"Taking a look at our roadways. We continue with that big problem coming out of round wrong 35 south on close down near Wells Grange Parkway. This is due to a collision involving several vehicles. They're still trying to get everything cleaned up. They are diverting traffic onto the service road and we're looking at solid delays back to 14 31. And then we also have reports of a collision at Loyola and Main Road and Melinda Brilliant with Austin's on time traffic. This segment. Sports jock Jason and Vito ate 3605 90 is the phone number 51283605 90 Here is Tom Herman. I'm not sure Is this from today? Zoom. I think Brennan told me this is from yesterday. Tom Herman on the on the outcome. Let t go on the road to have the mistakes make the mistakes that we made especially defensively and special teams to find a way to get it out of the end. Extremely proud. We know we got a lot of work to do We need to do is we need to start with tackling on defense. You can't give up on easy, slow, Roland Kickoff. In the blood of our guys got beat one of our best players, but wait give tracked three touchdowns, teams, mishaps and a thick that went down to the five yard line. So as poorly as we tackled on defense, we certainly didn't do any favors on the other two phases of the game again when one Really, really proud. Winning on the road is difficult, especially when you continue to be your own worst enemy. Good thing is we found a way down 15 free minutes and James left type thing up over time we made a big plait is when we need it. Radio station gets excited when you say the word win. Did you hear that? And, Yeah, sure. I was ready for that when I'm here. I mean, look, there are some some positives that you can take away from this. Not a hot take. Sam Mellinger is great. He is great and what he said to Ah, I guess you hear that that he went to her love that teen and said, we're going to win in overtime. Yeah, and only that he said they left. They left us too much Write. Write me goose bumps, man. You love to hear that you wanted them to grow into this year, right? Exactly. It's awesome. And I love watching him play. But look I just I mean, look, I I am worried about a team that can give up 56 points like this. You know, that's really problematic. Even with the wackiness and everything else to you don't get to 56 by a fluke. And did you hear that? Did you hear any of those announcers? Ed? Your thoughts on this is well talk about Sam during the game and say that he's a little less accurate when he gets too jacked up. You know, I I didn't listen much to be honest with you had the sound down and I turn on Craig a little bit. You know, Tim Brando is not is an OK guy. There's a reason he's on the fox. You know, Bill assistant real honest and also on any time Ed says somebody on Okay, guy? Yeah. Yeah, And I liked him. He's solid, but like I say, and then Spencer Tillman, he does not know how to say Sam Challenger's name. Did you notice that all through the game Challenger, Challenger Challenger and how he did that all the game because they're people within the press box here who is where they're supposed to say His name is Ellen. Calendar, not Ellen Juror, but you know it is what it is. But Sam Sam What was once linked to Tom Herman said with that high scoring game, neither quarterback pass for over 500 yards right, which was strange, Strange, strange, but no, I don't think Sam's getting get getting the respect he deserves. After leading the team back So far back and only three minutes, So So as I was watching the game. I never thought that there was Ah, problem with the play calling like they should be. They should be passing the ball more, But like afterwards, you go back and look and you see that. I think he had the same just have 40 attempt something like that in a game. Where you you high scoring affair like that. I do think that they probably should be passing the ball more. Down the field to hate those swing. Well, not a lot of this. I'm gonna disagree, because because Tech Tech didn't do it. They had one rusher. The street racer got over 100 yards, mostly because of that, 11. So I'm I'm old school in that Jay when I think Street racer if they could just run I don't think the offensive line had to protect the great game myself phoned and they had a disaster. It's game Oka Oka for a really, really tough. I mean, San Cosme is supposed to be a first round pick. I guess he had in our right game got called for a couple of procedural things there, but they they were second Sam rushing three. All right. Unless you're playing against Aaron. Donald, you should never give up a sack with versus a three man line, right? Sam will get this and I just really look at this number once again. He was 27 of 40 for only 2 62, but the five touchdowns and one interception. Bowman threw it. 52 Times, Texas had 214 yards rushing Chianti had 89 Sam had 69. They had 1 16. So you know, it's a strange if you score when Sam only has 2 62. Yeah. If you don't watch the games and just look at the box scores. I think Sam Mellinger is the Heisman favorite right now. Oh, right. You were to say you something to hear something positive. Come out of your mouth about that about. I say positive things all the time. And I think he himself would be too well, I think even if you don't I mean Justin Field hasn't played Trevor Laurence only played one game, but you play your games, but But yeah, and I'm pretty ticked myself today, fellas. I meant I meant to do this. I was going to come in, and I was gonna eat tortillas. Dipped in Bowman's upside down Horn sauce. Oh, man. Oh, my God. You know that greatest thing two weeks in a row in two games when you saw Leonard blanks, the old man who owns the Atlanta Falcons, go on the field. Early case of death when you saw a woman do the upside down. Good man. Kiss the death there, Sonny Boy gets a death. I just can't really I can't believe teams. They're still doing that. All right? Don't be obsessed with us. Alright, get get our hand signal out of your head. Alright? Why? Why I still do. People say they're not obsessed with Texas And your response always is. Oh, yeah, well, then why do they do that? When they're not even playing exactly Why did they do that in a while? I'm sure I'm sure Oklahoma before things went disastrous for them scored a touchdown. And somebody did horns down this weekend vs K State I'm like, Get out of here. Yeah, yeah, By the way, Oklahoma might be seven. A half was my pick last week. That was we've got. We've got breaking news from the from breaking news from the MBA breaking news. All right, Doc Rivers has been fired by the Clippers. Doc Rivers fired today by the river Clipper's Yeah, he's out. Wow. I mean, That is. Ah, They certainly underwhelmed this year didn't meet expectations. But who were you going to get? I mean, look, I don't love Doc rivers, but I think he's Didn't Can you upgrade from that? That man that is crazy thing came from Probably what happened? I'm sure he was consulted on the decision, Right? That's just kind of crazy. Yeah..

"Breeze got a little lucky. Kamara basically did everything for him. But let's talk about. Luck. I took the norm at this plot not to the degree of what we saw yesterday his touchdown catch remade six miss. Was One of the greatest place. You're going to see this year a up, but you know it's This is who he was before the injuries last year. This is better not not this but like it's like Russell Wilson like this is who Russell Wilson is. It's just we're seeing the high end of the outcome but like Alvin Kamara has been consistently one of the best players in NFL breaking big plays guys Miss and so the last night was glad last night was crazy he had a ridiculously good game but like Alvin Kamara. that. Dude's pretty good. He's going to have ridiculous gains every now and then especially with no Michael, Thomas on the field because breeze does not throw the ball downfield Michael Thomas is who is looking for seven yards down when he's checking down well, guess what? There's no Thomas there and he couldn't rely on the other receivers they're dropping balls left and right so yes, Alan Kamara I'm not gonna say my answer for later but right now he's amazing drew brees average. Depth. Of Average air yards on his pass attempts right now. So Patrick Mahomes has the second lowest of six yards Sam Sam Darnold at six point one jared Goff six point one. Drew brees is at four point six, his average pass traveling four point, six yards in the air. That is. Completely it's impossible to like. That's another one that's just not gonNA, keep up moving forward but. It just shows you. One just how little? How unwilling he is to pull the trigger watch though. The. Last two games, right. He's been on prime time. There have been including on one of these Kamera touchdowns. By the way there have been at least two plays in each game where he's gone play action he has set up he has looked deep. He wanted to throw I don't have the all twenty two. Okay. So I don't know what's going on is he missing someone or more likely nobody's open and then he checks down so They WANNA, get the ball downfield but they don't have Michael Thomas who's not exactly like a downfield guy but it just opens more things up opens things up more. So when your offense like. Is taking what the defense is giving him and he did fine. But I'd rather talk about Aaron Rodgers. I'm sorry to cut you off but I just want I want to get an Aaron Rodgers, because, right now he's like boy those throws he made Allahyar just credible. So is Aaron Rodgers in your opinion a must start guy rest of season definitely this week against Atlanta but recipes Aaron Rodgers, they must start guy. He's The I was definitely one of the Aaron Rodgers is not as good as he used to be guys over the last couple of seasons because he wasn't he didn't have faith in any receivers besides devante Adams and he was Kinda playing sloppy. His mechanics were bad. There were way too many times in the last couple of seasons where he would just like. Airmail throw or throw it short because he didn't step into a throne, he was relying on his arm to arm strength, get the job done and so far. This season we've seen a different version of Aaron Rodgers and what's interesting is the way they've constituted their offense. It's all either quick throws. He has the second lowest rate of passes at least five yards down the field. So he has I think. Entering we three, he had the quickest. Average time of release after the after the drawback, but he also has one of the highest rates of passes twenty plus yards down the field and so. They're doing the high efficiency throws in the short game and he has confidence in Allen Lazard Markaz volumes sampling, both of them were in the top ten and air yards in week three. And obviously he has a lot of faith in Montana to. Ben What do you think anything else on the packers and you WanNa talk about or the saints for that Matter Jared Cook got hurt. Manual. Sanders was better than Trae quant Smith, barely twelve more yards but he caught the touchdown Smith actually at one were target. Oddly. Enough. Tom Kamara had. Good, carries yeah. Look good in the end of the game, it was j Sturm Burger getting his first ever regular season catches. So it was almost like Yeah Tanya might be a waiver wire guy and then Mercedes the touchdown J.. And Should not have been a touchdown they were too late like game winning touchdowns yesterday that just absolutely should not have counted. Yeah that one at least you know didn't. One hundred percent affect the outcome of the game like the bills one but yeah, that was. Track, I don't think anyone's rushing to pick up a tight end for the for the packers. especially, if Davante Adams is back next week you. Wide receivers either that I like because Sanders look terrible. Then he looked fine yesterday trae kwame look good and then he looked fine yesterday. Now I think Yard I'm really disappointed in it didn't start him in more places because I have him on most of my team's. mvs A shaded the coverage toward NBA I think Marshon lattimore was on. Valdez scantly more often which makes sense because he lines up on the outside more often. But lazard. Good Rogers obviously has confidence and obviously had confidence in him last year when he was. Kind of publicly pushing for him to play and These are really really big wide receivers who can Go up and make tough grabs Mar mvs had some drop trouble but. I really like. What the packers are doing on offense and the fact that Iraq clearly trust these guys and that's the biggest thing. I think you can see the difference between year one year two of matlock floors offense they are doing whatever they want. They're running the ball. Well, Aaron Jones Says Sixteen to eighteen carries and all three games, which is a great sign they're throwing I. MEAN, they're just super confident, and sometimes it happens sometimes, it doesn't where the quarterback takes a big leap in the second year of a system, it seems to be happening. In this case news notes Dallas got are likely to miss some time with the ankle injury. Deshaun Jackson is believed to have a minor strain. Chris Carson could play this week even update on Jerick McKinnon. I didn't even see how late did he leave that game I i. was watching third quarter.

Latest airport ransomware attack highlights how cybercriminals hold data hostage
"This past week Cleveland's airport began to recover from a computer attack that took down its flight information, baggage displays and it's Email. The FBI says it was another ransomware attack on a sensitive government network, ransomware locks up victims files until ransom is paid more. And more critical public service networks are the targets before Cleveland. The city governments of Newark, Atlanta, and Sarasota were hit and San Francisco's transit authority. The Colorado department of transportation and the port of San Diego today. Twenty six percent of cities and counties say they fend off an attack on their networks every hour, perhaps even worse. Dozens of hospitals have been held hostage across the country. In January twenty eight teen the night shift at Hancock regional hospital watched its computers crash with deepest apologies. The one hundred bed facility in the suburbs. Of indianapolis. Got it CEO Steve long out of bed. We had never been through this before. And it's something that I read in the journals. And I say, oh, those poor folks. I'm glad that's never going to happen to us. But when you come in, and you see that the files on your computer have been renamed in all of the files were renamed either. We apologize for files or were sorry. And there was a moment when I thought, well, maybe they're not so bad. They said they were sorry. But in fact, they had encrypted every file that we had on our computers and on the network. Well, the as we've said still had long told nine one one to divert emergency patients to a hospital twenty miles away. His staff turned to pen and paper. Nothing electron. It could be trusted. This is a ransomware. So this is a virus that has gotten. To the computer system. Would it have the ability to jump to a piece of clinical equipment could have jumped to an IV pump could have jumped to a ventilator we needed a little time just to make sure about that time was a luxury not offered in the ransom demand. Your network has been encrypted if you would like to purchase the decryption keys you have seven days to do. So or your network vials? We'll be permanently deleted. And then it gave us the the amount that we would need to pay to get that back and that came to about fifty five thousand dollars that was the same price demanded of the city of Leeds Alabama three weeks after Hancock hospital near David Miller was surprised his town of twelve thousand would be a target not much to notice in. It's at least not since Charles Barkley graduated from the high school. I didn't know that this Mauer attack was actually a ransomware attack soon as we've found that out that took it to the different level. How do you make? Well, it was. Going to cost us money white the hospital. The city of Leeds was cast back into the age of paper. No, Email, no access to its personnel files or financial systems can all companies and local governments expect to be attacked. I think everyone should expect to be attacked the FBI's might Chris man says cyber-crooks, no governments in hospitals are likely to pay because they can't afford not to until his recent promotion Christmas was in charge of the FBI's cybercrime unit. You're waiting for the day that somebody says we have the nine one one system held hostage in a major city, and we need ten million dollars today. I hope that day never comes. But I think we should prepare for that possibility. Crispin says in twenty seventeen seventeen hundred six cesspool rent somewhere attacks were reported. But he figures that's less than half more. Most businesses. He says would rather pay in admit they were hacked on the wear of one ransomware variant that affected all fifty states that had some thirty million dollars in losses and over six million dollars in ransom payments. I would tell you that the losses are very significant and easily approach one hundred million dollars or more just in the United States that ransomware variant. He's talking about is the one that held handcock hospital hostage. It's cold Samson. After one of its file names experts told Steve long Sam Sam is unbreakable. There was nothing that we could do to unlock those files are only choice was to wipe the system and hope that we had backups or to purchase the decryption keys to pay the rent. Indeed. That is exactly what that means. But Sam Sam had infected the hospitals back-up files, the FBI adv-. Vise long not to pay. But after two days after his staff filled out ten thousand pieces of paper, he paid the ransom. The crooks demanded digital money known as bitcoin ransomware is possible only because bitcoin is so difficult to trace mayor Miller held out two weeks before he paid his bitcoin ranson after a little bargaining at the said to grit my teeth and realized that this was a business decision. And that was the way to do it. So they asked for sixty and you paid eight how did you get there? Well, I agree and

Austin fact, chided dizzy, I mean, I guess we'll tell our listeners like we could we could talk for seven hours on in. This fact, check about stuff that was sad. And I'm not gonna do that. I picked a few things that we can talk about that. I thought maybe needed saying after listening. There's a lot of may be could be considered controversial opinions, and I'm not going to pick apart every single one. Okay. So. Okay. Well, I you said four out of five guests of ours. We site Sam exaggeration. I didn't luck. Yeah. That's an exaggerating is probably an exaggeration at the beginning. Yes. Tapered off a little bit. Because we've we also heard about all these people. But what's interesting is even when I'm not actually saying Sam, but I'm talking about something. Paul bloom wrote about empathy or I'm talking about something Brett Weinstein said or on talking about even Yuval Harari, they came from his podcast. So even if I don't say Sam, and I just go do you heard this, Paul bloom thing, really, I'm talking, you know, I got that from SAM's cast. That is true. Okay. So he mentioned honor killings, and he said. I don't actually know what he said the percentage was or maybe just a high percentage of Islam believes that we that honor killings are okay. And the Washington Post in pew in two thousand thirteen did a survey and in fourteen of the twenty three countries where the question was asked at least half say honor killings are never justified when a woman stands accused similarly at least half in fifteen of twenty three countries. Say honor killings of accused men are never justified in only two countries Afghantistan in Iraq. Do majorities say honor killings of women are often or sometimes justified. But you know, it's interesting is it almost declares your your position on this topic. Even the way that was just said, which is to say they found that half of people don't believe in honor killings. You could also then say half of people believe. In honor killings, which is very dressed of it though. That's what it's saying into it. It's pointing out the countries in which the majority does. But even even if half of population believes that that's very troubling of a country. Yeah. It is. These are also like well, my take away from this. When I looked at the whole last with. Yeah. The country's the more modern countries have have small number that really troubled war ridden countries have a high number met to me was clear in looking at that list. That was my takeaway. I mean, it's scary and bad incredibly, I guess, the I think this is what gets frustrating for me in these conversations and probably for other people is and I think it's largely would Sam gets frustrated with. Is. Ee you have to knowledge this large amount of people that have these views. That's just a statistical fact now the more important thing that no one ever gets to. It's like the left wants to deny the less. Big messages will the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful and wonderful, and that's true. Absolutely. But then you read stuff like this, and you have to acknowledge a pretty good hefty amount of people do believe in honor killings. That's troubling. That's that's a big concern..

"Gripped but i remember that cinematographer sam sam levy who also ended up shooting ladybird because that i loved him i love him and i wanted to work with him again but he turned to me while we were in sacramento for francis and said i would love to shoot an entire feature here which i think i stored in in the back of my head because i brought it up to him play given the script remember that time you said that thing the with denaturing chance um but i i i i'm interested in cinema of representing places that don't usually get representation i think cinemas one of the better documentaries of place and i think i will not go to the movie theater and i see a world that i haven't known or haven't been part of but it feels known intimately by the people who made it did something it's a visceral experience you get it through the screen and in that and i think about places in in america which you think you know they you don't know and um in some ways sacramento could be any town and in other ways it it it it is this specific place which is why connects for people to their own lives because they i think audiences can really breeze a certain amount of truth through the screen and they know even if they don't know the names of the places or why they're important they sense that they are places and they are important and i've always liked a bit of mystery in a way in movies and not overly defining everything and so it is so setting it in sacramento was was a big part of riding in starting to find the story and it's not the only movie i wanna make in sacramento i'd like to make more movies in sacramento i think it is a place i known i love and i think you shoot things that are are close to you with more care and love than than you would place it.
