Thank You for Supporting Victims in Turkey & Syria

"So eternally grateful to you for your generosity and your goodwill. And a few times a year I come to you and I say, hey, let's do some good in the world. And we partner with some of these great charities that are doing God's work. And last month, you stepped up and collectively as a company, Salem media group raised over $300,000 to help the victims of the horrific earthquake in turkey and Syria. And we put that together at the last minute, it was kind of an add on thing we did. You were so incredible, I mean, I forget the number you donated over a 100,000 to our show, Hewitt's audience stepped up big time, collectively Salem raised. I think it was $313,000 in a few weeks. Now, next week, I'm going to start asking you to do a little bit for this Christian charity. This ministry called food for the poor. One of my favorite organizations. And they're the ones who spearheaded the effort to get relief supplies to the poor people of turkey and Syria. They are, they do God's work, and I'm not going to do the heavy ask this week. I'm going to start Monday a week from today. But if you want to get a jump on it, you feel a little kindness in your heart right now. Maybe you could put a little in the kitty for us. Maybe you can donate a little bit and get a jump on our campaign. Get a head start. Go to Mike online dot com and click on that mic on. Click on that food for the poor banner at the top of the page. It's going to put a smile on your face, doing good for people, saving lives, in places like Honduras, Jamaica, the Caribbean, all over the world. Food for the poor is a Christian ministry that they're doing great stuff.

A Friendly Competition to Support Turkey & Syria Earthquake Victims

"Yesterday, we made a last minute decision here at Salem media group to help food for the poor, rush, desperately needed supplies, food, medicine, water, to the devastated area, areas of turkey and Syria. And Hewitt came out of the gate strong. He started yesterday. He's raised well over 50,000. So far, my show has raised my listeners have donated over 12,000. At Christmas time, we raised $261,000 to help get bibles and Christmas gifts to kids at Christmas time through our prison fellowship campaign. So I know what you're capable of doing. And so yesterday, when I saw these numbers, I said, dear God, lord, please. Help us help the people of turkey and Syria? And help me beat Hugh Hewitt in the competition.

"Because God's always forgiving me, right? True. But have you ever heard that idea that you are the sum of the 5 people that you hang out with? That whoever you hang around with, you eventually become that person. So if you hang out with degenerates and derelicts, you become more degenerate. If you hang out with righteous people and good people, you become more good. We generally start to take on the character of the people around us. Whether or not you fully ascribe to that, I pretty much do. I think that we are pretty malleable people. And it is really important who we hang around with. So if that was true, think about this. The more we hang out with Jesus, the more we just want to be like Jesus. The more we see ourselves clearly and objectively, we're going to start to discover that we don't actually like the ways of wickedness, bit by bit, wickedness becomes more and more distasteful. Something that may have seemed fine before, we just start not liking. It's just because we're hanging out more and more with Jesus. So even though we're forgiven, again and again. But the more we actually confront our selfishness, the more we confront our patterns of fear of control, of shame, of anger as we begin to become aware of those things and awake to those things. And we consider who God is. We are going to keep failing. We're going to keep falling, but our desires begin to be for what God desires. It's really hard to spend time with the creator of the universe and then keep claiming that you're in charge of your reality and that you're in charge of your view on the world, because if we spend time with the creator of the world, we begin to see the world the way he sees the world. So you don't have to worry that you have a license to keep on sending. In fact, go try it. Try it. Try to just keep on sinning and see how it feels because the reality is it doesn't feel good. As soon as you start to spend time with God, as soon as you work through psalm 51 and you're willing to engage really clearly and objectively with your sin pattern, it's not that fun. We still fail, and we still make mistakes. But it doesn't feel that good. Because we start trying to do what God wants us to do and we want to love God with our whole heart and we want to love others the way God loves him. Those pricks of conviction will start to rise up a new and it does not feel good. And eventually, the pain of wickedness becomes more painful. And we don't want it anymore because the goodness of God and the goodness of his love and grace becomes so much better that that other stuff becomes more and more sort of undesirable. And that's the way it works when we spend time with God. So why do we consider first? Because when we consider when we start to be awake to our reality, we begin to engage with this idea that oh, there is a God of the universe and oh, things are not always right with me. There's a lot going on in here I'm trying to avoid and then when we stop avoiding it, we move to confession. We move to repentance. We can follow the ways of solving 51 knowing that our God is good, and that because of his faithfulness, he will create in us a new heart. He will renew a steadfast spirit within us. He will restore to us the joy of our Salvation and praise God. He will grant us a willing spirit to sustain us. They met everyone, talk with you next week. The Secular Left Is Scared

"Left, the secular left is scared. They don't understand that people who love America who voted for Donald Trump, people who love the God of the Bible, not only don't mean them harm, just the opposite, want to bless them. They don't know that. They think we're the enemy. And so they have, at this point, a scorched earth policy to destroy the opposition. Now, why am I saying that? I'm saying that. Because Salem media happens to have the money to pay for lawyers to defend against this stuff. It's why I'm on the air. Now it's hurt me personally because I share in dealing with the expenses for the legal stuff and being sued. It's mentioned in the article. But I just want to tell you, we are living in a new world. And they're coming for everybody. Now that's not a problem if you're willing to fight. If you're willing to fight, this is a wonderful time to be alive. But if you're behind the couch sucking your thumb pretending, they're going to come for somebody else and eventually you can go have your cereal, honestly, you've become part of the problem. You

"Anyway, that's a sidebar. As I read this New York Times article. So you guys can read this, how the rise of a conservative radio juggernaut at The New York Times. I read The New York Times so you don't have to. And they're complimenting the reach of this program about how it says here. Salem media group reaches more people than they realize. It was my favorite line of the whole thing. Their hosts are big names, and they have huge reach, which makes them one of the most powerful forces in conservative media that hardly anyone knows about. Well, thank you for finally noticing. So, okay, let's get into some news here that I think is really important. I want to go to this cut where it shows in very clear terms, our midterm situation, go to cut two. Worsening views of the economy, Nate, who does two thirds of people say it is getting worse. So I ask people, okay, well, let's turn to politics here. Who are you blame for this? What's the reason? Well, look, there's more folks now who say that democratic policies have harmed the economy than helped it. It's not the only reason they see for this, but their reasoning out of results, right? If they want to pinch, parties in power, okay, must be doing something wrong. And then by contrast, they think, well, Republican policies more likely would help Republican policies more likely can help. Now, but what are the other threats to our liberty to our republic that are bubbling up across the country? That are not getting coverage. For example, rank, choice, voting. Ranked choice voting is one of the most dangerous subterranean and serious risks to our country that almost nobody talks about. Ranked choice voting is going to determine whether or not the snake, Lisa Murkowski, or the patriot, Kelly shabaka become the next senator in Alaska ranked choice voting is a project of academics designed the destroy the conservative movement, the America first movement, the populist nationalist movement, and instead yield to technocrats and red states and radicals in blue states. Ranked choice voting is really pushed by this organization called fair vote, of which one of their board members is head of programming at George Soros's open society foundation just to give you an idea of kind of the family of funding that is behind this idea of ranked choice voting and it is spreading all across the country. Ranked choice voting is not where you go into a voting booth and vote for candidate X or Y, but you rank them in order of preference sounds nice sounds fun. It's actually awful. It's terrible. It's anti American. And if you were to use the technical definition of democracy, which I hate the word democracy, because no one actually knows what it means. It's anti democracy. This is a very simple explanation. I think this video is very helpful of what ranked choice voting is. Play cut 33. Ranked choice voting is another voting method, which allows voters to rank their candidates in order of preference. In a ranked choice voting election, a candidate needs to earn more than half of the votes to win. All first choices are counted, and if a candidate has a majority, then they win. Just like any other election. If not, the candidate with the fewest votes is eliminated, and voters who picked that candidate as number one will have their votes count for their next choice. This process continues until a candidate earns a majority and is declared the winner. Yeah, so that's not how it always works. You can win without 50% of the vote. You can win with a plurality. And so keeps on going to the second and third round of which, people that might say, well, I like Kelly shabaka, but you know I don't want a Democrat, so then I'll rank at least from Murkowski and Murkowski will not be the first choice a lot of Democrats, but she will be the second choice for a lot of Democrats. And eventually, through these different rounds of voting, you get the moderate even though that moderate is not the first choice plurality of which that's actually a way of flourishing and functioning election would work because there's so many candidates. So they flood the zone with all sorts of different candidates. They confuse voters of this methodology and it's going to give a hand up. It's going to give an incumbent advantage, if you will, to people like Lisa Murkowski against Kelly shabaka. Well, ranked choice voting is on the march. It is well funded the left knows that they could destroy our movement via rank choice voting. And it's already in place in Maine and Alaska. And this cycle for all of our patriots in Nevada. We have to pull the alarm and warn you that there is something called question three, which is going to be on the Nevada ballot. And this is a chance to stop ranked choice voting in its tracks. Look, I want to tell you my latest discovery, it's amazing. I guarantee this is the hottest super nutrient packed new product to boost your brain and overall well-being on the market. "I want to thank our new publicist, The New York Times, the rise of a conservative radio juggernaut. Thank you an entire article about Salem media about the impact that we have here on this program. Radio stations across the country. And of course, our wonderful partners at real America's voice, but this is more about kind of our radio reach and it goes on and on and on about how Salem media has a massive influence. Nicole hemmer, a political historian, at Vanderbilt university, the center of medical mutilation of children and author of the messengers of the right, conservative media and the transformation of American politics said Salem's effect was far reaching. They're using their many different properties for coordinated message approach misinformation which is undermining democracy. I just love it. It's an incantation at this point. Do you notice how they don't call us racist as much anymore? Because that doesn't work. The hyper racialization of American politics actually isn't resonating as much and something that I do want to comment on about this midterm cycle and I said this early and I don't think this has received nearly the platform that I think it deserves is have you noticed how we're not talking about race this midterm election? Have you noticed? That we're not talking about BLM or systemic racism. It is a losing issue for the Democrats. Now they replaced it with fascists, but this is actually a little bit dare I say a chance for us to celebrate just a little bit of a victory just a little bit. We pushed back hard on Juneteenth. We pushed back hard on Floyd of palooza. We pushed back hard on chaz, the Capitol Hill autonomous zone. We've pushed back hard on critical race theory. And yeah, there's some pockets of radicals and post modern insurgents across the country, but generally Democrats now realize it is a political liability, not a political benefit to run on the hyper racialization of America. And we did that because we did not give an inch. Now other Republicans did, like Mike Braun, who I think has atoned for his mistake when he said, well, BLM is a wonderful organization. Boom, Tucker went after him. Or that woman that used to run the think tank in D.C. where she said, well, we need to have some sort of racial reconciliation. Boom, we went after her. One after the other after the other, we went after Braun as well. And guess what? Now the Democrats have lost one of their most potent tools. Now they have to call us a bunch of semi fascists and attackers of democracy and that just doesn't resonate as much. You see, a suburban house mom, her great fear is one day being called a racist. It doesn't really bother her to call be called a threat to democracy. That sounds so nerdy and wonky. A threat to democracy like, yeah, okay, great. Now, I mean, in PhD circles and in graduate classes, I guess that's a zinger insight. You're a threat to democracy. But being called a racist, I mean, that appeals to almost no one wants to call the racist. And they don't do it anymore. Because they realize it doesn't stick like it used to..

"salem media" Discussed on How to Study the Bible

"So what does this mean for me? What does this mean for you today? I wrote down a couple of things that I take away from this story. Just the basics that I can carry with me into the day. And the first thing I wrote is that even when all hope seems lost, God will still provide. Do you feel like you're in an impossible situation? Does it seem like there is absolutely no way out. Have you worked your plans and exhausted your plans? And you have nothing left to give. Friend, brother, sister. If that is you today, I pray that that would bring you to your niece. And then on your knees, you would call out to God and say, God, you are a God who provides will you provide my daily bread today, daily provision. In whatever you need emotionally, whatever you need financially, whatever you need materially, that God would provide for you because he says that it is the essence of his name. That he is a God who provides. If things seem impossible if hope seems lost, remember that God can still provide the second thing I wrote down is that sometimes going backward in our story can give us the strength to face what's ahead. I wonder as Abraham made that trek to the top of the mountain with his son with him, carrying a knife, carrying wood for the sacrifice, but having no sacrifice with him. And as he walked up that mountain, I wonder if he retraced his own story. His own impossible story where God intervened in his life and said through your offspring, I will establish a covenant. And then actually gave him that offspring through his wife who was barren and in his old age that the impossible became possible already through God. That did Abraham rehearse that story so that when he went into another impossible situation, he remembered that God is worth trusting and that God can be trusted. French, have you done that? If you are feeling discouraged, if you're feeling like there is nowhere to go, if you just feel like you are trapped, have you gone back in your story, to remember the places that God has been faithful to you again and again. And allow going backward in your story to give you the encouragement and the strength you need to persevere today. Finally, our faith in Christ substitution is built on generations upon generations of God showing his faithfulness to us as his people. Our faith in Christ's sacrifice didn't just start with Christ. It started all the way back in genesis. This has always been the story. This has always been the way. And we get to see it. We are God's church. We are God's living building, his living sort of expression of what it looks like to be in Christ, that God, who did not stay his hand, who did allow his one and only son to become a sacrifice for us. So that we can be in communion with God. That is true for you today. It is as simple. My Friends, as confessing with your mouth that Jesus is lord, that Jesus is the one who can do what no one else can do. It's as simple as saying in your heart. I can't do it. I can't make my way to God on my own. I can't work my way to God. I can't be perfect. I can't get it all right. And I've done wrong. And I've done wrong time and time and again, and I've mistrusted God time and time. And again, it's a confessing that to God. And merely believing that Jesus is Laura, that God did raise him from the dead that he did not hold back the sacrifice, but he also resurrected Jesus from the dead as our proof living proof that we ourselves can have eternal life. And that prayer is simple. That's a prayer of commitment. That's a prayer of Salvation. And it's as easy as bringing your heart to God. And allowing God to enter your life to bring the peace that you are seeking to bring the joy that comes even when circumstances are difficult to bring direction and purpose into your life. This is who God is. This is how much he loves you, that he is actively continuing to work out his plan. Still today in 2022, still today, whatever place you find yourself today that God is working out his plan in you and through you, that the blessing that he promised for Abraham is still promised for you today. You are that valuable to him. You are his treasure, come to him. Allow him to meet you exactly where you are today. Friends would you pray with me? Father in heaven. We read these stories and they seem far away but God, the idea of your faithfulness again and again in our own lives is not far away. Holy Spirit would you bring to mind memories moments? Interactions where there was this intersection of your provision in our lives every single person who's listening right now, lord. And would you allow that reminder to strengthen us today to allow us to lift our head and lift our eyes to fix our eyes on you Jesus the author and perfector of our faith? That we might walk through this world knowing that you have given us purpose and that you have blessed our lives and that you are a God who provides. In Jesus name we pray amen. Amen, everyone, see you next week. How to study the Bible with Nicole unis is a production of live audio and Salem media. "20 16. We had before us. We were staring down the barrel of a Hillary Clinton presidency. Only Donald Trump could prevent it. Thank God he did. Thank God he did. This was a recurring mantra for me during my local show here in Dallas Fort Worth at any time I would fill in for anybody here in the Salem media group, thank God he won, thank God he won, thank God. He won. The notion of a second term arises in 2020, that didn't happen, and of course there's another whole slew of talk shows we can do on that. And probably haven't probably will. You know, here's why, here's my 2020 was enormously important. We didn't get what we wanted. We didn't get the result we wanted for various reasons. And so see what happens? Countries going to hell. I've just everything is just on the hot rails into the Lake of fire. Because Biden is president. This is the worst presidency of my lifetime and it's not even close. Obama looks positively harmless and Clinton looks positively compared to these people.

'2000 Mules' Is About Saving America

"We've got a crazy day here because right now I'm talking to my friend dinesh d'souza about 2000 mules. If you haven't seen it, if you haven't seen it I'm pretty sure you're a communist. Now, you don't have to accept that label. You can just say, no, I'm not. But honestly, people need to see this movie. I'm not shy about it. I'm told by Salem, which is Salem media, which runs this radio program that I have to declare that I'm in the movie that I'm financially tied into the movie or something like this. Ladies and gentlemen, let me just tell you, my part is very small. I play Evel Knievel. Remember him, the daredevil, a red, white, and blue, vinyl jumpsuit. I jump, and that's not true. But I'm in the film very briefly. The point is, we need to care about truth. And so I would say to everyone, dinesh d'souza, who made the film and I who have the privilege of being involved with it, it's really, it's clearly not about the money. It's about saving America. It's about not allowing this sick level of corruption to be normalized. And that's basically what's been happening, the worst case of it ever was very recently. It's so ugly. If you're not disgusted by it, you're dead inside. You don't believe in truth. I don't know how you can live with yourself if you don't care that the greatest country in the history of the world does not have free elections, has people manipulating data and playing with our lives. There is just nothing more horrific. And you ought least to be interested in it. I beg of you not to be so cynical, but there are many people who are cynical. Dinesh, I encounter them all the time. Many conservatives are like, oh, there's nothing we can do. There's nothing we can do. And I think you are part of the problem. If you have that attitude that there's nothing you can do, it's people like that that are helping us to do nothing. Yeah, and you know, I wondered a little bit about why that attitude is somewhat prevalent on our side. Is it just a certain type of laziness? And by laziness, I mean, if you admit that there's something that can be done, then you have to do it. And so sometimes people will say to me, things like, well, what's next for the movie? Are you doing a sequel? And I'm like, listen, I've made a film. It points to a serious problem. The film is a sort of a handoff to who. To you. Why? Because we now need more people to watch drop boxes. We need more people to volunteer to be poll watchers. We need more people to be poll judges. Groups like true the vote provide training for you to do that. So if you acknowledge the problem and you're willing to take it seriously, then you need to do your

"With Salem media, does it feel different to you, boys? Like right away, a little different in the studio this morning pipe. A little bit, yeah, I just sort of, some new life, new energy. Yeah, it's a new day for the happy run. It's really what it is. Absolutely. Is your wife looking at you a little bit differently now? She always looks at me like I'm a little bit different, but that might not be what you're asking. Yeah, no. Big R has the money changed you. Do you feel like you're a different person? You don't even know who you are. Like you splash a little water on your face in the morning and look at the mirror and you don't like who you see staring back at you. That was difficult this morning for sure. I woke up early because I really needed a process. So I needed to walk through my need to walk through the grounds that surrounds my estate and just kind of rethink, really. What are we doing? What are we about? Who am I? And how does this it's not really a phase in life. It's not a season in life. It's an identity. It's an identity. Absolutely. So I don't know. I might be struggling with it, but you know, I think you guys can help me with that. You know, so yeah, so just being honest, you know, just want to be honest. No, I appreciate that. Just put it online and let anybody who wants to see it. Watch it. Now, first of all, I will say that there have been a number of sort of pirated sites that have done exactly that. I mean, there have been dozens, maybe even hundreds of sites that put the movie up and not supposed to do that. And typically when you have a movie, all movie companies do this, they hire a digital piracy company to identify those sites and take those down. This kind of piracy, by the way, happens with all movies. I think it's happened far more with this film in part because of just the high level of interest in the film. And so look, I'm not freaked out about that. Debbie is a little bit more than me. That is like, she's like, guys, wait a minute, isn't this a film about fraud? Isn't this a film about stealing? Isn't this a film about stealing people's boats? And so, you know, is it really appropriate to be like stealing the film itself? So she has a point. Now, but I saw this just the other day on social media and this guy goes, you know, haven't you already made a profit, you should offer this for free. I'm thinking to myself, wait a minute. Do you work like that? I mean, once you've paid your bills, you then go to your employer and say, listen, I've already met my immediate needs. And so I'm going to work for the rest of the time for free. No, you don't do that. No one does that. And particularly when you see, we're not in the nonprofit business. If we're in the nonprofit business, we'd be going to people to donate money to make these movies and their motive is just to get the movie out. And then we could go to them and say, listen, the movie's doing well, you know, so let's just offer it for free. And since it's a donation from you, you don't really care to you. But it's not like that. We go typically to

"And every time a reporter from ABC and NBC and CBS are all the rest of them, say that's a lie. They're a liar because they don't know. You can't possibly know. What was done with the millions and millions of mail in ballots? The national Susan knows what was done with the portion of them, and that's the genesis of the movie 2000 in mules. There are 415 movie theaters around the country that are playing 2000 mules. Salem media group executive produced the movie. And as of now, the movie is still going to be in theaters today tomorrow and Wednesday. It looks like the movie is going to finish in the top ten or 11 of all the movies in America over the weekend, which is amazing, considering there were only 400 some theaters. Where 2000 meals was being played. Some of the top grossing movies had 4000 theaters. 2000 mules had 415. So, a huge success continuing,

Dinesh D’Souza Explains Partnership With Salem Media Over '2000 Mules'

"And we've never really partnered like this. Talk a little bit about the importance of your team partnering with our team for 2000 mules. Well, first of all, I think it's to the great credit of Salem as a company. I mean, it's a public company to take on a topic like this that has so many minefields and so many risks, I think is a testament to the great courage of ALM in stepping behind this. The second thing that's kind of funny, Mike that I think you'll appreciate, as you know, Salem hosts are not of one mind on this issue. There was a lot of variety of points of view. Perhaps Eric metaxas and gorka leaning more to the idea of, yeah, that was stolen election, but certainly Dennis prager and Charlie Kirk and Larry elder were not on that same page. And when Salem first suggested to me the idea of putting the hosts in the movie, I wasn't quite sure how that would work. And then I got the idea of kind of bringing them together, telling them nothing about the movie, just talking about what they thought originally, then showing them the evidence and recording their spontaneous reaction. I knew they'd have a lot of intelligent questions, and I thought, well, those are going to be the questions on the mind of the audience. And then we'll sum up by asking them their conclusions. So it worked beautifully essentially what we did is we took this Salem host and made them part of the plot of the movie.

"It's 2000 mules. Dinesh d'souza, my fabulous colleague. It's got the incredible work more than one petabyte of data, 40 million minutes of CCTV camera footage from Catherine engelbrecht through the vote and Greg Phillips. It's 90 minutes of your life. Okay, there is a cutout there from the British board casting corporation that went viral for all the right reasons and it has to do with my next guest. So let's just sit back, I've got my 2000 mules mug here with a little bit of a caffeinated drink in it. And for 40 seconds, enjoy this clip. You reject President Biden's comments about systemic racism and it being a stain on the whole nation. Yes, President Biden is an idiot in my personal opinion. And he's just talking because he's a politician. Systemic racism. I mean, if you look at Joe Biden himself, you know, he spoke at a glucose clan members funeral and did the eulogy of Robert Byrd. I mean, he is white supremacy and racism if you want to want to say that is the case. And now he's the president. So if he really cared about white supremacy and racism, he should step down as the president because he's an exemplification of that very thing. These people are just running their mouth and they're not being honest, we don't have a problem with racism in our country. We have a problem with people not following the law. We also have a problem with politicians making up things so they can get reelected. And idiot who eulogized members of the KKK. That's why Brandon Titan. I don't think he's been invited back many times for BBC since then, and I've got some big news as we say in Hungary, one eye is smiling, one eye is crying. Larry elder has gone off to greener pastures, but his show is being taken over by the officer Tatum and he's on deck Brandon. Welcome to America first. Thanks for having me on. All right, so I have to ask, is the BBC invited you back many times since then? Oh, never again, and they probably fired the person who invited me the first time. I don't think they did any research and they did not know who I was. So the guy failed miserably. That's weird. I think the same reason that I haven't been invited. Oh, Chris Cuomo has been fired, but after I was in his show, he never invited me back and who's the guy who looks like an old wizard grandmother. Oh, Anderson Cooper. When I went on Anderson Cooper, and I said, you do know more people watch reruns of Scooby-Doo on the Cartoon Network than watch your show. He didn't take that very well, but I guess the truth hurts. Okay, Brandon, welcome aboard to what is called by the insiders, the greatest faculty in radio. It is the Salem team and you will be on air. When do you start? When's your first show? On Monday, may 16th. So next Monday, I'll be ready to go. Are you ready? Is mister podcast officer Brian and Tatum author of beaten black and blue? You may think you're already Brandon, but are you sure? Well, look, we're going to find out come Monday, you know, I feel like I was born to talk and give my opinion and I've been relatively successful online now. So I'm praying that things go the same way on the radio. I'm pretty confident that I can get on the entertainment and have a good time. Especially with guys like you and other guys on the team, I think I'll be all right. He says he's pretty successful on the interwebs. Dude, how many followers have you got now on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram? What's the total? Yeah, I think all of it together is over 3 million. I still feel like I should do better than that. I need to be more consistent. So I think I've done okay, but I got high hopes of things that I want to accomplish. I feel like I need to do a lot better. Well, if you just think about the Salem clock, I'll be your warmup act for three hours, and then you can just pick up the pieces after that. It'll be easy. All right, for those who aren't familiar with you, you've been on my show before. Tell them who you are, what you did for a living, you're involvement with black sitting, how you ended up at Salem. Yeah, that's an interesting story. I hope you have a little bit of time. So I was a police officer and Tucson, Arizona. I got political when I was a police officer. I found out pretty quickly that I was not a Democrat. And I started making videos and they went viral in 2017. I got offered to be a spokesperson of a conservative news organization. So let's start with those viral videos. What was the topic? Was it like the BBC slamming down this garbage about systemic racism? What were the topics of those first viral videos Brandon? Yeah, very, very similar to that. The first video I made, I went to a Trump rally, back when Trump was supposed to be this racist Hitler esque type person. I went to a rally and that was not my experience. I thought he was great. Everybody there was fun and we had a great time and he was speaking about the things that I believe in in America and the protesters were the lunatics. And I made a video first video I ever made and it went viral. My second video that I made that has over 6 million views at the time was about the fraudulent, probably the most trash quarterback in American history, Colin Kaepernick, he came out in Neil for the national anthem and I went off. Just explaining the fact that, you know, you're disrespecting men and women who put their life on the line. It has anything to do with it. It does not have anything to do with your fake claim of racism in this country. And that blew up. And so that kind of led me.

Most people, including me, hardly know what that is, but you're a legal scholar. So maybe we should start there. Why should people think that roe V wade could be overturned in June? Yeah, it was great to see you in D.C. and to participate in the march for life and isn't it amazing that 2022 could be the year that on the 49th anniversary of versus wade, which was the most unconstitutional horrific decision for abortion in our nation's history that attempted to allow abortion to, which is a medical intervention that is specifically designed to cause the death of an unborn human child. That disaster decision could actually be a return and the reason that we should have hope and confidence in this is because the oral arguments that were in December and I listened to the two hours of the court's questioning. It seems that and of course we can't always tell everything in the justices persuasions from their questioning, but it seemed based on the line of questioning that at least 6 of the justices are convinced that there is no constitutionally protected right to abortion. Here's the email from the HR department and great people incidentally in our HR department, vaccination, status, submission, requirement. And, you know, is they explain osha has issued an emergency temporary standard requiring that employers collect information about the vaccination status of its employees, although there have been many court challenges this emergency temporary standard is going into effect, therefore we must comply. So the email goes through this whole thing about having to show our proof of vaccination, if not, we can get an exemption, employees who are unvaccinated or do not wish to provide proof of vaccination. "Detroit, the Salem Media Group on the NASDAQ, as S A L M. Happened. Hello? Welcome, folks. This is the Eric Metaxas show and I said that Trump would be inaugurated on January 20th. And evidently I was wrong, So I'm a false prophet. You're gonna take me outside the camp in stone Me? Can I throw the first stone? Actually, No. You know what I did say that I didn't say it prophetically and I didn't say that. God said it to me. I said it. Well, I guess I try to be honest about it. I said it out of a sense of hope on yearning and I did believe that the truth would come to light by January 20th about what happened in the election. And obviously he didn't. So I was wrong because yesterday from the TV and what the heck Biden was inaugurated, so evidently, um, but it's it's we're in a very strange place right now, because I still have the unfortunate sense that, um The election was not what it ought to have been. Now. Now when you say something like that, you have to say Oh, but I'm not calling for violence. The very fact that I have to qualify things and actually have to make the disclaimer. I'm not calling for violence is so sick and despicable that it tells you where we are Another was it's because of that that you know something's fishy. The fact that I say Oh, I'm not violent. I'm not a I'm not a racist. I'm not a crook. If you have to say that, right? Something's messed up. But we're at a point now where the other side has so demonized those of us who either supported Trump. Or we're of the opinion that the election was Not transparent. That tells you everything you need to know. And in this country, we have freedom of speech. We have freedom. And when you demonize people with whom you disagree, you're guilty. You are guilty. We don't demonize groups in America in in the land of freedom. We don't do that. And that's what tells me unfortunately. That we're going through some tough stuff I want to say up front. My faith is in God, where it's always been. It's never been in Donald Trump. And anybody who says that is also being really sloppy on Bsirske, But you know what? It's a free country. You could be slopping. Absurd. Go ahead. Yeah, no, I want to say First of all, Alban and Chris. Hello. Oh, hello. Can I just point something out? I think it's obvious to all of us. Now. It's funny how Russia had their Uncle Joe. Now we have our uncle Joe. And I also thought of something a song. That kind of goes along with what happened yesterday, and there's Uncle Joe. He's a moving kind of slow at the White House usurped White House. You served White house. Um, are you calling him an ad in Asia? A latter day Ed in Asia, So I got to get my shit. I gotta get my dictionary or my bible or something I did Nisha at an Isa was the third. I think son of David on. He figured David was old on. I guess I think absolutely. And whoever else were dead, and so he assumed that he would be the next king. And in fact, it was Solomon who was supposed to be the next King on agonized decided. Tow get inaugurated, anyway. Um, it is a weird thing album because in a free country, the idea that I mean, look, I've been talking about this for years that because we don't understand our freedom. It's why I wrote my book. If you can keep it and I hope everybody will get a copy of if you can keep it and read it. I don't care if you do it on Kindle or Twitter. I mean Twitter. If you could kindle or or, you know, however you get it. You could. Oh, by the way, I can say this. You can get copies..
