"Now, they need a six. Yeah. They need an extra horn. Say something that's probably inappropriate. I don't know what the rules are anymore. I know that beer needs to get a little more Horning or something. Yeah. That's what I was going to go with. I think you're fine there. Yeah. I I just didn't really know. But yeah, it was it was not a bad beer it. It's sort of like a like a shining beer or shining. Rock. I I guess. That type of a taste to it. Nice IP a good job and kind of a cool can and it was so hard to get because it was sold out just about everywhere. The folks that brought it into me and said, hey, I'll buy a six pack on the way home. And he says I make a call and goes up. We just saw the last one. I when you sent me the picture of it. I thought you know, what maybe I'll run out and get lightning one because lightning legs a good beer every now and again on our her and her husband like two pads. And then I thought immediately what you said is going out there because this is going to be a wild goose chase down not finding this stuff at really hard to find just so hard to find. And it was kind of cool. It was a great promotion great idea and Sam Adams actually had one. Also, that's another can. But forget it. And you're never you're never going to get that they were lining up at nine in the morning for the four thirty doors open to get that tan. Like, you're never getting it. Yeah. Yeah. But you know, you probably need it for that put game because that probably put your sleep too. Wasn't much of a game. This. You said make sure you have lots of food and snacks in India you needed it. Because at least you could be in the third quarter. Hey, is there any more that pulled pork? That's I think maybe I'll go get it more of that or any pizza level. Kind of like you're doing that thing. Yeah. I I like it somebody posted up on our Facebook. They had the the the Rams plane landing in Atlanta. And it says the Rams only touchdown. That was pretty much true. But we're talking about Chick-fil-A right down there, and they they refuse because of their company policy and somebody tweeted at some point what are the Rams receivers and Chick-fil-A Avin common? Neither of them can get open on Sundays in Atlanta. I'm telling you that game put me to sleep. But but at least the outcome was good for us. And exactly and that parade didn't put you to sleep. All's well that ends. Well, right, right. I mean, I guess you can't the Super Bowls have been so good for last. I don't know probably a decade. The AFC championship was one of the most memorable games in the history of the AFC championship. So let's not get greedy. People are right. Hey, let's talk some food. Now. What do you got coming up Saturday on the show and then Sunday on the radio show? Well, we'll be talking restaurants in Salem mass. A lot on the radio show this weekend. And matter of fact, we'll be featuring Rockefellers in Salem right there right on the main street. I'd say, you know, pretty much the tourist area. There's some great restaurants that are there. I I've never been to Rockefeller's either. Oh, you have been around for about twenty years. So I'm a little slow going there. Beautiful restaurants set in an old a Bank at one time. And they still have the Bank vault there, and they made it into a little private room. Table for two. I love that. Yeah. And they say that's where you go to pop the question. Yeah. Absolutely. A anniversary type place or whatever it is. I thought that was a really cool clever idea. So you actually see that on tomorrow's TV's show. And it was just it's just fun the film there Salam has really come along a lot of great restaurants and a lot of theme. Concept restaurants and Salam, I mean, you've always had fence fence was AM George carries. Yup. Wind up actually, moved the original one out to Victoria station. The last one I was still in existence, but they had that beautiful location in the water. So he moved over there. And they also and sea level right in the parking lot from that level and that area..

"With Dan Ray on WBZ NewsRadio. Four coming up here on nightside. And we're going to get back to the bread and butter of this program, which is politics before I do that. Let me congratulate are busy box office winner colored back to the nine o'clock hour. Hope Kathryn Nolan is still listening, Catherine is from Tewksbury social here name balanced. She won the four pack of tickets to visit the Peabody Essex museum in Salem, mass presenting empress of China's Forbidden City now through February tenth for influence schedules. Visit P E M dot org, Catherine you're gonna like that empress of China's Forbidden City up at the at the Peabody Essex museum in Salem, mass. Congratulations to you. Now, it was another. We talked earlier tonight as I'm sure, you know, for a couple of hours about Liz warn, drinking a beer, basically trying to humanize herself. And I think she's having trouble. However, tell who else I think has had some trouble in recent years, and that's Mitt Romney. Now, we know Mitt Romney pretty well here in Massachusetts he served as governor from two thousand four two thousand and two excuse me two thousand to two thousand six when he decided not to run for reelection. So he could run for president. Lost the Republican nomination to John McCain two thousand eight you might remember. And then he came back, and he ran in two thousand and twelve won the Republican nomination in two thousand and twelve but suffered the same fate that John McCain did and lost to President Obama into thousand in twelve now Mitt Romney has been very active politically over time. And he wrote an op Ed in the Washington Post. He is now or has not yet. He'll soon be a freshman. Senator freshman Republican Senator from Utah. It's called a backbencher down there. And he first line of his op Ed in the Washington Post today. Trump presidency made a deep descent in December. The departure Defense Secretary Jim Madison White House chief of staff. John F Kelly the appointment of senior persons of lesser experience. The abandonment of allies who fight beside us in the president's thoughtless claim that America has long been a sucker in world affairs, all defined his presidency down. He then goes on. And I'm gonna not gonna read the whole op-ed. But clearly Mitt Romney doesn't like Donald Trump. And he has every right not to like, Donald Trump. There's no doubt about that. But what I don't understand about Mitt Romney. Okay. Is this was Mitt Romney. During the campaign of 2016 blasting Donald Trump and calling Donald Trump a phony, which is fine, which was fine. This is mid back. Again, I believe this is from the early part of the two thousand sixteen campaign. He pulled mill punches there's plenty of evidence that Mr. Trump is a con man fake. Mr. Trump has changed his positions not just over the years. But over the course of the campaign and Ku Klux Klan daily for three days in a row. We will only really know if he's a real deal or a phony if he releases his tax returns and the tape of his interview with the New York Times, I predict that there are more bombshells in his tax returns. I predict that he doesn't give much if anything to the disabled into our veterans I predict that he told the New York Times that is immigration talk is just that talk. And I predict that this. Spite his promise to do. So I made over a year ago that he will never ever release his tax returns. Never that's a returns under audit. Not even the returns that are no longer being audited. He has too much to hide nor will he authorize the release of the tapes that he made with the New York Times if I'm right? You'll have all the proof you need to know that Donald Trump is indeed a phony. This pretty clear this was bit in early two thousand sixteen. He took a stand of integrity, and and and put a stake in the ground and identify Donald Trump and called him, vile. I think. Thing. Trump gets elected. And guess who trotted out to have dinner with Donald Trump? Mitt Romney because Mitt Romney thought hoped that he might become the secretary of state. So Mitt Romney went from calling the guy. Horrific names, which I'm assuming Mitt Romney really in his heart of hearts believed right to this after a lovely dinner almost like a candlelight dinner with then president elect Trump. I.

The New York Times and CNN and all of these phony media outlets will be out of business, folks. They'll be out of business because will be nothing to write and there'll be nothing of interest. So nobody is done what this administration has done. It's funny that he said that yesterday after the election, a friend of mine was elected to a six-year term in Boston. I guess you can figure it out consider most of my friends lost in Boston. But this friend of mine was elected to a six-year term and the Globes been after all these years all these years ever since I can remember. But after him almost as long as they've been after me now, I said I said the good news is if you ever decide to run for another term is six years in twenty twenty four there won't be a Boston Globe around. I'm pretty sure of that. And he laughed. I said, I'm not sure about the herald. But I'm positive about the globe. You know? What's funny? How we know. Watching Trump on dot com was actually from wolf Blitzer cutting to Trump's response today anonymous article. And I do think he's getting a little bit of direction from Sarah Huckabee where I think they're trying to show him rather than answered their question. They're gonna take him. They're not they're never gonna take him. When it's something positive. So what he's doing is. He's having them take the footage of him talking. And then he immediately goes to we've done this. We've done that he spent like ten minutes going through all of his accomplishments lowest black unemployment every he was just listing them and it stinks for someone like wolf Blitzer because he inadvertently puts that on air. He doesn't want that out there to his people. Right. Well, I mean, that's the way to do it. I mean when the with Dan rather back before he was busted as a fake news avatar when he was going after vice President, George Bush, eighty eight. Bush said, yeah, you can interview me live on the CBS evening news. And so so, Dan rather starts starts asked him questions. He says, hey, Dan, would you like your entire career to be judged on that that moment went on a fit of pique you walked off the set because the tennis matches were running long, and Dan rather just totally melted down because he wasn't expecting that. He was he was Dan rather was used to going into an editing both, and it's and it's nice to go into an editing booth. I could tell you and playing around with the tape just cutting up the way you want. And then when you want to get through a a pause that doesn't make you look that good. You just throw in a cut away of yourself. Yeah. And when I watched Trump yesterday what I got out of it was how many times he had said no administration has ever done. What we've done in the past few years. He must've said that line four times. The you didn't really leave it thinking about the New York Times article you left the video thinking. Wow, they really have accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. I know I know. The news came out today that the the unemployment rate is at a fifty year low a fifty year low is that getting any play whatsoever. I mean, even even even Saint Cory Booker has been has been banished. We may be tomorrow's poll question. He wasn't running on our schedule. What can I say? What can I sometimes I would switch it? But this is this is the bigger story. So grace what's the poll question? What are the results that's far? Who is the New York Times is anonymous is it a Trump appointee? Or is it an Obama holdover? I think it's an Obama. Holdover ninety one percent say it's a holdover the I know there was a morning radio show named somebody today somebody whose name you'd recognize and he he's both a Trump appointee. And an Obama holdover I won't name them until we until until somebody somebody nails it down. I don't I don't wanna be. I'm not Carl Bernstein. You know, I'm I'm not Kevin Cowan not one of the best reporters on the plane. I'm not Brian Williams. Okay. Eight four four very fake. Well, I'm gonna read this below take a call before we go to the break. And I'll read the story, John you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead. John. How a guarantee all. This is is someone on the left attempt to control the news cycle. You got Brett cabin is about to be confirmed. Get Bruce ratting on all his cronies. I guarantee it's just the New York Times trying to control the news cycle, right? Because we're winning Howie. I. You know, they thought Bob Woodward was going to like. Be a be a thorn in Trump's side for at least a week jot and that story just faded right out because it's all it's all BS again. He can't he can't stand up any of the things he said. And even if he could even if he could stand up, you know, Mark Stein at a really good description of a Bob Woodward book the other day said he said, he writes, like five hundred pages with all this detail that you don't care about. And then they give it they leak it. The Washington Post is all newspaper, and they come up with the five or six tidbits that are semi newsworthy. And that you read them, and you say, maybe this is a good book. And you may be order it you may be by it, and then it arrives. And you realize this book is terrible. It's like when they show you the best thing on the trailer. And then you go see the movie, and you realize the only good prior to what you already saw the trailer. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. So I mean, I was thinking today driving in. What was the last one was the last time?.
