Meanwhile, here in Chicago, a prayer vigil and math will be held tonight to mark the anniversary of the invasion, Nick Gale has more. The governor wants to see a $350 million investment in the program for things like street outreach, rental assistance, more shelter and permanent supportive housing and a new initiative to help homeless adults find and keep a job. More than two decades after a tiny Greek Orthodox church in Lower Manhattan was destroyed in the September 11th attacks, that church is far grander replacement open to the public this week. Michael sorrows helped organize the new saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox church and shrine. The national shrine completes the Trinity at ground zero. You have the museum. You have the reflecting polls, but now faith has been restored to ground zero. Say Nicholas is in an elevated park overlooking the rebuilt trade centers memorial Plaza. Olga Pablo says it has been a long time coming. 21 years, a lot of hardships, a lot of ups and downs, but we finally made it. Meanwhile, another building project is being planned on the banks of the Jordan River near the traditional baptism side of Jesus. This is worried some who want to preserve the area's character. Samir murad tears the organization planning the development. The baptism site itself is a Unesco World Heritage protected site. And will remain in its pristine condition as it has done for the past 2000 years. The Jordanian government donated about 340 acres of land for the development of the area known as Bethany beyond the Jordan. Tradition says John the Baptist, baptized Jesus here in what became Christianity's third holiest site. Many modern day visitors Don white robes and immerse themselves in the sacred waters, the development work will kick off with a sustainable village near the historic site. Later stages will see the introduction of botanical gardens, a bird sanctuary, and a wellness center. Historian Ian torrhen says preservation in the midst of development is crucial. Part of the listing is to preserve the site in its wilderness state, not turn it into something which is over commercialized, but to retain its spirituality. I'm Walter ratliff.

There was a time that don't you think Nina that sonic loves was actually a bigger party than that Christmas because they were presents. And then when Christmas, Christmas was more the religious movement family and much more in church was much more the birth of Jesus and it was the religion and you went to master the nightmares. I wasn't a choir, I was acquired. I didn't get presents when I was young for Christmas. And saint Nicholas. And now it's all changing. In the closet still there, but not as much because they have the big dinner and then you have the presentation. On the tree. Let's talk about the Christmas December 24 December 25 celebrations in Belgium. What would happen typically? We do mostly every year. Is that after church or regardless of church? It depends. If you go to the midnight mass, which usually started on 11, you'd be out midnight. Carolin- tell me about the Christmas tree and how you decorated my favorite thing. Actually is that we always back in the day to day. It's just our family but back in the day all our friends come to our house and we went out to cut the treats and we still do cut the trees ourselves back. The old tradition is actually because I come from a region where the forest is owned by the Duke and so the tradition actually is surprisingly. It was the proper thing to do. You stole it. That was what was expected. So no no you have to see the dentist proper Christmas tree steal the tree from the Duke. Yes and then we bring it home and it would take a full day and everyone's efforts to to decorate it and of because natural candles. Of course that's natural candle holder. We still lex. You also cut the Christmas to L. together with my little daughter's with that solution to go out it and of course now we buy it. Did you not there anymore but I remember back to my childhood lot of secrecy is involved. Someone got the tree. Put it up. It's kind of weird but it's still lives on. These traditions are still there. This is great to know that it lives on. I've been in Nurnberg on a very cold night with a group going from square to square and into the Church courtyard and Kendall it and singing these songs with Gusto.
