"Inexplicable is the only adjective for this movie. And it's a perfect 5 out of 7. Oh, yeah. That's fair. Yeah. Yeah, you can't put it on ten scale. Uncomfortable, but I like it. It reminds me was it Seth MacFarlane playing Ryan lochte on SNL. And he's like, I liked it. I give it four swims. It's like, yeah. Yeah. You know, I would probably think differently and I'd say this in my review too is that I would think differently if I had watched it either as a kid or in college. You know, I think that definitely alters the way you see something like this. I'd have a different perspective on it than I did now. Oh, agree. You either don't know or you're drunk. Yeah, exactly. And it's like kind of how I like Monty Python growing up, then we really got into it in college. You know, we really started watching the movies and stuff. And that was kind of our board, like nothing going on stuff. We'd watch money python. And so, you know, that definitely changed the way I saw money python. You know? And people now may not see the same way. But I love Holy Grail and I love all the TV show the episodes and everything. I mean, it's like I love all that stuff. And so I think when you watch it, where you watch it definitely paints or affects your view of the movie, and that's kind of how I feel about this. I'm looking at this maybe I'm too old. I don't know they have to grouchy, you know? You know, you gotta have some nostalgia. You gotta be removed from it a little bit. You gotta be there's a lot of perfect storms to watch this movie. And a lot of times it just in the hip. Yeah. And it's like, you know, maybe now is not the best. I enjoyed it. I'm gonna have to watch it again. And maybe there'll be a time. Maybe you wouldn't know as old enough to watch this. And we go back and watch it together, you know? That may be a thing. Big booth. Because I'm looking forward to watching Star Wars again with him and Raiders of the Lost Ark and I'm looking forward to that. Seeing how watching that with him changes my opinion of those movies. You know, because it's kind of like watching for the first time. You know, that's what they always say about when you have kids Christmas changes. It's like you're a kid. Again, you get to see that from that perspective. And so I'm looking forward to seeing what watching these movies is like the next time around. Yeah. So what was your star rating? I would three out of 5. Yeah. Yeah, 6. Yeah. So consensus. Yeah. So there we are. There's been another episode of cinema vino. Be sure and tune in next time. We're going to do con air. Damn right, let's taste pick. And you know, Joe, my wife and I we watched that last night. She was rolling rolling. It is an explosion of fun.

"Uh, you like to watch rich people brag about their stuff? Not really. But well, it's it's coming back. MTV is bringing back cribs on August 11th. The new season has already had has a massive lineup, including Martha Stewart, Ryan Lochte, Rick Ross. Kathy Griffin, Scott Disick, Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross. Now the original MTV Cribs debuted more than 20 years ago. And in the original run, there were 113 episodes over 19 seasons. I I don't know if I like this. I wasn't a big fan of it to begin with. Hey, look at all the stuff I got you don't the, uh yeah. Lifestyles of the rich and famous, which I used to love that robin leaks used to crack me up. Uh huh. Does this guy makes more money in one minute and you're making your entire lifetime? Well, it's coming back and August 11th. If you're into it, it will be on MTV. I can't. I don't even know where MTV is on my dish. I don't think I have access to. Maybe I do. I don't I think I have it. I just never watch it. Because why they don't play music. They don't show videos anymore. Why would I watch it? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Uh, that's one of those things If you're into it, it's coming back on August 11 so you can serve your calendar. It's like, didn't we get 20 seasons of that with keeping up with the Kardashians? I mean, I never saw one single episode of keeping up with the Kardashians. I am proud to say that that I never watch. I don't think I've ever seen an episode in its entirety. But I have to admit tuning in for as long as I could deal and then I had to change it. Oh, gosh, you know, with the pandemic kind of Waning and people are getting back to what they called normal. Bachelor and bachelorette parties are even crazier than they were pre pandemic. And according to a survey by wedding wire, they asked more than 600 men and women and found that bachelor and bachelorette parties are now averaging three days. Three days. Wow. A lot can go wrong in three days. Not kidding. I mean, my bachelor party was me and my my best man, Ray and our friend Jimmy and we went tubing. And then we ended up a galaxy billiard playing Ping pong. Awesome. Yeah, it was a blast. And then we ended up in some place down in the river Walk Billy Marbles. You remember that? I don't know. It was a club down there. I did not want to go. But they drugged me there and I don't know what time it was, but I I just hope I said Look, you guys take me home. I'm gonna call Cindy to come Get me done. I'm through. I'm finished. That's you know, bread. Didn't want to have a bachelor party and like, Are you sure he said no, No, I don't want to do it because knowing my friends, they'll probably go the whole strip around. And that's just not me. And I'm like, no. This is going to make me look bad. You should have some kind of magic as I've already had My strippers. Come on. No, no, I I was at the Hill walking Tara Hill Country Resort. That's a good point. I have a batch reporting. Absolutely. They had some nice restaurants, she said. I got married in July. So tubing was just natural thing for us. We went on the short, right? We didn't want to spend all day out there. Good times. And then we played ping Pong at the galaxy billiard out there on parent Bible for probably about three hours. We had a tournament going on. It was a blast, man. And this is before uber and left. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. All I know is I was not driving. There you go. That's all I know. Okay. All right, Coming up to six o'clock hour, Charlie parkers in 6 48 hours..

"Back to you know all the rap artist back then sand with everything because the clearance rules were not the same. I feel like right around when Beastie Boys did Paul's boutique that's kind of when they sampled so much stuff. Looks like that's enough, right? And then it changed everything and say, you know, we need to give us some credit financially to Yeah. You got just giving credit to the people who are saying this was their song. Not enough, And now it's gotten out of hand. You know where Susan can't post the video of Belo with home sort of molecule product that's playing on the radio in the car and go, which, by the way, the video is now a big hit. Thanks for watching it. It had been banned, adorable. Did she did? She put the little disclaimer on Facebook? I don't own this or she did not. She was so much he hasn't touched it. Meanwhile, apparently when you if music is on that it's incidental. Her lawyer cousin was telling us that if it's ephemeral is the word, but if it's like incidental to the video, you're allowed. It's fair use. You should be able to just play that in the background like we should be able to. But, she says, What happens is the companies will get heavy handed and cancel you first and then make you fight to get it back, as opposed to giving you the benefit of doubt. Or or or giving you a fair use of it, so we should have been able to leave that song on there, because it's not hurting anybody, and it's played on the radio or it's already paid for, and we're not using it to make up produced video or anything or whatever. Yeah, you're not trying to make a profit or anything. It's just right. It's a cute story. She says, Like, you know, if you're walking by a store at Christmastime and Bing Crosby playing in the background, you have to send being a check because you took a video of you in front of Macy's or whatever you know, with the Christmas display, like No That's fair. So anyway, so that's what I find out. So anyway, I'm glad everybody on Twitter watched the elevator and enjoy it. So, uh, I wanted to update no Monica. We all know that Brett has several things that he does not like in the world that it's not as nice a guy as he is. There's a lot of things he does not like to hear about one. The royal family People's love for it in America. That's one thing you hate to hear about. You don't care about you 1000% on that, bro. We are on the same freaking a page number two soccer making headlines lately, But no, that's not. That's not the update. No, it's number three. The update is on the Olympics. Something else that brought really hates. I was watching the trials last night. Were you watching? Try? Oh, my God, they had statewide They've have been having swimming Trials. And yesterday they had ladies track and field and all of this. Really? Oh, my God. You look do not make it. Yeah. Ryan Lochte. He didn't make it. I guess he's our second most decorated Olympic swimmer, And I mean, I think he's just aging out where I guess he didn't come close, so he didn't make it, uh, for men swimming, But then the other headline that's out is very different from that is about women's weightlifting and how this is the first time. That now there will be our first transgender competitor. Uh um She's from New Zealand and will compete on the country's women's weightlifting lifting team in Tokyo because she was a guy and now a woman. Correct and she's 43, by the way about that, which I mean, I don't know how the guys are who are lifting weights, But I don't know if they were 43. Maybe they were, you know, I think about it or younger. I feel like it's older than I expect because you expect competitors to be younger right in their prime. Strength years. But if I think about it like Monica, you remember because you you guys watch the Olympics like my family did, like, Remember when the Americans were taken on the Russians? It was always a Russian guy with the big belly and the red leotard thing would come up to, you know, Put the powder on his hands and smacking And that guy, though he actually did, he looked like it was 55. So maybe I'm wrong. Maybe in weightlifting. It doesn't matter so much. Those guys seem very old. But anyway, um so Laurel Hubbard at 43 will be the first transgender person to compete. So we when this came up in the past, right when it was like high school, sports and stuff, we were always questioning. You know. How do you, um, Square it away, Say in high school girls sports, It was it was weightlifting. Where a guy transitions, becoming a woman and then competes with women in weightlifting. How do you make it a Fairfield? Because he's still got amends, builder muscles or whatever. And and what the stories we have the past where Transgender women now crushing records in those situations. So the Olympics the Ohio the international Committee has changed its rules. To allow transgender athletes to compete. As long as your testosterone level is below a certain level, and you can't just like get it there yesterday. You have to maintain it for a year. So that sounds fair, right? I mean, that sounds fine. Now The thing is that criteria it's called. You have to have 10 nano moles per liter of testosterone. A maximum reading of 10 animals per liter of testosterone. Are they Are they testing the same thing on all the all the men and the transgendered and all everybody or just the transgendered people Because I know this is the testosterone level for the women's competition. That's all I know. As far as that goes so at and they compare it to a biological woman, right, So a biological woman, a biological woman who they're competing who this woman is competing against, in other words, should all all the contestants there should should be? Yeah, OK. Oh, in the Olympics. God, I think everybody gets stuck by a needle. It seems like every day it sounds like that's what that's my impression of it anyway. For all the years of watching the Olympics, But so if 10 animals for leader of testosterone is the maximum reading for Laurel is transgender woman from New Zealand. The thing that's weird. That's a determining criteria has to be 10 or less right. That's at least five times more than what a biological woman naturally has so Right away. I'm like, Why would you allow five times but If you're allowed up to 10, then wouldn't a biological woman then take Whatever enhancements or supplements or whatever whatever you can take to get up right up to that 10 animals per liter of testosterone. Right? So wouldn't they? If if that's the maximum you're allowed, why wouldn't every person then go to the Max? I think we're I think we'd be a bit naive to assume that they wouldn't. Yeah, right. I don't know why. I don't know why I as a person who's Transgendered would be I want to say, singled out and that's why I was saying earlier. They should all be tested. But, yeah, I just feel like, well, that's the thing right If everybody's, um testosterone level is at that level or below. Right. Where is this interrogates that people are saying right then. Well, then, if they measure testosterone level, that's one thing. But then the other thing is, um if Laurel Hubbard is 43, so I don't know when she transitioned, but She was a man for a long time. So has a man's build or whatever. Maybe there's some advantages in there. I don't know if they would make rules for that. Those women have you seen those women? I know I don't listen. I hate I hate to say a man or a woman's build because we're all built differently, But we are the bodies. On. These women aren't exactly petite and small, like nobody's true nobody there there well built and they if someone can lift, and I don't even know what the weights are, But if someone can, like, come in there and squat and lift up this thing Just like this transgendered person can You know where again Where is the unfairness? The advantage disadvantage angle because we're all lifting the same amount of where we're all trying to lift as much weight as we can. But what are you lifting it with? You know your body more strength than their legs. I would imagine legs, right? When I When I think of this, I do. Think of what you think of two. Which is the red, Uh, Single it and retired. Yeah, I like the guy. Yeah, Yeah, your squat and it's there, and they're just straining with all their might stand white powder everywhere. Yeah. Yeah, That's what I think of. And if you know, some people are strong..

I usually keep my cool in high school basketball games. Yours. Mike McCarthy. Yeah. I hope I love it. I want to talk about Chicago Richardson. I want to talk about how the U. S. Olympic got it Wrong again. Got it wrong. I'll go so far as to say that the entire situation was handled poorly. This woman should not be banned from the Olympics. No, you're wrong. If you date step your game up, Step your game up update the way you handle marijuana based on what we know now about it, that it is not a performance enhancing drug. Take a page out of the NHL, the NBA, the NFL, They've sort of They greatly loosened there, and I don't want to say restrictions, but the way they sort of punish people who test positive because they've it's been deemed that marijuana is not a performance and many things that added a hurdle. That's right. 100 100 M sprinter, You added a gigantic hurdle. I don't know anyone who can depend on how good the weed was. If the weed was really good at 40 M, she should have been like what What were we doing here? Are you allowed to fly? No. But she didn't take speed. And the truth of the matter is that's right. The truth matter is she you know she should not have understanding. What is on your list of things. Yes, let's start by saying she made a mistake. She owns the mistake, right? And I would say to her and I would say to her What are you doing? Yeah. If she were my sister, if she were are really close for my daughter, my daughter, I would be like, what are you doing? You know, these are the list of these are the things you're not supposed to take the Olympics or once every four years is not every weekend. It's not like the UFC. We're making the fight every weekend. And this is your entire life. This is what I know. You're only 21. You you realize there's going to they're going to be more games. You'll you'll run when you're 25. You'll run when you're 29. This will be part of your story. And maybe who knows? Maybe this makes for a better life story. That's right. But You know she to me. First of all, she had a shot to win gold. She she was going to. She's in the mix, and she helps your four by 100 relay. At a time when US sprinting in the last several years men's and women's has been taking a back seat. Yeah. Jamaica, Jamaica, So you had the women were good. The women have always been good. But I'm just saying I really she did her time. So start with the point of like, Don't take this. You don't need this right now. But you screwed up. So pay the price, which is a month ban, And once the month man is up, she can participate in the Olympics. So why she wasn't taken with one of the two discretionary picks. Why not send the message that like hey, players and athletes can make mistakes. They can repent for those mistakes, and then we can bring them back show forgiveness. I just don't understand. I mean, to me, it was like are the same people who are selected making the selections for the women's track and field team, the people who made the selections for the men's basketball team. It's almost like they are not watching. They didn't understand. Who the personnel should be. Am I right again? It's the Drew Holiday versus Chris Paul discussion. It's once again, Would you rather have their the Olympics? The I O. C. You really want that body of people who accept bribes left and right about where the Olympics speak we need we need to re calibrate how we view marijuana as a as a drug that goes, you know, in terms of what it does for athletes, we just need to read. You know, it's legalized in many states now in this country, so it's not illegal. If you live in Denver if you live in California for an athlete in those places, Yes, it's illegal in other states place that you play, but, you know, we need to rethink it and have by the way South South Cal. It's not illegal. You know, I mean, global warming is is happening is happening. But I just my point. Is that like I think we need to recalibrate the way we the way we Kirstie Alley, Kristie Alley. Val Kilmer. Mhm Kristie Alley. H just It was the it was the stutter. Start on. Kristy. Allan Kristie Alley Crispy. Yeah. There you go. Is that first step in, But there's a woman who should be crispy. Thanks. This is a woman who should be in the Olympics. She should be in the summer games right now, Period. So So then what I would say to the U. S Olympic Committee that decided to leave her off the list. You owe us now an explanation for why she is off the list. Did she not do her time. Do you not think she would help the team out? Do you not think, like, tell it give us a reason, so that we can at least say, Oh, this is we're going to make an example of her for why? Why? Why would you do that again? The Olympics happen every four years understand everything that this person did to train to get you up to this point. Yeah, okay, and by the way, Nancy Kerrigan. That was a fantastic pull in there because it is Olympic related. You think about the fact that she had that taken away from her by who? Tonya Harding is Tonya Harding taking the opportunity away from chicory Richardson. This is one of two me chicory Richardson and you look at it for Olympic athletes. The Olympics is your time. Two. Big seller at your local vintage. Yeah, right When I started radio, and we were like, you mean that's when I first discovered women when we work in radio. They don't pay that. Lot of Churchill Downs on on Saturday night, though, Terry, you should have seen all of them dressed up. It was pretty cool. Wow, that was it was it was it was rock night out there, and there were people all kinds of dressed up. It looked like they could have been in the original fog hat. I guess exactly exactly. That's how hot was it Saturday night was kind of brutal. It was brutal like I was at a football camp today, and it was hot today, but nothing like Saturday night. Saturday night was it was it was It felt like July 15th. You know, in in a very muggy day, so Yeah, it was. It was a warm night. Yeah, it takes so many hours for things to cool in. People always think well after sunset, but, yes. Sunset this time of year 9 45 or whatever it's like, takes forever. Yeah, no doubt about it. All right. What's up today? All right, we're finishing up the super regionals and the sea. Looking pretty good. Terry. Uh, HCC, already with one in is N C. State's stunned number one seed Arkansas and they're super Regional after losing 21 to 2 in the opener that came back to win the next two games to make it to Omaha, Virginia's Kyle Teal with a Grand Slam. And the bottom of the seventh inning just moments ago and Virginia's up on Dallas Baptist 5 to 2 again. That's just the bottom of the seventh inning. If they win. The winner of this game goes and is the seventh team. Uh, into the 18 College World Series. Tonight. It's Notre Dame and in in Mississippi State, And if this holds up as Ian and I were just talking about Terry, if this holds up that Virginia winds, then that Notre Dame Mississippi State game is not only the game for the last spot in the College World Series, but it will decide what conference Has the most teams in the college World Series as not many people thought the A.
