But it almost seems like it's been the opposite. Where being in the bubble on that experience, whether or not it was so you know, mentally draining or not. They want a cup at the end of the day, so I think that experience and trusting the process is actually really helped them in terms of being able to be prepared. For the start of the season. You know, they got a taste of the Stanley Cup in it Looks like right now They're hungry to find another one, and they realize it's it's going to take work. And it's not. You know, the Stanley Cup is a long ways away. Still so It's impressive to see you know how hard they battled and games. I don't think we see any rust and like you said, I don't see any signs of a Stanley Cup hangover from this group in the way they're committed to playing the right way in the way. And you know, they have three straight wins now and looking at this division in the new ally in the realignment Right now, Tampa Bay is the team to be really they are, and I think they got off to a great start. Yes, I think maybe they were finding some of the kinks. Early in the first period tonight, much like they did against Chicago in the first game of the season, But Azi. The game went on. You know, they have so much talent up and down the lineup. They're complete Team. Basil s feel like we talked about earlier. Greg was great net for them. So I think there's a lot to build off of if you're the lightning right now, and you have to be pretty pleased. If you're John Cooper. I think Steven Stamkos has been Excellent for them. In the face of circles, Brayden Point mentioned. He's huge, and just having him back at full strength has been a bolster for this team and their bottom six. I think has also outplayed so far, Chicago and Columbus in that sense as well, getting contributions up and down the lineup. Then you look at Ryan McDonagh two on the back. And you know we mentioned by the left you, but he was huge as well and coming up with some offense and Yes, There's some things to work out, but a great start for the lightning and a lot to build off of like I said. Started to see them generate a lot of scoring opportunities. Brayden points on the breakaway with the slap shot that was saved, but Blake Coleman, making a play defensively, then right there on the doorstep to get Tampa Bay on the board and then Matthew Joseph with a big goal to give Tampa Bay A 21 laid Ryan McDonagh picking up a couple of assists, chipping in offensively and Say John Cooper feels a little bit better about his team's performance so far. I think so. I think in the second period they were the more dangerous team. They had Some great looks in transition, including the two goals on you mentioned Ryan McDonagh. We've seen his offensive ability and he definitely has that component of his game. Although with, you know the offensive minded defense when they have and Victor Hedman and circuit shelves, and last season they had Shattenkirk as well. You know, they had plenty of offense back on the back. And so it was great to see Ryan McDonagh step up in transition. He's in the right place. He's such a smart player. I think where we see his greatest strength is just his ability to anticipate plays and parks. And I think we saw that on offense when he joined the Russians in the right place. Patient makes that pass on both goals and they were beautiful. So Huge by him to step up and give his team a little bit of a boost. There. They have a nice lead for the first time and like you said, I think the first period maybe a little bit of rust in some ways, just from having had a few days to practice and rest. It took him a little bit to feel out and find their games. So I thought they looked a lot better and had a lot more relentless pressure on the four check in the second. Matthew Joseph, of course, playing as somebody who wants to stay in the lineup. Kayla, we've talked about this before. But you know when you are, I want to say, Ah Bubble player, but somebody that doesn't have a set space. Set spot in the lineup. You want to be productive every game. It's not always gonna happen, but so far he's looked pretty good. He has, and I like to see players like that, too. It's not easy when you get sent down after you know you have an incredible rookie season certainly show why you deserve to be playing at the NHL level. And then his confidence dipped a little bit. You know, In his second year, he had to go back down to Syracuse and kind of refined his game and work on a lot of things. You've got plenty of practice in the bubble is well, he said. And it's great to see him come in with a chip on your shoulder. It's easy to kind of play the blame game, but it certainly seems like he took control over what he had control over in this offseason. He's being rewarded for it now with his speed and his relentlessness, and it seems like he's Returned back to the Matthew Joseph. We saw and then some Lastly, we got about 30 seconds. "Under the salary cap once they they put Dooney Avis on waivers today. He's expected to be on the taxi squad. Will, you know?
