"salem channel" Discussed on The Officer Tatum Show

"Is the officer Tatum show. And afraid to tell it like it is. Let's get back to the subject at hand. I want to talk a little bit about COVID COVID. COVID-19, I don't know first, I want to define Simpson for you. So I had to look on the urban dictionary to make sure that if you guys forget what I said, you can always go look at it on the urban dictionary. If it's something on the show that I say that you don't know what I'm talking about because you don't live in the south or you didn't grow up it where I grew up at, then just look it up on urban dictionary. Now the word simping and the way is described on the urban dictionary is when you are infatuated over a woman, are you infatuated over a woman and allowed them to take over your mind and cause you to do things that you would not normally do, right? So a person is simping after a woman, that means if you think a woman is so fine, he just starts, he'll do anything for that woman. I mean, she has literally running his life, and he is willing to die for this woman and do things that he would never do before and has never done before. And that same thing is what I consider some of these Democrats are doing. Some of these Republicans are doing for the Democratic Party. I said, they're simping. They're literally allowing the affection, I would say fake affection from the Democrats, like Liz Cheney was to control their mind and make them do stuff they would never do. Liz Cheney, I would argue before Donald Trump and the before the leftists were kissing her behind that she would never turn on Republicans. No matter what they did, but oh no, now the sim card has come out. I want to talk about Kobe Kobe for a minute. You know, it's funny how we're getting victories in marginal victories and they will never report on it, right? COVID-19 is essentially over for us. For most people, we're done with it. People are like, I'm through, you don't have much to say to me. I want nothing to do with COVID-19. And a couple victories that I want to know is that there are healthcare workers in Illinois who are going to are expected to receive a $10 million settlement for vaccine mandates that were imposed on them denying their religious exemptions. And it says healthcare workers in north shore university health system and Illinois are expected to receive a $10.3 million in their first of a kind class action settlement over the hospital's COVID coronavirus vaccine mandates. According to the Washington examiner, that's a victory. Also, California church was fined over $200,000 back in during the COVID COVID age for not a bottom bottom restrictions. I guess they want the court, let's see. Regardless of how they did it, let me get to the hold on a second. Now my computer want to make noise. But they were originally fined, and let me read the article so I can let you know how they ended up getting the charges dropped. But he says California's church continued to hold services defying the county health order that it closed down during coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic as it was as the farms were dropped after a nearly two year battle. So they battled it out in court and they were able to get their charges dropped. I say charges dropped the fees dropped. Which is a significant victory for this particular charge. Let me get to the name of the church. Let's see, it says, this is a significant victory for the church and passed across the country, Robert Taylor. I don't know if you guys know him. President and advocate for faith and freedom said in a press conference after the California Court of Appeals reversed the injunction against calvary chapel, San Jose. That's a pretty big church. I heard a cabbage Apple San Jose. I know a lot of people probably listen to it, maybe go to the calvary chapel of San Jose. And there are two pastors Mike McClure and Carson after Lee. They both stood up, held the line like Christian should. In hopes that God will vindicate them and I think the idea of indicate them by not forcing them to have to pay these exorbitant fines for no freaking reason. I mean, it was literally a way for leftist to attack the church, left us to attack our freedoms and see how far they can push us. And those who stood and with and withstood the test of time will be rewarded. The people who didn't shame on you. Welcome back. Welcome back. Welcome back, ladies and gents, gents and lay todds. We spoke about in the last segment. We talked about Liz Cheney SARS, we spoke about Donald Trump being the goat and we really wish that Trump could be the president again. Spoke about going to school, making that decision whether or not you should attend college and waste your money or will it be a proper investment for your time, Donald Trump, whether Donald Trump is a distraction, or Donald Trump is still the goat. I want to hear from you, a 5 5 9 zero zero 7 two four three 8. 8 four four 9 zero zero 7 two four three 8 four four 9 zero zero 7 two four three. I want to hear from you guys like the real dilemma that we're facing in the Republican on the Republican side is that will Donald Trump be so will they take him down a rabbit hole so much that he is going to be impossible for people to turn out on his behalf or have they galvanized the base in the American people against the rage and machine of the left to get Donald Trump reelected. That is that is going to be a legit interest topic. Because I wish that there was an investigation after investigations after claims after this after this on Donald Trump, I just feel like for people who are, you know, not very savvy, it's hard to convince them that Donald Trump isn't wrong for our country. But then is there a concept where there's so many people that are quiet, but that see it like we see it? People who are not saying much, they go to work, they go home. They at the family dinner and they don't get into politics because they don't want to argue with people. However, they are the light switches coming on in their mind. They're listening to people like myself. They listen to people like Larry and Dennis and Sebastian and Charlie Kirk and taxes and everybody that's on the Salem channel. I'm pretty sure I missed a couple people. But all of our podcasts and niche and many people that are on this network are they listening? Are they waking up? And they just haven't said anything, but their actions are going to display something very differently. When I was campaigning or doing some campaign things, we carry Lake here in Arizona, there was rumors that a lot of Hispanics in Arizona wanted to vote for Carrie. They were showing up at the polls like oh, I want to vote for Carrie, but she's not on the ballot. And it was because obviously they weren't registered as Republicans. So you have a lot of Democrats that may have wanted to vote for Carrie Lake, but they couldn't because of the laws of voting in the primary in the state of Arizona. Have the base been galvanized. That's what I want to know. Or do some of you guys think that Donald Trump's baggage, whether legitimate or illegitimate, is going to be far too much for him to win in 2020 four. In 2024, let me get to a call unless he was holding the longest. I'm a go with Michael from Mississippi. Welcome

"The apple or the Android store, watch it on Roku, type Salem's channel in the search bar. Come and check us out. We are the antidote to the mainstream media period point blank. All right, let's go back to the calls. We're going to hit Sacramento next, Nancy, thank you for your patience. You are on the Larry elder show. Bob franch sitting in, go right ahead. Yes, sir. Good afternoon and thank you for taking my call. Anyway, I'm just calling to say since the jurors are afraid for their lives. And I'm sure this is not the first time. How come they're not putting yours just like how they do in a police lineup? Where you can not I mean, the suspects they can not see who's trying to identify them? Well, I can tell you this, they have 18 jurors in the room listening to the case, and then what they did, as I understand it, if somebody wants to correct me on this, if I'm wrong, you can, but I think I understand it. What they did Nancy is before they went to deliberate they held a raffle. They literally did the old school put everybody's name in a hat or in a box or in a bowl or whatever, and they pulled randomly 12 names out, and those 12 jurors are the ones who are actually deliberating. So if they did that it may be, to kind of, you know, conceal the identity, so people don't know which 12 of the 18 actually went ahead and deliberated this verdict and came back with their decision. So that's kind of what you're talking about. I think to a degree, they try to keep the jurors private information, their names are supposed to not be in the media. Their identities, their addresses, their phone numbers and so forth. So they try to keep them as confidential as possible, but I don't know that it's, I don't know that it's possible, particularly in a trial, we are allowed to have media there with cameras. The jurors aren't going to be on camera. And jurors aren't going to be seen in jurors aren't going to potentially be identified. Well, whatever works, I don't know the technicalities of it, you know, but if they're afraid for their lives, perhaps in any future cases, perhaps the best bet would be. I mean, there could be cameras in the room, but then it will be just them there. You know, your idea, your idea is not a bad one, Nancy, when they hold when they have victims or witnesses trying to identify suspects in a lineup, they usually use a two way mirror. The victim slash witness or whomever is on one side of the glass, the lineup is on the other side and they can't see the victim or the witness that is pointing to them or identifying them. So why not have a jury box that is self contained other than the fact that it would be extraordinarily uncomfortable and hot and have 12 people inside a box, being hidden behind a piece of glass in a contained area. But if there was a way to put them in a room with a, you know, with a two way mirror, in which mirror glass or whatever in which they could see what's going on in the courtroom and hear everything. And neither the jury, nor excuse me, neither the prosecution nor the defense nor the audience or the gallery of people who were there can see them. Maybe that's a good way to protect them. Maybe that's a thought. It's not a bad idea, and it's something that may be needed if juries continue to be terrified into producing the correct verdict verdict and in order to keep the peace they are willing to sacrifice an innocent defendant. And I don't care who that defendant is, by the way, if they're innocent, and they are convicted by a jury that is afraid of the ramifications socially and publicly or in their own private lives, and they can vote to convict that innocent person that obviously are criminal justice system is broken beyond repair. Let's hope that never comes to pass. Although it already has in terms of the fearful, fearful juries voting the wrong way. Against what the evidence shows. Louisville, Kentucky is our next stop. Charles, you were on the Larry elder show, bob Francis and go right ahead. Yeah, hey, thank you for taking my call. Yes, sir. I was debating on whether or not to call and talk to you about this, but anyway, you talk about doxxing. Right. And you just talk right through it like something, but what is it? Well, I can tell you, there's a lot more to it than what you might think. The people on the left are like these, think of them as bees. And they're in every government agency. They're in every business. They're in your supermarkets. They're everywhere and they're like little bees and they're there. And if you're getting docs, you're going to get stung. They're going to when you go in there, your car is marked, they've got phones and it shows up on their phone that you're there. So they're already waiting for you. And that is a very very good explanation. Charles that's a very good explanation. The bee analogy is one that I can go with, and I will repeat and I will use in future conversations because that is exactly right. When they docks, jurors or docks, you know, people who are supposed to remain private with the intention of terrifying them and stopping them from doing something like, for example, casting the correct verdict or vote in a verdict in a jury. They give out their phone numbers to give out their addresses. They give out whatever information they have on them, so people can identify them take pictures of them circulate them, and then yes, harass them and their families and public arenas for the rest of their lives. It's.

At de association for talent development and then had a great show up there met lots of I mean these are heavy hitter companies to me no big fortune. Five hundred folks all a whole different crowd from from what you're saying. Yeah i'll look for you. Know private internal podcasting private podcasting. So was a good show. We got lots of leads to lots of work to follow up with them and then down to dragon con in atlanta. That's always downtime. I'm sure yeah in. Instead of eighty five thousand there was forty. five thousand. People was still busy. And i went to the vendor area and got some new swag. Some of that'll be showing up here for the studio soon but then Yes a back but we've had. We've had a big week here. We're gonna talk about that a little bit later folks we've got. Some news is in best practice. Chris what's going on with blueberry are big announcement day and then we have interview. We have the meet the team interview with mandy moore and then a question of the week which is a walker so I i think we've got a lot going on. You're saying they were going to do having one ben not having one then. Having one lit appears that podcast is going to have a smaller event in november fourth and fifth and tampa It's not going to be a big event. But he's doing a virtual ben an in person event so those of you that the podcast have a chance to ask that kinda strange has to virtual 's as virtual on virtual part two and then they're doing it at Like the luxury suites in a stadium. So it'll be cool. I think i think they did the first one. There is There was some sort of history with that stadium so should be interesting. And by the way mike. I have to mention your background today. You've rearranged the furniture. We'll both the lighting excellent. You're representing podcast to point out today with your t shirt as well for those of you. That listening mice got a plaid cast two point. Oh served by. Where'd you get that. Where'd you score that shirt. Well dave jones handed it to me to at podcast movement but normal you have to donate one hundred dollars to the movement to the to podcasting two point oh Or what is it. The podcast index dot. Org that's the gift. But he he was handing out some of them to select people podcast movement. I thought you got one. I if i did. I don't remember getting it off to a pilot. T shirts i got. So maybe there's one stuffed in there but just two point. Oh certified so awesome podcast. Expo dot com is the location for that. Go find it out. And then probably bigger news course. This kind never talks about the you. Well the prior author of pod He he never talked about the independent. Podcast spacey talked about npr and the bubble around new york. And maybe boston. But and maybe l. a little bit but the how pod news that it's been acquired in nick isn't going to be writing at anymore. He's turned that over to ashley carmen. Up that article. We covered a couple of weeks ago. About joe rogan losing Audience reach because of going exclusive so we re linked that article in the show today. But yeah. I don't hear any numbers for money. You know what was something like that get for for you know being acquired and you know what kind of reach did. Hot pod have or does hotpot have Compared to others out there he and built some event around that too. So maybe they got the event as well but We're going to have ashley not. I'm going to have a new media show on a couple of weeks right so When i have her on we'll we'll we'll talk about that but Get some indy coverage in that newsletter. As well as the other ones but you know. Sometimes it's hard to find news. You know i'm i do show prep for this show. We look for news and some weeks. There's not much going on indie or otherwise. So i i understand the difficulty in writing about that kind of thing. Well that I think there's enough going on that writing a news column where you just talking about. The news is not hard but writing dedicated long pieces. You know thousand fifteen hundred words which that newsletters known for that. That's that's big. That's a that's a big commitment. So we'll see how ashley does and i think. That transition happens in a couple of weeks. But speaking of some some agreements. Salem media joined the morning daily news segment with daybreak her inside. Now i'm not real familiar with this or you yup. I've been listening to it. A couple of weeks ago The daily wire came out with the morning news show. That comes out every morning. Called the morning wire in now Salem media is joining the fray with the daybreak insider wonder where they got. That name insider. You it's a pretty good you know it's a little fifteen twenty minute news thing every morning Supposed to show up around six o'clock in the morning and in it's It's joins the others. You know i know. Abc has won. You know there's a whole bunch of these morning news things and here's another one. I don't know if i've gained salem channels around here radio stations. But don't they most the do talk. Aren't they mostly talk of probably more conservative leaning talk Larry elder out. That's running for Running for governor in california. He's one of their talk show. People got it. Yeah because i remember in hawaii. There was a salem media station and it was all it was all. Talk to talk stations on hawaiian. I think we're both. I don't know if they were. Fm am yes. It doesn't matter that Anyway joining the podcasting spurs so awesome little bit news about podcast growth in new zealand while considering new zealanders can't go anywhere and you can't hardly get to new zealand. You wanted to right now. They don't have a lot. Lt david podcasting. So there's tremendous growth of audiences and beckons to podcast advertising. So be said by stop. Press dot co dot enzi.
