"And he was like, we couldn't, we couldn't get good shots when we did get good shots. We messed up and we couldn't guard anybody. It's basically everything they did was perfect everything we did was really, really bad. You mentioned D.C. was one in three. In its previous four games, that's now two and three in its previous 5, with wins over Kansas state and Kansas. So it's an interesting little 5 game stretch for the horned frogs that tells you just how difficult it is. Living life in the big 12, like a good big 12 team can lose to bottom tier big 12 team or beat the best. That's the way it is in that league. You're going to see it throughout the rest of January, February into early March. Horn frogs are now 15 and four overall. Four and three in the big 12, 5 and three in quadrant one, two and zero and quadrant two. So 7 and three in the first two quadrants with a quad four walls to northwestern state also on the resume. We've talked about that before. Very early in the season, two of the top three players weren't playing. That's the explanation for that result. If not for that, I think TC would be a consensus top ten team come Monday. And might crack the top ten on Monday either way. But right now, I've got TCU at 12th in the top 25 and one. They are one of 6 big 12 teams that I have in the top 16 of the top 25 and one right now. Kansas state at number four, followed by number 6 Texas, number 8 Kansas number 11 Iowa state. Number 12 TCU and number 16 Baylor. As for Kansas, you know, this is the first time a Kansas has lost back to back big 12 games with one of the losses coming at home since February 2013. So that's notable. But as I wrote Saturday night, Kansas is still 16 and three with 7 quadrant one wins and zero losses outside of quadrant one. Only Purdue also has 7 quadrant one wins. Nobody has more. And Kansas is still third and BPI or KPI rather, 7th and sagarin, 8th in the net, 9th at Ken pom. In the top ten of most computers, beyond that, still got a resume that would get a top two seed in the NCA tournament. If we were doing that today. So I did drop the jayhawks once again in the top 25 and one, but only down to number 8. What happens Saturday it was shocking and bad, but this is still a team that's got the best coaching college basketball and Bill self, a likely first team all American and Jalen Wilson, a possible NBA draft lottery pick in Grady dick. And a championship level point guard in dewan Harris. According to all the metrics, this is steel, one of the best teams in the country. And so yeah, it was a bad week for the jayhawks. First losing at Kansas state and then getting smashed it on by TCU. But it's still a good team. One I continue to believe can theoretically win the 2020 three NCAA tournament. Quick turnaround for them. Kansas is at Baylor on Monday night. So that's the 2021 national champs against the 2000 22 national champs. Kim pom's got a projected Baylor 76. Kansas 74. And if Kansas loses, it'll be just a second, losing streak for the jayhawks in a ten year span, trivia, MF and time. When was KU's last three game losing streak? So one of my younger brothers went out, he was driving cross country and he had the way that it all landed. He was driving through Kansas when Texas tech was at the fog, this was I want to say early January of 18 and tech won the game. So he was in the building for a rare self home loss. So I'm gonna say, I think it was 18. It was definitely early January. That is my so that is my guess. I think it was 1718. It might have been 1819, but anyway, that is my guess is that it was in that span. Am I right? Am I wrong in my dead wrong? You are wrong. You are right in the sense that there is a game that Texas tech played at Kansas in the 2018 season. In January and Texas tech won that game, 85, 73. But Kansas had won its four games prior to that, and after losing to Texas tech, went on a 5 game winning streak. So that was just one surprising loss in an otherwise nice stretch. The actual answer, I thought you might get it because you referenced this the 2021 season earlier. It was January 2021. Three straight losses at Oklahoma state at Baylor at Oklahoma. So they were all road losses, but that is the last three game losing streak and the only three game losing streak Kansas has experienced in the past 9 seasons. That's the season, by the way, Kansas finished 5 games back of Baylor in the lost column of the big toe standings. But it should be noted Baylor played four fewer league games that season. Baylor was 13 and one in the big 12 because it lost four games to COVID. Kansas was 12 and 6 in the league. Baylor went on to win the national title that season Kansas went on to do you remember this? Lose to USC by 34 points. I didn't know if you were going to mention it, but I do remember because I'm pretty sure my bracket picked USC to do that exact thing. I had the Trojans advancing in Kansas actually ending its tournament run there. But yeah, so KU fins know this. If you lose Monday night, you will be on only the second three game losing streak of a ten year span. And the last time you had a three game losing streak, you lost by 34 points in the second round of the NCA tournament. I'm not predicting anything like that again. I'm still high on Kansas. Got them 8th in the top 25 to one, but there's the history for you. All right, before I move on a couple of things. First of all, must give credit to just a legendary broadcaster. Here we go.

"Scary parish. Welcome back to the CBS sports I own college basketball podcast where we sometimes discuss camouflaging dodo birds and leaky black men in Orlando is here with if you're watching on YouTube, please smash the like button like your Brandon Davis, you have consent and if you haven't yet subscribed to the YouTube channel, please go ahead and knock that out while you're here. Let's get into it. I want to start the day with UCLA, which improved a 15 and two late Thursday with a 68 49 win over Utah. Now in and of itself, that's not really notable. Utah hasn't been the same since left the program for a second time. But it is worth noting that UCLA is now 6 and O in the PAC 12 have to be a pick to win the PAC 12, making the bruins the only power conference team that's living up to expectations after being picked in the preseason to win its league. We noted this earlier in the week. Baylor was picked to win the big 12, but it's just one in three in the big 12. Indiana was picked to win the Big Ten, but it's just one in four in the Big Ten. Crate and pick to win the big east, just three and three in the big east, Kentucky, picked to win the SEC. One in three in the SEC, fans want the coach fired. North Carolina was picked to win the ACC just three and three in the ACC. A lot of disappointing teams out there, but not UCLA. The bruins were picked to win the pack 12 and are now 15 and two overall, 6 and zero in the pack 12, alone atop the league standings and on a 12 game winning streak, which is the third longest in the country and top some power conference schools, dead leg. I couldn't help but notice, you got UCLA second, your weekly power rankings, tell folks why you're so high on Mick cronin's bruins. Besides the obvious reason, Mick Ron is the coach. That we start, we always start with Corona being the coach there. UCLA is also one 12 in a row. It's the third longest streak in the country, hasn't lost since November 20th. So power rankings, I do tend to reward significant winning streaks and UCLA hasn't lost. It's not going to get dropped. And as a function of some other teams losing sense, it's just continued to rise and rise. So yeah. But it's not just my power rankings. If you really look across the board here, UCLA is number three. In Ken palm, three at sagarin, three in BPI. It's 7 in the net right now. It's between 6 and ten overall in traditional or at least results based metrics. It's also third at torvik. So why the hell not? Let's start with let's start with the bruins here real quick off the top just to at least at least highlight them. They've got a nondescript game at home this Saturday. It's the Fox prime time game 8 o'clock. I think against Colorado, it won't be news if they win. And we'll talk about the bruins again next weekend because they actually play at Arizona next Saturday so that arguably could be the game of the weekend there. But at least shine a light on the fact that the bruins have been able to, I think cronin has been able to elevate the program here to top ten levels since making the surprise run to the final four when he did so going from first four to final four. He got there in 1920. There was no tournament then. You say, like, what's pacing to being a tournament team was really a bubble team overall. Then squeaks in makes the final four. There was the UNC like buzz before there was UNC buzz about. They made the final four should there be a top 5 team. I remember selling that notion, but buying UCLA being, you know, top ten level ish. They wound up finishing 11th at kenpom last season and making the sweet 16 lo and behold losing back. I am back. All right, you got me back. I don't know what to tell you. I got dropped out there. I don't know when you lost me, but I'm back. Can you hear me, GP? I can hear you now. I was just sitting here posing. I continue what I was saying. I'll just stroll through this real quick. Yeah, Wi-Fi completely dropped there, but we are we are back. What do you want from me? Cronin has been able to take last year, good year. I actually don't think they even I don't think that UCLA failed to completely meet expectations. I actually thought the expectation should have been them to be a top ten team. And now it's been a top 5 team, only losses, both respectable, Illinois and Baylor, no Illinois and Baylor aren't necessarily top 15 teams, but those are our neutral courts. And they were competitive games there. And now, yeah, UCLA to me is not just a second in my power rankings, but if I had to even remove that and build out a tournament resume, like they're clearly a two seat at worst and there's a strong case that they're a top 5 team in the country. They rate the top 5 in defensive efficiency. And even like a dean, Amari Bailey, you can go off on all that if you want jokes all aside. A dean bona has been the freshman that has really come on strong as of late and his play. I mean, he had 15 against Utah, 18 against Washington recently, recent PAC 12 freshman of the week. He has been quality on top of the fact that Hawkeye is a top ten player top 15 player in the country, Tiger Campbell. I wouldn't take 5 point guards over him personally. Jalen Clark is a wonderful two way player. So when I talk to cronin about this when I saw him at the CBS sports classic, when they had no issues with Kentucky, and I think I mentioned this on the pod, he just mentioned the fact that it's the fact that Hawkeye's Campbell and Clark, they're like practically best of Friends off the floor and then the locker room itself. He says I have no issues. David singleton's been there forever. So they, because they haven't had a lot of high profile games, they've been a little bit off the radar, but wake up America. Best coach in UCLA history has this team rolling and potentially headed toward a one seed in a couple of months. The problem when you drop is that I don't know if it's you or if it's me because I'm still having Internet problems. Cease fire is gonna be at my house today at 2 o'clock to try to resolve my issues. So I got spectrum now. We got issues here.

"Sports. Nothing is off the table, for us to handicap. From the basketball court to the racetrack, golf to darts. We will find the edge and bring it all to you. We're live on YouTube every single morning at 10 a.m. eastern, 7 a.m. Pacific. We're in your audio feed shortly after on Apple podcasts and Spotify. Never make a wager without first listening to the early edge. It's Jerry Paul. There I am. Okay. She kind of appeared like out of a horror movie the way you just chopped right in and it's like, oh, he's right there. So I have that effect on people. Hey, before we officially at home, before we get to the bubble stuff, is that like a new screen coming out? You mean, where I am? Oh, do we have a do we have a new screen movie coming out? I thought you said screen. No, I don't know. I didn't see, I saw the first one and figured the others weren't going to be worth it. So I think that's probably a safe assessment. Are they up to the Friday the 13th number yet? I don't know what's happening. I have no idea. I don't know what's going on with screen. I'm going to look all that up on my flight today. Jerry Paul. Okay, first things first. Which fan base do you hate the most right now? Here we go. Which one do I hate the most? Right now. Because they're driving equal opportunity hater. I hate all of them. Which one is driving you the most crazy right now? Every time you update your bracket, they're in your mentions and they make you go, God, I hate this thing. North Carolina. No, I don't hate. I don't hate the team, and I don't even hate the fans. But they're the ones after me the most. Still, North Carolina, even after they beat duke, it's still, yeah, they're not happy. A little bit too still, but North Carolina's leading at the moment. It varies from day to day, week to week. What's their gripe? They think they think they have 6 quadrant one wins instead of just two? Yeah, I think there's a little bit of where a blue blood and well, you know, and in their defense, if you have the kind of season that they've had in the ACC with the record that they have in the league especially, you're way up the bracket. So it's kind of a shock to the whole league system that you've got one good team and that everybody else is at best mediocre. And you know, so they're not used to we're the second place team in the ACC or we're the third place team in the ACC. How can we not be way up in the bracket? Well, because it's duke in the 14 dwarfs. I mean, it's just a math. I can't even think of a league a major conference where the gap between number one and everyone else has ever been this big. I mean, like the PAC 12 has got a similar gap but it's three teams to the rest of the league. This is just one. One team to the whole rest of the league and it actually hurts duke because I don't think duke could be a number one seed because how do they resume build in their own league? They can't. You know, they beat Gonzaga and that's great, of course, and they beat Kentucky outside the league, but who are they beating in the league? Nobody, but they've taken, you know, three, so, so to a bad losses, or actually, yeah, three. So what do you do? Or it's four, actually. So how do they resume build? I'll just duke resume build. So I don't know, I don't think duke can be a one, even though they could win the national championship. I mean, they're good enough to do that. But it's just been, I don't know. Everybody I've ever talked to about this, this this year, no matter how old they are, says this is the worst ACC they've ever seen. When you agree? I mean, it's just as uninspiring as it's ever been in my opinion. For sure. All right, let me ask you, the only thing I heard there is North Carolina is a dwarf. I mean this year. This year. All right, let's get that into a full quote. Two things. Okay. Since Ron HCC real quick on this. Rapid fire rapid fire. Notre-Dame in no matter what, yes or no. Yeah, I did Notre-Dame's in. North Carolina and no matter what yes or no. I would say it would behoove North Carolina not to take a bad loss, but they might get in any way even if they do. I think Miami, and no matter what, yes or no. Interesting. I think Miami wake forest. It's definitely an elimination game for wake forest if it happens. It might be an elimination game for Miami as well. But yeah, those two are definitely skirting trouble. Wake forest just needs to beat somebody. You know, they've got a couple of decent home wins, but, you know, they need to show that they can play away from home. Wake forest has an absolute must win against Boston college. On Wednesday, if you're watching live on YouTube, continue to comment like smash the whole deal. We got palm here. And then since we're talking bubble ACC, Virginia tech need to make the ACC tournament game at minimum championship game, excuse me, at minimum to get in that combo. I'm not even thinking about Virginia tech. I don't have them on my bubble. They just went, you just went Don Draper on the hokeys. I don't even think about you. On a recent podcast, I said, I don't understand why some people have them as close to the bubbles. Because of their net ranking, Gary. People look at the net and they just, they take that as gospel and it's not, you know? If you're looking at the heavily, the rankings that are heavily influenced by margin of victory, like Ken pom and sagarin and the net, and that's all you're going on when you've the committees, the results based process. Margin of victory doesn't really mean that much to them. So if you're basing everything on those rankings, you're going to probably be disappointed because when the committee is looking at a resume and then they're looking at these metrics and the metrics don't match the resume, they don't question the resume. They question the metrics. Why are these different? What are we missing here? Well, the answer is almost always margin of victory because, you know, the resume isn't really showing you. I mean, they'll show you the score, but they don't really care that much about margin of victory. They just want to see who you beat. And who beat you. But the metrics are especially those three. And I guess BPI as well are really heavily influenced by margin of victory or they'll call it net efficiency, which is margin of victory measured by points per possession instead of points per game. Well, this is why I heard you make this point on CBS sports headquarters. Houston might end up with a seed lower than its net ranking. They might have a higher next to their higher number next to their name in the bracket than they do in the net. And they're the number 5 team in the net as of this morning, I believe it's still number 5, but their best win and their only win over a team that might make the bracket is the home win over SMU. They've had a quad one win. I think Oklahoma state is probably still quad one. Neutral, I think that was neutral. No, that was that Oklahoma state. So that's a quad one win, but Oklahoma state's not a tournament team, even if they were eligible. They would not be a tournament team. And then they beat Oregon. And they've got a bunch of quad two wins and they have nothing even remotely resembling a bad loss, which is why there's still a top half of the bracket team. But there's nothing on Houston's resume that says this is one of the 5 best teams in the country, but the margin of victory metrics in particular love them. All right, let's go. Let's go big picture here. I want to, I want to ask you if you could see this situation playing out because we went on H two together on Tuesday night. Lovely, lovely appearance. Gosh, that you just emanating energy in that studio, Jerry. Emanating it. Okay. You said Gonzaga, pretty much going to be the number one overall..

"Tom crean, won the outright Big Ten title on 15 and three league record, I don't know what seed they got. You had to look that up. I thought it was, is that the one scene that got dropped in the sweet 16 accused? You keep talking. I'm gonna check it. They definitely lost earlier than their seed projected them to lose. But they went 15 and three in the Big Ten in Tom green got fired the next year and Indian has never had a winning record in the Big Ten cents. That was the team that now that one was 2012, 13, 15, 16 was the team that got dropped by Carolina in the sweet 16 Indiana was a 5 seat that year. It was a 5 C with a 15 and three Lee record. That's right. Your latest reminder, and I know Paris knows this, but this is for that is completely irrelevant. Completely irrelevant entirely. By the way, speaking of record, Michigan overall right now as we head in, Michigan is 17 and 13. And the losses have to count. Sometimes we forget about that. The losses have to count. If Michigan loses to Indiana, it's going to be 17 and 14. Three games above 500 at a loss volume will come into play there. So that's going to be that's going to be also what matters. For those listening on the podcast, you're not going to know. But if you watched on YouTube, Paris accidentally xed out of the stream, but he's right back here. Before we move on elsewhere, I brought this up because we talk about it every year. Don't want to harp on too much. We'll probably talk about it later in the week on the regular shows. If Michigan loses, it's going to be 17 and 14. And I think you and I are on the same page because we've talked about this before. Your lost volume has to matter. And a 17 and 14 seldom is the team. It's happened. I don't have the data in front of me. I don't know if it's been more than 7 8 times in the modern era that a team only three games above 500 gets in at large bid. 14 losses, the list is really small. So if you want to make the case against Michigan, look to history and say, man, 17 and 14, you're going to put that team in. And why would Michigan be in the conversation to begin with? We're not going to relitigate on the previous episode, but why? Part of it is because Michigan strength the schedule overall is number three in the country. It's played more hard games against good teams than almost anyone. The committee will see that and it's affecting where it's landing in a lot of these metrics. That's why it's here. If Michigan strength the schedule was in the 100 or 200, I guarantee you would not be a bubble team right now. That has positively impacted its case in addition to obviously getting the wins it's needed as of late. Last thing for me on Michigan, if the pattern holds for a month now, win loss win loss win loss win loss, the next game Michigan is due to lose against Indiana on Thursday. I'm still trying to figure out how Indiana went 15 and three in the big thing got a 5 seed. By the way, by the way, I was like, as you well know, league record doesn't matter. You're like, it doesn't matter, by the way, I'm getting the hell out of this podcast and he's just disappeared on me. I was scrolling down because I had to look this up. I was like, that's crazy to me, and I accidentally hit the wrong button. It's all right. It was flawless though, but I want to do it at least acknowledge it for everyone watching on YouTube there. 14th, 14th at Ken Palmer on selection Sunday. 15 and three outright Big Ten chance and got a 5 C I wonder if I was mad about that back then. I have no recollection of it. By the way, they lost to North Carolina, North Carolina was a one seed. So, you know, they went as far as their seeds suggested they were supposed to go. In that NCAA tournament and then they got wiped out by North Carolina and then next season wasn't so good. Injury induced and that was that. All right, what were you asking me? Well, just Indiana Michigan, but I think we've been enough on this. Can we just talk Rutgers real quick here? Because that's the other bubble team. It's on the four line. Rutgers, here are, as we record this, this is phenomenal to me. Rutgers is, I really think this might be like every year I say this parish, it's like, man, I love this. This last year loyal or Chicago was the case we'd never seen before. We haven't seen this Rutgers is projected to be in the field right now. It's team sheet metrics. It's best is 50th. Strength the record 50th, KPI 57, it's 69 and BPI. Nice. It's 59 in sagarin. It's 73rd and Ken palm and the worst of all of them is its net at 76. This team is projected in. Those are simply mediocre pedestrian. In terms of that large stuff, obviously subpar, they rank worse on average than teams like Belmont, Kansas state, Santa Clara, Toledo. Rutgers is below these teams. Vermont. Vermont's almost pretty close there. Washington state. And yet it's right there. Deserves a so when you look at the wins. But Rutgers, man, I didn't think I was here about 48 72 hours ago, but I'm here now. Let's say, all right, so let's say I would just be Nebraska or northwestern, although Nebraska who the hell knows, right? Iowa moves on place Rutgers. I was going to be favored in that game. And if I will beat Rutgers, now you said Michigan Rutgers going, but I don't know if I don't think Rutgers can with those numbers perish? Because the way this is going to work when they get to the, when the committee is convening this week..

"Providence nova, you can't see hall marquette and creighton. They're all safe. Create market are going to play each other in the first round as you can see on the graphic on YouTube. That's a four 5 matchup that will kick off on I say kick-off it will actually technically tip off on Thursday. That means the only team that kind of quasi may be barely I don't even think so is on the bubble is Xavier. Give me your thoughts on Xavier, it's got that game against butler in the first, it's gonna be the first game of the tournament. 90 the butler nowhere near the NIT going up against Xavier, if X loses that game, do you think it's at large case is dicey or do you think this team's in no matter what? I mean, I think it's case should be dicey because I don't like teams getting in that have played their worst basketball leading up to selection Sunday and that's the reality with Xavier, aside from a win over Georgetown, which really counts for nothing. This is a team that's been on it pretty horrendous slide as of late. And going up against a butler team in the first round that isn't going to do them a whole lot of good to win that game either because we'll see I'm not exactly sure off the top of my head where butler is in the net. So not sure what sort of quadrant that game would be, but it's one 20. I got you real quick. Butler is one 28 in the net on a neutral court one 28 in the net as a quad three game. There you go. And then do we think they're going to be Providence in the quarterfinals? I don't see it. I don't see Xavier really helping its case much in this conference tournament. Now, they're on the bubble. So a lot of it's going to depend on what happens elsewhere around the country. The week is off to a good start for bubble teams, obviously with Murray state taking care of business in the OBC final. But there's a lot of dominoes still to fall there. And so I just feel like Xavier is going to end up needing some help if it's going to get into the NCAA. Cop might be onto something here. There's going to be Xavier fans that listen to this that disagree. There's going to be ticked off if you're a fans who are almost nodding agreement because they're just absolutely there are furious over the fact that this was a preseason top 25 level team and they faded again down the stretch under Travis steel. But here's the deal right now with Xavier, we'll be quick on this. Best team sheet metric as we record this on a Sunday Night, it's actually the net 35. Now that's decent. Don't get me wrong. But the results based metrics not helping them strength the record 53. KPI is 39 predictive, kind of all over the board here. Ken pumps his Xavier's number 51 in the country. BPI's at 49 sagarin is a little bit healthier at 39. A loss to butler would get it really dicey. I do want to pick up on one thing cop said and I'm not saying that you were alluding to the specifically you were more speaking to your personal taste when it gets to evaluating tournament teams. Reminder, because I actually had two coaches in the past week kind of hit me up and talked to me about this thing. Thinking that it was still a criterion and it's not. How you play down the stretch of the season has no impact on it if you get in and where you get seated. Once upon a time, your final ten games was a criterion, but that's not been the case for well over a decade there so that if a team loses 7 out of ten, 8 out of 9, four out of 6 down the stretch, it does not matter. But I do think for some committee members, it's hard to separate what they're seeing in front of their eyes and balancing. I was going to say you get the human nature element of this involved. And let's say hypothetically, hypothetically it comes down to Xavier or Rutgers. How do you pick Xavier over Rutgers given what Rutgers accomplished during the Big Ten in the way turn things on in the second half of the season? You can't, but with you saying that, how about this, man? Oh, it's just so fascinating. And obviously we'll go deeper on Rutgers on the Big Ten. Right now, but we're recording this. Yeah, well, they're still pretty good. Ross Chris is 76 in the net. It doesn't have a team sheet metric better than 50th. But objectively, Rutgers has to be considered safer than Xavier in my opinion. But I think that these things, you know, debate one team versus the other. I think it's a wonderful thing for the committee. A great challenge to put forth in front of them because we are going to get real evidence here this year of how the committee is going to handle and grasp teams that either have drastically different metrics one versus the other, loyal Chicago springs to mind, not good in resume based, really good and predictive. We've heard that tune before. And a record versus Xavier is another one to keep in mind there. I think Xavier is Xavier beats butler. I'm saying they're in. I think it's in, but the metrics aren't wonderful. And I don't know if it's a surefire deal, certainly something to keep an eye out. Well, to be clear, it's a very thin line because you're talking about a Xavier team that took Providence to triple overtime. So to suggest that this team isn't capable of beating Providence is ridiculous. Clearly that they could do that. And so I'm not ruling out the possibility that they go in upset the number one seed the day after beating butler in the first round. It's certainly possible I just don't see how a win over butler and that being it really helps the team that's struggled a lot down the stretch and then I do wonder if the human nature element of what that committee will be going through next week plays a factor in the way they are evaluated. So I guess I'm the devil's advocate here a little bit, but it's certainly possible because the line here is so thin. And this is a Xavier team that has shown flashes. So I'm not ruling out that the musketeers, I think they are capable of going on and run this month, but there's been no signs of that capability in recent weeks. 5 and 9 in quad one, four and two and quad two, that combines for a 9 11 quad one quad two overall mark. Not great, but not far from horrible, 5 O one and quad three, only four quad four games for Xavier, which is actually helping their net metric overall, keep an eye out for that. Okay, bid thieves. The teams that have no shot at bubble status. The schools that apply here at St. John's butler to Paul and Georgetown, who's the bit thief there. If you got to pick one and we do got to pick one, I think it's obvious. I go to Johnny's. And I think you got to be on that train with me. Well, I mean, you know I love posh Alexander. Yes. Oh my God, sub 6 footer. 9 assists zero points in his last game. I think he'll be hungry to get in the score column. This week. And the type of a guy who honestly could easily become a darling of March because of his undersized nature and his defensive tenacity. He's sort of a made from March superstar who I hope at some point in his college career gets to shine on the NCAA tournament stage. I will actually go butler though just to be different because you're talking about a veteran latent team in butler and a team that I think, you know, they could maybe upset Providence. They played him close twice during the regular season. Providence is not invincible. And rated very highly in the luck category this year. They want a ton of close games. So I like the idea of butler being a veteran laden team, a team playing for a coach who played a butler who might rally his guys for the postseason. I don't know, I just see some potential march type of substance there with butler, even though it really hasn't shown up much for them this season. They don't have a star on their team, which is why I think they're going to get overlooked. I mean, there's nobody on that roster who averages more than 11 points a game. And somebody decides to flash or pop randomly this week. They could be a team that I could see getting on a heater kind of like Georgetown did last season. You're out of your mind. Butler's lost 5 in a row, and they're not going to do this. But I appreciate I appreciate the take..

"Memphis, but they head into the weekend with zero quarter one wins. And they're fourth in the net. Incredible computer numbers, but nothing good in the first quarter and they're zero and three in quadrant one opportunities. All right about that. Man, talk about the American dragon them down. Yikes. And yet they've overcome it like predictive having top 6 resume KPI strength the record 14 and that's there's still fourth in the net. If you want any evidence and there's we're not short on this at all, that the net, which have maintained since it started, is more predictive than results based. And this is fine. I don't have necessarily an issue with it. I'm glad they have results based metrics to evaluate office as well. The net kind of dancing in tandem with your sagarin and Ken toms and torvik highly reflective in many ways there. In many ways. So yeah, fourth in the net for Houston. Okay, let's talk about how state real quick. We bang on Purdue all the time for its lack of defense. And each of the girls is a good defender. Al-Qaeda is a good defender. But Ohio State, are you aware that it's worse defensively? The Purdue right now is one O two in the nation. Points per possession allowed adjusted. Ohio State, one 18 has lost three of its past 5, kind of spying loses at home to Nebraska. 78 70. And in the game, Bryce McGowan's was terrific. Liddell at 27, branham had 16. No one else did anything. They didn't have zed key available, Kyle young only played 8 minutes. So I get that, but you're at home against Nebraska. One. And that is a seed line knock to the extreme. Ohio State and Michigan state are really careening off the tracks. They thought they were going. And I think OSU with this quad four loss, like it's gonna have to really do damage in the Big Ten tournament to make up for this and say get to the 5 line. Thoughts on the buckeyes. Well, last season, they were fourth in offensive efficiency, 82nd in defense of efficiency. They get knocked off in the first round of the instantly tournament by oral Roberts. This season, it's like more of the same. They're 12th and offensive efficiency. Great. And a 118th in defense efficiency. According to Ken pom, like that's a problem. It's wild because I think it was just last week. We were talking about Ohio State and one of the things I noted is that, you know, since the second game of the season, they had been between 13th and 24th at Ken pom, the entire season. Never higher than 13, never lower than 24th, had never lost back to back Ben ting games. Had never won more than two Big Ten games in a row. So they had done nothing that makes us say, hey, we need to talk about Ohio State. They had gone on some wild winning streak that makes you go, oh boy, where is this team headed? They hadn't gone on some wild losing streak that makes you go, oh man, what's wrong with this team? They had just sort of, you know, win a few, lose one, win a few, lose one, win a few lose one. And then they had a chance heading into this past weekend to sort of break that pattern. 'cause they had beaten in Indiana, they had one at Illinois, and then they were playing at Maryland. Mirrorless coach quit in December. I just think if you're playing a team whose coach quit just said, you know what? I can't do this anymore. You should be able to beat that team. If you're a legitimate top 25 team. So they were about to win three Big Ten games in a row for the first time this season. And then I lose to Maryland. By 15, and then they back it up with a home Austin Nebraska? What? I mean, this team had nothing outside of the first two quadrants negative. And then they go out and I believe last night, the loss to Nebraska was a quadrant for. I said that. But I'm just trying to politely correct you. Oh, okay. As of this morning, it's a quadrant three because it is. Okay, well, Nebraska moved. I need one for me. I was wrong. That's me. I need to get that on the board and I will 'cause you know what? I was wrong. Sorry about that. Because Nebraska moved up to a 148 in the net. So now, like when I went to bed, it looked real bad. It was a quadrant four. Woke up, it's a quadrant three, but still. You can't lose that game like that at home. And to your point about Bryce McGowan's, he was awesome, but like, I handled the highlight on this last night. The way we typically do this throughout the night, whether it's half times and an inside college basketball, he's like, if you get a highlight early, just keep that highlight throughout the night, 'cause you get more familiar with it the more times you see it. And you know, it just makes the job easier. It's smart producing. You don't mind me saying. And so I had Ohio State and Nebraska highlight. And it was like Bryce McGowan's just straight line drives from 25 feet straight to the rim. It's like how he just goes, you watch NBA games and it's like John Moran's got to go over here back here back here, bounce, bounce, bounce. He's at.

"On the call. Switch, big on little here. Perry. For the lead. He did it again. 2.4 left. Walker's got it. Hand loss from that point. And jelly for the championship. That's what that was. Yes. It was. It was the jelly for the championship. At least for the championship. Great call hassle effort listener of the pod and did a great job there. North Texas will be getting love in this week's court report I'm scheduled to talk with coach grant mccaslin, who, by the way, as just as an aside, I was looking I was looking this up, this will be in the court report. Grit mccaslin, former Baylor assistant, has been with north Texas since 2017. He got promoted. He got the job after spending a year at Arkansas state. 20, 21, 21, 20, 18 a season ago on a shortened season and one over perdue and upset fashion. Now at 20 and four, might be a prime candidate for a bigger job, the sauce season. We'll see this upcoming march. I should say, we'll see. Elsewhere around Carolina gets a Carolina quad one? Quad one, win. What are you? Hey, listen, it's a start. I did write last week on the dribble handoff that UNC would make the tournament and then I think it was after that that UNC next night lost a pit. Lost that pit at home. So we'll see if I wind up being brutally wrong on that or not. By the way, LSU lost by 14 it had a 14 point lead that lost that lead lost to South Carolina. Bubble results in general that we haven't touched on. Bubble good, wake forest beat Notre-Dame that's good for wake. It's kind of a double bubble game. Bad for the Irish wake force is clearly a tournament team as of right now. North Texas I mentioned I think north Texas actually has a bubble case at this point with that win. They might not need it, but I think they've got a serious bubble resume at this point. Davidson beat St. Louis, not much of a bubble team, but if you lost it, you would have been and then Florida beats auburn the bad loss as Oklahoma to Iowa state, TCU lost a Baylor, their case is getting a little bit slippery. A quasi double bubble game quasi. Miami lost at home to Virginia, Virginia now has swept Miami. It's going to play duke later this week. We'll preview that on the Wednesday because that's a Wednesday game. Virginia is one went away from like, okay, we really got to talk about the wahoo. So we'll wait and see. And then loyal, a Chicago man. Well, two of them. BYU lost at saint Mary's BY is not in the field or not. Now, I actually think BYU needs to win every game until the WC title game at minimum to have a large case if you really peel back on that resume. That's an important one. And then Loyola Chicago. It's just real quick on this. So Loyola Chicago loses at home to Drake. This is loyal to Chicago's resume right now. They were like, they were safely in the field in the eyes of some going into this weekend. Parrish, I'm not so sure about that. All right, here are the metrics all of them, as of Sunday Night. Net 37, KPI, 57 and shrink the record 46. That's just resume overall. If you're not top 40 in resume, you're already battling an uphill climb. They're good, but they're not that great. The best of them is Ken palm, 36, 38 and BPI and 45th and sagarin. Loyal is best win is over San Francisco, which projects as an NCA tournament team right now, but isn't a lock. Other than that, it doesn't have like a high mark win. It's done decently enough, but I don't know perish. It's two and two in quad one, two and three and quad two to be four and 5 and quad one and two. We've gotten a little bit of custom to this program, obviously being relevant one of the betterment measures. But I almost wonder if there's a reverse like situation going on where we almost give it the benefit of the doubt because of the name. If it was, frankly, if this was Illinois state instead of loyal to Chicago, they're not even close to the tournament discussion, I don't think. So I thought that lost a Drake was pretty costly. If I'm drew Valentine and the rambler is like, I don't mess around. I make the Missouri valley championship game without a loss between here and there at minimum in order to even allow yourself to be in that conversation. Yeah, they've put themselves in a problem playing in a league like that. Is that when you take these quad three losses, which is what this was. make up for it. I mean, we saw Rutgers go from a million miles off the bubble to on the right side bubble in two weeks. Why? Because they were just what quad one quad one quad one. You can do that in the Big Ten. You can't do that in the NBC. And so I mean, the problem for a team like that is that I'm looking at the rest of the schedule. On Monday, they got Illinois at Illinois state quad three, quad four. Against Evansville after that. And then a quad two game against northern Iowa to close the regular season. So you don't really have the northern Iowa game can help you, I guess. I don't even look at quad three wins and quad four wins. It's like they don't matter. Yeah. You just don't lose the game. You can't lose. You don't matter. They literally don't matter. In terms of if you're building a resume, they have no value. Yeah, right. I don't even look at them. Like if you asked me right now, how many quad three wins does I have no idea? I don't even look at them. The only time quad three and quad four games matter to your resume is if they're losses. And so when you take one, you got to be able to make up for it. And when you're in a league like this, there's really not really great places to make up for it. I would advise them not to lose again. I agree. I think BYU and Loyola Chicago were the two teams that lost on Saturday who I would advise not to lose again. And if you lose again, it better be the last game possible to even make it a make it a chance and that's in your conference championship games. One other thing from Saturday, I put Darius McGee on one of the college all star teams that we did for a little fun exercise. If you haven't listened and go back and listen, he promptly dropped 39 against stetson. So certainly living up to the billing there. And then on Sunday, SMU rolled Memphis, tigers, you know, we're done. Creighton won over marquette 83 82. Blue Jays like they're there. They're kind of getting there, man. They've won 5 starters. Yes, and now they've won 5 in a row. They're introducing themselves to the conversation. That's all. Like marquette's kind of sliding right now, lost what? Four of its past 6 and one of those wins was at home against Georgetown, creighton. I don't know how many of the big east is getting perished. We'll probably get into that as we get closer to march. But it went under the radar because everything did on Sunday, but with what we saw happen there, but between that and then you mentioned the Houston game just a couple of intriguing results Houston getting that awesome awesome awesome double overtime win in dramatic fashion. I thought was pretty good. All right, you want to tell us when we got to look forward to on Monday Tuesday? Indeed. So Monday is mostly slow. You've just got like you've got Baylor at Oklahoma state at 9 o'clock. You've got Indiana Ohio State, which is at 7 on FS1. That's the best game to keep an eye out for. You wouldn't see us at home against Louisville, so it's one of those like don't give us a reason to talk about you, Carolina, just go win at home as you're supposed to do, get the win because the loss is obviously highly damaging. But otherwise, the game to watch is Indiana at Ohio State, Indiana's both teams are actually kind of licking their wounds a bit right now. And then on Tuesday, and oh, by the way, before we get before we get out of here, Paris is going to I don't know the story either. I'm eager to hear why the hell your phone is in New Jersey right now. On Tuesday, Villanova plays at Yukon at 8 o'clock, but you've also before that at 7, you've got Arkansas against Florida, which is pretty intriguing San Diego state Boise state at.

"53rd and KPI, 48 and strength of record, 67 in BPI, 69 Ken palm, 58 at sagarin. None of those metrics indicate that would be in the field right now. They have good wins. They obviously won't be in the top 16 reveal. But I don't want recency bias to affect the overall resume. I talked to Tom Burnett. Parrish is it okay if I promote my interview on our eye on college basketball podcast channel that I did yesterday? If you want to bore the audience, sure. Okay. So I interviewed the selection committee chair on Thursday. That interview can be seen on the ion college basketball podcast channel. You will not get it in the podcast feed, it is a YouTube only special. So if you have not watched it already, please go do so on Saturday on CBS, there will be the in season top 16 reveal. And so I talked to Tom Burnett to ask him a few things about all this. Keep an eye on that and that'll be Saturday at 1230. But in talking to him about all that, you know, we talked about the importance of entirety of resume. He goes into why it's not just the net net is kind of a default understandably it's the primary sorting tool for the NAA selection committee, but it's important to take into account all these metrics and the games in November count as much as the ones that just got played. So with that in mind, I would not have Rutgers in the field yet. And I don't think the metrics support it. We won't know this to be truthful now because we're only going to see the top 16 teams. But the winds are great. The losses do also matter and they would be a groundbreaking case if these metrics were all the same once we got to selection Sunday with the gurs and they weren't better than 48th in any metric and they got in. That would be unprecedented. So they're getting there, but they still got to do more. I know, by the way, the next two games are at Purdue and atmos. I agree with every bit of that that, you know, we shouldn't get caught up in recency bias. What happens in November matters just as much as what happens in February? That's all true. I guess, and I just point out, Jerry Paul understands all that as well. And he now has Rutgers as an 11 seat. Like not even barely in. Like not even going to Dayton. And so like reasonable people can disagree. I'm not here to say who's right and who's wrong. But for whatever it's worth, the CBS sports expert bracketologist has Rutgers easily in the field right now. Now, you know, barring a surprise, they will take another loss on Sunday. Barring a surprise. But it'll be a quadrant one loss. I don't know how much those I don't know if those things should knock you out of the field if you're a projected as an 11 seed going into it. But the idea that we're even talking about Rutgers on February 18th is a pretty remarkable story because again, two weeks ago, they were 12 and 9 and outside of the top 100 at Ken palm. There was no reason to think that they had anything like this in store for them and yet here they are again. And beyond that, I just sort of like Rutgers being good at basketball. Like Jersey Mike's arena. Remember when we were never going to call Jersey Mike's arena? And I do remember this. Now I will never call it anything other than Jersey Mike's arena. But Jersey Mike's arena has forever, you know, it's an incredible atmosphere when records is good. And you know, in college basketball, we get so caught so often. It's like, okay, this team's good again, but who are the players? I don't remember these names from last season. I'm talking about precautions where college basketball. Like Gio baker, we know everybody knows geo baker and Ron Harper like these guys who have been around and grown with the program. I don't know, I just think records being good is a nice and neat story because remember when that job opened, I know people that job was offered to. So do you. And the prevailing thought was, yeah, they're going to pay you a lot of money and you'll have access to a private plane and you'll be in the Big Ten and then you'll get your brains beat in. Over and over and over again and then you get fired in 5 years and you'll have, yeah, you have $10 million. But you'll be miserable for 5 years until you get fired. And they end up offering the job to Steve. And he's like, perfect for that job. Because you're not going to out recruit out player in the Big Ten Wisconsin, Ohio State. Indiana, Michigan state, Michigan. Most of those programs. So what do you need at Rutgers? You need somebody who, when he gets some guys, maybe not the same caliber of high school prospects as the guys the other guys are getting, but boy he can coach him. And he could turn it into something. And that is exactly what Steve has done at ruckus and it's been fun to watch. They're going to have to do plenty more though. Listen, they're awesome story. If they can get in and be incredible, but they're at Purdue at Michigan still got to go add Indiana, they got a return game against Wisconsin, remember they won out Wisconsin, a sweep of Wisconsin was certainly helped the resume and then I would highly advise Rutgers to not F around and find out once we get to the Big Ten tournament as of right now, I wouldn't have them in the field, but they're certainly getting there and they are now the most intriguing at large resume in the country. They're unquestionably a bubble team. If you want to make the case for it, I hear you. But I don't believe that they can get in with the metrics that they have at this point. So all for it and let's hope that Ron Harper junior can get better soon. I would actually not make sure if he's not like really, really good, and he can worsen the injury, just don't play him up perdue. Your odds are low at winning that game anyway. Like maybe be good for the roadie against Michigan on Wednesday, but you know that training staff that coaching staff will do whatever needs to be done. And he'll be back as soon as hopefully he can and hopefully this isn't a thing where it's like, oh, he missed Purdue. I can't go on Michigan. Oh, okay, now he's mister Wisconsin game. Hopefully it's not one of those kind of injuries. And they can get back in the mix, but yes, Rutgers right now, just an awesome story sitting at ten and 5 in the conference. The only teams ahead of them in the lost column perdue, Illinois, Wisconsin and Ohio State. All right, we'll get to the Naismith watch list next, we'll tell you how this player of the year race is.

"And four on the season. Before we get to the zags, please enlighten us as your Saturday column did on how rare it is for a first year coach to be as successful as Tommy Lloyd is being this season at Arizona. Happy Valentine's Day, buddy. Happy Valentine's Day. You actually and you threw me, I got thrown for a quick loop. I don't know why I thought this, but I don't know in my brain when you logged on here for this podcast, I thought you were going to be in New York City, but you're flying later today. Yes. You're not there yet. Listen, I'm just twisted. My wife, God bless her. She's like, you know what? Just go and get me flowers, just get an assortment and that's all you need to do for me that's fine. I did a little something else on the side, but anyway, this morning, I had to get it done before we podcasts, so I show up to this florist and my man. Oh my goodness. 30 guys in that thing. I got back in time for this podcast. But Super Bowl Sunday would just, I don't know. Things got away from me. I'm rocking my humphreys McGee winter hat and apparently they played in Connecticut a few nights ago and two different guys and they're like, dude, were you at the show? Were you at the show? I do love me some Humphries. What's not at the show? And so they want to be talking about the set list and their gluten cat and all this stuff. Like 7 people know when I'm referencing anyway, the point is I was in such a squeeze. I was like, well, at least GP will be good to go because he's the New York City and then you're not you're at home. So anyway, hope you gotta understand. And these aren't even sponsors, perhaps they should be. Flowers dot com. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Cherries berries. You just one night, you sitting around two weeks ago, watching basketball, you do the online order, it'll arrive on February 14th. And you saved. Now you do have to pay a little bit more. It's gonna cost you a little bit more. But how much extra money would you pay this morning to not have to do that this morning? That's a fair point, although I did, you know, I go to this floor. I've never been this spot before. It's a great spot. Actually a sizable building for a florist. I gotta be honest. And I picked all the flowers and then the bill comes up. I'm like, we sure about that. We sure about that price there. And sure enough, no, it's accurate. Very accurate. But happy Valentine's Day to everyone listening happy Valentine's to GP. And here we are. We are off and rolling on a rare Monday morning podcast. Yes, that's right. So anyone that came by that can't get to Sunday episodes. Welcome to a Monday, a.m. show. As for your question off the top with Arizona. So this is gonna be a trivia time for the listeners at home because I know GPR knows this because it was in my column. If you haven't read my column, you won't know the answer. So play along at home. Trivia time for the listeners is this and I will tell you the answer at the end of the segment. Tommy Lloyd right now has a team that is number two in multiple metrics, both predictive and results based Arizona has a great shot as we speak right now at getting a number one seat. They rolled Washington over the weekend, one 92 to 68. And with the 22 and two record right now, Arizona isn't a really good spot. And I think what Tommy Lloyd is doing here is up for legitimate consideration for national coach of the year, obviously he'd be on the short list. But if he can get Arizona to the one line on selection Sunday, which we are now less than a month away from, by the way, we are less than a month away from selection Sunday. He would become just the third coach in history to get a number one seat in his first season as a head coach period. Not first season with the program. No, first season ever as a head coach, only two other people have done it. You can play along internally. I'll let you know who the other two people were in just a little bit here. So Arizona at this point, I know you don't have them second overall, but my column basically said, Arizona has a very convincing case to be a top two team in the sport right now because of what they've been able to do. If you look at the metrics right now, they are fourth in torvik, but they are second in Ken palm. They were second in the net as of yesterday. Obviously, still are. So second in the net. Second is drink the record, second in camp, second and sagarin, second and BPI, they are fourth and KPI and they are fourth at torvik. So Arizona has a viable case. The only two losses on the road, Tennessee, UCLA, not only are those they were ranked teams when they played them ranked teams now viable, comfortable high seated NCAA tournament teams, Tommy Lloyd's been able to do has been outstanding. I don't want to say it's been overlooked Paris, 'cause it has not been overlooked. I mean, damn, I just wrote a damn column about it over the weekend, but at this point, I would have Tommy Lloyd national coach of the year. I say this as someone who's going to go see another prime candidate for that on Tuesday night with that coolie. I see what Bruce pearl is done. But because Tommy Lloyd just became a head coach, just took over this program, has his team sitting on the one line and per more metrics than not the second best team in the sport to Gonzaga. I would have him, again, this has ever so narrowly narrowly ahead of Bruce pearl and then head of Ed Cooley, but what he's done there has been well beyond expectation last point here. Because I think it can sometimes be easy just to think like, oh yeah, well, you know, they were going to have a good team that had a good roster. This team wasn't that great last season when they had Sean Miller and they had the postseason ban and they were not a rank group heading into the season. They were expected to be good, top three top four in the PAC 12, but not top 5 in the country good. What Tommy Lloyd's been able to do with this roster with this talent to get Arizona back in the mix of national relevance caught by status is pretty awesome. They did finish 29th at Kim palm last season under Sean Miller. I think we've talked about this before. They were a good team last season. We just never discussed them really or focused on the much because they weren't going to play in the NCA tournament. I don't want to say they were all people's radar, but we don't spend a lot of time talking about teams that aren't going to the NCAA tournament. But they finished 29th and then they returned azules to Bellas, bin Mather and Kirk, Christian colloquial. They returned 5 of their top 9 scores..

"Other interesting developments from Tuesday night, I do want to back up to Monday night. Because dead leg, you sorta had this one on your radar. You suggested on Sunday's podcast that Virginia would be competitive at duke despite being an 11 point underdog. I was dismissive of your prediction. And then Virginia went one at 69 68 on a Rees beekman three at the buzzer. What did you know that I didn't know? I was wrong. Just had that sense, man. How about that? How about that game? Man, Virginia. I did think that coming two days off of the Carolina. Listen, I was effectively guessing, but whatever. Like two days off of the Carolina game, obviously hugely emotional. Mike shasky alluded to this after the loss. He said, something along the lines of we have to stay hungry even after we've eaten or whatever. And he was basically saying, you know, Carolina is obviously a huge, huge game that takes a terrible diet plan, by the way. That's an awful approach to dieting. Yeah, but applied. Applied as a metaphor to try to win basketball games I can understand what he was saying there. 48 hours removed from a road game at Carolina that just takes up so much of your inventory emotionally and spiritually. You got to turn around on two days and play Virginia, which hasn't been good this year, but it has one of the best coaches in the sport. And you weren't ready. Reese beekman, big time player. All around, just in terms of his defense of shooting capability. Now, we talked about jabari Smith, you can see the box here on the stream. We talked about what Barr Smith said palo ban care disappeared. Down a stretch of this game, and AJ Griffin only played 24 minutes. He wasn't even a factor. He had a complete one 80 from the AJ Griffin. We had seen in the previous three games. So my quick thoughts on duke are lost is like that home losses to Miami and Virginia now, ACC is not that good. Duke has a very narrow window to getting number one seat at this point. It can probably maybe afford to lose one more game. And then otherwise it's gonna have no shot at a number one seed. This stuff adds up overall. Kind of stunning to see banker will be that much of a non fact for a lot of the second half. But I will give credit to Virginia, which had a wonderful game plan and then made a second three pointer in the closing seconds, I heard on PTI on Tuesday as I was making dinner for my kids. I heard Tony kornheiser say when they were talking about this game, they didn't give me the two other instances, but I know one of them is Stephen F Austin. He said that Virginia winning in the final two seconds at Cameron marked only the third time in 25 years at a team one at Cameron and the final two seconds. One was Stephen F Austin when was Virginia. I don't know who the third one is, though, I tried to research it. I don't know who that would have been. I'm not there with Virginia being a bubble team just yet. They're not. They're not there. They're not close. Here's what I got their numbers. Do you want to read them 'cause I got them? I got them in front of me. Knock yourself out. Okay, so they're 81st in the net. They're best team sheet ranking right now. It's 58 in BPI, but everything else is in the 70s. What is it? 50. Well, it's technically 57 and sagarin. But two quad one wins, quad one quad two combined is 6 and 6, respectable enough, this team is three. Not only does have three quad three losses, it is sub 500 in quad three. So you're right. I don't think Virginia is close at this point if we want to define close as take the cut line and then first four out next four out, then you get to Virginia in my opinion at this point. They're too far down, but it's a big time win and the virginian has been able to peel off some victories here to at least bring some, you know, bring some signs of life to its season at 76 and can palm three in a row next we'll be home against Georgia Tech than at Virginia tech. You get to 17 and 9, 11 and 5 in a down ACC. Then we can maybe have a little bit of a chat here. But yeah, Tony Bennett, final time playing K and Cameron, he gets the W there and going to Cavaliers, duke is do you still good? Has four losses lost to elastic by 5? Miami by two floors state by one, Virginia by one. Four losses combine 9 points. Interesting team, I think it's window. It's room for error for any more defeats and still to be on the one line is very narrow at this point. Well, here's another problem for them. So now they've got the one quadrant three loss, a home loss to Virginia. Virginia is 80th, 81st in the net. So there's a chance for dinner gets inside the top 75 and that turns into a quadrant two loss. But the other issue is Miami is like 72nd 73rd in the net. So if Virginia stays outside the temp top 75 and Miami slips to 76 or lower, which is obviously very possible, well, now you've got a reservation with two quadrant three losses. Again, as somebody who looks at this stuff every day, most of the best teams in the country have.

"For Sunday, not Saturday. I think if you're a fan of either team, you're aware of that. But the game got pushed today because up around these parts GP. You're planning to go golfing on Sunday. I'm planning for 12 inches of snow, so they push this Saturday tip into Sunday out in Providence so they will wait for the storm to clear and then they will hoop and tip off in Providence on Sunday afternoon. I'm glad you explained the situation with Providence computer numbers because I have seen a lot of Providence fans. They're very angry with the computers. They feel incredibly disrespected by the computers. It's always, what's the right word? Interesting to me when you get these people, and it's not just provenance fans. I don't mean to make it out like that. It just happens to be Providence fans right now. Who get very angry with computer numbers. And then. Fail to grasp why they are what they are. Like they ask questions like, what is wrong with this computer? And it's like, it's very easy to understand exactly what somebody's resume doesn't match up with their computer numbers. You want a lot of close games. You get blown out in your losses. That is as you explain the explanation for Providence not having computer numbers that match with its resume. The resume is terrific, by the way. Four in one and quadrant one, four, one, quadrant two, 8 and two in the first two quadrants. 17 and two overall. It is true that they have taken advantage and give them credit for taking advantage. But they have taken advantage of some advantageous situations. You know, they played Wisconsin without Johnny Davis. They played Yukon without Adama suno. So they got to play Wisconsin, new Khan, both those teams were missing their best player. That's helpful. But, you know, whatever. Take advantage of the situations that you're in. That team is doing it. But the resume clearly doesn't match the computers and you don't have to wonder why or be angry at the computers. It just as they say it is what it is. It is what it is right now, by the way, pomeroy is the most discriminatory against PC 44 6 47. BPI got Providence at 39 sagarin's got them at 36 torvik also got them at 36. But I will say this terrific also has the ability to sort by wins above bubble, which is a metric where it's how many more wins against your schedule have you achieved than the average bubble team would. And right now, here are the top 5 teams in the country versus their schedule again, you know, think of it as it's not exactly this, but it's similar in concept to if we have baseball fans that are clued into the podcast and shouts to the people that might love baseball and then swoop right into college basketball season and go right into the baseball season. Those are the sunrise sunset sports on the calendar. The war stat with baseball wins above replacement player similar. So here are your top 5 teams in the country and wins above bubble this year. Again, according to torvik sortable metric on his site, do you know how to sort wins above bubble on the site GP? I've never tried it, but I'm confident I could figure it out. I've been spending most of my free time mastering whirl. Okay, did you get the word today? Haven't played yet, but tonight, but the night before, so yesterday, third try. Nice. No one be a jerk, don't spoil it in the chat. It took me 6 tries. I got a few friends that, well, they're maniacs with this. And they do it in like the 6 a.m. hour, and I'm never up before 7 a.m.. So every time I wake up, yeah, no. Got the best wife in the world. I never have to get up before 7 a.m.. So I'm waking up to text messages every morning from two or three friends that do the world in the 6 a.m. hour. And all of them it took them 6 tries to get this. It took me 6 years as well. So it's not like an absurdly tough word, but it's a little tricky. That's all. Anyway, when's above bubble? Top 5 teams, best performance against their schedule this season. Auburn is one, Kansas two, Baylor is three, Wisconsin is four, the Providence friars are number 5. So against what if played that goes to show you that even though from a predictive standpoint at this point, Providence is not viewed as a top 30 team by any metric, it is still performed well. That's a different, you're evaluating the teams through a different kind of lens. If you're curious about the back end of that 6 is produced 7 is UCLA 8 is Arizona 9 is LSU and then ten is Gonzaga. I think there's a lot of fun. I was actually gonna go to the marquette Providence game had it been on Saturday, but it got and there had there not been snow, but it got pushed. We will obviously have to podcast on Sunday, and you got the NFC and AMC championship game. So I'm going to stay tight at home, take care of the snow on my driveway and watch from afar. But that's a big time game and it'll be huge news for either team because if Providence can win on Sunday and again, we will pick this game for formal purposes once we get to the final four and one. If the friars can win, they will get to 18 and two. They haven't been this good, this deep into schedule from a record standpoint, GP and 45 seasons. And I don't believe I thought I saw this scroll across the screen when they won against Xavier the other night. I don't think Providence has ever started 7 and one in big east play. I think I saw that on the TV screen. There'll be 8 and one still in command of the conference if they can do that. And then staring down a couple of winnable games that are on the road after that. They will have saint Johnson and Georgetown. Meanwhile, if marquette can win, it would move to 16 and 6, extend its winning streak to 8 consecutive games move to 8 and three in the big east and then become a viable contender to actually win the big east regular season championship by pure nature of getting this win. It would mark three wins in their past four games that came on the road, Villanova and seton hall being the other ones there. So nothing but the huge apps for our guy Shaka. 'cause he's been phenomenal so far this season and Justin Lewis has moved into the discussion for Big E's player of the year. I think after what he was able to do the other night, I just don't think it's deniable at this point. Justin Lewis was off the radar heading into the season. The second year players now averaging 16.6 points 8 rebounds to assist a game more than a steel game. He's been awesome. Now Tyler Cole has been great leading that offense as well. There are more cell. I voted him one of the top 15 defenders in the country when I had to do my midseason defensive player of the year rankings earlier this week. So they've got a lot of pieces, but in my opinion, it has been Lewis above anyone else. I think he's been as impactful as anyone on Villanova, Nate watts or anyone else on Providence. It's been it's been an awesome story. And I think Mark fans got to be over the moon at this point because they were, I remember, I listen, I remember a year ago, not even a year ago when we were talking about marquette and Steve wojciechowski and would he leave? Would he not leave? And I did not sense that he would that he would be exiting after the end of last season. Obviously, that was an incorrect call. Marquette wound up. Floundering a bit down the stretch, but it wasn't brutal. They actually won for their final 5 regular season games to end the season last season and then they were one and done. They got embarrassing the biggie's tournament by Georgetown. And that just led to a change there. And that was clearly the right move. Shaka smart seems like a wonderful fit. And he's outperforming in year one. He's been one of the three or four best new face new place kind of coach up there with the likes of a Tommy Lloyd TJ also burger. You name it. And part of that is expectation. Or even Ben Johnson in Minnesota will see if they wind up getting the tournament or not, but these were teams that were not projected to do well in the first season under the new coach and now marquette is more than doing well. I mean, marquette looks like if you watch them play, I've seen like 5 of the past 6 games. If you watch what they are actually doing on the floor to these teams,.

"West Coast overtime thriller final score Oregon. These four number three UCLA 81 Mick Cronus bruins, they closed this ten point favorite still 5 game winning streak snapped by an Oregon team that is 58th at Ken palm 78th in the net, so that's a quad three lost dead leg. Where were you when you see a took its first quad three loss of the season? I'm assuming asleep. No, I was in my living room sitting in the dark watching on TV, man, lights up. Locked in. I was locked in. I was locked in until Gonzaga wrapped that puppy up last night, so I'm gonna sleep. Long day for me. Don't get back to back to don't fall asleep till three in the morning on Wednesday night. Got a 6 30 wake up call. Fly back home, do a radio show. See the kids, wife. How's that pretty early last night? Understandable completely. Is you're up a lot the two nights before. I got us covered here. I was locked in. We had a lot. A lot of West Coast flavor across the board on Thursday. And then, yeah, actually a lot of late night tips between games like this and even stuff like on CBS Sports Network where San Francisco just wipe the floor with LMU and kind of reinforce the idea that the WCC really does have a top four. As for this game, we're starting to get a little bit of a clearer picture. Maybe maybe a little bit on UCLA. As we speak this morning, and we're we've crossed the halfway point threshold of the regular season. UCLA sits at 25th in the net. Now the results based metrics because UCLA doesn't have a high inventory of games, it just has played fewer games than most other teams in power conferences because of its lengthy COVID pause. It still ranks well there. KPI, Kevin Paul index, which only evaluates teams based off of what's happened this season. It's all everything's in the rearview mirror. There is no predictive quality to it whatsoever. It says UCLA's number 11 team in the country based off what it's done and then strength the record, which is another very good empirical analysis tool that has results based has UCLA 9th. The predictive ones have started to fade a little bit on the bruins here. 14, 15 or 16 and Ken palm sagarin and BPI as of this morning. I still think we need more. It was good on the ducks. Dana Altman gets his 700th win. The ducks had 6 players score in double figures, so led by Jacob young had 23. So that's a bit more like it with Oregon. You know, it's not a stunner that Oregon wins this game. Oregon was a team we expected to be a major player in the PAC 12 hasn't been that to this point. But maybe this is going to be different. 84 81 and over time, UCLA was fortunate to get it to the bonus session to begin with because in fact, I think it was young who had that brutal pass underneath his own basket that allowed UCLA to cut the margin from 6 all the way down to zero in the final 32 33 seconds of regulation. So even getting it to the freebie session there for UCLA with no fans and attendance, which I think has something of an impact overall. But good on Oregon. UCLA is going to have a chance, obviously, the way the pact 12 goes. You've got the travel partner, so organ state will be next on Saturday and I think the winds probably more about organ. But we have had a little bit of the PAC 12s top three two of the three at least. Stumble in a bit. Arizona had no issues with Colorado on Thursday night. But earlier in the week, USC dropped from the ranks of the unbeaten. It actually kind of vomited on its sleeve for the first half of that game against Oregon state on Thursday before getting it together and winning by ten, but we've had UCLA and USC, which is separated themselves from the rest of the conference. Now they've taken on some losses, maybe Oregon can make it a bit interesting there. We'll have to wait and see maybe chalk this up a little bit to the fact that UCLA also hadn't played in almost a month. This was its second game. And it takes a competitive lost nonetheless. I think it was a third game back. Third game back from a nearly four week COVID pause. You mentioned the lack of fans. I believe the number I saw was a 119 relatives of coaches and players were allowed inside Pauly. That's it. And mit cronin was asked about it afterwards. And he said, it doesn't help, but I don't want to make excuses. But it's a real thing. Like having home court advantage in college basketball is a real thing. Watch Harvard play a home game. Tell me that doesn't matter. And watch Gonzaga play a home game. It matters. And when you suddenly don't have that, whatever gap might be there between you and your opponent is a smaller gap. You mentioned it's not a stunner that Oregon beat UCLA. And it's not in a broad sense. It's Oregon, it's Dana Altman. They're back to back PAC 12 outright chance. But this organ team was a ten point underdog..

"Rice beat UAB. Rice. What's going on out there? So yes, it was a little bit of a nutty nutty weekend and there's some other stuff. We'll get to there. This is the win that kind of validated. I think that's two things here. It certainly validates Miami's cases and so they tournament team. They were entering into that conversation, but you get this win on the road, high quality one that's clearly going to be quad one once we get to selection Sunday. There's some real long-lasting positivity to the resume there for Jim larn egg as hurricane. So good on them. This, by the way, is a program. I think we've mentioned occasionally over the past two or three years or so. But Miami was one of those schools that was initially brought into that whole FBI deal where it was alleged initially that Miami's program was basically willing to pay to get a player. And that wound up being not the case whatsoever. Jim larne and his program were completely absolved of any wrongdoing as far as the federal government was concerned in the incident all that. But Miami still paid a price for it in recruiting and then it couldn't just have the worse luck with injuries and eligibility and all this stuff. So now for Larry nigga to kind of get on the other side of that and see some light at the end of tunnel is kind of a cool story. And then the other takeaway from this as well, I didn't listen to your Friday pod with cops. I don't know if you touched on this at all. We've mentioned here and there. But the ACC, duke was supposed to be the one team that separated from the pack and maybe it's still well, but you lose to Miami here and even more so it's just giving a lot of credibility to the notion that the ACC, this could be, frankly, its weakest season that it's ever had there. So, yeah, this is I don't know if you qualify this GPS the most stunning result of the weekend honestly like Colorado state losing by 30 might be the most stunning to me of all of them. But Miami getting the win at duke, obviously raises plenty of eyebrows. Colorado state was an underdog at San Diego state. Not a 30 point underdog, but an underdog still. They were supposed to lose the game and they did. Worse than they should have, but the result was what the result was supposed to be. Miami was a 15 point underdog at duke. And when carbon I talked about it on Friday in the final four and one. Oh, this is going to break your heart. I took Miami plus the 15. I said, I think dude probably wins the game, but I'm surging. I'm surging in the final four on one surging. I said, I think duke probably wins the game, but that's a lot of points for a team that's won a lot of games in a row. And then of course, Miami ends up winning the game outright. It's fascinating because this is a school program that wouldn't even be on my radar for the top 25 and one. But the issue is that the resume is top 25 and one worthy right now. But the computer numbers are dreadful. And so there's not as somebody who looks at this stuff every day. I'm just telling you there is not another school who resume is so drastically in conflict with the computer numbers. Here's what I mean. Miami is now 13 and three got wins overdue Clemson wake Syracuse NC state. The losses are to UCF Dayton, Alabama, two of those losses are double digit losses. So they're one in one in quadrant one, four and two in quadrant two, which means they are 5 and three in the first two quadrants with zero additional losses. Like from a resume perspective, that's better than Kentucky. It's worthy of being ranked. But the computer numbers are dreadful. 80th in the net, 81st at torvik 82nd at Ken palm 83rd in sagarin. They're 24th in adjusted offensive efficiency, according to Kim palm, 200th in adjusted defense of efficiency. So that defense is among the reasons the computer numbers are bad. Still, it's a pretty interesting situation in coral gables to have a 13 and three team from the ACC with a 5 and a league record on a 9 game winning streak and still be 80 ish in every computer that we point at. That's not a normal thing. I would say all right, so for those that might not be aware, we often talk about when we reference Ken pom and try and give the disclaimer that once you get in certainly in November, heavy, preseason bias, December still there. January is still there. Right around game number 20 is when a team's numbers ranking within Ken palm are strictly off of what they've done within that given season. So Miami 16 games in. It's sex for at FSU. Home to UNC home to FSC again, again, if he's games or play scheduled in game 20 is at Virginia tech. Let's just say let's just you know what, let's go bright side with Miami let's go three and one in that stretch. And we're looking at a 16 and 14 once it gets to that 20 game threshold. I would anticipate that we are going to see a Miami team that will jump for a couple of reasons. If this happens, it's projected to lose three of those four games, which is reflected in how low it is and Ken palm right now. She said 82nd overall. So if it can win those games and outperformance expectation and be a 16 win team 20 games of the season, I would think that it's gonna climb aggressively into the 40s. I think it'll be it'll be pretty substantial there. And it will more accurately probably reflect the reality of what we think Miami can be. But then again, like duke right now is 13th as well. So having not having not seen the game, I can't speak to how poorly or well duke looked when it lost this game. I mean, it was close, but if you do, you're way more talented, you're the better team. You're the best team in the ACC. And apparently, they had a lot of cast of characters played well. Wendell Moore had a double double. He's been a really solid player most of the season. Mark Williams had 6 block shots. Ben carrot, 20 points and 7 boards. So I know if you look at the if you look at the box score overall, that kind of gives a little more indication to what went down there. But to me, it is more about Miami than it is than it is duke and you mentioned Charlie Moore. It's incredible to see these players that are getting this players everywhere getting a bonus here, but Charlie Moore, taking advantage, man, that's an awesome life memory. Go into Cameron and play that well. Get 18 points, leave your team to an upset win over a duke team. It's got multiple future NBA players on it. I think that's an awesome story. So good on Miami. We kind of wait and see with them. I kind of put them in the Texas a and M bucket GP, Texas a and M I mean, I don't know. It's 13 and two and two and O and the SEC, right? Overall strength of schedules horrendous. It's in the 300s. They haven't really played anyone. No idea. But they're going to play what all miss and mizo coming up. Texas am could be a 15 and two team and we don't know if it's still the tournament worthy. I think Miami is a little bit better than that. Strangely enough Texas a and M actually rates higher and all the predictive metrics. But there are a couple of teams like this where the records are big gaudy, but we don't quite have enough information yet on how legitimate they are. On Charlie Moore to sort of thinking about this, is there any player in division one history? Need ESPN stats.

"sagarin" Discussed on The Audible with Feldman And Mandel

"Well, I don't think Ohio State defense is very good. Here's why I say that. So here's what they've after they made the change and Kerry coombs is no longer the play color on defense. They played Tulsa. Tulsa is not that good. They give up 500 yards. They play Akron, Akron is awful. They played Rutgers. Rutgers is pretty mediocre. They played a Maryland team that was down two receivers. Then they played Indiana. They dominated Indiana, but we know Indiana's struggling. Penn State, 400 yards last week. Nebraska, this is not obviously a great Nebraska team. They're probably going to be three and 9. They had their hands full in Nebraska. So that's why I want to say I would like pump the brakes on. I think it's a more of a question of you hit it earlier is how good is the Ohio State offensive line. My fox colleagues had noted that it's like, hey, you have maybe it's four, maybe they're getting their best 5 linemen, but it's like right now it's like four offensive tackles and a guard for offensive tackles in the center and maybe that's why they struggle as much as they have been certainly in the red zone. And that's been one of the issues. Yeah, I was just surprised you were fixated on their defense went to me that well, because I just think you just kind of like waved your hand like, okay, they've got it all fixed. And I'm like, I got it all fixed, but they have gotten a lot better. I'm more concerned about Ohio State, which at one point when they were playing the drags, the Rutgers, the marylands, was scoring touchdowns at will has played two pretty good defenses the last two weeks Nebraska does have a good defense and scored four touchdowns on 27 possessions. Their kicker has made he's been the MVP. He's made 8 field goals over the last two weeks. They get into the red zone and then they bogged down and you're probably right that it's about the offensive line. So look, we started out crafting on Alabama who I also think their offensive line is a mess. Now we're crapping on Ohio State. So when you say, oh, I think Alabama there's no way they should be number two. Who do you put there instead? Instead of them, honestly, I would put Cincinnati. I get it. They have not looked great. They haven't lost either. I would look at it and say, okay, you have Oklahoma. They haven't honestly looked great either that a couple of clunkers. They barely be too lane, they barely beat Kansas. You know, they had to make a frantic comeback to be a Texas team that's now four and 5. Everybody is pretty flawed. I guess the issue I have is, you know, you're going to you're going to kind of gong Cincinnati, but I feel like you're giving a past all these other teams who are playing. Right now, Ohio State, the teams, if you look at what they have and I don't want to keep banging on Ohio State, but I feel like over the last 6 weeks, since that Oregon game, Penn State, I think is a good team. And that was a close game, but they won that. But after that, it's like Nebraska. They're nowhere near a bowl team. Indiana, nowhere near a bowl team. Maryland's gonna scuffle to get bowl eligible. Same with the Rutgers, Akron's awful. I mean, I think they're going to prove themselves down the stretch, but and this is where we kind of differ on things. I am definitely more of like what has happened as opposed to what I think will happen. And so that's why I would like, I don't get why Ohio State was ranked above Cincinnati based on what they've done so far. You want to do that two weeks from now? Sure. But let's wait and hold off and see if they kind of hold up their end of it. So I wouldn't have a problem with Cincinnati number two. I think that if you want to say they've gone undefeated and they have a top ten win so they let's just give them number two because they deserve it. I get that rationale. But they're supposed to pick the four best teams. And I think at some point, I don't think it's fair to hold these teams these group of 5 teams to beat everybody 52 to three. But we're talking three straight weeks now, where if you're saying this is one of the four best teams in the country, they're not really offering evidence to support that. I also don't understand why you're equating, yeah, that's not a great LSU team. And Alabama almost lost to them. But how is that? You can't honestly tell me that having a scare against LSU is the same thing as having a scare against Tulsa. That issue is ranked 26th in the sagarin rankings Tulsa is ranked 99th. Tulane. I don't give a hundred. I don't give a fuck about the sacrifice. How about just common sense? Let's use the common sense ratings. Where do you think what's the difference between having a scare against LSU and the scare against Tulsa? Like Alabama had to stop at two point conversion to beat Tulsa. Yeah, we would raise the alarms, we would drop them, but because it's Cincinnati, all I'm saying stew is right now, Alabama is number two and the committee based that it was a clear number two. And that's fine. If you ask me who would I bet in a game, now that's not what I would consider should be the criteria of this, but who would I bet on? I would bet on Alabama. I might even better on Alabama over Georgia. But you know what I would probably be proven wrong on that. Here's the thing is, like, right now, I feel like if you say which is a better win, beating old miss or beating Notre-Dame at home, I would say beating Notre-Dame as right now is more impressive to me. Now obviously UCF is 6 and three, by the way, they did blow out UCF. We should at least give them that. You know, Alabama has some pretty, you know, some pretty good wins over 5 and 14s. But I think at this point, they do have a loss. Since I mean, you have two really close losses. Close wins over obviously, Florida and LSU neither of those teams or particularly good right now. I mean, I don't think it's a slam dunk that they should be number two over Cincinnati. I don't think at this point. I would go with the team that's undefeated at this point. I think they're number two by default. By lack of a better option, you know? I think if Cincinnati were blowing these teams out, then they should certainly be higher than number 6 if that's what they were doing. If we're saying you're talking about number two, the committee didn't even think they should be in the top 5 last week. I assume they will move up one spot with Michigan state losing, but it's clear that they are it almost doesn't matter because, you know, Oklahoma is sitting back there, they're undefeated, and look what the committee does on this stuff. I mean, we have a week of distance now. So, you know, the committee clearly kind of inserted a Minnesota team that had lost by lost to Bowling Green. And that's certainly I think to prop up Ohio State and the other Big Ten teams because they stuck them in there at 20..

"For weekend? Yeah, I just got my honey. I know that's spent about way but like wage. So if you go to jail for a month, are you going to get fired from your job anyway? Well, that job would have never well. Yeah, that's why I'm saying like so why is this a? I don't know how this is an either-or. That's actually a good. Okay, yep. Like if I could just okay so they mean like spend a month and then you're like you're not in trouble anymore. No one knows you were in there for a month. Then find out which line up a job right now but still have a job. I think off poorly designed question was thrown away a good throwing it away. Let me just do one more speed shop. One. That's my Shuffle. I can I think shuffling wage person. Would you rather give up your phone for a year or have to post a selfie? Every time you use social media? That's horrible. I don't know. We'd be in so much trouble. Cuz that would be posting every four minutes. Yeah. Like it's right like no there is no time pass the kids. No cap. No Cap. Hi day. Literally open up in Terraria, 4 minutes now and they have chat. And then every kind of adjust for like realistic purposes, I could not get my phone for a year. Yeah, I was a social life. Okay, so, okay. What about for July? What about for $2,000? You about the phone for a year? Yep. Oh my God, I mean, I know that say yes, but I am not played. Don't now how I tried to, I wouldn't want to mail things, right? Like, I try to do it because it had metal, I could eat on my computer. Just carry my computer on a yeah. Okay, girl, like I messages on my MacBook because one of your stuff, I don't look at need my phone. What do you do in her out? There goes an Uber. There goes laugh, Christchurch, typepad, your watch off line, but then you have the cellular service, you can't afford at around having a large, but if I did then maybe I said, poor people can't afford a oh I think I make like double your salary. Yeah. Wage Probably feel about that. I mean, you were like, probably, like I said, you make trouble and actually probably, that's not have you recording, what? Your recording only. That's hot. But you have a doctor friend's boyfriend. Went, what's your net worth, or whatever you want to call your insurance policies. And when they pay out and how much is your your partner? Make sure my God, you guys are being mean to each other. Today, he doesn't mean to me because you're just giving all the credit to your partner and I'm on my own. So, that's something more than you. I still get live and survive off. It doesn't your neighborhood. You probably could listen. And then he whips that shit out of nowhere. He's actually a fan. I'm not offended. And then he's like, oh, but you're bucking neighborhood. You're a trash. Has box mother fucker. He's fat by drugs. I'm sure you have many break from this hatred. Is a lot of hate. We need to go into miserable and is your mom talks bad if I say that? Well, now you can be a come to me cuz I, I need your advice. And yeah, yeah, I love doing this too. It's gonna be something so crazy too, so bad. I know it's bad. Like it's stupid. I know it's stupid. But I know you guys to, like, be real with me, okay? I'll be happy if I didn't. Listen, I'm going to be a good boy. Okay, so part of the reason why I no longer can do my workout class tomorrow, is because I forgot. I had scheduled a follow-up doctor's appointment. For tomorrow morning, in which she is going to try to like prescribed me, like, Chantix, how do I tell my doctor that I no longer wish to quit smoking? Well, I just take the prescription and then go home. I guess I would, I do. Like, what is she going to say? When I like never, I'm sorry with who, why are you just like, why should any chance X4 fucking hookah? No chance isn't necessarily knows, it's hookah. She thinks she smoked cigarettes. I just said I smoke. So she thinks her smoking like every hour on the hour. You need a you don't need to, why don't you tell her it's hookah, okay? Because hookah is like, like arguably worse. Yeah, but you're not doing it every day on the out. Like so you're not you're not playing a sense that you need to go outside and smoke a cigarette. Chantix changes your brain. Chemistry, you do not need chance. It's awesome. Anything you should get Lexapro and you have really weird dreams, like, you should take it. No, should I? Yeah. It's like off Sagarin's you'll take it will record. You should definitely get away. And it works to like you won't want to smoke a cigarette? Yeah. Now know, it makes you lose tasty. Well, that's like Cymbalta did that off to the gym to lose taste in your mouth. Yes. And multi like maybe you had covid-19 this was like, oh my God, third time. Yeah. Today. If I don't have a young immune immune system like you, I mean I don't have any benefits it either. Yeah. Honestly, I don't know why getting bridges in New York like a troll. I don't know what I care about you. This is a rat too, little rap on the horse. Should talk her ever like an hour away. If you ever want to get a fight with me, don't because I'm just going to stand on a head. Oh Bobby, I've been on trips with you or we just look at each other and we're like this is not going to work me, indigo, where's the? Hey we're like, where's the X that we can't get a fight? This little Rat Pack? Right over here. I can't think we're going to do that and I'm like, yeah, well, you're stupid people. Look at you, they're like oh he's a big guy, he could take care of this and you're like you're stupid like it's going to be a, you know, like oh no. Yeah, yeah, mister flying and you're like, hey, I gay like stop fighting it out. Okay, so your hand side, take it or do I how line to your doctor would you be tripping? Like, I don't think I need Chantix sure. Like hey, it's song. I don't think I did John table. Why are you? Are you afraid of your doctor? Yeah. Why don't you tell you're not? You're you need to tell you need to find a doctor. That's not a bunch of you can talk to you about your dad. Let's let's go over the why she may have been coming off to you as a bitch maybe because she's telling you information you don't want to hear ya. I'm a smoker almost like ochre. Oh yeah he smokes like two packs a day. No no you smoke four days a week if that wage I think that's a day in your house, like, at least once a day in early, know that. Oh, so now you do need Jan. 2006 sent out. Okay, but see here's how do I look fat? Tax is because I asked if I could get like, a screening for lung cancer and she was like, why do you think you have wrong? I was like, oh, cuz I smoke into the. You don't need our screening for lung cancer to. See, it's not smoking, especially your age, not the answer. Yeah. But when you're like, here's the question, when you change anything, if you got the screening and like, if that's cheating came back negative, you're not going to stop. No, I just wanted to know. But then you don't you don't want radiation for nothing. How much.
