There's no juggling does no you know what what are you gonna do for ninety minutes and hours. And he's but after watching these rehearsals. I'm telling you right now. This is the best show. I've seen in this room at fifteen years and it's the best. I'm such a believer. And i was like al. You may my day and that's the best that's the best. I could have gone from anybody from you bud. Osmond in vegas and he just opened his show and You know they had a long runway leading up to the show. And i told him i said i said yeah we have a you have four days to do everything and then even when i go back. I do dancing with the stars on monday. Mean up twentieth. I fly to vegas. We have one day of with costumes and everything and then boom on. So are you doing dance with scars and this all throughout bouncing back and forth is that what's going gonna work. I am i am i am i am trying to do my best ryan seacrest impersonation by having multiple multiple jobs. But you know you know brother like you know when you love what you're doing when you enjoying it. It doesn't feel like job. Just i feel very blessed very grateful to be able to do things much more pressure on. You actually have to perform so to but a lot more pressure on you. The might you have mice. You've all these mice no mine. Button is pretty easy to click. And that's good. Because i have to clear my throat a lot so i have to me to see all the time. I think you're always together in the same place zippers. So can you imagine many different places. I moved out on my own last year and so we still live nine minutes away from each other. I was last weeks. Yeah all right. So you know kenzi mattie here there. They've got a lot going on podcast. It'll be radio. Mattie course you've seen in the videos on of our favorite people here on the show. Can't he's got some new music. We're going to talk about. But i can tell you're in your own place and kenzi you're still at home because of the darkness of your apartment mattie and the difference in the furniture like i can tell this is like this is mine and i'm on my own type vibe in your place. Yeah it's like the polar opposite of what kenzi and my mom's house looks like which is needed. I think kenzi make envious money. That she's there she's moved out. Oh i love. I love living with my mom of course but i'm just so obsessed with ninety nine. I just wanna live in it. But it's nice now. Mattie is you guys have had a very close relationship growing up right. I mean the two of you are tight and still tight. Yeah we're best friends. We literally like we've grown up together. Obviously and we work together. every day. we used to fight a lot because we're only twenty months apart and then once we stopped working together we'd like suddenly became best friends and now we enjoy the time that we get to be together. Especially that's why we wanted to the podcast. Because we're like we need something together that we can enjoy and show our amazing relationship that's formed over the years and yeah she's literally my best friend so kenzi tell us about. The podcast is unique concept to tell us what you're doing kenzi. Yeah so we wanted to make podcasts. That would fit for everyone. So it's only twenty minutes because you know with teenagers. I mean with me. I can't even listen to podcasts for more than thirty minutes. so yeah. We decided to do that. And it's it's all about you know we've talked about topics like Powell's we talk about body image. You know even just talk about e sisters in our relationship which is really awesome. And i'm excited for everyone to see how we actually together. Because i feel like the only thing people know of us from the show so well when you say the show of course dance moms now. What about this is big news. Have you ever. What about working with steven spielberg when you're as young as maddie ziegler. So she's going to be in west side story directed by steven spielberg that to say legendary iconic event. That's going to happen now on the big screen. So tell us about that. I honestly i'm still in shock. I don't know how that happened. But it was one of the greatest memories. I'll have with me forever. I don't know if anything will be to talk that. Being able to work with him at the age of sixteen it was the most incredible experience at account february. The because the cast is incredible. Steven spielberg is like even nicer than you would picture. He's like the nicest sequent tursi quiet he actually is. He's like really humble in sweet and just like kind and respectful. And i don't know i. I wouldn't say i'm surprised but you know with someone as legendary is him. You would never know. And he is like such a gentle giant. He's so nice. He seems he does he. He seems very very nice. And then kenzi. You've got a song coming out on friday. Tell us about it. Yeah i've been working on is occur a long time now. I think i finally have found my sound. So i'm also coming out with an ep six. That'd be really exciting. I'm really nervous because it's very different than anything done. But i'm excited for the world so the song that you're gonna put on fries called happy for me. What makes you most nervous about. People hearing happy for me. I think we talking about my horrible accident. But i feel like that's every song now so dear xs know anything about the song. No no they are. You gonna look comments from your ex's now. So yeah i'll i'll find them and yeah no kidding. She so what you're gonna say. She's so like mature and responsible in live like she doesn't even feed into the drama. Which i'm just like. It's basically just saying like. I'm happy for me now and i'm happy that i integrate relationship so it doesn't really dwell past. It's more of just like a conclusion. Like i'm finally happy. That is that something you speak about a lot. You know what. I don't know i i think it's just the example in i guess i live in exist and they get to see it that way. Like wow they should just say that you had the thought and then it happened. And then i guess that's how they learn. I don't go around preaching it though definitely seemed to have worked for you now sitting here tania's here sistani. She is got to twins and a baby on the way relations. Tiny is just fallen in love with this guy named rob send you all the facts on him but but you also in addition to doing what you do for work. Which is you know. A kind of a glamorous gig you also live a normal life there at home too with with your son. What is a normal night like there. Jen for you at home when normally when i'm at home i had eight boys in the house alone. Mice mice is cousins. They all like to hang out. And i like them how they look community. They play a lot a lot of basketball. And i'm very involved. Mom where i get out there and i play with half the school them and let them know where he got his basketball skills from bike riding. We love to bike ride. We love to spray paint things and there. We love to get it in a car. Every play a song and to meet us. How gets learn about them. What they're into like. Now you play your song and he would chew on play. Oh where did you get that from that. Lets me know your evolved and do you know so i. I'm kind of like one of the boys with the boys. We have cheese tasting so all the boys and now we get together and we have different cheeses. This keeps them social. Because you know kids today they just want to be a phone and is that why would you ask for all your cousins to come over when he's going to be his phone. You're going to be a your right. This is weird so to get them. Us all to communicate. We've created this cheese plate where we have a platter. Everyone gets to pick a cheese and we discussed the cheese. Like you like this. But it was my dream to as well and that's a lot to process at the take care right you know so. It's like still to this day. And that was fifteen years ago. We had a meeting about playing her. So doctors asking. What are you craving now. This week i am craving peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Me true and i think because the kids go to a nut free preschool so i cannot pack it in their lunch and on the weekends i make them a and j. just to kind of like supplement the fact that they don't get to have one during the week and then i ended up making myself. Where did this nut free world. Come in nine growing up nuts. Were part of the food. pyramid tone. Kids are allergic and so to make sure that there's just no incidents and there's no kids allergic to it when we were in school. Yeah good question. Maybe they were but maybe the schools carol's the rules were implant. I know right. I was the eight hundred ninety eight figuring it out as we went. Your baby is the size of please use choice. So i have really troublesome periods like really bad really bad cramp days really heavy flow days and i talk about it a lot on my podcast and i got inundated with messages from women telling me that i should look into cycle thinking and this whole theory behind how you exercise and how you eat based on your cycle that the time of the month that you're in it's all one because we only focus on the menstrual phase which is when we're having our period but it's all connected and let's balancing your hormones in a natural way and so i've been doing it for the past month and a half almost two months where i'm incorporating. There's four different phases and you tailor your workouts to each phase and the food that you eat just incorporate different vegetables and seeds and things like that and i just had my period and i didn't have as bad of a period as i normally do and so i think that there's something to it so it's working. I think it's working and it's it's all just it's all natural stuff. I'm just doing it through the foods that i'm eating and the way that i'm working out which is very you're working out with like the new. Don't run on like your first day of menstrual. Like you do like something more. Yeah so like. You're when you're when you're on your menstrual cycle. You should be doing more. Yoga meditating not putting a lot of pressure on your body. Which i never did when i was on my period. I was running ten miles. I was just forcing myself to do it. And it basically had like the reverse effect like your body's fighting it saying like no. You're supposed to be resting right now. It's the body is such a crazy cool thing and like i'm starting to pick up on these different phases because there's like a full liquor phase alluvial phase in osceola tori phase of the menstrual phase. And i'm starting to know when my body's in each as is this these when you say eat or these part of the parts of the diet. Yes so it's essentially just like different meats and fruits and vegetables and seeds that you should incorporate into your diet so it's not like i don't eat certain things outside of each phase you. Eating oysters says oysters here days. One of five right. But there's also there's other options. So like i do other options. I miss an oyster. It's really right now so as anyone ever tried this patty. You have any experience with this. No but i wish i could. I think that sounds very interesting and healthy. Actually for that matter yeah. I've never tried it. I've never had to i. I'm lucky that. I don't have cramps sir. Experience for women. When you talk about this upper you go to your your.
