"Well before coexist is important part of the learning process for all of us. I think he's right. I think you have to be cautious. I think you have to be careful. And I think I daren't think it's it's scary. I mean, you know, we saw in baseball, but you and I talked about this with, um Starting pitcher on the Red Sox and water. Rodriguez, who opted out after contracting covert, and he had my card itis, and now we find out a lot. These big 10 players and you know this is what makes this so terrifying is that we've known about this disease for, you know, 567 months now, and we're still learning Maura about it every day. So yet you have to be cautious and you have to take note. You have to be concerned. And he more than anybody, right. He's he's in charge of a of a A the biggest football conference in the world in collegiate athletics. Is Greg. Thank you. If you think about The risk reward here. I don't know that I can remember it in college sports as much air as great of an issue as it is right now, if he says in the league in general says, we're not worried about everything Do we're going? Let's go right and it plays out beautifully. And yes, you're going to get some positives, but there's really no serious concern with any of the players in particular. Certainly nobody loses a life. You know, all of a sudden, you know everybody and eventually recovers and they've played a season And maybe they've only gone to crown an SEC champ because you can't really do a national champion. Whatever it may be if you got leagues dropping out How about that roar? We did it. Look, we did it. We did it, right? Yes, We had some people get sick, but everybody's okay now. But if you have so much as one student athlete pass away because of Kobe It comes on you and it comes on you directly because you're the one that said, Let's go play. That's how careful he is being that's how careful there being that's how careful they need to be. The risk reward dynamic is enormous. The gap there and a ce faras the mile card itis. I, unfortunately too much about myocarditis. Because nine years ago tomorrow, my wife and I had a baby boy who was born healthy. But in his first days of life, he caught a virus. It was an enterovirus, and it caused myocarditis. He didn't make it, okay. He didn't make it. It isn't just covert that can cause myocarditis. Now I know a baby is different than a grown man. But Enterovirus. The flu can cause myocarditis. It could be caused by any number of things. It's not just Cove it, but any time you start talking about heart concerns that is a complete Game changer in terms of every conversation, and he knows that That's the thing because once you make this decision, like we saw that major league baseball, you can't just shut down the lead on the first sign of a outbreak, being on a on a university campus or or on a team and what happens if a team that's scheduled to play you'll has an outbreak of 10 players and you have to quarantine you Miss games. How do you make up games? So many different things that you can learn from the rest of these league as we're witnessing with the Marlins, and we win is with the Cardinals. Like what do you do when they when somebody gets the virus because we know somebody's going to get it. What do we do when we have multiple cases? You know, how do you reschedule games? You know, you talk about football. Football's a weekly thing. That's a good thing. It's not an everyday thing. So you, Khun Maybe miss game or so I'll be able to come back, but you have to have. I think you have to create flexibility within your schedule to be able to be fluid to be able to have a bye week to be able to say, Okay, we're going to cancel this game. We're going to make it up here. You know, there's a lot of work to be done by these leagues and his team's individually. And I don't doubt their ability to do it. You know that. That's the easy part. Right? Right now They're in the hard part. They'll figure out a way to schedule. Again. They've got a lot of really good, smart people in these offices. They'll figure out a way to schedule if they've got like no rule that we've known forever just because it's always been the case doesn't mean it's going to be the case anymore, Right? Topiramate and Adderall Reduce Cocaine Use
"We often say that single positive studies need replication and here comes one in two thousand, twelve randomized trial found that the combination of toe. Pyramid and adderall ex SAR worked better than placebo at helping people with frequent cocaine. You stay sober. This new study sought to replicate that although it was by the same research group is the original one Columbia's New York state psychiatric. Institute. The. New Edition is a larger study that looked at one hundred and twenty seven patients over three months. It was a double blind randomized placebo controlled trial that tested the combination of adderall Exeter with. Toe Pyramid, likely earlier study the treatment worked on primary measure. How many patients stayed sober for at least three weeks none achieved that on the placebo but fourteen percent did on the treatment. They were careful and conservative cardiovascular measures, and actually one in five patients had to stop the treatment due to elevated blood pressure pulse during the study. Otherwise, the treatment was well tolerated, which begs the question why not just use toe, pyramid on its own Toe Pyramid does have promising pilot studies on its own for cocaine use as does adderall on its own though that particular adderall study was in people with Adhd who used cocaine but clinically. Less risky of the to pyramid before considering the combination and it would be nice to see a study with three arms that could test out whether Toe pyramid alone is just as effective as the combination in this study. Toe. Pyramid was tight traded over six weeks to a maximum of one hundred milligrams twice a day an adderall ex SAR was titrate over two weeks to a Max of sixty milligrams per day. The authors suggested that the cardiovascular risks might have been lessened if adderall was tight traded more slowly.

Borderline Personality Disorder: Listen with Care
"Dot Oregan. Dialectical behavior therapy dbt has become the gold standard for borderline personality disorder and studies are starting to go head to head with dbt and clinical trials. Reviewed one that fared well good. Psychiatric management in our summer issue and a new one just came out of Australia a study by Carlo Watson and colleagues from the University of Newcastle. It tested conversational therapy, which uses careful listening and the therapeutic relationship as the fulcrum of change. Over fourteen months one, hundred, sixty, two patients with borderline personality disorder were randomized dbt or conversational therapy both therapies are twice a week. Conversational involves two one on one sessions and DBT and individual in a group session both therapies were equally effective thing that matters most and borderline personality self injury. DBT had a greater effect on depression possibly because it employs more behavior activation than conversational therapy does both therapies had similar effects on core symptoms of borderline. So what is this conversational therapy that fared? Pretty decently against dbt it's sometimes called psycho dynamic interpersonal therapy. The therapist listens empathic lead to the patient reflecting back what they here with statements rather than questions and mutual I. WE language the goal is to help the patient develop a coherent narrative and a healthy sense of self and to look for Moshe Misunderstandings in the room and repair them as they happen. So the patient can learn from their relationship with the therapist and apply what they've learned to patterns in relationships in their own life. Conversational therapy was developed by psychiatrist. Robert Hudson and Russell Mir's and Mir's wrote a guide to it in two thousand twelve. The bottom line tried and true methods of psychotherapy like careful empathic listening and actively

SEC Probing Kodak Loan Disclosure, Stock Surge
"The Securities and Exchange Commission is reportedly investigating Kodak's lucrative deal to help the U. S. Government make more generic drugs. White House correspondent Greg Clugston reports. Kodak stock Price surged last week before the company announced its plans to work with the Trump Administration in exchange for a $765 million loan that prompted Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren to ask the SEC to investigate. SEC Investigates Kodak's Federal Loan, Stock Surge
"Last week, Kodak announced, it had secured a seven hundred, sixty five, million dollar loan from the Federal Government under the Defense Production Act to shift gears for making photo supplies to drug ingredients. Now, we've learned that the Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating the deal joining me now with more details is Wall Street Journal reporter Dave, Michaels? So Dave Codex shares surged after news about this loan broke, and that got the attention of the Securities and Exchange Commission. What can you tell us about what they're now looking into? Well, we understand that the SEC has opened up. An investigation they're looking at trading in the shares just before the loan announcement was officially made, and then also how the in the news about the loan was communicated to the wider market. Why is that potentially a problem that Kodak had shared news of this deal with some media outlets before making this public wouldn't be a violation of criminal law, but but it could be a violation of the regulations that apply to public companies, which they can be straightforward. They can also beat her technical, but suffice it to say that public companies have to have a lot of rigor around how they communicate. Information, that is information that is going to influence investors decisions about whether to buy a seller, hold on a shares and if the company released information. About the control loan before the initial announcement in released in a way that was. Haphazard or not well thought through and then that information. Leaked down in some form or fashion to the wide broader market people traded on it than that could be a problem for Kodak as a public company just in terms of their responsibilities in terms of how they're supposed to control the flow of material information. So what are some of the questions still surrounding this deal that our team is looking into right now including this question about the disclosure in the communication? Of the loan, we're still looking into the loan itself in Kodak is saying that. Alone details are not fully finalized and yet the announcement was made last week that it was going to be getting seven, hundred, sixty, five, million dollar loan. So announcing net to the broader market, ensure holders developed certain expectations about how that's going to change. Kodak's business. But the loan is in guaranteed is not finalized. Query whether whether it was appropriate to make make that announcement at the time. We're also looking into continue to look into some of the equity options grants that were made to executives directors in the day before the day, just before the official announcement was made. So Dave, what are the potential outcomes from an SEC investigation of this sort? What can we see come out of this and when? You know we understand this is Very early days of this, I mean after all the announcement was just made last week, so it could take. Months to learn anything from either the company or potentially in the SEC. If actually brought any sort of official claims against the company. So we won't. We won't know anytime soon, and also it's also not clear that this would result in in a in former allegations of wrongdoing SEC opens up investigations all the time they ask questions, they do the dig into something, they take testimony and they might decide you know, hey, this, this was a little weird wasn't perfect way went down, but there's not a clear regulatory violation. Yourself is just something that I think people who are interested in Kodak Interested in in this story would just have to stay tuned.
The Rules of Insider Trading
"Everybody listens to. BILLTOWN. Daniel town. Up to the PODCAST. We are here to teach and learn about. Investing. Mostly. Ler. Mostly. Teach. Although I have to say. I always seen in my life that you learn I learned the most when I teach something. You certainly, I've learned on this podcast that you certainly learn. where the holes are where you've sort of. Lightly. You know treated lightly intellectually that you've sort of breezed through some major point and you've been amazing it kind of poking. The holes out and saying here. And I. Don't understand this and this doesn't make sense and so on. So that I've learned a lot actually on this podcast. About how to teach it maybe. That's Nice I wasn't trying to poke holes. I was just trying to understand what's the best the best rationale for poking holes trying to understand. So we're wrapping up something here. What are we wrapping up? The management of the business were understanding the management of the business? As one of our major checklist items and we've covered. The fact that management is is good if the company has little or no debt Rico, his high again smaller R. E is high nuggets smaller. It's got low maintenance capital expenditures. Free cash flow is a big chunk of earnings. Owner earnings is a big chunk of earnings. CEO's experienced. Got A great track record. Believe they have integrity pay is reasonable based on long-term success so they're on the same side of the table is us which we talked. About. Is. Somewhat. problematic. Super Interesting. Last thing is that management is buying their stock. which is wait a second. Okay. I write each one down. And I make a little check box because it's a checklist. Say it again. The whole thing? No. Just in the newest one Lewis one the last one. Number management is buying their stock. Is. Buying their staw. That means insider trading. We'll show that the management team is reporting that they're buying their own stock out in the market and pain real money. Okay so you set a couple of things there. One is they're buying it off. The market rate public market. So. What you're talking about there is that when somebody who's an insider like an executive is they have to report to the SEC in the US is how it works. They have to report to the SEC that they have bought the stock of their company and the se then puts it out publicly so that we all know what's going on and if they sell, they have to do the same thing. So we just know kind of like what's happening Rather, quickly to forty eight S. yeah. And they have to tell us what price they paid for it. How many shares they bought? True. It's quite. Quite comprehensive and we get to see. that. All important information why is that important? because. They only buy their stock for one reason. and. That's because it's GONNA go up. There's a lot of reasons why somebody might sell a stock who's in a management position But if it's a significant purchase, we'll talk about that in a second. There's only one reason that management make significant purchases of their own stock at market prices through the public market, and that is because that is going up in their opinion doesn't mean they're right. All the time, but it is a heck of a great signal. That something good is in the works you may not see in the numbers. But these guys are the on the very inside and it's not illegal for them to do that. That's. Think. Really astonishes some people. because. Obviously, management knows things that have not been disclosed to the to the. Public. And yet they can buy their own stock based on that inside information. When if they told me if if somebody from Armada Hoffler for example, which is like a family owned company largely public company, but our family owns a big chunk of it. If. If someone on the inside of that company told me something. About the company that had not been released to the public and I went and bought the stock. I go to jail. Go to jail. That's what they got. Martha. What's her name? Martha Stewart Mother Stewart. Martha. Stewart. They didn't actually get it for inside trading I. Think they could. They got her for lying about it. Yeah, and she went and did jail time. So this is a really interesting loophole in the law for insider trading, and that is a management team absolutely combined their own stock without disclosing this new information to the public. As long as they. File with the SEC within forty eight hours that they bought the stock. So this is important information because it's kind of the equivalent. Of going public with some new information.

Greg Sankey: Football season to kickoff on September 26 to allow universities to focus on healthy return of campus communities
"Lied to welcome the Commissioner of the Southeastern Conference Greg Thank you to the Program Commissioner. Thank you every time I talked to you. You've just gone through a very. Long Day of meetings, we're thankful that you're on and the hallways well. Well it is a you've described aptly the. Long processes and we're simply in this very unique experience and. we're ready to start though in that I think good to provide some context and the destination that people can look forward to. And I'm sensing you know a lot more I'm sensing this decision came as a as a result of safety precautions and concerns can can you explain why September twenty six well a lot. Then it begins with we wanted to set a start date and that's really the point of emphasis in its follows are returned to campus. And over the last two weeks of August we're GONNA have tens of thousands of people back on our campuses and our locales We're going to be reengaging in education. It will be different is we live in this cove environment and we need to make sure that happens and happens well, in our athletics programs operate in the context of our universities despite what some may right from time to time That is absolutely our reality and this decision is a recognition of that reality wanting to make sure we we welcome people back that whatever learning and change has to happen around our campuses takes place in a great way, and that will allow us to play the football season. Commissioner as you wait. To September twenty six what are the the key? The key data points the key. Entry points however, you would like to describe them that you will be focusing in on aside from the student part of the play. We've been paying attention to ten formation. I've always been careful as I talk about data because they never want somebody to say well, they're looking only at that. It's it's really a broad array. And a piece of it has been our student athletes have adapted and our teams have adapted to this environment and recognition that Kovic going to go away and so the ability to support a healthy environment is absolutely the priority and and one of the mantra shared. It was actually on the president's call was to go slow so we can go fast so we can can ramp up and take time to play. We have looked at you know the public health information that that really anyone can access in our communities and our region and I've been with you before. generated a bit of stir on on another. Network show on a Saturday morning that you know these trends have not been positive and and we're still listening to our medical taskforce who just looked at it and say we can slow down want to give ourselves a chance to play football the adjustment to conference only is about we've been playing college football in this country for one hundred and fifty consecutive years. We celebrated that last year well over eighty five years of crowning champions in the SEC and we WANNA make sure able to do that and There are parts of it that we regret but it drove our decision to to have teams compete for a championship this year to the greatest extent. Possible. This season was scheduled to begin the SEC I should say on September fifth. Would you have been comfortable starting on that date? Right. Now, to say that things are going to be significantly better There was discomfort comfort for me discomfort from a number of our programs not universal. This is an act of bringing people together Paul. It's one of those times where you're in my friend, Mike Live was great at that and and I'm grateful for those learning experiences because we've had to come together and make some really difficult decisions and and the reality is for the last. Four months we've been in this hard decision making mode really as you references I joined. And I think as we look for, we can get it through Kinda. What's happening in the public health domain We we need to see improvement we need people to stay healthy. We need these testing po positive testing rates, go down We're not going to eliminate Kobe, but we can address the public health issues to allow our young people to be educated in to allow our young or young student athletes, beaten football and other fall sports is our desire.
SEC to play 10-game, conference-only football schedule in 2020
"The SEC, making it official, they will begin the season on September twenty six they will play in conference games every school will likely add. Their next to rotation school. So let's We can take a look at what that means. In terms of everyone's opponent. Alabama will add I. Believe. This is correct. Again, this is not a well, let me check the official announcement and may be in there but they they will add Florida and Vanderbilt. Okay It is not in their correct. Okay. This this is speculation. Let me make it clear. This is not the. But we're speculating Alabama will add game at Florida and Vanderbilt Arkansas at. And a trip to South Carolina Auburn will home game against South Carolina, road game at Mizzou, Lsu, UK, and Tennessee Mississippi State Vanderbilt in. Uga. Tentative Ole Miss Tennessee in UK. Missouri and Florida. On the other side Florida adding Alabama and am, will you talk about some major till two if we get that for Arkansas and Mississippi State on Georgia's schedule? That's a significant break Kentucky. LSU and Mississippi. Missouri an Auburn. South. Carolina Auburn in Arkansas Tennessee, Mississippi state and Lsu and excuse me. Mississippi. And LSU and. Much. Sure. That game is I think that game could be a Knoxville lane kiffin in. KNOXVILLE. Again as a head co as first time as a head coach and other than Tennessee and Tennessee Lsu and. Vanderbilt Mississippi State Alabama. So again, the official announcement is out, we will talk to the commissioner in a few minutes. This. I'll just read you the commissioner's comments, and again, we will talk to him shortly after careful consideration of the public health indicators in our region. Following advice of our medical advisers we have determined that this is the best course of
SEC moves to conference-only football schedule with Sept. 26 start
"Is he sees moving a conference? Only 2020 schedule. 10 game conference SEC schedule. We expected that right, Abdullah. He's the king of all things. College football. Yes, we did. And what's interesting about them is the sea has set the start date for like the last week in September. I think it's a 26 is what that said. That is CORRECT. Started the season September 26. That's the latest of all the conferences.

"Our SEC what changed corrected it I mean it got real overnight flown here seven hundred WLW of course the corona virus first and foremost here were at a higher alert level this morning after a crazy day yesterday and especially crazy evening last night the corona virus pandemic hitting home earlier in the day we knew there was a fourth case but we learned it was a case of community spread and what that means is this guy north got it without a direct contact with someone who is known to have covert nineteen or even traveled further I had no idea how he picked the virus up and yet he has it so that kind of change things markedly and then in quick succession as the president spoke last night announcing that traveled from most of Europe outside the U. K. has been suspended opening day Saint Patty's day parade cancel the N. B. C. N. B. A. season was suspended there's no fans allowed at high school tournaments college chairman in March madness is well now governor to line declaring a state of emergency mayor Cranley did it as well and that now all health professionals in Cincinnati are on the highest alert possible and one of those include Dr Lakshmi Sammarco who is the head of the county coroner Dr morning how are you good morning are we prepared as a country but more specifically as a county for this you know we've never seen this in our lifetime right this is a pandemic of proportions we haven't seen that happen you're really be prepared but that being said I think that we're in a good position I think these early actions put is in a much better position than just sort of sitting there saying well let's just see how it goes because the ending the mass gathering is going to prevent in a huge explosion of cases like we've seen in Italy we time China wary yeah I think that if the had been worried about it a couple of weeks or three weeks before and just said Hey no map gatherings maybe the outcome would have been different but you know either lessons are learned and I are community leaders are learning them and taking appropriate action and I totally support what governor no one is doing I think that is you know I I realize there's going to be huge economic impact that you know my concern is the human impact and that's what we're trying to lessons yeah and that makes sense I think this would be a great question for you because a someone is on the front line of this is all it is the fact that we have a severe PPHS personal protective equipment shortage things like masks and gowns and that the average person is buying this stuff up that's got to be concerned for health care professionals because if healthy people are buying and holding on importing that stuff and I get why they would do that but if they're doing that that means those people who are at the most risk for contracting this or spreading this aren't going to have the equipment they need well I mean it is a good point in this is kind of why I made the comment I did yesterday but first of all is the average person is buying masks do they even know how to use up to name their whiny should use the mark who should use them I mean I think the CDC has been pretty clear in saying if you're sick or you think you're sick and you don't want to contaminate people around you wear a mask there are a lot of people that are wearing masks trying to prevent themselves from getting sick from other people but unless you're within three succeeded somebody coughing and sneezing that math is not going to help you from getting sick if you continue to touch your face with contaminated hands dancing in the touch that mask from the outside with their hands and then touch your face the protection of the map so you know insurances are you gonna be mass with the mass because their damn I mean I I use it when I'm standing or what you know to run it and they're uncomfortable yeah and and that makes people think it the trees it's uncomfortable so you know you can do it unconsciously just grabbed the mask and try and reject it so and the you know the people that are they really need and the people in the trenches the people in the health care workers at hospitals and hospitals will get them I mean they have to be creative looking for suppliers sometimes because it's not as maybe their main suppliers out may have to look for other suppliers but the state of emergency also makes it easier for government institutions to be able to purchase those kind of things without having to go through a bidding process so it makes that a little bit easier but in the end you know you want your health care workers to be protected because if they're not in the hospital waiting for you when you get sick going to be there what is your role doctor smarts America in in what's happening right now because it is I understand it if someone dies because a corona virus it's not like you're going to perform an autopsy because I guess that would be a natural cause are you a consultant on there what what's your role and I want you know most people think oh my gosh pork elektrische markers to be busy as hell and and that may not be the case is going to be another things right is it what's your role models you're absolutely right coronavirus staff are considered natural death and so they would not be corner cases however we are all part of the learning from that and learning from disease and trying to assess and prevent death so I think that the coroner's offices around the state have a crucial role in epidemiology and recognizing the severity of some diseases and where we're not what we're doing is not working and I think that's where we come in for me personally looking at my community I'm trying to see what I can do to bring people together to to learn and also to approach this as a team I think every hospital system needs to be at the table with the insurer and the county health leaders and say what we need to come together and come up with a plan one plan and that we can all you know an act and we all help each other and in any way shape and form and there's none of this well that's that hospitals within this hospital system that's not part of our network that's not part of it now I mean this whole thing of in network out of network that does not apply to a pandemic and that's the message that you know I'd really love to see the insurance companies in our area step up to the plate and say we're going to do what it takes right right I think that's going to be the case you know we often bemoaning you know yeah I know you're running for re election I think you're on oppose your gear slam dunk but but it's a political season everyone's at it as a stress I I think that this takes that edge off because these are the worst times politically in my lifetime when people at each other's throats and now the sun we have a common enemy here much like nine eleven and what we know it's changes of lease and a brief in the short term what we're about and now we're starting to see hopefully going to start to see Republicans and Democrats work together in this well I think I think you will I hope you will it's this is never been a political you know eight years in this office I have never seen this as a politically real charge office or what we do to be political and I then I still maintain that this is nothing to do with it but you know what can we do to save as many lives as possible and to prevent the disease from spreading so you know all of these actions stopping the the major get together is you know Hey I'm a huge red pants and I've been at those opening day parade I've been in the parade I've been at the opening day games and it's very disappointing to me as well as you know hundreds of thousands of other people right the first trading lines first and if that means that we put aside a hundred year old tradition that we do and and you know right now we have to concentrate on the vulnerable populations and each other I'm trying to keep each other safe and do what we can for not just our families for our community and for those that can't take care of themselves and you know we we have a lot of elderly people in our communities and we have to do our absolute damnedest date trying to keep them safe and not exposed yeah I agree and I think along those lines to the elderly is also the the homeless in jail population because I mean you could imagine it if we have a case of coronavirus actively working inside the hamlet county jail let's say okay that is going to spread literally like wild flower throughout the jail anses among the homeless population I would think as well how do we protect the that that that segment of society you know we are we we had this discussion yesterday actually the homeless population are in shelters and I knew and some of them don't go to shelters they need to be able to access them sanitary area and so they need to be able to get to sink wash our hands in water and do the best they can not to huddle in tight spaces with a lot of other people because they're really going to spread the disease and in shelters that's a very difficult thing not to do and you know there's going to be a shortage of shelter volunteers and you know I have a real concern that some of the shelters are going to be able to stay open and that presents a huge problem so I know that other states have looked into doing portable testing I know that other countries have had national like tents set up of the word triage and and for testing and when it comes down to it it's not something that's remote you know it's it's there in our minds and if we have to do what we have to do it and I I I get that but the problem is this right is it's not like well the homeless or people in jail and I think if people don't well who cares about people in jail what about you know what about people who didn't break the law well the problem is if it gets in the jails we have all sorts of people everything is working in the jails are now that spreads disease so it's not just you you gotta love the most vulnerable populations because that's gonna affect the rest of us yeah actually here yeah your available as the most vulnerable person in your community right because we talk about the rate limiting step or the the least common denominator however you whatever you wanna call it it's still one person they can spread the disease to thousands of people and and that happened in other communities and so that's what we need to.

"You've violates juries was one is like institute administrative proceedings which before an administrative law, judge, basically, it's sort of over supplying. It's kind of in front of the regulator. Right. The other ways to go to a federal court in front of a federal judge in the judiciary in the United States is different part of the government than the regulators are. So this is the first time that I believe they've gone to a federal court in the case of failure to register a token sale, the other cases of all involved, basically, orders, instituting proceedings. They've been expectedly consent orders in a in an SEC administrative proceeding kind of ratcheted up the pressure and the sanction in the penalty. That they've applied and this appears to be sort of the next as in ratcheting up if you will. So maybe just a final question on the kick stuff. You mentioned that you expect the settlement here hero. You think it's likely what could such a settlement look like. Maybe not. But you you'd have to look at other settlements that the SEC has entered into in other cases, probably be some sort of, requirement of recission offer where the SEC would require kick to give people the ability to sell their tokens back, there'd be required. Register file reports I suspect given the fact that they made the SEC file lawsuits that probably be some sort of civil penalty that would be imposed. So basically think of it as a fine. They might also require disgorgement or repayment of a certain amount of profits to the SEC. I mean given that. It may be that. The sanction is so onerous that kick views it as a. They don't survive. The settle on the terms of the require that may be an issue that needs to be, you know, that would have to be fleshed out obviously involves facts that I'm not privy to won't thanks so much. Let's, let's talk about the other failing that this often discussed, but highly confusing when it comes to the US that he's approach, which he said they've said that, you know, ether sale was basically security, but now it's not the security at some point displaying became all the security, and I think that USA terms efficiently decentralized at some point now cake as well. Right. They're not saying that the token today's security, so it's kind of unclear whether they consider it to be a security today, but I think it's been kind of premise of all of these people using this after ace that okay security, but then it's own pointed launches in won't be security anymore. So how'd you think that's going to play out? Like, do you think they is going to be this process of going from security, gnawed acuity? And how are we gonna know when what is what? So I don't I don't think the SEC is ever squarely said, in anything that is official that ether is, or is not a security or that the token sale wasn't was not a securities offering. There been some said that probably some statements that have come close to that. But I think they've been misinterpreted by by by certain people, there's that you're the sufficiently decentralized business came out of speech by William Henman last year. I don't see any reason why something can't start as a security and then become not a security. I certainly think that is awful in the case of ether. It doesn't to me look like it is a security at this moment in time as to whether or not the token sale was a securities offering. I don't think at not gonna upheld on that. Maybe it was maybe it wasn't will be up to the SEC to decide if it's going to take any action within believe there'd be a five year statute of limitations, which is coming up pretty soon right now, the thing about statute of limitations of courses that can be told or that can be a state or prevented by. By by private agreement. I think that this sort of latest round of enforcement activity in some of the recent litigation makes it difficult for people building, new platforms to sell tokens were things that do not yet exist, sort of bottom line..

"Do you feel that that has brought more clarity? The opposite, the framework that the SEC has most recently discuss. I don't think makes it possible for someone to know in advance, which side of the line, they're falling on it, it is a very large number of different factors that the SEC says it will consider in making judgment, but it doesn't actually tell anyone where the line is in. So I don't think that guidance actually helps people know in advance whether a given offer or sales won the SEC's say involves an investment contract. And I also wanted to ask in general about this choice to go to court. Do you think that this route would be antagonise kit, antagonistic regulators and sort of negativity predisposes them to this industry because I know you know, there are these. Other options where you could push for a kind of a clearer framework or an exemption of some sort or something where essentially, you kind of work with the regulators more. Totally fair question. And, and as we said, in the wealth response, we have certainly, tried to find a solution that doesn't all litigation. And we have been able to do that. And the fundamental problem is that the that in our view. The SEC is. Extending its regulatory reach to things that are not within its statutory authority. And to some extent, that's just an issue that has to be resolved. And I think just to add to that, I think the point where we're at with industry. What's become? So dangerous is the entire industry is operating under this cloud of fear of what will the SEC thing, and we're now starting to see the real impact of that of the industry in the US starting to fall behind, you know, it's, it's one thing to go and try to educate the SEC. We spent a lot of time doing that. It's one thing to produce all these documents, do all these subpoenas do all this testimony. 'cause millions of dollars. That's another thing that at this point. Now, what's the most worrying thing is we are falling behind. You know, I I look at. Coin base. In the come out, they build this amazing product or early building amazing team..

"So does the road team start winning again and end this this is a series that I think other than the your man's L came in and just clobbered Auburn, I think it's been pretty close most year. So and that's your that's your intro to SEC play. And then it just sorta rolls there. So and then you gotta go to Athens late in the season. Like, your final two games are at Georgia an at LSU brutal. Brutal. I'm excited to say. Yes. That said in a vacuum. I think there are better team than they were this year. I think that's JIMBO Fisher's gonna do a good job there. And I think you're to Mike Alko is going to be enormous. Yes. Yes. I mean, you know, getting them back with the kind of athletes that they can recruit getting them back to playing good defense. I think that is a bigger key to consistency than anything else for him. Now. I think that's right. I'm excited to see him one four ten eleven. All right. Eleven eleven here. Here's your woo pig. This is the easiest question, or at least the most simple question, simple thought Arkansas was very bad in two thousand eighteen is there reason to believe they'll simply be bad. I know what to get an average American conference quarterback lose familiar with their off does the offense. I guess. Yeah. And he was he was pretty average. Can they ascend to just below average? I don't know because they're still trying to remake the roster into what Chad Morris wants to look like because that you know, Bret bielema didn't have a roster like that. But I I don't know. 'cause AM's like I said Adams better LSU's, probably almost will be better Alabama's Alabama. Auburn is you know, we're predicting Auburn and not be good, which means they'll kill everyone. That's rough. I don't know where the winds are. I just don't I we're we're we're where who do you be? I'm pulling up their schedule right now. Yeah. They play Missouri at the end of the season. We know what Missouri does teams at the end of the season. This is true. They can win. God. This is rough this this. You're right. I'm not a good enough detective, Portland state, Colorado state, ole miss San Jose State. Yeah. Like, you should beat Colorado state this year, should San Jose State. Yeah. But in the SEC, I don't know. I mean, and they they actually could be a little bit better than they were. And I still don't know. What happens? I still I still don't know where Windsor there's a chance that they have to beat get better. They could start for no and finish for eight. It's entirely posits a rough way to go through life. But yeah, I mean they recruited relatively well. All things considered the recruiting to and what you have to replace there's opportunity certainly, and it just does not feel like twenty nineteen is a okay, we're going to be frisky and nobody wants to play us which. Is certainly the first step for a competitive. Arkansas team will that that's the thing at what point now this is this is the year when when Morris was immu when we looked at it and went I don't know where the winds are and they wound up beating Houston, I think going four Nater five and seven and then the turnaround was completed the following year. So maybe maybe he just has some your to magic that. We don't know about it's possible. I it's waiting for me. And I don't think when Arkansas clean house and got rid of Jeff long, Bret bielema. I don't think the people in, you know, making decisions in writing checks. We're fully appreciative of how hard the job is. Yeah, I think that's right. One four or ten ten. Let's go ten I love this off season. I don't know if it's going to do anything. I don't know if it's gonna be fun. But I love it so far onus had a nightmare of year on defense. They win one SEC game. But make probably the splash. She assed duo of coordinator hires. Enrich rotted, Mike, MacIntyre least, I guess name. Are they those two in a position at all? To succeed. The. The. Here's the thing there. There have been athletes on all MRs defense chill recently. And I realize it was going to go. Well, you know, that's why they have NCA violations. The they got athletes pretty much across the roster. It's been a case of putting those athletes in the in the proper positions defensively. So maybe mcintyre's that guy..

"What else? Do we got on here? The end of Mizzou's game against Kentucky for sticking with the wildcat. Where Mizzou definitely should have one. Okay. What about Alabama? Aside from the national championship if we're just going to stick with the the SEC season for Alabama the first half of the Georgia game the SEC championship game. I mean, it's painful to watch to a hobbling around getting hit getting blitzes. Not get picked up throwing interceptions. Right. First half of that. I mean, the thing with Alabama for trying to compare it to dental work is it's never serious dental work where you actually need novacaine. Right. Like all of their problems and being cosmetic lose like tennis system. Coaches. Doesn't matter have a quarterback who's hurt for pretty much the entire second half the year doesn't matter. Right. You're really splitting hairs if you're trying to find things at Alabama fans are going to treat as root canal, Georgia special teams, play calling is the root canal for Georgia and the swish and spit for Alabama. That's right. So thanks for that, call swishes spit could be our new thing. It's it has to be in a very specific way to this show. Georgia ends up being the Georgia root canal is probably the first half of the Texas game that game was it was rough. But losing in death valley is not it's nothing that is going to feel consistently terrible. And give you nightmares. I was a very good Ellis. You'd think I I'm looking at Arkansas Arkansas had a very bad year. Oh, and it was a weekly root canal schedule to and ten tough schedule. I think they were disappointed in Fayetteville by the quarterback play especially with Morris coming in. I don't know. I at least had an expectation that we would look better than it did. And that was that was a problem all your wishes spit was signing day. Yeah. Nice class coming in swish and spit was signing there. I talked about the ending of the Mizzou Kentucky game. I think we. I mean vandy. You know, you're going into a vandy season that you have some crack teeth. There's an expectation of there's a work's going to be done low point. I mean is probably Georgia. But that's not Seru canal root canals probably watching the end of the Notre Dame game. Because that game was there for Vanderbilt. Yes, it was there for this thing. And they could've beat Notre Dame in south blue that game was in south bend. It was it was. So that you know that was there, and they weren't able to capitalize. Who are we missing? Ole miss Mississippi State. I'll miss was root canal. All it was sort of beginning to end for all miss there. Exciting moments with that receiving core. But you know, you just get the what the one win is over Arkansas. Mississippi State on offense. I expected more tempers Mississippi State offense was one prolonged allow this tooth is green ass-. And I know we have to drill here. Right. Yes. That I think it was it was either thirteen or fourteen combined points against Kentucky and Florida to totally good teams. But with that site of experience and talent returning you have three points against LSU, seven Kentucky, six Florida and zero Alabama. If memory serves swishing spit was I mean, the ultimate swish and spit is the Bill. Ultimate it's America's swish and spit in so many different ways. I think that about covers it I think that covers. So we're going to we're going to cut over to the interview death, Andy we'll be back after but you did a cool thing on the ACC show. You did with a friendship Patterson from CBS. You're basically having the guest pick a number between him one in fourteen has did last week again this week with the SEC. And then you talk about those teams all too often. We just go in order of finish or in reverse order finish. This was a little bit more of a democratic way about going about it. And I think held interest pretty well at least through one conference autopsy. So we're gonna kick it over to Andy Staples from Sports Illustrated, aside dot com, Sirius XM, and we'll be back. Shortly enjoyed the interviews. All right. I don't make promises. I can't keep. So here's Andy Staples from Sports Illustrated..

"And I'm not taking anything away from them. I just think Georgia's the better football team. And I think it's I think Georgia's going to not only win they're going to cover the points. I remember that. Oh, I like I like I like Georgia as well. I think Kentucky is has been lucky and very fortunate to get to this point that they're at to even be in contention for for the SEC. I still feel that while they're a good team. They're not in a league team and Georgia last week restored a lot of confidence. And what I thought they were. And it's okay in college football for teams to come out and have a bad week which Georgia did two weeks ago, but to come back against a good for team next week and play the way they did. I think that's a sign for them moving forward, especially with what's on the table for them with the rest of the season to come to get into the SEC championship. And then get a chance to play Alabama and and get into the playoffs. So, you know, that's obviously a lot of them lying for them. I think they're gonna play like that. I don't think Kentucky stands in the way of that. I like Kentucky by by at least double digits yours or do. You mean? You said Georgia Georgia. Sorry apologies. Yes. I mean. Yeah. Yeah. I'm with you guys. I don't think ninth enough. I think Kentucky can keep it quotes for two three quarters. But I did. Oh, Johnny said. I mean, Georgia is who I thought they weren't. And they took a tough loss against a good. What MIT team right on the road? And I think. In the country. They're the number three team in country. So I was saying that two weeks ago like he didn't know Georgia in that game. It was like they still control their own destiny. I think the right were they need to be hats off to Kentucky. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Finish last week. You know, and and they played well, and I do think at home in a huge game. This has been kind of their dream season. It's basketball school that plays will be cronk and ready to go and they'll give Georgia good game. When I think Georgia can pull the way late. I don't think Kentucky had the offense of bullet about to say Casey's lock on her college football show when she said that was bad Kentucky, Missouri over that was bad. I felt when I was like why like I love half of that. It was bad once her locker them better than mine. But you know, that's not Kentucky game. They wanna play ground round impound ball control a play behind that. Really good defense, which I do think we'll get swords often some problems and it'll be a quintessential late season SEC game. I think Georgia finds a way to. Cover the nine light pulse. Like the BULLDOGS and Jake from last week too. I know we talked about this last week like Jake from did everything he needed to do to kind of put to rest that quarterback conversation at Georgia. I mean, Justin fields, you know. He's obviously very talented quarterback. He'll be in that conversation but Jake from bounce back. Like, you said Kentucky's defense is is very good. But they just can't score points right now that was bad. I thought Missouri was gonna come out and score like a whole bunch of points right off the bat and Kentucky was going to be forced to throw the ball. I was wrong. I'm now six and two in my locks. I'm gonna bounce back this week. But at the end of the day, whoever wins this games heading to Atlanta. Of course, I think the west is a better division. That's just fact at this point. And we've got the biggest game of the week in the west and really in the country, Alabama LSU LSU coming in at number three in the college football playoff rankings above Notre Dame, who's not lost which I think is an interesting conversation. Anyways, look such as the SEC so difficult this Alabama LSU game in Baton Rouge. The fact that Alabama is favored by fourteen is crazy to me. And I'm not saying that I don't think they should. But I did not expect a number three at home against Alabama to be down two touchdowns and be the dog that much. Do you guys agree with that spread?.

"And I think that statement misses the point of the SEC's inquiry that their point is that you you cause market disruption, and you said you're gonna take security private which is against the law. Not that you are don't have integrity. Don't make it personal. Yeah. Exactly. You're failing in your official role in your personal life. And I think that's the disconnect that Ilan doesn't care about rules that he don't he doesn't think a line with his personal values. Like, he doesn't believe he was misleading anyone and SEC saying you made fraudulent misleading and reckless statements. And I think as we found out through some sources after the fact through the New York Times and Wall Street Journal that they almost settled a few days ago, and he walked away from that apparently. And he apparently then afterwards spoke with Mark Cuban and some of his other investors, and they continue to counsel him to take a deal because they didn't feel that he was going to be able to necessarily win. And even if he could it wasn't worth the many years of time. It was going to take. And so it definitely felt like he felt personally attacked for this. And then it wasn't fair. And I. In this case what's fair is not necessarily what's important. And I don't think he likes that idea. But ultimately decided to settle with think it's wise, but sort of proves the point that I really don't think he felt this was he was he did anything that was as rises to the level of the SEC should care about like. Yeah. That's my bigger point about. It'll is that I don't believe he actually felt that he was doing fraudulent in the way that someone who says our stock is doing great. And they know that the is going bankrupt is or someone who is saying the company is doing poorly. So that the stock will go down and buy it before their earnings come out or someone who's embezzling money or someone who's running. You know in the legal scheme in the in the style of Enron and for him to be investigated and called out so quickly. By the SEC. I think kind of shook him bit. So yeah, I find it all quite. Yeah. Yeah. Do you think it would've actually caused less of a stir if it would have been any number other than four twenty? Oh, no. I don't think that really made that big a difference. I feel like that was the big sort of like flag on top. That said this is not a fully serious thing. But it ended just made me think of that prices. Right. Video of the guy betting four twenty on. Everything's the if. If of the listeners haven't seen it just Google or YouTube and search for prices, right? Four twenty. Yeah. It's it's delightful the four twenty bit. I think what. Well, he did say that the premium he was expecting to pay was twenty percent. He told the SEC this over what the current stock price was which turned out to before nineteen and that he had recently learned about the significance of the number four twenty in marijuana culture was girlfriend, and so he thought it would be funny to make it for twenty. Instead actually said this to the SEC. Did he also mentioned that it's now legal in California? I don't know. I mean at that point. What's funny time he had done? These interviews. He may have already done. Joe Rogan interview, which is hilarious. We have got to that. Yeah. Yes. From the from the statement from the SEC there, he then rounded up to four twenty after his girlfriend told him about the numbers significance for marijuana smokers and thought it would be funny. Yeah. Sorry sticking won't too. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know what to make any of this. So he had spoken to the board. Head of time asking saying he wanted to take the company private he thought now is the time to do it. He was looking for authorization. The start speaking to some big investors. They had Wilson on the board. It's like his some of his relatives and their nine people on the board. So there's IRA f f f pres who was one of the early investors. Steve Jurvetson Kimball. Linda Johnson rice, James Murdoch? And then Brad of the FOX murderous Antonio Garcia's, Robyn Denholm and Brad bus. So a lot of these people are connected..

"Dot com. And if you are going to be there, please do take pictures. Please do tweet out about the event. We reserve the right to use your pictures and tweets on our upcoming new and cool website, which actually might take live tonight. Do it. Why not with their friends from super boss. Yeah, you wanna get into the SEC. Why don't we get in? Hold on. I have a drum roll here. Actually, you know what? I have lex steel. Let's play him. Yeah, let's play lex steel before we talk about the SEC west. So let's start where we always start. Dan. I feel like a broken record because I start out all the preview shows the same way. The framework for all of these shows is why should I care now? Because we're both in our mid thirties at this point, the burden of everyday life is much greater now than it was when we were like fifteen eighteen twenty twenty two, not a lot of things on our minds. So why should we care about the SEC West End? That's that's where we're going with all this. But before we get there, let's talk about our initial impressions about the west just as a division within the SEC within the ecosystem of college football. What are your main takeaways here that there's no real middle ground to to the SEC west. You have like a ton of experience mixed with a ton of questions. There's there's. No team has like, oh yeah, I definitely see seven, five, eight and four things can go in so many different ways for everybody. And I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing. I think somebody's gonna jump up think somebody's gonna fall down, but there is which I think I like, I think I do like this. It we're dealing with the case of extremes, at least before the season actually starts. That's my impression. You have two teams that have the clear best defensive fronts in the division to me, Alabama Auburn, LSU right there as well, but not quite. And everybody else is just scrambling. Everybody else has pieces. There's some. There's another team that I like that could go to nine ten wins, but I, I like the fact that there is nothing mellow about this division well, and there's a lot of mystery about it too. I think we know what we're gonna. We're gonna get from Alabama, right? We don't know all the key jewelry those. Well, we don't know all the key contributors on defense because they're relatively new on defense. But I think we expect a level of quality from Alabama that we've seen urine out. That's one of the constants of the SEC west. But otherwise, you know, new coaches at Mississippi State and Texas a. and m. and Mark and saw. I got some real hot takes Arkansas time at ole miss in term tags off. Yeah, sure. So just a lot of mystery throughout that, I think makes this a very, very interesting side of the SEC. To follow it start at the top without Obama known all Bama. Okay. Defending national champion. Dog Rita talked about. I wanted to, I mean, in the way like we did last week. I like throwing people for a loop who did we start with last week, Indiana, Indiana? Okay. I want to start with Alabama. They are the expected. Yeah, I know defending national champions, eleven one regular season on the playoff game. And of course one a thriller in the national championship over Georgia overtime. Big time pass from two Tunga via law to win that national championship this year. Now ban has got ten guys back ten starters back seven on offense, three on defense. But what I would say is that the number is a little bit misleading if you're Alabama, because really it's an embarrassment of riches from top to bottom. And even a lot of the quote, unquote, non starters, got a ton of playing time. Lashed right?.

"For free. That's what we do here. We talk college football now twice a week as we gear up for the college football season. Today we are doing a very important show. It is. Our s. e. c. west preview show. Dan. We've been going through division by division conference by conference and talking about all the relevant factoid that may only interest you and I, but nonetheless are somewhat important and we did what big ten Easter week ago. Yep. That was a big one tonight. We've got a huge one, a lot of interest for sure. In the SEC west. Absolutely. It is the best division in the southern part of the United States. That is something I am willing to confidently say in state that is objectively true. Yes, yeah. I'm excited for this one. I don't have a nickname for the SEC west. We've given nicknames to other divisions, the SEC vast SEC vest terms. I don't know the SEC chest. I'm not very at tie. We need a little. We need a little skin from Nick Sabin before we go see chest. That's true. There is a lot to talk about this is probably more fun for me to talk about than it has been these past few years just because I like novelty tie. I like treating college football like a TV show, and I enjoyed that it's a new season a couple of stars left and we're getting a new blood, you know, in hopefully it's like, did you watch Friday night lights? Yeah, of course. I'm hoping it's an east Dillon west Dylan situation. Yeah, where we have some new stars. We have some new storylines. I am excited for what I think is because you know, traditionally these past few years, it's been sort of. Alabama LSU. Then Auburn here and there allburn you know is comes along and has a great season and goes like six, six, or you have a year or two of the Mississippi schools jumping up making. A lot of noise then obviously, after making a lot of noise, you get tight and need a massage out. But there is something very exciting to me about Arkansas rebooting and we do miss you, Bert. We miss a whole lot. We do. I still have the sound on the board by the way people we did a Reddit. AMA on, yes, Reddit dot com. Slash are slash solid verbal or sub read it, and I did get a very specific question about soundboard would we be expanding the soundboard to include sounds for other coaches, and there was a call out in there for the Bret bielema sound, which is never gonna lead that's ever gonna go away just because he's not a coach part of our fabric. We have JIMBO Fisher in a pretty sensible move in terms of, we expect. A lot of success both on the recruiting trail on the field with tech saying them. I don't know if that means anything beyond nine and three, but in the SEC west, that's pretty good. And there's I think that the nearest and dearest part of the the novelty of the SEC west, and that's very first person to ever work in both the Bronx and starkville Mississippi out. It's a weird van diagram isn't. It has become a thing and Matt Luke with a really fun offense at ole miss. And then you have the sort of more familiar stories at Alabama, Auburn, and listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, I'm writing, don't preview it. All right. Out of the chute Ari. I'm just it's sort of like when you read one of those articles on on the internet tie. Yeah, where they got a couple of highlights up top gotta dig down to find all the juicy stuff will you are excited you're. You sound about as excited as you were the last time you drank cold brew. So I hope you're Hedda ahead of green tea. I've got some ginger tea right now. It's all flowing. All right. Well. Thank you for downloading the show for listening to the show were excited as you can probably tell the talk about all things SEC. We are also very excited for a big deal. We've got going on this weekend now. Look, we've talked about this for several months and weeks running, but it is down to the nitty gritty. Yeah. If you are going to be in Chicago, if you're going to be around Chicago. Yeah, listening to the band Chicago. Yeah, whatever the case, if you're a bears fan, I don't care get your butt to Chicago..

"Solid verbal tickets dot com, tickets are Sylvia will, but we have sold an awful lot of him. It's on track of your biggest show yet. It is our two thousand eighteen fan. Things draft, which you and I had a ton of fun doing in New York about a year ago. And I think now we've got a better sense for the rhymes and rhythms of how that show should operate. This one will be our best live show to date. No, no two ways about it. And if you're listening after August. Eleventh because this is on demand audio, who? Right? That's right. Damn. Did you miss a fun show? What were you doing? Why don't you travel to Chicago? I am glad it was. At a theater because the stage work was incredible. Can you believe that you drafted Brian, Kelly, national championship winning coach? It was about a time as I'm all in. I'm all in as you know, if you attended the show or if you're just listening to this and there are no more tickets in that case, shoot us an Email and we'll figure out a way to get you in. We're going to charge you. Yeah, shall I shoot us an Email because sometimes people have last minute things come up and they have tickets to give away. So hopefully everybody can get in that wants to get in. We are looking forward to that show as we record this in July. Absolutely. Well, without further ado. Let's start with the SEC east. We don't need to punk are solid listeners out there. Let's talk about the eastern side of the SEC Dan. It wasn't all that long ago that we were making jokes in the show, calling it the s. e. c. least. I, I mean, I, I suppose one of us was making that joke Tassie see least that sorta changed a year ago because Georgia, Georgia came on like a freight train, they made it to the national championship game, went eleven one regular season. One, the SEC title beat Oklahoma in timeless to overtime game in the Rose Bowl, and then walked in OT and great national champion game to Alabama. But they were clearly the top dog in the eastern side of the SEC the rest of that side of the conference though. Well, interesting, I think, is one way you could phrase it, but we had incredible turmoil at Florida, incredible turmoil at Tennessee that extended beyond the regular season. Even even after they fired their coach, we had a bunch of like. From Vanderbilt at five and seven had a hell of a start though. Just a hell of a three. Now, a hell of three. And we had a Missouri team that really picked it up offense speaking a Kentucky team that went to a bowl game at seven, five, South Carolina team that got eight win. So there are obviously reasons if only because it's the SEC to be very interested in how this side of the side of the conference shakes out, then we'll start where we've started the last two shows. Now when you look just from a very broad perspective at the SEC east at the side of the conference, what are your general takeaways? Georgia is distancing themselves. Georgia is their their head, and they're the perception of the SEC east will jump if Florida and Tennessee in the next couple of years become only pretty good, then the SEC is fine. Florida becomes very good and Tennessee becomes good. Then it's the SEC east is among the nation's best divisions with the big tennis, and perhaps the Pac twelve north and the SEC west, and maybe the fat Lennick. But as of right now, the headline programs are just the headline program. I, I would agree with that. So let's start at the top. Let's start with Georgia. I told you they're incredible run last year loaded with talent. Again, this year, there's no denying that they've got Georgia previews going to be very short. It's going to be very short and sort of boring. And I think that's the way that Kirby smart wants it. He's for sure seemingly built an Alabama east in his short time now in Athens, and he stopped the cupboard with talent across the board..

"Man, we have more talent that we've ever had called as as one of the important team leaders at probably the most important position. Certainly you carry the responsibility, but how do you help everyone else get to where coach knows you need to get. Yeah. I mean as an older guy me just in Darius all experienced guys, older guys in the organization, we, we gotta set the standard. We got set this winning standard that we're no, we know what we're capable of and holding everybody accountable to that. And I think we've had a great off-season. I think we've gotten a lot better. I think that you know not making a bowl game motivate us a little bit. You know, we finished the regular season strong, you know, carrying into the off season. I think we had a lot of good work. I think it goes without saying that the SEC schedule is ridiculously difficult. We know that we don't need to waste time on that. But in addition to that, you, you threw in a nice little non conference game up north. Let's talk about that experience. Well, you know, the Notre Dame game is an opportunity for this program to, you know, get outside of the confines of the SEC and go play a school that has somewhat of a similar brand in terms of the academic fees. But you know, I mean it's a football powerhouse. Terms of what has been. So for us, you know, I want those challenges for our program. You know, we have Notre Dame this year. We've got Stanford, you know, women coming up. You know, the reality is, you know, we, we, we wanna play like Brian's in and play those types of games outside of SEC football and really give our guys an opportunity to to. You might play against guys who who not only look like them, but you know, as far to do some of the same things they want to do. So I think it's about the branding. I think it's about, you know, those type of contests. Again, being good for college, football being good, you know, for SEC and or those teams that we play against. And so I'm, I'm definitely excited about going to south bend because I truly believe it'll be a true test for us as we get in the game three Kyle. And I don't mean to despair Notre Dame, but when you play the schedule, the SEC that you do that is exciting for the fans, but. It's not any different or certainly no more difficult than what you see on a regular basis. Yeah. No, we play in the best conference most competitive conference in the country and the fear competitor. You want that you wanted to go against the best competition. And I believe we get in the an SEC alone, and then it'll be a great test going up to Notre Dame as well. Let's talk about the SEC for a second before you go because I really don't know where to start because it's to SEC teams playing for the national championship, kind of it kind of ends the the conversation about hookup the we give, but. What is that competition do for you and your program preparation-wise on on a weekly basis. It's about the standard. You understand, you know, when you watch Georgia and Alabama plan, the national title game, you understand that it's a certain level of discipline, a certain level commitment in a certain standard within those programs to be able to get to that level. And that's that that hasn't been lost on us. You know, I talk about being relentless tough and intelligent, and I believe that we have to recognize that it takes a different type of sacrifice, a different type of player in a different type of mentality. You know, to find yourself being competitive in this conference. And so you know, we need to move the needle in terms of wins. We definitely look to do that, but it it really speaks to when you see both teams in the national title game, you know, from this conference in one from either side of how good this conference is Kyle you. This is an old debate between Cochrane, I, but I went to the university of Tennessee. My wife has a medical degree from Vanderbilt, so we have some pretty friendly conversation. My house in most saved from Tennessee side. I'm not really happy with you guys..
