"Go to a nurse at Saint Luke's hospital in Missouri. Name is Shelby Heenan. Alison, I really can't stand to see grown people making rookie mistakes. It's a couple of issues, and I'm just not debating anymore. Okay. The Y white people can't say the N word combo, even if it's in a rap song is one of them and other usually happens around this time of year. And it's the why can't white people wear black fees Kabul yesterday was Halloween and listen, man. Here's the thing. Everybody had the freedom to do what it is that they want to do you can say what you want. You can do what you want. But you are not free from the consequences of those words and actions. Okay. Everything has the cost, and if you're not willing to pay the price and don't do or say, whatever it is you want now. Shelby Heenan is the white woman. I don't know if they don't have WI fi in this particular town in Missouri. Or if she doesn't watch TV or maybe she's in our own little echo chambers. Just her and her. White friends discussing why they should be able to wear black face. Well, Shelby is also the latest in a long line of Caucasians who have had to learn the Hardaway about wearing black face. Let's go to KC TV CVS file for the report. Police tonight a nurse here at Saint Luke's. Ethan Lee summit is out of a job after posting photo of herself to social media. This is the post from Shelby heathens now deactivated Facebook page where she ended other are seen in black face. He didn't captioning the photo Jay Z and beyond say it was just last week. Megan Kelly was fired from NBC after saying she didn't understand why dressing in black face with so offensive that it didn't bother anyone back when she was a kid prostate. Look profitable says it learned about that social media post yesterday and by lunchtime today, he was no longer an employee here. Shelby. Shelby. Shelby. Why? Megan Kelly died on the cross last week. Do you not pay attention to the signs in your life? Did you not see the backlash to Megan? Kelly was. She asked that question last week. Shelby smart people learn from their own mistakes wild people learn from the mistakes of others. If Megan Kelly got fired because she simply pondered to question. Why can't why people wear black face? Then what do you think would happen to a white person who actually said F it through Manley's to the win and wore blackface playmaking Kelly from last week because y'all must've forgotten? Because you do get in trouble. If you are a white person who puts on Halloween or a black person who puts on Whiteface for Halloween like I was a kid. That was okay. As long as you were addressing character. There was a controversy on the real housewives of New York with Luan as she dresses, Diana Ross, and she made her skin look darker than it really is. And people said that that was racist. And I don't know I felt like Diana Ross. She wants to look for one day. I I don't know how that got racist on Halloween. Kelly says things like she doesn't know why people can't wear black face. It was okay. When she was a key. That's because it was probably okay. Because she was around other Milwaukee growing up, and there was no black people around are white people who truly know history to tell you why that's not okay in the white people do not history of black face. They probably agree with it. So they don't give a damn so listen for the of time. Here's Dr Matthew Osborne, associate professor of history at the university of Missouri. Kansas city. This man is in your state Shelby. He knows the history of black faithless here, it it was meant to denigrate lampoon, African American people often in settings that were meant to show black people in a position of servitude. Why are you all willing to ruin your lives for blackface? I understand why you would want this melanin. It is indeed a privilege to be black swan understand why you want to be for Halloween. But if someone is telling you something is offensive, and you see other people getting fired for simply asking why. They don't understand. Why people can't do it? And what would make you think you can get away with it is your privilege are sentiment title, Mitch set up different than any other white person who has experienced defeat of blackface decor. Cassidy of privilege will never see store. Amaze me now Shelby is unemployed. And I prayed it the bronzes. She used is almost impossible to wipe off because I would love for her to experience how hard it is to get a job would black skin Kathy Griffin. Dude, honest, please give this giant Giro mail. The biggest he. Also, a tough way to learn that you are indeed not beyond. Charlemagne? Thank you for that dole queue today. Yes, sir. "And you can check that out. All right. Here's the story. The one of the controversies last week was of course, Megan Kelly on the hurt the final hour of the today show, which was was her our show and she in anticipation of Halloween. She is having a conversation with a number of panelists and she talks about how she doesn't understand why going to Halloween parties or dressing up at Halloween in black face is necessarily bad. She says her argument is, hey, we used to do this when we were kids, and it all depends on what your intent is. And with the character is at cetera et cetera. There is a huge backlash from that. And she ends up being fired. Now, I candidly as I said last week, if if her show was successful and if the show. Oh had done better in the ratings. I wonder seriously whether or not this would have been enough to fire her, but but it's not like she went to a party and black face. She just said, hey, I don't necessarily understand why this is so wrong. All right. Well, we'll tell you story about somebody who did go to a party in black face. It's a woman she she works at Saint Luke's hospital in Kansas City, Saint Luke's in Milwaukee Saint Luke's in Kansas City her and her husband. She's a nurse at the at the hospital her and her husband apparently decided that they are going to go to a Halloween party last weekend. And they dress up as beyond say and Jay z, right? The the the entertainers the husband I'm looking at a picture now he puts on a ski cap sunglasses. He is in black face. And he's got a t shirt, and he's got a big old gold chain hanging around his neck. She dresses up as beyond say, she's wearing a wig long black curly hair. She's got a black top on. She's got black leotards. And then she's got this kind of like short gold LeMay dress. She also has black face on. She has darkened her face, and she has darkened her hands to make her appear as if she's African American when she is not. So they go to the party dressed as the rapper, Jay z and Beyonce. It they take a photograph. A photograph is taken of them at this particular party or on their way to the party or whatever their in stoop. So the dressed up like this rallying she posts it on her personal Facebook page now, this is not the hospitals website. It is her personal Facebook page, but I believe on her Facebook. It does a dentist you can figure out that she's she's a nurse at Saint Luke's hospital in Kansas City, not Milwaukee Kansas City identifies. What she does. No sooner does she post this and this post then goes viral, and there's a number of people who start complaining to Saint Lukes. About hey, you have this woman. Look, she went to this Halloween party dressed up is beyond say she's in black face. She is racist. You have to get rid of her and. Right after this happens the hospital acts, here's what they say on Monday afternoon. Saint Luke's health system became aware of a Saint Luke's east hospital employees who posted photos on a personal so on personal social media accounts of her and another individual dressed in black face for what appears to be Halloween event. The information was shared with appropriate health system personnel. And an investigation was initiated immediately while it is against Saint Luke's policy to comment on specific personnel matters. We can confirm that this individual is no longer a Saint, Luke's employees. Saint Luke's is deeply committed to our culture of diversity and inclusion it is fundamental to who we are as an organization, and we vigorously protected on behalf of all our patients, and employees and expect those who represent us to do the same. So in other words, she was canned because she went to this Halloween party dressed as beyond say in black face and posted the photos on social media. If she hadn't of posted the photos, and there had only been reports about it. I would assume Saint Luke's would have acted the same. But they saw the photos and they ended up firing GRA four one four seven nine nine one six twenty that is the accurate mortgage talk and text line. Should she have been fired for this? I think most of us would agree or understand that I don't know years and years ago, you used to have performers dressed up in black face, and did, you know exaggerated characters of of what they perceived to be stereotypical typical African American behavior. All right. We don't do that anymore. We we don't do that anymore. But but does it justify her being fired for doing this? She didn't attend to work event. This wasn't how she dressed if they had like a hairdressing costume sorta day. This was personal social media and presumably a private party that she attended. Was it right to fire her four one four seven nine nine one six twenty. What do you think we discuss in just a moment?.

I'm trying to jinx it. So you guys start sucking starts doing well. Piece of shit. All right. Moving onto the wonder wolves, what Harry wolves and Wolverhampton aka Saint Luke FC what? What? I don't get that reference. Tell me the Saint Luke FC reference in a second. They'd be Southampton to know and I took Southampton to play devil's advocate, never picking Southampton again goals by Cavallero and Castro auto Oto. I don't have pronounce his name. I didn't watch this game Martin. So tell me how they do the watering wolves. I mean they're continuing their good form so doing well. Yeah. I mean, granted goals came the super late part of game seventy. Nine hundred eighty seven th minute and. I think the wolves are in a similar situation as where are they real deal. They keep proving that they could be. So yeah, they did well under Nuno Sanchez. I really liked this team under Mick McCarthy, three years ago. I hated this team, but the wandering wolves in Wolverhampton. AK, Saint Luke's ESI. I think that they have a lot to be proud of. I think they are by far and away the best team that came up from the championship. We said that before, but to jump back to that Saint Louis c. I love the fact that it's other Wolverhampton Wanderers or Wolverhampton wolves. So I'm just changing the name of the club every single week and I'm doing research on Wolverhampton. They used to be called Saint Luke FC. I'm gonna change the name of next weekend because I just I love the wondering what was in Wolverhampton love them. Okay. Well, God damn Saint Luke FC. Fuck him. Also, you know what? Fuck Southampton to. I'm so happy they lost even though I didn't bet on them, but like I'm just happy. They lost because you know, Claude, Piel, all right on to Lester who I did bet on. Let's go boys, defeating Newcastle, two-nil, making breath of. Nita's sad. Once again, Jamie Vardi it's already party with the goal in the thirtieth minute in big old blockhead Tobey Maguire I was kidding our boy blockhead McGuire seventy. Third minute. Marin. I mean Harry Tobey Maguire God. I love his just giant big block of dome head. Yeah, he's pretty fantastic. He's by far, much ever defender in the print. The Amine Lester just dominated these this game itself, and now they basically establish themselves as look at toppy top nine team. They're going to run train on Newcastle one day this this game. I think the biggest news from this game is one blockhead Harry Maguire scoring because God bless that man and to Newcastle was fifty. FOX Newcastle is fhu cct. I mean, what a shame I would hate to see Newcastle go back to the championship. I would never say that on the podcast, but it would be a real shame if they went back to Newcastle of what we. Seen before, but I don't know less. There's flying high. I just love that lesser. I think we can officially say is a staple of the Premier League like I was so worried that they're going to get immediately relegated after winning the Premier League. And it'd be like one year wonder. I feel like they're here to stay like, you know..
