us when we were plated inside Allen fieldhouse like they beat us. They're better than we beat them. Here he was real complimentary. This Baylor team and I think it's because he knows that he might have the best team in the country but he knows if he does that might be the second best team in the country and it could be vice versa. I yeah they they are really right there and I'll note fan base showed well They they didn't get the full Game Day experience because Game Day was bumped up right against the start of the game. But they were they were revved in going man just a big time game instead of a smaller like ten and change that place holds territorial arena but it was it was really really good like a great great on TV a little TV. All the better than yeah. No it was fantastic and I had a number of people. Just come up and say yeah. It's just it's never like this and it's ever been as good as it is right here. Scott drew I did sit down with him the day before. Prep for the game but just kind of other stuff to do a story. Assume on him Once we get to March and Baylor's seated well and he is credited Scott and just he was loose thrilled. You know you get an opportunity like this and if you opt to Kinda just grip a little bit focus in. I totally get it. But that was not the program they just you know. Game Day was obviously in town as well and they. They fully embraced the opportunity. And I think that was great. I don't think it cost him the game. You don't know the next time you're ever going to be in a situation like this if you're the Baylor men's basketball program. If you're the women sure Kim Mulkey the fastest six hundred wins ever in Division One basketball period and so there's a certain standard there that they're meeting on an almost every year basis. Baylor has been good. It was ranked number one just a few years ago. It's made a couple of dates but you don't know the next time that you will be number one and hosting another top five team so credit to the school that coaching staff Athletic Director. All them for really stepping up and providing a heck of a heck of a game I did want to ask you this parish so for me like wake up. You're there you're right like it was. It was good. But what did you like it in the moment because we talked on the Friday pot? Oh it's great you got Gonzaga. Byu End of the day. You got cans. Baylor started the day. We almost never get this kind of thing within the rhythm of Saturday like did you. Did you like what college basketball provided to a national audience to get the rare MUSC- five matchup that earlier. Do you think it would have been better served if it was a middle afternoon early evening. The only reason why I ask you this is when I saw bill self get to shoot around on Friday. He was excited and knew what was good for college hoops. But if it was just later on you know it might be even better if you put it in the evening. The reason they couldn't do that with the women had a game later in the day and they couldn't move it but I just wondered from from the couch how it all played out to you and As you took the day in well. If I'm being honest I was on. Cbs Sports HQ. For like five hours. I stared into a camera for five hours. But it didn't know undeniably. It would have been a big deal if it were in primetime or maybe not even primetime like if it just started at six eastern five eastern just later in the day I think it would have been there would have been more of a build up. You know people sort of live in the moment like you and I we. It's our job. We live this stuff every minute of every day. Most people you you you don't you don't look pretty if you're not a baylor fan or a Kansas Fan or Harper College Basketball Fan. You're not sitting around on Thursday going. Ooh I can't wait for Saturday because it's number one against number three like you might not even know that that's happening in sport of college basketball and so if that game would have been. Let's just say tipping off. At six eastern people would have been watching other games all day long and they would have been constantly hearing about this game. It's number one against number three. It's a twenty three game winning streak against the Kansas Jayhawks would have been the build up on the day of would have made it feel like a bigger thing and so i. I think that that's true but you know it is what it is you know when they schedule that game at eleven. Am central time. There's no reason to think it's going to be number one against number. Three and number one is Baylor on a twenty three game winning streak. Nope yeah so it. It is what it is but I do think I personally enjoy it because it's like okay. Wake up top. Twenty five and one's filed. We got big. Time Basketball Games starting. Let's go but do I think we could have brought in more casual fans if the game were later in the day. Of course I hear you. I loved it being that early. And it's also a great thing as you know like when you get an early game and then Just in terms of writing when you got to write off of it You get that done now. I happen to just. I flew back Late Saturday night to get back home. You know. Get a night in in your own bed. You're going to do that but from Waco back to NYC. I so what we did was we drove so you can do a number of ways but I wanted to direct so we drove. I flew Dallas and then Liz Edwards whose HQ producer. Who was there with me? Did Wonderful Job The entire weekend. She's great by the legitimately great legitimately great. And what I love about her. Let me tell you what. I love about liquid. She doesn't really know these college basketball coaches like so. She's not starstruck or intimidated. She'll see Mike. Francesca and she'll be like is that. Is that Mike and you go. Yes Coach K. Right and you're like yeah coach case. He's like all right. I'm GonNa work on this like she's really a like her job is to get things done. And she has no hurdles right her in whatever she's trying to get done and then she she's on time she is She's she just great and I love we were at CBS Sports Classic. And we were supposed to be getting the Kansas people the Kansas people. We supposed to get in bill south and she had got over there earlier than I because I had to go do something else. I I'M GONNA go there set up and figure out what we're GONNA do and where we're going to do it by time. I got over there. She just she's already like okay so talk to do you. Know Curtis Curtis towns. And she's like yeah. I talked to Kurt. It's so what are you doing targeted courtesy but like she saw somebody Kansas shirt. So that's the person who's going to talk to? She's terrific continue. She is great and she was. She was the one that took the reins around the car so flew into Dallas. And that's about an hour. Forty five to two hours depending on Your time of Day drove down to Waco and eight at Magnolia table shafts to chip and Joanna. They legitimately great spot. They're amazing breakfast. And it was just ending the biscuits shouts to the people. There that was awesome. And actually that was like header. Family members like wanting photos and sending texts. Because it like a whole a whole big deal and So that was good time so then yeah we drove back back to Dallas. After on on Saturday afternoon then I got the direct from Laguardia to Laguardia. And we don't need to make it a whole thing on the podcast that Texas you in the group chat but the the ride service situation at Laguardia is an abomination. And I don't understand how it's even legal parish knows this because he's going to live it again on Monday night when he lands at. Lga You are walking a half mile to a full mile. Dodging traffic going through parking. Garages going up. Garages trying to guess which car it's going to be. It's New York so it's not a typical lifted uber situation. All of them are black. You don't know which one's yours. You gotta read the license plate in the same different combination of sixteen different digits or letters there. It's just absurd and when you land and it's late and you just want to get home and they're like you need to go downstairs then walk outside then over the crosswalk then walk over to that parking garage then go up the garage. Then Walk to the other side. It's it can't be the only airport where this is the case so I had to. I had to get it off my chest eventually I did get. I've been living that every Monday for years now they CBS CBS sports network. They have a car service for us. It's Blue Line so blue line car service. They'll come pick us up and that's the way it's been for years but sometimes my flights delayed my flights late. Sometimes I get to the airport and I want to sit down and work at the airport because I'll just go into the land and go to the Delta Sky Club and like I'll just work there before I go into Manhattan and and get to my hotel so I decided this season like. Listen I appreciate you guys get in the car for me but it probably costs three hundred dollars and I can get uber for sixty and I also would rather have the freedom of getting a car whenever I wanted as opposed to a car waiting on me. 'cause sometimes at land and I don't WanNa leave the airport immediately. I WANNA landed in work and so season I said listen. Just forget the car service and I'll I'll uber from the airport to to my hotel. It's not a big deal like who who do I think I am. And so they're like cool and so now. I have to do what you do every Monday. And.

Ryan park itself is out of the tackle but it's another first down for the Aztecs again nothing fancy without play quarterback just reverse proof it's hats off to the running back coming down the hill but you know if you could pick up five six charge a Kerry as an offense anybody would live with that kind of garbage line of scrimmage the Aggies thirty eight yard line. as the rain has ceased. I think Agnew with it and I formation. and the back is a blocking back they push the date back and it's bird bird across the thirty five to the thirty four. he gains for yards and after that game he stopped by Shimada Lomax second down at six for San Diego state power run and they like that toss play Jack coming to the short side of the field so if they're on the side of the field with the hatch mark and they do that tossed where they're really just trying to get to the numbers and and pounded door north and south Jordan bird averaging. the whole team is averaging six point four yards per carry thank you Tom. don banks informant is six yards plus per carry for San Diego state it's second down and six. and their kids is the ball the bell bell across the thirty twenty five to twenty in bell.

"Real quickly, and we'll start game one fifteen. One. Sixteen northern Illinois takes on eastern Michigan eastern Michigan up to three and a half point favorite here in this game in eastern Michigan's played very well. Here the last three weeks. They beat Purdue played buffalo tough. That was a game that probably could have gone either way down the wire there. Then of course, played San Diego State, extremely tough in a very unique travel situation for northern Illinois though. I mean, they've played Iowa Utah in Florida state and Florida state's not a good team. This season. There's still a lot more talented than northern Illinois. So this is a very intriguing game to me and you get some of these in week four week five weeks. Six where you've got some pretty noticeable strength of schedule differences. What do you think about this game? Brian. And what do you think about the line move going up from three to three and a half. I can understand it. I've been higher on northern Illinois. I came into the season. I thought they were the best team in the back. And obviously as this point, I'm wrong, but things could change. And once you get into contact and they are wondering all conference, they ended up beating central Michigan did not cover in that game. But when you take a look at successful play rate in those games that northern Iowa played, they had thirty four point, eight percent offense of success against Iowa only allowed thirty two point eight. So they actually played very well in that game, Utah. They lost thirty seven point one to thirty four point two. So in those first two games, they actually played really well didn't show up on the scoreboard. Part of that when they played, I with the loss of turnover battle, and then they lost the sack battle five to one which is why they lost by twenty six points. But when they go in and they played central Michigan and Florida state the last two weeks, the offense has actually gotten worse on the defenses is been basically the same. So northern Illinois is all about the defense if they. Can they can slow down this eastern Michigan team. They can compete in this game and and eastern Michigan other than the game when they played buffalo, which were they were close to league average, and they had a thirty three point nine against Purdue thirty four point nine against San Diego State. Those are two teams. They didn't move the ball very well against, but you know, they were able to able to play pretty well and get the get the victory against Purdue and go to overtime against San Diego State. I'll be honest, I have sandiego stay in that game. I thought that was a terrible situation for eastern Michigan. Third straight Rogaine have to travel all the way to the west coast. They hadn't played in the Pacific time zone and at least twenty years and they lose turnover battle in still cover that game. That was an impressive game against San Diego State. But now after three straight road games, they got fly all the way back home to northern and to face northern Illinois, then go back on the road and play western Michigan. So the schedule's definitely better for northern Illinois who was actually in the middle of the three game road trip. This is the second game, Florida state. Eastern Michigan, then boss, they, I don't trust northern Illinois, and that's this point enough to play them because they'd offense on f Lutely nothing, but I won't be on eastern Michigan because of the travel and the situation that they are in this is going to be one of those games that I'll be just sitting out. Well, move one spot down on the board here game one seventeen one eighteen that's Kent state and ball state, Kent state plus seven and a half in this pretty much the consensus number out there market wide a couple of places showing seven with extra juice. I don't know what to think about this game. Brian. I will say that from a power hitting standpoint, I grabbed Kent state at the open. We'll see how that ends up playing out for me here, but the big takeaway for me in this game isn't I think ball state has been a significant disappointment so far. They have. But if you take a look at the MAC is all. Excuse me as a whole, the whole conference has been a disappointment..

"I think ended up covering this game. I n b. Toledo forty nine twenty four. I got that UC in Texas game completely wrong, Texas. One that thirty seven fourteen I know all the texts fans or anything. Oh yeah. This finally going to be a good year. No, it's not. Texas still isn't good. Zona state versus San Diego State, Ron, San Diego State one that win twenty eight to twenty one of course, with Arizona state beating Michigan state. It's only right that they drop a game against lesser team and San Diego State of for the games that were cancelled due to hurt the hurricane. It was UCF North Carolina, Virginia versus NC state. And then Virginia Tech versus East Carolina. That's what happened this weekend in college football. Is there anything else I'm currently missing before we move onto the NFL. Let's take a look and see before we talk about, tonight's Monday night football game. Like I said, Josh Gordon traded to the patriots four fifth round pick. I mean, Tom Brady gets yet again another weapon, and I see a lot of people are comparing Josh Gordon, Randy moss. Let's pump the brakes. I don't understand why people try to act like Randy moss off the field problems while he was in the NFL. I know he did have problems while he was in college and before he went to college. But as far as off the field stuff in the NFL unless I'm just completely forgetting something. I don't think he was really that much of a problem. Antonio Brown was tweeted at by Steelers fan about how Ben Rothlisberger makes him and he wouldn't be as good. So Antonio Brown, quote tweets, that and basically says trade me and let's find out. I mean. It's not very going, very good over there. Still city isn't definitely not that team needs Levy on bell at. It's not a secret anymore, and I will never. I don't understand Steeler of why they're so for the team and all that. Why they'll never before the players. I mean, it's ridiculous. Let's see. John Gruden says he has no regrets about the Khalil Mack trait, even though he's been telling us after each week how they need to put more pressure on the quarterback and he's not sure how they do that. I mean, that's ridiculous. Saying Allah's is out in Cleveland. They signed Greg Joseph who was cut by the Miami Dolphins after the preseason. So let's talk about briefly this Monday night football game. Now we got Seattle heading over to Chicago Chicago, four point favorites. I'm gonna go Seattle in this one. Chicago scared. We in that last game against Green Bay. I mean, the way they completely shut down in the second half was not encouraging at all. And I just think that when you got Russell Wilson, Pete Carroll both top five at what they do, I think always keep you in games, pledge. Trubisky has this problem wherever everyone says he can't throw left. We'll see what he does. You're either way. I like the Seahawks. I think they will becoming away with the wind. So that's all I gotta say for today's show today we talk ineligible g again, they retained for coming on. Talk that also talk Floyd versus Mandy pack GIO. Second segment, I talked NFL games over on Sunday. Third say, when I talk them, we'll be news. And then for the fourth segment, which was this segment gave my pick for tonight's game. Gave these scores for this week, its college football games and talked about Dwayne Wade briefly. So they explicit into the sports podcast. As always, I am your host Jesse top here. I will be back tomorrow. So stay tuned, and I will talk to you guys later..

"Is here to tell you about d-box Rockies game. But also dessert. That's true. What I mean as long as the ball's gonna leave the yard, you might as well get some toppings with Dr. Take the peppermint over the. Near the frozen yogurt stand. You learn something every day. I know idea that a froyo stand out there in left field. The ball went so far. That's exactly where it ended up and guess what the d backs. They're not going very far right now at all after having lost ten out of thirteen very difficult circumstance right now, but we still have a chance of crazier. Things have happened in this game September has become the new may basically as they've been struggling. They're four and a half back with fifteen to play on the schedule is not easy there at Houston five o'clock in ESPN, six twenty a m speak in not easy. How? Cardinals needed. Come off the ball at the ram a little salty right now, we're a little salty. So we have to come out prepared to play at his Al Holcomb you quarter. Remember if you start to history says you have an eight percent chance of making the playoffs. So the urgency is air. Andy Dalton four touchdown passes three day. Jay green Bengals are two. And they beat the ravens thirty four twenty three ASU at San Diego State. There are no letdown. Manny. I'm not allow without amount with this football team to be complacent. We work way to hard to get to where we are. We work way to hard to get to where we can go that's going to be interesting seven thirty. When was the last time the Sunday with three in your head? You're violated the golden rule. Don't ask me something. I don't know for sure I will say The Danny Gonzalez's defense as much better than what we've seen. It's actually a sound reliable defense, and it's his old team San Diego State. So that's a great storyline. Oliver ackman Larson named Kyrie's captain, and that is sports Paul N KTAR news. Right.

"Coffee nap. It's all happening. ASU is a three point road favorite. Now. What happened last week? Well, Arizona state big home. Win in the desert in the heat over Michigan state, they've got a big game next week on the road against Washington. Daniel look at this game and tell me it is not a letdown look ahead sandwich. I'm so hungry so hungry. So not only is it a letdown look ahead spot? I think we've also got a double home dog spot. Dog of the week and what the hell while we're here. Let's let's complete the holy trinity, lock up San Diego State. You're locking up San Diego states? Yes. Okay. I I disagree. Okay. So this is a perfect spot for San Diego State to win. Yes. San Diego State is down there. Starting quarterback there backup quarterback through two picks against sex state last week. Yes. He made some nice passes granted, but was not the most consistent option last week freshman. The playing like a crumbling NFL stadium still. ASU has been, I think, surprise a revelation. We knew they had a couple of really strong pieces on defense, but what they did to Michigan state last week, even what they did to UTSA is another taking care of business relation, their coordinator, their new coordinator, obviously under her med words, Dante Gonzales who was the defensive coordinator. Cindy, go state last year. I think there are certain advantages that supersede Noah law of letdown look ahead Innis Allah g. So I'm taking Arezzo state here. I just am. I am so worried about the San Diego State offense being napped against the sun devil defense. It's not it's. I mean, how far away is from Phoenix from San Diego. It's like a half hour flights, not bad. So I am rolling with the sun devils. I submit to you my Herm paper. Sorry. I apologize. I'm trying to figure out how to take that back in life. ASU Windsor by couple touchdowns. Seven thirteen. Yeah. Let me what we one of us has to pick sandiego state here just to stay on brand. So San Diego State gave up two hundred twenty. Some odd yards to JJ are alight side, which is which is how you pronounce it, right, correct. I'm now you now the universe is like we hear you San Diego State. Also, here's the keel. Hairy. Also. So sorry about that. I gotta do it. I don't care if I'm wrong. Okay. There's a lot in favor of San Diego State here on a state, lock it up. What. What..

Paul throw the ball, no Khalil Tate and Bryce lever both fading for many lists, but but in as you you, you do the Friday night show you to the salary is still you guys do a lot of useless information things like who's in the Heisman race. Well, I see. I see your show at five in the morning. And I asked Jesse Palmer Sundays at the same show that was on live. He said, I have no idea. I'm not awake because because Galloway never stopped talking. Accurate on all counts, but for thirsty, third time in this conversation, I'm almost I feel like I'm on a game show. I'm gonna ask you to repeat the question, but I don't really know what the answer there is an end because you, he's got a pretty good situation out there, but but someone is isn't easy punching bag right now for whatever reason. It's not luck. Not a good school to coach. I don't know what you want me to say. I great place. Herm Edwards to rank now on the road, San Diego State, hey, Paul last year UCF the self proclaimed national champions. They were the one they with a group of five team that was telling everybody who would listen that they belong to. The playoff Boise state has that opportunity this week, instill water against Oklahoma state. Is there enough for Boise state to kind of raise their flag is, hey, we're going to be the outsider this year. That makes a mess for everybody. I don't want to be an elitist because I'm not. I'm just Joe just Joe schmo like like you guys are, but they're not going to be able to make that claim. Boise had its window back ten, eleven in the day, but I just don't think beating Oklahoma state is going to quite do it for me. I mean, what other respect? What's Oklahoma state? I mean, how many, how many big time events that they choked away in recent years? Like last year. Yeah, I suppose it's for point. It's just interesting in the big twelve overall Paul jaw polish their end. I was just thinking for second, Mike, Mike, Gundy in your fantasy coach Lee was odd, right? It was like you just said something so offensive. I just love Mason Rudolph so attached to the team that the big twelve anymore. Buddies, Jack, Josh fields guy back there. I look at the big twelve Paul. I just feel like they're literally it's Oklahoma, everybody else. There's really, there's I feel awful say was, but there's no reason to even care about the rest of these teams show Sooners well, TCU has at least a three and a half hour window Saturday night to make a claim or make it worse, which I think we both or all three of us know which way it's going to go. I think it's awesome. You think he's going to be three and a half hours. It's probably be four and a half hours, hey, Paul, did you convince them to build? Is that Paul finebaum sat known work? Okay, little little secret. This is Stephen a Smith studio, and I've been able to hijack it today. I'm usually almost even and I'm disappointed that I'm not that's an evident for the course. We're here doesn't show in the south. The idea of sitting with Stephen eight writer, right? Right outside the Brooklyn Bridge is a big time deal as opposed to doing yet another talkback with Matt berry and Edinburgh in Bristol. Have you ever turned down in every like maybe Polly. Have you done the interview and they felt the actual host wasn't in and either either decision? Embarrassing job in the near the they wouldn't ask you back again or you just actually I'm unavailable. If the main host is not that I'm not going to be you're feeling well. Yeah, a man. I had a conversation privately about this the other day which I can't reveal the air, but you'll get a good chuckle out of it when you leave at and then. But I mean it's like it's like, you know, three years ago going to see Hamilton on Broadway, ladies and gentlemen, maranda will not be here tonight. Hike. Joe Jones is playing. Giving him give me my three thousand bucks back that I just bought from scalper outside and Paul. So so we like now that coast to coast spent sports centres back like you're obligated to be on that now, aren't you?.

"Otherwise, I may have to start dropping them a little bit. Yeah, I agree. I agree with you on that. And I also think that you know, from the fan pilots tried to bring up the totals just about every game. 'cause I certainly think that's my biggest strength. You know this, this number is going to be a really high number. So how high does it have to be to play the under this hard under to play based on how the offense is at have been so far in the season. But you know if this number gets up in the, you know, seventy point range or something like that, it'd be hard to not at least consider the Onder. Boise state doesn't play very fast. Oklahoma state will play fast and both defensive lines are good. You know, both teams have played really bad defenses in general so far which is made their numbers look even better. So depending on how high this number is might look the play the under. There's one more game I wanted to talk about here game two, nine to ten airs on a state and San Diego State, and there's no line out for this game. First of all, do you know why there's no lineup for this game? Who's hurt. Christian Trotman for San Diego State or. Okay, what are the chances he plays? I don't think he's gonna play, but you know, he hasn't really been very good anyway. So I don't know how big a step down. It would be their quarterback. All right. So this is one of those games I think is interesting for a variety of different reasons, Arizona state to know and state the team. I've had to move up into my power ratings Herm Edwards, certainly silencing some critics a little bit here, but that being said, you know, you look at their win last week over Michigan state, and I think it's perfectly fair to ask the question. How good is Michigan state. They struggled with Utah state, and he did very little offensively here in this game in the desert. Then you look at San Diego State? Yeah, they didn't play very well in week. One against Stanford, Stanford threw the ball around the yard on them. Then Stanford goes in suffocates dominates USC last week. This is one of those interesting perception battles because sending a state fellow a little bit with how they played against Stanford, Arizona state will get a bump and deservedly. So I guess for beating Michigan state, but I don't know how good Sparty is. I know Stanford's pretty good. I tough game to line whether Chapman plays or not. It looks like there's a couple numbers out there that are Arezzo state minus three, three, and a half. I think that's probably a little bit too high. Even with upgrading, Eric faded decent amount. San Diego thinks defense is solid, San Diego State really dominated the first half against Stanford Stanford. I was very fortunate to be winning in that one. The other thing that's really important here. This is an interesting matchup because San Diego State defensive coordinator from asked to your followers is now Arizona safety coordinator. So they're both trying to run that same unique defense that rocky on. It's always rained, I think that makes us a really interesting game. I think that that makes me look to if anything take the under in this game. But it certainly always interesting when you have a coach going against his previous team and two guys to defenses running a scheme that is very unique. You know, it's not seen very often. So I, I think the is could have the advantage here. I think Michigan state plate not the not to lose weight in that game against areas in the state. They got really buttoned up and had a lead there. Arizona state was not playing well on offense at all. Most of that game Wilkins was struggling quite a bit, but you know, they have some really counted receivers, air state mceal is nico- hairy, just a tremendous tremendous player on the outside. He made some big plays there in the second half, Michigan state to me was not very impressive in that game. We'll see what they do going forward, but had to downgrade them little bit in my PR to me, you know, we'll see what happens with this line, but I think that you know, Christian chatman has not been good enough at quarterback for or for San Diego State that I would want to downgrade them very much at all. Chatman has been manager who who is not really shown..

"So but but yeah, I had that same sense and I don't really know how to put my finger on it. I guess we'll just keep watching. I do want the last thing in this. Adam, you touch briefly on Stanford, and I feel like we should. Acknowledge the fact that I- Bryce love was completely bobbled up by San Diego State Friday night, of course, at the expense of everything else. And. It became obvious to everyone except the David Shaw that. San Diego State was putting thirteen people in the box for entire first half and in the second half. Stanford threw the ball JJ Sega, Whiteside just stupid numbers. You know, in single coverage, six catches two hundred and twenty something yards. Three touchdowns. So we've learned that Stanford is two dimensional on offense. For the first time, probably since Kevin HOGAN was the quarterback three years ago. But with that SC game coming up, we're going to talk about that game a lot more as the week goes. But. Any large concern Ryan about Bryce love? Well, first of all, Josh. I need you to verify this. I believe somebody on this show said that don't be surprised at the San Diego State running backs at written bargain. Is this just me being creepy about San Diego, say running backs or did I not say? Do you believe that. But you can still also be creepy about it. I'm not right now. So I have to go back and point that out occasionally when I am. But no, I think you're right. I think that you know. We try not to put too much on this opening weekend for the Pac twelve is a conference. But the reality is that we talked about Washington in the playoff, and we talked about Bryce love getting his husband campaign started, and that's not what it's about. Understand. It's about Stanford football games and they figured out how to do that, but there is some concern but but there's not as much concern as maybe there would be because of what you're talking about there are, there are multiple dimensions to the offense. Now, I think it would have been a lot more concerned about this year ago. Certainly two years ago and the fact that they were able to find another way, but that being said San Diego State upfront. Utah. USC, whomever take your pick their little bit bigger and stronger on the San Diego State. So there is concern, but there's also a safety valve which I don't think that they had as you said since HOGAN was there. Okay. Since you brought up your accurate prediction about John Washington in San Diego State, we should give a shout out to Peter burns, who predicted. Ole miss Texas Tech would be under the seventy five point over under the final score was forty seven to twenty seven, which is seventy four. So Peter burns on the Friday show, knock it out of the park. I don't. Why did you Peterson plenty to brag about it this weekend? Because I can see him now rotten work and listen to that. And beating on the steering wheel and screaming. Yes. And now we'll all get a group text. Well, he did send me twenty dollars to say that and. That's what Ben is four. In my opinion. When we come back, we will get to your walk on questions are extra points,.

"Summer with World Cup coverage and fubo TV which is one of the streaming services. We'll talk about it a little bit more in a bit. It's one of the MVP dis which is a multichannel video programming distributor. That's the direct TV now and sling TV's of the world. They are bringing college football to four k. they're going to be available Fridays match between Cindy, go state and Stanford as well as September eighth game with western Michigan against Michigan, and then a September fifteenth contest between Fresno state and UCLA. All will be streamed to fubo TV users in four k. HD are ten. Oh, so, and I'll have my gigabit internet by then that might work out. Good for me. I notice a lot of these teams are not. So you got Stanford which has got a great name recognition, a recognition, San Diego State. Then you got western Michigan against Michigan. Again, Michigan has the name recognition than you got UCLA against Fresno state's those kind of interesting that they didn't have like a marquee were. Both teams are like huge. I'm curious if they did that to try and limit the the stream. Oh, that's an interesting point. Yeah, maybe. 'cause I think about it, not hard. Yeah, right. Notre Dame opens up against Michigan the Saturday. I'm very excited about that. If that was done for, you know, there would be a huge strain on the stream because huge Notre Dame following huge Michigan following, but you know, you get a team like Fresno state and my wife went to Fresno Sates. No disrespect to them, but they just don't have the TV following that even UCLA even UCLA's not as big as Michigan or Stanford. Right? But had that been like USC UCLA game? Yes, that would have been been huge. So all right. In also related to that a fubo TV users.

"What? Asset down it was nineteen eighty seven, and this was a nickel table. I would also point out that on Friday central. We have a game by the way that everybody thinks that like Stanford's going to win and I'm not. I'm not real sure wait who says, who thinks they lost this game last year they did, but they're favored again. Well, Rashaad pennies, not non native state anymore. Like that matters. I know which teams does. No, I know which one double digits in terms of wins over the past three years. And I know which team has a habit of stumbling out of the gate slow. 'cause they're studying Stanford. Stanford always starts low, San Diego State. Don't play that studying shit. No, no, no, no. Did you know what stands you know what they've been doing watching film and vaping in play ping on its h vaping filled vaping film. They've been firing air soft guns at each other in a dorm room, right and play in fortnight. Stanford these nerds have been hiding from the sunlight, get vitamin deficiencies and studying coming out of the bucks slow. This is also important because same ego state winning this game sets up nicely for Stanford to the turnaround in public USC. Exactly, please. Thank you. Glad you can see the arc of history unfolding before you. I feel like that's happened about eight years in a row, right? You know what's going to happen. You'll be like, oh, we're Sean pennies gone. They have another undersize running back at some quarterback who can complete a bunch of rollouts at a defense. That's like they're all like seven pounds underweight. But they're mean as hell. That's that's India, go state. They're going to win ten games this year done. You're going to watch this game. We will next talk about them in mid December. Exactly. So go aspects. So that brings us to Saturday Saturday. Which which noon game do you want to start with. So Spencer already started talking about one which is all messed versus versus Texas Tech? Yeah, come on. You're like the mosque Rondell stupid. Oh, game of the week, dumbest. If you want to know if you just wanna put if you just want to do the like like Willem Dafoe turning into the green goblin thing where you're just like, you know, screw science. I'm going to drink this strap myself into a chair. Texas Tech rocket kite. Should it have a sharp thing on the front? They call it beta testing for a reason cook. I'm gonna do it myself. Yeah, little miss here..

"You know, he's gotta make some more big plays itself not just manage to game. I think he needs to be a little bit more of a playmaker. You know, I, I do think that some people would overstate how important it is for San Diego State to lose their decent support. Nater did a really good job there. There's really locked rocky long. If the defensive guy here, I don't think that that's a big loss, but then they say they hear things three to five cents. It's still going to be very good. If you look at San Diego State schedule and that worries me a little bit. I think they ever really tough schedule. They play at Stanford at Boise, state, Nevada at Nevada, could be a tricky game. Then also at Fresno state and also host Arizona state which who knows what they're going to be. But I think it's pretty tough schedule here for San Diego State of they have easy wins. Extend their, but some tougher games this year for San Diego State. Yeah. And you could see out there in the market as you mentioned some challenging road games at tougher schedule? No. Penny math asked the quarterback to do more, which is something no quarterbacks had to do. No. Ask six or seven years, and yet they're season win. Total sits out there at eight and a half and the over juice d. minus one twenty five. So that perception that respected the as Tech's have very evident out there in the betting market. Let's go to UNLV team that's had one bowl appearance since two thousand. That was in twenty thirteen. They were in the heart of Dallas bowl lost in North Texas, Tony Sanchez, three and nine and fifteen four and eight and sixteen five and seven and seventeen. If we follow that pattern, they win six games. Do you think that UNLV can get to a ball game this year? Yeah, I think six games is I could average for them. That's about what they'll be. It's the season wind chills at. So to me UNLV I'm not necessarily higher one that the one thing I do like I think there will be some overs UNLV this year, and it's going to be a really good running attack. You know, Rogers did a really good job as freshmen he needs to to develop as a pass, or certainly there's some good running backs that really did often line. I think UNLV will be able to run on most teams in this conference, not the best team, but I think that UNLV defense haven't moved defensive coordinator, ten skipper. He's been in the system at Florida. The last three years. He's saying he's going to be a lot more aggressive. We'll see what that means. They only had one hundred were one hundred twenty six in the country in tackles for a loss last year only had eleven sacks. So certainly more more aggressiveness would be a good thing..

In the cannabis industry what's going on I think it's very important so that, we can show that we are professional I think that's, a big part of what we need to do these days especially since. Prop sixty four passed in two thousand sixteen we really to show that we are an industry that were legitimate, business owners were not just your stereotypical donor types? As you will and what type of businesses? When you say that? What, what we encompassing are they, labs, are dispensaries. Are they just some. Guy walking the streets. What is it generally no there's we have store owners retail retail. Operators we have cultivators. Manufacturers we have insurance providers we have on makers? On and so forth in our. Product I think the difficulty of getting it to retail and just the whole supply chain and just the difficulties there are. A lot of BS I understand that we are coming out of the black market and the people are a little, hesitant skittish about this industry but that doesn't mean that we need to go so far and, make to regulate and it's.
