"What's up everybody? The day has finally arrived. Welcome Conoco's the bat edition. I'm your host David. I'm joined with Leo you wanna get nuts. Let's get nuts. Very good. Jen. I got nothing. I have nothing to follow that. Now, what's up? G welcome back. Thank you, only have man culture. Leo. Just went off and did that what's up, right? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. You went ahead a wimp tonight. These different Batman Ryan. Spider-man's batman. We are back and coming along on the ride for today's thirty th anniversary special is a new friend of the show. A new friend overall talk. What's up cov-? Thanks for having me, guys. And the pen is truly mightier than the there you go. There you go. All right. New guy had. Had we. It threw me off. I was like. But then I should have got that one, you should have done it the right way. You wanna get nuts? Let's get nuts. So as you can hear, we will be covering thirty anniversary of the most important book film of all time. Batman nicer, man. Actually, I do have I will be bringing up superman for anyone that does think that superman is the quintessential important book film of all time I do have some notes on that too, because you know I gotta give some love words to. But before we get into the movie, I, we're not gonna cover too much news today, if any we're not gonna cover what we saw this. We were gonna put full attention to the bat. I the only thing I want to bring up is to first reactions of two movies that most of us are looking forward to the first one is Annabel comes home, g you. You haven't been on, and if you weeks but Leo's intrigued, he doesn't like horror, but he is intrigued because the conjuring a universe, and he wants he may start watching him because it's all connected. So it's because it's like a marvel universe kinda yeah. Exactly, like, really, drew me in where I was like, wow. They're all these movies. It's a huge franchise. Now. It's like told me eleven movies in movies in that's enough to intrigue me to a. All right. Maybe I'll give it a chance. It's not marble. Yeah, but it's not marble they use. They stretched to connect a lotta shit. It's not like everything is intertwined. It's gonna lead to an eventual conjuring and game. Nothing like that. Look at that picture over there. Yeah, we're not going. Get thinner, six doorknob, the non the monster. The annabelle. So but it's still very entertaining. But here's some of the first reactions. The first one made me think of Jenn 'cause she likes us movie. So Annaba comes home is like adventures in babysitting as a horror movie and into damn good time. The scares her never repetitive the humor's on point. And there are plenty of creepy entities to freak you out. Plus, I love movies where it's up to the babysitter to save the day. Yeah. But adventures in babysitting is so much more knocking she has a senior, but she's already shitting on well done it. Have you seen adventures and babies? Good. It's such a great cast. There's music. They, they hang off of the what is it the right building? I think in Chicago, remember, we were in Chicago, and I was like, I think that's from ventures babysitting. And it was so, like, no. I don't like the comparison whoever that person is wrong. I can't wait for us to watch it. And she's like you know what? This is exactly like adventures in babysitting. The next one is. Yeah. Finally got get to say that Annabelle comes home is hell of fun like spending ninety minutes in a haunted house, and I had a blast with a and I know these music to Jesus. Here's ninety minute movie. Coercion only ninety minutes. I, I agree. Annaba comes home is a great, standalone film, as well as another successful chapter in the conjuring universe. Gary Darab Dabran. Does terrific job building the backstory Venable with while adding his own spin to this universe, and Degen? He's gonna love this. The female cast is great. I'm back. Annabel last week with a special guests attending seriously. I love the movie had a genuine blast with and I can't recommend it enough. Actually, I will say in child play. There was a pretty bad ass girl. But we'll talk about that next next episode. Do they talk about much? They use verifier Megan as you. No. None of them. They just talk about how like it's entertaining for the most part. It's a lot that it's a lot of people from the I'm not gonna read all the reactions. But a lot of them say that it's better than the last one and it did like the last one a lot. So. And then the last one, I'll refer today. Annable Annable comes home is an atmosphere, thrill, this Mensa conjuring franchise as Zee horror movie universe to reckon with just plenty more than just parlor tricks in the Warren's forbidden room that you might expect. I actually don't think they'll probably be ended a lot because it seems like they're just in it again where people come into the watched movie. Like in the train the trainers, like most seems like from some of the same scenes releasing using the Matan. Yeah. Agree. And then finally, we're gonna the Spiderman far from her home reactions, were released and to the shock of nobody's marvel has another good movie on the way I know Ryan, I know Ryan you were expecting. Done so from what I get, I'm going to read some of these tweet for mode. I get it seems like it's one of those, let's we know we gave you something hard in April. That's what she said. But we're gonna we found the perfect superhero to bring you down give you the next instalment. Okay. And pushed the MC you forward and seems like spider man from home. Is this biter them from home is wonderful? It's funny and clever and filled a smart Twiss. It's also made very incredibly visceral moments of class trips of your youth. I didn't leave the theater sad. I am not worried about superheroes, emotional states zendaya. Exclamation point. Man from home is the coda we needed after endgame. A glimpse of how the world looks now that the dust has settled could maybe have gone a bit harder on Ps emotional arc, but bursting with warmth, and humor, and awkward, t- romance, also, J G equals perfection. Oh, that's promise her. Yeah. For sure Spiderman homecoming is funny, exciting romantic goofy and follows homecoming. And being this brilliant ground level, look, as Spike's world and how the events of end games impacted everyday life, lots of twists and turns Pless some adorable summer romances to. I'm a big fan. I think Johnny's evening aside for the idea of a rom com. Superhero movie with Peter and. Now your crazy. I've already things in dies. A better Mary Jane than don't even Chris. Curson doug. Yes, she barely. Barely homecoming, and she's already better than her. Sarcasm is topnotch, wasn't even the lead chick in homecoming. She was like she never she is. Is she still was better? Mary, jane. She was just there to like quit. Renou. And then one of the other podcast I think it was Leo's like, who thought of a hot redhead and thought Kirsten. It was a I don't know man. I mean she's not like you would kick her out a bit. Now come. Okay. And then. Fair points. And then last one, Spiderman far from home is an absolute home run. It's so much fun. It's huge and itself. And for the future of the in the most surprising ways Tom hauling Jake Jila just a lethal awesome combo. I cannot wait to see this movie again. And again, so. Yeah. To the shock of no one marvel does it again. Will they ever make a bad movie? What's the proper before we was over was like a real, no? 'cause like four is not it's not in terms of equality. It's not up to par, but it's nowhere near a bad movie. I don't think it's a bad made movie like everything our property that you're like this could be as bad. It would've been guardians because no one knew anything about those characters. I, I got one but I think it's going to be an animated show. So I don't even think I have to worry about it, Howard, the duck. I think they could do you think would be able to do green stays on as Howard, the drug the. Really fantastic only I don't know about it. I he's like, maybe four lines in his whole iterative of the character. And it still awesome. I guess you're right. I mean he didn't know that he, he didn't know that he was in power. The duck was ING endgame until he saw. So I mean we'll see what. And Howard a duck is going to be a is it going to be a TV show on Disney. Plus, is anyone know or alcohol. That's what I heard. All right. All right. So let's move on to the to the main event superman. Yeah. Nice. So I did actually I did actually wanna start with superman for this reason. Superman seventy eight was released assembler fifty nine hundred seventy eight right? And I don't want to take anything away. It is the first well-made superhero does anyone disagree there. I agree. I agree. And the movie did open to twelve million dollars and huge. And gained a story that so I don't know just a little bit. That was a lot back then. Yeah. Let's see. Let's see. Inflation. I'm I'm doing the math now. So I love I hear the clicks. Clicks. Okay. So twelve million in nineteen seventy eight to today is forty eight million five hundred forty seven thousand four hundred thirty nine dollars and sixty one cents. That's still not good for the people. Go to the movies. Yeah. Oh, you you'll see where I'm going with segue segue, you up buddy in eighteen days. The movie made forty three million six hundred ninety seven dollars three hundred and sixty five cents that made that in three days. Why I'll tell you why marketing which brings me to the point of why this movie is the most important com book movie of all time, and we're going to get more into dive right into the marketing a little bit later but we're not taking anything from superman. It is a good movie for almost the entire run until superman decides to go back in time. But. Years went by, and we're wondering, are we ever going to get a Batman movie because of nineteen sixty six which Ryan loves TV show? We got we got the first iteration of Batman on the big screen, which with the nineteen sixty six movie, which have you guys seen that? It's been so long since I've seen it, I mean, that's where I see the shark. And you know. So so we see a lot in there. But we don't see the Batman iteration that a lot of people may have grown up on because things to the show, the comic books decided to go the camp, route two so moving forward in one thousand nine hundred three we're going to start talking about the production of Batman, eighty nine Tomenko. It's completed the script called the Batman in June, nineteen Eighty-three focusing on Batman and dig rations origins with the joker, and Rupert, Thorne villains, and silver, Saint Cloud, as a romantic interest. Are we nice? Would you have liked the silver, Saint Cloud? I'm not really a huge fan of that. So I would like nothing wrong with Vicki Vale by with that over Vicki Vale. I agree. Listen we're gonna get into Vicky. There's nothing Vicki Vale this first segment should be called. Listen. We're gonna get into seriously. The the original released for the Batman was supposed to be released in nineteen eighty-five with a budget of twenty million dollars. What it so much more. Why? That was originally. Make was had wanted an unknown actor for Batman William Holden for James Gordon. Jen. What eating Bill hold them for, for Commissioner, Gordon? Well at that time, he would have been much much older. To be a Cup. No, not too old because he did. I think his last movie was wasn't it broadcast news? But then he. Yeah. So that was those eighteen eighty three. I believe broadcast news, nineteen eighty-seven although Branca's uses eighty seven okay, also, it would have been fine. So you might have been okay who's an older gentleman. David. Niven Nyveen Niven as Alfred pennyworth, and this see that because he's British and this, this would have been all in, and I don't know g Leo. Kevin Ryan, you may not know who this is Jeff does heater O'Toole as the penguin. The name, but I think it was a family guy. No, no. Peter O'Toole is great as the penguin. Yeah. No. No. Veto paying no boss, so. Yes. So mak- which wanted to portray him as a mobster with the low body temperature but holding died in nineteen Eighty-one and Niven in nineteen eighty three. So that would never have come to pass a number of filmmakers, who were attached to Mankiewicz script or Ivan Reitman. That's crazy. Joe dante. But right.

"Found Cayenne VR tonight. Branch. Excited to catch up with man, we talked to a couple of months ago, he had this outstanding project that he's working on. It's gaining a lot of traction around the country. I've heard national outlets pick it up. Just Ryan spader. Back on kmby are tonight. Ryan. How are you, sir? Gonna talk to you again. Hey, what's going on guys? Which is hanging out. Really wanted you to give us an update on what's going on with hall of fame project. And I thought you were going to go the eagles to start out while I was going to end it with that. But if you gotta start out you want to start it off with the he texted me yesterday L F G, and if you know on the radio, we can't really say that. So now, I return the favor and say. WPF what happened that jumped out to fourteen nothing early? And then it was a decline after that. Yeah. I don't know that Ed really hurt. I really thought when when they will up seven nothing. I was like all right. All right. We're rolling a little bit. But in fourteen nothing, I was like, this is a deadlock and. Cannot square anything after that killed me with TIMMY Jernigan fan now, or do you think that he cost the entire thing is I mean? I mean to be honest with you the fifteen yard penalty come on. What are you doing? The thing that kills me. Through alshon. A rare drop to he only dropped three pass live at them. You will never live that down. So let's get into a real quick with the hall of fame only eight days away. I mean, everything that you have done with a bunch of us. The anonymous players some that have been known. I think it's getting to be a relevant because a couple of outlets one of the guys. Put your number's up against what the actual hall of fame voters have come up with in the known ballots. What what's your take where you at where where do you see this thing going? The biggest thing for me is. Of all this is I come to realize, I think Fred all famous, and he's not really getting recognition that he deserves. I put up a scat on him the other day after somebody brought some not and compared his batting average on base slugging home on Joe PS, plus or same graphs in baseball reference. Waited runs created plus in to current whole tamers that he's right there and. He's sitting around thirty five percent or so among writers players had him at I think sixty five right now. And then if you look with the unlimited votes, they've they've got him in the hall of fame as far as guys who, you know, beyond the ten, and I think that it's a shame that this guy is going to have to wait until the veterans committee, whatever whatever it's going to be because he hit four hundred ninety three hold on five hundred. At a time when he would have had five hundred at the ninety four straight ninety five never happens. Yeah. Well, well, Ryan it's interesting because Forbes picked us up, and they were there were wrote an article about what you're doing. They're specifically made your bad mentioning, Curt Schilling and Carlton Fisk. I mean, have you have you talked to anybody in baseball besides players about what you're doing. You know, it's so funny. You say that because. It's not that popular among the writers. Because they I think in a way most of the writers still good job. But the fact that letter is all it takes is one in four to do a bad job for these guys not desert. So most of the guys do good job. But it's not that popular moment because it doesn't really make them. Look good and. Fortunately, I think former Wall Street Journal does pick this up and both by guys who do. I think they have votes at this point. But you know, fortunately, they they picked us up, and you it's getting a little bit attraction. I only got. Let's see here. Thirty eight ballots in right now. But I've got another sixty seventy. Yeah. Hopefully, they'll get back to you before the twenty second. For the the deadline. But I think it's just going to show that, you know, ball players deserve to say, hey, what have you noticed as far as bias? Is there more in is there more than you thought coming from the players side towards the steroid guys. In to the PD stuff. He actually didn't really close between like specifically using like Barry Bonds and Roger Clements. But. For the most part. It's like Baker said it best. I think he's like you really think that Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens where the only guys to try to get every competitive advantage as possible, you know, and I'm inclined to my. Me personally. I didn't make test court ball in college. And I took every. You know that I could try to play ball and. These guys you're talking about ballplayers. Clements. How many juiced up guy did he strike you out or? How many home runs did? He hit off juiced up guys. Famous showdown with him and Eric ganja. That was awesome. I was amazing. It really was the beep. Hey, did he know what you know? What's crazy, though? I is everybody that you're giving these ballots who's I mean, I think the most outspoken been Curt Schilling talking about how he wouldn't vote or ever vote for anyone who cheated. But I wonder Ryan I wonder how many guys because bonds bonds and Clemens at the top of almost everybody's list. But how many guys would vote them if their name was off about if it was completely anonymous? I don't know. And you know, the schilling one it's tough for me. Because. Curtin is a pretty good relationship between the two of us. But you know, he said I would never vote for somebody who. I can tell you for a fact that he did on his ballot for somebody who cheat. And he just must not realize it or I don't know what he's you know, he's on his high horse. I'm not gonna talk guy. He he's helped me out with my charity a bunch. You think but enough he did indeed vote for somebody who who cheated which he said he would not do. But I don't know if it's because he doesn't realize it or because this particular individual didn't hit many hormones or something. I don't know what it is. But. It's it's been remarkable. How close be public DWA ballots are too. The player doubts have been in terms of guys like Barry Clinton's. So in conclusion do either one of them make it in. It's actually I think eventually but not this year. No, absolutely not. See, that's that's the thing. That's tired. Is that you know, whether it's Clemens bonds. I don't whatever you have to generational players that were unbelievable for extended period of time that you're going come on. They how are they not in like at some point. They just got to be like look. Bias aside? They were unbelievable. I mean on the pitching side Clements. Stopped everyone on the hitting side on stopped everyone their tracks. Just to watch what they were doing. Well, I think that Eric Byrnes said it best, and I really like the guy. Insane. Is badly. It was Barry Bonds, and Roger Clinton, and nobody else in all he said was I cannot admit anybody else until these two are in. And I'm like, you know. That's pretty awesome. I personally probably would've thrown Marianna were there on their, you know, a couple of other guys that like to take that stance in the position that he's in. I think that's pretty cool. I mean, I think it is as well. And it's just fascinating to me really the the stalling with Clements in bonds, especially when you look at how lacklustre the the off season is and popularity of baseball's declining yet, they're still making tons of money, France, and our talking the other night about how baseball may ten point three billion with a B billion dollars the highest that they've made. And you know, it's fascinating just how people view the game and what the game's actually making. I think it'd be good for guys like bonds and Clemens to get into the hall of fame. Yes. It was a period of time that people frowned upon. And it was the the dark chapter in the history of baseball. But it happened in can't take away any of the history. I mean, but Seelig is now what is he getting his own documentary, or what is it a book coming out on bug? What's the thing? We were talking about the book, it's a book book. Yeah. It's it's fascinating to me that everyone gives him the credit. But yet the guys who are performing and the ones we actually paid money to are on the outside looking in. Somebody had made really good friends within the past. Years is a pauper and Pulford had some issues with the. PD's he was named in a couple of things. But when he went before, and they'll be on thing that he said was hike. They're like why why did you do whatever? The guys on the wall. They were Sammy Sosa and Mark wire statues and skin glass, all all along the MLB headquarters, everything, and you know, another thing that bothers me with this. Limit of ten Baker again said it best. He said this votes dumb. Stop attempting to limit recognition greatness and Baker would have had sixteen guys on this ballot. If not in you know, a nonsensical as far as I'm concerned. I agree. Hey on the Phillies side brace and Manny there. Hopefully coming down to any decisions, you think any of them show up in Philadelphia, or do you think they're going elsewhere? I think I think the Phillies are gonna end up with rice. Honestly, I think he's gonna in or something like between ten and twelve years and three hundred three hundred seventy five twelve years. Yeah. But how many dads can be like ten opt-outs after each year? Oh, yeah. Gosh. What did did stay in business? Question have to look that up even think about the opt-outs in his Berg. I have to look that up real quick. 'cause that's me. I'm going to be interested is the first one where's the first opt out? If team really serious about it. You give them three you give them after three. And you say, hey, we'll let you choose. If we're good enough. You can go elsewhere or you can go get more more more pain. So I really think Philly's have a sort of a I guess I'll call it a George Costanza fantasy here that they have Bryce Harper and Mike trout in the same outfielder in twenty one. That's something. We also discussed the funny that you brought that up playing obviously living in fantasy land. But those two guys in the outfield on one team. I'd be amazing. It'd be a real mean, what do you say? I figured out a way to get Barry Bonds, Ken Griffey junior outfielder. That's essentially. I was thinking about that the opt-out for stand by the way, it's after the twenty twenty season. Okay. So what what is that the fourth year your after the third year because he came aboard eighteen eighteen nineteen twenty then he has the opt out if you choose itself, but his contract they signed. So after your five. Yeah. But it's any even if he doesn't opt out what's he looking at thirty million twenty nine. A bad, right. A million. It's a million for every couple of strikeouts. Oh, man. Yes. It is. All right. Thank you so much for hanging out with his man. It's good to talk to you. Again. I'm very happy that you're hall of fame project is gaining steam. I mean, we're talking about Forbes picked it up a lot another national outlets picked it up. And what are we eight days away now? So it's a fascinating thing, man. I hope you do it again, very soon. Yeah. You're going forward. I think in hopefully, you know, gained a little bit more ground. Hopefully, get a couple more. Let's get less. Anonymous. Yeah. One thing. Schilling said, and I know he's he's your favorite. But he doesn't take it should be allowed to be anonymous. I agree. I let it I let it be for the first year. You know, I thought it was right? I bet you get more guys. I would do it based on that. But I I don't see why a player should be anonymous on the whole thing at all. Yeah. Well, some of the guys he's actually figure out who they are. You know, the way the downloading all right? All right, Bryan. Thank you very much man's to talk to you again. It'll be I would be remiss if I didn't have a phone conversation skies and didn't call framing it still does. So. Yes. Estimate. Yes, you did win that. Take care. Ryan guests. I like the bet you wanna bet your mind is that why did that what was the bat. Tell me worry about you. I mean, you can figure out the bet right there with like you would never be able to do that. I could never do it. All right. Tech out. Ryan spiders Twitter. The ace of spader S P, E D or Twitter. We'll continue to baseball discussion. Coming up next talk Machado and Bryce Harper. Eight away be are is the number to offer. Kevin Franson of these sports leader. KNB are.

"Well, we'll catch up with Mr. spader coming up in a couple of minutes. See how that projects going? It's gone, some buzz, some other outlets nationally, people are picking up on. It's obviously a incredible idea. So looking forward to talking with Ryan common up at seven thirty. Yeah. Well before I got in here today. Everybody was talking about Clemson went to go. Visit the White House. See the dinner Donald Trump laid out for him. Yep. Three hundred burgers McDonald's. Wendy's and Burger King. Burgers, nasal buffet fast, food, any Taco Bell Taco Bell. That's when I would have left. Interesting. No talk about I would have left immediately. Interesting. Ten get over the wall. There. I should say. Who is incredible. This whole thing. Played out perfect. As far as to say that right there the government shutdown, and there's no workers. There's no foods. We just goes out and gets three hundred hamburgers. Guaranteed and pay for it himself. He said he did he's any personally did it. Apparently, he has one of the top restaurants to right down the street in DC. That's running right now, perfectly fine. How many people told me? Let's just think about all the places that are right next door old Evans girl is right there. He could have gone old habits girl paid for all the state. Tell me about the F P senior staple not familiar around the White House, restaurant wise. Do there's DC tons. Yeah. There's so many good. There's so much good. You're saying is there's plenty of options. Then yes, it was. Slap in the face. I think just to a college team that's going there for winning the national title to get. I mean, they're getting downgraded in this whole thing. Because of what they eat. At ala. Bama, Clemson most these big time colleges there they have athletic facilities with their own food. Jeff nice spread for them. Tat showed me a crazy tweet. What was what was the three food items? You showed me what Clemson players usually eat spread. The can't even say it. Fillet? Yeah. You know that that shirted steak steak crab, and then usually like some really good rotisserie chicken like they had a spread and a half. What do you think they thought when they walked in? They saw three hundred big Macs. Oh my God. We're going to. One picture of one dude we have about three big Macs on on a silver play silver plate. But here's feeling it. I would've I would've been here's what I think is a slap in the face what? Wendy's Wendy's dog s I wouldn't totally agree with you on that one not horrible. It's not my first choice though. Not even my second. I mean, if you don't even have Chick-fil-A in there. That's a problem for me. That's a big problem Chick-fil-A. You don't have Taco Bell and talk. It's a problem though. Chick-fil-a you're missing some of the key fast. Food components. I believe what did he got in and out from California. You pull that off? You can't fly double double animals on the east coast. Yeah. You can do both you go shake shack in and out for California for Clemson team. They don't. Yeah. They don't understand. They wouldn't get don't get it. But if you had like the best breads from all the states that's something pretty who has the best burger. What's the best burger? That's a debate. Because for me is in an allegory based on its for California. Strictly from California. That's the only reason why it's the best because I thought that brain awesome. It's the best shake shack is awesome. I you can get alcohol there, you can get a similar very similar in and out. I'm not saying it's the same very similar. But then you add in a little bit of a you have a beer, it's like the conversation Travolta, same Jackson were having a Pulp Fiction you walk into McDonald's and get a glass of beer. Europe trip shake shack. All right. What about you got the best burgers, I'm saying, no in and out for sure. But every single time I say something on Twitter, east coast people. Come after me about five guys. It's like five bucks. That's a terrible burger don't think it's that good. I never had a five gallon, whereas everyone crazy, they don't even come at me with shake shack. Because it's like, oh, it's not even like a burger, it's shake shack. She's opened up at the Stanford mall. And there's a line of it every single day. There's a line like around the half the mall whenever I get a NATs park shake shack right there. Oh, yeah. All right. I can take that they've been in and out burger at oracle park. Can you imagine that that'd be sick? It's to hell Don healthy fat is where would you put that though? That'd be great idea. I dunno just put it somewhere. Man. I'd be all over it. And would you ever have one one? What's central midfield part or central park? The Braves field Chick-fil-A everywhere. Awesome. I don't know I'm hungry now. Yeah. Just thinking about that celebrating a little bit. But yeah, I slap in the face the cleansing then. I absolutely do. That's what. What? Here we go. Look it on the text line four zero eight five guys is far superior to in and out. Gets in a fight with me about this. I just don't get it. Right there. That's in the south bay that San Jose. They don't count. Okay. We everybody guys. Good prime you like five guys. All right. Look, I was just curious what everyone food is to each their own. What what actually gets you going on it, right? You can't just decide like for me the best burgers this. I love the way you broke that down, sir. I really do. It's really if you really wanna know like if it's not a fast food chain chain place. Burger Mojo burger in. We'll Glenn amazing. Just let you know. Didn't like you yelling at them. Franson Texas out there now. Very happy with you. And you're out south bay brethren. What are they Brian Murphy? They're crying. What a what a horrible idea was to bring up the the Trump serving burgers to Clemson. We'll just we'll skip over that. Yeah. You're hitting hitting the best burger argument, which is the most controversial. This is awful this. Let's move on move on research. What's the worst best burger or best burrito? Right which book. What people will get irritated about the most. All right. A number. We'll get back into baseball coming up at seven thirty with Ryan spider. Obviously, we'll talk about his hall of fame project eight days away from the final vote. If you haven't heard about that. It's very cool thing that he's doing polling players, but who should be in the hall of fame. So catch up with Ryan in a couple of minutes to talk about that. But we were let's get back to the NFL. We were talking about the divisional round. We talked a little bit about the chiefs and the colts game. I thought it was really impressive. And I did think the Rams are gonna win that game sticking with Saturday. I did not think that they're gonna shut down the Cowboys. And really don't you think? Now that they're kind of in just this limbo. I mean, Jason GARRETT'S not going anywhere. And really if you don't get Zeke Elliott going what you get forty seven yards on twenty carries. I it's pretty much a rap for you. As far as your offensive game plan. The Rams came out right in the mouth and move on. And also thought it was a huge win for shot. Mcveigh obviously talking about last year. You know, the the magic mind that McVeigh has this was a big win for him. Now, he's headed to the NFC championship game against the saints. I think that's going to these four teams left in the NFL any combination going to the Super Bowl. I'll take because it's going to be highly entertaining. Ultimate match though. Rams chiefs again ultimate matchup dome. I wanna see the old heads go. I wanna see Brady and Brees. Hey, look, I'm going to tell you this right now. This is that one where I'm going to sit back on Sunday and just go. I don't care who wins because any of these guys I wanna go for I don't have any hatred towards any of them. I'm with you. You people? Here are going to be like your nine year span you go to Heathrow. I don't hate anything. Because right now. Number sixteens out there, and he represents Joe Montana. Every single time out am I can't argue against it. Candlelight the guy he might have a giant shirt underneath that. He might have a giant possible pilot if he did. He's a huge giants fans. According to his dad, we think he's sure Z would be underneath there. I can see I can see Goth being like all TIMMY, he still have a timid Aubrey like Aubrey huff shares e no, no. He would not be is not okay. No, I don't see him being the Cody Rosca either BUSTER, Madison. Timmy, Cain bustard. Like, you're not going to go wrong with Kane shirty, that's a classic. That's what he's gotta wear underneath. I can dig that. So that's why that's why I'm all dude. It's it's fun to be honest with you. I would love to see them go to the Super Bowl and see yet. Another L A team lose. Yeah. Right now, I I wouldn't mind it either. It's fascinating to think that all four teams involved in the championship Brown next week in the top four point points. And that's how it's supposed to be. And it's top four teams force point scores. Could be on the offense of side of the ball. I could be I mean credible. When it comes to that from the defense is our great. He's got a great defense out of the four whose great who's really everyone has a huge strength on that defensive side. Very true. Everyone's got one of three levels covered for sure. But no one's got two or three or three Eric berry to play. Eric berry played this week. Be fascinating to watch come on. I thought Andrew luck. Would stop them homes train that did not happen at all. I honestly I said that was one of the big ones I said everyone's too much on the cold steel has nothing to do against the colts fan. I just think the chiefs were that good. And at some point luck was gonna come back not back to earth down game in that dome team. I didn't see I didn't see Damian Williams going off for. Touchdown score to Costa finish out of their shoes on the way to the paint. That was a hell of a player. But then like the next thing, you know, the colts defenders are going. I got Jew because that was cold freezing cold. I locked up frozen tundra. I mean, just stop it already up twenty seven minutes. Now, he doesn't mean that was like a bad drought. That's why he doesn't go on air with them. He gives us these little quips in our ears. And it's just can we move on. Can we get two right? Mr Ryan spader. Champ says, okay. All right, Ryan spiders habit on next. We're talking about his cO collar fame project, which is just days away from that final votes. All on the waves. Robert Kevin Franson on the sports leader with.

"Yes. That was actually a great moment. My you d. You have it. I'm sorry. Yes. Eric davis. Of course, aired wasn't doing color for the forty Niners that long was each year to maybe that was quick. Now's really really great. That's my dude right there. Davis on the on the air with all due respect. And when I say with all due respect music. I say they want sure. Close on Tim right now. Tim ryan. Now hands down. I that. That's I mean, no doubt about Tim. Right. You just go off of the Yugo off a color analyst. And are you got them off every sports covered with crew Dallas brain you can put in there, obviously reform Jim Barnet's. Unbelievable. Tim, Ryan Jamie and Bret Hedican Jim Baker Lincoln Kennedy. Everybody around the entire still he has earned it yet for me on that one. He's all right. He's not horrible. I'm just I'm just saying like. I'm not going to give the I'm not giving the raiders, no. I wouldn't. I wouldn't say to you and say that to actually probably would. You're not in the same league right now doesn't mean that you're not primes really antsy today. Really ANSI tonight that I like it tired. Let's get into more of the NFL and the division around before we hit Ryan spider before we do that though. What's going on with Bryson the Phillies? How did that meeting going Vegas over the weekend? I was thinking about it on Saturday. I was thinking about it. Well, the games are going on. I was watching the chiefs. Are you thinking about? Just a fleeting thought Phillies harbor elegant make announcement this weekend now. Do things in play out. I think with him. You'll see I think you'll see this week Manny Machado side. The White Sox. And that guy was a eight year offer. What was it for two hundred? Don't don't believe everything. I don't believe that there. You know, I read the report that that offer would actually happened two weeks ago and just now everyone's no everyone's releasing because MLB MLB on their on Twitter put up this weird image just set offered Manny Machado, eight years two hundred fifty million in the way that it was kind of odd tweet I thought from baseball. Why would you put the offered on unless you actually signed unless it's exactly what you start the show out with. They're just trying to get people to watch. And see is there not a lot of action going on? Because it's so dull. Dole. I think there's more. There's more going on with this offseason than you would ever think. Because I think it plays out for the future in more than anything. It's gonna play out for where we see this game. We saw the numbers come out with ten point three billion by by major league baseball revenues up there up salaries going down. You know, the slow play on everything the last two years in free agency. There is more to peel back in this whole thing. And whether it's boring you or not I think it's actually intriguing because the game of baseball, technically. None a hasn't been in a better spot revenue is no the habit. I mean, this is that's the most money that they've made everything else. Gotta win though. Isn't it a weird dynamic what we'll talk about that with Ryan spader coming up at seven thirty coming up next. We'll get back into the divisional round. We're talk a little about the colts and chiefs. I do want to talk about Sunday's games crazy headlines storylines coming up after yesterday's games is true. However, Kevin France at eight away the number on the sports center with.

Now, he sucks a lot of people got a wrong, though, a lot of people including myself, although I did pick the Rams game. I was wanting three actually I was I was two and two because I did pick the saints. But that chargers game with surprising. I did not think the culture going to perform that way in Kansas City. Although we did talk about the weather being a factor, but pack Mahomes, just was surgical with Indianapolis and Andrew lucked did not look like the Andrew luck over the past few weeks is kind of regressed a second. You think or or you think that the the cheese had an awesome game plan? They got I don't think the chiefs defense is that good. I don't remember what they did. They did exactly what everyone else didn't do the last few weeks. They took two steps if you're the defensive line and just jumped and got their hands up. They were they've batted down what six seven balls on the day because they knew there and trying to get the ball out quick. The neared was frustrated the near didn't need a mock turtleneck on that one is twenty four seven at the half. And then that third quarter. I mean, there's a couple of moments there where I saw the neared getting a little bit testy little bit just a smidge. Let's get to the play of the day because we do have a lot of things to get to knock this out. Sponsored by farmers insurance from a dog accidentally flooding a liberal room to a dog taken a joyride, they've covered it talked to farmers. We know a thing or two because we've seen a finger to well. The play of the day happened seven years ago. January fourteenth two thousand twelve do you remember this? And if C championship game now, Alex Smith, Vernon Davis robot.
