"Well, I thought about that World Series. It's still I'm still stuck on Cooper Cup. Not making the touchdown catch in Seattle last year. Dropping the ball gets Minnesota. Yeah. Or why did you go to Ryan Madson in the? Game four. Oh my God. Now seventh inning of game four. Yeah. No, I get stuck in these moments. And but I, but I feel like tonight is a night. That's just all round great for the NFL and gray. You know what? There was so much doubt about the NFL coming back to Los Angeles. Oh, the the allies fine without the LA. You know, they just transplants and nobody's tonight's a night to really establish the Rams as a national presence on Monday night football. Yeah. Where are we going to get by without a team? Sure. Sure. Twenty years we've been doing a look at this. You know, what's better? It's like and then like Jeff Fisher came along. And it's like you. Probably wasn't a good idea. How many maybe not? And now, it's it's you hire Sean McVeigh. And it's like, whoa. Yep. This is a product. This is something that is exciting to go. See? And I I remember talking to Fisher about this about less need we've asked Kevin demo on the air. Like, it's not just let's go be good. It's like, let's go be good. In an entertaining way. Let's put on a show and a product for people that people want to come see. And like, I just feel like this is one of those games. Like the odds of this being a bad game. Feel really low to me Rams are gonna win. I have no idea the idea that this is going to be somehow like a really disappointing game. That doesn't entertain people. I don't see how. Want to see a ten like you love ten three sky. Mccarthy are general managers just said oh watch. It'll be ten seven. No, no. It'll be ten seven ten seven four day. Yeah. It's ten seven. Now. It's already ten seven. You know? I remember saying that during the Jeff Fisher, I'd said, you know, what I don't care just make it fun, and they made it fun and they're winning right after they fired. Jeff ish after they fired. That was fun. Yeah. Well, Sean McVeigh the fun part. That's just as amazing like we the with regardless of what you think about Dave Roberts has been to two straight World Series. The Lakers have Luke Walton news considered one of the brightest young like there's a setup right now in LA where we could have kind of legacy coaches. Yeah. For a long time with all the franchises that matter in like, really deep success. Yeah. Like, it's a fun time to be a lesson. Plus, we got clay Helton. Yes. For another fourteen years, Courtney Klay L. Fifteen years left on Monday, the twenty eighth right? What if they Notre Dame's new Monday the twenty nine twenty eighth it could be Notre Dame? Yeah. All right. Why could not be more excited? Let's see. I'm going to be on the metro. I'm driving home the getting on the metro then coming back down. That's what I'm doing best way to go. I always support the metro when we do these reads like that's one of the sponsors station for Laker games. Aim for Rams. Yes. But like this is one of those deals where it's like, no seriously people. Yeah. It's rush hour. Go. It's rush hour to the game starts at five. Fifteen on the metro all around that state. Yeah. Don't don't drive. No, don't do it..

"Now is there room to maneuver been within that framework shirt? Like Roberts could do a thing. But I if you guys think Ryan Madson came in just because Dave Roberts kept going to him. You're crazy. He was he was under orders to pitch Ryan Madson in those situations. Do you disagree, Greg? I think there has to be some semblance of of Dave Roberts being able to make that decision because there's no I don't think that it anymore the game warm up in the bullpen. No. Because they after the game they said that bias and orients were unavailable. And who do you think told him that the upstairs management said that? And here's the thing though. I mean, you're telling me that in the World Series game in a must win game. You have not must win hate that. But whatever is no when you're in the World Series. Everything's I must wait. Okay. Go with you. Okay. Fair. And then so you had Byas had thrown forty one pitches. Total with a day off in between. He had twenty six pitches in two innings the day before so fair, but orients in those he pitched in four games and three games with a day off thirty five pitches. You're telling me you're not available on a back toback day. Why are you on the roster? If you're not available by the right guy to go into that right there mind mats. And even if they told you stare, you gotta have some idea would be like, hey, Pedro bias has been our best pitcher. We're in a tight situation here. Ryan Madson gave up runs the last two games. You can't go back to them right there. I just think that people are irrational. Oh, by the way. Speaking of irrational, did your Mason lose it yesterday on that call at could be any day. Okay. So I'm going yesterday. Mason got a call from this guy. Ben in LA Morada. Listen to how unhinged Mason is. All right. Gregg, says Ben in LA. Maradas? Excellent. A you're on ESPN LA. What's up, man? Yeah. First time caller, long-term listener. Arctic mission should be fired. Dave Roberts should be fired. Andrew Friedman fire David Bethel as fired everyone fired over the this is a necessary. Do news firing. Nathan's Victor analytics wants to study analytics all the time goal with Janssen go with. And let me tell you something that is not an lyrics. No analytic say kenley Jansen should go in for a six out save. That's either. That's that's either Dave Roberts on feel or Friedman saying put Jansen in. But that has nothing to do with analytics that has to do with understanding your players in understanding your bullpen in the way it works. What did it have guys with gray hair? You have gray hair Nutley should have been on the postseason roster the World Series champion. He were saved us. I tell you that the you lost me that you have to wait a minute. But you, but he's got a really good point. I mean about shea at least he couldn't have been worse than the players. They tried it out there in the World Series Muncie to thirty five Grendel two hundred Machado one eighty to screw Machado get out of town. Blowing a bubble on his way to first base. Listen, ben. As far as me being fired. I'm not gonna be fired because we all know you left the game early free. You left the game early on ruin what night? What warranted? It any painting that you. Here's what I here's what I would recommend. Here's what I would recommend. Here's what I would recommend. Here's what I would recommend. Ben, go to my Twitter timeline and watch my video of the end of the game. Okay. Watch my video of max months. He's home run my ass. I left that game early. All right. Ben, did you notice anything unusual, but that call? I didn't it sounded like another episode of Mason in Ireland nothing out of the ordinary. He seems a little. Seems a little wound up. I little in his timeline. Seve's been tweeting and Instagram being a lot more recently. Yeah. So I think that he's a little wound. What about the caller? Did you do you notice anything about the caller?.

"It just felt like they weren't going to relinquish it until I guess game four where for a while there. It. Felt very much like the dodgers who were about to even things up. And then who knows where things would go from there. But I mean game three just because it went on so long really had something to do with game four. I mean game four was set up by game three by the bullpens being depleted. That's why we got into this spot where both managers were wrestling with leaving their starters in just to get some length. And so that's what often happens in these three portion of the two three two in the seven game series. Because that's when you start running out of guests, and you've used a relievers, and you have to actually care about those things which you don't if it's just off day after day. It's interesting one of the things we so after a game for ended. And there was all the second guessing of Dave Roberts. Nice job. And a lot of people. It was it was revealed that both Pedro Byas and Julio Rheos not available after having read in game three now. Hooley reassert make some sense. It's coming off major surgery cetera. You don't wanna work him on back-back days. But the fact that Peter bios didn't come in and Ryan Madson did at cetera. I think they're a lot of people were confused. Why that happened? And then the Roberts the bias wasn't available. But I think something that maybe maybe this has been written about, and I just haven't read it yet a lot to Rian. But it's interesting that bias was deemed unavailable in the dodgers had some players who are deemed unavailable from time. Whereas it seemed like everybody on the Red Sox was available all of time Christ warmed up or anything. You have all just warmed up like every single game. It felt like I don't know. It's easy to see that or interpret that as some sort of testament to the Red Sox managing and their their spirit. Maybe they had more heart than the dodgers did. And of course, I am disinclined to believe that. But it is something that I would like to know more about because it did feel like the Red Sox collectively were just more inclined to lay it all on the line. And just go. Just push like step on the gas. All the time just constantly go for the jugglers people kept saying over and over in a very grizzly way to talk about playoff baseball. Yeah. But it was also weird to get to the point where people are talking about the Red Sox might bring a Nathan the of all the out of the bullpen. They're going for the jugular like what are we even talking about anymore? But anyway, it is interesting. And I don't know maybe there's something there, and maybe not maybe I've just barring buying into much to the media narrative that's already been established. But everybody on the Red Sox seemed to want to be pitching all the time. Yeah. I know David price said that he told Cora he was available for every single game. Which I mean, you know, I'm sure he meant it. But there's a certain amount of I wash there. I guess if you're just saying put me in coach when you know, he's not gonna put you in because you're not gonna use David price and every single game. But yeah, it seemed like they were all willing to and there were starters. I mean the dodgers had starters in their pen. From the beginning of the playoffs or from late in the season. When would went there and made it went there. So it's it's not necessarily unique to them. But the Red Sox were still using pursell. Oh and vault the and sale as starters and price and also using them in the bullpen at the same time, which it's not like something the Red Sox pioneered. I don't think there's a a long history of starters being used out of the pen. This was more liberal usage of it than than we typically see. But again, that's something that the Astros kinda did last year they were trendsetters in that respect. So I think yeah. I don't think that Dave Roberts did anything horrendous in game four I actually thought that Alex Cora made the worst move of the game in leaving at weta retrieve as in as long as he did..

"We only get to do a handful of championship shows per year. An a few of those Olympic gold medal shows some golf majors. Every now, and then and ask car or tennis championship. But the four big ones our hockey basketball football, college football too. So I guess we can throw that went in. And then baseball, which is the last championship. That we will celebrate. Last championship that requires a coronation in two thousand eighteen and that's where we are end of October. And this is this is our last championship of the calendar year. And we waited a long time we have to go back to June. Since the warriors and the capitals one their titles. And now here we are fast forward a few months that feel like they flew by in a blur. We haven't forgotten you Alex Ovechkin here we are the last team championship to be handed out the World Series, the fall classic. And it's the Boston Red Sox after what was some kind of fascinating weekend. Think about all the baseball that was crammed into this weekend, not three games. But for. An eighteen inning seven hour and twenty minutes affair on Friday night. If you stayed up and watched the whole thing, especially if you are baseball fans on the east coast or in the central time zone. I would love to hear from you. Eighteen eighty innings seven hours, twenty minutes, the longest game in baseball postseason history alert, and it's ended by that max monthy home run in the eighteenth. But there is so much that was crammed into those eighteen innings forty six players eighteen pitchers five hundred sixty one pitches thrown that was one game kind of. And then you go into game four. And you've got a four nothing lead for the dodgers going into the seventh inning. Theoretically nine outs away from tying the World Series after Yossi El Puig home run in the sixth for the dodgers. But what are the Red Sox? Do. They jump on. That dodgers bullpen starting with Ryan Madson. Of course, nine runs in the final three innings with the Mitch Moreland homerun. Oh, hey, Steve Pearce tied the game with his solo shot off kenley Jansen and then had a bases. Clearing. Double in the night to break things open. So Steve Pearce little bit of foreshadowing Mr. MVP with his four RBI in game four and the Red Sox ran away with that one and put themselves on the brink on Sunday night. And wouldn't you know, it's David price getting the nod from Alex Cora who? Okay, only had ninety eight percent of his decisions work out perfectly in this postseason. But David price allows just one run on three hits. He has five strikeouts. He goes seven innings he out pitches. Clayton Kershaw who may may have thrown his final pitches as a dodger, but seventy two hours now for he and the dodgers to work something out. But the Red Sox get to Kershaw for three home runs over his seven innings. Mookie Betts finally gets off the Schneide you end up with a JD Martinez homerun. And there's that man again the patch and he swings a drives want.

He he's going to be a factor though. You'll come off the bench and play. Oh, yeah. Oh my goodness. Terrific. The best defensive outfielder. I've seen maybe since the ninety red. Listening to listening to JD Martinez interview the other night on there. I want to hate these guys. And I can't you. Yeah. They're good guys. Good guys. I I I don't hate the dodgers anymore. Like I used to. Here's the reds were Ruggles all the best in baseball back then but. I like day Roberts. Really do. And you know, it's it's tough to manage a club like that. They get all these stars. I mean, look look good. They have on the bench. He's got Drake. Keep everybody. Happy. That's crazy. Well, and I'm getting tweets saying check how little karma for Ryan Madson. Yeah. He likes to throw a Joey Vardon. And not only that. But you're right. I what goes around comes around baby. I thought the walking should have been. Benintendi..

"Of the way the news for the Red Sox. With a lead late BUSTER Ryan Madson has allowed five inherited runners to score in this World Series. So factor fiction. Dave Roberts will turn to someone different out of the pen and a high leverage situation tonight. I'm gonna say fact, I think is perfect scenario would be to use buyers and kenley Jansen late. But I will tell you this knowing how the dodgers always relying analytics the analytics say us Ryan Madson fifth and sixth any maybe not the highest leverage. You will use them. Interesting. Tim factor fiction. Dave Roberts will not sit his top four homerun hitters again in this series. I'm going to say, that's a fact that was historic would Roberts did the first two games. And I think he learned a lesson. I think the entire organization learned a lesson. This is more than just about the numbers when Cody Bellinger until last year degree, max months. He's in there. There's a different feel to that team. And I can't imagine Cody Bellinger, not starting another game. I mean, I think he's going to start every game the rest of this series. Buster Only Tim Kirk Cina factor fiction from Dodger Stadium before game three of the World Series. Buster the Red Sox are keeping JD Martinez bat in the lineup. He's in left field tonight factor fiction. His. Defense will make Alex Cora rethink his strategy for game four tomorrow. Fiction. He cannot imagine his lineup without JD Martinez. Bookie that's going to be the MVP. The American League this year, the heart and soul of that offense is JD Martinez with what he brings and regardless of how much he can cover Alex is going to keep keep him running him out there. Tim BUSTER final. This is both for you, Tim. We'll start with you factor fiction. The series will be headed back to Boston. I'm going to say fact, and I'm in the minority on this one. But the dodgers play very well here in even though the Red Sox have been unbelievable on the road in the postseason. I've seen the dodgers play so badly at times in the postseason. And then suddenly they play really good again. We're really well again. So my guess is they're going to win two out of three here. I picked the Red Sox and seven to begin with I'm sticking with it. I'm gonna go fiction. Okay. It's not going to go back to Boston. Again, Tim proves he's just too nice guy. The meeting. The Red Sox are overwhelming. The dodgers this World Series BUSTER only in Tim Kirk from Dodger Stadium more from them coming up in just a little bit and don't Miss World series game. "A five one lead brick for the dodgers over the brewers at Ryan Madson about this. He just got the the brewers three up three down to the bottom of the sixth the Dave Roberts. Why would he saw so much? He's going to send them up to hold a bat as he stands in the batter's box. We want you to play a statue in this play riots and two non speaking part. It's a non swinging part. You will get you will be in the credits though with you. Let's see if there's any swing coming. First pitch. Fastball down the middle first-strike Madsen. In his career is six for forty nine. But thirty three of those at bats came back in two thousand and six when he was a starter. He has not had it at bats two thousand sixteen Neo one is down at away of all in the strike. But obviously it was a quick three up three down. We talk at October. It's all about trust for a manager. With what pitchers he brings it advance to a guy because he's been around so long that he's had so much success us earnt that trust one and will take strike to the dodgers are dying outs away from returning to the World Series. Dave Roberts wants Madsen to get some more of those outs. And if it holds the good news for the dodgers is they don't have to play the Astros and the one two and their strike three calls so bad sit down on strikes and the bad news is they gotta play the Red Sox. Let's go. They lost the Astros last year. Oh, good. We're not play them again. But you have to play the Red Sox. So. During the regular season. Alex Cora the Red Sox? Probably watching intently, of course. As they wait to find out who they're playing back to the top of the key k Hernandez came out as a pinch hitter. Or Jack Petersen back in the third one hater came into the game. He struck out of both at bats against eighty four cannibal is now throwing at the Milwaukee bullpen the first pitch from Jefferson skit for Trump. No, interesting Roberts is going to bring bad sit back out. Usually you see at any for this guy. Did it for the next guy at again,.

"Dave Roberts still has at his disposal. Ryan Madson Pedro bias kenley Jansen. And if he wants him Clayton Kershaw, he's only used bueller. And that want to be out. Now, there's four Taylor is getting is prolonged. You know, two key moments yellow facial RIA, so the bottom of the fifth hits the left centerfield detailer just makes a great play to save a run. And then the speed of Balladur allowing him to beat out the ground ball reach on a fielder's choice getting up there. It's a three run Homer off Jefferson with two outs. Now, here's Austin a bar. Bryant dosier has come out of the deck circle in the pitcher spot. The set by Jeffers. The pitch swing and a man. And like the regular season for the dodgers tonight. All the runs have come via the home run. Dodgers first in the National League in home runs percentage. Two thousand eighteen regular season. It'll be Matsuda coming on for the dodgers. Who's ready in the bullpen right now? Here's the oh. Onto Barnes called strike too. The crowd is trying to get its Azam back. But it's just a sliver of what we have heard in other games and other moments Milwaukee such a good whole thi this year fifty one and thirty the regular season split the first two one last night without trailing regained seventy. Oh, choose strike three call that's all for parts of the dodgers. But not before we get to three rod Homer off of Jefferson and just like that the dodgers lead five to one point to the bottom of the sixth. "Championship series in six seasons. But they'll be on the road this year. They do not have home field advantage. They'll be on the road in Milwaukee to take on the brewers who haven't been there since two thousand eleven Manny Machado with a three run home run as you hear Charlie Steiner say on the dodgers radio network his signature moment since the dodgers traded for him with the Orioles before the deadline, David freeze. I mean, this guy's that postseason killer the postseason giant, and he comes through with a big hit as well. And so between the two of them and a pitching staff that while it wasn't Perfect Did the job against the Braves Aben. But not break kind of a thing. Richhill was the starter. Ryan Madson actually got the win. Pedro says we saw Ken to my ADA in a non save situation. We saw kenley Jansen all. These guys getting their work. And I'm not sure Dave Roberts could have drawn it up any better. It wasn't a sweep like we saw with the brewers over the Rockies. But it certainly was a theories in which you against saw the home runs because that's what the dodgers do. They said a National League record for most home runs in a single season in two thousand eighteen nerd alert and think it's a culmination of a season that didn't actually come easy for them. I'm not sure if you all remember the beginning of the year, they were talking about a World Series hangover, and they were talking about being nervous, and recognizing what was at stake and how if they didn't get back to the World Series. That would be a disappointment. And all of that pressure on them at the beginning. They didn't respond well, and then they lost Cory Seager. They're all star shortstop Justin Turner without for what the the first month and a half or so Clayton Kershaw was on the DL. They had a. They had a health issue that they had to deal with with kenley Jansen that he had to deal with. And so he was out for a while. They had a stretch where their bullpen lost like a dozen games in a row or something. I mean, they they were nine games back on may. I I believe nine games back on may first and it took them until game one sixty three to be able to win that west division. But if you back up even to the final three weeks of the season, there was a chance that we're gonna miss the playoffs altogether. Because of how hot the fate Louis Cardinals were and how well the Colorado Rockies were playing. And so this is a different type of a season. But still great preparation for now a matchup with a brewers team. That's won eleven consecutive games. We took a hard path to get to this point. But I do think it made us. Stronger and kind of galvanized our our team. But you know, we celebrate tonight. But I know that we all know that you know, there's a lot more work to be done. And we have eight more wins to go. I think that's the benefit of having been to the World Series last year, but also having been in the NFC s now three consecutive seasons. It's not all the same guys. But it is some of the same guys and that knowing what to expect certainly understanding from last year's World Series. How you're you're just never down. You're never done until it's literally done how many games do we go back and forth back and forth between the Astros and the dodgers a tug of war almost in that World Series. And it's meet maybe just someone who loves these kinds of story lines that Manny Machado gets to be part of an NL CBS. And that he was a major reason why they got their, you know, anytime you can see more pitches is.

"The number one relief pitcher on the player. Raider is Roberto SUNA, Jeremy, Jefferson's second. Blake China's third d as Leclerc and Yates. The clerking gates are closers that as long as the job next year I'll be looking for them after round fifteen. And I would think that they're going to be there. They're not going to be ranked as top ten closers, not like the other guys that we, I don't know about Jefferson depends on it. Milwaukee says, Jefferson's. They're closer which they won't because they're going to. They have a Canadian and they have hater. Then he Jeffords might be like a borderline top ten closer and rankings if Milwaukee announced that, but Leclerc and gates wouldn't be, and I think that those teams are not buying like closers, so they would just let those guys close thoughts on that. I'd agree. And I'm ranking initially under the assumption that gates and Leclerc are the guy which means that both of them are gonna get at worst into my top twenty five relievers. One of the problems I'm finding with the rankings here is that I don't feel like we can put anywhere near as much of a weight on saves this far out from the twenty nine thousand nine projections would on the rest. So in other words, Josh hater is showing something about how the other stats really matter with with rolls up in question. And one of the reasons for that is the level of free agency available on the closer market among free agents. Currently going into the off season, Craig kimbrel Jairus familiar Cody. Alan, David Robertson Zach, Britton, Andrew Miller, but Norris Kelvin Herrera atom. Motto, vino, Ryan Madson, Trevor Rosenthal who could be a bit of a sleeper there in terms of getting a closer job. And of course I'm forgetting Sergio. Romo. A lot of guys really is. I mean, a lot of teams come like two or three guys. You said ten? Yeah. A lot of changes coming one lasting closers before we move on is what Josh hater is doing. Is that sustainable for next season that strike out that year Ray that whip. The winds of saves any of it is what trial shadier is doing sustainable. It is if he retains the elite stuff, I worry always about guys like this who pitch. I mean, he's pitched a decent amount. I mean, he's throwing multiple innings a lot, so there could be a little bit of taxing, and if it takes anything off of his stuff, there's going to be some additional regression beyond just the natural progression where you can expect. I mean, he's he's averaging nearly sixteen case per nine. That's tough to repeat. Especially send somebody pitching deep into October because that teams we're going to the World Series. Wow, this weekend. Okay. I don't know. Phillies Braves the big one. I mean Philly's have to win. Phillies can't lose this game Kevin Guzman on the mound for the Braves, five and two to sixty one year Ray since joining them. We always get sucked in with this guy. Give me his numbers for next year in Atlanta, thirteen wins. Three fifty are a one twenty. Whip eight point two canine that sound reasonable too much, or we just saying we all entrust in the good now. I kinda liked that projection. I do I through those numbers. I'm like, I wouldn't quibble that. I wouldn't. I mean, he's going to be back there. I think it's a very big positive that he's there instead of in Baltimore in the at least partially from a ballpark perspective, let alone just the league difference. I, you know, I'm I'm historically pro Godman. I'm just I don't know that the breakthrough front of a staff potential. Is there any more..

"By three two strikes chance to walk it off. You hit the, grand, slam, to, win the. World Series right well David Bodey didn't hit a grand slam to win the world's Aries but it was a walk up just, a second one in major league history to strikes walk off grand slam with? The team trailing three. Nothing, in the ninth inning which is exactly, where the cuts found themselves against the nationals last night on Sunday night baseball on my, dad's birthday by the way which, leads us to bump baby number one. Ryan Madson given up the walkup spoiling a gym from, max? Scherzer, this is every kid's dream on the playground David voting now Trying to keep it comes alive Longbow now couldn't win the ballgame And the pitch on the way boaty drives the air Grand slam coating Okay Field Basis Teammates jump around It's just Yeah Ryan Madson coughing it up and the nationals there just kind of orbiting around five hundred, this year like the giants. "And this is a team that when you think about trade currency, they don't have a ton of it. They could re spin Kelvin Herrera. They could maybe look to move a Ryan Madson or somebody like that. They could always treat impending frigid, Bryce Harper. But you know, that's one of those things where you know if you trade Bryce Harper, you kinda take yourself out of the running, maybe take yourself out of the inside track to to signing him. So probably not a thing that wash it will look to do something to get Jeremy heloc. Soon could go, maybe geo Gonzales, something like that. There are some guys that could go for the nationals. If they do look to reshuffle the deck. But you know, there's some extra added pressure for a team like that. Then they wanna buy. They wanna be in the race. They play Atlanta and Philadelphia a lot. Most of the way they have the opportunity to control their own destiny to an extent. But these are still uncertain times for a lot of teams, a lot of people, and this is one of the things it's kinda hard for me and I've talked about this a lot, you know, sort of the grey areas, the things that aren't really quantifiable. At the end of the day. For me, this is a numbers game. This is a an industry to me based on numbers based on the results based on statistics and that I apply those statistics. I applied those results. I apply the standings and things like that too. My handicapping this weekend is a different kind of thing because you're talking about the people of major league baseball. Yes. You're still looking at statistics and yester- still playoff races and things of that sort. But you're talking about the people. These are emotional times players, teams, executives. You have some players here, like Manny Machado, for example, who's already been traded? He knows one organization. That's what he knows, and then he gets traded. Yes, it's exciting to go to a contender. Yes, exciting to go from a Baltimore team at screwing to lose one hundred and ten games to a dodgers team. That's probably going to win end up winning in l. west. That's exciting. It's great. It's fantastic. But you have other players that. You are maybe active in the excuse me. They're active in the community. They've got, you know, philanthropic efforts. They've got foundations they've, they're established. You know, they're established in that area from doing a lot of different things, and that has a cascading effect to it. Not just as it hard on the the player and his family and his children. It's hard on his teammates because his teammates of, you know, those are usually high character individuals, easy guys to get along with. It's hard on the other players. Wives. It's hard on the organization. It's hard on the front office. These are things that can really have an impact on a team and not only on team, but also on an individual. So morale boosts or the lack thereof. With some of these deals. You know, the dodgers players are very excited to get Manny. Machado very, of course eager wasn't out for the year. They would've got Manny Machado. They're very excited to get him. Maybe there's an immediate impact, something like that. Even though Machado is off to a little bit of a slow start here for the dodgers in his first six games with the Indians. For example, acquiring Brad hand. The pitchers have to be excited because they've had a lot of games blown by the bullpen, but also this does nothing for them in the short term is Miller replacement?.

"Doing some things but all spring training i know me personally you just waiting for that bad piece of news something's going to go wrong somebody's gonna get hurt that matters some will happen to the negative and it never really occurred they didn't win a lot of games in play particularly well in spring training but they were healthy and when this team is healthy they are capable of doing some damage and they've been able to do that even without both of their catchers without rafael montero but as long as the graham syndergaard cesspit as conforto those four especially as long as they're going right this mets team does have a lot of talent don and and we have seen that as they brace off to a thirteen and four start but still for the fans they you're going to have their card up there they're gonna want to see the mets earned their confidence and this is one of those games that doesn't ultimately do that but it certainly helps that the mets aren't going to be a team with a glass jaw that they get hit monday night and stagger around for a week licking their wounds afterwards no they were able to rally back a couple of days later with a similar kind of big win that the nationals ad and you know they're in a great spot as far as the standings go and i know it's early be looking at these things but when you're five games ahead of the team that was the big favourite in the division and that team does have problems the nationals have problems right now a lot of it is health that lineup is not nearly as scary as it's been in the past the go to ryan madson for a third straight night tonight and he doesn't seem that the ability to to handle that in the metro able to take advantage of the nationals do have a couple of issues over there and they don't look like the the automatic that they did go into the sea eight hundred three to one zero seven ten let's start out with ari in far rockaway what's up ari hey pete how you doing good how are you i'm good actually exciting for me more than one way my wife gave birth to a baby girl today.
