The rocks. Okay. Everybody check out that song wanted one Republicans worth watching. Here's Ryan. Jonathan Barnett. My partner with elephant in the room the guy who started fresh his house looks out over red rocks. So if you go to the top floor of his house, did you go up to the top to the top of his house? I did not if you to the top floor, you can look there's a tower you can see red rocks concert amphitheater. This was when. Amphitheater created by God. It is unbelievable. Amazing Commodore. But this is him performing again with with with an orchestra and this is a song about his parents getting divorced and it's written from the perspective of either the mom or the dad but it's about his actual parents got divorced but just listen to us. It's this. Look at this I mean but he's doing something no one else can do never could imagine. Way The story had. You was someone no. I used to be. United Notice. When I leave the Jazz. Some. Colton Dixon. Was At this concert and he was he was actually got a chance to interact. He's friends with the guy who did the The, orchestra, arrangement. And he just said do this. You got to watch. Check this out. He's going to believe in an orchestra into pop music. Nobody's doing this I mean, this is next level stuff here we look cute up here. Nobody's doing that nobody knows nobody knows music to the level, they can do pop. Pop artists are good singers, good voices but nobody's out there taking. Their pop music and arranging an orchestra, right? We're taught and they're really good at auto to mean. Golden was just telling me the story a little bit, and then like his friend is the guy who is. The head of the orchestra or who did the arrangements But it's goosebumps. That's yeah. I mean literally, I've got goosebumps Mama. That's called somebody to love my one republic everybody check that I'll put a link to it on the show notes but everybody out there I'm just telling you you've got three ways to get Richardson. They did adjust a back like Selah mortgage like help someone grow a company like or to do something that no one else can do. It's just amazing like Lebron James. dudas big. I mean, if you seen how big Lebron James is he's a big dude. I mean if again, but nothing is more sad in my opinion, you probably seen this then somebody who doesn't have. The ability to be Lebron James. Or to be Ryan Tetter. Or to they keep trying. Why is that? So sad steve when somebody just doesn't have what it takes, but they want to and they just don't have it. Can't do this Shadow. mind. And they they want to do something, but they don't have the skills. I don't think it. Sad, I think it's funny. I'm like, yeah, I'm one of those Tagore's is like Oh my God. That's beautiful. You should go on American idol. laughing pain there's three ways to get rich. Okay. Warne is do something that no one else can do to no one else has the ability to do. So solve a problem that people aren't willing to do step one do something no one else is willing to do. They're not willing to cut their own grass. So do it for them? To is do something amazing that no one else can do or three do something vastly better than the Competition Aka build a better mousetrap Yup. "Because so that was that was another thing where I'm like damn. I wish the original alliance that we had was Ryan Jonathan myself Lolo entail. Mar. Right. And that was gonna be a I think a solid five. And then all of a sudden day, I think it was like the end of day one to be honest. All of a sudden we start hearing that the boys are trying to make an all boys alliance. We're like, wait what? And then they started them. We heard that Ryan was trying to back door Lolo, and then the power of veto competition came and they did not pick one of us that were in their alliance. And we're like that is a red flag clearly that we are. And then look what happened quedo one, and which ultimately could have shifted the whole game. If because both if you guys remember both Ryan and John. Had houseguests choice, and they could have picked myself or Lolo to play. And if we had one that we would have saved Jonathan he wouldn't have gotten victim. But then they didn't pick us at all. So how are you not gonna pick your lions members? Nearly a house surprised were you to see Tom named as America's favorite house guest? Well, I wasn't really that shocked considering what I watched the I didn't ET live interview. And we watch the. Final episode. And I mean watching it I'm like, wow, Tom looks great. Like, I like, Tom. So I wasn't shocked at all. But you feel like that what you saw on TV was different than what you experience in the house. For. Sure, definitely I mean, I think that it just didn't showcase like everything in that was going on in house. So yeah. Can you just put a finer point on that? Well, because I think a lot of people are confused who enjoyed watching Tom on the show. What what was it about him that you guys in your bedroom, especially found so particularly offputting about Tom on? You know, what I think it's like certain people like when he was put on the block the first week. He was totally another different person like super different end than certain people. If you give them a little bit of power. And then when when he won h or when he got taken off the block because Cato use the power veto on him. All of a sudden he was like walking around like the incredible hulk with his chest puffed out. And so that is like a little bit off putting and then also too is that we're not at a comedy show. So like if you have somebody that is, you know, middle aged, right? Tom's like almost fifty and. Kind of being like not really wanna see him which really wanna sandwich sandwich on valley. What what like that to me is like not really funny to go. It's just a little bit off putting and like how he was like walking. Oh my gosh. You guys when the power in which team are actually had when that was implemented in the game. The the I think that was a monumental moment to where things are to crumble because Tom was so fixated on finding out who had the power, and he thought that it was Ricky, but he was interrogating seriously. Everybody making them feel super uncomfortable. Like, he did it with tame our he did it with Lolo. He did with Ricky. He did it with Joey and people definitely were like kind of taken back by it. You know? So he'll he was entertaining for the audience. But that he wasn't putting you guys in the house Eddie's with the way that he carried himself totally. And I think it's because he's super intelligent and very like one he's a super fan and he knows how to play the game. However, he was super aware of live feeds so he was able to play to the camera a ton. So basically didn't really showcase like all the other kind of it wasn't like the house was against HAMAs. All it was more along the long lines of Tom just made a lot of people feel uncomfortable..

"Yeah. I mean fair that that the fights and all that stuff or not looking great for her in the house. But do remember that I guess Ryan Jonathan and Joey are all going out of the house, and none of them are holding any kind of ill feelings towards or Ryan in her head a great relationship the entire time that that they were together Jonathan I think all of his resentment towards Natalie and Lolo for screwing him over because taymor wasn't even in that group and Joey came out of the house say it wasn't. He with somebody who said taymor is playing the best game in there. So it did seem like even though she was fighting with people in the house the people out. Outside of the house weren't really mad at her. Right. Which is why pointing out this moment is where the bad jury. It was where she is fighting with people talking behind their backs, and is the primary cause I believe of people like Jonathan who would otherwise have no ill-will toward Maher talking about how he would wanna walk off the stage of taymor was against Ricky that comes from somewhere. And I think it comes from this week in particular. So very very bad jury management in this in this, particular instance, because again, she was doing decently with Jerry management before. But this just really starts to fall apart here, I think for taymor, and if she chooses the final two jury vote, I think it stems from this week moving forward in terms of jury management. She does almost benefit though, from the fact that it wasn't just her the fact that, you know, her showroom is being viewed as as the mean girls, the the angry people. So you know, the fact that that Natalie in Lollo joined in on the all the meanness along the way obviously helps her out but in. Terms of like, not just you know thinking about the jury management thinking about her position in the game. Getting the power really like rejuvenated her it really gave for like a whole new life. She was she was able to realize. Okay, I'm safe this this week, or whenever I need to use his power like I can actually work on on my game a little bit and not just, you know, be be fighting from the bottom here. And you know, she's had these connections with the people in her room all this time. And now that she has the power I feel like she has a whole new confidence that she is going to take forward. You know, even though like we're saying the Jerry management is is a little rough year or a lot of a lot of rough year. Specially with the time and stuff, but I feel like she does have a drive to just to keep going. So yes, I will say that. If she does win the game. I think it is it is because Natalie herb because low low and to some extent, Ricky were also very very bad Terry management. We're not looking at anybody who did a good job of Jerry management. If we're if Dino or candy are. Not sitting there in the final two were just looking at who did worse or if they're both all equally terrible than who just happens to take the win home. Based on who they're sitting next to Jonathan is saying, you know, if it's people from this room that are in the final final two, I'm not going to be happy. But that's that's what Burke's trying to get at here. He's trying to make sure that no candy's gone, and then they can beat DNA. So that two of them have to be sitting there. So yes, so we then head into week four after Joe is a victim and taymor is going to win this h h which we pointed out at the time was just such a massive mistake. This is again, I think a low point for tame Mars game where she was safe. She had two sides of the house going after each other..

"One one do not spill truth bombs to someone who doesn't have a filter at the moment. And what does he do? He just opened the tube a little bit. He just let a little bit to face come out. And now we can't put it back in obviously, you can't fault. This converse interest is p her emotions are running high. She's feeling doubtful on everything and you went upstairs, then lifter alone. Others you she's gonna wanna talk to somebody about what she just heard. And it's just the damage control wasn't good either. Because again, catos jumpy and fidgety and the way he talks really translating. You know, who seems like they would be talking re does a really good job communicating with drunk people Ricky with his very calm demeanor. And he talks to you as if you're the smartest being in the world like there's respect there. But when you're talking to someone who's drunk like they're being immature or they can't handle it or they're being stupid. What does the drunk person do turn around and get super defense on not drunk? What are you? Trying to say that mentality translates here. And obviously, none of what kid who was doing. It's working oracle job or something else that I noticed in this conversation that stuck out to me is that we've been talking about how low low in particular, but also Natalie to some extent have been doing some poor jury management and that their betrayal of Jonathan. And the beginning was really the way that they went about it the way that they've defended it is really going to hurt them in the end. And I think that the way that Dina talks about it without even even what without even being with Jonathan. She clearly sees it from that same point of view. And I'm really starting to be like these women are in trouble the way that Dina talks about them. They're backstabbers they they betrayed Jonathan. Obviously, they're gonna betray you Tom and Kato what are you thinking working with them? You know, I think that if those two if either of those women are against almost anyone else in the house. I mean, if you think about it, you got Ryan Jonathan Dina, and Joey I think all four of them are voting the same way. And that's four of nine votes. And there are plenty of other voters who are going to be willing to easily vote against them, including Tom Cato who have been bashed by them nonstop at this point. So I really like they'd better hope there in the final two together at least Natalie better hope through in the final two together. I think Natalie's odds are better than Lola Lola's just sinking well, really low low with the equity she has moving forward, and it all comes down to the fact that on like go. Okay. So the one thing we did find out yesterday definitively is they got to DVD's two seasons of being sequestered. And they were celebrity big brother, not a sharp, anybody and BB twenty. But I guess like what they're not really realizing is, hey, this is a different set. The judiciary is going to see everything hypothetically speaking. So that's why Natalie kind of does fare better because you have mentioned that obviously she's not really in the edited show as. Much. That's all they're looking at she'll get a bit of a by. But Lola will not and the fact that they're feeling this way, leaving the house isn't going to help that any further either..

"And we ended up with a scenario where we ended up with a different grouping of the alliance where four of the women in the house that got together, and they ended up being the four tops. Is that right? Brent four tops death. I mean between the temptations in big brother nineteen remember it was the only temptations. I know is the group and to ten of temptation, right? But Taryn that do you like this position for Lolo and even Marie? I mean, it's it's it's the best position to be in there being petitioned by Jonathan and Ryan to be in a final four and buy candy and Tamar. So the six personal in the six person alliance. There are three pairs, and they are in the middle of both pairs. It's a fantastic position. If these two were people that I felt very confident. Really good spot. This. That's not to say that they can't do. Well, it's just that. I don't have a lot of information from them yet to know that they're they're able to play this. For instance, if Joey or even Tamar were in this middle position, I would say, hey, I think they're in a really good spot. Because I think they probably know what to do here. A little too early to say, whether these two women will know what to do it's possible and they're integrate spot. So I things are looking up for them. It's kind of it's hard to screw this one up. So I think they're going to be pretty good for a while there. What did Lolo Jones duty you? Well, why are we so anti Lolo? She's done. Nothing wrong. Make me out to be anti Lola. In fact, I'm very pro Eva. So so that's a good thing. Put. No, I just feel like look, I don't I don't think that they intentionally put themselves in this spot. I think it happened. And I want to see how they're how they're able to play this from because it could blow up to right? Brent? Yeah. It could blow up I agree with tearing though, the positioning wise, it's really hard to screw this up. I mean, you're in a great spot in the house. Everybody wants to be your friend. I think even the people who are on the outside. Probably consider these people to be the low low in Yvonne's about to be somebody who is nice and trustworthy. I feel like that. If anybody looks like threats is probably the people were more demonstrative more on the outside like, you know, Ryan Jonathan taymor and even candy a little bit. I don't know what any is problem is with this alliance. She's already talking about the fact that well, you know, when it gets down to whatever I'm going to be the last one out. I'm like girl that is. So like, why are you worrying about that right now? Just keep yourself safe for the time being I swear to God tariff us, she was going to screw it up and get yourself on the buck. She may yet because they're still vetoed. Yeah. Could be foreshadowing what happens with Vito, and we don't know if the veto is going to ultimately be used. But I guess if we have six people play in the veto three people on the block. I guess it's a fifty fifty chance at the veto is going to be used in any given situation. Like this. Certainly possible. Yeah. Not to mention the Ryan would probably use it on Jonathan if he wants. So I think there's probably a four of six chance. Oh that the veto gets used. So. Yeah. I mean, I think that I I don't know candy is very jumpy here. I can understand why she'd be a little bit concerned that like, you know, nobody's really talking to her yet. But at the same time, you have to understand if you haven't talked like if you haven't had the conversation with Ryan yet. Hey, we're good. Right. Like, we're in the lions, we're working together. Then he's like he's not going to feel comfortable telling you yet like it's like chill things. Take time. You're going to work on the relationship. It's going to be fine. You don't have to worry about it yet. Just don't freak out or you might blow things up. Yes. She talking about that really quick. Because on the show on the show tonight. They keep alluding to the back that taymor and candy had history. Okay..

"We'll tell you when to call between now and ten to see fall out boy and Wrigley field. All right. Three one two three. Three two ESPN is our telephone number earlier today before I came in to do under the hood. I worked on my other job. Siriusxm NBA radio. As I hosted with Tim Legler, you know, legs. Don't you three point scoring champion guys can still knock it down, by the way, even at his age. He's still not get down ESPN analyst as well for the NBA. So we were on together and tomorrow will be the Basketball Hall of fame in Springfield, Massachusetts on MBA TV. And actually, the one of the topics that we had if we talk about I would bring this up on the show, but I will tell you that one of our main topics was to really terrific lead guards are going into the hall of fame tomorrow. We did a topic of Jason Kidd. He put this on the matter of fact, I you can read sweet what I had earlier you could do that Eric, Jason Kidd or Steve Nash who's the better point guard. It was coast to coast of people are going back and forth on that. Because some people really believed in Jason Kidd coming from Cal and Steve Nash from Santa Clara cannot of nowhere actually and had to be coaxed into shooting. The basketball more Don Nelson was like if you don't shoot the ball more than ten times, I'm gonna find you. So you can put that on the poll at ESPN one thousand because that was our conversation also going into the hall of fame. We'll be former bulls GM Rod Thorn, if you know that name rat Dohrn has been around the in the NBA and basketball for over fifty years. But that guy drafted Michael Jordan choice Ingo Sam mbui or Michael Jordan and at the time in the early eighties. He was unheard of to draft a two guard and build a team around to guard. Like really you're going to build a team around to guard and people were laughing I holding their stomachs laughing, and pointing how are you going to build a championship without a with a? Non center because it was all about the big man back. Then right. So we had Terry Boers on the program because Terry covered the balls in the early days before Jordan and throughout all the championship years of Michael, Jordan. And we asked Terry his thoughts about rot Thorne. I asked him. What does he remember most about the early days of Rod Thorn with the balls and tea deadly said, you know, it's funny because the early days when I was covering the polls were just bad. I mean, it was just got awful. And I I just remember they remember drafting Quinton daily that was my first deal. They drafted Quinton daily for the love of God. They Paul Westhead was the coach they took him down to Peoria to get away from everybody thought, you know, media get rid of the media spotlight willing. I'll take him the PR people pay attention to women were protesting everyday Quinton daily. So it's like this terrible kind of memory that Rod Thorn helped race with one fell swoop. I mean, you're just you're just kind of waiting for something. Good to happen for this franchise. L? Let me say this about that that you know, I've dealt with a lot of NBA executives. Anyone Jerry Krause took over native, Jerry Krause tonight, butter dad's over everything. Just about everything you've ever was. But we finally made piece when he was scouting for the Mets in later years. And I realized and when he went into hall of fame beach surrogate, and I and I feel the same thing about rod, and I know I used to kid riding would take whatever you want to wherever you wanted to give him he take because they used to tell them. Well, you know, I'm I'm it's great to finally be associated with the Princeton met. Unfortunately, it's Princeton high school. I mean, I, you know, I gave him while the grief, I could and and grat always took it. He never, you know, he never took himself too. Seriously. He was never like, oh, I'm the greatest basketball mind, whoever lives, even after taking. Only ICM quoted as saying, I didn't know, you know, exactly what we had after. I remember this distinctly guys that after the first practice. Michael's first practice, the Kevin loughry who'd better on the NBA forever. And I and I love, you know, I just he's a piece of work. He comes off. And this is the days on their practicing at angel. Guardian comes off, and you could actually watch practice or see a little bit of practice, and he comes off. He says, hey, Terry. I said, yeah. What's up? You said I just I think we got the greatest basketball player who ever lived. I said what he said. Yeah. Michael. And I'm going. Oh, okay. 'cause rod would never say if you're not if you're a member guy, I know you're both much younger than I am. But he he never would say that. I mean, he he was kind of not standoffish, but careful about you know, because I think he didn't wanna which also love about him is he didn't want to talk about himself. All the time. You didn't wanna? To make about him. Yeah. Well, I got him. He was never that way about Michael never. And I mean, I really learned to like him and the next thing, you know, he was gone. He was always around the NBA, we still remained friends and still do I believe I don't think we ever had across word. But I I remember distinctly that he was very careful and Kevin loughry was over the moon. He was crazy. I said what I said one practice said, that's all it takes. I said, okay. What practice? Is that possible? Terry take us back to that time around the draft. What was what was the general feeling in Chicago when the selection was made you take us back to what the mindset wasn't a city. You know, what's interesting about this? And I say this, and it could be because I'm just lost my mind, but I didn't sense any real excitement about it. This was when the bears were at their height. So most people in this town most sports fans in Chicago were worrying about how the bears. I mean, the bears should really be good. I'm going, I guess, but it just wasn't the excitement about Michael that you would think the bulls were not the story. They've been down several years. There wasn't much going on since he lost. I want to say the seventy five Western Conference finals to golden berry. Rick Perry's team, and I just didn't sense, you know, nowadays NBA is twenty four seven three sixty five. I mean, it's it's a never ending new cycle of finding things going on and controversy and everything that makes it great. But nothing. At that time. It was it just wasn't the kind of buzz you with thought when when when Michael came to town, and I told the story in the book that when I when he came to town they made them available to your purple hotel in there. I was the only one who showed up to see. I mean, he does Chris. I if I was told, you know, if you wanna come up and say, okay, I did I was the only one who who wanted to do what? I mean. I don't wanna say it was the only one exciting this city because I'm sure that we actual basketball fans who knew something about is who works cited. But it was the most reserved thing you've ever seen now a days 'cause the bulls that had so many bad picks. I think people were just kind of immune to it. They just don't okay. Yeah. Okay. Michael, jordan. Yeah. Pretty good. But how about these all be getting this that and the other stuff? I mean were at the point where everything they did was second second-guessed. I mean, the Clinton daily pick hurt a lot image heard everything about them Johnson. Cole who's running the same time. Wind apologize wouldn't really cooperate. With a lot of things that people wanted to do and get said, he wouldn't do it. So there was just a lot of not not much caring about the bulls. I guess is the best way I can put it. Now. You know, they sell out there. Unknown delivery profitable franchise still writing with Michael did I think to a certain extent. But it just wasn't what you think it would be. I mean, if if you've got I I don't know who I could there's no comps to him other than LeBron. He was only going that's about it. Of late where you go. My God, you got LeBron because I have certain guys are sheriff. And I was so positive of Michael I didn't eat Kevin locker room. I didn't know what the greatest though any of that. I couldn't I just listened to with my jaw. What really one practice Hayes killing people. Terry bores with us talking about Rod Thorn going into the Basketball Hall of fame. You can hear that interviews entirety after our show is over after ten o'clock. A lot of great memories about the bulls and about Rod Thorn longtime GM with the Chicago Bulls. He's the reason why Jordan came to Chicago. He was with us on Sirius XM radio you able to hear that is entirely after our shows over at ten o'clock. Let's go back to our hotline and say Hello to friend of the program. Ryan McGee part of that campus conversation podcast on ESPN radio dot com. Also, part of the SEC tells you a brand new show at Marty Smith, he joins us here on ESPN one thousand the ESPN app. Ryan Jonathan who. Thanks so much for your time. Appreciate you mentioned in the show, mardi Marlena. We premiered it tonight. And we haven't been canceled yet. That's. Yeah, we're getting and you'll be proud to know that we had this guy we were based out of Charlotte. And when there was this guy, Charlotte, my wife, and I saw driving around driving. What he called the dog fan? Lance ministers Georgia fan. Who bought an ambulance, and it's completely up fitted into this Georgia tailgating machine, and and we had him. I mean, it's still got the lights in the siren and everything, and we we used it as a Burt Reynolds tribute because of because of the cannonball run because we're real an ambulance and cannonball run. And so yeah, it was, but you you would be proud of us. We were Iraq in the the black and red and blasting the southern on the show. I love that. I love that. I do have to ask you a question about burn rails, though. Because you brought them up. I comic figure obviously in what guy especially far age. I didn't wanna be Burt Reynolds growing up because he always had someone hot next to him. Clearly, that's number one. But number two just because he's in a in a fast race car because he's to run away from the cops. Because of how Cooley was with that cowboy hat would what are your memories of Burt Reynolds growing up watching those films? Oh, he made. It's funny. I just recently just coincidentally a few months ago reread his autobiography which wrote four or five years ago, and he talks in the book about kind of a communist accidental redneck hero. And that's what he was. You know, honestly, I kinda grown up movie that I saw there would have been PG thirteen back then had they had PG thirteen with cannonball run. That's why I love the movie somewhat tonight before I go to bed wanna watch it on her bird. But for me, and you know this. I'm NASCAR guy murked Reynolds. Co owned a NASCAR team for years. It was the skull bandit the green thirty three car. They should have won the championship. And I four was co how who directed smoking, abandoned, direct, cannonball, run and Hooper all his movies and was one of the probably the greatest stuntman in Hollywood history. And those guys were at the race track. All the time and the stories that Burt Reynolds, and how told me. As is. Usually the case there store there off the record stores were way better than the stories and made it into the book. What a time to be alive to be a stunt man in the movie star in the sixties and seventies and eighties Jonathan hood with Ryan McGee here on ESPN one thousand to remind you that Chicago's college tailgate takes place, Saturday, eleven o'clock eleven to one thirty into Notre Dame and ball state here on the home of the Irish ESPN one thousand So Chris blackout Dahlan, yours truly..

"At least thirty field goals. Closely maintains eighty six percent rate for the first time since two thousand twelve the bears will break even three and three in the NFC north make no mistake. Dipsy north is going to be tough again, the twenty eight with the bears are prime to finally break. Some Brown in the division. Three in the north. Don't see that either nine safety. Eddie Jackson will lead the team in interceptions. The bears and number ten. The bears will ranked in the top fifteen in yards and points. Some believe that this is a stretch of the bears ranked thirtieth in yards twenty nine points at twenty seventeen bone. You look at the focus they placed on that side of the ball. It may not be as lofty as something. All right. Get rare raise up. Hey. Put the phone down air 'cause I put the phone. Oh is he on the line now? Okay. Felix? Felix out of all these things we mentioned quarterback Mr. Bisky will break Eric Kramer, single season passing record Mark of three thirty eight. I say no you say no roquan Smith will win defensive rookie of the year. You say, yes. Plays. I think he has a very good shot at winning that. Question. Mark right there. I'm not said, yes. Or no yet. This is a question Mark on that for meeting cheese week, ROY Robertson Harris will emerge as the best five technique. Not name akiem Hicks. No, no. I say, no. Number four the bears will finish better than the forty Niners because of the Niners division. I say no compared to the bears division say no also rookie receiver. Anthony Miller will have more receiving yards and Taylor Gabriel. I think that's yes. Yes. We'll have two thousand yards all purpose yards. That'd be so fun to watch. But no is this going to take time. This is why that's a lot two thousand dollars purpose yards. He's not going to be that durable. I don't think this one on like what that is. That's giving locked the expectations for a kid. It's still has to learn and still so I I would say no to that. Cody Cody parkey will make thirty field goals and closely maintain his eighty six percent career rate. I say, no, no, I don't like him a lot of cakes. I don't know about his percent. We haven't seen him kick accurately yet either first time since two thousand twelve the bears will break even in the NFC north. I say no that if if people are saying this team is a playoff team a nine win team. They damn well better. Go three and three in the division too. I think they will know the people think that they're this playoff team. So they need to be three and three in the division. Make the playoffs beating the Vikings this year. No sorry. I mean, you have to sweep the lions basically is what it comes to, you know. So no any jacks. Jason will lead the team in interceptions. That's that's in play. Yup. Yes. Being in the middle lane centerfield yet prince amukamara he wants he wants to get ten this year. Yup. And bears. Offense will rank top fifteen in yards and points things to change like we'd have to see a whole different. Mitchell Trubisky for that to happen here. Listening to ESPN one thousand the ESPN app under the hood Jonathan hood. So glad you're with us here on the home of the Irish ESPN one thousand we turn to Super Bowl champion color analyst for the fighting Irish of Notre Dame a ten year NFL veteran. It has Ryan Harris, and he's with us on ESPN one thousand and the ESPN app the flagship home for Notre Dame, Ryan Jonathan hood. They so much for your time. No problem Johnson backdrop. Absolutely, I really enjoyed the the first broadcast with you and Paul Burmeister. Tell me do you feel about it being up there? Well, glad you enjoyed it. That's that's the point of it. I felt great. You know for me. It's always fun to humanize and educate people about the game, they love and anytime I can do that specifically around the Irish and the greed of football players that we are choosing to go to Notre Dame. I'm doing my job. But I just love coming back home to the place that really made me a man in many ways not just in the football field. But as a father as a husband, and as a Muslim how how was the journey to get that position. Again, a brand new boots. Are were you working with Paul? What was the journey like getting to this position? Yeah. Well, it was a long and winding road to prove myself in the NFL for ten years, and if winning a championship definitely helped and got selected by the NFL to go there broadcasting boot camp and did that and went back in order to Notre Dame. And actually one of the guys was the program director at in Denver for the stadium board was now Notre Dame. You remember last year was the first year of the big screen out there. So he directed all the programming there. We connected again in Notre Dame and did their digital postgame show last year and with the J M I legends partnership. I just said, hey, man, you know, I really enjoy telling the stories of these young guys and being a part of Notre Dame broadcasting if there's a paternity let me know and ended up getting a couple of calls, and that was the that was the end of that showed up in the booth with Paul last Saturday, and that was really fine. Again, you can hear every every game of the fighting Irish right here on ESPN one thousand of course, Chicago's college. Tailgate? Our program happens before the broadcast that's going to happen again Saturday as Chris black ADEMA dollar, and I will be broadcasting eleven to one thirty into Notre Dame and ball state right here on ESPN one thousand I thought Saturday's game for the Irish was very interesting Ryan because I didn't expect so many fireworks from the Irish offense so early I just think that they took the winds are the sales of the Michigan defense. How did you see the flow of that game for the Irish offensively? I can't say enough about how coach Kelly is prepared this team for those moments. Any talk last year. He's talked about last year. They often were reacting in those games we as Irish fans remember that the Miami game and the Georgia lost at that looked better and better as the week went on. And so he really works to train these guys some chaos theory. She called it. So in the goal line period. They took out the football until the office scores of soccer ball. They took your tranquil out of the defense the very next play and have the defense Ryan run their plays. And and they all they've got guys prepared. And you talk to the guys talked after the win about ninety two workouts? They had at putting in that work. And what you saw was a stronger Khalid Korean what you saw was a stronger at your tranquil, you saw more experienced Brandon wimbush Timpson. She was a freshman at Notre Dame quick release really has some depth to the ball. And he talked about he said Ryan my experience last year taught me so much to take with the defense gives me. To look at the pre snap read. But also my ability to run the football coach Kelly, call them the best run around the team, and he showed that. So I mean, it's just it wasn't unexpected for me. 'cause I've been I've been so close to the program the last couple of months, but it was so fun to see 'cause you never really know. How those Michigan games are going to go and coach killing I talked about that I'll have been lopsided at times. And I think it was a nine to six win another. So but this was a game that everybody was waiting for and most notably the Irish who played on the field. Ryan, what are your thoughts on the weapons that when Bush has of course, with his legs and the ability to run the way he did he really opened up the offense by himself. But of course, he has others to be able to connect with what did you think of the the weapons for Notre Dame in this game? Well, you mentioned it and and Brandon wimbush is own best weapon. Number one. I played with Tim tebow one of the things you have a mobile quarterback. We can have some quarterback designed runs is. You really had a twelve member to the St.. Doesn't office. We also look at miles. Born can a guy who's all six four really is turn the switch on since his LSU fifty five yard touchdown reception. I mean, and so he's performing at a higher level. Elysee back talked about how his performance and and preparation last year weren't up to par. Always looking for great year. You saw you had a twenty six yard chests. Just start the game last week. But I look at Chris Fink as Well, Chris think is one of the best route runners as a collegiate athlete that I've seen in over a decade, and we have day Sean Hamilton here at the Denver Broncos. We shown some of that route running ability. But Chris thank you saw. Just still moss defender there for the Michigan wolverines grabbing the football literally off of his helmet saying, oh, this is mine. So I love those those weapons at receiver for him. I love the mindset of this team. And then you also saw Jaffar Armstrong me a second Kerry his of his career was for touchdown. So he has the workload that he can do it. Of course, they'll get extra follow back. A few weeks. So you like everything that's around Brandon wimbush, and especially that offensive line led by San must've. Ryan when your name is Allison Mack isn't the world Royster. I'm telling you. I was talking to one of the scouts. And that was the first name that came up. Tell me byles ain't MAC. And and the thing there is there's so much talent and ability. I mean, he's one scout scout telling me he he is where the league is going with tight end Zach ertz type traffic Travis Kelsey types. It really just big receivers. You know, what I mean who are just too big to go out there and not as fast to run those kind of post routes that will get a cornerback lost. But Elysee Mexico the size the hand making saw make a one handed grab and he's continuing to work, you know, one of the practices. Coach kelly. Allison Mack had a touchdown cast that was ripped away at the last minute by defender for the for the Irish coach Kelly knows everybody wants to the next girl walked over to explain to him how much power he has. I think as a human being you gotta remember this is a young black, man. How often are we as young black men told to be strong, and it takes something from someone to use your strike? That's a skill that has to be learned and developed coach. Kelly's created environment for that to develop and Elysee MAC is looking to really make that skill is all I want, and I think of that for radio name, it got much many more jobs with that. Name Allison Mack. That's pretty cool. I do want to meet his parents and ask for tell me wherever they came from the real. I wanna know we remember from back in the day. Ryan Harris with Jonathan hood ESPN one thousand and the ESPN app. So when we look at the ball state game again, you can't sleep because you got to continue to move forward. Sure. There was a lot of emphasis on this. Notre Dame Michigan game. But Ryan it's ball stayed coming up anything. That's that stands out. Notre Dame has to do to continue their momentum. Well, Jerry Tillery said after the game against Michigan. Hey worse sending..

"Gear souvenirs hatch shirts and everything else tennessee won eight of their final twelve game last year they beat denver they beat kansas city they beat green bay down the stretch and if you look at what they've done over the past a couple of years eleven defeat by eight points or less it came to a close to that postseason berth last you're going nine in southern and it's off at the bumper tennessee has been bolstered in the offseason i like the deepens gaining through needed talent experience in the secondary logan ryan jonathan ciprian they both signed on and markets berry yoda last couple of you here's has got a problem making the throw outside the numbers overthrowing receivers erik dekker is a little bit banged up but apparently these two are already developing a chemistry and our rhythm erik dekker is you know is the kind of guy who doesn't mind sacrificed at his body over the middle and i really think that make markets member yoda a better quarterback deep receiving corps this year the best he's probably play with since coming to the nfl i agree with all the sharp action here i think tennessee covers the spread of two and a half find a way to win by about eight to ten points yeah that risk that raiders money is very interesting i understand there's a lot of names for people to brand associate with their especially you bring marchan lynch there is a perfect sort of ambassador for the franchise but ma'am we gotta look at that defence secondary and have a serious talk so against scott spreitzer where this bs las vegas you can check came out on twitter at scott wins scott before we let you go you got one nfl wins total for us going into the season that you really like yeah i do actually i've got tampa bay under their win total of eight and a half dollars of folks expect the buccaneers to be able to win nine ten he bit eleven games i hear people talking about bike this summer in las vegas i look the other way a little bit i liked the under eight and a half year and that's what we played i think it's a team that's probably gonna win sevengame the yomp it's of mine is not good they don't protect gave us winston really well it it's a good thing is that luttig but the.
