"What you did against Antonio Demarco because you're at that level and you can do those things but Antonio Demarco, we clearly saw is a guy that can you know he? He's a great fighter still did what he did against Giovanni people thought he won that fight so that fight even looks better. So you know it's just you continue to accumulate this this momentum and it's obviously driving you forward. Sorry. I just wanted to point that out. To go different routes you must. I don't even know what I was. GonNa say but I am going to say that we didn't following you for a long time. I. Don't know if you remember a reporter used to go to your gym right before you sign to PBC by his name was was Dominican only. Yeah. Yeah. I. Remember that. Yeah. Yeah. So we were covering you he was one of our guys and then I think he move somewhere else and had a kid but he would go to the gym and Gif footage from you and interviews from you when Chew X. Baghdad you guys worked at the same gym. It's An. Interesting name for the Jim. Can you let everybody know I it's on a tip of my tongue. Now it's the circle of discipline Madison. Discipline that's why I grew up at Man, I started down there when I was five years old started competing amateur boxing at eight and and I've been with them ever since, and now I still try out at air but also volunteer. Outta there. Like mentoring young men and women in Oh from inner city communities, communities, and we use a boxing as a tool to instill that discipline in Kinda capture. You know what I mean and and give them a better channel. To get that aggressive energy that got off or frustrated energy they got off instead of get caught up. In St stuff, and then for mayor, you know we try to work with families in. In just trying to do all sorts of stuff, we've got different programs. If you go to the circle of discipline, Dot Org shows all our program gossip bunch of pictures and stuff that we do. And if you don't know Jamal as an advocate for for civil I mean you've been doing your thing, the stance that you've taken and using your platform you know I've seen you. It hasn't gone unnoticed and we need that for athletes from the from our fighters it at the top level, but but just people with the platform. So definitely admire you for that for sure. Thank, you feel like you're with the history of boxing, you know what I mean. How how far you look back or going to the future like you know everybody respects fighter not I mean they respect you're gonna they don't even watch boxing. by all capable won't you know so if you have. Right. Now if you're big name fighter where you know you got that type of platform. It's just my personal opinion. I'm not putting out on these other dues. Another got their own lives families stuff they got to deal with. But it's just my personal opinion. that. You should use that to try to make some type of positive change at try to you. Now stand on on what you feel strongly about you know. So going back to the beginning. I'm like Mario you know. Super taken back and impressed by last performance because we've been following you so long. I feel like I've seen the evolution and I want to say for me as a fan of felt like a bit of a roller coaster sometimes, you know there were fights that I thought you were going to do better than you did, and then you kind of were like the welterweight Paul Williams where you didn't use your height and reach. But that came all I. Think I. Think you. You found yourself. So to speak if that doesn't make any like that doesn't disrespect you in any way hopefully, don't take offence. This was a complete performance you give up your height, you use your reach, you were the ring, General? and. That's not a question. I'm just talking here I mean you got so many names on this resume right? You don't have those. Let's say. Top of the top but so many common opponents you know that. I'm I'm just really impressed and excited to see what's coming next from you. Guys Joe Dan Common opponent with Kell Brook, older guys you know Mario already mentioned common opponent where Shawn Porter. You. Then you got April Rahm ABC. News fighting NUGAS. Not only that, but you the Dominican who's fighting boots ennis so like you are this guy. Been in there with everyone and can tell us what exactly is going on with everyone and I mean I don't know man you're you're right on the cuss men. What would you like? This is Michael What would you like your next three to be politics aside you know you. I guess being the big fish like earl likes to call themselves if you could that big fish would be Jamal James. Three opponents. again. Or definitely pack out again, any one of those big name dues a lot as long as a business businesses right? You Got Earl right there you got pack yell up in there. You got a nanny on our early Dan again defied and stuff we got Dan who still a big name. you know diarmid still in there a note, some habit I heard with this stuff but these still big name in the box and thank. Sean Shampoo importers. You know gases in near any one of these guys you know what I mean as long as the businesses right out terence's up a narrow anyone as. Long as we know is cool. My management says is cool. We can make that business happen. Unless get it baby. Let's get an animated. Nobody I trying to be doing this, but the next ten years I'm trying to get it in could fit it. Or? This Which? Go ahead so A name is more important than titles. You're not going to sit back idle waiting for a title shot you would take a key for Sean Indian Title definitely will be better. You know. as the tidal you know solidifies that okay. This is the cat right I mean he the no, he got the belly of. thermal pack yet you know what I mean. So back, cows at dude you know he got the Bell in automation are are one belt on. So. You Know I. It will be definitely somebody with a title but again, you know ended the day like I said before sore term live career so. I feel like you can make good money fight fighting one of those big named dues automated what I mean. So even if you ain't got the title you a big name and it's a fight that the the Fast WanNa see people, WanNa see. And I'm down four you may say. I'm sorry. No my bad is just that he. He mentioned Crawford and fight fans seem to think like know PBC fighters gonNA fight Crawford or or. Inherited, they're scared or. Money doesn't make sense or they're not allowed allowed. Our won't let them the out doesn't see the business and sacrifice in one of his welterweight to top ranking ESPN. So since you mentioned him, how realistic do you think that is for you to cross the street and fight the WB L. Champion and Terence Crawford with the narrative that you're the guy who did it like that's what the first guy from pc the does it gets that kind of chip on their shoulder you know what I mean. Yeah. I mean. Again. I don't know how realistic it will be one say that you know. It couldn't happen. But. Again is business and his politics business just like your no been followed mark a a long long time. And We got most of the bigger names over here under the PBC umbrella on unfortunately are not unfortunately fortunately. and. So when you get to high level like this, where you fight for, you know big ships it's like when you take a fight, the risk gotTa be worth the reward pretty much. That's how you know mostly cast looking at it like none of these news hard question to me. You know when you get to this level like got heart to fight were you know what I'm saying you train nonstop? He ain't scared nobody. But as. You try to support your family you trying to put on people in your city and you're trying to eat now give what you can before you bow out if you're smart fighter because you have to buy out pretty soon again, he can't be keep doing this you know so. It just is one of those things you know what I mean and say I'm cutting you off and I'm getting I'm not technically getting in your pockets I just want your opinion you you keep saying if it makes sense if it makes sense. Top Saint Kelly Brook, a one point, five, million dollar offer. He doesn't have a bell he's not an interim. He hasn't even fought at welterweight in three years unlike yourself. Is that a decent offer fight the waterway WBAL.

"They absolutely hate about the Celtics and I think that's the overwhelming sentiment autumn and. That's why I don't think much of a shot is his religion. No no question will answer it when we come back her smart back in Chicago. Thanks very much for joining us We have our guest seemed sort of Well a libertarian and an a liberal on one side we have mark Castillo from saint. Kelly met College of Saint Joe. And also we have eric owners talk show host for. Winz is one of our libertarians this evening and representing the other side of libertarianism. We have Bruno. Barone is with us and of course attorney. Judy Judy Sherwin. Who is a big trump supporter? And you not so much I'm I'm not a trump supporter. I've always been a trump skeptic but I'm looking at the alternatives at this point and I I don't have the vote for Donald Trump living in Illinois but if I lived in a swing state I'd be thinking about it all right. Well we'll be discussing at each. And every Sunday night between now and November and endorsements are flying out left and right. And you want to talk about an endorsement of Joe Rogan for this for those people who may not know who Joe. Rogan is and sort of the powerful position he holds in media these days. Give us the background Joe. Rogan is a comedian and he hosts probably the most popular podcast and all of America. It's hugely successful It could get people to listen to an interview. That is sometimes three hours or more long. He made a statement that I thought the endorsement itself was kind of interesting. Because he's totally Joe Rogan Way. If you listen to them it's like you know. I think I might vote for Bernie Sanders and of course Bernie Sanders campaign being smart campaign latched onto this and amplified it. But what's fascinating to me is two parts of it one. I think Joe Rogan's reasoning for. Why he endorsed Bernie is to me not great he basically said. I like Bernie. Because you know he's believed the same thing over time consistency isn't much overrated virtue. I think Bernie Sanders. Ideas are bad and we should have a conversation. I about whether or not the views heald's consistently are good or bad ideas and then kind of reward people for having consistency in them after that conversation but the more interesting thing is the reaction from the left which has been some people of course cheerleading. That great this is a fantastic opportunity. Joe Rogan has a platform that reaches people we might otherwise not be able to talk to and this is fantastic and then the over woke left is fit to be tied about this because in their opinion Joe Rogan is a bit largely because he platforms people. Which is he has people on his podcast. Who has idea he disagree with us or they disagree with and he listens to them and he doesn't scream at them and he doesn't south down and it's this is something that they absolutely cannot stand and so this kind of great awakening moment that we are living through. There's a segment of that. That will not tolerate Joe. Rogan endures endorsing Bernie Sanders. Which I find fascinating marks come down on this issue. Yeah so I you know In defense of some of the woke people you know if the reports of the media reports I'm reading are true. Which is that in two thousand thirteen made some comments about seeing rise of the planet of the apes and that he felt like he was descending into Africa going into a largely African American theater. If he said that will that's decidedly racist. But the key thing here is when you're building a movement across race across class boundaries. Those six million Joe Rogan listeners would be a welcome addition to any campaign. How do you reach people unless you start talking with them? And how do you educate them? You know we can't shame people into silence in this country and I think a large part of the Progressive Movement understands that you've got to have conversations and dialogue but a large large part all and wants to completely remove those people from society and that is the reaction that I think we're seeing and this is my you know in the same way that I tend to think. That trumpism that exists now with and conservatism in the Republican Party is a toxic element. I think the woke ISM that exists on the left is a toxic element and can eat the left alive yesterday. This question if Bernie Sanders got elected. How much of what he promises would he be able to deliver if he has not brought along a congress that thinks like he does so much you know? I I was thinking about this because You Know Incremental Ism as a response to what president trump has done is not going to work but I think we'll be to swing the pendulum if Congress doesn't come along if you don't get that supermajority if you don't have a grassroots movement passionate people who can get out in the streets and put some pressure on you're gonNA end up with a bunch of executive orders that can be repealed by the next president and we'll be having a trump trump partout Bernie signing executive orders. We know we're going to repeal but I think you know to disagree a little bit with Eric about the consistency point. Bernie's you know motto is. It's not me it's US and the idea is that you know he's got an aspirational agenda but it's really a movement. He's looking You know it's it's not the you know the the Venezuelan Maduro first term. It's really more a question about okay. If a corporation makes a hundred billion dollars should any of that profit you know flow back to its workers a little bit more of it and I want to look ahead and ask a political question to you because you want you want Bernie Sanders in the White House. He's an elderly man. He's had a heart attack. People worry about his health. Same PEOPLE MAY BE CONCERNED ABOUT DONALD TRUMP. Sell my question to you is. How important is vice presidential running mate? And would you want a running mate that it's going to expire expand his base? And maybe bring in some more moderates or do you want a dyed in the wool liberal who will follow through on the policies of Bernie Sanders. Should the great the great reaper call? So I I'm open to a more moderate running mate But I do think Certainly it should be somebody who broadens that base a little bit As well and so yes. I'm open the feel that does that. You know I think in the current state of affairs. I don't see him running with a shower but I think a closure Bernie ticket would be interesting. Yeah You know that could create some dialogue. And you meet Bernie slow-burning Clovis Arctic. I think yeah I think Cova shower is perhaps everybody's vice presidential candidate I really do. I can see her with Biden. I could see her with Birdie. I don't think with Elizabeth Warren Warren. No not. But I don't know who warned would be I mean I wanted to get back to the endorsements of Warren. I think it's it's it's worth mentioning That's a New York Times and and what I think is one of the most bizarre comments of the of the last couple of years referred to her as a great storyteller. I couldn't believe it and then answering inveterate liar and yet they meant it as a compliment and then and then the Demon Register said did she's going to hold the truth higher than anything else and are these people living living in. This goes back to my comment on the rogan endorsement. I actually I was. I'm still a huge Jordan Peterson Fan. And that's where I I got introduced to actually listening to Joe Rogan for extended periods of time on his podcast. And the stuff that he did and I think it's interesting no one. There's probably no way to figure this out. But how much of Bernie's bump actually has to do with the rogan endorsement. Because if you look at the number of views and listens. He guess whether it's three hours or whether it's three minutes of his podcasts. He probably GETS MORE VIEWS THAN ABC. Maybe not ABC NBC and CBS but probably more views than MSNBC Fox and And cable CNN and maybe more than all of them when it comes to news. And I think this is what's happened and this is one of the reasons why I think so much of the media New York Times and the Cable News Fox included in. That are going so crazy. I think that they I don't know whether they feel it or whether they realize it. But I think they're losing strength by the minute. And you're getting Rogan. You're getting some of the PODCAST. Are Out there on Youtube and elsewhere that are literally killing them and they don't understand that they're dying yet and and I think that that's what starting to happen. They haven't for a long time. Which is how you get the New York Times? Endorsement of two people where they say you know. It's like well you know. There's this kind of like we should have a more moderate lane. And here's Amy Klobuchar but if you WANNA get nuts. Let's get nuts. Here's Elizabeth Warren for you. The idea that if you perceive yourself as having a role of trying to shape what people do as the opinion page of the New York Times and then saying here's one option or here's another one Choose shows that they they have no wins and they're finally understanding that they don't one other issue that may be emerging and that is The the gun rights battle that took place in Virginia this past week and but judith ear worried about sort of a return to the wild wild west here. I really am. I mean I think there's there's a couple of forces at play here in this country One of them we see her in Chicago. We're seeing in in In New York This idea of criminal justice reform and the main idea is that we shouldn't have bail for criminals. We shouldn't keep people locked up when they are arrested on the streets And so you have a situation like we had last week which I don't. I don't know how many people even know this happened. They had a mass shooting in Seattle by two hardened criminals running around the streets with guns who shot several people and between the two of them. They had sixty one arrests and they were all out. Because there's no such thing as bail in Seattle so this is this is terrible. I mean so what you have then is the reaction of some normal people. I never knew anybody who had a gun. I mean no one. I never knew a single soul who had who hunted or who who had guns in the house. I now have a number of friends who have gone out and bought a gun who've gone to courses where they learn how to shoot a gun where they learn how to do concealed carry which you can do in Illinois and people are really starting to worry that they cannot walk around on the streets unless they have a gun. This is a catastrophe for this country. I think mark well. You'll see that it's happening. That there's there's a growth in awareness on this brings us back to Michael Bloomberg. Because it's you know the color of your skin determines whether you can carry a gun Or Not Rally in Virginia Pie of them were black. So but here's the thing like in Chicago. I've had students who talk about the gang issues and they'll say you know I carried a gun with me because the other guy's carried a gun. This is the good good guy with a gun argument but that's student if he gets picked up With that gun. He's he's trying to defend himself he'll end up in jail for that firearm Maybe maybe maybe not lawfully if he has it.

moderates or do you wanna died in the wool liberal who will follow through on the policies postseason bernie sanders should the great the great reaper call so i i'm open to a more moderate running mate but i i i do think certainly it should be somebody who broadens that base a little bit as well and so yes i'm open the feel that does that you know i think in the current state of affairs i don't see him running with a shower but i think a closure bernie ticket would be interesting thing yeah you know that that could create some dialogue and bernie bernard clovis arctic i think yeah i i think clovis elvis shower is perhaps everybody's vice presidential candidate i really do i can see her with biden i could see her with birdie i don't think with elizabeth warren warren no not but i don't know who would be i mean i wanted to get back to the endorsements of warren i think is yeah it's worth mentioning that's a new york times and and what i think think is one of the most bizarre comments of the of the last couple of years referred to her as a great storyteller i couldn't believe it did anybody at this stage and then anything inveterate liar and yet that they meant it as a compliment and yeah and then the domain register said did she's going to hold the truth higher than anything else that these people living in the same i think they are in this goes back to my comment on the rogan -dorsements i actually i was here i am still a huge jordan peterson fan and that's where i i got introduced to actually listening into joe rogan for extended periods of time on his podcast and the stuff that he did and i think it's interesting no one there's probably no way to figure this out but how much of bernie's bump actually has to do with the rogan endorsement because if you look at the number of us and listens he guess whether it's three hours or whether it's three minutes of his podcasts he probably gets more views than ABC maybe not ABC NBC and CBS but probably more views than MSNBC fox and cable CNN and and maybe more than all of them when it comes to news and i think this is what's happened and this is one of the reasons why i think so much of the media new york times and the cable news fox included in that are going so crazy is i think that they i don't know whether they feel it or whether they realize it but i think they're losing strength by the minute and you're getting rogan ogan you're getting some of the podcasts that are out there on youtube and elsewhere that are literally killing them and they don't understand that they're dying yet and and i i think that that's what's starting to happen they happen for a long time which is how you get the new york times endorsement of two people where they say you know it's like well you know there's kind of like you know we should have more moderate lane and here's amy klobuchar but if you wanna get nuts let's get nuts here's elizabeth warren for you the idea that if you perceive yourself as having a role of trying to shape shape what people do as the opinion page of the new york times and then saying here's one option or here's another one choose shows they have no ended into finally understanding that they don't one other issue that may be emerging and that is the the gun rights battle that took place in virginia this past week and and but judith you're worried about sort of a return to the wild wild west i yeah i really am i mean i think there's there's a couple of forces at at play here in this country one of them we see her in chicago we're seeing in in in new york this idea of in criminal justice reform and the main idea is that we shouldn't have bail for criminals we shouldn't keep people locked stop when they are arrested on the streets and so you have a situation like we had last week which i don't i don't know how many people even know this happened they had a mass shooting in seattle by two hardened criminals running around the streets with guns who shot several people people and between the two of them they had sixty one arrests and they were all out because there's no such thing as bail in seattle so so this is this is terrible i mean so what you have then is the reaction of some normal people i never knew anybody who had a gun and i mean no one i never knew a single soul who had who hunted or who who had guns in the house i now have a number of friends who have gone out and bought a gun who've gone to courses where they learn how to shoot a gun where they learn how to do concealed carry what you can do in illinois and people are released starting to worry that they cannot walk around on the streets unless they have a gun this is a catastrophe for this country i think mark well you'll read that it's happening that there's there's a growth in gun awareness on this brings us back to michael bloomberg because it's you know the color all of your skin determines whether you can carry a gun or not the rally in virginia pie of them were black so but here's the thing like in chicago you know i've i've had students who talk about the gang issues and they'll say you know i carried a gun with me because the other guy's carried a gun this is the good good guy with a gun argument but that that student if he gets picked up with that gun he's he's trying to defend himself he'll end up in jail for that firearm maybe maybe not maybe not lawfully if if he has it.

"I mean, look at simple. And so you've got this player. Who's really probably a top five talent. Another top five talent Joey Bosa up front, like good linebackers, good interior line. Like they should be able to match up with the they should be able to match up with the chiefs. Who got I want to pick the chargers. I really do. If it wasn't L A. I'm. I just do it. Just pull the trigger on it. I want you charge. Leave yards leaders. I wanna pick him. I just the aero has its off place. You know, you know, one of the chargers players I'm working on a story that I'll come out this week. But he was saying that they like they like playing on the road, and that's probably because they're much of a home. I don't think it's necessarily the same dynamic of a team going on the road. Because like they kind of like percentage is probably the same as it was for the opener. Right. The percent of chiefs is probably the same as it was. Yeah. We'll I mean, you know, I agree that I I would say that of all the stadiums. I've been to I think I I'm still like five or six away from checking them off my bucket list. But Arrowhead was probably the best opposing fan atmosphere that I've ever see. Oh, yeah. In a in a road stadium. I thought that was an I think at that time it was like some punchless winless jets team that I was out there with you know, giants team. I can't remember. But this team is just incredible. I mean they've played on. On the road for fourteen weeks. Now, you know, and I think that. At that point at this point. I think things just don't matter. If you're clicking the way that they are. So yeah, I got the chargers Janney take the charter. We're all we're charged or charge. Charged charged up. Right. Katr news. I have number five. Sorry. I'm just reading about who are next United States chief of staff is going to be. So it was a little sidetracked here the Cowboys outlasted the eagles scoring and over time to open up a two game lead in the NFC east. Dallas can clinch the division title with the win or an eagles loss on Sunday. I've enjoyed these last few weeks all the chaos playoff scenarios for an if ceased fans, I've seen people manipulating the playoff machine to get the giants in as the succeed. I don't think that's necessary. I think the eagles to win the division. I stuck with that on this podcast two weeks ago double down on that. But the Cowboys aren't giving it up. I mean, they're playing incredible football right now. And I think that that's it's hard to bet against them and Cooper is different snowed-out. Right. Like, we all know that it's made a difference for Zeke. It's made a difference for Dak all of that. They're defense. Like and the way the young players like Jalen Smith's, one of the best stories the league late Vander? She's been awesome. As a rookie DeMarcus Lawrence looks like a premier pass rusher right now. They've had a lot of feels that. They've had a lot of young guys. Grow up at once. Like a lot of young guys. Come at once. Listen to this. Okay. The eagles. I seven possessions on Sunday. Seven plays thirty six yards. Three plays minus one yard three plays eight yards. Four plays twenty seven yards. Three plays one yard five plays nineteen yards. And then the sevens was one play two yards. That was a touchdown. But that's three quarters of just completely choking out. The Philadelphia Eagles the week after you did something similar to the New Orleans. Saints Kelly's got a little bump from the zebras though on that one too that Dallas guttered offense interference. Yeah. Grieg that's outside that that is outside. Outside of the seven possession..
