There's Something Suspicious About Monoclonal Antibody Treatment for 'High Risk' Patients

"I'm sixty one years old slightly a little bit overweight. I got ten or twenty more pounds. I'd like to lose. I don't know what kind of risk that am. I high risk. If i die of covert i guess i would have been a high risk. How many people have we heard didn't have any commodities and died of covert not everybody who dies with coverted has a bunch of pre existing conditions. Right listen to what this reporter jennifer that care. Tv in minneapolis. Saint paul says at the beginning of her report treatment only works if you get covert and you're also at high risk for severe disease. Now listen the treatment only works if you're at high risk that doesn't even make any sense. That's not even logical. It only works if you have and if you're at high risk really that's what it works so if you're low risk it doesn't work you see what they're doing. And i'm not a conspiracy theorist but do you see why the media is a trusted. Think about that. It only works these these antibody treatments. If you're at high risk and if you've got kelvin well guess what asari on like the guy on the titanic knocking over the ladies and little kids to get on the lifeboat. If i get cove in. I want the monoclonal antibody treatments okay. You gotta do now. Why don't i get that opportunity. Oh only if you're high risk will at work you see it only work. It won't work for sixty one year old. You know chubby white guys. It only works if you're like got emphysema and all kinds of other terrible health conditions.

"The NASA minute. With Kevin mason as everyone tries to get back to the way life used to be pre-pandemic, I've noticed a recent trend when it comes to movie advertising. And I don't know if you've seen it because it's pretty subtle. But as they talk about some of the movies that are available both on an app or on your cable box, and available in the theater at the same time, you'll always see an ad talking about you need to see this on the big screen because the movie companies want you to go back to the movie theater. They want you to watch it in the big screen because more people make money that way. I really noticed it over the weekend as my wife and I watched the many saints of Newark on our HBO Max app. Now of course we could have gone to the theater, but in all honesty, neither of us are still ready to go back to the theater, because I don't necessarily trust all the folks around me in Tennessee to wear a mask and do the right thing. So while I could have seen it on the big screen, it may have been cooler. I enjoyed it just as well in my 70 inch television set. And I know it's not quite the same thing as on a big screen movie, but it's kind of funny how we're trying to get people to go back to the theater when many of us aren't quite ready yet. I feel bad for the movie studios, but not that bad.

"saints wanna" Discussed on The Paul Finebaum Show

"We'll talk to the arkansas leaders on defense in a minute greg mcelroy. A little bit later on you. I go within the next hour. Let's grab some more calls. Fill is in nashville. Hey phil hey paul for taking my call. Okay me just a few minutes if you don't mind after that that was a disgraced vanderbilt and georgia game not blaming a coach lee vanderbilt. He just took the program over. But i'm hitting hard on derek mason. He told that program all the pieces. Jane franklin built up and then hey toward down in those years heaves advantage and while ago on your show you saw were Allburn that one their coaches today with the long one. Go co ed. New coach at auburn alfie. Listening to your show or not. Somebody tell he'd been that. Derek mason go because we don't. He'll be working a used car lot somewhere in auburn alabama or working at mcdonalds. Saint wanna fried pie with that order. I mean this guy i mean. He has told her program with a fan of that. That was a disgrace. The way they played saturday. I know they played against the number two team in the nation. And maybe the number one team but that was a disgrace. And it's all because derek mason who he got when he was at fangio. Now i hope and pray. That will be the answer. And i know paul and on this. Listen to me know that then we will never ever go to atlanta georgia. Decent replacement sec championship. But they can't get some good players out there. That can go decent bowl game every year because jane franklin proved it and bobby johnson did to when he was there. Thank you for the call appreciate it. How 'bout jeff up next in tennessee. Hey jeff how's it going paul. Hey there i wanna say. I i watched. The most of the daca ran this morning. The voices it was really bad. Real bad really help me. A majority of it of course football. I guess he should have won. Worked for football. And the rest of but you because i really I only caught just a couple of seconds of what was what was wrong with it. Wale reports evolves dougherty football. I'm gonna take you fan. The reason why people like it would lead for. He's he controlled itself. He didn't go nuts in the booth like months. And wardrobe these people. That go nuts dominates gore touchdown ak would controlled himself. And he wasn't a homer like months and ward crist on these people. You don't harbour where you're naming. lsu whatever gold he. He's he's a homer to he's tall twenty-five national champions alabama. You think you'd be able to go after a while. i would guess he can't do it. I i disagree To me you. I gold. Is the consummate Professional yeah i mean he may get. He may get excited. We're in alabama scores a touchdown. But i don't think you if you're just driving down the street you know immediately that he's doing the alabama games i think eli because he because he he's been. He was voiced a nascar for twenty five or thirty years. He's done nfl games. He's done countless other sports. I think he's very even my some guys. You're right i mean they're just they're they're hysterical on every play but i i would strongly disagree with you on eli gold Thanks for the call. Appreciate it sorry. You didn't like the show. John is up next in louisville. Hi john hey good afternoon. Paul and just a quick comment on friday show. I love it when you're on campus like that and the little video tour of the campus is also very nice. Thank you anyways. Just a couple of thoughts on the game. And then i have a question. certainly Clemson is just a stunning collapse. And they should start looking for the next Oc coordinator. There's no doubt oklahoma. They should be very afraid of texas Just underwhelming oklahoma I did catch bowling green beating minnesota. So it seems to be the end of the stardom of pj flick and then florida state. I mean the idea. That was the same bowling green team. That lost to tennessee coached by scott. Leffler and i mean. I give coach offer a lot of credit man. This this guy took over really a disaster and that that's a significant big ten win for him daily happy for leffler Straight shooters you know poor to state They might as well start looking for the new coach. It's not if but when i hate. I hate norville is off to such a bad start that i don't know where he goes to get it back he can't and then i. I grew up a catholic In chicago area. So i did Twelve years a catholic school. So i had to run back home. And watch the notre dame wisconsin game with all my irish catholic friends and eat beef dogs. The you know the drill. Oh sure but notre dame they keep winning but my god the only nine yards rushing Sooner or later it's going to catch up with notre dame's determined to be the worst team to ever get to the college football playoff oklahoma thing. Hold hold my beer. I ever having said all that. Let me say this brian. kelly Easy to criticize but he has done start to finish a pretty remarkable job in he lost that program and he built it back and and you know he finds ways to win at times. I'm not really sure how having said that has any has any program underperformed more in recent years in wisconsin no and then and then finally texas. Am i felt. They've been opposed her all year and They finally played ranked teams. So that's the bad news. The good news is mac and focus on his new date. And then i agree with you. I don't want to beat up on four matt because she's still got alabama a week from saturday but If you if you go back to the beginning of the season and we we all guilty. We're we're all guilty of having bought into the hype and you know there was a few nagging questions like where where's it all coming from for am and it should be about more than one player losing your quarterback although it seems to be about him right now. Let's go to jackson in georgia. Hey jackson go right ahead headboard. How're you doing today. We are doing great I've got a question After that nailbiter against auburn and georgia state and join a short hair. This saturday i was wondering if after that last. Dr do you think. Pj finley lives to the high and or should he get the start valley next saturday for however he got done he did that. I mean there's a lot of controversy on that final. Drive on whether richard even gone that far but but on the final on the plane that that won the game for them i mean he. He was lucky to be alive. I mean he was being chased all over the field so i gave him You know a lot of kudos for completing that pass and and really saving the season because if auburn had lost and quite frankly they deserve to to georgia state there was almost nowhere to go Because when you look at what they have ahead. I think they have lsu and georgia on consecutive weeks and I mean the. I mean there's already ob- obviously there's already problems down there when you when you when you you unloaded coach. Four games into your tenure. That's pretty shocking. Right i With a starring coach. Why receiving if you think that the with the rollers. I have no idea. I mean i mean something tells me based on who took his place carson has decided he would prefer to surround himself with his people even though he has coordinators from elsewhere. But i i never quite bought into the hype auburn after the first two weeks But you know they're in a really desperate situation this weekend against lsu who we've all criticized but found a way to win in starkville which was a significant victory considering the that if they can beat auburn now they at least hold on for dear life. Hey thanks for the call appreciate it. We are heading to the break arkansas. A big theme today and we'll talk to one of their top defensive stars jalen cattle on next..

What Is 'The Rule of Law' in America?

"The rule of law by definition which is the written constitution that we have the written constitutional republic means that you are being governed by things that do not change. It is in writing. It's a reference point. People know what to expect. People know that if you burn down a building you go to jail unless you're protesting for saint george floyd during florida florida palooza. You assault a police officer. You go to jail unless you're doing that. During the palooza you see the idea of the rule of law. Is that if you do something you're going to have to pay for this creates incentives and this creates penalties. This creates consequences for action. The entire constitutional system that we live under is a series of agreed upon laws measures and principles that. Make sure you as the citizen which means co-ruler in greek co ruler of this country. Know what to expect that you're not going to be living in a sea of uncertainty chaos or confusion. It's supposed to be built on universal truths

What Can We Learn From Machiavelli?

"Can you talk about how machiavelli in some way liberated this conversation. Not in a good way of the will of kind of how the political will should triumph good. Yeah that's excellent. Actually you're referring to chapter fifteen in prince and it's one of those chapters that are so crucial that anytime i ever teach machiavelli. Distracter has to get almost a full day of line by long line. Reading will in chapter fifteen of the prince machiavelli says he's going to depart from all classical writers. So forget the debate. Whether or not machiavellian was Doing something new was just sort of an ancient and modern clothing. He tells us that he's doing something new. What is it that he's doing new. Just so happens. Charlie that i have that chapter in mind. Let me just read it to you. He says because. I know that many have written about this politics friendship etc. I fear that in writing of it again. I may be helped presumptuous. Especially since in disputing this matter i depart from the orders of others so he tells us he is not gonna follow anything that had been written about before regarding moral philosophy and politics and then he says the following since my intent is to write something useful it suggesting that classical fodders not useful to whoever understands it appeared to me more fitting to go directly to the effectual truth of the thing than to any imagination of it so he makes a distinction between philosophy. That is simply imaginary and philosophy. That is actually factually true. Which is a unique phrase. No one's ever used that. Before now that in a moment but what is he talking about. He says that many have imagined republics he's referring to plato and principalities and kingdoms say saint augustine kingdom of god to have never been seen are known to exist in truth why because they are so far from how one lives to how one should live that he who lets go of what is done for what should be done learns his room and rather than his preservation so now he tells you what philosophy really should be. The factual truth is that which preserves your life and preserves your republic and imaginary truth moral or political. Is that which leads to your ruin.

Pastor Robert Jeffress and His Plan for Encouragement

"Morning pastor. How are you good morning. Hugh great to be with you. This is an encouraging buck. It's it's really overdue. Did you find yourself surrounded by cova fatigued people in your congregation who needed to lift up. Absolutely you know what hugh and the bible of nouns are symbolic of the obstacles that stand between us and god's blessing tune our life. And that's why subtitled the book invincible. Conquering the mountains. That separate you from the blessed life and after eighteen months of covert and political unrest and racial division. I mean people have been overcome would grief for loneliness fear or worry and in this book. I talked about how to conquer those mountains. You know jesus said if you have the faith as tiny as a mustard seed. You can move mountains. And he wasn't speaking literally but he was speaking truthfully and these mountains that we're all facing you We can conquer them without allowing them to conquer us. And that's what i talked about in the book. The wall street journal had a story over the weekend. Pastor jeffress that stated that americans are angrier and crankier in more quick to get into an argument and causes seen an airplane or a restaurant or supermarket store than in history. Just worn out and fatigue to which i responded. We actually have no real problems in america compared to people in afghanistan or looking at the taliban trying to kill them and that that's useful to remember but it's also a religious obligation for people who are christians not to be that way correct. That's exactly right. And it's been a little bit discouraging for me. As a pastor to see you know evangelical christians kind of at the forefront of a lot of this division. And look you know i i. We can have disagreements about issues like the vaccines or other things that are going on but look you know. I liked what Saint augustine said he said in the essentials unity in non essentials liberty but in all things. Charity we don't have to be mad and hateful and foaming at the mouth to have a difference of opinion.

I personally don't care for it but <hes> you know he's asking my advice and i ended up just sitting in on the draft and we went through these picks off book in round one because because we were we were picking right in the in the range where zeolite might have been a good pick or melvin gordon might have been good pick and well. I i went to the twelfth rated player on yahoo's board or e._s._p._n. Sport. I don't even remember the site we used but i went with michael thomas. I think that he's had some big seasons in the past. I think that receiving touchdowns from drew brees is very easy to do. It's very very easy to accumulate points almost artificially but <hes> you know artificially speaking to really trying to win the game and really trying to last the season and playing those shootouts playing that big twelve style football <hes> you know it worked for the saints wanna pot once upon a time..

"He he's too small. Well, you know, what I hear that all the time you the kid keeps playing on in at Oklahoma. Keep succeed everywhere. He goes they find a way to win. I love the fact that he's competitive needs to be a better interview. Did you see the interview on my show? Did I ever? No. I was cringing at the end of the interview, you know, Dan's going gonna ask probing questions just be prepared to give me an answer. I love when you had to call on the pops in the stands, and he wasn't giving you an answer. He shook me off at one point. I go, you know, this is on this microphones on. Yes. Well, you handled it great. But he's going to have to get better at that. Because he's going to be the face of a franchise to understand that those things happen and going to New York they're going to happen rampantly if he goes there. So I'm with you, Dan, you can't simulate speed. You just can't kids eight the key. I used to look at them. Dan is a baseball player athlete who was just the dynamics football quarterback. Because he was a good athlete. I've changed. I think he's a quarterback who just happens to be a great baseball player, and an athlete like I said you had three inches to his his height. We wouldn't even be having this discussion. And we still shouldn't be having this discussion the guy's a winner. And he's a dynamic game changer and probably will turn a franchise or the teams that play it on its ear. That's how that's how they namic is good to visit with you. And with you. We'll catch up with you soon. Can't wait, brother. Thank you, buddy. Hey, Sean, Salisbury. Former NFL quarterback host of the Sean Salisbury show three to six on sports talk seven ninety in Houston. Yeah. I know people say, oh, you got a man crush on Kyle Murray. Yeah. I would say that I have a man crush on. Because there's so many times when you talk yourself out of somebody and instead of talking yourself into somebody because I'm going to draft you because this is what I envision doing with you. I don't know if the hash marks are big difference because you know, in college the hash marks are different than they are in the NFL. But if I can have Cuyler Murray if you have to account for Cuyler Murray saquon Barkley, no del Beckham junior that's really hard to do. Because if you get Beckham back at peak Beckham form saquon Gabi eighteen hundred yards from scrimmage, and now I put Cuyler Murray in there that dynamic now there is usually talk about got to have a big strong quarterback playing at the Meadowlands because of the wind in there, and the weather I get it. It's Wendy in Oklahoma to do you think Beckham has the patience to let a rookie quarterback developed? He's going to have to whether it's Dwayne Haskins because he's already seen ally. And I don't think he's been too patient with ally especially running quarterback. Yeah. But you're gonna have that run pass option with Cuyler Murray. It feels like on every single playing. I I think he's a top five pick atop feel like he is. I don't know of team will pull the trigger on. Yes. We globe. This feels about where guys starts out ten around. February. It's going to be number one is the Baker Mayfield path, and it goes back to when when they had that draft. And I remember coming in on that Monday. And I said guys Baker Mayfield is going number one. You guys went. There is no way. He's too smart. I said my friend who's a scalp spoke to the Browns scouts who said were taken Baker Mayfield. And the social media erupted with oh my God. Can you the Browns reportedly in ice said that's what I'm told? He's going number one overall because they're even Patrick Mahomes. Because prior to the draft. That's when I got my friend who said, you know, you should add Patrick Mahomes on I go, man. I love him. I don't know if he can play in the NFL, and he goes, no, he's moving up higher than anybody. He's hot prospect moving up because I thought the Shawn Watson was he goes, no, Mahomes is the guy, and I thought he goes the saints wanna get Mahomes, and I go oh my God. That's a big story and little did. We know Kansas City was going to go all in on the homes, and they already had Alex Smith. So I will come back final call for phone calls, and our final results of the poll question is well what we learned all of that coming up. It's a situation. Nobody wants to experience during tax season. But with the breaches in the last couple of years, your information may have already been exposed in that could lead to an unfortunate discovery finding out that a cyber criminals, stole.

"This is going to sound crazy. Am I know that it's not practical? But what do you think the football community out outside of say the Rams and the saints fan fans and those who had real money on the game that would have a different type of. Yeah. Not just on an emotional investment. Or the monetary? What do you think the football community? How would we have reacted if they actually went back and played the last couple of minutes of that game as crazy as that sounds in that have been embraced without have been to gimmick BT would have felt fair. I agree. It would have felt fair. It would have been so off of the radar of whacky. But at least it would have been felt fair at least he would have been okay with it. You know what I mean? I don't think that could ever ever will happen in the NFL that they'll put the guys back on the field. Whether it's a daylight hours later or a day later and say all right, go finish it from this point. Because we know we screwed up. I don't think I've ever happened. But at least it would calm the converse. It would it would eliminate the conversation. But that will never happen. They are very lucky. They are very lucky that at least the saints wanna a Super Bowl nine years ago. Yeah. Now, I know that does that doesn't help saints fans today. But can you imagine if that was a Cleveland Browns team that got hoes like that? Yeah. Can you write it that was the bills on the wrong end of a call like that who go to the four Super Bowls in a row when they lose all of them have been back even close in one playoff game since one thousand nine hundred. I can you imagine. If that's my New York Jets whoever wants and Super Bowl three Joe Nemeth. Can you imagine if it's any one of those tunes with this listless? Yep. Sorted long drought. Yeah. Football past. Can you imagine? How it would have played out then and that's not to take the emotions of the saints fans and marginalized them, but again, at least a Super Bowl has occurred within the last ten years, and you can kind of agree. I I know that it's different players. That's the different dynamic. I get that. But they were I mean, they averted disaster by at least. That kind of gets them off the hook. I agree in BT. We said this the day after this happened. It just feels like there's no accountability. There is none. It's being. Right. Is there is not the NFL always talks about the integrity of the shield, and there's no cheating, and there's no Deflategate. There's none of the none of this stuff those steroids. No, even you can't even smoke. We there's none of that. But when something as agreed GIS, and that's the word we use a lot on Monday. Agreed this as this happens. And there's no accountability is no reprimand for the referee. There's no will that might still come. And again what happens to the referee? Honestly, we won't care. I agree. Pound the flesh that that's not how on why somebody's job to be sacked. You better the result? Get the coal, right? I don't want him to get fired. He did previously play for the Rams. I don't want him to get fired. Right. I want. I just want acknowledgement they screwed it up. Yeah. Sean Payton, obviously got that call right after the game from our river on even though that hasn't been verified. But other than that, we have nothing nothing has been mentioned about this acknowledging that this was was egregiously wrong is bad. It is very bad frustrating. More importantly, it's frustrating because all it takes is a. Yeah. You know, what we screwed up transparency's? Great thing. Right. I mean, transparency and a lot of it's great thing. It's a required thing in today's day and age so greed, whereas found as you we're not going to belabor this all week in Atlanta. We're going to talk football. We'll have our usual. Great gas. And we'll do our thing will be a radio row. The cameras are coming the network's doing a great job simulcast. It's going to be great. If it's a CBS Super Bowl, we will talk football. And by the way, it's gotta be said today, by the way to further the the the agree justness of the mist Nickell Robey. Coleman got fine for a helmet. Twenty six thousand dollars grand for. What the hell? What's also also was missed what an injustice, what is he getting fined for not consistent. Wow. Oh, man. At least don't don't announce the fine until after the soup like in the off season. Just kinda slip it in there during on.

"Sarah, and perhaps some things caught up with the saints like perhaps the fact that Bob besides Michael Thomas, they had no wide receiver that scared you cut up them last night. But. There was a touchdown to a guy. Just elevated off the practice squad. Right. Good on it at times. And maybe other times there wasn't enough there. But circumstantially, Sarah. I don't know how even with that play with that play at the end of the game. They should have been pass interference call. I don't know how you can look at last night is anything buddy missed opportunity the best team in the NFL based on regular season record, the New Orleans Saints playing at home where they're almost always awesome. They were six into this year. One of those losses was in week one against fist magic the other one was week seventeen when it was them against the Panthers. And the Panthers are I'm sorry that saints were resting all of their starters. They are always great. They had never lost at home with Sean Payton and drew Brees in the postseason six zero prior to last night. And think about what the Rams did not do in the first quarter of that game last night. Their offense of strategy in the first quarter was to punt the football, Sarah. They were bad. They were terrible in the first quarter the saints in the same way that you know, the patriots nearly sees that game in the first quarter last night. It was two separate occasion. Where a team could have seized the game. And perhaps ended it in the first quarter. They did not ended up costing the saints Tanakh cost. The patriots put the saints had Royal opportunities to make that game. A no contest early and they didn't at credit the resilience of the Rams, but the saints have to be kicking themselves. Not just wanting to kick the league office for the lack of a call netplay late Spain infants on ESPN radio and ESPN app. Field Yates in for fits with me sarahspain. Yeah. I mean you early on saw Goff taping his ear holes not able to hear they get up. The crowd is insane. And even after the bad call that forced them into an overtime situation. First of all they could have gotten stop right on the next drive. They could have stopped the Rams from tying up. And then they got the ball, first and overtime. We saw it in the pats game. That's what we're complaining about is what an incredible advantage. It is to win the coin flip. But the saints didn't take advantage. So you can be mad about the call, and they should be because you can what if what if everything? But if that play it had happened, and they'd gotten the call all they would need to do as kneel down three times in kick a short field. So you can complain about the OT and say, well, they could have won it there. But they wouldn't have even been there. If they'd gotten the coal, right? I wonder this. We've heard from the league office that they blew the call. We heard from end let's hear Nickell Robey Coleman. This is this is him talking about how he thought he was going to get called for the DP either. The ball the ball. It would have been a different story. But. In middle. The rest. Yeah. Sure wasn't tipped. But does it make saints fans and saints players feel any better that instead of coming out and defending the call or arguing about it? The Rams are just saying listen we got away with one we're not gonna feel guilty for winning. But will at least give it to you that this was got screwed. I don't think so Sarah in part because I think that the people that the saints wanna hear from today are the NFL office publicly Roger Goodell anybody else L river on publicly not just phone call to Sean Payton, the Lavigerie it's not at the Rams the Rampton doing it like the they they committed a play. But not then was is whether a flag is thrown or not to me. I think that saints fans are probably most angry at the league today. That's a good point. I do think it would feel better for me than if the other team tried to pass it off as as not a blown call. That's just me though. Spain and Fitz coming up next. What's been the reaction in Los Angeles. We'll chat with DeMarco far about it next Spain and fits so a lot of talk..

"Big play in the game hook up between after the Rams tie it with a field goal on a second. Twelve drew Brees goes up counted. Ted Ginn junior junior Joyner the safety coming over just a little late getting there he goes up and makes the catch just after the two minute warning. So the saints get the ball inside the twenty yard line. Now, it becomes a coaching game. Now, it's use of time out. Now, it's who blinks first certainly saints wanna get a touchdown and make this as difficult as possible. Rams Ramsey bardy used one time out here in the second half. Saints are going to try and pounded into the end zone. Take time off the clock and come away with the points, if they get seven they're in good stead, if they get three then the Rams could get the ball back and be able to get back into field goal position and tie it up and maybe setting this game to overtime. But giving you the complete an updated situation as we speak minute fifty eight to play. So we have to too many. Warning. Saints have the ball inside. With the ball thirteen yard line, yell a thirteen. So they're inside Debretts zone. I thought they might have been in inside the ten I thought it was at the eight it's two thirteen after eight forty three yard completion between breeze and Ted Ginn. So the saints are very much in scoring position. Twenty.

"Coming up in a few minutes, followed by Mr. Ed Coleman. Boy, haven't talked to NEC in a long time talking about the Mets and baseball in general free agency, and such and we invite your phone calls betwixt between before and after at eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six week men kind of all over the place this weekend, of course, with football the predominant factor with the championship games being played tomorrow. Both games. I think are really pick could go either way. I don't have strong feelings about either one. I'm picking the Rams and Kansas City. But would I be shocked at the saints wanna absolutely not playing at home? The patriots with their. Season where patriots you're showing cracks problems? Well, they still were eleven and five they still won their division. And they still blew away a very good. I was gonna say San Diego, but its LA charger team in the playoffs last week. So you can't count them out. You can't count Bill Belichick out because he comes up with things that you don't expect. He is very good at analyzing other teams weaknesses and coming up ways to combat their strengths more. So than any coach perhaps in the history of the sport. So you can't you can't just say, well, the past time has come and gone and come and gone. They still won the division. They still are in the AFC championship game. And oh, yeah. Well, they don't win it every year. They don't get to the Super Bowl every year. They don't win the Super Bowl every year. But they're there every year. They don't go away. And that's the amazing thing with a forty one year old quarterback and head coach that is coach for so long. And you know, you keep hearing well different voices. You know, you hear the same voice over and over and over again, they're not going to respond to it. Well, they seem to don't they? All right. Let's get to our phones. "And now he's racking up one hundred yards. I mean, who do you who do you try to contain who do you try to stop? They have so many different ways to attack you. Whereas it seems like the saints whether it's by design or it's sort of just kind of all this way. They they seem like a two man offense. Right. Well, the the the saints are a wide zone run team. Just like the Rams are a wide zone run team. I met with Sean McVay. And he's like, hey, man. We're on the same thing. You guys ran we run nickel we run three wide receivers. But we ran the same the same exact offense from a run standpoint that you guys ran in Denver the nineties same place. Same everything, you know, it's based on. Eighteen nineteen handle eighteen nineteen force. You know, eighteen nineteen pitch toss. You know, those. I mean, it's the same stuff, and frankly, sort of the saints the saints base out of that so much so that they got my offense of line. Coach Alex gives my old office one coach, he's a main consultant for them. So he's working a I've talked to him several times the last couple of weeks of talked to him a couple times a week. So they're running a lot of the same things. The the differences to me is that if you muddy the waters for Jared Goff. You can have a lot of success against him. If the I read in his progression is open then he's going to cut you up. And so their offense is really predicated on running the football and all the stuff that opens up on the play action off of that run. The difference is if you shut down the first option for the saints, drew Brees get you anyhow do you don't mean. Like if you shut down we've seen we've seen the Rams get completely shut down by the bears. And guess what? Happened your golf through four picks we've seen that offense completely shut down their number one option in the Ron and all the sudden they're passing game became pretty average. So you can shut down the number one option because the saints wanna run it is core. Sean Payton wants to run the football, but you can shut that down. And if you go back to last week in the you know in the NFC divisional game against the eagles. How many third down and sixteenths third done in fourteenth third down in twenties. Drew Brees complete. I mean, there was a bunch of them in that game. So you shut down there. I read their first option there, I whatever. And he still got you like that's the difference between the two teams to me if the first stuff if you're caught. For stuff gets shut down with Jared Goff Jared Goff, and I've talked to several defense corners around the league about this. They think if you can shut down their first all their first stuff that he he is not as good getting to that secondary receiver getting that secondary option. It sounds like you're saying the absolute key to this game is the saints ability to control the Rams on the ground. Absolutely. It is the number one key to this game in your opinion. I make all their big plays all their stacked layered concepts in their routes and all that stuff comes off their running game. And if you shut that down, I think they become I think I think their quarterback is still a young guy. He's still he's still a limited guy and his improvisation skills to me aren't that of Patrick Mahomes. Who is almost the exact opposite. Hey, let's make them throw it to his first option because when he breaks the or when he breaks out or when the play gets off schedule that guy just absolutely cuts in half saints up to it. I know you have a lot of respect. For the Rams running game. I do. Yeah. I do. I'm going to take the home team. I think I think the crowd noise and just playing, you know, do you remember them coming out of of Hurricane Katrina that first game against the Atlanta Falcons? Like, I just expect that kind of crowd involvement, which is as an old offensive player..

"The entire. Nineteen season. Injury. Daddy has will be selfish. Now would dad force Carolina to start thinking about life after Cam Newton. I I don't think so what I think Carolina would work to do if they want to win next year. Bring a prove a quarterback a guy who's may be looking fan contract isn't gonna get it. I don't know. I'll give you an example. Let's say Joe flacco doesn't have a great market if he's released by Baltimore. And Joe flacco wants to prove to people. I could still point this sleek, I can still put a high level go there win nine or ten games play. Well, and maybe you get a big contract somewhere else. I that's what Carolina would have to pivot to. So that's bad news. If you're a Carolina panther fan now as you get ready for these two championship games. You know, there are some distinct similarities between the Rams and the saints. The chiefs in the patriots. The similarity. Of course, is that all forty steams. They put up a bow on points there. One two three four and scoring offense. So you're gonna see a lot of points out figure on championships Sunday. That's where these teams a similar where these teams are very different. You think about the identity of New England for what the last seventeen eighteen years spreading ballot. Check the Kansas City identity is being. Four about a minute. Because of the emergence of Patrick Mahomes has been this unbelievable talent all year a quarterback. And I think a couple of weeks from now you're gonna find out he's the MVP the league. So you're gonna hear ten thousand times passing the torch, passing the torch, passing the torch. And I don't want to hear the whole nobody believes in us team from Tom Brady and the patriots again. I mean, if they want to keep that in house, they want to keep that in a locker and be my guest knowing the way New England is dominated this division. I don't need to. Here that see that any which way. But that is a major difference between those two teams on a flip side. You have the saints in Iran's. They both put up lot offense. They both put up ten points. But you've got Sean Payton and drew Brees been for along that then you have this. New age coach, Sean McVeigh. Giorgia quarterback in Gerry Goffin a team. That's trying really make them work and get to that first Super Bowl. To fascinating games. And the point spreads would indicate that with Kansas City right now is three point favorite and the New Orleans Saints a three and a half point favorite. I know. Well, I can ball games. I have a stronger read a struggle lean on one of the games compared to the other. And I want to feel that now. Now, you're gonna have to wait until Friday morning at around four forty when you get the tweet for me. Tanya who Alec? And it was a rough vision. Ron we'll leave it at that very rough. But said the Bethpage Chris he's up next on a out up AJ. I gotta make a lot of points. But you know, I'll hang up, and you can comment on whatever you see fit. First of all don't forget about Louis and Bowie with the Syracuse before prowl, okay with Louis Louis and Bowie shell is what put the orange on the map. That's number one. Number two, a quick defensive John Mara only one franchises one in four separate decades the Super Bowl, and I'm a big giant fan. And I'll take that all the time. So I think he gets a lot of leeway from people like me, and that is eventually gonna do the right thing. Giants the only team that won one Super Bowl in the last four decades. Okay. Also, I don't think I disagree with I think gentleman loves saquon Barkley. I think Mara had nothing to do with that. I think if Gettleman went to Maryland said, I gotta get Sam darnold. He totally. I think marijuana went along with that. And they would have figured out what to do it. Eli gentleman loves saquon Barkley he thinks he's going to be in the hall of fame. I think you're right about that. Chris I that's totally fair. Now, I disagree with the no knock on saquon just because. Because at a need for a quarterback. I do believe that Dave Gettleman made that pick. And I think you hit on a fair point with Mera Mera is going to have more leeway compared to wilpon compared compared to John because of the success that being said, though, Chris I do think it's okay to criticize them when they get a couple of these things wrong and over the last couple of years. I'll be honest they've gotten some of these situations completely wrong. Darlie great. Totally great. Like, the macadear thing is screwed up. You know, we don't have to revisit that again. Now. Listen, the main reason I called is going forward. Let's think forward this is how the giants can totally this is what they should absolutely do sign Nick fall. He's an eastern quarterback. He knows what it's like to win the northeast. I saw him complete twenty five in a row against the Redskins. He's good now division. I would go out. Definitely sign him. Okay. That being said once you sign him. We have the six pick overall. I would trade. Back. There's a lot of quality in this draft. Especially in the top picks. I keep looking at it. I would try to get jonelle. I tried to get Williams the offensive tackle. I don't know if you could trade down and get John Williams. I think is your guy. And that's the guy you want to anchor your offensive line foles for whoever this quarterback is going to be you gotta get him at six I'm not opposed to trade down. I'm not. But if you a Williams, I don't think you can wait till eleven or twelve. It's not a terrible plan. Now, I draft quarterback before signing Nick foles. But if you tell me Nick foles giant quarterback next year, there's not wrong with that guy could play guy can win Scranton PA rich. He's up next on a foul. What's up rich? Hey JJ. I just want to say it grew you obey. All I know. And I listen Gary McNamara lives, maybe half a mile is family for me by the greatest. Syracuse team ever to me. I'm still haunted to eighty six eighty seven. Yeah. Rich on that. They should have won. I'm so happy and thankful. I was not alive at that time to witness the kief smart game. Because if I was alive for the key smart game. It would about ten years off of my life, and my mind I slept and had nightmares. Then I was hoping like wake up like the Howard Trish turn into the stretch. Irish a block that Chapman keyed smart still hot up. They get to the jets. I just want to say this. Yeah. We haven't had a rivalry. The jets are the dolphins since we played each other. Being a jet fan Dorney eighties and jets fan. That's listening will agree with me. He would look at the schedule at the beginning of the year and say why don't we play Miami on Monday night that game was like a playoff game. And I think New England's underway out. And the way I look at it. Maybe we got a year or you. I want to believe you that the patriots are on their way out. And listen father time is undefeated, you gotta figure at some point. There will be a decline with Tom Brady put his long as he's there as long as Bella check is there. They will continue to win and they will continue to win in a big way. But it's about these other franchises within the division. Getting right. So that when they ride off into the sunset, you're ready to go. We'll see if the jets have that with gays, and Donald we'll see what Miami's looking to do now with most likely Bryant Florez. And I'm sure new quarterback is at one in the first round. Are they gonna stink up the joint and go get to attack all the following year? I'd be cool with that for buffalo. I think they got Asala head coach is Sean McDermott at quarterback who showed you something last year and Josh Allen. Let's sit down to Tampa Paul up next on a foul. It's up Paul. Hey, what's up JJ longtime? We'll talk about boy always get man. What's happening? Hey, man longtime ran fan since nineteen eighty seven. So it's a big big Sunday for me going from. Four wins two years ago to to this Sunday. And winter Lewis, I was telling my dad, what her to lose what the chips fall if you know, I was rooting for the eagles on Sunday. But I think the Rams are Bill internally to win that game in Orleans, but I think deep down inside. I think the Rams are going to have to get pressure and breeze because I think the Rams, you know, they really didn't get pressure on that Prescott last week. So I would scratch the whole two hundred sixty years. I don't think you'll even remotely close that you'll probably go back to the normal. You know, maybe maybe girly gets one hundred twenty but I think at the end of day, maybe Brocker sue in Donald those guys are going to have to have a big attack. I think don't forget I remember Sean Payton is a disciple of Bill Parcells. So I think at the end of the day. I think you'll see Sean Payton offense, maybe go back old school run the ball a lot trying to keep that ramble off the field. So you could see a a real sloppy muck it up game. Or maybe the saints try to keep a low scoring because I don't think the saints wanna get no slugfest with the Rams scoring y. So remember them. John into a slugfest as far as a high scoring game. The last time they played and you hit on a good point. They will need to generate pressure on drew Brees because your secondary right now is an absolute mess. Michael Thomas, destroyed them in the first match up, and I don't trust to we or Peters to lockdown. Michael thomas? This is not totally but five or six years ago. Michael Thomas could have his way with that secondary. If I'm the Rams the two concerns, how am I going to match up in the secondary? And is Jared Goff ready to go on the road and win a game of this magnitude too serious questions. It's not sixteen here on his Tuesday evening stage. Cianci Stransky Stevie summers out here on the fan. We got a lot more you calls, Adam gays and Greg Williams Zion. Williamson the giants baseball we've been all over the map, but a very fun show. When we come back he's power notch on the NFL network. He does compass media. He gives you these on believable breakdowns on Twitter, Brian Baldinger. He's up next. "One of the reasons they got blown out once threw three picks. This could be a game. Nick foles throws three picks. That's got to be on the board because you're going to have to take chances. You're going to have to take shots. You're going to have to try to make big chunk game changing plays on both sides of the ball that leave you susceptible to the opposite happening. That's why that's why such a tough game to pick. Could. I see eagles winning. Yeah. They could could I see the same twin by twenty one points. Absolutely. Like the eagles to me. Best chance is a game plan that allows them the possibility of getting blown out. I believe that the eagles especially the defense. You can't give the saints to upsets. So I believe you put people in the box take the saints out of the running game. Because the last two years what do the saints wanna do? They want to build a pound the football. So as you mentioned they need to be able to get in the gaps in get tackles for losses on first down their secondary can be had. So I'm concerned about their secondary. And how they match up with champagne I believe after the bye, I believe Theron Armstead being healthy as far as the left tackle helter. He's got a torn. So he's not going to be healthy until he gets surgery. I believe that the same. Get back to the saints that we saw in week number two to about week number thirteen right? Those are the saints. I believe show up on Sunday. And I believe that this is the end of the Nick, Nick foles rice. Well, you have to plan Kamara too, right? So what happens is if he's offset, and I'm a defensive end don't worry about going to get the second need to chip him. I need him half the release inside you because I can't have him isolating. My linebacker. So I gotta make sure I haven't bracket us. So that means if wings that means you get Phil as as a defendant run by chip him to make sure that you can't get out slows down your pass rush. But at tries prevent out yet. More from having a wheel Rogo for forty yard touchdown, right? Exactly saw when Camara gate wasn't a wheel rail. But we saw him get out on my Malcolm Jenkins big game. So you gotta sacrifice something, but it's to prevent the big play. Draw? Later on coming up. How can Mario Cooper, Johnny? The Rams secondary. We'll talk next. I. "It sounds like as long as they can slow down the saints a little bit US think the eagles have a chance here. Listen, I well. I don't really know. What listen here's what I think. I think that this is a game that Doug Peterson is almost built to coach because he always wants to be the underdog. He wants to be the guy that you need trick plays. You need to go for it on fourth down you need to take big chances. And so we have seen in limited sample when they're the favorite when they just need to go with a standard gambling. They haven't thrived. But in the game where they are decided underdog where they are going to have to make big plays on both sides of the ball. I do trust Peterson in that spot to have his team ready, and we have seen from the eagles. They are. I don't think they're going to have them in tally of let's just make sure we don't get blown out in the first match of one of the reasons they got blown out cars once threw three picks. This could be a game. Nick foles throws three picks. That's gotta be on the board because you're going to have to take chances. You're going to have to take shots. "To go against the pats in the spot, very very difficult. Because they've just been so successful at it. But I think the chargers getting four can win this game. I think they're the better team. And I think it'll be their pass rush. That will be the difference. You'll be saying in the second half while the pats can't give time to get anything done. It's not his day. I think that could be the difference in the game. Fifty four ninety nine and where they line up watch fifty four and five ninety nine how they get blocked in this game. And whether they're getting blocked in this game. Charges plus four. I think it's a field goal. Either way. So I'll just plus four game number three. And then the fourth game the eagles and the saints. In New Orleans. I went with the. Bears last week. I was in the car. At the end of this game. Unfortunately, had no choice Jack had a basketball game. So I was driving them to the to the game. The game was shown and game. And the bears. Just give the ball back to the eagles for that drive of five. I thought when they didn't get a two point conversion I thought it was a very big play bears got up seven. It was a very big play. They didn't. I thought it was the first of many things that went wrong between there and the end of the game. No question when you go back and look at this game the bears. Missed incredible opportunities to put the put the eagles away. And that's the same thing that the saints have to deal with the saints have to put the eagles away. Because if you let the eagles and foles hanging around into the fourth quarter inside one score. They will beat you have shown that they know how to do that they shown they missed the finally know how to do that. Foles through some picks up for grabs last week. He made some plays that we're not good. He played a little loose. And then all of a sudden when it was there. He had a habit. He had it and the bears their defense didn't get the job done. They couldn't stop that. Last drive down the take touchdown. And then obviously the missed field goal after the make than the miss even get that right in Philadelphia. Now, everything goes right for Philly. But doesn't. I wasn't there for the. Marriage. So you don't be there for the funeral. The question is game is. Do the saints who are better at this than anybody in the league in his toughest place as originally the play in the era where the pits or any tough places to play. This is a tough place to play. And the saints have a habit of exploding. I rule of winning a playoff games the stabilized the game. Sean, we'll do everything to make sure that doesn't happen. And I think the key is you'll know early if the eagles can't get a pass rush, and they are getting blocked and and breezy time. He will cut them apart and watch Ted Ginn junior. They brought him in. They brought him in to make big plays. They have not had a speed guy this year than it. Camara and they will try to get him down the field, and they will not be surprised to see him at some big plays. Now, he won't catch them. All but he can catch a couple of when he catches them. You'll be big plays. I have learned to have grudgingly have great respect for the eagles. I picked them in the Super Bowl did not pick them before the SuperBowl. They beat me and all almost playoff games last year. I did pick him in the Super Bowl because I had given up getting my head handed to me by them. I want against them last week at the bears would beat him. I really put the would be them and the best didn't get it done. But stubbornly I'm going with the team and the team that's home a team that I think can break the game open at the saints. Saints win by two types down. So the saints minus eight. Is game them before so colts plus five and a half. Rams minus seven charges plus four. Eagles minus eight. To AFC dogs to NFC fades divisional playoff weekend. And he would you say what did you say? A saints wanna say, well, let's say oh, excuse me. He said I said eagles. I apologize. So I think the saints minus eight. Is pick number four. Back after this..

"Like with all due respect, his Agar. It's like he can do that town Scott, not many tight ends can do that. In fact, the Dow Scott, can and that is awesome to see. So hopefully, we are going to get some usage out of him. But just like I said kind there with getting PJ. Williams in Eli apple getting them mismatched here with some of these receivers. I don't think you totally go away from eleven maybe it's kinda just more of a split in this game in or kind of just feed the personnel as feed the hot hand. Like, you know, if you're if it's working stick with it. He he go into it. So I will be interested to see at the very good point. Just because the titans were such a non factor last time if they can make a difference this time. Going on the other side of the ball flipping the script here a little bit. We look at drew Brees a hall of Famer, we know the success. He's had in the playoffs. You read the numbers just a few minutes ago. But if you wanna contain the saints you really need to contain the ground game. And and the saints wanna run the ball that's their MO. They they want to get. They wanna get drew Brees under center, and they wanna hand the ball off to their to stud running backs Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara and in the first game of the season Ingram ran all. Over the eagles. Sixteen carries for one hundred and three yards. Six point four average two touchdowns. Kamara head thirteen carries for seventy one yards and also had a reception for thirty seven yard touchdown since. Then the eagles run defense has gotten a little bit better. Just allowing fifty seven and a half rushing yards a game in the last four games. But they're going to need to do a much better job against these two runners because really this is the the running game got the saints. It gets them where they wanna go. When you when you can when drew Brees can start using the play action pass and going down the field. That's when the saints. No. They have us if you can get them in second long and third and long. Now, you've given yourself a chance to maybe not stop drew Brees but contain him a little bit. So that you give yourself a chance to get off the field on third down and keep the score. I don't know in the thirties. At least if you're the saints are in if you're the anytime the saints do run the ball to me is mostly gift. They take editor hands like give into Ingram and Camara, and hopefully, you can shut them down. I was not have them. Go awfully did last time. Twenty nine carries total one hundred seventy four yards two touchdowns. And I was Levi's started off things in that game. Thirty eight yard run. You talked about Sidney Jones come to set the tone early with that. So yeah, I mean, they're going to have to find a way to to be much better against the running. I think they will we talked about here. They've been better. They've been more still just look what they did in the last week. They didn't let anything get going against them with either Howard or Cohen. So that was a positive sign in. I think. Just having joining in back getting neither healthier than he was Trayvon Hester randomly being hero. All of a sudden, you know, the right line there is playing stout against the run. I feel good about that overall. So to me, you know, the the the bigger concern just has to be breezy. It's just been so dominant in when you look back to that the first game. I mean, he like he was perfect. Throw us was amazing. It's like we can't do it. I don't know that you're supposed to do differently. Basically like, it's he's he's having an amazing game. And you re pretty much just can't do anything about it. What sauce, but that hall of Famer for a reason that's just kind of the deal with him. So that'll be tough. If he's on. It's like you can't really there's not a ton. You can do about it. You can't really stop him. I mean, I guess I guess the thing to do is is trying to take away..

"And look forward to catching up with an anticipation of the championship games. Next sunday. Have pain? I mean, we thought that the public was going to gravitate towards underdogs. I'm stunned with some of those bet splits and percentages, Dave share with us recency buys baby. All one last week. It's what people saw last. Not that those are the wrong sites. But in Dave Dave throughout a trend. There thing that was like the first time in a while. They're underdogs have been doing very well. So it all makes sense, right? Underdogs doing well. People have kind of grasp that the more coverage of sports betting. People are seeing that on their Twitter feeds and their timelines. And they're more apt to going back to the well with teams that have cashed for them previously. And it's not like these favorites. Here don't have holes either. Right. It's we know Kansas City has trouble defensively. We know the Rams of struggled down the stretch. Offense New England's offense doesn't look as dynamic. They've had trouble stopping the run this season. New Orleans is kind of sputtered down the stretch. So there are reasons why the public's gravitating towards the dogs more than just, hey, the number and more than just recency buys as well. I have to think too for a recreational better standpoint the idea of backing Andrew luck as an underdog Dak Prescott to a lesser extent. Philip rivers, and of course. Nick foles much more attractive than going to the window week seventeen with a ticket on Josh Johnson. Blake Bortles or some of the other clown shows that'll take snaps under center. So it makes a ton of sense. But we have one order of business still left to complete before we bid our listeners a fun fair. Well for these four playoff games. Best bet investment we were able to get there with the Dallas Cowboys money line last weekend. Final score not exactly indicative of how that game went. Where are we going this weekend? My friend will probably shock some people. And I was stunned. Dave mentioned this one because. I don't think they were hit with it. But I know he gets his reports from from a pretty sharp guy there who does does their odds. So it makes sense and he gets them Intel. So we're going with the eagle saints over. Let's call fifty one for grading purposes. There are a couple of fifty and a half out there. Fifty one's a key number. So if you can shop around and get fifty and a half also, do it absolutely a bonus there, but will great it fifty one. And we just got done breaking down this game. I really believe that we've seen a deflation in this number based on the playoffs. I really do again. This was a game that in the regular season open fifty three and a half fifty four in got steamed up and touched fifty eight came back down a little bit. Because hey, you know, it's fifty eight in the NFL we can't possibly go over that number. And and it didn't fell in the middle fell fifty five. If you got a good number. He cashed if you chase. You didn't. But I just I think New Orleans again is going to have some success here. Just like they always do at home. I mean, even against what I think is a better Pittsburgh defense. They're still hanging points than the one face here in Philadelphia. And I I really think Philadelphia scores here, I think they can match them scores. I think Philadelphia gets to twenty one we're going to be gold here a playoff game over on the bet the board podcasts. I don't even know who you've become. Yeah. It's it's it's pretty wild. Adapter die is the philosophy until about I don't know five fifteen when the game scoreless in the second quarter. And I'm getting tax about how I hate overs. And I'm never doing this again. I mean, I'm just I'm not an over guy. And I think for for a lot of people. I've I've listening know me, well, I've transitioned I've tried not to go the way the dinosaur takes a lot to get me on an over. And it takes a lot to get me on a boy off over. So a lot of things are lining here. We have fish fishery entered banana land here on the bet deport podcast, but over fifty one the going rate on the eagles and saints wanna say a special thanks to first and foremost, all the listeners out there continue to flood I tunes, but those five star reviews, I think pain we have one more contest before we close things out for the season..

"But you can also take advantage of him on those double moves. Yes concepts that I mean, Michael Thomas, isn't that sort of receiver? But trick wants with is Ted Ginn is is taken playing in this game. I mean PR probably probably is going to catch some thirty yard pass. And everyone's gonna read it us The Danny Kelly's genius, which is true. So I the saints to have the personnel to do this. I also we look at the eagles as this team that has been able to stop the run consistently over the last couple of years, but that's not been the case this year. I mean, they're run defense has been pretty mediocre, especially on runs to the perimeter. And that's actually where Mark Ingram has been really dangerous since he came back. So I think that the saints Mueller run the ball more often than we think in this game. And the eagles are the they've given up the second most receptions in the league this year to run. Running backs outside of the falcons who are just we're on a historic pace. And that's what the saints wanna do in this passing game two is attack. You with Kamara as much as I think that the eagles had this sort of magic. I'm not sure they're gonna build a slowdown breeze enough for them to have any chance in this game. I think it's a touchdown win for New Orleans. Yeah. It's it's ninety nine percent. Looking like the saints should win this game. And there's one percent is just screaming. There's something magical about Nick foles. And and it's bigger than all of us. That's about my prediction is saints win. But I'm ready again for anything. I'm going to go ahead and pick. Micheal Thomas against Kraivong. Lebron? Click craven LeBlanc. I feel comfortable doing head big up pick up pick against Nick full. See what happens already done it once? Now. We'll probably like saints thirty to twenty. Yeah. I think that's fair. That's maybe thirty to seventeen. Yeah. I think the saints are just are better at home. There. This up to me Angie's. I'm I'm not sure how to build this case for the eagles. Because again, this eagled pass rush can't take advantage of the saints team. If they're offensive line is goods offset is back you'd if he's a little bit banged up. I still have just too much faith in what the saints offenses. Yup. Hi, man. I looking forward to night New Orleans or to hanging out going to a game. It's playoff time baby. This is fun. I'm not looking forward any nights out in New England. I learned something in Kansas City, which is just make all these plans to go out and have dinner and eat meals like a human and then it's cold. And then I just say I'm just going to stay at the hotel. It is not going to be cold New Orleans, and I'm very I know not through the night when I'm there so arm in in New England, it's also there's not much going on in Foxborough heading on patriots bliss, excuse me, a little city called Providence Rhode Island. Go to go to the scorpion Mexican restaurant. How never it's called shots fired. I- patriots places not fun, man. There's not a lot happening to patriots place. "Golick junior fifty seven and there was a big win in big d last night for the home team Cowboys, they go out there and shut down ten points of that saints often saints offense that had covered. I think every game in the last nine or damn near close to that. A saints offense that rarely gets held under thirty points and saints offense last night had difficulty getting production from the places it was most used to that Dallas. Linebacking core is fast and physical Jalen Smith and Layton Vander ash were flying around the field smack and dudes now so much so that Jalen Smithson absolutely been called for one of those targeting penalties on that hit late in the game. Against Alvin Kamara won the a lot of people are gonna look at sideways because Alvin Kamara was on the sideline he did not look himself after that hit. And I'm sure. People are going to have questions about that. And should he have been getting looked at should have been in the protocol at that point? And definitely should Jalen. Smith have been flagged which the answer was. Yes. It was a devastating hit. It was clear launching. It was helmet-to-helmet. It was what the crown it was almost everything usually need, but didn't get in that spot. But it doesn't change the fact that over the course of that game. Jalen Vander age were flying around blanketing these running backs along with heath in the secondary. And some of the other guys dropped down in the box. The Cowboys owned the middle of the field on offense and defense last night in a way that still wins you football games. Like, it's and I know a lot of today is going to be about people talking about how you can win football game. Still this idea of being built on a run game. In defense way, we mentioned in the prior days, and we had this conversation before. But I think it's more about the way you control and match personnel. And that's what the Cowboys did. So well last night, which is they matched up. Well, with what the saints do best like the end of the. Day. We said the saints wanna run the ball. The saints wanna use that to hitter during the backfield and the Cowboys were able to with linebackers and safeties and was great defensive line pay play from DeMarcus Lawrence and company exploit the guard exploiting containers running backs, and thus die full eight saints offense that is a pretty high powered unit on almost every other day. Not everyone is uniquely situated to that. And you gotta give credit to the Cowboys. The foresight on that Jalen Smith, pick kind of a hope at a prayer because we never knew if he was going to be the same guy. This is the Jalen Smith. I got to watch it Notre Dame for so many years and Cowboys fans have to be thrilled with that. Now I last year on ESPN radio and the ESPN app we Abol season looming.
