"There's so much to say about analyst Jack. But the reason I love the TV shows that analysts are was a jerk in in real life and in her in her diaries. You can tell she was just a jerk and they let her jerk in the show. He's an asshole and she's has. She was a wealthy landowner so it's not like she was like progressive heroin. In every way modal in this one way right she really was so analysts are kept a diary of her adult life. She recorded everything including her orgasms. And the Orcas of her lover's and her Lubbers were only women. She only slept with them. And she slept with him and across England and she slept with women across France She was quite a prolific lover and then she settled down the show Focus on a period of her life which she decided that she needed to find to marry a wealthy heiress to make improvements to her inherited home at Shipton Hall which is still there and she married like a neighboring heiress and Walker and they combine their finances. They travel together. They were married common law in English Church. Which is very interesting And they were buried together. Let's cue now. Their love story is like a little bit. I don't know if there's so much a love story like a marriage of convenience I think is also interesting to consider. But there's many many romance novels about marriages of Kim. Anyone with a sucker for those that. Turn into true love. God I love the And we're having a party for bees book when it comes out on June nine. The Party is actually also do night. I said that Matt and I were going away together for the first time since hundred was born. I want to be able to just relax enjoy myself and I like mostly did that. I mean I went to the SPA like I did relax. You were sending some work emails. It was sending some one quick aside. I realized that Matt has not been home for a week where I've actually been working in quite some time. Because on his hiatus weeks we've gone away or it's been holidays or last time we were moving. I think he was actually like surprise at how much I work like. He didn't realize and I was like. Hello what do you think I'm doing honestly like? What do you think I'm doing all day like he didn't? He didn't know that I work a lot as like. Yeah just because I'm not onset like fourteen hours a day doesn't mean that I'm not my honey shaw boy so on Friday. He's like your phone so much and I was like literally sending work emails but okay so anyway I was able to relax and then this week I have not gone to yoga in so freaking law on you're really committed to prenatal you so committed. Prenatal Yoga and then before that I always went at least a couple times a week. Member used to go to restorative yoga starting day which I can't do anymore because it's right at Henry's time and at times like a sacred our for me but now. I have ruined my house to actually do yoga. So I'm like okay now. There's really no excuse so I want to. At least I want to go to yoga or at least a Ra- go to freaking yoga already or at least do it in my house. I mean Yoga with Adrian is great free. That's what everyone said. Yeah I mean Jasmine Giller. He's been doing it for like nine hundred days early. I think you're right. Yeah and that's three years almost. Yeah it's amazing. What a streak I know. So how about you okay? So last week I was nail moisturizing with Echo. Still doing great. My my nails are short. But I'm still like buffing trying to kind of take care of them a little bit and I actually feel about them. Good in the moisturizing is really becoming a nice little bedtime ritual like once everything is put away so I don't have any hands on stuff. Yes just do. My final moisture is nice snuggle in okay so this week. It's kind of a revisit to an old Kate Spencer classic but I need to stretch infomercial. This is a classic I am partaking more challenging workout classes right. Now that I'm really enjoying but I can feel my forty year old body being like I dunno while parts of my body feel really good from the exercising. My knees or feeling tight needs I need to make a commitment to doing the other. Really Important Bodywork. Yeah like exercising intensely great but like it's pointless if you're not also stretching and totally home rolling and really taking care of yourself in that way and I have like fifty foam rollers so not really I have to. What if I had a room of fifty dollars? Britney Spears does. She has a whole home gym. I know I love her instagram. Okay so sorry for that side. So that's what's up foam rolling these quads Great Hamis. I look forward to hearing how that goes for you. Thank you Dorie and I look forward to you practicing yoga. Thank you well. I'm going to say it forever. Thirty-five is hosted and produced by Dory Sharon Kate Spencer and producing edited by. Sammy Hunia. When Sam Rita's our project manager?.

"All right so we are covering for this episode. Our guest is Sammy Hunia. Who's also so our producer you mind semi everywhere on the Internet? Shook the description of this episode. I mean like you guys now how it goes at this point but anyway anyway. We're doing seven things to do before I'm thirty. I wanted to do a little Rom com moment this is filed on IMDB under comedy drama and fantasy which sounds right. It's definitely a fantasy. Sure of someone. Yeah definitely But basically weekly the IMDB. Summary says. Laurie Madison is a young woman turning thirty returns to her Colorado hometown discovers childhood list of seven things to do before she turns earns thirty and finds that she has yet to achieve any of them. So Laurie sets on a frantic and humorous quest to accomplish some before thirtieth birthday. Just three weeks away away. All right great. This is what the movie is but it so much more than that. It's this is made in two thousand tate. Do you know what movie this reminds me of like the style of it or the entire movie. Just if you were to walk away away with the vibe of like this is a lifetime version of a certain movie Oh is it thirteen going on thirty. I honestly think it's five hundred as as of summer. Go on. I'll tell you why there's this weird quirky retro style that they're trying to work in for the lead in the whole time hi most notably though her I guess. I don't know the guy who wants to love her but that she can't love knows her Favorite Song because why she sang in an elevator. The first time they met Okay so I WANNA ask you five hundred days of summer what are you you have to tell me because I figured it out. Okay and I know who y'all are stealing from where it's coming from where it's going and that's because I put in the work so oh I will say that we do you understand what I'm saying though now I think your little bit. It's very lake. This is the beginning of Manic Pixie Dream Girl Central for America League or Don Garden State. Right you're not yet hit five hundred days of summer America's a real L. Boehner for a weird girl and this girl is weird in the way that like you know it's very read it like not that kind of girl all layoffs weird where it's like. Okay it's actually not that strange to not prefer you know what some fucking basic check reads Cozma Osmo actually half the female population university. Mian right. Yeah I get that. So it's very not that Kinda girl it's very you know this is like that. It's like the Anti lifetime movie where she's not that pretty but here's the thing? The lead is fucking stunning. If anything I mean not Michelle Trachtenberg is is that Oh my God. You're so right dude. I was like screaming. I was like this is not not Michelle Trachtenberg convert. She has someone else in her face too though. And I can't figure out who it is but you're so right now that I open it Amber Benson. Yes No. I don't affiliate Amber Benson should have this movie held against her and incapacity and it does seem like she works. It seems like her work has picked up over the last two thousand eighteen eighteen two thousand nineteen calendar year. But I. I don't know I mean I don't know. I think this is just an acting role that you need to say no to someone to do it. But it's very I'm quirky I don't I don't have anything about my life together but leg. She like I it just it. was that right. Mixture surprised lifetime caught that lightning in a bottle though. Oh sure that's like that's like that's like them coming out with like shade of get out. I see yeah they they need like Doug your hooks until they can emerging like sort of John Reid that would define a generation which is the whole eternal Sunshine Manic Pixie like five hundred days of Summer Garden State. Like you name it all I see. Yeah okay so I feel like this is their version of that but again this is sort of in the vein of like I me wed or Queen sized where. It's just sort of opens up a little Bob like an overly done Like credits which reminds me very much of a very brady movie or something like that. I like sort of seventies floral. Yeah it just I. I yelled like in the first two seconds when it started. I was like no. It was not having a but at the same time it was between this and the bad twin and I still am glad you picked this good you. It was really light. It was a romp billing the league. Also there's a lot to get mad at a very bad so it's Yeah it's basically like a like a little lifetime Rom Com like movie which I find to be the the most frustrating and I feel like I want to explore that in season six maybe season. Six's knee discovering. Why these make me so angry but yeah So we're GONNA just go into this I should say that all of the title is in lower case. Yeah that for the numbers very very upset and the I. What do you think that is? Is that Tumbler culture. What is that the only the I I am as I I? I don't know I think that somebody just like forgot how titles work I don't know I think when someone goes all lower case that's a that's always as a an aggression will maybe it's because this list of hers was written when she was a kid and she didn't know so her grammar sucked yeah. Maybe that's generous Chris. I honestly feel like it's much more insidious than that I feel like this is some sort of Internet troll on us but it is only also two thousand eight. I wish I wish I knew like the exact weekend this came out. I feel like this is capitalizing on an era that I was very much the victim of okay so I will also say now initiative then came to me and I was watching this short also I was watching some people and they like just the way it's shot made me feel like it was already washes just with people I had to. But it's shot like an alternative children's program like Beakman's world. Oh yeah that's a good call and somebody else knows Beakman's world but somebody else so good yeah belly somebody somebody else said that. It looked a little bit like but I'm a cheerleader. Just the way that the the colors are especially in the beginning. I don't think I've seen but I'm a cheerleader. Anyway let's play fifteen to eighteen and just sorta let you know this is going to be fun quirky She's going to be I. Guess what we don't know yet that I didn't know when I started my notes but will we will know. Is that like. She's on some sort of blurred out background now. In the more we get to know her. The more that background will sort of come into focus and we're GONNA learn about where she's at right now but she's speaking directly to camera in her voice overs usually and There used used lake writing. The voice over was necessary to set up the movie but throughout the rest of the movie. It's used as almost an afterthought oh good which is lazy writing. I okay but like no offence. Actually no truly no offense to Duane pool fool who will see what else green Wayne Wayne will while you're looking at that. Did this movie remind the beginning being remind you of the truth about Jane starts with the video starts with Jane talking directly to camera. Yeah I guess so bird like. Here's my life wait. Let's start with the beginning like all of that shift about James like this is the last movie you know what I forgot. I totally forgot brought about that. And you're exactly right. It's such like it's the tool. It's the tool if you need to tell a fucking story and get it done in one hundred twenty seven minutes that the way you tell the story crazy okay but yeah. No dwayne is written a lot. I will say he's written wedding at Graceland. Oh big hit a hallmark. It looks like he also was a staff writer on hotel. The love boat lottery the biscuits. What the fuck is the biscuit? Would the children's cartoon okay. So yeah I mean Oh Laverne and Shirley in the army. He wrote that in the eighties. Okay so our man's been around for a while I have to say I do love the idea of Duane. Poole deciding that he's going to write his own manic pixie dream girl like his. I Dunno I guess late forties early fifties. I would assume maybe mid fifties based on the timeline. That's a move. Who Do you think Dwayne is Dan? Ear Michael Oher. Think Duan's all of them. I think it's much darker than that. I think they might be Laurie. But also but also like lawry's mom. There's a little bit of jewel in there. WHO's The I'd only I've ever had in character more than Joel? I wrote down it like halfway. Maybe a third page it. Goes you jewel a bunch. Oh my whole thing is very the explicit about Joel Skidoo our first part fifteen seconds to to eighteen. I love happy endings. Fairytale Jerry tell kind ever after I mean when I see a movie and I know that it ends with a kiss or a wedding I can sit back and enjoy all the surprises leading up to it and the thing is life isn't always like a movie. Sometimes life is only well life. You just have to live is best. You can and relax even if the group can't his name is Dan Heart. We met in high school and I knew right from the start he was going to be my personal happy. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Maybe I better start the beginning. Our Little Girl Lori stop please. Could we just stop right there. And not only because because my mom gave away a middle name that I've never really cared for. This is way too far back. We need to fast forward about thirty years braces Summer Camp Past College. "Hello, and welcome to over thirty five a podcast about the things we do to take care of our selves. I am Kate Spencer, and my dearest co host racia- freer is out on maternity, leave coddling with her bay. So with us today is our guest host their podcast producer of this podcast. They are a Netflix show producer extraordinaire, you hear their name at the end of every episode of river, thirty five Sammy who Neo Hello nabbing in to the guest host spot here on forever. Thirty five and please before we get started. Do remember that Sammy ironclad experts for just your friends? Who like to talk a lot about serums. Oh, yes. Serum it up. I feel like your serum is it? You don't use a serum. Am I right? Yep. No sierra. We're going to dig into that. Can't wait. I did want to mention to the audience that you call me Kate horse. Which I don't know if ever told the forever thirty five audience, y that's my nickname. Oh you have I have mentioned why? I'm Kate horse Spencer, you. Okay, great. Because my parents told me I could choose my middle name, and I chose horse, and then they were like no. And when I tell people that some people adopted as my name, I love it so much, I wrote horse, like I would sign, I have still have a Fisher Price tape recorder that says, Kate horse, Spencer. Why tell your kid that they can choose their own middle name. Why not? And then but then let them choose it, and then not approve of the choice, and then make them get their grandmothers. First name could just given me Elizabeth to begin with, and it's fair, you know, but I would like like I wonder what if you could choose your own middle name as a kid? And also now what would you choose? Oh, I don't know. That's tough. Like when I was a kid. I wanted my name in the eighties, I wanted to be like, Tiffany, Shannon or Morgan. Like those are the names, I coveted Jordan. I like to max max. Yeah. Sam maximal. Yeah, you could pull off max. I've. Not any more. I like my name law right now. Your full name or just Sammy Hunia. I've been doing a lot of Sam lately, and that feels good. I like Sam I've been shortening Sammy to Sam without asking for of hope. That's okay. Oh, that's why. Okay, great. Yeah. I would correct you hear it was also you have such a great last name that, like a nice, teeny short name up top just like sets up who Neo is kind of like the feature performer. Oh, thanks Kate. Am I crazy? No, never like we could just call you like peop- who Nieto. I mean Samho Nieto's really? Thank you. So sammy. Okay. Wow. Here we are so Sammy you're going to be stepping in guest hosting with us today, and it's kind of a big time for you. Oh boy. It's a big career time for you were an astrologer. I would like immediately run to your chart and see what's going on. Oh, please. But you are truly one of the hardest working people. I know thanks skate. The you do numerous limit. We haven't even read your bio, let me, let me read this, hold on. Here we go. Sammy who Neo is. A co executive producer a Netflix upcoming show, historical roasts, which is out now at the time of this podcast airing they are also the head of tack at dynasty typewriter, which is a very cool comedy, performance theatre here in Los Angeles, and a podcast audio engineer, and producer. You may know Sammy from the credits of this year podcast because they produce forever. Thirty five as well as a billion other podcasts, and you can catch Sami acting in the very funny, dare say sexy short films squeaks, which is on who ha ha and you can find semi on Twitter, at Sammy underscore, who Neo or an Instagram at it underscore, your underscore, Sam where you can enjoy my favorite truly one of my favorite of all time. Instagram's stories series which Sammy as titled is it and it's actually I like to call it is at that ladies. And this is in which Sammy comes up with reasons why women are not interested in dating them on bumble. And it is an ongoing series that you've been doing on your Instagram stories, and it makes me. Every time. Thank you so much. I actually. Yeah, it's I don't even know. I mean you said you re watched the beginning of it recently. And yeah, I just was feeling real silly about why wasn't getting any matches on bumble? And so I took it out. Instagram's stories. Escalated into well, it always it has always been like things that clearly, nobody would see or know about may from my bumble bio like your knuckle hair, which I think is one of the first one or like there was one where you would put your water bottle in your shoe. And that was what was holding your water. Oh, yeah. That was when I came home late by late. You mean drunk by late? I mean drunk. Okay. Yes. And you were holding your water in a shoe. Yeah. That was like four years. Sammy did you ever get any what, what was dating? Are you you're not still on bumble? We'll get to like love life. Yeah. Got banned off. I deleted it off my phone. My profile exists, go find me match me up. But did you have any success only does that ever a positive experience? Only dating and I like I've been online dating for a while. I was definitely a early adopter. I was on. Okay cupid, and that one is my favorite because you could fill it out as detailed as he wanted to, and then they're all these quizzes and things you could do almost like you learn about yourself a little bit like kind of like doing a quiz in a magazine. Yeah. Absolutely. It was kind of, like you know how like Instagram you like curate all of the cool things about you. Yes. It's exactly what. Okay. Keep like in written form. And I really I did a did have success on. Okay. Cupid and I not somebody who like dates a ton of people, but, like I found I met my one of my best friends off of. Okay. Cupid shutout. Nikki, but, like we clearly met with the intention of like doing things. But yeah, it's, it's crazy now because Tinder and bumble and all that stuff. It's just like it. Has opened up like okay cupid, an online dating generally, to just be like internet, people who really couldn't go out or didn't want to go out and meet people the regular way. But now tender and bumble, and everything else has been like opened up to everybody. And so now that they're, they're applying the regular dating rules to it. So it's, it's really weird. And I. Did not figure it out at all. Did you have any matches on bumble? I matched with a couple of people mobile and I talked to them for a little bit. But when it came down to meeting, I was just like. Was your frustration? I realize I said, we're gonna talk about career and then I was like, tell me about online dating. Oh, I love it. But when you when you did make that because we like joke about your is at that ladies videos because I love him so much lane. Also, a big fan here and the forever thirty five world. Sure door is also a fan. Oh, I hope so. But was it were you dealing with a feeling of rejection was that, like, just kind of a humorous way of coping, or are you able to maintain kind of a positive outlook when it feels like what is, why is nobody matching at me like I'm a good catch. What's Ritz, the deal L? It's wasn't like true frustration. But was just like how is this not working, but, and that's why I came up with that, like whole excuse. So that just rambled through of, like, oh, well, it's different now and other people who are on it, that isn't actually an interesting observation because I it's kind of, like when Facebook first came out, and it was just like college students at colleges and then all of a sudden, everybody's parents were on it. And like it does shift. The experience of an of an app like as the users brought in yes, actually what it's like. Yeah. It it. Yeah. It has changed. But yeah, I wasn't like super seriously looking for someone that I wanted to like date date, because I was I'm not fresh out of the relationship now, but. It was just like I don't want to date right now. I don't have the time. And, but this is like a it was kind of like a decision that I made to be like, okay, but I should go out and start meeting people with, like that sort of intention of getting to know them on, like a let's be romantic types like scenario. Sounds hard, put yourself out there in that way, it was because I was in like a. Blurry phase where? I was processing all of the lessons that I should have learned or did learn from my relationship that ended last year and trying to sort through that, and be like, and acknowledging my cycles behavior, and, and then it was deciding to be like, okay, we've addressed these things. Can I one meet people in real life without being like oh, Verna relationship, and we're doing this whole entire thing or can I meet people be like set those boundaries and stuff because I am really real bad about. Oh, interesting. Yeah. I mean like you meet someone and then immediately like two days later, you're like moving and married that kind of. Yeah, basically. So I made a couple of friends and kept them just friends. And it was just like, wow, you could do that. Yeah, good work. Sam. It is hard. How did you has really interesting? You said that after your last relationship ended you spent time processing, what you did, and it, how do you learn the lessons of a failed relationship at an ended relationship like, how do you sit in process it and get stuff out of it, and learn more about yourself, and, and like the good and the bad that went into it. I mean you just have to recognize that the relationship ended because of two people like you can be mad at that person, but you also have to recognize it like you had a part in it, too. And you, you really do have to like dig deep and be like, okay. Why did you do? But like who are you like look at look at all of your other relationships like this is a repeated thing that you're doing, like you have to. Just really dig in and be like, okay, okay. I see this now. And that's it's no good. And it's not fair to the people that you're in a relationship with and yourself. That's a hard work. Yeah, it is. And I really didn't learn from my relationships until the one before the one that just recently ended. So the last two kind of near late twenties. Yeah. Do you think it was just age? That's helped you do better job of assessing your behavior in relation like your patterns of behavior and relationships. I, I mean, I think so. I haven't really like applied it in that way, like, okay, you're getting older. It was kind of just like you're really traumatized by this. Let's learn some stuff. That's a good way to handle trauma. Yeah. Well, we'll see. Do you feel like now that you are dating someone that you oiler okay spoiler alert? Sammy is dating a person. Yes. Who seems really cool. She's great. Do you feel like you're applying the experiences of your like the, the learning experience that you just went through to this new, like the new relationship? Absolutely. And we talked a lot, and oh, you're going to get kicked out of this. So I met this person, and there was an immediate like draw to her. And but I was still like teetering off of a another thing. Hello. And so there was like, there was this hesitation, and I was just like, okay hold on a second. 'cause you hesitated with all of the other people that you were dating. Is this the same sort of hesitation like? And so I was just like, oh, I don't I don't know..

That's what John said. So I thought that was a really. Awesome interpretation of the movie, and then I was just chatting with her a little bit after that. Let's Caitlyn. Hey, Jamie. Have you ever tried? Pedialyte? I don't think that I have. I've had to jugs. They only sell them in jug form for some reason if a two jugs of pedialyte in the past twenty four hours. And I started very anti pedialyte, but like in movies, the pedialyte or down a numb fully in love with pedialyte. It's my beverage of choice. Wow. Replacing Mike's hard lemonade, even. Okay. Now it doesn't pass anymore because you brought Mike into the conversation. Unbelievable might be. Yeah, I think that pedialyte my new chaser. Okay. Good. Yeah. Just take a swig of vodka appeal at your basically sober now. Pedialyte is like a children's beverage. Yes, but you also drink it when you're sick supposed to keep you hydrated and and safe. You can just buy. I was filling the stigma of the pedialyte drug just like carrying it outside on Saturday night and like she's very sick. 'cause she's demented. If I'm going to buy hydrated, be careful just amended and very hydrated. So you tell us about your relationship, your history with, she's the man.
