It seems anything crazy can happen. Yeah it does it. You don't see a lot of the eight seed upset once or you do see eight seed. One-seat upsets more often than you will see in the nba. Although this year might be the change for that in the nba. Hockey's just one of those games missile. I like baseball. I mean you could be the best team in the league. But if you're pitcher doesn't have the right stuff. That night doesn't matter. You could be playing from what i know about hockey. You could be playing your best game but if you're goalie struggling matter none of it matters you could you. Could outplay the team. This is sometimes a struggle that i have with hockey as you can play a team. Ninety nine percent of the time let it slip through one time it's over. That's that's also applies to soccer. I'm exhausted after that game last night. I don't know about you like that was just watching. It almost feels like whereas i was hopped up when i got home last night. A didn't sleep. That much woke up had to a radio hit and was still flying. Barely hit a sip and this morning. So i'm ready to go. I'm ready to break all this down because we have so much to get to in terms of what happened in last night's game the implications of said game and what it could mean going forward for the golden knights and the playoffs. Did you originally grow up in burbank or actually. Because you came from north carolina. I came from all over the place. Yeah so my parents were in the national park service. They were national park rangers So we moved like every two three years. I was born in north carolina. I think is only. I think i was there for less than a year. Obviously i don't remember And then Sequoia national park and it was a gateway origin saint louis blues and then it was cape cod and then two different places in cape cod and then it was delaware water gap pennsylvania and then virginia kind of between the shenandoah and outside of dc and then other parts of virginia for college and then the army which took me to tennessee and then to iraq and then to berkeley for graduate school. And i was there berkeley's the longest i've lived in the where i was there for about eight years. And then now la. I've the second longest. I've lived anywhere have been here for five years now. Yeah move with the parents. I mean it's kind of like a. You know a a military style of asking where you have posts now is that is that true with your with your parents. I mean not probably gonna sign somewhere yes so basically in order to get promoted in the park service you know you have to. You have to move parks because you know you don't. You can't have lateral movement within the same area very frequently. Some people say mary but you know for the most part you need to move to get promotions and get more experience and also. My parents had the same job so they couldn't actually work in the same park together. Us of that was another reason. So my parents actually Several times worked in completely different states. And my mom was on. My mom was at grand canyon and we were in pennsylvania and she'd fly back in every you know month or a couple of months or so and then she was in boston and we saw you know a lot of lot of commuting and But yeah i know so a lot of moving and also the other thing is is like they were on call you know because ever law enforcement search and rescue firer Ems all of that so a lot of times you know. We'd get calls in the middle of the night and we did live in park housing For quite a bit of our childhood. Which is it's not an actually cape cod. that was actually an old decommissioned military base. So so yeah yeah there's definitely parallels to to military life for sure..
