I hadn't heard from her in days when she called me over to see what she was laughing at their own front porch was a squirrel carrying and tiger an entire Bagel in. His mouth was disappointed that the other people didn't show up the BAGELS that elected to befriend the local wildlife bagels. This would appear to be a plane Bagel no schmear no locks a bet you could have made friends with a flying squirrel. She'd had a Bagel Sandwich or to to share. Thanks for the last in difficult times. "Website AT III dot org and this is John in Saint cloud Minnesota hello John all right ma'am yeah I've got an unexpected consequence of the restaurant down okay the long food hauling truckers are unable on mayor when they're on the road to find places to eat to get concrete go to the bathroom and to refuel their trucks because of the shutdown hi this is Brian depend right we quickly find all work around for them well we obviously we have to have a workaround for this country depends on the truck side I cannot emphasize enough if there were no trucks in this country there isn't a major city in the country that wouldn't have people starving within a month without trucks so whatever we do in that regard rubbish it would seem that it has to include some kind of allowance for those people that maybe they can all carry sack lunches but then they've got to have those certainly fuel for their vehicles yeah and interrupt you know hopefully I know a lot of restaurants are doing this sort of take out or delivery model and you know whether they can sustain themselves that way this is an open question I mean you know one thing that I think you have to be face clearly if this cannot go on this is not sustainable for an extended period of time yeah I'd not saying that this isn't the right thing to do right now and that we shouldn't you know do it as long as we reasonably can but we can't I think shut down our economy you know because sometimes you hear people say well this could last you know five six months eighteen months or something and that's just I think well it's just not not not something our society can do it wouldn't happen I mean the yeah that's right when we went down with consequences far worse than than what we're talking about now so as we go back to some more culture let me just simply follow up with that we've heard in recent days the president talk about six to eight weeks which would put us somewhere in may but now he's been saying things like well could go to July or August and of course July and August are when the national political conventions are held of these of course were gathered big time gatherings well a whole lot of people thousands of people in an arena and this sort of thing and so and a lot of older people and a lot of older people yes the people get involved in politics tend to be older people including by the way some of the nominees at this juncture it would appear that both presidential nominees are going to be well into their seventies so let me ask you from from an economic point of view alone are given what we're talking about here shutting down as much of the economy as we're talking about how far could we go can we make it to August or September or the end of the year where in your view would be the breaking point where we simply say Hey enough we we simply cannot keep doing this everybody's got to be really careful and don't sneeze on anybody whole lot of handi wipes and and cleaning off table tops but we can't shut things down any longer how long is that well I think that depends on how successful this period is in flattening the curve we've all seen I think that the that graph what's the what we are trying to do to get the caseloads to the point that it does not overwhelm our medical system and the more effectively we have been you know washing our hands and and social distancing of the more we've been doing that and then it may be possible to relax that regime more quickly if we're you know we're not or if this is not successful then I think that we've got a longer term problem we may have a longer term problem but again back to the original question how long can we keep it up regardless of the outcome I mean even if this disease is spreading like wildfire right there comes a point where we simply say look everybody's got to be careful but we can have a major sectors of the country starving to death while they wait to get the coronavirus there has to be a cut off point and I'm just curious and I know you can't give a an exact amount but we could we make it as long as September or October the other thing is you know if you're not a real proliferation of testing the way we are hoping to see then you can ship strategies toward you know we figured out who actually has it and who doesn't and the people who don't have it can be a little more free and you can have a strategy that is more based on on isolating the people who are really at risk but but he you know I mean you're you're right to suggest the disks you know there's sort of no scenario where we can just keep doing this but I think exactly how it played out is going to depend on things like how quickly we get testing out and how much we flatten the curve the stock to Sheridan crane Missouri hello Sharon hello Jeremy and hello tear gassed one of the things that this is done it has thrown every research labs in the country into the heart for something to break the back of this virus and there's not one community like American ingenuity and I'm a firm believer that I think that possibly the country could last maybe six months at the outset six months no longer and then you're going to be good if people are going to say look I'm not gonna sit home and for the rest of my life I've got to get out there and make a living that's what Americans do now given you stole a little bit of my thunder when you start talking about that constitutional convention you know that I'm all for that another thing that I think once this gets straightened out in order I would go at it hammer and and count we need to get as free from China as we can possibly get that means you bring every single bit of I am a suitable back to this country and you put pressure on the pharmaceutical company because it the government is doing a lot of good for a lot of people in a short here but we can't do this forever the internet is sitting over there and they're looking at it and I want tax model wiped off there yeah they are a and international malignancy the only difference really between now and about say two was that this is not a kinder gentler to China this is a sleeker smoother China they have broken virtually every international agreement they ever agreed to in the post Mao era I I have people talk about about terrorists or quotas against the Chinese and frankly rubbish I I'd be happy to talk about a complete embargo we just don't need to deal with people as a malignant as the Chinese are in this may be very anything good comes out of this it may drive home what I think what Sharon just said that you know so what if we have to pay more for a broom I don't care either they totally reform the way they do things or let them starve to death it matters not to me your thoughts well I do think that it particularly when you're thinking of some critical industries and needs of our country whether it's with pharmaceuticals or rare earth that that we have not been careful about our sort of strategic resources and that sort of the logic of free trade which I actually generally do agree with just can't real file free trade yes they open up their markets at the same time we open up hours not one way yeah if if we had a real free trade I'm with you now how we go about that I think is a really tricky question right I mean yeah we do have these integrated supply sign supply lines we do have the potential of not just having people pay more but also throwing people out of work which we don't want to do so we got a we have to be acting careful and strategic about it but I do think that you're absolutely right your callers share and absolutely right that people are going to be looking at this a little bit more carefully because you know we talked about the trade issues and the way this administration's approach in particular a lot and we haven't really been talking about the specific problems with say pharmaceuticals more to come will be back in a moment this is the story of Julie ko.

"Six five oh five four six two six John in Saint cloud Minnesota next up good evening John yeah glad to hear you're implying petals tonight I think the democratic you know is becoming very right now I have one thing to say about the federal bureau of investigation it revealed it fondling bomb blowing in comp years ago during the Atlanta Olympics bombing when they tried to quit and the security guard Richard Jewell who spotted the bomb and yelled the warning they are meeting IBM be spotted the bomb they tried to trick him into signing a away here's a right and when it turning and others thank very low correct back to me reveal there have become nothing but while as a matter of fact it started back in the Hoover years when we started okay the folks couldn't afford to a because a lot of money for not turning up properly and investigate at to plead guilty as well I would would know that the FBI sort of didn't handle the Richard Jewell case well to suggest that the entire FBI is clowns is simply not true they remain overall one of the greatest crime fighting organizations in the world and this FBI bears little resemblance to the FBI under J. Edgar Hoover having said that we obviously have serious problem with oversight and with people injecting political bias into their day to day action so that's as far down that road as as I would go one eight six six five oh Jimbo one eight six six five oh five four six two six this is Dave in Fort Bragg North Carolina good evening Dave good evening Jim thanks for taking my call again you know it's funny I just got off with your producer talking to when I heard you say exactly what I just told her this is a very fragile election it is the everybody's running around you know and it's gonna be a landslide look what they're doing they're driving in or what no not at all in the thing that I was trying to impress upon hers the impeachment is not about impeachment they're sending a message they didn't want an outsider to run for political office and he did not only did but he got the job so one he's gotta stop fussing about they're picking on me they're picking on me yeah they are they're going to so stop but the other thing is they're trying to send us a message Hey if we can do this to him we can do it all again she got up there one day and made the statement we are in charge now that's your thought that's where they want to go with this they don't they don't care how they go about doing this what they care about is the fact that they're in charge in your your guest in the first hour was talking about voter fraud but it's still going on and especially in Texas the other day they released a report from one county in Texas where they had confirmed over fifteen hundred illegal aliens in low one channel she had voted illegally this is huge and I'll guarantee you that that's what they're doing stuff like that they're driving and if you number one they came up with the voter fraud back in twenty ten Obama came out and said there's no proof of any significant number of fraudulent voters will the number you know any any is a significant number one is a significant number what and I remember when you and I were talking before this last mid term we're talking impeachment and it was kind of a you know Nancy was saying well I don't think okay and I said you know it ain't tomorrow yet and and were there but I don't think the impeachment is about impeachment I think what they're doing is they're they're not only their confusion and distracting trump and they're trying to distract an entire nation from them preparing for however they're gonna miss handle this next election and it'll be somebody else's fault but they know that they can't win an honorable election so they're gonna win it however they can't or they're going to go about trying to win it however they can and that's what this is all about they're trying to send a message to the people well we're certainly afraid that they can't win on the selection unfortunately enough people out there I think are a private if you will especially young people who had socialism drilled into their brains for a couple of generations of we've advocated control of our educational system they they are going to act as though they they can't win a legitimate election by fears of they might win illegitimately election.

What are you? What are you got to say about that team there? That's just dirty. Greasy filthy greasy haired Punk <hes> who wants to scare a father <hes> away from his duties as the you know the rat representative and the guardian of a young girl so win the father even though you were put in jail L. I understand you had unlawful sexual contact with a minor female. Wasn't your daughter correct. No it was not no. It was not that so they don't want you have any contact with your daughter Jimmy Lau. There's a kid some some punk I can't. I can't tell you what I think about these punks and that puck gets to go up your daughter. Go <music>. Let's go I have sex and shoot heroin and take <hes> what they call Ex. Which of course is the ecstasy very familiar with it? Yes all all right and let's do that because your father is. <hes> your father has no rights to you and I do. I tell you I've I've <hes> <music> <hes> lunch. I've gone up to young men and I said what are you doing with her and they'll say to me what businesses have years going. They'll try to do the devil growl and I'll say hey dr hy out. I drive he out. Get Away. Get away this. Do you think I'm possessed. I said No. I don't think you're possessed at all but I am. I'm laying <hes> Oh you don't give them the evil eye trying to put a little Mojo on them right. That's exactly right something. We learned his young people. Just ooh and they'll come back at me and go ahead and do that ground thing. I'd say you know what you don't even scare me. You dirty miserable punk. I'll put it back in the same place and have one but my neighbors did when I babysat and they went back like they came out of that he kept them Re v and Ronnie just the Babysit Reading Ronnie and their dad had that playboy and it was under the sink in the bathroom cabinet of like the spare bathroom bathroom in the back and I would open that thing and I would take that thing out use he use tweezers to turn the page this. You're gonNA have one hour. Yes yes right armed guard at the front door. I'm sitting a little cubicle. He would watch me. Replace it back in the box. No one cares anymore. Tony's got <hes> quick question. Tony Yeah going on not much like comment about your previous little story. You know I believe firmly in carrying cash on you being that I'm twenty three in the I._R._S. is after me. Heavily that I said so basically can't get bank town but other than that I do have a question for you. <hes> hold on you can't can't get a blank of a bank account. This is Tony Montana <hes> okay well. I can get a bank account but it's like I already know the I._R._S.. After me for only about four hundred fifty dollars but if I opened up a veins on my man you know you've got six fifty dollars down and I just know they're going to liquidate as soon as I put it in all right trouble. What's your question? My question is I'm turning twenty four on Monday so I can't and the I've worked as a bouncer at a nightclub and Goodall Saint Cloud Minnesota and I worked weekends. You know that's the busiest time of the week and my girlfriend keeps getting thing that she has something planned for me on Saturday night so I was just wondering how old is too old to like actually like give yourself to a birthday party or something like that. I know it's not necessarily for me to feel good. It's more for like people that care about me to feel good but like I really need to make some talking money. You know what I mean also I. I don't have money. I don't know that you should ever give yourself a birthday party. I feel like your parents do it when you're young and then as you transition your friends girlfriends friends bounce or whatever I don't know. I don't think it's ever okay to throw yourself a party. Well not okay but I'm not a fan of throwing yourself so I don't know that there's ever one but then is there a cutoff. I'm GonNa meet you halfway because for many years here's in my twenties. I had a softball birthday party but it was excused again my friends together drink beer and play softball. We've had that I agree Tony. You're in that transitional period where you shouldn't be celebrating yourself but to get your friends together and how Dire Damn candle the softball game gender thing. It's not like here's the catch here's attached to pay. I'm a recovering heroin addict right and I haven't actually enjoy a birthday. They probably eight years of my life and I do not the love of my wife's overdue right and she decides that I deserve actually enjoy birthday not like Dave like just melds into every day in the week.
