"Near normal park so fans could take these newfangled automobiles drive to the game and he also tried to get as best he could Coverage in the media and O'Brien also would be kind of like a salesman he would say. The cardinals played down. In Moline and overnight rock island. He would go there the week before and try and drum business from the local fans and of course the writing that time was extraordinary. We'd hear about the giants Ryan Chicago cardinals coming to lean with several all Americans on the team and we're a little moline doesn't have a chance. But they would build up these versions Asians and stories of the all Americans when it came to Chicago. The cardinals just seemed draw. What normal park on the south? They didn't have a large seating capacity even when they moved to Comiskey Park. They didn't have much luck in filling that place Again when he helps a lot. The cardinals won the championship in nineteen twenty five but then unfortunately was the same time. Red Grange game in the League and so the bears were off filling stadiums around the country and the poor cardinals are trying to get a couple of thousand housing to watch them play Comiskey Park so that was kind of interesting about how the cardinals did try and survive in the thirties. This was after. O'Brien sold sold the team. They actually played their games from nineteen thirty one to nineteen thirty nine at Wrigley Field which left the cardinals at kind of the bottom of the ladder in terms of you've of preferred game days the cubs of course if they had a good season might be playing late into October The bears would have their first choice. Waste because that was their home field and so then the cardinals are Wrigley. Field would have. Maybe they're opening home game in November. I think Vince Bananas A great I because all the guards for the cardinals one said the team tried to move to Wrigley Field where they had all the rich people and we had the when he called the have nuts on the sell all side probably not fair for us to describe it that way but it seemed to be true because the fans of the cardinals would not go north to watch the cardinals plane Wrigley Field. Of course the bears wanted fans wanted nothing to do a sing another team playing and Wrigley Field so that did not last and the cardinals moved back for nineteen forty into Comiskey Park. So lots to unpack there so on that one. That was the Bidwell family when they bought the team in thirty three that they decided that they were gonna try to kind of go upmarket if you will and find out where the where where the money was but that's odd because the city of such a large geography. Hindsight is twenty twenty now right but you know to be the third tenant pennant in you know in arguably a baseball park right. The number two football team let alone not have with another stadium just on the south side I just basically sitting waiting for a winter. Tenant sure yeah and they Just never worked for him but I I guess it was an idea actually. They started a year before. Did well got involved and He kept up with it but the owner. Dr David Jones. He was the city physician for the city of Komo. A Chicago promise that he would bring a winning team to the sell side and made a lot of changes. One of the biggest was bringing. Ernie Nevers I the hall of Famer in to play for the cardinals later coach for the cardinals. He had the first out of town training. Camp and cold water Michigan really pumped up the the team but When attendance was still not very strong He was the one who had the first season up in Wrigley Field. I'm not sure if they signed signed a contract for several years but bidwill certainly had the opportunity to move the team back but but kept them up north and maybe it was because he had a fondness for the beers. There's kind of working for health at one time being a partner with hell listen they pro basketball team to Chicago Bruins Of course this was going on before and during his time as owner of the cardinals but who knows The attendance wise is certainly didn't work all right so before we move onto the ownership changes and and you mentioned that it's important that we go over sort of how it got to the big welfare because it didn't go directly to them as you just mentioned in one thousand nine hundred. Eighty five is an asterisk for sure in NFL. Football history. History right and and I believe I've mistaken the cardinals. I guess almost retroactively claim nineteen twenty. Five is there I ever. Nfl Championship hip. But it wasn't that simple nor maybe even at the time acknowledged as such as a championship team was it yes twenty five was preps the the if not today. It's still is one of the most controversial seasons that was ever played in the NFL and nineteen twenty four. There was a a similar. I'm were thing where a couple of teams claim the title and the owners and their minutes which are available to pro football hall of fame. Put Down certain rules and the rules claim claim that you could schedule any number of games you want it to until a certain day. Let's just say December first December seven. And if you wanted I want to you can keep playing games The cardinals in nineteen twenty five were neck and neck with the Pottsville maroons from Pennsylvania and ahead. What a lot of the newspapers called the championship? Game between the two teams at the end the season Pottsville won that game so they edged ahead of the cardinals and the standings and this is the same time. Now that we're hearing rumblings about Red Green joining the bears and coming to the the NFL So some trains are saying perhaps the cardinals or the maroons. We're trying to finagle a game with red grange and host them and and get the full crowd Some correspondence that indicates that but basically crystal Brian the owner of the cardinals. He really wanted to win the championship. So which which was legal. He scheduled to more games in nineteen twenty five before the deadline was against the a ham and team and one was against the Milwaukee he badgers he won both games. So that's the first part of the story that adds the cardinals ahead of Pottsville by Gamer. So the same time Pottsville. I still wanted to play Much all stars from Notre Dame up in the Philadelphia area. And here's a lot. It gets a little more controversial. Is that the league supposedly told possible. They could not play in Philadelphia because of territorial rights. They wanted to play the game. Anyway and We're then summarily. This is because they were trying to make some the the early part of the NFL. This was also part of sort of revenue generation. Right there was an exhibition. Asa Asa in and around the right accorded regular season right so they would have been okay to play this game anywhere else but they decided to play where they were told not I too. So that's the controversy that that Followers the pottsville claim that they should have won the championship. They shouldn't have been kicked out of the League and that the cardinals all scheduled these two games illegally but it was legal ethical. I'm not so sure But the cardinals then because apostles kicked out were Lee said was awarded the championship to the cardinals. They never claimed it. There was no trophy at the time. And then the story got even a little crazier because when they put the cardinals played the team from Milwaukee Milwaukee came to town. They didn't have enough players so one of the cardinals players. Here's phone some additional professionals who turned out to before high school kids from Englewood High School. So the cardinals then were Brought to the carpet Chris. O'Brien Brian was fined and again what was said at that time. with the cardinals have to give up the championship. They never they never were the excuse that the championship never was taken away from the cardinals so there's still recognize the twenty five champions even though maybe outwardly. They never accepted that until later on when the the bidwill family became involved. So if you're from Pottsville you probably have a good claim that something must have been a mess if your car to stand you. Probably the and rightly so say we. We just schedule another couple of games. Either way it's very controversy on. It's funny even to this day. Still you bring that up among people who do research and there's a a good argument going on as to who is actually nineteen twenty five champion the personal. Brian was certainly looking forward to winning the championship and perhaps scheduling a game or two with the Chicago bears against well. Okay so I guess it's important right because you mentioned in hinted at that. The team was the O'Brien sold the team to to Dr David Jones in Nineteen Twenty nine very interesting year on a writ large basis in this country and frankly the globe then by thirty two was then purchased by a gentleman by the name of Charles. Charles Bidwell will probably want to get into because the bidwell family from from this point on obviously becomes synonymous with the cardinals franchise for the rest of its of its life instill but I. It's interesting that AH AH based on what I've read and you can correct me if I'm wrong. It was only after bidwell became owner of the team that this sort of nineteen twenty five asterisks championship became an issue and were a pursuit of his. To somehow at least lay claim to as their history he went off. Yes and and I think that's accurate The history of it is a little fuzzy as to when and if and why. The cardinals claimed the championship. unshipped that the league basically gave to them and early nineteen twenty six. I shouldn't say gave but recognize the cardinals because they had the better record under the rules at the time and of course today we can't go back and change that type of history or this. We can question the decisions but we can't go back and change it but it does seem around that time that you would see the cardinals claiming that they were champions in nineteen twenty five and some of the programs and other material that went out came and.

"Sense. And what I'm hearing is people would prefer to sit in front of their HDTV and, and, you know, have their own beer at home and have a great television and sit on their couch, and, and do these things, and I get that. But it doesn't hold for NFL cities. NFL place. More home games than your favorite college team. NFL is not having those issues in the vast vast majority of its markets, eighty five eighty five percent of its markets or more. It's not having any of those issues. People are going to touch the TV. "They have some extra time. Now, they go to Minnesota. Here's the other opponents the rest of the way cardinals falcons bears jets. And then the Detroit Lions last game. Four of those auto. Matic winds if they lose those two eight eight five and one right? But that's that's nowhere near enough the two that they have to worry about our Minnesota. And Chicago they've got to win within the division. I would have written them off. Except for the fact that a like you just said I hate to write off Aaron Rodgers 'cause always proves people wrong especially late in the season two. I said a into a and b or one and two fused. Ryan. Chicago's only six three Chicago's not leading this division with a with a with an eight and one record. And so they are catchable if something happens to Chicago Green Bay gets one more crack at the Minnesota and Chicago play on they're going to need help. But Chicago come back and then Green Bay do not making as a wildcard. I just don't see that happening. I don't see them running the table. But if somehow they they tie Chicago by beating them, you know, the second time they meet and then somehow they win a tiebreaker. They could still find a way to get through. But right now, they're third behind Chicago and Minnesota they're going to make up ground on those two teams, and it will say you have to win both. They got to win those two division. They have to take it. They they're not going anywhere if they have nine wins. They're not going anywhere. So you know, I I just I they got to run the table. I got to run the table nine six and one is that right? How many what are we what are we adding up to? Yeah. We're trying to add up to sixty. Okay. You see my math skills now so nine sweet. Chores. But you know, what yours was longer you. Should you should be a little quicker on the mind today nine six and one is not going to get you into the playoffs. So they really can't lose another game. Nope. They can't and Bob. You're right. There is decline is not as a precipitous as Brady's has been. And boy did this by week come up at a good time for the patriots. Couldn't be better. They need desperately need it. They got a lot of a lot of work to do in. I'm not sure I beginning of the year when they wanted to I could believe that their problems some of them were unfixable. And then they went to six in a row. But I think we -ality was we saw last time we saw them in many ways and and Brady now just for people should know. He's had one touchdown pass in three games. And that's obvious. Just speaks for itself. Tell he's missing us talk about missing guys that he used to hit. You know, he's not sharp at all. And just isn't. And it's just beginning. His father time finally flexing his biceps his TB twelve on Tom. It's not the whole story. He's got teammate issues as well. I mean, you know, who to vote to Chris Hogan's disappeared off the face of the earth. So any doesn't doesn't have gronk anymore. And he may never have gronk not at least not the guac that we knew. So there's there's a problem narrow down down on running backs. I mean, so he's being asked to do at a point when they need him to be at his best to get them over the hump as he's done many times in the past. He's just isn't that player at the mall. "Is use radio eight forty W H A S. Oh, man. This is a very bad idea. President Trump advocating now for stop and frisk in Chicago to ease up the violence there. I don't like it in New York. And I don't like it in Chicago. I won't like it anywhere. I look I I realize there's violence in our inner cities around the country as what we certainly experiencing it here in Louisville. The idea of stop and frisk is antithetical to the American way. I can't think of a better example being safe and secure your papers. I'm walking down the street. Look, I know if you're doing something suspicious, and you have probable cause. Okay. Do it pull somebody over take him to the side? Ask him a few questions. That's very different from just walking down the street. Stop and frisk. Joining me now, Ryan burrow, ABC news. He's got more on this. As a terrible idea by the president Ryan. Well, what happened back in twenty fifteen was the ACLU entered agreement with the city of Chicago. And basically said that practice of just randomly stopping people couldn't continue. So what does Chicago police department get in the city of Chicago did was they added a bunch more steps if you're going to pull someone over you have to fill out, basically, a large questionnaire. And I it did actually lead you a lot you're traffic stops. Because a lot of the lease just didn't have a reason to pull someone over or to stop them. For for one reason the other suggestion is to that perhaps the police just didn't want to fill out all this paperwork. And so they just kinda let things go. Now, we did see a huge spike in crime twenty fifteen twenty sixteen in Chicago. That's starting to come back down with the president is doing is essentially equating this lack of stop and frisk for the the surge in gun violence in the city. And while the timing seems to be pretty close to the mayor here says that that's not the case. At all. And he he's pushing back and finding against it. So it's it's obviously a difference of opinion, and and people here in Chicago think that maybe if you bring that policy back, it could it could stem some of the gun violence were saying, but you know, from the ACLU's perspective they've got real concerns about that policy. And and the way it was implemented before well it misses the point. The issue with the continued violence in Chicago is probably the same issue. We have here in Louisville. And that is that the Justice system here. Let's people back out on the street after committing a string of violent crimes, and it's you know, if you want to deal with this we've got to stop over punishing a victimless crimes like, you know, smoking dooby or whatever and and start really punishing violent crimes where someone else has been violated. That's exactly what the mayor and the police superintendent have been saying for years now, they'd rather have the politicians in Springfield put laws on the books. They can keep these people behind bars for much longer, especially repeat gun offenders. Because what they're seeing is someone gets picked up for a gun charge. They've been convicted before and they're back out on the streets in a matter of days or weeks, and we've also seen an incredible amount of guns flowing into to Chicago. They just picked up two people last week who had stolen about four hundred guns from UPS facility and Memphis. They were bringing them straight to Chicago. So that's the other thing they're trying to do is to stop this flow of guns as well. But. The mayor does not think that the president's suggestion work. But the president says he's actually going to send members of the the Justice department to Chicago try to try to work this out, and he's bringing to the White House Chicago in. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Ryan Chicago, hold on riots. Now. It's ye. That's his new name. He's changed his name. Again, you had a call him. Ye yeah. Now, Kanye hasn't. Really? I don't know if he's still has a home here. I mean, he's been out in Los Angeles. Obviously since he got married, he's he's made an occasional appearance here and there and who's at lollapalooza made an appearance at a White Sox game for some reason back in September. No one quite understands. Why they're there are some rumblings that maybe he's looking at a political future here in Chicago with Rahm Emanuel stepping down. Well. Twisting together, isn't he moving back to Chicago? We'll see I'm I'm not aware of any plans to pray. He might have property here already. I'm not exactly sure. Because if he does it's called there in the wintertime where will his wife take her, but selfies? You know, it's interesting because I know that our Kelly has a place in Trump Tower, maybe part of this conversation. They're gonna have on Thursdays about him getting a place. Well, I don't know where our Kelly is on Trump's support. Maybe they'll move him out and put put Ye in, but joking aside Kanye and Kim Kardashian are both working towards kind of what I was talking about rehauled overhauling the Justice system, which is one of the rare areas where we might have some agreement between the left and right in America, where we stop again, let's not ruin somebody's life because they smoke marijuana or did drugs when they were seventeen and put them on this path to poverty and criminal records. Ed, but then let's actually do punish the people that are committing violent crimes. I know that they're talking about the the Justice reform part of that. And that's one of the keys here. Yeah. That's that's what the discussion is going to be. We'll see what comes out of the the and Trump meeting. But yeah, obviously, he's the president has always focused on Chicago. And it's kind of been at some of these rallies a bit of a joke. Like, what the hell is going on in Chicago just kind of, you know, make make make no. But I mean seriously there have been hundreds of people killed so far this year number is coming down. But you know, they're trying to get a grip on it. And you know, a lot of ideas are coming to the table. Just a matter of of which ones are working, which ones aren't. And of course, New York is the one that's the city that's being put on a pedestal during the Giuliani years as a city that was able to turn things around. But what's the mayor of Chicago is pointing to is that that the stop and frisk numbers in Chicago. I had back in twenty fifteen where we're well. Outpacing what they were what they were in New York. So that needed to change interesting. All right. Let's thanks Ryan. She ate it. Take. So it'd be Trump. I don't know here. He here's Ye. All right. We were talking earlier about the the left being violent and the media always under under stating the violence of the left while at the same time falsely accusing the right of gauging and violence, they didn't engage in. I found the audio. It was ABC news Brian Ross who I think's been wrong a few other times famously during the Trump administration. He's no Marion wrong. I don't think he's acts is he still working for ABC? And I don't think so I think they either fired him or they took. They changed his duties. I don't think he's reporting on your real news anymore. Anyway, here's the audio. They let him go twenty twelve. Brian ross. Thanks the Aurora. Colorado mass killer as a tea partier might try. I want to go to Brian Rauscher propriety been looking at investing in the background, Jim home something. Brian Ross has got a breaking news story wasn't. He the one that had that scoop on the Trump administration turn out to be like nothing. That's why he got let go that was important in Rosh guys. I'm big here was that. That's why he got let go in two thousand seventeen. Russia's defecate is a Jim Holmes.

"And joining the hoodie fan club, and you could win a hoodie. We just give them away randomly on Facebook. Like this one. Lisa tyler. From Sweetwater, Texas. Congratulations. Lisa. Congratulations. Awesome. You could also go to our website and buy a hoodie. If you don't win one, you could wind will gladly sell you on the shirt pickup sales. When the when the weather starts changing all over the country. It's there we warm when we were down in Florida. We were down in Houston as soon as you hit the about set September market starts getting those chilly nights. Nothing. Like sporting a nice night. They're really good high you when you get a lotta hoodies, you go on at some of these websites for some of these really cool car TV shows, and you spent like fifty bucks on a hoodie, and it's like thin heels. Like, you're wearing a shirt I donated a couple of our early hoodies. Yeah. That were we were trying to figure out what we liked and they were pretty poor. Yeah. Keep those if you're if you're on a diet, and you're worried about your weight, and you put one of these on you wanna take it off before you step on that scale because it's good. Number it will substantially I I do find myself not wearing it. If I'm going into situations where it might get dirty or so do you have to? I take it off when I don't wanna sweat. It is warm in its little bit right on the edge of temperature. It's got some good some goodness to it. By one. Good. They are. They're so good. That. Anyway, I don't wear. That website register for the brush hero too. Ever from Shannon, and he always wear it. But just. Four point there where you just gotta I'm I totally agree. When I'm in the office some days, it's cold upstairs and warm downstairs, and yeah. Transition. Let's talk to Don, Don, you're on the end of the hood show. What can we do for, you know? Yes, I have a nineteen Ninety-three Honda Accord. And. Changed the belt out time belt at forty five thousand miles approximately and today it has. Two hundred and twenty one thousand miles right? And it's a nice free Honda Accord. It's a it's a day. And it's got you know, it's aging has got the leaking leaking oil keeping moorland doesn't smoke, but signed belt if I should change or just save money. Investing maybe save that for another car that is down the road. That is a quandary. But I have kind of done, you know, I have customers with that car with over three hundred. Kind of you know, breaks kinda wear now shocks are wearing out. All car gets older. We feel your quandary. Yeah. We have customers with over three hundred thousand on those cars, and the biggest thing that kills them is when the timing belt breaks. So you keep that timing belt just from breaking. They are expensive to change. You can get a lot of money six hundred thousand bucks, depending on the car where you've got a timing belt involved. But like I said, it's it seems like when those cars failed mostly because of that I'm in a poll a Chris question here. Okay. I think you're thinking this question is he I think he is when you have a new vehicle, and it gets to one hundred thirty five thousand miles quickly most likely because it's being used more less time has happened. He was a one thirty five which one forty five which is I think probably fifty thousand past or more the recommendation on the bell. Oh on the melt. Yeah. And so now he's at two twenty. So let's just say it was to twenty-five. He's eighty thousand since the last one, but I'm gonna get a lot more time has passed since the first one hundred forty five thousand five thousand miles is the replacement belt from did you do a brand name belt or did you? Did you buy a Honda belt? What did what did you do the first time? The first time has changed out. All the member of the first time, I change it. I think back see my brother had the car before lie did. So he had I got at one forty five. Okay. All right. So, but I'll be a change it out before that. I would think. Okay. Getting at though is if you know, you put a high quality belt on they're they're still they're still down by the by the Honda dealership at one forty. There we go. Okay. They most likely used a Honda belt, and they they make a good good product that they put back on there that range is going to be more predicated by the years that have passed then the miles that have passed because you've got you've got a lot more years that have passed because that rubber breaks down. So and it's a whole kit. It's the belt the water pump, the idler pulley the tension or all of it gets replaced together is if any one of those fails the whole systems, but to answer your question, I think which was more specific was do you spend the money on if the if the if the car is needing breaks, I have a and the and the and the rust is coming in strong, and you've got major concerns about rust in critical areas. I have a better question. I'm gonna I'm gonna let it ride just in don's case. Let me ask this question. John if you replace this car, are you going to spend three thousand dollars or buying new car. Fairly new not new, but I I like to get a four wheel and here in Minnesota. So cold weather, four wheel like a C RV, or you know, on them, Honda pilots or something like that. You know, I'd save the money and put it towards your next vehicle keeps shaving the money. Wait until that car is ready to go. I wouldn't take it too far out of town. Unless you're got a good text. We definitely have seen people take them a long ways. But the odds are not in your favor. It could break any time with the miles name is he at the point now where he should he's either going to drive it till it quits or he should sell it now while it's still has some value or visit. It doesn't have. At this point. That wasn't without a timing. Belt is nice gonna bring five hundred to two thousand dollars. Big swing. Yeah. Good point good point. None does that help you out. Does that put you in the right direction? Does. Thank you very much. I appreciate your help. Thanks very much. It is amazing. The swing in people's minds when they come into our own repair shop, they'll say, I've just got no car. It's not worth fixing. And I look at it. And I say that cars like nine years old got less than I ever with Russ. I know where you're going. It's got no rust on it, but they're saying is an old car. I'm not going to fix it. And like, are you kidding me? It's like we picked up. About three years ago. We picked up a two thousand and ten I think it is Impala. So it wasn't very old, but it had a hundred and forty thousand miles on it, no rust and the transmission was slipping so they said, I'm just gonna junk it. I don't need it. So well, we'll take it. You know, they just they just did not it wasn't that to them. It was an old car. But this is a family who typically has newer cars. They don't make repairs on they're not a repair their trade it and get it. Some people do that. But other people will have a twenty two year old car, that's a little rust little really rough around the edges interior's, not great. Maybe the air doesn't work. But they're like, you know, what I'm gonna put an engineer because I want to keep driving another one hundred thousand miles, and I don't really meet air. Big swing. Now. Let let me let you guys in on a little secret of what I did there. I played some Jedi mind games, you told him that he should keep the car and run it out. And it's I gave him permission to buy the new car. So now, Don got whatever answer he wanted from us. You are. Yeah. Is not the car your entire chess. You guys were we? Yes, I wish you the best. I've I've you're going to have it's gonna work out. Let's talk to Lynn you're on the end of the hood show. What can we do for you? All three shimmy avalanche that I purchased recently much about it. They really put them in. Oh the metal. Right. They put 'em put 'em up on top of the frame. You just about get your fingers. Stuck in there to find out which one that's leaking through? There you go. I knew this was coming. I replaced spiced industry. Ryan, Chicago.

"He's hitting, home runs, down in LA, by the way more home runs than. Anybody on the, giants presently. By the way I want to show cope out because you always learn some cool little factoid you're gonna listen to cope like for example. I heard you say this. Today and I hadn't. Realized this. Not that's is. Pretty actually pretty timely and relevant where you were, just talking about the let you said today the lack giant moves on trade deadline come and gone mile my meanwhile the. Padres are making moves that really register with me, because I was like you know. What, the. Padres are pulling levers and with the. Giants are just chilling the? Top ten? Prospects A guy who could be, in the bigs right now or wait till next year what. We're building to compete for let me ask you let's just play. Devil's. Advocate so what would, the what would they like the mindset or the approach be through the giants for not making moves like in terms of like maybe bettering your team for next year with an eye. On next season like hey. Let's bring a, young kid in now if we can we'll pick up a prospect here and there for one of our guys I don't know who I'm not setting the trade up but. I'm just saying what would the mindset, beat to not do that the, only thing I can think of and to me this isn't this doesn't play, to a mindset? Of plays more do an excuse is we need to stay below, the one ninety seven Yeah we can go after Bryce this off season, they can't say we're going after. Bryce but that has, to be the assumption that. Must be the never thing that doesn't make any sense to me is you knew on deadline day it was likely and I I've got a theory that they probably knew the day of the Johnny Cueto was gonna. Have, to, have Tommy John right right so you don't come out, and say that because it hurts your leverage if you're trying to pick. Up a back end starter because then somebody says well, we're going to get, you then if we know you need a pitcher? So I get them not saying anything about it but, now you know he's got Tommy John Jonah they did nothing. To even I mean an extra bullpen arm right minor league free agent Right right Anything that would have helped get through the rest of this season and keep you intact? For next it's been. Tough man, I mean the giants like. They can't they. Can't win they no matter how they seem to slice. It up, I mean because a couple of, years ago let's be. Honest cope I didn't really know you that well at, the time but when they signed Cueto, and Somare Joe was all for, it said those are. Great moves these are good arms. Established arms Marsha doesn't have the track record of, Cueto necessarily but, you know he's, a. Workhorse not he's gonna. Give you he never gets hurt until. This year, so we we can't be. Too? Critical right they did make moves that helped the club put them in the postseason when they brought those guys and and, that's is would you rather be it seemed like the as who won't go out and make any moves. Or teammate the giants who has, been proactive and I think that just because this is maybe the outlier year where they. Weren't, proactive yeah you're coming off, the ninety. Eight losses you felt like I should have got all in to try to make this happen, this year and then it leaves you with this big question Mark of what where's this thing? Going like I have no idea what the move is now for next year with your number two on the DL, you've got you've, got, over One. Hundred million, committed to nine players and. Bumgarner is going. To be a free agent can we call this series. I mean, you could probably say this about, other series of certainly. Series that are coming up shortly but is this the, most important series of the year so, far this four-game set because you, could actually if you. Really go out there and ball. You can help your own costs dramatically Kobe let's, say we take, a three out, of. Four suddenly everything would. Feel different like everything would feel dramatically. Different look, when you're a playoff race, and? You're fighting for a wild card and you, got a lot of teams to jump let's face it every game from now, until September thirtieth or until you're mathematically eliminated officially becomes the most important game of the year but this. Series because it's in the division, because as a team that's ahead of you absolutely it matters more of these games count. Double, you lose a game you're, guaranteed to. Lose ground that day to a team that's ahead you can't have it so three out of, four I think in that may be a tall ask a pig gotta start against Grinky but? Three out of four that has to be where the bars at right now if you. Wanna make some headway you, can't even really Afford to to because then you're just you, know you're still losing days you're losing calendar, days you're losing games you're not picking. Up, ground and you can't have it why have the. First three matchups in front, of me and I'm going to. Assume Holland gets the start on Sunday I think but tonight obviously Bumgarner, Grank he great matchup tomorrow you got Stratton against. Corbin corvettes tough and then you got Saturday's you'll see swore as against a buckled and I believe that would bring up Holland right. On Sunday creek his arm in the rotation so look at you like you said it's. A. Tall order is ain't gonna be easy, but, if you want to. Be a playoff team go act like a playoff team. Go beat. A team that you. Need to be you could. Win three or four thirty laughing because you, made them laugh. And wanting to try to cause you can win three or four and you could and I'm not trying. To be pessimistic yeah yeah it's, alright generally pretty optimistic I I agree but I would say this because they're playing a. Team. That's, right in front, of him And there are free teams in fire from they could. Win three or. Four, and, still leave, this weekend down five games in the Nevada yo easily, axes lot they were just yeah The. Dodgers, are. Heating up we need some help well here you go yeah the dodgers are heating up and they who are they going against today let me check this all. Out yesterday yeah, yes Okay. And then oh. By the way NFL football. Tonight if anybody cares the. Hall of fame game. Kobe, I could see. You, he's got the of course that's right writer bears Ryan Chicago Bears fan? Cova Alice about it tell us all. About, yourself My fandom roquan Smith. Number one draft pick hey by the way to further entice a a young Kobe with, the sauce paulie MAC viewing party tonight primarily revolving around. Giant baseball but I'm willing to bet we could. Have those guys flip on your bears game for your thank you gave some, bears, wall twenty, five screens, screens as far as I can see I love it and I'll be DVR in any. Way so DVR in, the hall. Of fame gave money I just I got to see what my bears. These young kids like like unfortunately roquan Smith you know their number one pick? Won't be on, the, field because they. Haven't, got, him, signed yet last guy on Seinfeld big deal the first rounders quibbling over a clause in. A contract about guaranteed money should he get. A, suspension due. To the new helmet injured new helmet rule so there's that yeah it's the bears yeah they're. They're. They're really, just, a on type, organization what the, bears play in a preseason game tonight they, don't, have their first round. Pick sign yeah, that's great you could. Tell that I'm. Thrilled about it if we could just. Circle back for one second To the San Francisco Giants in coves point, is, very well, taken about, you could take three out of four and still lose ground but and it's not about. Pessimism it's not about, optimism it's. About realism about where these teams out right now it's about being realistic. And about what the expectations should be but you can't get caught up in? What's going on, with, any other series. Any, other, teams, if you take three out of four guess what you've just won six out of seven. Games okay now you can officially call that. Gaining, some momentum. Bonus close to give them a boost where I think the two-game set in San Diego bounce Let. Me. Bounce dropped the balance the balance to this Rb l. style by the way it's a pretty good fabric softener for your laundry but go ahead Spring fresh okay Andre yesterday. Bring. Fresh fresh actually I do have some bounce right. Now Okay, but six out of seven that, is I would consider a legitimate balance especially. Winning six out of seven Indiana listen, is what they would have? Done if they take three, out of four are you gonna legitimate balances and I'll agree with COPA. Get all use a good balance, right about now bouncing a positive direction if you're a forty Niner fan we'll let the ball bounce, your way again today. Because it is the forty nine. Days of. Forty nine or. Season tickets a contest doesn't stop. For anybody can't stop won't stop Ryan you know how to do it when you hear the when you hear the key nine foghorn you.
