Mark Levin Destroys FBI, National School Boards Association on Hannity
"I said last night on Hannity respecting this move by the attorney general in his memo go You know Sean I served as chief of staff to an attorney general It means during the Reagan administration for some period of time it never would have crossed our minds to do anything like this The Biden Justice Department is made up of Obama retreads The same Obama administration that unleashed the IRS against the Tea Party in my recall These people do not believe in civil liberties at all They do not believe in competition of ideas or competition period With Merrick Garland is done here as he's trying to create out of the FBI some kind of East German Stasi That's what he's doing Spying on parents gathering intelligence on parents tracking parents a special phone number that they use to report domestic terrorists So a teacher who is offended or school board member who's offended or staffer who's offended can report a parent to their government And the pretext here is some kind of widespread violence There's no pattern or widespread violence That pathetic letter written by the left wing national school board association They don't even provide a list of crimes that they think are committed moreover The federal government has absolutely no authority whatsoever to even go into a school board meeting let alone a classroom These are state and local matters fully local police can handle any violence And I would remind everybody that the FBI did damn little when our cities were burning when Black Lives Matter and antifa were brutalizing people were committing acts of larceny were attacking our police The FBI needs to get its act straight So this is a pretext about widespread violence to intimidate threaten and suppress communities and neighborhoods all over the country to comply with the left wing radical marks of the critical race theory gender ism and anything else It's a cabal of the thug teacher unions these educational bureaucrats these Marxist school contractors and the Democrat party and the Biden
Biden's Bill Will Empower the IRS to Track Your Every Transaction
"One One of the core aspects of this bill Biden and the Democrats are pushing Is to massively increase the power of the Internal Revenue Service Now for people who don't pay taxes and are on the doll that's not a big deal But for people who do it is a big deal Because it's intended to again Bully threaten intimidate law abiding American citizens who are actually pay the freight in this country While people on the dog get to watch and laugh John barrasso at a press conference today cut 6 go The Republican Party is not going to allow the IRS to spy on your banking accounts On this single topic alone I've gotten more emails and calls in the last three weeks than I have on any other item over the last of the times I've been in the United States Now what is he talking about Well we've talked about now for weeks and I've done it on television as well And that is this Biden is proposing that any Movement of money that is $600 or more can be monitored by the Internal Revenue Service They can try and figure out what it's for Whether it's coming into your account or going out of your account and not just your account it could be PayPal or Venmo or whatever it is That the Internal Revenue Service would be empowered to trace that And to monitor that

Russell Brand Calls 'Russiagate' a 'Democratic Conspiracy'
"How are we supposed to interpret celebrities coming out who were once on the radical left and now are saying things that were and are very obvious russell brand who is a comedian. He's pretty fair on most things. He's all over the place. No trump fan though at all he has now come out and he has criticized russia gate. Now i'm saying this for a reason because we have a new episode out with cash patel that i encourage all of you to listen to but if you wanna listen to in my opinion. The best analysis of the origins of the russian investigation of peter struck of lisa page of where the all came from. And where we are headed. I'm telling you cash patel who is being targeted by every major institution on the left that you can imagine key breaks down how john durham is building a criminal conspiracy case against the deep state. It was compelling. It was detailed. I pushed him on a lot of different things. And that's exclusively on the charlie kirk show. Podcast app of cash patel. It's one of my favorite episodes. We've done in recent times and it's all around this topic of who is going to be held accountable for what was done back in two thousand sixteen two thousand seventeen timeframe with peter struck and lisa page spying on a presidential campaign and hoping to get away with russ or russell brand now says well. This is all from the clinton campaign russell. The great sean. Hannity has been saying this on his program for literally the last four years but better late than never. I suppose. Play cut fifty six. We'll move so fast. It's almost no time for history. It seems like years ago that we would hear. In the trump was colluding with russia. They would've won the election without russia that he's whole presidency was kind of employees. Well there's now serious evidence that it was the clinton campaign and hillary clinton acolytes lueth directly involved in the generation of has proven to be a conspiracy untrue. Think about how much media watched me a person who i think broadly speaking. He's from the left. A liberal certainly not trump support in republican with respect to those of you that are i find myself in awe gobsmacked flabbergasted in startled by these revelations. The russia gate was a democrat conspiracy.
The Steele Dossier, Explained
"Have a lot of younger listeners. That quite honestly weren't that involved in politics when this was unfolding so just kind of walk us through that again. The significance the unprecedented nature of this. The chuck schumer like passive aggressive warning. Sign in january of seventeen on rachel maddow show right the donald trump accurately saying that. I'm being spied on people's laughing at him. Walk us through the timeline of all this. I think it'd be helpful as i get to. The topic i really want is your in on. Which is durham. Yeah sure are so. Look these investigations as a former federal prosecutor who did national security cases. You know these things take time. You have to get approvals from down below in the bowels of the justice department through the attorney general if you're gonna go surveilled someone of this magnitude. And that's for your younger viewers a search warrant to search more. If you're looking at if you're looking at a bank robber or suspected murderer you have to go before a federal judge and you gotta say judge. I think this guy committed this crime. We need to go and look at his bank records. It cellphone records is emails. Phone calls because we think he killed somebody or because we think he robbed the bank and if there's probable cause the judge grants it same thing in this instance just different federal court that deals with spy and basically what the hillary clinton campaign did was. They spent tens of millions of dollars to collect false information from this guy. Christopher steele will use to be a british intelligent asset. If you can believe it later turned. Fbi informant. i mean. You can't make this up. I never understood this. Where the heck did this tens of how. How on earth did they spend. Tens of millions of dollars. I've never never understood that. Sure so one of the things that we were able to do on house intel. Even though paul ryan didn't want us to do it was subpoenaed. The bank records for this company called fusion. Gps glenn simpson and they were funneling the money through perkins coup which is the democratic ball. And that's what they do. Their job is to be the representatives for the dnc and the hillary clinton campaign so those guys get paid tens of millions of dollars. Money goes into the law firm. The law firm then cuts checks the fusion. Gps for millions of dollars and they go and higher media representatives christopher steele to start putting false smear campaigns against president trump. So they're working. The intelligence apparatus one lane and the media apparatus in another to take on a presidential a presidential
Building the Criminal Case for Conspiracy Against the Deep State with Kash Patel
"With us today as cash patel. I think i've met him a couple of times. But my goodness everyone i respect. Speak so favorably about this man and what he did for our country and i just think so many things were happening at once and then the virus app. We never laid a chance to sit down and talk but cash. Thank you and so i appreciate that. I wanna dive into a couple of things. I i wanna make sure. I plugged this website because cash is currently being targeted by the democrats. And i know cash has to be careful what he describes it but he can say we once. But i'll say it. How i want to because he was so effective in fighting for the president and quite honestly figuring out what has happened happening behind this entire russia. Hoax that they're doing everything they can to try. And issue subpoenas and what have you against cash cash. Do you wanna talk just a second about that so we can talk about. The website will reference it throughout the discussion. Now i appreciate that and long story. Short is charlie. I was lead investigator for chairman. Nunez on the russia gate mestigation where we show the world that the dnc and hillary clinton paid for worse than that. The fbi doj lied to federal courts so they could spy and president trump but exposing that i would be the service you signed up for. When you sign up to serve but the media had I guess a different avenue in mind and basically they started coming after me so long story. Short the personal tax got very personal than they. Just got straight up defamatory. So i sued politico the new york times and cnn for defamation while we're in the middle of those lawsuits now. But i was an theory name and and so does chairman. Noon is clear name. But i've traveled with chairman nunez on his freedom tour this year and so many citizens came up to us and said we've been defamed. We've been platform by big tech. We don't have the means to do. We don't know the lawyers to call to get into court. So i started fight with cash dot com with a k. And basically i said look. Let me use my name for bad or worse to help raise money. I'm gonna pay for your lawyers. You need a day in court. Just like i

Understanding Huawei, China's Controversial Tech Giant
"To us bill if you would about the this company while way that many seem to treat as just another telecommunications cell phone company why is that completely the wrong way to think about while way bill. Yes first off. The chinese are engaged in something called civil military fusion. This is a communist party program directed at the highest levels of both the government and the party which requires all commercial technology to be used for the military and likewise any military developed or stolen in technology then to the civilian sector while way technologies of bills itself as quote private company. It is anything but it is one of the national champions that gets funding and support. It also provides intelligence gathering tools. We learned from the snowden documents that the chinese stole router technology and then use that technology to spy on others and we were able to spy on while away and learn all its intelligence gathering capabilities. This has come out again because of that compromise. Nsa lost the ability. The national security agency lost the ability to spy on wall street. But we've never had the. Us government really come out and explain why this company is so dangerous and the reason. It's so dangerous is because we're on the verge of a revolution in telecommunications with five g. which is going to speed up the communications for that are used for everything down from whether it's washing machines and televisions to the most precision guided munitions that the us military has it's going to affect that to be able to communicate so rapidly and over many long
How Did Hillary Clinton and the DNC Get Away With Spying on Donald Trump?
"How is it that the United States of America you can spy on a presidential campaign because of a lie that you bring to the table How do we allow that in America How is that possible in America All of what I just said use exactly what happened on the Trump Anybody sorry for it now Now I go back to the audio James Comey downplaying the role of the Steele dossier in that fisa application He said I wasn't it was just a bunch of bunch of different facts Back in 2019 December 16th James Comey downplayed the Steele dos that he knew was a lie in 2016 in that fisa application Now why did he downplay it Because he knew that that vice application should have never been granted and the FBI should have never been investigating this James Comey also bragged right about sending some FBI agents He was asked in 2018 after he knew in 2016 That this steel dossier in all this was just nothing but a created lie By the party he supports And when he was asked in 2018 who went around the how did you go around the protocol Why did you go around the protocol going through The White House counsel's office Instead just sent him some FBI agents in The White House For a general Flynn perjury trap Comey smugly said I sent him And everybody laughed This is America today This is what our government is like today
Hillary Clinton Actually Thought She Could Get Away With This...
"I can't believe they thought they'd get away with that Hillary Clinton and their team I mean Hillary probably will You know she's a Democrat She's a protected class But they took almost no efforts whatsoever to paper over their trail to try to cover their tracks to try and get rid of the investigative breadcrumbs They did nothing which says to me they were so confident Hillary Clinton was gonna win and continue the corruption and make the whole scandal of spying on Trump with this collusion hoax go away that they took no proactive measures at all Techno fog is a great sub stack as well Talking about today what's going to happen next And how it appears that somebody got their hands on fusion GPS's internal emails as well And you can see in their tracking documents how they're creating and fabricating these two hoaxes they use to frame Donald Trump for the collusion thing The alpha bank hoax seems communicating with Trump Tower that was totally a hoax And this idea that Carter page was a Trump foreign policy adviser was a central figure in this collusion hoax where Vladimir Putin was bribing Trump through Carter paid You can see in the documents I have them right here right in front of me Techno fog has it is substack which again is going to be in my newsletter today You can see it right here They have this little spreadsheet here And you'll notice conveniently they're talking to each other in these internal emails talking about updating drafts of the alpha group overview They had an alpha group for the alpha bank hoax I mean that was a cool name for a group The alpha group This is what they did And notice the date 9 one of 2016 Glenn Simpson at baumgartner and Peter frisch Re updated draft For the alpha hoax Well what happened Just 18 days later Just 18 days later the Clinton attorney went and met with the FBI and brought them the alphabet hogs It's sitting right here They literally left a paper

Peter Daszak: The Man Behind Anthony Fauci
"We are governed by currently in this era of public health. Put that in quotes lockdowns and draconian drank draconian ism by a group of people that was largely unknown a couple of years ago but they have come to the forefront and have more power than any other people in the history of domestic american policy. One of those people is dr peter desk. Dr peter dasent is the villain behind the villain. Is the man behind foudy. Now many people ask the question. How is it that they spied on. Donald trump the same playbook that they used spy on donald trump. And go after lieutenant general. Michael flynn is precisely the same playbook that they use to launch this fraudulent campaign saying that the chinese corona virus came from the himalayas. It came from some bat soup. I'm reading from the daily mail dot com. It was revealed earlier last year. That peter desk a british scientists with longstanding links to the wuhan institute of variety had secretly orchestrated in landmark statement in the lancet in february two thousand twenty which attacked conspiracy theories suggesting the cove in one thousand nine does not have a natural origin. The now infamous letter signed by twenty-seven seven public health experts said they stood together to strongly condemn the theories that which they said quote do nothing but create fear rumours and prejudice. See that there. You have medical scientists telling us that it creates prejudice. They also lavished praise on chinese scientists. Who said they worked. Diligently and effectively to rapidly identified a pathogen behind this outbreak and share. Their results transparently the global health community. But now the lancet which is the top level of medical discourse and publication said near agreeing to publish an alternative commentary which discusses the possibility that laboratory research might have played a role in the emergence of the sars kobe to ouchi chinese corona virus. The scientists say quote. They need to evaluate all the hypotheses on a rational basis and away their likelihood based on facts evidence devoid speculation concerning potential and possible political impacts in february two thousand twenty. They even add that that statement in part of a silencing effect on the wider scientific debate. Yeah no kidding. Because peter dasent inserted themselves under orders from bouchier he is the pulp fiction equivalent of mr wolf.
How Thirsty Was the FBI for Michael Sussman's False Trump-Russia Claims?
"Just to kind of sum up where we are now. This break in the SPI geh case on Friday was important because it shows Hillary Clinton working with the FBI and a group of attorneys to fake these connections between Trump and Russia. And it shows an FBI more than willing to take the information in and eager and looking for an excuse to get in front of a judge and say it was real and the problem is, they kept flooding the zone. Hillary Clinton, with all of these sources say Trump's colluding with Russia whatever, and they kept telling the FBI they were working with the DNC and Hillary And it created a problem for the FBI because they couldn't tell a judge that So they needed a clean source. They needed a white knight to come in there. Someone clean as the driven snow with a clean C B. Oh, no, no. These people are just in here to tell us about Trump. They have no ulterior motives whatsoever. How do we know that? Because we know On September 19th of 2016 this white knight showed up. According to the allegations, the FBI and the indictment on Friday Michael Sussman, who is a lawyer working with Mrs Clinton, this is why I'm telling you, it's a bigger deal than you think. This guy is connected to everyone. There's no way John Door, um, locked him up for nothing. So he comes into the FBI office. And he says, I have information about Trump colluding with Russia. And according to the allegation, he says, Oh, I'm not working with anybody. I'm not here on behalf of any client. I'm just here giving you potential information about a criminal conspiracy. And the FBI is like yes, finally. Finally The FBI is like this is just great. We gotta sources clean. We can put his information down in a fight application. We can spy on Trump and we won't have to lie and tell a judge, you know, uh, cover up for Hillary Clinton or anything like that. So, it says. In the end I and the FBI's press release that suspects showed up September 19th 2016. Why is this suspicious? Because you learn later on If you watch my show today, the podcast you learn right now on the radio show. If you read the Inspector General Michael Horowitz report who looked at this entire story. There's a really interesting nugget in there again. Hat tip. Our friend full Nelson on social media is all over this stuff. Here it is. Remember, I want you to pay attention to something right here. The date The lawyer walks in. The FBI office is September 1920 16, where he meets with the FBI. And this is their clean source. Finally. They've been hearing all summer about Trump and the Russians and all the sources are dirty. They're telling people that working for Hillary, this is the one guy who said according to the indictment. No, no, I'm not working for anyone. They felt like they had it. How do I know the FBI is in on this? What I think. Let me read to you a piece of this footnote here. From the Horowitz report. The only express direction. We found that Andrew McCabe, who was the deputy director at the time gave regarding the use of a confidential human source concerned. A former confidential human source who contacted an FBI agent FBI Field office in late July. 2016 to report information from a colleague runs an investigative firm hired by two entities, the DNC as well as another individual to explore Donald Trump's long standing ties to Russian entities. So in of this part, one of the footnote, McCabe, the deputy director of the FBI knows that people are piling into FBI offices as early as July of 2016 who are working for Hillary and the DNC. Got it. Okay. Moving on. Good footnote goes on. The former confidential human source also gave the FBI agent a list of individuals and entities who surfaced in the firm's examination of Trump, which the former CHS described as mostly public source material. In mid September. 2016 Andrew McCabe told senior Special Agent one to instruct the FBI agent from the field office not to have any further contact with the former confidential human source and not to accept any information regarding the crossfire. Hurricane investigation Is it that timing Church lady
Clinton-Linked Lawyer Charged for Lying in Trump-Russia Origins Probe
"Hillary Clinton want to set up Donald Trump for the fake Russian collusion thing Big break on Friday. Obviously, one of the lawyers involved in this propagating this collusion fairytale working with the Clintons gets indicted. Big story. Now we start to see what happened. It's clear the FBI was not fooled by the Russian collusion that they were part of it. They were just looking for someone to walk into their office who was credible enough that they could put the information down in a charging document or a fighter application and say, Hey, we heard this from Joey Bag of Donuts. He's credible. And what's the problem? The people who kept coming into the office in New York and London and elsewhere and saying, Hey, got information on these trump guys in the Russians all kept saying, Oh, and by the way, we're working with Hillary Clinton. Now I have no doubt the FBI knew that. But the FBI can't tell that to a judge, Judge judge Bag of doughnuts. We've got an affluent walking in here and excuse me in Africa, and he had a subject walk in and say he was working for Hillary Clinton. They don't like Donald Trump. He's colluding with the Russians. The judge would have laughed him out. So somehow it gets back to the Hillary Clinton team. Hey, listen. You gotta get somebody with bona fide. He's incredibility to go into the FBI telling this information even though it's fake and say, Hey, we're not working with anyone Just doing this out of the kindness of our hearts so we could swear to it. Is everybody digging, Jim? Is this making sense? Picking up what I'm putting down? So how do I know this folks Because the evidence is everywhere. So DOJ hears their release their indictment from last week of this lawyer, Michael Sussman, Right, pay very close attention to these dates. As alleged in the indictment on September 19th Michael Sussman met with FBI general counsel uh, in in Washington. Sussman had requested the meeting to provide the general counsel with certain data files and white papers that allegedly demonstrated covert communications channel between Trump and this Russian bank. Alfa Bank. It was all made up, folks. Assessment. This is the key line who had previously represented the DNC in connection with the Khyber, A cyber hack falsely stated to the FBI general counsel that he was not bringing these allegations to the FBI on behalf of any client. Then they don't wait. Where's the Kenny Belt? There? It is. The Kenny Bell gift from Kenny. He's a podcast listener. That's the souls. That's the story. Finally, in sun, September, mid September, September, 19th someone walks into the FBI who at least claims to not have any of these conflicts. Now the FBI is I go. We got it out. This is gonna be so great. Now we can go to a judge and say we want to spy on Trump and we could say we got information from this guy. Sussman and Sussman says he's not working for anybody. Isn't this so wonderful? Well, The problem is That John Dorms alleging that he was working for someone the entire time he was working with the Hillary Clinton
A Comprehensive Defense of America's Embattled Constitution
"We are blessed everybody. We are very very blessed to live in. A country still has some semblance of a divinely. Inspired form of government of the independent jewish judiciary rule of law consent to the govern- checks and balances and that started today. Not actually today. But on this day i should say many many years ago in seventeen eighty seven the united states constitution after it was the seven articles were at least conditionally approved by the constitution convention. They had to go state by state so they had to go. Delaware was the first state rhode island was the last state to ratify and to approve it and there are seven articles of the united states constitution. It wasn't until seventeen. Ninety one that the bill of rights was passed and ratified by all the states. And that's actually what most people know is their constitutional rights first amendment second amendment amendment fourth amendment first amendment right to speech not to be infringed upon by government. Secondment the right to bear arms third amendment. That soldiers don't come into your home fourth amendment. The government can spy on you fifth amendment. You're right against self-incrimination. Six seven and eight all about process speed and a speedy speedy and quick jury of your peers against long imprisonment unfairly ninth amendment which actually one of my favorite amendments to the constitution which says that anything that is not in the constitution does not mean that it's not protected tenth amendment. Things that are not in here are protect are then given to the states and to the people that the for. That's the first ten amendments to the united states constitution. But that actually wasn't part of what we're celebrating today. If i remember correctly december seventeen ninety one that the bill of rights was was ratified. James madison wrote. It is our reason alone that must be placed in control of the government. Our passions must be controlled by it. The constitution spreads power over time and over land makes it hard to change. Things makes it hard to conduct. Quick revolutions you see the founding fathers in this constitution. And this is the best way to defend. Somebody asked me say charlie what conservatives actually believe said. It's very simple. We believe in natural law. We believe in a natural law. Giver founders knew this they wrote it in the declaration which is why the declaration is a partner of the constitution. They go right into each other. As dr larry arnn from hillsdale college would say it's the founders key. They are meant for one

He believes to be divinely ordained his reluctant end. Slightly dimwitted accomplished the former james dean of unify battered bruised frozen after death in the passenger seat but loyal to the last and in the back seat the son of hollywood royalty muzy on booze and sleeping pills sneering at the radio for spinning the story of his kidnapping to yet another story about his father out while how amazing is that harry are three strangers. Of course junior is also being held against his will here so he didn't have much agency in the narrative. Barry crafting about this trip but embarrassed mine. They were just three men all outcasts in their own way slipping and sliding down the highway towards an unknown fate. Salvation or downfall could go either way for berry. There was only one possible way to interpret this moment so i thought it was another divine revelation that we were on the right track and so forth very was counting on some more divine intervention to see this thing through still had a few hundred miles to drive in a blizzard in order to make it back to the safe house and the perfect soundtrack for his plan of operation was the only thing coming through the speakers. Radio is shining star door to door search first thing in the morning. I'm just justice. And you're listening to the grand scheme snatching sinatra chapter five strangers in the night as the hours passed are strangers in the night. Were making good time on their mad. Dash back to la. We went over these eight thousand foot high mountain passes with no change on and and to get out on a couple of occasions unless significant amount of air on my tyres smoke they get better traction and us fish tailing and everything at one point. He slid directly to snow. And you gotta figure that life altering car wreck from just two year or so earlier you know. The one that got him hooked on quayle was still fresh in his mind but at the moment he had more immediate concerns for one thing has gas tank was almost empty and every gas station. They passed it signs up saying that. They were closed until monday morning. And every little talbot go through the same now got down to about less than a quarter of a tank new series saw. I finding saw trauma nation. Convenience store gas station little motel. What have you with a house on top of the gas station and convenience store so i knocked on the door and the guy guy said outta gas about said yes sir. I've said there anyway. You could sell me some gas to get to work on monday and blah blah blah. And he said sure so. He filled up of gas. And i saw in his store that he sold liquor and i said is there any way i could buy a bottle of whiskey from you in some seven up and some milk now remember burying joe at gambled away all their money in lake tahoe but it also taken junior from his hotel room on the pretense that this was a robbery which meant junior had handed over his wallet which contain a single hundred dollar bill so to repay this poor guy who berry just dragged out of bed and into the snow. I gave him franks dollar bill. I can't change all the money's locked up so s- keep the change now. Remember that's one hundred dollar bill in nineteen sixty three which means that for a tank of gas a bottle whisky. Some seven up and some milk. The gas station owner at pocketed more than eight hundred bucks in today's money. So barry figured the guy would mind if you grab just one more thing so by another bottle of booze and that'll take care of her trip home and he said okay fair enough demand. Tuck the hundred in his pocket and he went back to bed completely unaware that he just aided and abetted federal crime very passed around the whiskey and seven up and he hit the road. We kept looking for a radio station. That wasn't talking about kidnapping playing frank sinatra songs and finally hit on wolfman jack who's broadcasting from the mega station in tijuana and so we all love will find jackie refunded you way before your time but anyway. He was a very comedy for the record. Yes i do. Indeed know who wolfman jack is or was but just in case. You don't take a second to imagine. The sounds of frank sinatra singing voice. Got it now. Imagine the exact opposite good time. Is that a telephone. You all right wait calling from what you lay a hand on the radio bay we go play your record now. Are you ready for the record. I didn't steal jesse's catchphrase. Have mercy from wolfman jack. That's my story and i'm sticking to it anyway. Wolfman jack changed the energy in that car. Joe took a break from dabbing. The blood oozing from his head wound took a few pools of whiskey. Pass the bottle back to junior. Who was already buzzed from the sleeping pills. That buried fed them back at the hotel to hear berry talent. They were having a blast. Were cracking jokes when the car and we were all drinking as much fun as berry says they were having. I suspect his passengers might have been a little more anxious than he realized. Joe is probably wondering when barry was going to ask him to climb back in the trunk runoff. The blizzard again and as cool as junior was playing things he must have been at least a little worried that these guys were kill him. I mean whatever they were up they sure didn't seem like experts. Whatever each man's motivation fund fear of frostbite as they white knuckled it down. Those snowy mountain passes on some level berry knew that they were in a heap of danger with every hairpin turn but in his mind. There was a silver lining. at least they weren't strangers anymore. Bennett was like we were three guys on a road trip.

Mrs opens murder only begins to scratch the surface of this heinous crime even today more than thirty years later the circumstances surrounding her death are still debated in community and of the people who remember that night that still live in town. There are many of them that are willing to talk about. The story made national headlines because it fit into a larger narrative an idea fear that had existed for the most part within the margins of the american social handsome but would now be standing front and center that fear is given name the satanic panic and it had all at once tasked aside the whispered urban legend too hysterical national nightmare by the time detective. Paul hart arrived on the scene. The single-story gray house with black shutters was awash in the manic blinking of police. Lights firefighters did not much to do. The fire was contained before it had spread out of family. Detective heart was more concerned with the basement. Where the dead body was at this point. He knew two things. There is a mutilated body of a woman in her late thirties. Presumably betty and sullivan. The woman in her son tommy boy fourteen was missing. He was sitting in quiet contemplation of this when his phone. Tell me sullivan. And it wasn't the news. He was hoping for the crime. Scene was across the street from the sullivan hall in the eastman's backyard and if the questions in his head weren't enough already there were about to be. Many many mr eastman had been smart enough or scared enough to stay away from the body. The crime scene was intact untouched. The snow surrounding the body was proof of that. Only one set of tracks led from the woods to the woodpile. Tommy had walked there alone. He picked vantage point from which he could see his front door where he could watch as the corner of removed his mother's body from the house. Then he sat down in the snow and one about the terrible business of killing himself. He had a small pocket knife that he got from the boy scouts a knife. He would now plunged deep into his left wrist. Only he didn't quite know what he was doing. The blades slid between the bones of his wrist severing tendon ligament but not rupturing enough blood vessels from to bleed out right away. He tried again and again but kept getting the same results in terrible pain. Probably close to passing out from shock and afraid that he'd be discovered before he actually finish the job. Tommy chose a more permanent solution with his remaining good hand. He plunged the small three inch blade into his neck just below his left ear. Similarly must've amounted to superhuman strengh dragged the blade across his neck until it reached his other. The depth of the cut was astonishing as was the amount of damage inflicted arteries muscles windpipe. Larynx off completely severed. There was an explosion of blood and gore in the weight of his head in the absence of the muscles of his neck nearly overcame the structural integrity of cervical spine. Has it was the result of the single slash of his blade. Left him with his right ear. Come to rest on the back of his right shoulder blade with his chin pointing straight into the sky. Detective heart knew immediately. That the blade and tommy's hand have forensic evidence confirming as the knife used to murder betty and sullivan. Thomas fingerprints would be found on the dumbbell in the sullivan residents. What he didn't know was how these wounds could be self inflicted any wonder any evidence would be found indicating that the death of this boy was anything other than a suicide questioning of family opened up many disturbing avenues of investigation for law enforcement satanic worship musical influence in the form of a heavy metal band concealed. "Spoilers. I'll include some clips from the movie to help you determine if this is the right movie for your kid. Also we'll look at how this movie was rated on common sense media dot org website. Now we have no affiliation with common sense media dot org. However i like to go there because it is a site where parents can share their views about a movie. So we'll let you understand what some of those views are with that. Let's jump into our look at spies in disguise. We did a full podcast on this in december of two thousand and nineteen. Today we're going to just look at why it got its rating. We didn't look at that in the initial podcast. A description of the movie from the twenty th century website is in this high flying animated comedy super spy lance sterling voiced by will smith and scientists. Walter beckett voiced by. Tom holland are exact. Opposites lances smooth swab debonair. Walter is none of the above but this unlikely duo must team up for the ultimate mission to save the world. It's an animated movie and animation has done very very well the soundtrack on this movie. I really like there. Are some parents on common sense media dot org who said they thought. It was too edgy. But i really liked it. The story starts off with a boy named walter. Who's having a discussion with his mother about being weird. In fact his mother helps him embrace his weirdness. And i love this message because it really hits home on the message that we can be different but we all have our strengths. I think they do that very well. In this movie. Walter's mother dies in this movie. Although you don't see it she's a police officer. Who dies in the line of duty. I kind of look at it like bambi and bambi mother. Ami's mother is but we don't really see it and bambi goes on walter. Goes on in this movie. The movie jumps to a scene with lansana mission. The scene has some henchmen and that will talk about later. This is a nice action. Cnn it sets up lance and walter end up together as a team when a device lance uses unexpectedly turns out to be one of walter's nonviolent devices lance goes to see walter to discuss the situation. Then the movie jumps to walter as a young adult who is a science geek. So they really play the geek part. Remember i said they. They play up his weirdness. In the beginning. I walter wants to stop crime and to do it using nonviolent means so he creates a lot of fun gadgets to make this happen gadgets are nonviolent yet. They're still effective at stopping crime to give you an idea. One gadget is called the inflatable hug. Another one's called kitty glitter. That gives you an idea the level of we're talking about here but they are effective and they are non violent means to solving a problem. Walters key gadget in this movie. However is a potion that turns a human into a pigeon lance the super spy accidentally drinks the potion and turns into the pigeon. The bulk of this movie is out. How the two of them salva caper with lances. A pigeon needing walters help. So why is this movie rated. Pg well it's rated pg by the mpaa for action violence and rude humor so for the violence. There's a bad guy in this movie. He blows some things up. There are a couple of fights but most of the rough stuff has handled offscreen. I saw this movie in the theater. And i ask kids for their reaction right in the movie was done and there was this very little child. He must have been five. That's a guest. Who said that. He really didn't like the movie because there was a bad guy in it but then the bad guy got caught so it was okay and he liked. I thought that was kind of interesting from when you're looking at age appropriateness for the movie other than that. I got very positive reactions from the kids for the language used in this movie there wasn't a whole lot to be worried about. However there was one use of the word crap. You can make your own determination on that one. There are also two or three uses of the word suck in terms of this is going to sock. Also there were a couple of hell. Yeah's and lance says shut up a few times that's it in terms of the language. There are three scenes that i would put into the rude humor department. The first is when after lands drinks the potion. He turns into a pigeon so he leaves us human forming shrinks down into a pigeon and as he starts shrinking. He looks down his pants and shorts. Hit can go to youtube and just look for the spies in disguise trailer. The second trailer actually has that clip in it. There's also a scene were an obese. Characters towel falls down in the. Afc is backside now. this guy's really fat. He's got lots of folders tattoos. It's an animation so it's not super super specific if you will now when i saw this in the movie theater. The kids laughed on it. They thought it was really funny. Here's a clip of it. If you're watching the video so you can take a look at it. If you're listening to the audio you can go to youtube. Search for spies in disguise cat sue. Kt su that's the name of the character catsuit camera again. All kids were laughing when they saw it. Take a look at it to see what you think. I'm common sense media dot org. This was probably the biggest issue parents had with the movie. The last rude humor if will is when lance transforms from a pigeon back to a human. He doesn't have any clothes on and so he's naked now. They don't show you anything you see from waist up. There were some parents who commented on it. Common sense media dot org gives this movie four stars and rates for ages eight plus the parents on the site average three stars and said it averaged to age ten plus the kids gave it four stars and say it's for ages eight plus common sense media also gives this movie their selection seal for families so i was kind of impressed with that. This is one of the spy movies for kids. I think apparent will actually enjoy watching some of them i. I'm not sure that you would so. The negative apparent reviews are focused on the nudity. Again take a look at the clips. You what you think. There's a very wide range here. And how parents took this and common sense media dot org there was one parent who rated this movie for ages eighteen plus because of the nudity. They actually called it pornographic yet another parent rated for ages five plus so. Take a look at the scenes here and make your own choice. What you think is the appropriateness for your child. This is spy movie. So there's the obligatory martini a champagne. Glass there's a scene where henchmen are doing shots so again depending on if that's an issue for you you know it's there so overall we think this was a very fun kind of a spoof on james bond mission impossible and that type of movie so thanks for helping us crack the code of this spy movie. We hope you enjoy this. And hopefully this was helpful for you and understanding the appropriateness of this movie for your child. Let me know if this was helpful. And if there are other movies you'd love to hear from you can leave us a message at info at spy. Movie navigator dot com. This podcast is also available as video on youtube channel. "Nice. Fast Coop. There in a Fiat five hundred or similar type of thing, this car that should not be doing this chase. There's no way that he should be able to keep up with the Jaguar they did have a little help from traffic. But I just love the use of the pedestrian car in both of these movies. It's like this car shouldn't be doing this and yet. They're out there trying to do it and it just it just. I just totally loved it. Yeah, the chase of course there. Victor Marquez is trying to get to the Naperville airport from their apartment and wicker park from the apartment in Wicker Park. Well, it's called the different. It's Callahan field. I think the signs. That's what they. Called it. Yeah, but Naperville like Dom said about thirty thirty five miles away from that area where they're located, and they're there and just minutes. "However in this movie, Sophie ends up on a balcony with an older woman and Sophie looks like she's got a glass of milk in her hand. In spy game Tom Brad Pitt's character ends up on a balcony and it looks like he's holding a cup of coffee and he's with an older gentleman. then. It gets a little weird because in spy gamers. Only one balcony in this one. Sophie's on another balcony with will looks like an Asian couple, and she's got a bowl of rice. She's got chopsticks. But, I thought it was weird that they added the second balcony because it wasn't part of the challenge, and it was almost like they fill the two ways and didn't know which one to go with. Movie Now I. Think I i. just think he actually actually. She appears on a third balcony, but we're not gonNA. Even we won't detail all the all the stuff. That's going on here, but I think the significance was that she's this. Nine year old kid who's got a ten minute challenge, and she showing I'll go choose. Not only. Do I don't need ten minutes to do this? I can do this multiple times so I think again. It was just another way to to get jj Jay gave her a break. He gave her ten minutes in spy. Game it a five minute challenge so right, but yeah, she didn't need ten so now. Jj, he's a tough guy. He looks like a tough guy. Right and he has a job to do so he does not want to be involved with personal things with taking care of Sophie or the Mom Kate and all that kind of stuff, but as you see the story unfolding in how again very much like the spy next door where the kids started off hating Bob Ho Jackie Chan. But eventually grow to love him. Along with their single mom, hear US see the battle of wits and non-involvement slowly moving in a different direction, and so you need to. Keep an eye on that to see what might possibly happen how it will end up. We'll leave it for you to watch and see all of that, but there are chase scenes of course, some explosions and fireworks of course, and some tender moments in. It's fun to see, and there are a few surprises along the way as well, and there's some other references nods if you will to earlier movies. So for those of you who saw? The extraterrestrial. You may remember. There's a scene in there when et is adding in a closet with all these stuffed toys. and Elliott's mom looks in the closet. New got all stuffed toys, and and et's hiding their look for something similar in this movie with Sophie's Mom Kate as soon as I saw that I scribbled in my notes, et phone home. I actually went. Last night just because I was like I got to see that scene again to remember. Is it exactly like I thought it was, and they definitely are doing a tip of the hat at that point to that movie, So then Bobby also mentioned a few times about things with different movie references and one of towards the end of the movie she quips. Is it just me or does this seem familiar I mean the propeller and the fuel tank. It's like all are missing is the Nazis. Given what's happening in this scene? This is obviously a reference back to raiders of the lost Ark. She doesn't say it, but. That references is for and then in one scene towards the end..

"This reminded me of course of Casino Royale two thousand six, when bond gets reviewed for killing the bombmaker Malacca in Madagascar instead of finding out about his network, and so on, so it was a similar kind of thing I mean. How many times did. In the bond, series Come along with something along the likes of it would be nice if you didn't kill everyone's who could actually question somebody that came up a couple of times in quantum as well now the other thing is we really good for me to see to see young play a non comedic role. He's one of those actors that I really like him I think he's a hilarious comedic actor, but it was great to see him play in this non comedic role and I think he did a really good job here. Yeah, I think he was. We'll see a doctor I think. He was a doctor in real life, wasn't he? I, don't I don't know. Yeah Anyway, I. For me I thought he was the one character that I. Thought was not well cast and. Even an odd guy to be running the CIA and looked too much to be a mild book learned kind of Guy As opposable. Kinda rough and tough CIA kind of guy, but I grew to like him a little throughout the movie and on the killing. Everybody thing. Yeah, we have that little connection with bond, but jj is anything like bond. His suits is. He's a big Guy I. I made a note of this, too. Because when you see him in that suit, this thing didn't already beginning. Yeah, it did. I mean he was definitely not wearing a Brioni Tom Ford turnball and Asir. Close in this one, it was like wow, who who did the WHO did. That where they're trying to make it look that way, or was it just a weird camera shot? Because it was like Whoa waddling like a duck to but again he's a big guy. He definitely not bond like in that regard eats at a Chinese takeout containers. He lives in a modest place. He's not sophisticated and worldly on the finer things in life kind of stuff. Oh, yeah, there were there was no Royal Beluga north of the. Like in on her, Majesty's Secret Service. Now you're not gonNA find that here, but is a killer and he's killed a lot of bad men..

"Another building they used in this and they use it a couple times. Is this red brick building? Sophie sketches it and if you read the sign, it says wicker park on it, and we already standard supposed to live as a wicker park in Chicago, but look if you look carefully like I did. It's actually the Winchester Street, Theater Company which is in Toronto Canada. They literally. If you. If you actually froze the frame on it, and you can actually see they put black. Like sign over some wording there and said wicker park, but the glass on the above the door gives it away. Yeah, yeah. There's a there's a number of these instances where there are supposedly in Chicago filming and L.. Every movie does this of course, but hey, we're from Chicago the movie supposed to Chicago. We want you to use Chicago for a lot. I mean there's. There's the ice skating rink to that. They go to which you know. We have a beautiful outdoor. Millennium Park outdoor ice, skating, Regan Chicago but. Did, they use that one. No, it looks like they went to. They were in Toronto and it looks like they use. I poke around on the Internet and I found one that looked exactly like the one. They used Mel Lastman Square Ice Rink in North York Ontario. So, there's the movies you know they can. Even the apartment building I think in the balcony scenes. You're GONNA see when you watch the movie. That's balcony scenes would sophie. You can find in Toronto that's where those buildings are. Take must have had some great tax breaks up in Toronto for them this up to mazing. How tax breaks make a different on how you feel things? Now, the establishing shots of the museum campus, as we said where we have the Field Museum of natural history, the Adler Planetarium and the shedd aquarium that mentioned earlier where I think they were running when they were jogging. Those are real shots, and so is the skyline which is shown a couple of times to grades ally in the film. Yeah, the aerial shot up downtown Chicago with Marina City. Those are the two big round buildings and we had a friend that used to have a condo there. It's their bazaar their pie shapes. Shape condos are the furnish, but the kind of cool and other movies have been filmed in with using marina city to, and it's all along the Chicago River. All those are real shots. Tho, those are great establishing shots, and there's also a long shot of downtown. Chicago shot from the southwest. which they kinda hint in the film is where Kate and Sophie live. Wicker Perkin now. We're wicker PARKAS. They live north and west of downtown. If they're really in wicker park so okay. Maybe we're being a little little picky here in sure. Yeah the night shot of the Chicago skyline is spectacular in the film and Chicago. Really is rated one of the best big city skylines in the United States and it really is from out on the water in Lake. Michigan if you're on a boat. Like Michigan one of the Great Lakes the largest body of freshwater in the world. The skyline is stunning. It's beautiful. If you ever visit Chicago taking nighttime boat ride, it's just spectacular jets. And in the pre title sequence, it's it all starts off. Jj is in. Yet. I think that's how you pronounce it in the Ukraine. You the heard words. You're about it. It's a sure noble nuclear power plant reactor number three of which is abandoned, so it says all that the deal is supposed to go down here to get the plutonium in exchange for diamonds. ooh, beautiful diamonds so jj an undercover guy. Acting as an international weapon's dealer is trying to find out what all these guys know..

"Think it's probably Toronto so that that's I. Don't think Chicago Anyway we're. GonNa we're GONNA have to go over there and investigate that see. Which one? Like when they're shocked Gago. Yeah, it makes it easy. We try to figure that out. All right first of all. My spy is an entertaining picture and we would recommend seeing it. It's definitely a family movie though it is rated. PG Thirteen, probably because there are a few words in the dialogue not much, but there there are some words in there that may push to pg thirteen, but there is violence killings and talk of killing bad guys. One thing I do like is there's killings, but there's not a lot of blood. which is. A Nice Yeah. You don't see a lot of BLIGH's nine. It's not that kind of a yeah. One got one guy dies at the end. He gets shot and you see his head. Jerk Beck, but there's no blood at all there are there are some keywords late. You said that are in here and some of it by JJ, but also the music and we'll. We'll talk a little bit more about the music in a little while, but the music plays especially the song on the ending credits. Yes, yes, has some words in there that probably helped. Get this at the PG thirteen. Yeah, of course we immediately see the contrast between the heavily tattooed, gruff, rough and gigantic Dave Batista. Who Played of course here? He's playing JJ. Entrusted with the diminutive Sophie played excellently by Khloe Coleman the contrast are not only in size, but the entire film pits one against the other as. A more sophisticated level one of wits. And Sophie is very bright and very clever, and many times will outwit Jj Yeah I. Don't think Jj comes off as very. Bright and clever. Give them a break here. Anyway. The Fun Element that runs throughout the film, and so you mix in a sprinkler to of unlikely heroes, and you have a recipe that that is entertaining. I actually think that they make Jj seem a little dumb to me, which does elevate sophie's how she comes across from a perspective, but then she says something in French. Just kind of as an off on it, and JJ response to or in French, and she's really surprised by that. Maybe he's not really stupid. Maybe it's more. He socially awkward which in when we're looking at this from a spy movie. He's the spy totally opposite from bond well again I. They lived in Paris in France before her mom. Kate an her and before they moved to Chicago so she knows French. You know some French apparently, but on JJ's part. Yeah, okay, he's not. He's not an Oxford guy but. He's a tough military guy who knows his business, but I don't think he's stupid I. Think he has worldly experience is he explained at one point while when he's talking about, he's killed bad guys all over the world, but yeah he's no bond on Polish infamous and.

This movie was delayed. Multiple Times in our article and discussion of the upcoming movies of twenty twenty. My spy was supposed to be released in January. In reality was actually supposed to be released in twenty nineteen. They pushed it from January. And then we got cove nineteen, and they had to push it again, and they finally decided to release it on Amazon Prime, so we're GonNa do this podcast as a quickfire release. What this means is. Is We're going to release it very shortly after the movie releases its not likely to be included in the best of the rest category of our website, and we won't go as indepth as we do on our other podcasts. That's the goal of the quickfire. Get it out quickly after the release that said this movie is fine. It's not Goldfinger by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a nice story has a PG thirteen rating. Rating and it does deserve that rating. Why spies a spy comedy about a CIA operative Jj who's in charge of a big mission to prevent terrorists from getting the technology plans and needed materials to build a miniaturized nuke, starting off in Russia with the contacts on the Russian side and the other terrorists who have developed technology, JJ's and undercover agent acting as an international dealer, seemingly part of the plan to get the information needed to build. Build the bomb. This terrorist assigned is the one who wants the plutonium, and there's another guy as our, so these guys are the ones who are key here. There is a connection somehow, and it will become apparent between what is happening here in Russia and woman in Chicago named Kate who has a daughter, exceptionally bright and artistic and sophisticated. Ha, ha, that's a little joke, because her daughter is named Sophie now. I get sophisticated self. A Lhasa fee. The Word is love love wisdom from the Latin so. That's our little joke on that. It comes out.

"Those acute line right now. The the line that I in again there were a bunch of little fund lines in here is, but there's a scene where the principal is chastising Ian. and. He has a reputation for lying a lot, and she she she tells him he lies a lot, and he says no I. Don't and she says you told everyone. You spent New Year's Eve at the playboy mansion. which in responded? Hey, hi, Def pay per view. I felt like I, was there. Yeah, it's a good ones, and he delivers perfectly. Yeah, anyway. "Arc actually says the Tatyana. WHO's the female Russian spy? I said it would be bad if the Chinese or the CA got this, but he's Paul. Like. Funny Line, but he's both go on. And his face is good with the does a good job with his facial expressions when he said light. Now, let's see we have a Russian spy named Tatiana. That's unusual. Maybe maybe that came from Russia with love. Is a lot of connections here. Yes, anyway, the Russians know the file was downloaded to an external device. Yeah, so they can't find. A device can't find what. Where the file is because it's not on. I. It was just computer. I don't know why it's not there now, but well. That's what I was saying. I didn't yeah. He removed it. Maybe I don't know anyway. They eventually see Bob next door at Julia's house decorating for Halloween and.

"Key Russian Guy Anton poll dark. Is there a fight ensues? And Bob Ho uses his watch to guide him Annabel's. He has which I think is pretty cool that he whips off and it turns into this metal Rod. That's pretty cool. It's regular belt and he kind of looks like A. Kind of make all of a sudden. It makes an appearance lives in the film. It's fun every time he does. It I think that's pretty cool, so it turns into this and his martial arts abilities are terrific, and it gets better of most of the Russian spies, but the head guy poll dark. He's got a chase now. Well, you have to have chase scenes. Inspire me, yeah, and this is a running chasing which again. This is our third point. We'd like to make in terms of how this refers to other movies. Is Bob. Who is chasing, pull dark. He's jumping. He's twirling. He's flipping over obstacle after obstacle, demonstrating skills in free running or our core that was a big part of bonds, chase by foot in the beginning of the two thousand and six Casino Royale movie as bond is pursuing the villain played by. Can in Madagascar. Now this guy is the guy who co invented free running, which is basically interacting with various obstacles and the environment around you, which includes jumping flipping whatever it takes the quickly get around or through those obstacles, and here we see it again in two thousand ten four years later in the spine x door. I will say the one in Bonn was a little more intense, but this still is pretty cool. Definitely intense, the wanted bond and longer it was longer action seen. This is a shorter scene, but Again the same kind of thing. Of course the Russian team gets captured as a result of Bob hose efforts good spy that he is and the CIA team shows up. Arrest them all nice. Whole wants to retiring. Get married. We've heard that before. Yeah, so spy! Who? This is her a spy? Harass retire so this was going to be his last mission. Yeah turns in equipment and glazed tells how keep the watch. Compliments of the CIA now this guy glazes is like. A big guys at the CIA. So he's he's one of the head, guys there if they don't really say what title, but now he's, he's the boss. If if you will, but he does make the watch gut, keep the watch and this is going to be really important later on. But during the transport of the prisoner pulled arc, his team hits the Transport van and pulled our gets away. Wait a minute. His team hits a wait a minute transport man, right bond fans think for a moment. What bond movie of We seen the same thing where they're poll there in a caravan driving off with the villain and the transport van that the villain is in gets hit. So they can have him escape. Sounds pretty familiar to me. Let's think back to nineteen eighty nine and Timothy Dalton in licensed to kill when France Sanchez escapes during the transport on a seven Mile Bridge in the Florida.

"Displays of pens, etc, it really Kinda foreshadows the gadget room in Kingsman, which won't be released until two thousand fourteen, so yeah, or in the two thousand, nine hundred and wonderful film Charlie's. Charlie's angels yeah. Oh, yeah, Charlie's angels would definitely got that from kingsman, or maybe they got it from here from the spy next door. That's possible, but I really love how the character Bob and Colton who's played by billy ray Cyrus just grabbed the stuff off the shelves they want. The shells are sitting there and they just hurt grabbing stop. Yeah, yeah, not exactly like using a on bring this stuff back. Bond in good condition. Pay Attention 007. Grab what you need. So Bob's on this mission to find this Russian agent who is up to no good of course he does. A variety of missions ends up having the Babysit for Jillions kids for several days as her dad must have hip surgery out of town, and one of the kids downloads a file from Bob host. The the premise on that though is not just said he has to babysit these kids. The kids don't like them. The kids don't like Bob Hope. And now he's GonNa be safe. Because, we said he thinks he's a nerd and everything else. Yeah, so what are the kids downloads a file from Bob Hose computer that he thinks is a rock concert file, but it really contains a file intercepted by the CIA from the Russian spies, which has the formula for some liquid agent that when activated on oil, we'll turn the oil into powder, so the bacteria thing up the oil right eats up the oil, and so the Russians plan to control the oil supplies in the world with this agent. So the rest of the film is the right. Another group of people trying to control the oil supply. Yeah, Hey, this is kind of cool. The rest of the film is. Russian agency trying to track down the file and then they WANNA. Kill all those who know about it in the meantime Jillian is out of town. The kids are now at risk. Because the Russians traced the the download to Bob Hose House who the Russians know now is a Chinese agent working for the CIA kind of like everyone knows who bond. Yeah I know who he is due, and now the fun begins. There's also a mole on the CIA team that must be discovered, and we see how Ho- tries to protect the children from the Russians so there you go no a mole spinal. Go figure. That's unique evacuate. After a lot of comical scenes and very tough fighting scenes, things seem to work out the movies. I WanNa go, I WANNA go back in the fighting scenes again because we. We mentioned that this is for the family. If you've got real little kids, who might get a little freaked out with the martial art stuff. There's not lots of blood or anything, but no, there's there's fighting so would just pointed out. It is PG. Not Not G. Movie is a fun Kid spy comedy movie, though nonetheless in that it has some great choreographed martial arts scenes with lots of again very high tech, cool spy gadgets, and there's one movie does with the ladder. That's pretty cool, yeah, the underlying theme of of the Kids Not Liking Bob Ho. Is there all the time even though he might marry Jillian? And you see how they grow to like him and how Jillian finds out..

"For joining us on our show cracking the code of spy movies his today. We look at the fun family spy movie the spy next door first we'd like to give a big shoutout to Pierce Brosnan who on April, nineteenth through esquire UK gave us video walkthrough presentation of golden eye from his home in Hawaii we watched as he made comments about the movie and answered questions on any of his bond filming experiences. We enjoyed the walkthrough purist and really appreciate it, Bravo. That was really fun. You'd think about sitting there for two and a half hours. We just the Mike. They're trying to figure out what to say to comment on. But to hear his stories about how things happened in the past, it was fun. So today we're going to look at the spy next door. If you listen to our previous podcast, this one's going to be a little bit of a diversion. What we've done to date for most of our podcast we focus on bond mission impossible best to the rest or discussed the movie within the within days of its US release, and what we've called quickfire podcast. Today we're GONNA adapt the quickfire podcast with the movie. The spy next door. We've decided with the corona virus stuff going on to look at some lighthearted or maybe lesser known spy movies to broaden everyone's spy movie awareness. So when our quick fires, we don't tend to go into as much step as we do. In some other podcasts who want to give you a taste of some other spy movies that you may not have seen while still talking about their influences with other spy movies in the real world. A bonus on this movie is rated PG and written for a family that said there's a little bit of fighting. Because this is Jackie Chan movie after all year before we get. Get into the story. One thing we should point out is what this isn't with the name, the spy next door. It's not about the real story about the deep cover Russian. Agents who assimilated themselves into American lives for years living here as real families waiting to be told to come out and do something and i. only point this out because that was a real real world thing that happened, and if you've seen the spy wars with Damian Lewis, it's here in. In the US, it's being shown on Smithsonian Channel. It was in the UK I. Don't know what channel last year and there was an episode called the spies next door that was on this topic of these these people assimilating themselves, or if you saw the fx series, the Americans, which is a phenomenal series. It was about that story as well so just WANNA point out that this is about a totally different type of movie..
