"So the best thing you can do is continue to pray for this president. Pray for this country vote. And protect yourself. Because trump derangement syndrome is real, and you can look around and see people who you thought. You once knew doing stuff. That's just just well downright despicable. Like Mayor Kate. We'll talk about her at nine zero three. Can't go is the mayor of Phoenix? She's also. As a gentlemen, children of all ages. To. Serve A. The winter nationals, you spend a lot of time on television. RUNNING DOWN This states. Efforts in battling the. Virus! She is of course a democrat. And the America you know we were the hot spot last week. But of the hottest spots in the world. This pandemic. Is Spreading, but so is the misinformation. And this weekend you had a kid guy ago. Go on and make just a an incredible claim. Irresponsible and dangerous claim. And these lies, and this misinformation is is dangerous because it's putting people in fear. What did she say? She went on MS NBC's she was talking to Chuck Todd. And this is what she said. It has been such a tough situation out here I. Have Constituents who waited. Eight hours thirteen hours to get a test and you know many people. Won't wait that long unless they desperately need one, it is quite hot. We are predicting temperatures that could hit a hundred and seventeen degrees this weekend MARICOPA. County, which is our county, public health agency just announced that. They are going to be getting refrigerated trucks. Because the ABRAZOS healthcare system has run out of more beds. He's very scary out here I wish we had given mayors the authority to act earlier. You're out of more space to the ABRAZOS. Healthcare system has run out of beds, and the county is getting refrigerated trucks. It's not throughout the county, but it one very important his system. it turns out that that Mayor Kate Queen Kate was lying. Lying. The health facility actually did bring in refrigerated trucks, but they brought him in as backup. We are not running out of mortgage beds. We had Osama stone who is the chief of staff for city? Councilman Sal Desisto on the show earlier and he said you know. This is routine. This is what hospitals do every year. They bring in refrigerated truck. Because for backup because you have people who are dying, people will die what he related deaths. This year mayor K. Google turned it into a pandemic. A pandemic of lies. Last week we city councilman Saudis you in the. Central Reagan he was telling us how the money that the feds have sent down here for testing has been mismanaged by mayor key Geigo. Makita SPEC because I. Want I. Want you to listen to this again? She's complaining about testing. She's already been given money for that. She either is incompetent and doesn't know how to set it up or she's corrupt. Both. But here is the mayor of Phoenix. Television stoking the fear with lies, it has been such a tough situation out here. I have constituents who waited. Eight hours thirteen hours to get stopped tape I. don't even understand why somebody would do that. What is your mindset where you are going to wait in your car to drive up to take test? You'RE GONNA. Wait eight hours. I don't for the life of me get that. And that to me speaks to fear as well. You must be very very afraid if you're going to do something like that. Imagine a virus so deadly. You need to be tested to find out you have it. That's why I can't go along with this, but anyway mayor Que Geigo and you know many people. Won't wait that long unless they desperately need one. It is quite hot. We are predicting temperatures hot. Why would you desperately need a test? You someone explained to me. What is the? How could you be? The I gotTa have this test. I have to have this test. Stoking fear one hundred and seventeen degrees this weekend, Maricopa County, which is our county public health agency just announced that. They are going to be getting refrigerated trucks because the ABRAZOS system has run out of more beds is very scary out here. I wish we had given mayors the authority to act earlier. You're out of more space, so the ABRAZOS healthcare system has run out of more beds, and the county is getting refrigerated trucks. It's not throughout the county, but but it one very important his system so why it's so long by. Governor's office put out information. chastising or setting the record straight a chastising the the mayor. Why is she doing this? Does she really believe that this is what is going on? Is She really that deceived? When we talk about this issue. I we're. We're split and we're split primarily because of the media. Cova cases are going down. We are not in the pandemic anymore. Death, the most important number that everybody should be looking at as how many people are dying because of covert. Not that many. Not that, that's not happening. They are, but not that many. Plus what's not being talked about is that we've found an effective treatment. Multiple Treatments. And they're not talking about just hydrochloric when there's a lot of stuff on the market if you get this. Guy That ninety nine percent chance of recovering from it. But, that's not what the cake goggles of the world are talking about. It's really scary out here. It's really scary. We add the break in refrigerated trucks, because we don't have any more more bets and the governor should have given us. The opportunity should have given it to the mayor the power. No, because if everybody would wear masks. We wouldn't be scary situation. Is Absurd. And it doesn't make a difference if she gets called out by it for it. She's going to continue to do this because it's profitable for her. and. She doesn't care about the fact that she's trashing the city and she's trashing the state with these wild accusations. This is an elected official. Going on television, lying about people dying, stay from a from a pandemic from sorry a virus, it is no longer a pandemic..

That came out that they still think that it's too early. Be closing down you know. Everyone can have their opinion of it right now. The public is open. If we're going to be hoping that we need to be open and one more thing about this virus James Innes still here. It has not left us. You know. So when they talk about flattening curve. They're just talking about extending it out further so the virus will be here until Vaccine Hood. Immunity is taking place but we have to start moving things forward for for our entire lives. We've got people. We're we're close to fifty percent unemployment right now but things like this. We need to work together as a family and if Phoenix says no then we'll work with Glenn Taylor work with the kind of Gilbert Chandler. The maybe they're very you know. He's pushing an agenda going defense forward and we can work with the tribal communities. We need to work together and put together a package. We need to start pushing and pushing and pushing right now. I agree with you. I think that this if there's ever a time to come together as a as a city as a community this would be it into land something like that would be a huge and very much needed economic boost. But Sal it's we're dealing with trump derangement syndrome when it comes to to the Republika cabbage now. I'm even open. Hey let the Democrats come to town. I was celebrate that. That's business. The other side doesn't feel that way. It's shocking to me because people you know you look at some of my twitter stuff when you put that out. There is amazing people. You don't want fifty thousand people coming to our coming to our community spending millions and millions of dollars and that's what we that's what we're facing right now but we've got a good look past all that negative. We gotta be looking at her to do things how to get things done right now. They put in their entire life investment in these small businesses. And they're just they're just struggling right now and I think we're GONNA see between twenty five and thirty percent of these small business owners lose the business their American dream because of this and I think it's horribly sad. I think it's horribly sad. I think what makes it? Even worse is that Was In my opinion unnecessary. I could see two weeks I could see you know. Eight or nine. Which is this has been happening. And I think what makes it even worse than that is the the mayor in Phoenix who's just As of that type of the blue state leaders who are all about to shutdown is all about control and that's going to be one of the biggest challenges for us to reemerge. You're exactly right right now. I mean there are people still pushing this close down. But they don't have a plan they say will. The numbers aren't what numbers that this virus is going to be with us until they built vaccine which is going to be January. That's at the earliest. And it's still gonNA take seventy percent of our population. James T that Niki. Vaccinate GonNa wait that long. Well not only that. We're not only if you're not gonNA wait long but many folks are just not going to get back nation. I think I think what's going to happen. Is the first part of that. The herd immunity and we get hurt immunity by simply living. Our lives congressman. I'm sorry we have to live our life now. I correct correct it. I think your suggestion or you're reaching out was a very very bold move. Please keep us up to speed on how this whole thing develops. Because I think that if Arizona were to be able to land a one or both those conventions that would be outstanding and seeing they're going to be moved why not throw in to get it right. Let's just take everybody why not. I mean we should not be turning down anybody. That's going to be spending money in our economy right now. Nobody we need to be finding reasons why to do things rather than why not. We need to find reasons. Why do things and we need to do things because we because we can? I think that's what's so unique and so special even though we were hit hard..

"Kissi radio show the good news and bad news today about pensions. As you know we may not have heard we've heard now. Is that a CO author of this book. Who Stole My Pensions Ted? Saddle and myself. Decided we'd just do a whole five part series on how your wealth is being stolen via our pensions. Oh surprise surprise but anyway we're also in the middle just for just a reference point where the middle of this corona virus and the shelves are out of Toilet Paper and food says a very exciting time and so the questions would be is. Will your pension still be there? So this is issue number five and we thought we'd end that five but more and more people kept popping up because they have this pension thing is very very depressed. People don't know much about it so it's a very important program because you think Khurana viruses beg the pension. Failure will be bigger. It'll it'll it'll just destroy the world justice corona virus destroying the world because our pensions have been looted. So our guest. Today is my co author on the book. Ted Sedalia former attorney tonight State Security Exchange Commission and America's leading expert on pension looting and our guest. Today is an old time friend. Councilman Sal Desisto. And we've been friends for years and he gets a little hot when we talk about. Pensions Labor Union. Pensions especially police firefighters as gold teachers. So I think they're all of these nice benevolent people. Those little nights schoolteachers. They're ripping us off. And so this is going to be a controversial program. I mean if you're a politically correct two out now. So we're GONNA be talking about how your own teachers. Firefighters and police officers are ripping off the public via pensions. So of course. We are chemists. Here Economists Kim. Two things number one. I think sometimes people tune out when they hear about pensions if they don't have pension they're like that that doesn't apply to me. I don't have a pension but what you're going to hear. Is that as these pension cuts keep coming incoming that? Who's GONNA be paying for it as you? The taxpayer so it is a huge issue for everybody and what I want to say about our friend. Councilman Sell Decio. What we love about sal sales fighter and he fights for he really does fight for the people and the the tax payer and he exposes waste and he goes after. We're really injustice in financial waste in the city and in the state of stealing. Yes so this is GonNa be this going to be a dynamic show. So let's without I had you know the markets crash and they went to zero interest rates. That are they're pumping Kwan. They're they're finally calling quantitative easing which is counterfeiting money and Mass Ted. From your point of view as a former attorney with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and on expert on pension loading. What does this mean for people with pensions? Well I'll tell you need. It does mean that pension benefits are going to be increased in the future What happened in the late? Nineteen Ninety s and the two thousand during the dotcom bottle was that many corporate and government. Pensions were increased as a result of soaring market but during the eleven year Longest bull market in history. That just ended last week. Pension benefits were increased one iota despite his longest bull market in history so if they're not increased during the longest bull market apple now that market performances plummeting almost certainly there will be further deeper pension cats so it. Can they do that to firefighters? Police officers schoolteachers half half all state and local. Pensions have cut benefits institute. Thousand eight meltdown. Get ready for the next round of Cup so sell a quick background on your real estate guy like Kevin. I give us a quick background. And then what you see the pension thing coming up to Kim's point though to this whole thing corrupt the only thing I can speak to the government tensions. So if you look at what your city and this is across the country here actually crossed the glow. If you see more revenue coming in here sitting there sitting starting to wonder why your services are cut where your roads look like crap. Why you know you're not getting the type of services you believe that you should be getting in Waikiki getting increase. It's because of your pensions. Every city in the country every city in the country every state in the country is on the same planned. Just a different way so if you look at it this way you. Phoenix is a growing economy. We have two to three hundred people a day moving in here and we have less services now than we had years ago we have crappy roads right now because more and more money being sucked up into these government pensions. So what ends up happening? Is You have these government unions regardless of whether you're in.

Here's a crazy week in the valley when it comes to the community when it comes to the police started last week with the with the viral video, we have the chief of police respond to it. We had the mayor respond to a, we ended up having a press conference on Monday with the couple that were arrested by the police were part of that video that went viral, we heard from the, the, the rusted couples spokes family spokesman and their their, their lawyers, the next day, we had a meeting of town hall meeting, which which the community was able to come and voice their concerns. They didn't really voice are kind of screaming and yelling. Then we had our city council video. It was just a crazy. It was crazy in the center of the police, and there. Budget, and the and the, the sounding golf from the public was Saudi Cecilio city calls Cisco, and he really stood up for the police at this meeting and it really got him a lot of tension. In the center ring of the conservative circus. We have Sam stone. He is the chief of staff or city councilman Sal, desisto and Sam, I wanna review where the city of Phoenix has been this week. I mean it is also talk about what's going to happen moving forward. But before we get into that, I heard that yesterday, your office or a Saudi Cecile office, was inundated with phone calls of support is you the newest Phoenix rockstar. I, I mean what hard to tell because you're talking about where we'd been as far as I can. All I can see are the walls of the tornado surrounding us on this one. It has been some kind of weak, but we're not getting just calls from people here locally, we've been getting calls from people across the country, who saw the viral video both of the first incident that sparked all this, but then had sought seen his response. And so, you know, there's a lot of folks out there, the majority of people out there, who strongly support law and order and strongly support our law enforcement and see what's happening here and don't like it. And our frill dab someone standing up to it. I want to talk about how rare that is. Because you, it's not often that, you, you hear it councilman disres- bond the way that Sal did what was unique about this is that this was after just sitting there after hour after hour after hour of, of just taking this abuse or at least listening to the abuse. That was heaped upon them and more specifically heaped upon the. Police. And so when he stood up or lease when he just called out the madness. It truly was an organic moment. Oh, absolutely. I mean, frankly, I don't know how he had the patience to sit there as long as he did without saying something, because look, we're seeing all across the country..

"Kind of serve as. The rest of the story is now coming out. Looks like the Phoenix Phoenix police department is pushing back. There is a video out. Actually there's to video. We're talking about the, the incident that it's put Phoenix Arizona once again in the national spotlight or over the weekend. We had a video released of that went viral showing the arrest of a couple and the capture read that the that the breasts was over a child, a four year old child stealing a Barbie doll funded dollar store, a we had the chief of police come out over the weekend, and offer apology, the mayor the city offered apology. And we had the, the family have a press conference in which they had the, the spokesman civil rights activists, Jared, mop, and we had lawyers, there, representing the family and the family refused to ask questions, I should say the spokesperson refuse questions from the media about what may have happened that let up to the few minutes of video that has turned everything upside down in the valley and put a course the city into a negative light across the country. This video that was released today. Totally gives a different context of the of the incident. In this video. We see the whole family, the whole family mom, dad children. Auntie. Shoplifting. Stealing disregarding the property in the store. When you watch the video, it's actually kind of disturbing the disregard that people have for for property. This new video that was released is showing the family members caught in the act of shoplifting at the dollar store. Now. We talked about this just we talked about it from the from the video of the citizens who were who were capturing the arrest. And of course, because of the way the rest with down. We have the police who are being scrutinized. But yesterday, Phoenix councilman Sal, desisto share these videos on his Facebook, along with the.

"And we have the estimate what ten million baby boomers retire every day, the United States alone. But this is all across the world be boom came up after World War Two ended and millions and millions of miles them. Don't have any money set off a retirement or they think they do. So the purpose of the rich dad radio shows have you take a look to see what you might wanna see I went on to agree with us. But it's hard to see the future lot of the times. But I can tell you this much one thing for certain raw getting older. And I wish the baby boomers were not getting older because I'm one of them. And I wish I didn't need a pension limit. Tell you something when you work in days are over you're lying in a bed. You're gonna wish you a pension at. So that's what today's discussion about. And today, we have very special friend. His councilman, Sal desisto is a district. Same district. I n he's serving on the city Phoenix. Arizona city council says two thousand nine and we'd been he's been a guest on this program. We talk about this all the time. It's how functionally incompetent are public servants are but worse than that is huff functionally incompetent are public. Servants are at managing their own pension in as I always say what did school teach you about money. The answer is nothing. So in two thousand eight you may remember this. But a lot of these guys found out law people found out there councilman or their their so-called public servants gut taken by the banks, you know, the very Goldman Sachs and J P Morgan and Wells Fargo they went in there and just ripped off the pensions. But now it's too late. This is ten years later now it's too late. They're gonna rip off one more time. They've ever guys who brought to the last crash and they're about to crash again. There's only one big problem. Baby boomers are out of time. You know, this is either time or money and baby boomers have no time and no money. So I'm talking about me right here. Like, I said, I can't I've let this book called rich dad's prophecy. I predicted would come in two thousand sixteen while I was year and a half late. But it's coming right now. That's what happened in September of two thousand eighteen is started to crash. So, ladies and gentlemen, is very important show you while I'm not a baby boomer trust me. It will affect you. Especially have a father a mother or. Grandfather, relative who's a baby boomer they're out of money. They're gonna move in with you or they don't have money for medicine. And we look at what's going on in politics today. All of these guys, all socialist left. We generally called communist, they're basically saying they want free food free education free manicures. That's great. I mean, I support that too. I wish everybody could have you know, they they now they well whether you want to work or not work, we'll give you money. Well, that's good. I support that. There's only one question about it as well. How we're gonna pay for it. And so I'm not saying it's right or wrong. But when you have communists running our system because they're functionally incompetent, we have a problem, and sell, you know, you've been on this program. So many times talking about how incompetent our public servants are any comments on this. Well, I think you can sum it up into one word corrupt. No, tom. I have to tell you. That system itself is completely. Corrupt in it is and they know what they're doing. And it's not just the politicians that. No now, I mean, you gotta know now by this point everyone's talked about it. It's the people that are in charge of the pension system. Then charge of the local governments that are completely corrupt. They know what they're doing. And they know that if they don't fix it. You're going to see less and less money going to services. You wanna you wanna know why you don't have your potholes taking care of why you don't have enough police on the street is because more and more money is being so caught up in eaten by these pension systems..

"James? A Wednesday March six David a Korn DC bureau chief for the ultra liberal mother Jones blue into sky harbor airport in Phoenix while there he claimed on Twitter to have witness a hate crime targeting dim it girl. Alexandria, Cossio Cortez. According to corn while hustling between flights he popped into what are the rest rooms where he found the racist graffiti, targeting Cortez on a wall above a toilet even posted a photo of the toilet with a digital black streak on the wall above it. There's only one problem it never happened in the center ring of the conservative circus. Oh, we have Sam stone. He is a chief of staff for a city councilman Saudi. Also, he pinned this piece in the Zona daily, independent Sam stone. How did you get your hands on this blockbuster story? Well, it's a little too easy. I think that David a Korn who is the DC bureau chief for mother Jones didn't understand that he was dealing with the city government that actually still has elected Republicans elected conservatives in office. Or he's just an idiot. I mean, look in the in the in the wake of Jesse small let you would think that the the left was slow down with the fake. Hey crimes with the hoax stories, but humid here we are. We got the the editor of mother Jones picking on Phoenix. Yeah. So I mean, basically, I got a text on Wednesday that went out from our aviation department. That said that there was a report of some racist graffiti at the airport, but then there was nothing else that followed up on it. And so I kind of let it go last night. I'm sitting at home. I see this Twitter exchange between David corn and some folks, and he's basically saying, oh, I don't have the imagination to make this up. And I connected that that he was talking about the incident at sky harbor. I read into it. This guy says he flew here. He went into the bathroom, and there he saw some racist graffiti Cortes, and I said none of. This lines up because if that actually happened I would have heard all about it from our aviation staff. We would have had information come back to city council here. So late last night or late last yesterday afternoon. I put in an information request via the city for any original photos any information, and that they had about this incident or other proof and evidence that it had actually occurred. And when I got a call back from aviation this morning. Here's what they told me James. And this this was I mean, pretty pretty solid. This guy never filed a police report. He never contacted staff at sky harbor to alert them to this all he did was posted on Twitter, and then aviation department heard about it from other, folks. Because obviously, this guy's got a huge platform. They heard about it. They went and looked at his tweets. They reached out to him to say, hey, where is this? What's going on? How do we fix this? And he refused to respond. And then they kept reaching out. And he still refused eventually told him. Well, you can follow me on Twitter, and I'll help you out. And then he sent them the same photo he posted on Twitter, which is a little toilet with some blacked-out, computer. Blackout above it. Aviation staff center people through the entire airport terminal. He was in. There is nothing zero evidence any of this ever happened. He made this up out of whole cloth. Making Phoenix in our airport. Look bad it is offensive. And this guy needs to be called on the carpet. This is a major match national media figure this is in a way worse than just a small it because Jesse small at what he did took up a huge amount of police resources and all these other things, but this guy is actually in the news business, theoretically. Well, mother Jones. Yeah. Is a far left magazine. But yes, a lot of folks Goto mother Jones for the news. We have Sam stone in the center ring of the conservative circus. He is the chief of staff or city councilman sowed assist. Yo, you know, what t- your point? I mean, you in your article, you go all the way through what happens how how this branch of government works. What you did? I mean, they were on top of it. And the fact that they went and check. Every bathroom stall. And sky harbor is a massive waste of time. But also goes to the to the point where they were trying to find this turns out to be a bit fat hoax. But Samsung, I do have a problem with the way you approach this whole thing if you don't mind be correcting you're giving. Waited for a few days for this thing to blow up. And then you exposed the hoax, and then you know, what it'd be it'd be bigger. But to that question. Do you think this is going to go anywhere? Well, I think that the reason it hasn't already is that because there's a lot of people. I mean, this is you know, this guy got a couple of hundred re tweets on his his original post. A lot of those are people who have the famous blue Twitter checkmark for you know, verified accounts, these are big name people, and the fact that it didn't blow up yet Mace may suggest that some of them know that this guy is, you know, questionable on his ethics, and truthfulness. But as we found out there's zero basis, and you know, I think this does need to be blown up. I think when you have someone who purports to be in the news media to port purports to be a reporter, the bureau chief of a major national publication, and they've done something like this, and there is zero proof. This man needs to be called on the carpet. We know it won't happen. Liberal media will protect their own. We have Sam stone. He is the chief of staff for city councilman Sal CEO in the center ring, the peace to be found the Arizona daily independent. It's called mother Jones bureau chief fakes hate crime at sky harbor. I have to tell you as a watchdog politician here to city. I is I am proud of the fact that you were watching Twitter you pick this up. You put it all together. And you flat blasted it right out of the box. So that's really cool. So I gotta tell you. I'm gonna do my very best to make sure that this does get some national attention. Yeah. It absolutely needs to James. And thank you. Thank you for giving conservatives in the city of Phoenix, and in the valley here voice because you know, I mean, obviously, this this has been out there. But you'd see nobody sniffing around it from any of the other traditional legacy media here. You know, they're they're chasing around everything other than this today. So, you know, absolutely. We need voices like yours. You're you're really leading the way here for a lot of us in getting some of this stuff out. And thank you for saying that because you know, my my my bull Kanchi detector went off when I saw this. And I just couldn't let it go. And Sam stone would really really just gets in my cockles is the fact that he thought he could get away with it because it was at Arizona. That's right. I mean, look this guy is one of those flyover liberals he was flying from DC. I think the LA he's stopping off here to drop off a little hate of his own on the residents of Arizona. It is absolutely insulting. It is insulting on multiple levels. I mean, it tells you what a lot of these these flyover liberals really think of the people here. Sam stone chief of staff of four, Sal desisto. And I had to it's well, it's one of these things where it just goals like par for the course, we have reports out there from the media saying that hate crimes are on the rise the grave threat of white supremacy and far right extremism is on the rise. Regardless of what happened with Jesse small. Let's case hate crimes are rising. Here's why all of this is being pushed by liberal publications like the New York Times and C N N. I don't believe it. I don't believe that hate crimes on the right? Are on the rise. Would I do believe is that? Hey crime hoaxes are on the rise from the left. I also think that hate crimes are on the rise from the left once again another. Unreal. Under reported story. You have a kid. What is this thing would would adults attacking kids? You have a kid. Dealing on a school bus. He's at middle school. All of a sudden the middle school bus driver sees his maga- hat. She has a very strong. We action somewhat say she was triggered by this mega hat immediately. I heard the.

"To kind of survey. James? The conservative circus to explain on. This is Sam stone. He is a chief of staff for city councilman Saudi Cecile Sam stone, a your boss said that this whole thing was a total spin. He said that back the last vote he was one of the individuals wanted the councilman the vote against it. And now I believe it was a six to vote to fleas the taxpayers again. Or did. I get something wrong. Oh, no. You got it. Exactly. Right. My favorite part of last night was watching our newly appointed. And soon she hopes to be elected councilwoman Vanya Guevarra who had been adamant that she wasn't for corporate welfare gave away one hundred and seventy five million dollars in exchange for ten million dollars to her favorite programs back that is math only a democrat can love. I don't get it. You know? This is supposed to be a vote for renovations at talking stick at a time. When we talked about it the last year there was actually the the owner got a little bit of trouble. I'm a little bit of hot water. There were talking about threats of leaving the city of that subsided after a couple of days. But there was still a wrinkle because land the talk the taxpayers we're going to be on the hook for the bulk of the renovations we're talking like eighty billion dollars. Yeah. Actually taxpayers are going to be on the hook for a hundred and seventy five million dollars. I'm sorry. That's right. That sons were picking up eighty billion and the taxpayers are picking up. I mean James this is a classic. This is an absolute classic of local government handouts. So you have an NBA team making millions upon millions of dollars a year. The owner bought it for four hundred million dollars in two thousand four it was just valued at over one point two billion. And unlike the previous ownership, he's asking the city to put in two dollars for every dollar. He puts up so and then they get three out of every four dollars that are gonna come back out of this deal. So the taxpayers are getting hose six ways from Sunday and eight is amazing. I, you know, James how many times you heard Democrats whining about corporate welfare. Yes. Yes. All the time all the time except for when they're confronted with an except for when we find out that they're the donors the rich corporate donors, then all of a sudden the Democrats go silent on that issue. Yeah. They go silent. And they go for the they go for the the carrot the stick that gets put out in front of them. I mean, the taxpayers get the stick the politicians get the carrots. And this is what happens you had five Democrats who all say, they're champions of the people who went ahead and handed the people's money to a multi million dollar corporation, and and did it on a basis that makes absolutely no sense. And is a worse deal than we've ever had with the sons before I don't blame Robert sovereign one bit. He's a business owner has to go get what he can get. He's a smart man for doing that. It's the politicians that are fools. I I was about to say that you know, you can't be mad at the owner. Can't be mad the team. I look they deal with they had to do. They want this new stadium, and they don't have to pay for the bulk of it. But. To your point. The city supervisors are supposed to represent the tax payers, how do they justify? How did the six councilman who voted for this justify this taxation while they do it on what I would call Ludo economics? I mean, really this is economics that requires an awful lot of smoke and chanting and mirrors and everything else for people to buy because what they're saying is, oh, this is going to bring back all this money, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Well, you know, what the about the only thing in this world that economists conservative economists liberal, economists economists to work for for Wall Street, the only thing they all agree on is it stadiums don't actually generate much revenue for cities. It's about the equivalent of a decent sized grocery store or a Macy's. I mean, would you pay one hundred and fifty million dollars a tax money to bring Macy's into downtown? You would not you shouldn't have to you. Never would. It's ridiculous. Okay. But see they said that the taxes are going to come from rental cars, and it's going to come from hotels. My question to that would be if the people pay for these cars and hotels, if they become aware of it. What's going to stop them from like going out, maybe getting a hotel in Scottsdale or timpee or? Absolutely. Nothing are hotels already are at a competitive disadvantage because our sales taxes are higher. We have a room tax. We have short term rental tax. And then we have this stadium entertainment tax, and we can do that with any any thing. We can take that money and use it for anything or we could get rid of the tax, right? We could leave it in people's pockets. Now, if you've got to say, I believe right now, we're so short of police, we need our streets fixed. We have core functions that are getting neglected across this city. And so right now, my view and counseling, the CCOO's view was you know, we ought to be putting that money into those core functions. Instead, you know, I would we would have been entirely for a deal that just gave the team the stadium. Here you take you take it you work with we save you you'll spend your money to fix it to make it to all your enterprise, I agree with you. That would have been a better deal. All the way around. We have. Sam stone. He is a chief of staff or city councilman, Sal desisto and the center ring Sam something very very strange bazaar uncomfortable happen at that meeting last night. Larry naming who was a gentleman who was against earlier tax and shot. A supervisor county supervisor is out of jail of what twelve fourteen years later, and he came to the meeting last night. I want you to hear this. If you go ahead and pass this you're crossing the line in carrying out the coolant of an act of violence against the public on August thirteenth nineteen ninety seven. I walked into the miracle county board of supervisors auditorium in shock Mary rose Wilcox over the baseball stadium tax MAC. You must let the public vote on this matter. If you go ahead and pass it you're crossing the line. It's equivalent to a bloody act violence means the public sandstone, you were there wants everybody knew who this who this man was it had to be surreal surreal James does not even cover it. I mean, I think it was completely insane. And unfortunately, this is the law that we had to let this guy in there. But you have this guy. Larry naming who went out he was opposed to the original sense stadium. And then he was opposed to the Diamondbacks stadium. And he went out and shot county supervisor Mary rose Wilcox, and he went to jail only for twelve years. I don't know how how he's out of jail already. I don't know how twelve years as appropriate sentence for shooting somebody. I think that's ridiculous, but he gets out and here he is standing there at the microphone bragging James gang about having shot a county supervisor for her support of a stadium deal. It was the most creepy crawly. Your skin is ready to migrate right off your body and down the drain feeling. I have ever imagined. I mean, you know, this guy is dangerous. He is proven it. And then here he is. He was very careful in the language you used, but personally, I think his mere presence was a threat it he may have been very careful in the language purposefully. So he knows what he's doing. He also he's not he has to know the the the the impact his presence at that meeting on this issue was going to call. That'd be basically remember me. Remember, what happened the last time? You guys did this. I I would have been terrified. If I was there. Oh for poor Mary rose Wilcox who was there to speak in favour of this stadium. Wait a minute. She was she would say the supervisor was at them. I mean, she goes up to the microphone, and then she gets followed microphone by the guy who shot her in the back. Did she know that he was going to be? How would you know? But what did anybody know? He was going to be there. Did they big announcement? You're showed up, you know. Wow. Wow. And even with that. Well, yeah. Okay. I don't know what to say. There is nothing to say about that. I mean, that's the amazing thing about this. There's nothing more that you could say, I this guy shouldn't be allowed in any public building ever again, ever and his wife teary-eyed, you know, but unfortunately, we got some holes in our law there. And so he's allowed to come up to the microphone and basically by his mere presence, try to intimidate the crowd. Now, I agree with him that we shouldn't be funding these stadiums. And I may scream and shout and make a fuss about it. Like we're doing now. And like I've done before. Shoot. Nobody will know eh. You know, the thing is is he didn't help the argument whatsoever. The moment he walked and you're like, oh damn. Knowing. Crazy. I've so this is the craziest story first of all, you know, once again Phoenix shows us what happens when we elect a liberal officials who do not care about the taxpayers, but only care about I don't know a crony capitalism. But this was just a bizarre twist to a very bizarre story in the first place. Larry name and showed up at the meeting. Is is bad enough that taxpayers. Get fleeced in this manner is bad enough that the taxpayers are playing for the brunt of the stadium renovations and the organization that profits from it. Crazy money crazy valuable a product they have. But they can't like I said I can't be mad at him. The owner because he he got he he doesn't have to pay a whole lot. You set that aside because this guy Larry naming a who shot who shot a county supervisor over the tax issue, basically showed up last night in without saying it. I mean, his mere presence is like you have to kind of like, I don't want to say this. But the Democrats who voted for the tax increase with Mary name. Well that that's kind of ballsy. But the fact that you had the supervisor in the room who spoke first, and then the guy who shot her a supervisor Mary rose Wilcox. The guy who shot her coming up behind him to give his opposition to the tax is bizarre. And you're something that's even more bizarre than that. Larry Wilcox was interviewed. I'm sorry. Metairie naming their name was interviewed by twelve news last night. And you just wait till you hear what he said. Time to check on the east side west side, traffic.

I don't think that that's a fair if the council approves the deal tomorrow, the Suns will stay until twenty thirty seven otherwise they could leave in three years. The stock market is having a good month. But that doesn't mean you're feeling good about the economy. We often see a disconnect between what the stock market is saying versus how we're feeling in the real economy and sometimes the stock market can forecast accurately, what's going to happen in the economy. It can also become a driver.

"Is going to have to pay more for their water. We're being told that this is a great thing that it had to happen. But at the end of the day, my next guest absolutely called it. Sam stone yesterday. The Phoenix city council voted to raise our water rates. What are you hearing from we the people James I would like to claim that. I am some sorta savant. But it doesn't take a crystal ball realized government is going to raise your taxes again. Yeah. Yeah. What we're hearing from people were getting calls today. They're upset a lot of people weren't aware of this. The government doesn't do a good job of publicizing. This. We raised rates five percent less than two years ago. And now, we're raising them another twelve percent. So you're looking at at seventeen percent increase in. And then each increase ads on it's like compound interest rate you paid five percent. Now, you're paying edition. Twelve percent on the previous five percent. So. Oh, by the way, we're not just gonna hit you on water. We're gonna come back around and get you when you flush your toilet to. So this this great because I mean what they're saying. Look, it's not that big of a blow because we're going to just do six percent this year and the six percent and twenty twenty. So, you know, they're looking out for the tax payer, aren't they Samsung? James? I I've been in in city hall now for two years, I've never seen. Anyone get out a pair of knockers and try to find the interests of the taxpayers here. We don't see them from the top of this mountain. We have Sam stone. He is a chief of staff for city councilman Saudi Cecile, the whole situation is pretty remarkable. A what are they going to do with this money Sam stone? I mean, we know is not going where they say it's going, right? No. I mean, look what you're going to have invariably is pretty soon. The council is going to be voting on whether to allow the water services to pirate department to hire another twenty or fifty or one hundred more people and those monies are gonna mostly get eaten up and salaries and benefits for new workers. We don't particularly need, and that is how government continues to grow and grow and grow right now, we're a month out from all our unions coming in for new three year contracts. You can bet your, but that this is part of that deal. And that's what we're a big chunk of that cash is gonna go. They say a third of that cash. Half a billion dollars is needed for infrastructure improvements. Well, that's what they told us. We we raise rape for five percent two years ago. I mean, they're telling us we already paid for that. And now we got to pay for it again. That's what they're doing to the taxpayers. One of the things that shocking. Would you just said is that you're getting calls because a lot of the your constituents did not know that this was coming? This is the first heard about it, which is kind of remarkable. Because the last time this came up you sell Decio gave us a warning that they're about to Jack to water rates the Democrats on the council. I think I forgot the her name is name who voted against it. But you said it was coming back. Why did they change their mind the one holdout and now vote for it? And why is this? I mean, I thought that the last time it has happened that this would wake up the tax payers in Phoenix. How come we were not aware again of this massive tax increase on their water? Well, the main the biggest problem is James, as you know, you're dealing with a liberal media stablishment the buys everything that government sells them hook line, and sinker. So our water services department is out there telling people, oh, you're going to be out of water. You're not gonna have any more water. If we can't do this. It's an emergency, and that's bunk bunk. But the newspapers eat it up the TV stations eat it up. And so people what they hear is. We've got an emergency, and oh, it's just gonna cost an extra two dollars per year, well or dollars per month two dollars and thirty cents whatever the water department is telling people, but again, that's not true, James. I mean, if you live in an apartment, you all you do is single person he bathes once a day, and you don't have a dog to wash and you don't have a laundry machine or anything like that. In your house. You're probably gonna pay, you know, a dollar fifty a month more. That's true. But if you're a business a small business a restaurant, you're going to be paying hundreds maybe thousands more month. If you've got a nice, big lawn and a swimming pool. Hang on. They are coming for your wallet. It's incredible. I mean, when you think about it because you talked about this last I was as a business owner in Phoenix. If you own a car wash chances are you're going to relocate to Gilbert or to Scottsdale. Look if you can. Yeah. You immediately anything that uses a lot of water you're going to get out of town. Right. I mean, absolutely. And so once again, I mean, we see they just don't consider the impacts on businesses. They said they did community outreach. But yet we had the restaurant association. You know, the rock products association leaves the guys do a lot of work with swimming pools, doing fixtures, along swimming pools that kind of thing businesses that rely on a lot of water use for the things that they do. They never had meetings with them. They never went to the restaurant association and said, we're going to do this. How do you do this? When you're talking about the, you know overall, probably the biggest group of water users in the city, and you say, oh, they don't need to know. We have Sam stone online. He's a chief of staff for city councilman Sal desisto now Sam to your constituents the to the people in in Phoenix who are going to be upset about this is sort of like you were a savant. You saw this coming and you penned a piece. In the eighty the daily independent New Year's resolution elect FOX hole atheists. What are you trying to tell the folks, you know, that old saying that they're never find an atheist and a foxhole? Right. Well in government, you never find anyone who can say no to a new tax or a new imposition on our citizens are a new way to interfere in the citizens lives when you talk about people, you can elect them right left. You've got to hold them. The only people that hold the line or true conservatives, and they're the ones who even when it hurts. They say, no, no, no over and over again, it doesn't make you popular. It makes you darn good at this job though. Even though the people they want to hear it. They're not getting the word. So what they need to do is to follow you at the Zona daily, independent, Anna ten more meetings. If they can yeah. Absolutely get involved pay attention because I'll tell you folks, the big issues, the fence the wall national government, all these things take Pratt take precedence and people's daily lives. But the thing that impacts you most is your local government. And you gotta keep to is squarely on them because politicians are squirrelly the minute. You move. One I off their they're shifting right out of the picture chief of staff for for Saudi Cecilio, Mr Sam stone. Jeff Bezos is in the news with the highest divorce in history. We'll talk about that assist. Thirty.

"On how politically insiders subvert the will of the citizens, you need look no further than what city manager Ed Zuqar did behind closed doors Zuqar, a strong proponent of light rail gave an attorney on contract to the city of Phoenix. The go ahead to sue Phoenix citizens to stop a filed initiative fixing our roads and initiative signed by forty thousand Phoenix residents innocent to ring of the conservative circuits. We have Saudi Cecil's chief of staff Sam stone. Sam the headline of Saudi Cecil's op, Ed your boss, reads, Phoenix out of control, can you? Please tell us how is it possible that a city manager can give a city. Contract attorney a waiver to sue a city resident it's worse than that. James? I mean, they're not just in one city resident effectively suing forty thousand city residents who signed a petition to end the destructive expansion of light rail on south central and the fact of the matter is the city manager did this without talking to council without talking to the public. They are proving that they will do anything to stop these citizens from having a say is this doing anything or is this an act of desperation? Well, I think it's an act of desperation, but appearance simple. What you're seeing? This is early in the game. Right. I mean, these signatures haven't even been fully verified by the city and they're coming after like this. What that tells you is there frayed, and they will stop at nothing. The bureaucracy will stop at nothing to protect their light rail boondoggle. We have Sam stone. He's the chief of staff for Phoenix city councilman, Sal desisto. They'll stop. Nothing. But I this is unheard of. You have someone suing citizens for basically signing a petition. Yeah. I mean, you know, what they're what they're going. After is basically how all these signatures were gathered. But they're doing it in a way that is is absolutely unethical. I mean here you have a city contract. Attorney been paid over half a million dollars his firm over half a million dollars in the last few years, and they're cutting him out and saying, hey, no problem. Go ahead. And sue the people were paying you to represent these this. This light rail opposition that supports these ridiculous trains. They could have hired any attorney in the country any attorney in the state that they wanted and who do they end up with a contract city attorney that tells you how far this bureaucracy we'll go to subvert the will of the public. We have Sam stone that he is in the central bringing the Caserta circus. He's a chief of staff for Phoenix city councilman Saudi Saudi has a op Ed in the daily. Independent today Phoenix out of control Sam have you heard from the residence. What are they saying about this furious? You know, I mean, look you have a basically a bunch of resonance of south Phoenix, small business owners longtime residents evacuated unity who have banded together. Not taken any outside money. Not taking any outside help. They've done this on their own gathered forty thousand signatures to to get this on the ballot to stop what they see as as the destruction of their community that they love. And then this is what happens to them. I mean, this is this is the worst thing you can see in government. It makes me sick to my stomach. It is actually very very disturbing. Does. There seem to be an acknowledgment by the Democrats on the council that the city is out of control. Oh, there's no acknowledgement by them at all. I mean, you know, it, that's what's really disheartening about this thing. You have all these city departments right now are are engage. Aging in politics, in a way, they're not supposed to you like people to decide the political direction of the city. But because these folks are so invested in their own projects, the billions of dollars it's going to come to their friends off of these light rail deals. They're not gonna stop at anything. They can't let this go back to the voters because only one percent of our transit passengers even use the stupid train. So if this goes to the voters chances are pretty good is dead meat, and they can't allow it. We have Sam stolen the center bringing the conservative circus. He is the chief of staff for city councilman Sal Decio. It is obvious that the politicians as city insiders as you said, Ken, not let this go to the public because the public will vote it down. I believe that as well. But what's more shocking to me? Sam stone is the utter contempt for the public. The absolute utter contempt for the voting public and the willingness of for the for the furthest. Insiders to put the taxpayers on the hook for millions of billions of dollars. Absolutely. And it's not just this one thing. This is you know, if it was just this one incident. The councilman wouldn't be saying the thinks he's saying that this is a pattern. We saw this with the arena deal. Right. Whether you supported or you don't this one hundred fifty million taxpayer dollars and the city basically came out a less than a week before they intended to vote on it and said, oh, here's the deal. Now, you gotta pass it. They came out less than forty eight hours with a tax on all the medical marijuana. Dispensaries in town that would have been a quivalent to about one third of their total revenues, and they came out with that tax forty eight hours before they intended to vote on it. And so we keep seeing over and over these last minute surprise packages from the city. It's coming from city staff. They are completely out of control. It is irresponsible. What they are doing is beyond your possible. It is absolutely vile. The op-ed pieces called Phoenix out of control. It was pinned to buy a Phoenix city councilman Sal desist. Yo we have Sam stone the chief of staff indecent. During breaking this whole thing down a Sam what can the tax payers do to respond to this latest revelation? You know, what they need to do? You know on a big issue James, I think this is going to surprise people. But not a big issue. Our office might get a half a dozen phone calls. If you wanna scare the ever loving daylights outta your city council member have fifty different people. Call in to them on this stuff and get fifty your friends who are out there bouncing over potholes tearing their cars apart. So that we can have one percent of our population riding the train has them. Call their councilmember whoever. That is wherever they are called the mayor, call all the council members and say cut this out. Look, we don't support this. You citizens need to take this back. They need to stand up make their voices heard these city manager Ed Zucker, give him permission to what attorney to sue the good people of Phoenix. Sam stone breaking it down for us at five thirty five. We're going to talk about Nancy Pelosi. A lot of reaction to her being sworn into speaker of the house once again, it's a two for..
