QB Ryan Tannehill Among Nine From Tennessee Titans Positive for COVID-19

"That we need to realize is gonna take a not just now in the preseason. But this is going to be an issue when we actually get Into the regular season. And that's covid. Okay. We see what happens with Cam Newton wasn't eligible to return to practice until today because he was away from the facility and he's not vaccinated. You need Take a test and come back, not positive, and even in the case of the Tennessee Titans They already said a couple of days ago that they had seven players. That they've had to put On the Covid 19 reserve list. This week you got Mike Rabel, their head coach who tested positive for Covid on Sunday and Ryan Tannehill. He's now a part of that group. Ryan Tannehill tested positive for Covid 19. And if you recall, it was only a few weeks ago that Ryan Tannehill was one of the players who basically said Listen The NFL is basically forcing our hand here. And as a result, Ryan Tannehill he got vaccinated. Even though it sounds like he didn't want to. He did, and he still tested positive. Now, having said that, as a result, Ryan Tannehill, he's gonna miss 5 to 10 days and he needs to produce two negative tests. Two consecutive days. Okay, the Titans they get going September 12th. I think that is enough Time to hopefully get Ryan Tannehill back up and running, and their general

Free Agency 2021: Biggest Winners and Losers From Day One

"Who's the biggest winner from day. One the biggest winner from day one already told you it was. It was a my intro. You're listening great question. Jonnu smith out. It's cam newton. Well that depends kenyans a starter for sixteen games. That's right that's true. It's yeah okay. Potentially find jonah smith. Donald smith big contract with the patriots They invest heavily in him. You like this for him i do. I think you know Obviously the quarterback is the concern. But this is the scenario especially with the move that they made that we look for in fantasy as tight end could be the leader of the pack in terms of targets and opportunities and so look cam was not good in twenty twenty. If cam does start sixteen games in two thousand twenty. One greg olsen. During a five year stretch was pretty awesome of the top tier tight ends of the guys that we did. We talk about what he was in the next group you know. And so from twenty two thousand twenty sixteen. Greg olsen averaged a hundred eighteen targets a season seventy seven catches Decide one thousand yards and five times. Johnny could do that. One season estimate put them right around a top five tight end. Greg olsen was great and not only was he great but we also saw from cam newton in that stretch that he could give you greg olsen. Who could finish as a top eight tight in five straight seasons and give you a number to wide receiver in four of those five seasons three or four of those five seasons whether it was. Steve smith or kelvin. Benjamin and even ted ginn one year. So that's interesting. I'll afforded talking about that on the show tomorrow on the tuesday morning show and then of course we'll have a whole bunch of more news items to react to. Hopefully we'll get some kenny golladay news at some point on tuesday or maybe it'll happen later on monday night as record this at about nine fifteen eastern. Who's the biggest loser from day. One the biggest loser from day one on asking these questions before. I told you that we were starting with these egypt's before the show The biggest guys they ryan tannehill johnny smith and Us down smith and corey davis They're going to have to struggle to replace those guys Davis probably more. So the jonah just from the standpoint of what he was last year with his production number two receiver sixty five catches nine hundred plus yards and five touchdowns. So we'll see what they do in in in that in that regard but i think Tannehill you know. I had him as the number eleven quarterback. I dropped in the thirteen after today. Just because i think it was close between in my mind. Joe burrow and tom brady put them behind both those guys. Okay how 'bout jameis winston ryan tannehill right now. It's soom jameis winston as the starter. I still go. i think it'd be messy. You know. I can't situation we're taking those not blaming So i was hoping james would go someplace else and tastes hill. Would still be the guy with maybe a rookie or somebody. Young that they could groom continued. Just gonna to get you know too much of the mill package of james as the starter and if as milton starter. Davis is gonna play very much so it just feels like it be messy situation oil. Who do you like better. Corey davis with the jets nelson agholor with the patriots. I think adler is going to be bad. I don't trust the situation. You know i mean he. He had so many big. Plays for the raiders last year and he was so good for derek carr but he did that on eighty two targets. I don't think he gets eighty two targets with the patriots. He's going to do the same thing. So with what cam does running the ball with what jonah smith brings to the table with. What the rest of the receiving corps will look like if julian edelman on the team if he's healthy Nagla is going to be A guy that's not on many fantasy rosters middle of the season whereas corey davis could be the best receiver for the jets. I don't know if that's going to be the case. But i would take davis by far over niagara.

The Patriots Quarterback Carousel

"To talk with the quarterback Carousel though. The latest Derek card may be on the trading block maybe on the market. Maybe not on the market. But what are your feelings? I think we're both in agreement that the starting price of two first-round picks is absolutely insane, but just in terms of him as a player. Where are you on Derek Carr? Yeah. I I think that all just start first with the overarching, you know, I think you're going to see a lot of teams put borderline quarterbacks on the market right now. I think you'll see what Jimmy Garoppolo I think you might see with Kirk Cousins those sorts of situations. It's just because teams saw the return for Matthew Stafford and they're thinking when I want some of that right? It's like what's going on in stock market gets hot. So everybody wants in on it. I don't know how like not every quarterback that gets put on the trade block in the next month is going to be traded and I think cars the first of a handful so I'm not going to like over-hyped that as four cars a player. I mean a nice piece, you know, I I'm not overly excited. You're right. The two first-round picks is too much where I look at this in relation to the Patriots we talked about this on Tuesday is 4 a.m. To get a guy like Jimmy Garoppolo there has to be a trickle-down effect, right? So maybe San Francisco likes car and then they get car and then should be dropping becomes available something like that, but I'm not you know going to do jumping jacks and say the offseason is saved because the Raiders are thinking about trading car, right and I think the biggest thing with these asking price is is that it's nice to ask for two first-round picks your job. Actually get two first-round picks for Derek Carr and even old PlayStation. I can ask you for $500 for it doesn't mean it's going to happen. Right and the other days you want to I mean the offer stands but no no, I'm good. But then the other thing is is that you have a trickle-down effect that you mentioned of the Raiders are not out there actively seeking a trade for Derrick Car unless they can upgrade at the quarterback position themselves. So maybe they feel and I think the report that was out there was that they were going to try to take whatever they get from Derek Carr and package their own pics together to make a move for Deshaun Watson, but if they don't feel like that other shoe was going to drop that you don't just trade Derrick Cartwright. Nothing left, you know with leave yourself empty-handed and now they do but actually it's interesting. You said that cuz you're a big Marcus Mariota guy. I never thought he obviously had his moments. You don't think they trade Derrick car for you know, if you can get to First for Derek Carr if you think Mariota is only a marginal decrease in those two first-round picks will help you out. More than that gap between card Mariota like you don't think they might look to just do that. I wouldn't but you being as high as Mariota on as high on Marietta as you are I'm a little interested that you're not going to flirt with that possibility as well. I would if you have a team comes in and offers the Raiders a Godfather offer for Derek Carr and they do offer multiple first or multiple Hai pics then maybe you could talk yourself in terms of replacing car and like you said, it's not that big of a drop off from one to the other and and you can have that conversation. But I think with Mariota in card me to me, it looks a lot like what Mario dealt with with Ryan Tannehill in Tennessee a few years ago where Mariota because of his pedigree because of his history with the club was the starter to start the season. It didn't go. Well they make the switch to Red Hill and the following offseason is when they decide to move on from Marcus Mariota, so I actually feel like the Raiders and and the Patriots, you know as a domino effect, or maybe one year too early on this dead. Our conversation may be we're having this conversation next to offseason when Marcus Mariota unseats Derek Carr has the starter and if if not, when if okay fair enough. Marcus Mariota unseat Sarah car,

Lamar Jackson gets his first playoff victory as Ravens beat Titans

"About the final game from day to of Wild Card Weekend the Ravens at the Titans. So Baltimore one 2213, it's Lamar Jackson's first-ever playoff win. Now. I always thought that the kind of narrative about well Lamar Jackson can't win in the playoffs my God still he he lost both games in two years like whatever. I I thought it was always massively overblown, but it was a hard tough fought game really interesting really exciting the Ravens against the Titans is it's really become a public library in my opinion and these two teams do not like each other at all.

"Country tonight, Brian. It works, Benjamin. All right here. Some of the text line 56690. Yeah, free checking in asking me if I was gonna tear my hair out earlier talking to you. Yes, There are times when Working with Benjamin Albright makes me want to terror. What's left of my hair out? But at the same time, you know we've been I sort of know. I'd say I come into most shows with the general idea of where you're gonna go with things once in a while You surprised me. I knew that you were going to stand. Ryan Tannehill over to Shawn Watson. Across the board. There was just gonna be no. Convincing you otherwise that dish on Watson is the better quarterback prospect. You were gonna go all in on? Do you know what? I don't think our next guest would even be surprised to hear. That you went all in on Ryan Tannehill over every other quarterback in the league. And that is not that. Is it all charged jury Joining us here on the program was a George I'm I'm doing the serenity down. It's not even accurate at all had Tannehill I believe, like fifth or sixth, but no. You know, you did not hear Rogers if you push the shot, Watson out of the top five more Ryan Tannehill. Yeah, so after six that would be five women. There you go. Here. Let me hear the top set. Aaron Rodgers and Pat Mahomes and Josh Allen. Obviously, er 12 and three Russ was four on Ben. We had Ryan Tannehill of five and two shot at six. S so explain to me how shot Watson, a man that literally has the most dysfunctional team coach organization. Preach, put the team on his back continuously day in and day out. Goes out. There has an incredible season by every metric you can possibly name on doesn't make it ahead of Ryan Tannehill. How's that possible? No. I mean, we both have the same number of touchdowns, two interceptions. The differences. Ryan Tannehill didn't thought about 70 74 throws. Yes, the differences right now that I 74 throws in the end of the day, Ryan Tannehill led the NFL in fourth quarter comebacks and game winning drives. Two shot. Watson couldn't muster one s so like, you know, if you were gonna talk about putting team on his back, but at what point did you put him on his back and Dragon? Don't win. The guy had four wins on the season, both of the bad defense's 13 statue. And in the year of our Lord 2020. I think we've got to be a little more nuanced with with our analysis here. I mean, um Yeah, you gotta You gotta take the totality of everything in the consideration. Throw for throw basis. First off you mentioned on fewer throws Ryan Tannehill's playing on a team that is putting him in a much better position to win first off. And has an offensive coordinator that is, by many stretches. One of the better office coordinates and lead shot. Watson's over here with his number one wide receiver Gone for the season is new number one rod receiver injured. Um, Coach fired, um, and continues to be as efficient as any quarterback in the NFL. His team's always losing to the defense's also terrible. Houston's 30th and yards for play allowed. Tennessee's 25th sound like that much different in terms of their defense is alright. I think George got this. So you know, I'm just saying, George George is bringing the heat tonight. Plenty of. There's plenty of things tol about supporting cast that I'm not debating. The Titans don't have a better supporting cast but the other day. Asked me for what quarterback? I gave you. My opinion. I understand why this is seems ridiculous. If give two shot. Watson was capable of putting a team on his back. Why hasn't he? Wow? Whatever. Whatever questions you had me I was gonna say he has And that's been clear since he was in college. Now you are the team on the fact that you believe in keep ER. I think CBR has some some beneficial components idea. It's very It's very similar to if you look at just EPA for drop back, Um there is very similar on guy think he cares a great way of measuring results. There's a little bit of nuance that needs to be done. You know, T o. You know, the results don't always Merrick process, obviously very bright. Right? Fair enough, But I mean, just look at these things. Keep er numbers here. This just randomly looking at them here just happened to click on him. I didn't have him prepped it anyway. Ryan Tannehill sitting here fourth behind Rogers, Mahomes and Alan. Let me scroll down here instead of finding Shawn Watson. Still scrolling still scrolling. See breaker, Mayfield. Derek cards shot. Watson. Never go ahead. 12th. And in Cuba. ER does it have any any weight or anything to anybody? Yeah. I mean, here's their sore loser. EPA per per point. No, no, no. Look on, I will use Pff grade over. Q B R any paper plates more predictive of future success or failure because you're trying to grade the process, right? And not the result, and Sean walked in, was behind only two other guys and get grades is the only Rogers and Brady. Okay, Holmes was write a few 10th the Plains like homes last two games. Pushed him out of the top two. Okay, Um what? But what Watson did that I thought was really spectacular. This year was never had like a catastrophically bad game. You never had a game where he graded below. 65, which for you drew block lovers was actually lost overall Pff grade below 65 on the season, so Um, you know, but that's kind of here..

"Want to beat up, Mitch. I mean, I think I think you know. Well, I I feel like you respond to people who, you know, Say why you hard on him or It's because I just wouldn't approve wants. What did they want to? They want you to appreciate him or think he's a good as they think. I mean, like, Listen, we can all have different opinions. If somebody believes He's going to be the second coming of Aaron Rodgers. I don't agree with you, but you don't listen. Have your opinion. Just don't try to force it upon me. Because if you do, it'll fall on deaf ears. There are people who think he could be Tana hell or can be Alex Smith after they got out of there, first City. Okay, Now listen to Tannehill Licks. Comparison, I think is an interesting one, because that's the style you want. What you want is a quarterback that is going to be helped tremendously by an offensive line. Remember before Taylor Lewan Went out with an injury. I think both of their offensive tackles were former first round picks like that's a team that invested in their front five. They obviously focused on running the ball. And then everything comes off of that. I would argue to those people. Ryan Tannehill, even in his Dolphins days was a better overall quarterback than Mitch Woz. And I would certainly are you now that he's much more accurate quarterback than Mitch is proven to this point. If you I sent you guys, uh, text the other day. That compares statistically and you could make to statistics you know, sing whatever song you want them to sing in some ways. But over the last number of games, his numbers are almost identical other than passing yards to Patrick Mahomes. Like Ryan Tannehill has been a really, really good quarterback in this league for better than two years. Yeah, so that compares sends a tough one. The baker Mayfield's another one. I think Baker, who has been reckless at times and takes more risks than I've seen there that I would like to see. Um But I think if you look at the film closely, Baker now he functions inside the pocket. Better than Mitch. Listen, This is not a hey leads paying on Mitch Parade. But if you want to make the comparisons You know, they're they're they're they're hard to make. They really are right. This isn't about like this is about the people saying, Hey, I think the Bears are better off staying with Mitch. And and maybe he's finally arrived just three years later than you wanted him to hear Sam Anson, who does a good job on the pro football focus. This was him today when it was brought up that people want The Bears to sign Mitch Travis Key to a long term extension. You've gotta hope not right. Rested Bills melt down with mistakes in 42-16 loss to Titans

"Did you see this common? Did you see the titans rolling up a forty? Burger. On the bills who look they look like the team that had a cove nineteen nightmare with layoffs and close facilities and long stretches without play not the titans. I. Didn't see it coming. I mean I think that if you're someone that just observers football. How much do we know whether or not practice time? Is. A key indicator of success I? Mean I'm saying you never practiced but I think the bills having to split attention I'm talking like deep staff members, players studying tape between the titans and chiefs might have been a bigger factor. But when the game started tonight I mean this game to me is about mistakes by Josh Allen that we haven't really seen up to this point. They came home to roost tonight. The first interception was not on him. That was a deflected ball the second one though was and Ryan Tannehill? Kind of another notch in the belt of Sane for all of us on I'm included in that the question whether the off season and into this season would have been a path that showed us that Ryan Tannehill. Last year was an aberration from the rest of his career. He's not going to reach those typical heights, but he really fits in this offense. He is a tough minded quarterback and we see it with this runs. Tonight we see with him blasting for a first down that it didn't seal the game further sealed the game late late on his pinpoint passes play action attack under Arthur Smith you probably. Generated About Fifteen head coaching interviews during this game because it was on national TV because for some reason, Arthur Smith is still a little under the radar and I think it's about. The Smith the Arthur Smith. I mean you'll see that the future of offense I know it feels like. Like a paint company I get that it's not it's not something that sticks out but the bills defense. Week I. Think we came into the year thinking the titans defense might be the part of that team that kind of lax identity. Well, tonight, they really they put forward a great performance and caused havoc for the bills were the bills defense up the Middle Johnny Smith other guys just being victimized. I'd be real concerned about Buffalo's defense because teams are going to look at this and say, we're going to attack them this way.

"Long before that Ryan Tannehill before that deadline dot colleges who went from being bands to being next man up in the same game he's back in the starting lineup for the Steelers they go to Baltimore it is pressure drafters undergoes pressure player coach team whoever heading into week seventeen I've got the trivia question Chris is under pressure to get it right if he does he get the first pick if he doesn't I do Chris is the question Travis Kelsey the chief site and log his five hundredth career reception on Sunday night football in only his seventh season two tight ends have more catches than Kelsey over their first seven seasons name one our goal what Tony Gonzalez now it would be Zack arts and or Jason what wow those are yeah yeah and I I I would I would not have gotten J. stood waiting for the amount of reception is there I didn't realize that one hurts who did come to my mind man I'm I'm I'm cold lately on these ones I'm having a deja vu kind of moment these all blend together for me but I feel like we had one of those recently where you thought it was Tony Gonzalez and the obvious choice would have been Tony Gonzalez but it wasn't now it Hey maybe and I said the wrong can night it was one of those I can't remember your right cells some alternate reality that may be induced by the fact that I fell down fourteen steps and survived and maybe I'm I'm go ahead exit out of twelve hours all right first one for me and and look this one's easy it's it's Jason Garrett it's yeah he he's he's got a win at any got a hope while he's trying to win that the giants are successfully beating back the eagle so it's double pressure one he can control sort of the other has no control over I think about that while you're trying to do your job there is another game being played fifteen hundred miles away or there abouts it is going to have a direct impact on your ability to continue to do your job could you could be Washington sixty two to three and still not making the playoffs not have a job the next day so there are a few guys under more pressure than Jason Garrett all I'd say he's under the most of anyone in sports this weekend now he only controls half of it yeah I know I'm with you yeah I I a hundred percent that was definitely the first pick in the draft you're right yeah it's not only about the pressure of he needs his team to win and perform well and watch it is been a pain in the **** for everybody lately but you're right he's got to have the pressure of I hope the other team the Philadelphia Eagles laser tag or the giants play well I I'm going to the other team because I think the said the guy that's under the second most pressure this week is Carson once the Philadelphia Eagles Carson Wentz I just look at him ago man he's a racist a lot of the the demons around him like you know ever since he got hurt they went on a one the super ball with Adam and Nick Foles he's he's quiet that this year a little bit because of course Carson Wentz is severely out played Nick Foles when Nick Foles was healthy in in the game so that stop but here as of late with the fact that the eagles of one games with a bunch of no names around him and he's playing still really well I feel like is change public perception a little bit I think people have seen like lately go wow this guy's actually really talented and it's funny how that has to happen but I didn't give you lose this game it all kind of gets a race where it's just gonna go back to what we are talking about early in the year all you can't win the big game or he just doesn't come through like Nick falso Carson Wentz my first pick of the pressure draft I don't know that it goes all the way back there but I agree with you that so far they have quiet all that noise that they kept the wrong guy I was one of the guys who thought they kept the wrong guy yeah and now I feel differently if they lose on Sunday to the giants though but you're right the only way we're gonna lose if one doesn't have a good game if he does have a good game with the season on the line a playoff berth right there then there's there's reason to question whether or not when it's really is the guy long term so I I guess I guess I reluctantly agree with you thank you although I think the next guy's under more pressure because Carson Wentz has gotten paid James Winston hasn't gotten paid and James Winston is two interceptions away from becoming the NFL's first ever thirty and thirty quarterback not exactly the kind of closing argument that you want to make when you are in a position where your current team is you're gonna pay you tag you gonna hit the market whatever and there were reports last week that the Buccaneers already decided to keep Janus once and I think it's a given they have to keep him well coach Bruce Arians said after that for interception performance against the Texans no decision's been made yeah they what they want Janusz to to think that they don't want to they want James I think nobody wants him they want to negotiate from a position of strength and if he has two or more interceptions on Sunday in the season ending game against the Atlanta Falcons they will have even more strength because who's going to want the guy who won thirty and thirty I mean that's going to be the problem you're getting an exciting and capable quarterback who's also an interception machine so a lot of pressure on him to avoid going thirty and thirty yeah and to finish strong with a kind of performing right to say okay yeah this guy deserves to be a starting quarterback and the Buccaneers don't want somebody else needs to pay him because he is in the top half of the lake yeah and I I agreed this probably would have been my second pick till and I'm with you in you know all the points you said very true added to the fact that if you just went out there and threw five interceptions on Sunday just played absolutely horrible it could just be like okay the hell with it we're done with via well I got a that's part of this still owed to where they were really might just go okay good so we we give up we can't break through to this guy he's an interception machine it doesn't matter so he went out there just laid an egg that way I think that could hurt him as well which adds to the pressure part of this whole situation so I'm with you I do think James what's is under a lot of pressure this weekend okay I'm gonna go to Devlin dot colleges all right that's gonna be my second pick not only because of the weekend the implications of the ravens Steelers game all we got bench last week and really only got to go back in because Mason route off got hurt and got to start this week because they have to put Mason road off on I. R. I think it goes far beyond just this week with the pressure on double adult cottages yeah the pressures real this week but this is the kind of thing where if he doesn't play good he might not be on the Steelers all next year they you know they may just go okay big bands back we'll have Mason rid of as a back up quarterback in you know maybe draft somebody else to come in and be the third guy or whatever it may be maybe they draft a first round quarterback this year for the future of the not sold on that so I do believe like Dublin dot colleges is almost he's playing for his career as a pet the birch hill or this weekend if he goes out there and plays like crap I have a hard time believing he'll be on that roster next year yeah I think that's it that's a good point you know one of the things we said last week a reason to go back to Devlin Hodges not Mason route off going into that jets game they need to evaluate whether not Hodges has a chance to be the guy post and rob this writer and I he he's not the guy sorry great story nice kid yeah he's not the guy they're gonna have to draft somebody they're gonna have to do what they did when I got Roethlisberger they can't go twenty years between Terry Bradshaw on Ben Roethlisberger they can't do that again and the and Hodges the answer Rudolph is the answer nobody on the roster currently is the answer Ross vers making noise he's gonna come back as good as ever next year we'll see if that happens I'm going to stay in the same game because this is RG three is opportunity even though he's under contract through twenty twenty this is an opportunity to put himself in position to maybe be a starter again some day I don't think he's going to pass the test and I think if anything he could jeopardize his status as the backup to Lamar Jackson in twenty twenty because I just don't think he's been impressive when we see him play and this year it looked good there's a gap between him and Omar Jackson and when you take Jackson out and you put RG three end it's an obvious gap and this is a if if he's ever going to re establish himself and or prove that he's the best guy to continue indefinitely as the number two Lamar Jackson this is chance starting quarterback against a good Steelers defense go out have a big day you're gonna have people who are planning ahead to twenty twenty one thinking Hey maybe RG three is a guy we need to think about giving an opportunity to come in and compete for a starting job so you got a lot of positive riding on it and I think the other side of the coin he needs to worry that the ravens if they say Mandel sure can we really trust this got a playful mark Jackson gets injured it may cause them to revisit their plans at the number two position next year yeah I I think all that is is very spot on I mean yes he's he's got a and that he's he's played well in the preseason Idalus last year he got hurt in the preseason all of it but the last two years I really liked what I've seen there he's not Lamar Jackson you're exactly right you could tell he just doesn't is not as physically explosives Lamar so as much as that offense is made for a quarterback like him to do all the right guy yeah it is running is not that on the level of the Lamar Jackson but none the less I think a very adequate back up if you can prove that this week and yes if he plays really well this week and then continues out another good pre season next year and all that it could set him up for twenty twenty one so yeah you're right there is some pressure on him there I'm going to the Pacific Northwest our game Jimmy garage below I think that's the guy I'm gonna go to is my last pick the pressure's been on of all year you know and I just feel like at the forty Niners go up there and land AG and he doesn't play well the law start again an old now Jimmy Karabagh as got to go on the road for the wild card game can they really trusted him and do all those type of things he's played well as of late and played well in some late game situations you know we saw play great in the thirteen sixteens against the rams last Saturday night they were impressive conversions and all of that but I still think this is a guy.

And I'd love to have to shine Jackson as like a on our receiving core. In case, we get an injury to Cooper, Cupper, Robert woods or Brandin cooks. So I would love for that to happen. All right, Brian last one George chat. Do we play the experimental game? Or do we just do a regular question? Let's play the experimental game. Games are terrible. Yes. Your games are often. "You're listening to the rich Eisen. Perry. I don't even care that was amazing. That he missed that was at the he's worth the price of admission. Right. Sit down and watch him play. Even if you hate do there must see every night. He is the book put like this. It's design network. That's what I call it. Because as we think of college basketball, you're thinking of Zion Williamson. I mean, I'm sorry for all the percents out there. He has stolen the college basketball headlines, and I don't even know if he's the best player on his team. But he's the most exciting player. I'll tell you that. That's the reason why you're watching you. And I think he has to be the number one pick. Does he have to be or is it me? Or is it because he has the highlights. That's all that we see because I don't know. I mean, you wanna see his skill set continue to mature, obviously host moves he can shoot some threes. Some threes. Nine to eighty. Playing defensive end. He should be trust me. That's one question. I did I actually acts David cliff the head coach of the Duke blue devils football team. I say how do you not have Zion? Williamson on your TV start laughing. Trust me a guy of that size. And look coach K had them. Once coach K's got him. He ain't coming up with my way. I did coach cuts that question when I had a Duke game this year, but he is college basketball right now. So when you're watching I saw them when does do play they play again, I think Saturday I'll be watching that one. But I sort of tease this this last segment, which was a TB f f and those initials are for. What to look forward to in two thousand nineteen as the first kind of dominoes to fall with the NFL season. Meaning that we're right around the corner from the NFL scouting combine which would be up in about a couple of weeks. And then after the combine starts in NFL free agency. So the the letters that I mentioned TB f f or for ten hill Bridgewater flacco in foles four quarterbacks or there. Yeah. That's that's my big four. That's my final four. I've got the NFL draft order right here. And I'm trying to look through teams that possibly need a quarterback or maybe even a bridge quarterback to allow the younger player to kind of sit out for year for not much. I think the Kansas City model which we saw with Alex Smith being emplaced while they gave Patrick. Mahomes a year to sit down the system. Learn a scheme. Learn how to be an NFL quarterback. I think that may be something in which teams take a look at. And if you had the choice right now naked present it to you guys presented to the people out there. Listening author on Twitter at Kirk Morrison at richeisenshow whoever of those four quarterbacks if you had a chance to choose just one to be your bridge quarterback. Who would you go for first Ryan tannehill? Teddy bridgewater. Joe flacco Nick foles because I look at the NFL draft of the first round so far. I don't think the cardinals are taking a quarterback San Francisco. They don't they're not taking a quarterback. The jets aren't taking a quarterback. You're looking at number four the raiders foreign twelve they possibly could take a quarterback. But maybe in the later rounds the buccaneers could they take a quarterback possibly with James Weston on the fifth year option. The giants I think are kind of the for sure team that we. Of the top ten. I think they're the first team that can make that decision. The jaguars. They truly are a team that needs not only a quarterback to be the bridge, but they will draft. I think a quarterback in the first round, I think because you need something. And you don't need somebody to rush out there fairly quickly Detroit. They don't need a quarterback at eight buffalo. They drafted one last year. We know that you look at ten the Denver Broncos. Could they also be in line the market for one? They could be in a market for my. That's what I call them. The s ten a hill Bridgewater flacco and foles, but we've seen John Elway track record. Offense, the case keenum, but I'm gonna be honest with you didn't work out. Is it didn't work out. It was great you save money. You brought a guy in. But when it came time to win you games. Case keenum can't win you a game. Now, he can keep the ship afloat. He won't mess it up for you. But I don't think he's gonna go out there and win you a game. So of those four ten hill Bridgewater flacco foles who's the guy that you will take. To kind of beat your bridge. Think you've got to go with the guy who's proven it. Go MVP, Nick foles. Ooh. But you can say the same thing for flacco. He's also proven it. And he's been a Super Bowl MVP lack goes also thirty four thirty five. Yeah. Thirty four thirty five, but they're roughly around the same age and almost NFL years when you think about it they both. I mean, Joe flacco just didn't suit the offense anymore. Nothing. Baltimore wanted to go younger. The more dynamic. I think teddy Bridgewater is a guy that I'm looking at not saying I want him. I, but he could be interesting. I didn't have a good audition. When he got his chance at the end of the season with the saints. Yeah. But I think that's week seventeen and nobody wants to really play week seventeen. But if you know, that's your one shot this year to start a game. Thank you would've thrown out a little bit better performance than teddy. Teddy's only twenty six he probably has the biggest upside out of all those four guys. I mean Bryant tannehill whip from a first round pick to now being a backup. Just like that. Has had multiple four thousand yard seasons. But he's a backup. Now is he a backup? Where's this starter? Because I don't know which team is I look at my list and says, hey, we bring the Ryan tannehill right now. You're a star force think I'd rather have Tanta Hilton case keenum. Yeah. I don't know. We'll see, but we'll get. We'll get Brockman news coming up in the third hour. I can't wait to see what you got for me. There. Brockman, also, we'll still dissecting what happened last night in Indiana with the Pacers and Lakers, we'll talk to tongue as well. "You're looking at a bottom core tile offense, and it's not a fun product to watch. And I just think there has to be reprecussions for doubling down on those things at not having really any offensive identity in my opinion. What are we good at on offense? Are we good at passing? Are we good at running? We gotta blocking. Are we good? I guess for good at the trick plays. You know, we got that Cohen forest. We got the bubble screens. We like to call those. Those that's not something hang your hat on. So without an offensive identity after three years, we should know by now, fellows, we should feel it by now that this offense is Tren trending in the right direction. And I don't feel that at all. I was kind of the guy in the middle last week. I saw both your points and a little bit torn. But I mean after what we saw Madame gays. I mean, we touched on throughout this podcast that last some of the play calling throughout the game. But those last two drives I mean that that's hard to ever overlook. And I mean, you look at what he's done. He's twenty one and twenty two now with the dolphins including that playoff loss. I said you really just look at this team and think that they're that much better than they were with you know, Joe Philbin. I don't see it. And you bring a guy in that's supposed to be an offensive guru a guy who's a quarterback whisper some might say, I mean, he chose his job. And he used Hannah hills part of that reasoning but the complete negligence of the quarterback position. I mean, we saw Jay color last year. Whether you Brock Osweiler came in and played well this year. I mean, we talk about all the time. But at some point you had to go out there and find a guy that you could groom to take over behind Ryan tannehill. Sure, that's not all on Adam gays, but I just don't see enough. Good. That is come from bringing Adam gates to Miami. Sure. Twenty one and twenty two given all the circumstances. The banged up offense of line. This season Ryan has been in now the lineup. I mean, the guy's got plenty of excuses, but could coach don't need excuses. And I don't see a better team now than when Joe Philbin was here. So I again, I don't think that Stephen Ross is gonna make that decision. But I do think it's going to happen sooner or later. We're just prolong the inevitable. Adam gates is not going to be a long-term head coach the Miami Dolphins. And I mean, we're sitting here saying, I don't think any of be upset if he proved us wrong if you went out there, and and did some of the things that he shows at times because you look at the Oakland game. You look at some early games this season, the offense, look awesome. I mean sure the stats are, you know, blown up by some of those tannehill had passing touchdowns just basically tosses to keen grant. Now Wilson I mean, you just see little things that, you know, Skyrock at some of the statistics, but the offense looked awesome. And at times, Adam gates has some. Mm damn good clay calls. It's at times this offense. Looks nearly unstoppable. But more times than not dozen flat his game planning before the game. I mean those scripted plays. It's it's just something. That's never changing it at twenty one and twenty two. I mean, these last few games we said it last week about Ryan tannehill was going to say a lot about his career. I think no matter how will he played against India..

"Son and helps any last thoughts on Ryan tannehill it out and gays one a consistent winner somehow, someway, there's different theories of how that works in the NFL. And I think you know, when you're looking at the Super Bowl from last year. The Nick foles Tom Brady game has really. Embedded the idea. And a lot of mines that winning with average quarterbacks is possible. And yes, clearly it is possible. I just find it more and more. And I really resisted this theory is a fan. But it really does seem to be about consistent quarterback play those or that's just something that's able to overcome other obstacles that a strong running game on a strong defense. Can't always do. So we we we have to find a way to build a consistent winter somehow, someway. Having a complete holistic team works. But I think we need to start with the quarterback physician, first and foremost. You and I just want to say before it comes up. I mean, I kind of been one of those guys pretty pretty adamant about this team name to draft a quarterback. I I don't think that changes regardless of how Ryan tannehill plays. I mean, I said before on that Ryan tannehill rent ran earlier in the season. I said how you know. He is what he is. But he's still our quarterback until he's a on a different team. Who's no longer with the Miami Dolphins? He's our quarterback. But no matter what he does. And he's last six games. The dolphins should have realized you know, with Jay Cutler now with Brock Osweiler this year, they need to get a quarterback. They need to have a backup plan. So regardless of Ryan's goes out there and lights a role on fire. They still draft quarterback. It should still be going after teddy Bridgewater and free agency. If the price is right. They still need to go into next season with rhymes Hanno plays will maybe they can restructure that huge cat number. He he's going to be what thirty one next season. I mean, he he still serviceable quarterback. But at the end of the day, he is he's an Alex Smith. We said it before he's now Smith. And the team needs Patrick Mahomes. Yes. Teams can with Nick foles. But but that that doesn't happen that often. So I think a lot of people might look at that and say, you know, what how sitting they wanted to quarterback earlier in the year. Now, he's re runs and I will always front. But for this team to succeed in the future. They need a better quarterback Ryan tannehill. And I don't think that'll change. No matter how these last six games play out. It all begins once again Ryan tannehill is back at them gays. Six more games to make to the playoffs. "Granted they've played against you know, buffalo and Oakland and the process, but that we've played Oakland to and got that victory there. So I mean, it's. The colts are good team right now, they have momentum. They just beat their division rival thirty eight ten at home. So they're back in Lucas oil stadium. I don't think momentum wise the sets up well for us, despite the fact that we had the by week there, but how many worthwhile repetitions were there for tannahill while he's going through this injury. Did he have as many reps in practice that he normally would I can't answer that question. My my assumption, though is probably not as many as he would normally have. Then you couple that with on James coming back their interior line. Not being there to Kane grant being injured just I just don't see a great recipe for success on offense on Sunday. And with a really hot offense of team led by Andrew luck. And they're doing a lot of different things. Formation wise. I think that sets up pretty poorly for us on defense as well. This is a good segue into our next segment, but before we jump into that it is want to kind of recap. What you both said. And yes, Ryan tannehill needs to be a super hero in order for the dolphins to make the playoffs because of all the injuries that have occurred on this dolphin team. And you know, Ryan hills not at one hundred percent he admitted as such that he's not hundred percent. But it's what the dolphins need right now. And I think there's no doubt in my mind that Ryan hill is absolutely pushing himself to come back for this game. And I don't think he's fully ready. But this game is Jewish at the dolphins. Lose this game on Sunday. They can pretty much write themselves out of the playoffs because they will then have lost the tiebreaker between the Bengals and the colts. And when you look at the AFC standings right now, you got sixteen to get patriots. Guess dolphins are two games out there probably gonna win the AFC east chiefs and charters are neck to neck. We'll see what happens every one of them. Get the wall. Card. I've seen north you got the Steelers ending the ravens with five losses. Bengals was fi losses. But the Bengals will need to lose more than the dolphins will lose Steelers. You're gonna win that division. Pretty sure then you gotta Texas who are probably gonna win that division. Then you gotta tighten the dolphin hold the tiebreaker over and the colts. So the dolphins against the colts doll go to five and six they'll have the tiebreaker loss against the colts in the Bengals you can pretty much end their season, right then and there unless they go on crazy run and some miracles happen. The rest of the way. Now all that said the dolphins right now are five and five. They are decimated with injuries. Over a dozen players on injuries Irv at one point during the Packers game. They have three offenses starters playing from opening day to came grant the latest offensive player to go on injuries, Irv. Adam gays as been a subject of a ton of criticism this season, some deservedly some not so deservedly. I'm gonna jump on here right now say that his criticism of him being five and five is totally undeserved. Amount of injuries. They have and the fact that they went up to Green Bay with only three offense of starters from opening day at one point in the game. And to still have a chance all the way up until almost the fourth quarter with rock us while as you're starting quarterback. I think speaks a ton of as to what atom gazes doing with this team..

"I'm going to say yes, Ryan tannehill come back, and he can do everything that we kinda dream of kind of sit there and think about throughout the day. You know, what if the dolphins make a place what Frontino comes back this week or my shoulder injury that many people think he'd come back from for few more weeks and go out there and all the foreign to record down the stretch and get this team in the playoffs. Maybe wanna playoff game. It's it setting up to be one of those moments that you know, the dolphins don't Santa chance to do it because it's the dolphins. But I think Ryan tannehill at some point he needs to realize that his NFL career relies on sure their teams out there that love Ryan tannehill. But his days in Miami are numbered, and he can go out there, and you know, rewrite his legacy a Miami. If he goes out there and be Cindy continues to do so throughout the rest of the season. I mean, they play buffalo twice. You know, they got Minnesota who's struggling they got these games. They haven't beaten to England this year mean that's the team that beat every single year seemed so they have these games that they can go out there and win. It's just Kenny injuries. Can they overcome all the injuries? I think it's going be a tough task. But the Homer me says Ryan channels gonna go out there. Go forward to lead the dolphins to the playoffs narratives can change in six games. We've already seen that happen this year. Look what happened in the first three games of the season. What we were saying about Ryan tannehill. And then the next cohort a games what we were saying about Ryan tannehill. So you just you have to wonder just about the return from injury at self? You know, we have to consider that for a second. We know Ryan tannehill tough SOB. Okay. We know the pedigree that he's had the shots that he's taken and bounce back from a lot of them. He's had a rough stretch here lately. But I don't think anyone can really question his toughness, his durability. Yes. But not his toughness. So he's got the toughness factor here. And I almost wonder a little bit of he's coming back. Rushing a little bit. That's just me just being curious about the situation. But. With that. With that being said, I was a college basketball athlete trying to return from an injury, myself and peak performance and sports depends on repetitive consistent muscle memory. And Ryan tannehill just for the sake of half take a break from the capsule or injury that he had you have to wonder how effective is going to be. We already have the the struggles. With our first drives and early in games. How is that going to jive with Ryan Tanno coming back from a month-long injury? So I'm very worried about how the opening scripts and all that kind of stuff are gonna play out you'd like to hope that the the running game gets involved there. But just to backtrack a couple of weeks when we when we interviewed Dr Chow, I specifically asked him. About the susceptibility of Tanna hills injury. And how likely it is to be reactivated. And what he said was if the pain is coming from the capture injury it self. It's not a good sign, and this is paraphrase, please don't hold me to this for Begum. But this is paraphrase if it's the capsule injury self it's not good if it's the surrounding areas than that's the type of pain that you can kind of fight through some very curious 'cause Ryan did admit that there still some pain there. Where is the pain? That's where I'm curious because I don't want Ryan tannehill to go on a kamikaze mission and rush out here with the dying hopes of a playoff berth. When I still think even with Ryan tannehill under center, I do not believe we are good enough to make the playoffs this year. I'll be rooting for them. Like everybody else. Please don't get me wrong. But the colts are favored by eight point threes in the colts our foreign on their last four games there scoring at a ridiculous rate..

"He doesn't really have much distance on his throws or anything and this is a month and a day from when the injury happened. I know he's had a rough go of it lately, injury wise. But the dude I don't think we can really question as toughness. I mean, we can question how valuable he is. But I don't think we can really question as top nece. So if this guy is still reporting some significant pain after month of after this is already happened. I think you know, the the fact that the dolphins are of dialing back everything in terms of how much they're they're pushing him to get out there and makes throws I think you have to take into consideration that this. Is going to be a longer term recovery than the maybe we had hoped for. I'm thinking he's done guys. Sad. It's a sad situation. And I don't wanna be that guy. But I'm going to be that guy. When we all sat here all three of us leading up to the draft. And we all sat there on Twitter. And we said that it's not that. We don't like Ryan tannehill. We can still like Ryan tannehill. Who could also want insurance in case Ryan tannehill reinjured his knee or gets injured in some other way. And here we are. It was not even what four weeks into the season or absolute actually after four weeks of season. And the dolphins have a quarterback problem and Ryan Tanna hill may not play again this season. He may not play another snap for the Miami Dolphins and make if it's Patrick is an absolute stud and the back that he's a stud will help the dolphins. Get off the hook with this. Hit if he was if they pick someone else other than Minka Fitzpatrick, and that person turned out to be a bus less far. And it was still too early to call it that. But if that person was not contributing thus far this season. And you had a broadcast starting quarterback. Believe me, you there'd be a up war about why the dolphins not select a quarterback Josh Rosen, and it could be it could have been Josh Rosen time here in Miami. And we could've been looking towards the future. And who knows we could have been winning games. But in no way, am I saying mink, if it's back Patrick was the wrong pick because dude is an absolute stud. He's a shutdown secondary player. No matter where he is. And he's going to be a star in the NFL, but revisionist history they should've they should've picked the quarterback somewhere any lasts son in house. Not probably I we talked about this so many weeks leading up to the draft and guy hated on on Twitter. You know, you're not a Ryan tannehill fan you're not fan of this team. And it's just I mean, this is proof right here. I mean it had Nelson. Do Ryan tannehill do this health. Sure. This wasn't about as ACL injury that he had. But we're now without Ryan tannehill and Brock osweiler's quarterback. Just like last year. Was Jay Cutler something needs to change teams. Go out there and find their quarterback even frontier comes back on the cheaper deal, maybe compete starring John next year. But you need to do something because it's it's getting out of hand. And I mean, if they don't make this year, it's another prime example. Why it's because you didn't have a backup plan in place. Teddy Bridgewater would have been nice, but a rookie anything. I mean, they just completely abandoned draftsman quarterback. Brennan doubt. He was the only one that this. They've drafted sense Tanahun. It's it's been ugly..

"Dolphins land today member eight is all about Ryan tannehill. And the latest news regarding his injury. We are now finding out it is a right shoulder. Capsule injury, very complicated, very complex, no real timetable. No real clear vacation, what is truly going on this injury. Of course to his throwing shoulder that he injured against the Cincinnati Bengals towards the end of the game. When he was strip sacked and his arm just weighing a really tough spot going backwards. Trying to go forward all the same time, and thus leading up to this to help us sort. This all out we are joined by Dr David Chow of the San Diego union Tribune of Clayton football. And a board certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialists who spent seventeen years as the head team physician for the chargers, Dr Chow, of course, gives his input on many types of injuries throughout the NFL as they come up throughout the season, very well versed in his knowledge and the game itself, you could find him on Twitter at pro football, doc, Dr child thank you for joining us here on Finsider radio. All right. Dr let's get straight to it. You have seen Ryan tannehill from a distance. You have not examined him. You know, have any inside information. You've just seen him talk at his press conferences, you have seen the play. You've looked at film of Ryan a hill. And you know, the injuries that have occurred in the NFL over the years in a nutshell. Can you tell us what's going on in your opinion with Ryan a hill? Thanks for studying beltway. I've never right Jenny hill. That I've seen. From ill insider information here more insider knowledge from being in the NFL and knowing what these injuries are. And also studied injuries on video, and I did look at a video the Bengals gaming cetera of the jet. Joe shoulder. Rivers that he was out. There was talk about how he was going to be out because of the joy, spraying the raiders. I didn't believe that at all. But once I saw the video of the Bengals hit where he was fully. Ended up having arm. Stop by Carla Dunlap. That's why I wrote on October fifteen that there is worry assery injury. Which is spin. And that's just hard to predict and how do terms of line. However based on the article that I wrote yesterday from Ryan's comments. I don't think he's that close. I'm not trying to be human clue. But I think it's pretty optimistic to think that he'll be back after the bye. Doctor. You actually told the Palm Beach post this morning that you think Ryan I was more like with yelp for the season that he has to be back for the colts game. Now, you mentioned you had not examined Ryan tannehill just seen. What's been going on film, and so forth? If you're making assumption, right? And you have the experience to to do this. And to look at these things and kind of get a feel for what's going on. Why does it seem the dolphins can't find that kind of round as well? They've been saying for the past few weeks. We'll see about the ultimate we will see about the upcoming week is this comedy NFL to kind of lead. Opponents maybe down the wrong path toward you. They really feel like Ryan tannehill could get back on track sooner rather than later. I don't know. Dolphins are thinking inside the building. Not that. I don't know what they're. What they're doing. I always find that. Understanding. But if we did know all fast understand why they're doing. Could be misleading opponents they could be keeping alive players in the building. And Ryan tannehill optimistic there could be other reasons that I'm thinking of but your doctors good trains. I believe what they're doing on the outside looking in no way. Whatsoever. I'm just saying that Ryan told us. Yesterday once going on basically said he tore his castle. What I mean is he says we have to let the castle. He'll well, if there's no tear, what's the he'll he says the capital stretched, you didn't use the word tear, but stretched medically. At least partial share that's part of what I. A little while nothing wrong mystic..

"To the dolphins, a team that has to prized in the first three weeks due in part to the play of quarterback Ryan tannehill, Mike Reese plugged in in New England as always joins us. Now from Foxborough, Mike two players placed on I r today running back Rex Burkhead and linebacker to one Bentley. How does this affect the team moving forward? Good afternoon, Wendy significantly start with Rex Burkhead. They re signed him this off season three years. Nine point, seven, five million. The money tells you. They wanted him to be their lead running back. So what does this mean? Sony? Michelle, first round draft picks step right up your now. The lead guy in New England alongside passing back James white Bill Belichick saying this morning that Michelle is working hard. He's getting better every day, but he has a long way to go. Remember, you know, he missed all of the preseason had a procedure to drain fluid out of his knee has only played the last two games. So he's knocking off some rough. And as for John Bentley, you go back to Sunday night's game. He was leading the huddle, the communication device in his helmet that tells you and Tedy Bruschi will tell ya. He's really earned the trust of this coaching staff very, very quickly. So this is a big blow. Think back to the Super Bowl linebackers struggled and coverage. Ben Lee was really the one move this team made at linebacker in the off season. So they're sort of back to. They started at that position. Mike. Also, Josh Gordon inactive last week against the lions. Everybody wondering if we'll see his debut this weekend. Yeah, Wendy. There's two layers here. There's the medical side and the football side, and Tom Brady hinted that this is more about the medical and that hamstring that had Gordon limited in practice all last week Brady saying, and his Westwood One interview that when he's healthy and back out there, we'll see what he can do. Because on the football side, I can tell you they've been very impressed with Josh Gordon and the way he's come in here and worked offensive coordinator, Josh mcdaniels saying, he has no concerns with the way. Gordon is learning this system that is demonstrated the ability to do that. I was just out at practice within the last hour and I will tell you, Wendy Gordon looked like he was moving around better today than I saw last week my thank you. It has been suggested that Josh Gordon and the patriots, the way the patriots need, Josh Gordon that. In fact, this is a win win situation or a need need situation teddy do agree. You'd absolutely is because with a healthy, Josh Gordon, even as a decoy out on the edge, it's going to. It's going to open things up for rob gronkowski. That is an obvious answer. Everyone sees that because right now the threat, if I'm a defensive coordinator from the patriots offense is just tied in. I mean, I don't respect the receiver position enough in New England to say, we need a row covered somewhere. We gotta have a double team somewhere else. There's one guy we got to worry about in this that tie in and then you deal with tackling those running backs breaking up on those. But if Sony Michelle, you got a first round draft pick Gordon there, and he drops a couple balls on the third and ten in the second and ten all of a sudden now you don't have a running back that you're that you're totally faithful to. So there's a lot of things going on, but Josh Gordon is the one that can help if he's healthy because so far we have seen gronkowski really manhandled coach teams DoubleTree. They've figured out a way at least in the short term to manage him, and there's no doubt that the New England Patriots are searching for the wide receiver position. I mean, they went through twenty different transactions. They're trying to hang on one more week until they get joy..

"App right now, it is. Wow. Wow, that was impressive. I'm confused about this team because I've actually read more and tried to quote unquote study this dolphin St. more than in years past. Like I'm really trying to like figure this team out, and I feel like there's a disconnect between local and national. I feel like locally people think this is like the same type dolphins team like anywhere from six to nine nice wins in that range just like every year for the last twenty years. But nationally, this team is like thought of as I got the bottom, like every power rankings. You see with all thirty two teams dolphins are like one of the bottom three team. Yeah. Is there excitable you could speak to it best because I'm not saying that there's excitement down here, but I just feel like down here locally, it's just like this team is gonna just be what they always are. They're not gonna win ten games. They're not gonna lose four. They're just going to be what they've been for twenty years. I guess the counterpoint to how could they be anything different than they were last. It'd be better than they were last year when you remove the production of Jarvis Landry and get rid of dominating SU. Midway through the year. Last year, you got rid of j. giant who was pretty incredible last night and change the game of Philadelphia, but you got Ryan tannehill back, right? That's a big difference in the most important position because I know the jury's always going to be out on Ryan ehealth forever. You'll retire with Jerry being out on him, but I think we can say pretty definitively he's much better than shake Cutler, especially much better than Jay Cutler last year at that point in his career. Right. I'm not. I'm not. I think those two things cancel each other out all that, like we lost Landry and sue, but ten hills back. So that's why I think locally the perception is we got to hold back, but we don't have any stars to go with it. So it's just going to be that six, ten, seven, nine team ESPN has the Miami Dolphins dead last in power, right? That's what I mean. Said, last locally. Like everything a harsh, right? That's what I mean. It's kinda harsh. It is with a quarterback like Ryan tannehill who I know any good. I don't know of my Ryan's any good. I was making the Matt Ryan comparison point pre trial Shanahan's Antenna tanto. how I mean, nothing that Ryan that I saw last night which I didn't really get to see much because I was on a runway. Thank you American, but the game ran long. So I heard the third half of the third quarter and boomer size and was destroying Matt Ryan being an inaccurate quarterback, and then I watched it, whoa, Matt Ryan, as he got I it's never the most fleet of foot, but he is slow some men footed and in accurate. I know that's very good defensive, Super Bowl, champion defense, Julio Jones. Look, slimmer, looks better. He still can't score at all. It's the weirdest thing I have a strange take on Jones watching last night because he had a monster game. You look at those ten for one sixty nine or something nice, and he was just balling. But if you really looked a couple times, he looked like it's week fourteen. Yeah, every time he got up after getting tackled, he looked just like, I'm feeling great about that performance. If I had him. Fancy, but for the season, I'm thinking like Julio Jones could be getting hurt at any point. He was slow to get up even when nobody was tackling him. It running in a straight line. And even the cuts, I actually thought I paid a lot of attention to Julio Jones is here because he was a fantasy mistake because he couldn't score. I thought he had a terrible year last year and it turns out I think he was like leading the NFL in receiving right? Just because he can't score touchdowns anymore, but he looks slimmer..
